"We'll just make a mistake. A quarterback Fires high and wide on a throw or misreads. A defense or or maybe. Just a fumbled snap that sort of leads to chaos. You know pass rushes can can do a lot to to cause takeaways in in the nfl right now but when you're talking about what it's just so unique because he's one of the few guys who he literally takes the ball away he is. He is elevated this thing to to almost the science and art the ability to force these fumbles. Yeah and a really great point you made. When we did the story last year that stuck in my mind is just how impactful a strip sack is or any kind of forced fumble. Because you're getting the ball where it happens versus an interception. Oftentimes the quarterback is throwing it down field so there is a little bit of a flip in field position but when you force the ball out you get it right there and it can really set up score or obviously in the case of the steelers game it was the game clinching play but a lot of times. It happens in the in the flow of a game. Defenses trying to get an edge. You put your offense in a really great position to score for what this skill of his really started taking off as did his career in his second season. And that's when mike tomlin had him switched sides so he and bud duprey who is in his teammates. Swaps watt headlined. Up mostly on the right side are almost exclusively on the right side as a rookie. But they thought he would be a mismatch against the league's right tackles and the part of that was that he could see. The quarterbacks is better because of the way that quarterbacks drop when they're right handers and he could bat passes down and he could see the football. When was rushing which allowed him to go after the ball a little bit more. He also which i think is interesting in this. Larger conversation about turnovers used to be an offensive player..

"Regard this season they had to espn stats and information. This is interesting. The most second-half drops by any team since they've been charting the statistic of since two thousand six Najji harris alone dropped four passes in the second half but that was on that on that fourth down everybody was up on the line and he correctly guessed that they would drop back right and when you drop back into a picket fence zone. Which is the bengals did they. You know they dropped the four guys back with jim. Swartz used to do a lot on third downs and they guard the first down marker the play call a lot of times the right play called there is some sort of like screen or something to busted up and the the i think the decision was actually sound. Because what you wanted to do was get nashi harris with a head of steam running at that picket fence coverage and you wanted your offensive linemen to get off their blocks to get ahead of him. That was the plan it was. It was executed horribly like it went very wrong but i agree with his point which was what like what else he said afterwards. He wished that in hindsight he would have taken a shot but he said it in a way that like. I don't think i would have been able to do anything right. So what is the higher percentage. Play there to try to smash nausea hairs into A a pick zone. Or if you're ben rothlisberger to like cut waffle in the backfield slowly for a little while and then just missile one ten yards downfield. I don't know the answer to that. But typically against picket zone coverage a screen is like the call. That's what you would want to do. And so that was like a very poorly thought out very poorly executed like pseudo screen in that in that regard. I'm side with gary On this one. But i will remain calm and give it a chance. Qatar summation of the column. And so don't agree with that. You know you disagree with holy smokes. I'm over two. So 'cause i basically summarized my chiefs column earlier. Jenny called an interesting. Which is you know. One of the most dangerous insulted her vocabulary. Very kind wonderful person and then straight out disagree with this one. Like i don't know i better check my employment status but i will say this. The result today has sparked a lot of takes about. Should we have been talking about ben all along the steelers decision to stick with him. And i think that's fair on some level but it will also say a loss offensive lineman in game which certainly didn't help them on plays like the one we're just describing and also they were down both. Tj watt and alex. Hightower this is after losing bud duprey in the off season and certainly their defense has looked a lot different with what out so i think the last game and a half since what has been sidelined. They haven't had one of their biggest chances to win. Which is one of the best defensive players in the nfl. so i think it's too early to be making definitive conclusions on the steelers. Either way.

