Wade's Stance on His Son's Sex Change
"So Dwayne Wade is an NBA star. I don't know if he's as relevant as he used to be. I think he retired, so he retired now. Thank God. And now I guess he can focus on pimping his kid out to be a part of the LGBTQ community. But the report says that D wade petitions the court. He wants to petition the court to have his son's name legally changed to zaya from Zion. Wade also asked the court to issue a decree legally recognized that his son's gender has changed from male to female. Y'all know these deranged black folks and anti God idiots that are out here and the reason I say that because he's all over the black blogs and not all of them, not all the black people, but it's a lot of them out there for some reason. They praise and D wade and are you so stunning and so brave and I think it's absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand how a man can do his son like that. And I heard D wade explain in a barbershop conversation or something and he pretty much sounds so stupid that if I was his daddy, I would slap him in his head and tell him to wake up.
Do Students Need to See More People of Color?
"I think this gentleman name is Alex Barron's berenson. I think that's his name. He was, he was kicked off the site, kicked off a Twitter, and he sued them. And it says that Alex berenson is back on Twitter after being banned for nearly one year over COVID-19, misinformation. Last week, the former New York Times reporter settled his lawsuit against the social media company, which admitted errors and restored his account. And in quotes, the First Amendment does not apply to private companies like Twitter, mister berenson wrote last week, and he says, but because the Biden administration brought pressure to bear on Twitter, he believed that he has a case that is constitutionally rights that his constitutional rights were violated.
Do Students Need to See More People of Color?
"People of color, the students need to see more people of color. It's like, no, more people of color need to venture into these particular work environments. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't believe that lack of diversity has to do with somebody's restrictions. It has more to do with decision making. Young black women aren't going into teaching like white women are. Because if they were, then why is the black woman up there talking? How did she get in the door? They just sit up there and they say, oh, we only hire one black person a quarter. I mean, I just doubt it. Are you qualified? You can't walk around sounding like Sinéad and think you're gonna get a job somewhere. This is not the world of make believe. You need to be articulate. When you're young, you need to teach your children how to articulate their senses as well. Annunciate their words. It's not being white. You need to be proper. You need to have proper English. That's the language that we speak in this country. We don't speak ebonics.
Saying Good Bye to Brian Stelter
"So we got a clip because Brian stelter, I'm a wait on LeBron still to story. So if you haven't heard Brian stelter was rumors that he would be fired from CNN. Of course, Cassini and suck their ratings suck all these people suck. And when Trump was in office, they made money off of bash and Trump every day. And now that they don't have nothing to talk about, but a crippled old man stumbled into the podium every day. They don't have the ratings and so they getting rid of people. But matter of fact, let's do it now so I'm talking about him and then we'll move on. Let's go to the clip. It's about a minute and 20 seconds. I may not play the whole clip, but I want you to hear Brian stelter and maybe this is an indication of how he ended up getting fired, wrote a clip. It is getting worse. Being clear about the threat to democracy is one of the most important things that American journalists can do. Reducing a liar's reach is not the same as censoring freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is different than freedom of reach. I think we're going to look back someday and say, wait, they tried to ban the 1690 like we're going to look back. We're just going to, it's going to make no sense in 30 or 40 years.
Rainbow Colored Fentanyl Pills Pour Over Southern Border
"Rainbow colored fentanyl pills pour over southern border, hitting American cities. I don't know if you've seen pictures of these pills. They literally a multi colored pills and a fentanyl pills. I think at least two or three dudes that I went to school wouldn't play football with die from OD and over fentanyl pills. Now they won't say they did. Oh, the person died in the hotel. I know what Don in the hotel is. They won't tell you out of respect for the family or whatever, it's not suicide. It's more than likely because I knew the guy in school, more than likely he was taking fentanyl pills and he got a hold of some bad stuff. And it says that the pills resemble candy and sidewalk chalk pouring over the southern border. Resembling candy in sidewalk chalk. Pouring over the southern border are plunging cities nearby. Are plaguing cities nearby. I see what they're saying. It looks like it looks like candy or chalk that you can write on the sidewalk. That didn't make any sense. I don't know who ever wrote that sentence. I need to go back to English school. Or maybe go to my public school. So they can help people like me understand how they write the English like that. Over 15,000 rainbow color fentanyl pills that look like a small piece of candy were seized Wednesday after authorities found a deadly drug just strapped around the person's leg, deadly drugs dropped around a person's leg at the nogales port of entry at the United States Mexico border in Arizona.
