"Up very early for work. It was still dark out. It was quite early in the morning. And normally i woke up dylan to get him to his morning class. That particular morning dealing bounded down the stairs in the dark past my bedroom door because my bedroom on the main level his was upstairs and i wondered why he was up so early and i opened my bedroom door to house was pitch black. Couldn't see him. I yelled into the darkness deal and all he said was by by kind of like very definitive by and then he slammed the door and then i said to my husband you write. Something is bothering him. What's he doing up. You know it was just also odd that he would be upset early. And i said will you be here to talk with him when he comes home and he said yes. I will so i went on to work. I didn't think much of it. I thought whatever was bothering dylan. My husband would talk with him about it and everything would be fine but at noon. That day I gotta. I was away from my desk. I was getting ready for a meeting. Where i had to drive somewhere and i got back and it was a message from my husband's saying Susan this an emergency. Call me back immediately. And i could tell from his voice that something had happened to one of our two sons i was terrified and i called him back and he just said listen to the television and he put the phone down front of the tv. And i couldn't hear and i was yelling. What's happening what's happened. And then he just blurted out he said. There's a shooting at the high school kids with trench coats or are shooting people. And he said dylan dylan. Eric both had trench coats. They were with the kids. Were those larger black coats and And he said that his friends don't know where he is They think maybe. Dylan maybe or shooters. And he was just gushing all this information and i just said i'm coming home right now and i hung up in on that ride home. I.

"Center of the bait and still really get halibut around a little bit more if they spent more time on it. So you know what? We saw the best move back into the bay here, 10 days or so up in the upper bay. The brothers the sisters, Red Rock that area too, so I think we'll have another repeat of last year when we had some nice mix of halibut and Strauss all the way here in October. Yeah, they're even catch. And so I think I felt I'm not mistake. It was a 26 or 28 pounder taken up just off Dylan Dylan's Beach. Yeah, that's a big one. That's a bill a big, you know, that's a trophy wife. Yeah, without a doubt. Didn't used to be, but it is now. Yeah, No, We're just showing our age there, Bob, Right? Those three back, right? Yeah, that's the one thing will never will never see That kind of that kind of bastard is unique, but But, you know, I have to say whether, yeah, Yeah, sure. I was going to say that. There's Ah ah lot of people in the delta Now they will not keep anything over about £10. They throw him back on. This has been increasing in popularity over the years. Now there are still those the fish down low in the system. They got 2 35 pounder crammed in their freezer that have been there and they catch a 35 pounder gonna keep it and now it's looked down upon it, even though they have every right to keep it. But most people have looked to the future and say these are prolific sponsors. They gave me a good fight. Give him a break. Let him sponsors have somebody else join them, Enjoy them and just such a great attitude Tohave. It's really the same kind of attitude that saved the marlin fishing down in Kabul Sound, Lucas. So remember when nobody would think about it. Turn him back A marlin now nobody would think about keeping it. Yeah, I agree, Teo. You know everybody's got a camera so you can certainly take a couple shots, You'll pick the fish up or in the water. Whatever release it and then look at all the years you get about how big it was. If you put it on the scale, you can't lie. But if you just take pictures when you're on the boat that know how big it was, and then you have that That that story to tell for generations, So it's really nice to see the fish go back in the system, that's for sure. And I understand it's your entitled to retain the fish if you want, but It's a nice gesture to release it for sure. Okay, Andy. Well, it was. Let's see what happens next every week. I think it's going to be a little different. Ah, it could. It could fall off a little bit, and you could get another school of fish in there. Ah ah and and both have happened many times in the past. So have a good weekend. Let's hope for the best. Absolutely. We get a little rain coming in here that might that might draw some fish in here to come in the later part of the week, So I hope so for everybody here. Okay, Andy. Thank Bob. Thank you. Bye. This is our town kind of you'll remember this from the south when I was a kid living in Florida that has sixty seven counties in Florida and every single frequent one of those little days got their share sheriff telling you what's up so everyone's different so there in New Hampshire. You got this good ole boy. We're there's a map shows. How many counties you guys got tent okay so he's not that many that was edit district out a bunch of little squares of show? How how's the government Parson doubt we a lot a little to two hundred thirty eight towns? I think towns and cities what's the jurisdictions it goes like a state law. Do you have county law yet. "Margaret opinion back in September when tiger win the tour to wait. Hold on, sir. Dylan Dylan Dylan Dylan, Dylan ways, he still talking Dylan Dylan Phil talking. Dylan. Dylan. Dylan. Dylan. Dylan's gone. Okay. So sorry. We couldn't understand Dylan. And I was having a hard time hearing him, but he kept going, and so maybe he'll figure out maybe he'll figure it out approach. The to broach is to make sure that you have a cell phone that you're not swallowing eating or. Also, we do want to hear what you have to say. Most of the time we want to hear what you have to say Travis is in Sacramento. Travis welcome to after hours. Oh my God. You guys are killing me. All I got from. You was back in September. Yes. Oh god. Every thank you for taking my call. So I had a question you brought up the chargers and the chiefs and how they're in the same division with almost getting double digits, you know, and they both they both have double digit wins. Yeah. The AFC that do when they're in the same division. So I'm I'm just curious like if it in NFL history if any teams in the same division have ever gotten a number one and two feed, and if you could ever see that happening. I mean, I know the chargers the chiefs right now with what's going on with them. I know that they have to play this Thursday. But you know, what are the chances of that happening? And do you know if that has ever happened in NFL history with that happening in the same division, not in the wildcard era for sure because they can't the division winners automatically are one two