"Here so my question is I've been training for marivan here in just about finished up with a each week program in just looking for a little advice on Once i'm done with that. I want to switch into More of a heavy lifting program I bought a couple of your programs just looking for a little bit vice on the transition from a heavy cardio into lifted. This is a fun transition. Do it's great. Because if you do this right will you'll notice is just muscle game and strength You know kind of come on your body and you shouldn't gain really any body fat and in fact you may notice that you actually getting leaner as you're building muscle so it's a really fun transition very different feeling than being an endurance athlete. So the which you said you had programs of ours. Which ones do you have I have anabolic in aesthetic. I got the skinny guy. Bundle who prey. I've i've never been a big weight. Room guy My whole life. So that's the place to start. Go maps anabolic. Starting pre face do duprey phase for about four weeks three foundational workouts a week. "To week. One of the nfl. The mega pod. Here matt brown brad allen stephen andrews and we cannot be more excited about week one here. This is something. I reel off season. We've had in a couple of years. We do have a little bit. Preseason data to go off of and little bit of what these guys might look like a season gets going a little bit more normalcy. They're still going to be. Some weird stuff happened throughout the season. Hopefully we'll be on top of that for you guys as well but man. This is something. I've been waiting for forever. Brad so glad to have you back on the pod this year and i know you have been counting down the days here for kickoff of the nfl season. Two thousand one. The year this is. This is the most prepared i feel in a few years. I share it. Ju just because logo summer so being spent the last six weeks grafton away and foreign invest in so hopefully have some useful information to share steven yeun. I've been doing some of the off season preview stuff here. Hopefully all the all of that work will actually come to fruition here. But look futures. Don't mean anything now. This is a week to week game this. We're gonna be talking about here on this podcast. Hopefully we can translate some of that information into some winning best for us man. I cannot wait. We're taping this on a thursday. We got the thursday night kickoff tonight between the box and the cowboys. It feels like christmas morning. I cannot wait to talk about this entire slate of games. We've break broken down every single aspect you can think of. We're not just size and totals talk about some props along the way if we don't have a strong opinion on the side or total. Let's do it man. I'm excited so let's kick things off here with the first game of the podcast. It is the cardinals at the titans as we sit right now over on bet. Mgm it is three in favor of the titans as we look across the board. It is three across the board right now now. This one has moved guys. We know this We've seen this total mu. The line here moved from two and a half to three. I saw just yesterday on multiple occasions. This thing bounce back down to two and a half backup to three back down to two and a half backup to three so there's been some action on this game. Maybe a little bit of disagreement kyla murray goes on the road to the titans. Hopefully fully hopefully fully healed. If we remember kyle murray was putting up some serious numbers last year until he hurt that shoulder. Not only did. His production goes down at the way. That this offense functioned really went down as well. He was hesitant to run because he didn't want to get hit and if he's not using his legs than how this offense is designed and really things went to hell for this cardinals team after that. Of course the big news for the titans is in the off season. They go and they bring in. Julio jones to to help bolster this offense core davison out of town. But i think that anybody would say. This is probably an upgrade over corey. Davis even add julio's advanced age. They bring in bud duprey as well on the defensive side to nico autry as well to help. Bolster some of that defense..

"Is up jack. If what you're doing even works you will be strangers. And she'll be damn handcuffs meant to be meant to be. It's not an say change your mind. I guess there's not all right and now they're punching each. Oh now there's flesh on flesh. That's mushroom flesh. This is i really. I really like this scene. Maybe a hot take is. I'm not a big fan of the fistfight. I i how come i think. It's because like dame the way damon vocalizing scripts finally jack and sawyer fighting each other. But part of me is just like with the journey characters. I'm like. I don't know if you've really need this. You know. did we stop down by the way. Did we pause in the scene to determine once and for all which one is taller winging sawyer have we didn't i didn't take a look personally but i don't know they're also on elevated greta. Why you wanna see who's taller. Yeah do do. We need to break out the ruler. In this moment we need to. Let's let's measure up a hatchlings For next week's feedback we really