Florida's Voter Fraud Problem
"I didn't get to talk about this yesterday, but Ron DeSantis announced that voter fraud charges will be filed against 20 floridians. I don't even know if they're not even lyric for idiots. They're illegals voting in the election. So according to the article of just now news, it says it is not just, and this is from Ron DeSantis is not just 20 arrests, that this has opened up a can of worms. There's going to be more people that are going to be arrested and connected to these voter fraud enterprise. It's just other 20 facing charges most have prior convictions for murder or sexual assault. Which bars them from voting under Florida law, though they nonetheless cast ballots in the 2020 election. Let me continue to read. It says now this is one of this is only one class of voters that we know have violated the law. He went on. There are investigations going on into people that have voted in two different jurisdictions, and I am imagining that you are going to see prosecutions on that. We also have folks who are voting who are illegal aliens.

"I guess I'll pose it to you. It is a simple question, is dunking overrated. No. Dunking rules. It's properly rated because partly of these things, right? Because of the danger that we see people assuming when their bodies, because of the fact that it is for flair and emphasis and it's not, I mean, there are other important plays, but I think dunking really energizes the crowd, it's spectacular to watch. It is yeah, it's wonderful. I will say, we've been suffering from in the age of social media. What I'll call posterization inflation where any good dunk people are like, he put them on a poster and it's like be honest with yourself. Would you hang that poster in your childhood bedroom? If not, that's just a great dunk, which is also great, but it's different than like a posterizing. And I think so I will say individual dunks have become overrated, but dunking as a genre. Spectacular art ten out of ten. That is the perfect way to describe it. We do need better language in 2022 when it comes to describing dunks. I agree, not everything can be a poster, but dude, slam dunks are incredible, like slam dunks making me happy that my family and I moved to America. It's like, it's maybe one of the greatest things that this country has ever produced are slam dunks. I can remember where I was for certain dunks, like I remember watching Shaq or D wade lob it up to Shaq against the Cavs. You know, that play where he dribbles around a guy who runs out of bounds, run backs and bounce, throws it to Shaq. I remember Dwyane Wade putting Anderson varejao on a poster. I actually had that framed on my desk at my SIR. Yeah, that's a boaster Dwyane Wade over Anderson version watching that at home with my dad, my dad was like in your face very shall we. As a family, we just we hated varjo for no reason. Oh my God. And also not only are dunks so cool, it makes blocks at the rim so cool. Like that's what made bam's block on Jayson Tatum so cool. It's like this might be the greatest plays I mean like heartbreak. When I see it and highlights packages, my stomach turns. Because of how bad it felt in the moment. I was so happy I literally jumped up off my couch. Screamed at the TV show. I've never done, I think the only two times I've done that in the last 15 years were for bam's block and LeBron's block during the 2018 finals. Yes. Yeah. I scared my dog, but yes, dunks are so who doesn't love dunks? Like when Zion has the ball and you're like, he might dunk right now, that tension is exquisite. It's incredible. I will say you brought up blocks. I think blocks maybe are underrated. I'll give I'll give Marcos that as a point in his favor. There are other plays that I think we should hype up closer to where we are with dunks, but like blocks at the rim for sure are incredible. And then just like, I mean, one of the reasons I love this Celtics team is watching rob Williams just come out of nowhere and smother shots block jump shots like a big man blocking a three is so fun. Which is like the inverse of a guard pulling out a rare dunk on a wide open fast break. And hopefully, look, Marcos, I don't mean to spit in your face on this. I hope with the league trying to clean up these take vowels a little bit.

