"Out of here, <Speech_Male> let's <SpeakerChange> check out the <Speech_Female> mail bag Oh <Speech_Female> let's do it Carol <Speech_Female> wrote in about our <Speech_Female> conversation last. Week <Speech_Female> on the EU <Speech_Female> banning preinstalled <Speech_Female> APPs on devices <Speech_Female> Carroll says, <Speech_Female> my thoughts <Speech_Female> kept going to my mom <Speech_Female> who doesn't really know English. <Speech_Female> She's not tech <Speech_Female> savvy when she <Speech_Female> needs new phone she was <Speech_Female> goes for the best advice <Speech_Female> from apple or Samsung <Speech_Female> for the prestige, <Speech_Female> but she doesn't <Speech_Female> even really understand <Speech_Female> the concept of an APP store. <Speech_Female> Let alone how to <Speech_Female> install a new APP by herself <Speech_Female> no. Matter How many <Speech_Female> times I've tried to teach <Speech_Female> her it might be the <Speech_Female> language barrier. She'll <Speech_Female> always use the pre <Speech_Female> installed apps for her messaging <Speech_Female> and other basic <Speech_Female> needs and have someone <Speech_Female> else like a family <Speech_Female> member install things like <Speech_Female> facebook <Speech_Female> if phones were to contain <Speech_Female> no pre installed <Speech_Female> apps at all, I would pity <Speech_Female> anyone you had to <Speech_Female> help her set up a new phone <Speech_Female> away to batch. <Speech_Female> Install some chosen <Speech_Female> abstinence setup <Speech_Female> would be absolutely <Speech_Female> necessary. <Speech_Male> Carroll says I would <Speech_Female> personally love not having <Speech_Female> to bother removing <Speech_Female> or disabling preinstalled <Speech_Female> APPs on my <Speech_Female> own but I understand <Speech_Female> that this man would <Speech_Female> be more of a disadvantage <Speech_Female> to people like my <Speech_Female> mom I hope <Speech_Female> this gives a slightly different <Speech_Male> perspective <SpeakerChange> on everything <Speech_Male> really does <Speech_Male> thank you Carol, <Speech_Male> and <Speech_Male> hopefully when <Speech_Male> they implement this, <Speech_Male> if they do implement <Speech_Male> this. <Speech_Male> They come up with an easy <Speech_Male> way for people to say, <Speech_Male> just give me the defaults <Speech_Male> if that's what they <Speech_Male> want if they don't <Speech_Male> want to go through and choose stuff. <Speech_Male> But yeah, I <Speech_Male> mean you gotTa have some. "What does the pro give you that the air the new air doesn't there you go. Storage incites the air goes to a Max of two, hundred, fifty, six gigabytes versus a terabyte for the pro and the air only has a ten point nine inch screen and I think I mentioned this in the pre show, but I may not have mentioned it in Dns. 'cause the pro obviously has those bigger eleven twelve point nine inch screens. Ross says I would imagine these are going to be the key differentiator for someone still looking for a pro level device and the pro also has the Multi Lens. Camera, Ray get stuck on the fact that yeah. But the best processor, the best performance but. These are features that are definitive factors for a lot of people. Ross says have a great day from unseasonably and unreasonably warm UK. Thank you Russ. Good stuff. Excellent Ross also thanks Tony. Thanks to everybody who writes into US and gives us good feedback. Also shout out to patrons at our master and grandmaster levels including Dustin Campbell Andrew Bradley and Brad to dis, which is just a cool way to Grad. Also, thanks to Scott. Johnson for being with us today Scott. What is new? Well, tell you what's new actually a quick thing that may matter to artists. The IPAD PRO has one hundred. Twenty Hertz, refresh screen this new IPAD the the new one the air does not. So they opted not to have one, hundred, twenty per three, I, which is good point. Yes. So artists huge deal anyway, lots of cool stuff going on especially over at current chronicles are cool. Eight part series that we just put out. Thanks to the support of many listeners and episode four just landed Tom any thoughts on how we did episode for? We zoomed an enhanced we did. We totally did have you seen a movie lately where you're like man this? It yesterday were they've ventured it. They did they made their own jokes, zoom zooming enhance drip from today's headlines. If you always wondered why movies and TV get it wrong and wondered if we might actually get to what we all want Outta Zealand enhanced, you might be surprised about what we cover.

That would almost be even cooler in my opinion. Well speaking of cool, we want to shatter our patrons that our master and grandmaster levels including Dustin Campbell Andrew Bradley and Palo Jacob also thanks to Justin Robert Young Thanks for bringing in Dr Bird in the pre show, everybody should become a patient and if they want that cool bird action, but well. Better ranked choice. Voting often comes up and I had a great interview with somebody who's done some research on it, not only outside of America, but also how it's worked inside of America and came up with a few unintended consequences that I think a lot of people who talk about ranked choice voting. Might Not Thought, about so go ahead and check it out. It's a the Friday episode of politics. Politics politics excellent also rich. You've got a new video series. What I think this is is a bit of a PR move. Look they are saying that there are hundreds of thousands of accounts are a few hundred thousand accounts that they will cut off right so that is them giving up some amount of money. The questions what they are buying with that money for me. They are buying the idea that they are no longer the monarchy in terms of streaming. We now have legitimate competition. That is moving into more of an oligarchy of for your streaming dollar. And if you are Netflix then I do think that we are looking to get into the a power position of all right. Netflix's is either saving the cost of maintaining like even if these profiles go away and ten months that that that reduces the database load enough that that it helps something more efficient or influence loves to think long term like this if you they may have some numbers that say when we remind people that they haven't been watching Netflix's and we're going to cancel their account. I think it's a bunch of these factors together because if it suddenly like. Hey if people don't know their subscribed in the credit card lapses subscribing but we remind them they're subscribed and they stay. "Oh glad you ask Tom. Sam wrote in and said quick comment about smart fridges. After y'all talked about the L. G. One that was in yesterday's show Sam says I really really do wonder how big the potential market is in Europe. As far as I know most kitchens in Europe have fridges built into cabinets. meaning that they kind of are flush with the rest of the cabinetry so external screens. Don't make any sense here in Belgium. At least almost nobody is interested in fridges. That aren't built in well. I mean you could have a near catch dill. Fill in the cabinet but but it won't fit with the rest of your decor at that point. Do you really want that. I mean some people have the see through cabinets where you can see the glassware. Yes we're in there. So maybe that design. That's a really good point. Sam thanks for bringing that perspective because the these big huge American standup fridges. That were always seeing don't fitted everywhere across the Globe and Sam Sam's right I've I've I definitely know what he's talking about when I do think it's more prevalent in Europe. It's also becoming more prevalent in the. US MOM mom. At least in some you know some fancier kitchens be have the money to buy a smart fridge.