wanna find out. Who's taller between jack and sawyer big scene for sawyer in particular. Remember this is the guy who had to have kate pull his letter out and read it in front of him to find out who he truly was. He opens up to jack about his story. That is giant. That is huge for him. We've talked about all the steps that sawyer has but the fact that he's able to sit down with jack and is like hey. This is my tragic back story shows. Not only the comfortably he has with. J what jack ability. He has with himself that the country ability. He has with the decision overall. That he can't do. Anything is going to invoke his uncle here. Say what's done is done. And i think it really just shows how far sawyer has come true. Sawyer is to himself in this moment that a man who shrouded himself in mystery and mccheese mo and being a self deprecating asshole that by the time he arrived in the island for years has now gone away to show the confident james for that. Yes yeah duprey sheet. That he's like jack. If this works like cates like going to go to jail that's what you want. This isn't good. And i think like if i have an issue with the finale i think started talking about this a little bit last time. It's like i think there are people who are like going to get on board with this mission a way that like. It's not in their interests like these people like what are their. What's their life lifelike. Ask landing in los angeles if everything goes the way that it goes not great specifically for caitlyn. That's really really really bad. So i appreciate like sawyer. Giving some voice to that with j. I love love. Love the line. I don't speak destiny. I do understand that. A man does what he does because he wants something for himself. That speaks to something. We've been talking about with characters. Like lock like ben including with jack that there are no altruistic characters on lost. Even someone like jacob right there is no all good character that despite these people acting for what they say are bigger purposes that the island demanded this. It's destiny it's truly for selfish reasons. They are shrouding themselves in the greater. Good when really. It is for their own personal data. And i think sawyer is really speaking to that matter here is going to catch up with jack right of being clearly. You want to reset things because you really screwed up. Jack is going to do also really like the words. I had her and i lost her. That counters really nicely with the flat. The jack flashback as well another reason why this is great placement is because we get to see jack nearly lose a patient and i think him using that term here is really unique so i i think it's a really meaty scene between these two guys and as i mentioned before a big confirmation that the transition is fully in effect jack has become the man of faith sawyer has become the man of science and again it makes me feel like we don't necessarily need this fight though. I guess we never technically got one between jack and locke so. I guess they wanted to see it happen here. Yeah i can see it. Like i definitely. I definitely get like why why the show feels like this is going to be like an immensely satisfying thing for us. And i don't think it's like unsatisfying and part of me is kind of like. I'm glad that somebody like. I am glad that like sawyer gets to kick jax asks a little bit here like i do. Think it's probably fair. Jack has not been the nicest guy that this guy along over over the years. And i think like you're ruining my life. Why like the least he could do is get a couple fair though to be fair. Jack is gonna get a nice ball kick in on sawyer or was it the get the one. I think that. I think you've got it right. I'm not sure doesn't really tall. White guys wearing army uniforms juliet's going to step in and stop it and say we have to do this and sawyers if what you told me to come here and stop them. She's like yeah. Well i changed my mind. And there's flashback. Scene in the middle of this of juliet with rachel and learning about their parents divorce and how. This isn't their fault when you're growing up you understand. She doesn't wanna understand just because people love each other doesn't mean they're always meant to be together is the message that she takes home here. And so i guess what like because her father looks like sawyer in the scripts were trying to like Like some sort of deep seated complex. That juliet has had this whole time. That we're just learning about now will love it now. I don't think. I love this scene to be honest. I really don't josh. This is probably the scene. I like least in the episode because when sawyer asked juliet what made you change your mind. Here that that that thundering in the distance the love quadrangle as stampeding. It's way back into the loss finale. Josh they seem to imply the reason why. Juliet wants to set off. The bomb is because she feels like my happiness is over. He's still loves kate. If we just nuke it all to hell then you weren't land here in my heart went and get broken in the first place. Yeah so okay all right. I don't love it. I love it i love it. Studio notes. feels like or just like fundament- fundamental misunderstanding.