"<Speech_Male> All right, sorry we <Speech_Male> started not orchestrated <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> all of these things. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Honestly, <Speech_Male> if PJ <Speech_Male> Tucker <Speech_Male> did this, <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> you would be <Speech_Male> like scouring the <Speech_Male> book right <Speech_Male> about that. The difference <Speech_Male> is PJ Tucker <Speech_Male> would never do it, <Speech_Male> okay? <Speech_Male> You keep <Speech_Male> PJ Tucker's <Speech_Male> name out of your <Speech_Music_Male> mouth, okay? <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I <Speech_Male> PJ Tucker <Speech_Male> has spent one <Speech_Male> season with the heat. It <Speech_Male> felt like a lifetime. <Speech_Male> He's <Speech_Male> one of probably <Speech_Male> a top ten <Speech_Male> favorite heater <Speech_Male> for me. I <Speech_Male> love him so <Speech_Male> much. When he said after <Speech_Male> the game, I <Speech_Male> didn't know what I <Speech_Male> had, but I knew I was <Speech_Male> going to give them everything <Speech_Male> that I did. I <Speech_Male> was like, I'm <Speech_Male> ready to jump <Speech_Male> off the <Speech_Male> top of this hotel <Speech_Male> for you right now. <Speech_Male> PJ Tucker, what <Speech_Male> a legend. Can I say something <Speech_Male> kind of <Speech_Male> maybe overarching <Speech_Male> about this series though? <Speech_Male> Sure. <Speech_Male> I think <SpeakerChange> whatever <Speech_Male> happens, I said <Speech_Male> this multiple <Speech_Male> times on this podcast. We <Speech_Male> can go back and listen. <Speech_Male> There are a lot of <Speech_Male> teams in the east <Speech_Male> that expect it <Speech_Male> to make at least the Conference <Speech_Male> Finals this year <Speech_Male> a lot. <Speech_Male> All those teams had <Speech_Male> disappointing seasons <Speech_Male> that didn't make it. The <Speech_Male> fact that Boston and Miami <Speech_Male> outlasted <Speech_Male> Boston beat <Speech_Male> Durant <Speech_Male> Giannis, <Speech_Male> the consensus <Speech_Male> top two players in the <Speech_Male> league headed into the season. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> The fact that the heat <Speech_Male> and Celtics have outlasted <Speech_Male> the sixers, <Speech_Male> nets and <Speech_Male> bucks, people could say all <Speech_Male> the heat had an easy <Speech_Male> path. Well, that's why <Speech_Male> you win the <Speech_Male> number one seat in the <Speech_Male> regular season, so you <Speech_Male> can play <Speech_Male> the worst teams <Speech_Male> in the playoffs. I think it's a <Speech_Male> successful season <Speech_Male> for both teams. <Speech_Male> And the fact that <Speech_Male> they've made it this far <Speech_Male> and what was probably <Speech_Male> the toughest top half <Speech_Male> of the conference. <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> In a long <Silence> time, and I think <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> just as a heat fan, <Silence> I always say my <Speech_Male> favorite <Speech_Male> heat season <Speech_Male> is a fan. <Speech_Male> To me, it's <Speech_Male> always comes down to like <Speech_Male> relative to expectations, <Silence> right? <SpeakerChange> Like <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> 2009, <Speech_Male> Dwyane Wade, like that <Speech_Male> team didn't have <Speech_Male> any expectations. They <Speech_Male> lost in the first round, <Speech_Male> but yeah, <Speech_Male> just seeing him come into <Speech_Male> the fourth quarter with 9 <Speech_Male> minutes to go every night <Speech_Male> and try to win <Speech_Male> the game. <Speech_Male> That was the most fun <Speech_Male> I had watching <Speech_Male> basketball <Speech_Male> just because it was like <Speech_Male> how good is this guy <Speech_Male> going to be? That's the best <Speech_Male> season he ever had. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> This is, I think, <Speech_Male> up there in terms <Speech_Male> of heat seasons <Silence> just because, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> you know, the big three teams, <Speech_Male> it was a <Speech_Male> relief. <Speech_Telephony_Male> When they want. <Speech_Male> Because the <Speech_Male> pressure was <SpeakerChange> so high. <Speech_Telephony_Male> <Speech_Telephony_Male> No one <Speech_Male> picked the scene to finish <Speech_Male> first in the east. <Speech_Male> No, <Speech_Male> look at how far Boston <Speech_Male> has come under 500 <Speech_Male> midway through <Speech_Male> the season. People were <Speech_Male> questioning, why <Speech_Telephony_Male> did we make the udoka <Speech_Male> higher? Are they going to split up? <Silence> it's really cool to <Silence> see both these teams <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> come as far as they have. <Speech_Telephony_Male> <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> And <Speech_Male> yeah, I know <Speech_Male> it's obviously going to be very <Speech_Male> disappointing for <Speech_Male> whichever one loses, but <Speech_Male> I think both <Speech_Male> the fat successful <Speech_Male> seasons, <Speech_Male> making it this far <Speech_Male> considering the expectations <Silence> <Advertisement> they had coming <Silence> into the year. <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Well, <Speech_Male> Rohan, <Speech_Male> thank you for <Speech_Male> saying <Speech_Male> all of that. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Well <Speech_Male> said, I know <Speech_Male> that literally <Speech_Male> the exact opposite <Speech_Male> sentiments will be <Speech_Male> shared <Speech_Male> in my <Speech_Music_Male> phone. <Speech_Music_Male> All night long. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Do not make <Speech_Male> me reveal <Speech_Male> the band text. <Speech_Male> That's all I have to say. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> So wrap up. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Ridiculous. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> So ridiculous. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> And I <Speech_Male> think that's going to do it for <Speech_Male> today's show. <Speech_Male> Thank

"This year? Yes. No, I've enjoyed getting to know Candace Parker better as a player throughout this process because she has become and I'm late to the party on this. I realize that people who have been fans of the W for a long time are like way ahead of me here. But to me, she wasn't really on my radar as one of the personalities that I was really keeping track of off the court. Obviously I knew she was like, she was at the sparks. She was doing great things. She was keeping this far to contender year after year since we started this podcast in 2016, 2017. But now, as I've seen her talk basketball on TNT with Dwyane Wade and I've seen the excitement, the city of Chicago is feeling as like a homecoming season for Candace Parker in her upper years in the league is about to happen. There's so much energy behind this guy that wasn't there before, and that's a fan base that's already pretty passionate. And I think so much of that is carried by Candace Parker and who she is and how visible she's been in the basketball world. And I liked doing this deep dive into where she's coming from because it kind of sets up a more monumental finishing chapter. I think we all expect this guy to contend with her at the helm this year of a really stacked roster. And to me, this story deserves a ring at the end of the end of the day. She's one championships. I realize that that's not a box that still lingering over her to be checked. But to me, the homecoming to Chicago, the team they've already got, the coach that they've got there. The moves that they've made, it feels like we just covered one book end of Candace Parker's career and the other bookend is.

"I mean, if we're already talking about how dynamite the warriors look on offense, the threat of having clay out there is massive. Unless he just really can't shoot anymore and he goes Gary Harris on us. Yeah, if he can shoot, then I think they're fine. And even if he's not great at that, even if he's rusty for a while, I mean, I don't know how much he's had people running at him while he's shot just in kind of getting his legs back under him and stuff like that. So I don't know how long that process takes. If there's a little bit of a, I mean, I don't want to call it yips necessarily because the guy hasn't even set foot back on a court yet as far as a meaningful game. But I don't know how much shaking the rust off. It'll take time. I imagine it will take time for him and that is completely fine. I think that I mean hell, people for years ran it Andrea bargnani and ran it mirror titch and all these other guys that were basically average, and at some point in their career below average three point shooters. Guys ran at Dwyane Wade because he, you know, the threat that he would potentially I don't know. You get guys that aren't half the shooter that clay is or has been that had big defensive pressure on them when they really didn't disturb it. So I don't think clay being out of the game for a while and less teams are just of the mindset that they're going to test him and try to mentally get in his head. They're not going to leave him open. And so just having him covered will open up their offense in ways that they don't have right now. So he's going to be immensely valuable for that standpoint, so I kind of don't care whether or not he can shoot right away. He'll add to their offense regardless. I'm more concerned about what he brings to their defense. And granted, you do have some guys that step in and defend and play those minutes. IG is still there. You've got the situation with bazemore, draymond, if he needs to and big situations when he's healthy, obviously. Can step in and try to guard certain people instead of taking the rim necessarily. But I mean, clay was essentially their guy taking on the biggest assignments after a while on the wing. That's not an easy task to do with the sorts of injuries he's had. So I'm more curious about that. And what sort of where that puts on him? And again, to what extent they've had him running through those sorts of things. And to what extent he's comfortable with that right away, I'm curious about that. I know that, you know, whether he can shoot or not is going to be most people's focus and how good he looks with the offensive stuff, but I'm not worried about that at all with him. I'm more concerned about defensively and the sort of stress that puts on him defensively..