three and four. And if you're not a division winner, then you are a wild card. So that's how it works. You can't have two wild cards from the same division. So the NFL doesn't limit. How many teams can go to the playoffs from one? One division. But in the case of the chargers, they cannot unless they would catch the chiefs and win the AFC west they cannot be higher than a five seed. So now, I don't know previous to the wildcard era how they did it. And that's before me preemies, but in this particular era going back to two when they started these wild cards you want to nine hundred ninety when did he start these wild? If you want to go back and tell me when this current format, Chris, please the it's impossible because you there is a premium on winning your division. And actually, I like it that way as much as you could look at it and say, oh that's not fair to the chargers. They had the second best record. If it turns out that way, the fact is that there's a premium on winning your division similar to major league baseball. Right. People complain about the wild card game. Will you know, what if you don't like it? Then don't play it it make sure you win your division. So that you end up avoiding the wild card, you know, in the one and done. So I like it because I think it matters. And generally in the NFL Travis you watch you know, that things turn over so quickly. In the NFL, whereas you can have a division that absolutely stinks one year. And the next year you can have three teams from that division end up in the playoffs. And so it's an equal footing. Equal ground the salary cap. The free agency the draft all of that plays into the NFL is is really competitive and from year to year, you have teams that go from worst to first and divisions that go from worst to first. Okay, awesome. Hey, thank you so much for answering that Alex gift kinda wondering. Yeah. Great show. And yeah, I'll be I'll be listening. So thank you so much. All right. Travis. Thanks for listening in Sacramento. So the current playoff format was two thousand two, but I believe they changed it going back before that too. So I'm not sure they realized divisions and all that stuff, but the the more we're talking about the wildcard era. The way that it's set up. Now is that you have to win your division. And again, I don't mind it. I like it that way because I think it matters. If you're first in your division, it should count for something. And it's difficult to if you're playing the AFC east you're talking about bumping up against the patriots who have been so dominant in that division for the better part of two decades. And it's I get it. But in the dolphins and the bills and the jets they know what they're up against every year. They have an opportunity to get better. They have an opportunity to try to figure out how to unseat the patriots other than the AFC east. Do we not have turnover and all the other divisions? We think about it. The saints have now won back to back NFC south titles for the first time in their division history. Only recently did any team in the NFC south win a division title in two consecutive years. Very often in the AFC north. You've got turnover thinking about the NFC north and the NFC east where my goodness I don't know that it's. Ever happened that you've had the same winner two years in a row. And if it hasn't hasn't happened recently. I mean, you've got teams that go from worst to first, and I I in that division all the time. It's the same thing. I know the chiefs have been really good in the AFC west. But the Broncos just won the Super Bowl out of that division a couple of years ago. And obviously the chargers have been a contender though, they have yet to get a bus through in the postseason in this Philip rivers era. So I like the fact that you have major turnover. The Rams have now won two consecutive NFC west titles. But think about where the Rams were a few years ago in Saint Louis, and and the gum on the bottom of the NFL shoe. And so you definitely get turnover. And that's great for the NFL. And I don't think there's any need to change the format you remember a few years ago when the league indicated that was going to add another round of playoff games. So they were going to actually expand the postseason, and there was a pretty big uproar about it. They were gonna take out one of the bison. So only one team in each conference was going to have a by with which is an extraordinary advantage in my opinion to have a bye week. And yeah, so they've chosen not to do that because the format as it is right now, it's pretty darn perfect. I don't know that you can. Change it a whole lot. I mean, they're always going to be money hungry and greedy. But it's pretty perfect the way that it is.

"Terrorism, actually, ended, of, itself, is, a hard thing, to crack because there's nobody has a universal definition United. Nations got one is about ten paragraphs long even, own United States code we have two different definitions of terrorism but terrorism in and of itself is, not a, pejorative it's it's like gravity I mean, he's not good or bad it is and. It has a distinct component and if you're referring to. Mount hometown of Charleston his event A terrorist event is based on the. Intent of the guy doing it for instance Columbine is, not a terrorist event those guys were wackos this event here if it. Proves fruit. That he. Warned, start, a race war and he had political agenda and he hated you know the race that's terrorism period it is see I tend to, agree with you on that because I I like that definition from this standpoint I guess the. Only reason I care about the definition is that if a terrorist event than perhaps we deploy different kinds, of answers to that and different kinds of solutions than we do to a crime a crime in the United States has handled by civilian authorities terrorism needs to be addressed differently. In this case the you know this Dylan Dylan, roof seems more like a. A one off he he was a, nut but he was also apparently seeking as you say. To start a race. War hated, black people had a political. Message behind what he was doing but he. Didn't sound like he was affiliated with any other, larger groups So, I I suppose civilian law enforcement can handle it but but when. We have acts of terrorism say jihadis who become you know who become emboldened. By what, they read on the internet and. Then decide to save put together a. Pressure cooker bomb and blow people up you have to have different answers for different problems yeah I agree, but I, mean honestly what you're seeing. With Dylann roof, is kind of what you're seeing this on brothers in, Boston I mean if he according to. Him and I'm not really sure what his intent was at the end of the day I mean he he had a bunch of black friends and he would talk with black friends about going to college. Of Charleston and shooting that place up well that's not predominantly, black.