I i don't know if that would i don't know if ed we let that happen. I don't know hands on without wings. Listen you're not ashamed to admit the. I'm ashamed to admit that i told like seven different people the full story of wing nuts this weekend and just how good wings were. I was on d.c. Radio at noon on friday. And they asked me a question about like What do you think about sam israel. He's out with a concussion. You think that he's going to be able to step in that third tight end raw and i was like let me tell you a little bit about wing nuts buffalo and on like a five minute unprompted diatribe about how great is wings. Were so yes. I do hope that they get their own place. I had people hit me up being like dude where they really that good. Stop everything you're doing. They're fucking better than i went out to dinner last night at a bar that i know has great chicken wings here in town and i looked at him and i got like a not in the i can't order these wings. Wing nuts ruin chicken wings. Yeah because yeah. I can't have a another wing i would actually say like. I'm not a religious person. I think religion is kind of a crock of shit but i i understand now why people like see the light because that's what wing wingnut system to me like you could see me being crazy person sitting outside of madison square garden being like have you observed your sins and have you eaten it wing nuts dude if churches had wings them. I would go all the time. So i get i get it. People just got grass in line. It's kind of a crock. Shit i lose you lose yourself religion. I've lost myself in wingnut. we're the same. Were the same people when it comes out speaking of religion. I think billy may have seen the light this weekend. I'm gonna take my family and hike up through mexico and go through all kinds of danger to try to get myself in a better place. And i don't care what the liberals or the conservatives say about a wall or whatever. I'm trying to get here and go through what i gotta go through to take. I do not blame these people for doing what they do. I do blame the politicians for jacking with them. And and it's it's it's wrong but some of them are gonna make some money so yeah and that's really and they should have kept us from. I would argue from from deflating. You know because we've from birth to death rate. We've we've been negative here recently. You know and so the the only thing keeping us positive from population growth is immigration. You need to about three more kids. And that's that's the problem. We've we've discussed this on this show. Is that the whole. You're the problem the incentive incentive to have more children like the cost versus what someone else cray-4 figured it out. Yeah all right. But this last piece and i think is rather interesting And this this is where the real risk lies. Because what you saw. And what we've discussed in the past is that. Yeah when you set the unemployment insurance at x. level where it's fifteen dollars an hour and a company like mcdonald's we're gonna stick with mcdonald's as the example. They raise their wage to fifteen dollars an hour. Well to your point tom am. I gonna go back and work in mcdonalds for fifteen dollars hour or am i gonna sit on my butt at home for fifteen dollars an hour. See i gotta get out and do something. I just can't understand these people that think sitting around is actually a wow. I'm beating system sitting on my butt. You know listen to youtube. All or whatever i'm listening. How the hell do you think that's a smart thing to do. I just don't get it. I'd rather be dealing with the guys down here at mcdonalds. At least i'm talking to somebody you know i mean come on. And that's the thing is you know you couldn't take you look at just the average humans arcologies though and there's a a decent chunk of people that are who obviously there's not an half million of them out there somewhere that are like well you know. I'd rather sit because now to beat that. Get get get you back to work. You have to offer more incentives than just equaling the pay. Let me tell you something. If you sit around for a month and then try to go back and relate to people can't lost your edge you have lost. I mean it's going to take a while to get back to where you even can relate to talk to somebody. Yeah a heck. I hard time with doing it from one night in bed. So this this is where it gets real interesting. Though so higher pay is good for the economy until it isn't so the worry. The company's past the cost of rising wages on consumers who then demand higher wages driving prices higher steel and so it creates a wage price spiral. And i think you know in that and then this could spell difference between inflation that is transitory inflation. That isn't You know so that's where you you have to To assess the risks of something. Like that you know and that's something that we've been looking at for quite some time know. It's kinda crazy. I i don't know it would take a lot longer than we've got to really describe it but we have to have reignition of the human imagination because most people do not think very highly of their future and That disease and it has to change. People have to have an imagination about what they're doing and think good things about their future that would lead them to want to do things that could affect their future instead of having their future dictated to them. Yeah i think that's spot on. I think the american dream is transition to almost the american nightmare in some instances has but that's always a possibility when you take that risk of forming a country so well and it seems like the The generation that really had the zest for life was the generation that went through the war and they knew how bad things could be and they really appreciate the opportunities that came after the war. "Today there's no reason to delay all right so we're onto the traditional division preview stuff that we've been doing throughout the summer here We're gonna look at biggest aussies editions among veterans and rookies Most valuable non quarterback and most interesting head or assistant coach in the afc south. I'm sorry biggest. Off season edition veteran and jenny. Why don't you start us off here. Well i picked bud duprey. And i'm interested to see how this acquisition goes. I think it could go a couple ways. You could say that the titans overpaid for what has been a glaring need and their defense to get an edge rusher or it could be the piece that they really needed. Duprey obviously was a fantastic compliment. He in tj watt were tremendous book ends and the steelers defense. He's coming off the torn acl from last season and began camp on the pup list. So we'll have to see how he eases back in. His availability is like earlier in early in the season but the titans gave him a big contract perhaps surprising how big it was given that he was coming off a serious injury but i identified it as the biggest offseason addition. Not because. i'm sure how it's going to go. But because it was a significant move and a lot depends on it for the titans. No it's it is really interesting that they signed him coming off the acl because it seems like the titans need immediate help there. And i mean yes. He is going to Probably be on the field week one but will he be full shrank and just even without the injury. He's just a really interesting guy to take a chance on here because yes very productive across from tj watt. he really I mean his his development has been like almost exponential since since his rookie year when he was kind of. Okay and he's do you believe there's more room to go before he hits the ceiling. Obviously the titans do giving him the kind of contract that they gave him but That'll be that'll be interesting because they are in pretty dire need of a pass. Rush there In tennessee with the way they had to completely redo their secondary. Yeah i mean there was a lot of institutional sort of messages on that On that titans defense to the point where it wouldn't allow them to run anything that they wanted to do. Schematically you know when you have coordinators like they do. Who want to run this amoebic aggressive. Sort of pressure defense. You're going to need the right people in there and i think as jenny's report on the steelers defense in the past so much of dupree's instrumental to other people being able to do their roles and so i think that that's a that's a big addition there. I think that fixes a couple problems you know. And i will say as i start to laugh. Preemptively when. I was filling out my answers for these. I was like oh my answers so generic and expected and straightforward. But i guess that's just the way it goes but connor was kind enough to definitely Provide the counterbalance here on these connor. Why don't you go ahead and give us your your big off season addition among veterans. Here i would say cameron johnston the punter. He's saying the of the houston texans. Because who who else could it be used as much as he is this year. This offense is gonna be horrible..