We know chris bosh and we decided not to settle for just two of us all outages as you say that there are loud cries coming from chicago people saying we would have cleared the roster fell three of you chicago. We're thinking but history went away. It went and that is why before you go wayne. It is time to play one of our favourite games. What were you thinking chris. Bosh and dwayne wade addition. All right what were you thinking. When you claim that miami's american airlines arena. Was your house back in two thousand nine. Take a look now. This is incredible. Incredible somebody my favorite individual little my career really individual my house my house. They just changed the name of your by the way i always wanted to go. Go to my teammates. "This day and just like the wayne said give credit to the errors and family the rally family for their work their vision and really just the belief that they put in like. It's an organisational thing you believe you can win. You can actually do it. And that's what it's all about so we know that they're going to be aggressive any situation they can but like the said again only when is right and sometimes when his right is really right and they'll be right back in the mix that last year we saw that with the two of you in fact during the break when we were all like lining up on the screen. Here dwayne was like chris. This feels like two thousand ten when we were announcing who was going. I gotta ask you back about that guys. Look i mean when you guys were back and you ended up of course in lebron with miami before you got there. There was the chance that you both might have gone to chicago. So we've talked plenty about the heat side of things. But i want to dig back to the chicago side of things. What do you think would have happened. If you guys that decided in the end to all be together instead of miami players together i will say this you think you have things made up in your mind right but when i went into the to the pitch which chicago it was it was an excellent pitch. It was really really good. I was going to feel the way i was going to feel right. That was in the house that jordan bill. So i'm just is. It was all there. And like i tell people all the time. That was the pressure that they were putting on me so they said if you come to wayne lebron is gonna so you need to make a decision. That was my pressure and they were put like you know me. Dwayne de rose all day. Thanks okinawa pretty good team. It was it was just one of those psychological things that the that the teams was thrown out. There in chicago is no different. Yeah to add to that. The knicks Every team that was in the in the in the inner runnings in two thousand ten only break into star players. and so. he's acog. Oh it was going to be a race to do this. Kristen media chris o'brian. It wasn't be all through. Miami was the only team that that that made sure to put themselves in the position that all groups can come in. Maybe we had to take mess.

"Know what i talked to. Jazz people during donovan's rookie year. One of the main things i heard was how unlike some young players who see asking for help is a weakness. Donovan tapped every resource. He could find to get better including constantly asking for extra film sessions with coaches or striking up mentoring relationships with longtime nba vets. Those are exactly the kind of little building blocks over weeks and months near the conversations. That practices were. No one is watching. They create a twenty four year old. Who can lead his team to a comeback. Win against a team led by two time finals and bp. And because donovan was my last night we also got to hear some of his conversations with his teammates as the second half were noting. The clippers have just wrapped up a grueling seven-game series with dallas that they had less than twenty four hours to adjust the altitude. And the this game was. Utah's for the taking pay. Play game seven three days ago. It's all how talk this quarter. they'll call it quits and get ready for game to get ready for that shot fall shot though for keeping the monster we get nothing the next for the next four straight locked up here who spice in there The jazz is push worked feeding. Pardon part of a rough shooting outing. From paul george who was serenaded chance of playoff through the night but peachy did hit a big three. When it counted down the stretch and the fourth which gave la the chance to push the game to overtime in the final fifteen seconds. That didn't happen instead rudy. Gobert who critics say can't defend away from the basket defended away from the basket with flair. No less blocking marcus morris from getting a good shot off. The wing was huge for the jazz. Who are now up one. Oh on yes tire clippers team in this series where the schedule is to play. Every other day there is a huge disparity kind of crowd. Malachi air Ramos I has decided to become or to identify at least as a girl yeah what son is by design yeah he now goes by Zaia it was a yeah is a is a desire yeah I think it's yeah yeah twelfth yeah yeah