"I'm not gonna go into all the specifics but dury's totally bent over backwards for me and what far beyond the call of duty and then when i did get it all straightened out and it shows up. What what one of the first things i noticed when i when i got the box was right right there on. This case is a nice sticker. That says juries lifetime guarantee you know that i am so remiss. I have never even mentioned that. I kind of assume that people knew that. But you're right. I forget if you buy a gun from dury's you get a lifetime guarantee with it. I mean if you use guns to but certainly on the new guns so if anything ever happens they were repair it for free. They have a team of gunsmiths. If they can't they're replace it as best they can. And just i mean that can be fifty years from now. That's amazing that yeah and You know. I'm sure there's a rhode river custom shop would stand right behind it but i mean that extra layer of care. There is really valuable really. Is i also like the fact that comes with three magazines. Yeah absolutely so there. You go so what are you. Are you going to carry this. Just you got to use this for. What are you gonna do with twenty five. It is now my carry gun and to put it in perspective. I figured carry. Gun was uh wilson wilson combat at. What another thousand. Fifteen hundred dollars more than that A little bit more than that. But yeah okay. I mean the obvious stupid question you the. Gt twenty-five is not inexpensive. The wilson is is quite expensive and worth every penny. I think it's really great pistol. Why are you carrying the gt twenty five now instead wilson well One ten gives me a little bit more often power. And so if i ever worth they have to use it in a defensive situation Also i think it's just a little bit more controllable because of the push versus. Snap the design behind the trigger. Guard really helps tremendously and the beaver tail. Yes yeah and so. I just find it on a little bit more accurate with it. Also i love the trigger. You already noticed if has a really awesome trigger. And i love that front sight. Yeah the front sites greg out the front and rear sight separately differently. It's not a set. I just i liked each of those and said world if we could get of that that worked out artless. I got to boogie here. But i appreciate you taking time and you to tell me like i say. I didn't prescreened what you're gonna say. I just know that you know guns. So i was curious. putting out something really excellent. Absolutely you take care of my friend. "You owe it to the game to be at your best and so when you're When you are Practicing you have to practice like you're gonna be hunting right and so that's really the key you gotta get in those field positions you gotta get. I get a chair. I have kind of a little chair sitting having a blind. And so i get that same setup and i try to shoot at the actually when it's when when the time's right and it's not too hot out in the woods. I actually had to go put. My seal played out in the woods on the santa hunt. So that i kind of in that environment. And that's a good point of actually having that depth perception and what is it gonna look like in the woods. Yeah absolutely absolutely so. It's those kinda things you got to work out in the shooting. It shooting that gun right at dark Because yeah you can go out and it's easy to your sites good everything else but you go shoot at thirty minutes before sunset actress on saying the wood and the wood all sudden. Oh wait a minute that front black site. I can't even see it anymore. And that's when the game really starting to move so that's when you make a change. Okay i could put a goal bead frontside on gun. So that's the things you've got to work out in the off season. It's a great. That's a great point whether it's hunting or defensive stuff is trying out your your set up in those environments Because yeah iron sights way different deal in that low light and we're talking about low light like the sun's going down in the woods low not nighttime right because scopes will really help gather that light. Extend your shooting ability as far as darkness and the same thing goes for defensive stuff. I remember setting up. I had i had a trick on. This is an old school. I was like rx thirty. Think basically a red dot but like a big red dots. I wasn't an armour tricon. That had the Fiber optic talking about lied or whatever so the dot would get brighter in the sun and dimmer in dark and you can argue. That's really that that actually works. Well i don't need it to be too bright indoors so then on my ar. I put this big monster flashlight on it which probably would be great for for lighting up targets one hundred fifty yards and then one day. I was in my house by myself. I said let me you walk around. And it was as i recall. It was actually daytime but it was a dark day. It was rainy or something. No lights on the house. And i walk down the hall and i hit that light on and as soon as i hit the light it made everything out