"Of just kind of reporting on every single atlanta -treme news and he's done a great job of covering them and i just wanted to give them a quick shout out because that's where i've been getting a lot of my inside info. You know reporting all of that so he deserves his flowers on that. But what is kind of like the next steps for atlanta right now like candidates. They have a darius taylor who stepping up now like. How do they sort of regroup for this. I could have the season. The second half just needs to be all like just let the young players play. It's this isn't a season where you're obviously. You're not competing for a championship. That's i think that's pretty clear. I don't even think if if i was if i was in a management position there. I don't even think i'd wanna be competing for a playoffs spot at this point like it's just it's not gonna do you any good in the long run to try and make a run at a playoff spot and get in the back end of the first round and just get killed by someone so i think it's just like let the young players play figure it out. Let like let everything settled down. try again. We don't know if the suffolk kennedy carter. I like how what actually happened. But you know. Let her get her role like let her be ken. Kennedy carter and let ari mcdonald. Barry mcdonald and have candidate super. I feel a candidate. Pres almost going to be like a second coach. Like helping darius taylor like a coach on the court and like in the locker room claire coach exactly like. I don't wanna equate this too much to the nba. But like almost like you. Donnas has lem kind of role obviously candice. Dupree is a better will provide much more value on the court. That new donnas has lem does. Let me tell you right now. I don't want to disrespect duprey at all in that way but in terms of like veteran presence. That's what she will kind of be like kind of be the player coach there. So i think it's it's not a lost season. There's no lost season when you have young players like candidate carton area mcdonald but it just let them develop. Let's focus on development focus on the future and just punt the punt. Any idea you have trying to make the playoffs this year. Yeah that's such a funny comparison hiring but yeah. I mean i'm it's always a little bit disheartening. To see you know just a lot of things happen with an organization like that you always want the best for them. And i think that's a good idea. Just don't focus on making the playoffs in the second season. Just focus on getting your locker room right. Focus on getting you know everyone right. Make sure everyone knows what their role is. And what what. They're what your goals are moving forward And so. I think that's a pretty good place to wrap this up locked on women's basketball. Has you covered throughout the week. "And use that matter to you. That's odyssey a u. d. a. c. y. Okay so a lot has happened in atlanta over the past. You know what. I don't even know how much time will season i was gonna give time for him but there really isn't a timeframe while start with the most recent news which happened today. Which is that they've signed. Wnba veteran candice dupree do pre was waived of from the seattle storm. A couple of weeks ago and everyone was kind of like what's going on But it's reported that the alleging have picked her up Head coach areas. Taylor who will get into later Said that he was excited to be reunited with candace after coaching. Her in college campus brings championship experience. Professionalism any great basketball. Iq to our team. She will add scoring depth instability. Our post play. We are excited to welcome future. All famer candidates to the atlanta dream quite a statement. Bradshaw what do we think about the signing. I think it's nice that he mentioned this ability to the post play i think the majority of this signing is purely for the first part which is veteran leadership and locker room presence especially after all the rumors. I don't we don't and again we don't know for sure what happened. At least i don't know for sure what happened and their locker room but obviously there were rumors of that. You know that there was a bit of a an altercation. An argument in their locker room Before the before the break. And maybe i. It's a young team like atlanta. I think most teams w are relatively young but like teams near the bottom are relatively young atlanta. You know lead by two younger players. they need a veteran presence. And i mean it's hard. It's hard to find anyone better than that than kelsey kelsey degree. My goodness sorry. Candace duprey. it's hard to find anybody better for veteran leadership. That's just free on the market to get so. I mean i. I'm sure she'll play. I'm sure she'll play some. I don't i don't think she would sign there. There was an expectation that she would play a little bit But i think this is mostly to get her in the locker room and like. Hey all i've been