preteens Diane who now goes by zeta is a leader in the LGBTQ community and he noted that he and his wife Gabrielle union who was and I bring it on yeah that's right yeah she was in bring it on they are proud of our allies of the communities of course Ellen de generous was just eating and seems like you're the best parents on the plan and of course there was thunderous applause in the audience has weighed when we was very very deliberate about saying we are proud and when I say proud we are route parents of a child in the LGBTQ plus community and we are proud allies as well he also said that that they take this role as being allies and pair you know parental allies very very seriously yeah and then he said the thing that makes me the the craziest he said once I at twelve years old came home and then he noted design was born as a boy that the child told him to Gabrielle that he wanted to quote live his truth nine nine yeah I said I think going forward I'm ready to live my truth Wade recalled telling him at twelve I want to be reference says she and her and I would love for you guys to call me desires area and so he said you know we want to give our child the best opportunity to be her best self and to tell her truth yeah so this huge liberal thing right to have their truth instead of just having truth yeah right now using what is true what is the fact that this kid was born a boy yeah they did reality not living in reality and that's the thing and if this and so he just comes home one day and he's like yeah I want to be a girl and I want you guys are calm me she and her and call me by this other name in there like alright that sounds good and then it's a flooded and then they're they're doing this for relic and brave yeah and this is what we're doing now this is what we're doing we're and I was writing the woken S. yeah of this attitude and that's the thing the parents are seen as woken if you don't see it as well then you're a terrible parent that's overdoing society now what the heck is not it is not is absolutely nuts and so he you know I don't know what this means in terms of medically how they're going to support the opposition or even F. this child wants to be treated in a medical I would assume that they do but I mean this is just become such a trend yeah it's a trend in such nonsense yeah because kids see it as I'm special I could be special and I can be applauded and I get to be because now they're saying she she she's a leader in her community what she gets to be a leader just because of this not because of anything else that she does right or he does but because of this and and kids automatically get applauded for this so dumb for real yeah it's it's crazy all absolutely crazy rap did you guys you guys are older than me no yeah we are find great you guys are doing very well but what I did I don't even know what a transsexual was did you guys now transgender learned about it when I was a teenager yes I saw Phil Donahue episode about it and I was fascinated because you know I've always loved the freak show so yeah from a young age yeah and I was really really fascinated by that phenomenon but it was so unusual and rare is very friendly Zaria friends yeah this is considered trendy and I still believe it's very small tiny tiny pop like part of the population I think a lot of these kids are doing at that because like Mike said it's a trend which is why you're hearing about D. transitioning you're hearing a lot more and more about people do you translate what yeah when they like transition as you as young people majors and then regret it and then they're like all that was a phase and now I realize it was phase and I want to switch back after they've already shown hormones into their bodies if you how do you have how do yeah after you chop off the rough yeah well yeah the way to do that well there's ways I mean and there's money that would be needed to get that done but it's dangerous all of this is so dangerous yeah Klay and it's dangerous emotionally and mentally too I mean these kids are being applauded for the seven set of somebody sitting down with them and saying here's the reality of the situation or maybe we should wait this out right couple years because you are developing both physically and emotionally and maybe we should sit down and talk about this before we applaud you for just becoming a girl overnight yeah it's since IT I mean it's just absolute sanity I yeah and parents are now I mean I think in this case to I feel like if this is how is this really is what happened where there are no more a came home one day and then was like I'm gonna live my truth and I'm going to live as a girl now and I need you to use she her and call me this name yeah and they were like okay you know I mean yeah they also feel the pressure probably even more so as celebrity because they're in Hollywood yeah and so they feel extra pressure to be woke and so they just came to the demands of the twelve yeah that's not parenting no that's like the exact opposite on the yeah yeah and that's the huge problem that we have here.