there. Bright and it still damn where i am and the dot i could not see the dot and you're going oh I haven't tried this at the range. Everything's cool great square. Range is not a good testing ground. It really didn't have to shoot the gun or anything obviously and just you're walking around. Just let me see what this looks like. Same thing we go with your hand guns whether it's a red dot on your handgun or ironsides. Am i gonna be able to use it. And then he ought to put the light on. Is it going to work with the light. Is it going to conflict with what i'm doing exactly well. We talk about night. Majority people by defensive handguns either by with nights or put him on air. How many people actually go shoot at night with them right. Honestly a lot of people don't and how it was. 'cause nightside's aren't flashlights. No they're not bright if you if you woke up in the middle of the night and your eyes were super adjusted the dark they would look pretty bright but besides that i don't yeah you gotta test. It worked yet tested. You know you gotta hold. How's your what's your lights. Setup got tooken hackworth warned class years ago and we did a night shoot. And i'll tell you everything that i went into that shoot thinking for my nighttime set up I totally changed it when i got done because it didn't work. It sounded great on paper but it just didn't work in an actual using situation like that. I think also a lot of times when we think about flat lights and low light every once more light lots more light and then you kind of realize like i'm gonna get away with a lot less like yeah you can. You can actually find yourself. yeah everybody. She's got white walls. Now and enroll light-colored how you shot up thousand lumine light it at five yards on a brick bright wall. It's blinding. i'm blind the bad guy and maybe right exactly. So yeah. it's it's it's it's it's using. This stuff is tested now. read all magazine articles yuan in washington youtube videos. You want but at the end of the day until you go out and actually use it and try it yourself. You really not going to have a good appreciation what works and what doesn't yeah. Yeah i like that. The youtube experts. I always kind of want to respond with but have you tried it. Yeah you know. Whether it's i like or hate this gun or i like or hate this tip or whatever it's like but have you tried this. Have you even shot it or done this this exercise. Oh yeah yeah. It's you know everybody is trying to figure out a way to get noticed. All that they also. It's you see some crazy. There is on what shit which you'd be cool and whatever else because it looks cool right but i kinda tend to go to those guys have been doing it for twenty thirty forty years and enter still alive so it must. It must be okay. Yeah they didn't get were hitting you killed in the streets either jason. Thanks on with us. Man. that's good have. I really appreciate you have me come on. I'll tell you. I'm so excited about this. Ten millimeter pistol. V guys out their own offensive about getting one. Get off get one. There's only five hundred going to be made. It's fantastic value. And i tell you there's not a pentagon we were talking earlier. It's a we call it. Our national parks gun. Yes it's done that you can carry concealed. You can shoot. "Andras your best friends. It guys on read that in the nights. If you're interested in that just on that quickly as some of the work that i do in my spare time. I talk to young people at types about workplace health and safety and one of the things we cover sexual harassment as just thinking about it today. That once was once quoted in the galley by paxil and Put is arms across like this which is quite brazen on a little seventy seven. I like trap me in there and then started making lewd remarks like feel his breath. Another man came in interrupted and sort of came to my aid. And i went to report it to my cabin manager and i said all a coordinated galley and he put his arms across sunny. Just kept saying you have beautiful eyes. You have beautiful eyes and my cabin manager looked at me and said well you do. This is a gay. yes please. Each yearly yearly trading on the dury's the the and then sorry then this passenger as he was getting off the airplane. Hey was like i thought he was just staring at my breasts which was fine considering what he'd already attempted. Nobody was actually looking at my identity card. And so then he found me on facebook and started sending me lewd messages there. So i had to contact and security and i had to contact my other manage. Aw when i contacted my manage on my man and just said well. I don't know just kind of sounds like a flight attendant. Bang hit on by passenger from reporting one mandalay reporting like and just have to keep saying like. Can you consider your response. And then like let's try this again. I'm fearful for my safety. I can get the league legal about unwanted advances out if you wish but i just just share that from the perspective of..