in the league along ask time all right. Let me let me show you. let me show. y'all how it's done. Let me show you how to be professional. Let me show you how to like. You know just win at a win at the professional and like just calm them down a little bit and just show them like hey like i. I know what i'm talking about. You got eating. Y'all to listen to me so i think it's a good sign thing. I think it's something they need. I i was. I wasn't surprised the storm. Let her go like they didn't really have a role for her There they are going to be good regardless no offense to debris but they're going to be good regardless But i i'm sure they'll i'm sure the the the dream will is it. She brings much needed Veteran presence. I know she'll give them some on-court stuff too but it's mostly for the locker room. I think i'm with you on that. I think that's something that this team you know. They've been in there rebuild in with everything that's been going on. I think they do need a voice like that in their locker room. And i think that it's a good signing in that sense. And then like i mentioned before the atlanta dream do have a new coach now. They were mike peterson. Step down because of health reasons. And he's going to be replaced by scenarious. Taylor like i mentioned before mike peterson so he said that for health seasons that wnba season will not allow him to adequately address. He's decided to step down from his coaching duties with the team. They all the players had like really nice things to say about him But what do we think about this like what's going on here. I feel like it was just a situation where he wasn't. Maybe he just wasn't ready for it. He just wasn't like he. He had to step in because nikki. Colin left so orla left so surprisingly going to baylor So i feel like it was something he like. He took on the opportunity. But it wasn't maybe something. He was fully ready for at this time. I don't want to speculate too much. I don't want to speak for him but again it doesn't sound like it was an issue of the players. Didn't respect him or you know like he was doing a bad job. I know they weren't great when he was there. But it's not like the roster he had was very good anyway so i feel like it was just i. I don't think he's lying when he says it's for health reasons. I think you just. It was a little bit more than he could handle at this time. Yeah and he is moving into a role in the front office so like you said before. There's i don't think there's any sort of bad blood or anything there at all since he still with the organization But it's definitely been quite a busy day. Like i feel like i'm just getting news after news so i did want to shout out spencer nausbaum a who. You can follow on twitter at spencer underscore. Who's been doing a great job of just kind of reporting on every single atlanta -treme news and he's done a great job of covering them and i just wanted to give them a quick shout out because that's where i've been getting a lot of my inside info. "You have melvin ingram. The former pass rusher for the chargers he signed with pittsburgh. The pittsburgh steelers so he'll be going to pittsburgh. I do like the move for pittsburgh. I think they definitely needed to address the pass rusher situation. Obviously you know they lost by duprey you know. They needed somebody to replace that. And i you know. Obviously melvin. Ingram is definitely older than bud duprey and you know he does have an injury history so there is that is something to keep an eye on. When you're you know looking at the defense. Listen i think when it comes to the steelers defense you know. it's going to be one of the defenses. Taking on one of the first defenses taken off the board as usual. i mean. There's still going to be a sack machine And that's definitely something that a lot of fantasy players are going to want. I think the problem with the steelers is obviously their secondary. And you know they do need help at the cornerback spot. I believe you know. Obviously they make fitzpatrick. And you know he's just. Starting joe haines getting older You know so. The the secondary is really. What's going to be the problem for the steelers defense. So you know. We'll see what happens with that. I do like the signing. As long as he stays healthy you know could definitely help the steelers out. And also vince williams the middle linebacker for the steelers. He announced his retirement. So the series. You're gonna look to fill that void You know in the linebacking core. But really i think the major problem with the steelers is going to be there or an issue is the secondary i think. Really what the problem is going to be. i think. of course they're seven gonna be fine Like i said melvin. Ingram stays healthy. This defense is going to be really good. So i think really. There's i mean. I think the steelers defense is still going to be. One of the first defense is taken off the board..