"That's that critical because that's what we're doing right now bringing it into more critical infrastructure which could be great but it also does open up a lot of risk. And that's kind of what we're talking about. So i like that. Thank you with this ransomware. One of the things in your report talks about you know the losses associated with them or the ransoms that are being charged and that people are paying are jumping so yatta stat. At the end of last year to the first quarter of this year it was up forty three percent from one hundred fifty four thousand two hundred twenty seven thousand and that's a lot and i've been following things like the insurance market in. The thinking seems to be that will eventually reach some sort of impasse detente. Maybe is the right way to think of it with some of these these organizations these criminal organizations where will come up with what is basically a reasonable payment will pay and everything will will be okay. And i'm just curious what you think about that or where you think will be headed with ransomware payments. Going ahead probably two answers there. One of them's going to be in the context of the big game hunters the ones that are gonna sit on top of the criminal cartels that they've essentially built the crime layer cartels. The big game hunters will continue to go for the bigger number. Sh seventy million dollar ask right now with the cassia and others like it. I'm sure are going to happen. Where it's not going to be just an organization that's targeted a supply chain attack. The is sort of like a shotgun approach. So you're not going to be extracting value from the one victim. You're going to be extracting value from all of their customers. So there's supply chain attacks and it's also going to be a lot more visible you're gonna get a lot more blowback from it so i think that not every crime organizations to bite off that much that's might be too much for some of them to handle. It's also a lot more investment on their party to getting that far. The supply chain attacks are more complex and are vigor. So i wouldn't be surprised at within the next six months we saw our first hundred million dollar ransom. I just the way that the trend is going I wouldn't be surprised. Then we have the regular market. That i think is going to continue to go and that is just smaller more volume type less sophisticated groups that are continuing to operate. I mean there's this whole market and these names that we talked about the are evil and radio can dark side. they're all just players basically in this big ecosystem. So i think we're going to see the demand is rising as well as the quantity of attacks that are successful. This does not feel like a good place to be. Go i mean. How long do we get this under controller. I mean we obviously can't go along like this or is that just the plan. I think it depends. You're asking i'm asking you chris. Yeah unfortunately i don't drive the plan so if it was my plan to drive i would say more government action and particularly on the political front and applying pressure to this nation states that are affording protections in safe harbors for these criminal organizations to continue operating with impunity by enforcing the law. The international laws that are widely accepted around the world. When it comes to things like this. I think that would at least take care of the big game hunters and then we could allow organizations to continue defending against the affordable threats. We can continue to fund ourselves and protect against the normal day to day things that were expected to defend against but some of these organizations are practically nationstate. they have the same capabilities as a nation state. Okay we're gonna move away from ransomware because well because the report covers some other interesting things. I want to touch on briefly. One is the rise in security cameras as weak points. I i would call it both. The rise and security cameras around industrial settings or even commercial settings and then the other is the fact that these security cameras are often parts of pd networks. That are not highly secure. So they're vulnerable and one. I want to ask what is behind the rise in security cameras everywhere because it feels like very intrusive technology yes so at on the surface especially if we think about the old style security cameras. It's like you know the things screwed onto the wall at the cable behind it. Go until dvr in the back room and just. It's really not like that anymore. Dury's cameras for everything. Nowadays including specially in the manufacturing processes just to move from raw goods to an end product of car manufacturer may create seven hundred and fifty cars a day almost entirely using robots. And they're using lasers sensors pressure sensors all kinds of stuff and cameras as well and they're using them to measure distance measure speed and make sure that something's facing the right direction. So if you look at what's inside how many like ethernet cables alone thousands of them sometimes in like a very small area because there's so many little bits and pieces and parts that are working together to make this automated manufacturing process go so you will find cameras all over the place within the process itself and then also all within the plant obviously the security the people that wanna talk to each other you have other cameras in areas as well outside of the plant itself the parking lots at cetera. And they're not all wired together like the parking lot isn't wired to the factory robot but they do a lot of wireless technologies and even eastern it depending on how they transported. They're.

"Right. Let's shift a little can go. You go a little deeper. You find somebody you really like working with you wanna partner with them you feel like you have complementary and whatever the other word is not complementary skills they work together and you want to formalize this. How do you do that. I mean like how do you decide on a structure. Is it going to be fifty fifty. You need an llc. What's the next step or is it the next well first of all quick disclaimer. We're not real estate attorneys or financial advisor so everything they were sharing over here right. It is just from our experience and there is no secret. Attorney on the side attorney. So it's like one. Formula fits all sorry to break it down but it isn't right so there's so many creative ways that you can come to an agreement or a joint venture or different types of partnerships equity debt. Then it goes on. And on. And i'm sure you guys have podcast. Episodes goes deeper in that the most important thing is like what are the tasks that i'm going to be doing it right away. What is my responsibility. Would our expectations. And i'm requesting you guys to put it down right it would. I'm expecting from the other person who is responsible for what in what are the compensations for that and what happens if that. It's not met one of the most important clause that you can put his if we don't want great here. What do we agree that to happen. Let's say if we don't sell this house are the price the we agreeing to. What if we don't agree to reduction or does rental property with dead and now we. We're not getting along anymore. What is the clause over here for termination or when there is a disagreement because if you get to the point where you are in the midst of disagreement. You don't want anything. You're just liking the midst of that. So that clause will determine okay dury's and we agreed to agree that we're going to follow that. In case of a disagreement that has helped a lot for just say you know what people bring table is his a kind for of like what percent they may get like. I know for one of our first projects where we partnered with one of our first private money partners. He took an active role in the company. We we set up an llc. We were fifty percent. He was fifty percent. He put the fifty thousand dollars down. We put our experience experiencing you know in the market and really in the area that we investing in and he personally audited..

"I said was I beg to differ with Raymond's approached. I exact words. I don't know how somebody misconstrued. That's funny. Terrific art. So he's that's the way people. That's the way diffuse a situation. You're a little laugh out there onto the next one. Right. That tells me that that he's ticked off with trae Mons antics. Of course, he's trying to gloss over it, rightfully so, you know, it's funny because God lights Raymonde Dury on trae Draymond a god-like. Draymond green. Given the night tonight staleness that can creep into an NBA team. That's so dominant as they had been for so long, you need a guy with with jagged, edges every great teams had one the bulls had Rodman. Okay. The pistons had Rodman the pistons had. Jeff back through the bad, boys. Or Sally Johnson was a little bit of that. Well, good call. I was gonna say Sally. I was thinking about John salvia, right? It gets forgotten about two months with pissing teams because he was quiet because he was still pretty early in his wanted the planet a bunch of different spots. John sounds was good dating ain't had that antagonistic role for the Celtics teams was position. More of like, a whiny cry baby back, then, but Danny Ainge was tough. And he got on the skin Jack added for the for the Lakers shack wasn't afraid to flex on your hobbies Li every great team has that. And I think that, but but there's that line of of expert where that that expiration date. Now, I'm not saying that the warriors are there yet. But it seems like Steve Kerr's is getting there at least with Draymond. I mean is kept him afloat. But it might be part of the sink right now. I think I think when when when it works on both ends, then it's worth it. But what he shooting twenty percent. It's not working. I agree. And and they're losing games at home exaggerates a little apathy because you're getting out. Scored. So so it's not working on the defensive side where you're just dominating the paint. And you're forcing bad shots from from the opposing team, and it's Trey Mons doing getting out scored. And so they need someone else to score when deemed tried to take away Katie or Steph sits down or he has an off night or whatever may be used to be that guy. He's not that guy. He's not I sent last week because you have from time to time taking the temperature of the warriors this year, obviously over the course of eighty to you, and I acknowledge again, a little sense of staleness if you wanna use that term, boredom. Lack of focus. Our you want phrase it, and we haven't really been overly alarmed the games. We wanted to see him show up for the most part. And like if it got really bad for the most part they would show that that that rally that resolve is a little different over the weekend. But I do want to play this cut from from Klay Thompson. Because now the fans are apparently a little part of the problem here. Here's Klay I expect crowded. Good morning to do it too. Like, I know was not the playoffs. But is our last go round of oracle. Least you could stand up or someone make play especially beginning, we need that energy. Especially this time of the year is hard to conjure up energy every single night because you're looking for the playoffs now run. So that's clay. You know? I don't love that comment right there from Klay Thompson. Yeah. I love that. Yeah. I'm not. I'm not saying the last go round at oracle. They have a couple of comb games left. But this year they're out. They're heading down to San Francisco right by AT and T brand new facility was sweet. Oh my God. It's gonna chase center. What is it called the chase? What's the name of the remember the name of it? Now. Somebody different names. I think it's something with chance always banks. I went down to the seventy Sixers. It's like J Senator. Thanks, mike. It's like the Wells Fargo. Wachovia Wells Fargo next to Lincoln financial. What's the baseball? The baseball citizens. Jason. Do you got three and they're all right next to each other right there? This is bizarre school able stadiums next. All the yeah. It is very, but it's awesome. Because that's where everybody hangs out. You forget all the point. Is you forget all the names of stadiums. Because they're off banks tried I really don't even care anymore. But anyway, so they're leaving until in one part. Yeah. I agree with Klay. They should be there to celebrate. But also, they're probably pissed. They're not going to San Francisco. I mean. All right. Think about that. Right. From from a locale standpoint. Now, I know a lot of the fans come up from San Francisco, but still misses the different different. I think mentality with this year's warriors. Because there's not that. We're going to do something special in the regular not that. No. And we even talk about it they playing like, they're bored. They don't care. They've lost ten games at home, which is something. They never do right in. And so if they have apathy the plane at home, why should you know, be the ones that have to lift them. That's why I don't like what Klay Thompson said not not to the point where I think it's reckless or irresponsible. But I think he needs to read the room a little bit better. It's your job to to give the fans something to cheer about. And you have it away that most NBA fans will never see for the rest of their life. It doesn't matter. What team you root for? There is a pretty good chance that your team will never to fifty percent of what the warriors have done for their fans. Right. But, but I also acknowledge this because and the civil areas are pretty interesting. I was thinking about this during the break yourself. The warriors won the championship in seventy seventy-five beat the then bullets Wes on sell those guys. Casey Jones was that was before it got to the Celtics, etc. And Rick, Barry, of course, the store that warriors team. So you know, my team the Yankees they went through this regrettable and your team by extension button. We'll separation one thousand nine hundred eighty didn't care about them. But I did. And and the Yankees when they won in seventy eight again, I was too young to to recollect to certainly to recollect let alone in enjoyed or let alone having a chance to enjoy. So the civil areas are striking and and then we went through this long pronounced gap. And then the Yankees finally cut through Ninety-six a right like the warriors when they first cut through. And they didn't bitterly NPR Yankee fans hate when I say this, but I'm just gonna keep it room. I this is the way it was for me ninety seven. Of course, we lost of the south say the Alamo took motif to right field bub-bubba, then they would ninety eight ninety nine two thousand two thousand was a different energy because it was the Mets you had to beat the Mets. And it was it was maniacal. Yeah. Because you never lived that one never live it down the subway series. Like the actual subway series not regular season interleague game. People. Call the subway series. It's not a subway gangs. Brooklyn Dodgers, fifties exactly as giants the old the real subway series. So I'll be able to hold that over the head over the heads of Mets fans for the rest of our existence and I cherish that. It's in my back pocket anytime the little met fan gets a little bit too too big for his britches. But the point being I would be disingenuous if I said that I had that same fervor that that exact replication of energy that I had when they finally won the first championship that I ever saw when they want it ninety six it was different than when they swept the the Padres. I'm sorry. I it just it was different. And that's beginning to happen to warrior fans. Now, you mixing the fact that the logistics of where the play. That might be Robert on the roadway, and I'm sure that there's going to be an emptiness in their soul for what for forever as basketball fans. Yeah. But at least it's at least. This is not like the raiders for their out of state true. Keep it real it. Is you become players become a little content and fans become a little content. They do I I don't know. How patriots fans don't. Maybe there's a different. It's once a week because but that stadium is always lit. It's always on fires his only. Yeah. You know, what I mean, you get eight chances to see the legend Jin's, I should say is true. Players etc. I can't get on the warrior fans. I don't like the Klay Thompson said that warriors need to play better. Again, Friday forces me, not to go too deep into where are they in their evaluation? But it's a story worth watching. There's a little vulnerability there. I think we can all agree on that. Right. Agreed. Little bit aren't coming up next.