"Of of what happened here. Yeah absolutely and i will tell you that the n. Actually thought they were trying to make him make for sam to make the decision for them I surprised on one hand But not because they did eventually do what i thought they would do. but You know they knew they had to do something with that salary. Cap hit but wanting Feeling that they were in position to move on from him With all the changes they were make gang or thought they were going to have to make a turns out some of those they didn't I'm certainly not surprised that he's back. I expected that all along. But i have to admit that i was a little surprised that there was some hesitation. I always thought it would be. Ben would go out on ben's terms and nobody else is in for a while. It looked like it looked like it wasn't going to be on his terms. What did you make their off-season in pittsburgh. Well the funny thing is is. They fought a lot of the changes. Were going to be on offense and not on defense. They thought you know maybe ben was going to be gone. They knew they were going to move on from james conner. They thought you to sniff Shuster would be gone. They knew markey's pouncey was going to retire. And of course that happened and did move on from james connor but the funny thing is is a lot of their changes. Dan ended up being on defense. They lost three starters They kind of anticipated that might happen with duprey. And maybe even Mike hilton but now you throw in retirement. Yesterday of vince williams. You know a guy that they had released after season decided to bring back just to kind of plug that hole for one more year and then he retires on them. So i think their offense Yeah there's a lot of changes. They weren't counting on david decastro moving on from him. That was injury related So the changes on the offensive line. They kinda somewhat knew that was going to happen. But they didn't plan on castro so some of those changes they counted on sunday. Didn't i think they're better offensively. I think there are a little a little less Ferocious on defense. Let me get a quick hit on the other teams in the division. Let's start with the bengals. What do you expect well. Until they show that they can move up to be a five hundred ballclub. I'll wait and see it's kind of like the browns two years ago. The browns at the show me they could do it again and they did But i i mean. I like joe borough. I think he's going to be fantastic quarterback. I hated to see the injury last year. Hate to see that happen to any kind of promising young star. I think they'll be better. But i mean i think. The browns are legit and ravens. The ravens the ravens are very much like steelers. Even when you don't think they're going to be very good they're good that's just that's a salute our organization. But there's no reason to think look. I'm not going to sit here and pronounce. The steelers are going to super bowl. But as i tell everybody. Dan i mean who would have thought they'd start eleven and last year who thought they'd go twelve and four and win the division. I can tell you not too. Many people certainly around here and my feeling has always been as long as you have number seven you not out of any game and you're not out of its jerry great to talk to you and hopefully we'll catch up with you during the season we appreciate your time ya dan anytime a good to chat with you business. "He said kevin johnson had been moving from his natural right guard. Because of the presence of dave decastro would to castro's with decastro release datsuns future at right guard. I'm i'm going to my me to answer. I want get i go ahead. My answer is i think they're going to keep him at left guard. Because trade turner is a natural right guard and what he's played his career. And i think dotson is fine either way but i don't know that that set in stone i think all let's just say this i didn't have this as one of my five because i had other things that are more important but this would be one of those training camp questions that we would get that. It'll work itself out in training. Camp is dot dot dots moving to the right with with turner or something else that the left or are they gonna put turner and where where to. Castro wasn't keep dotson where they wanted to. Because honestly i could see dotson and szucs working well together a battery while again. I don't know so that's just one of those things that you know. They're going to figure it out. I i was right. Where you were with that one I think that dotson has more swing to his game than he had to have. He played a rocky play both last year. Yes so I could see if it worked out. He would stay at left guard and let trae turner play the right guard. But yeah that's why we go into me. That's why we have training camp. That's where we figure these things out. I can't remember who brought this up if it was another commented on the website or if it was jeffrey benedict comments of an article but the issue brought up where someone was criticizing kinder- green for only playing only having four games at center last year. Okay here's the deal. Kendrick green could play center or guard. I i need to look up. Who the name. There's another lineman for illinois. Who's going back this year. That was also a very good linemen. That could play center. Who could play guard but not as good as guard is what kendrick green offered so the question is do you get your two best lineman out there and even the one of them even though greed might have been the better center he was just by far the better guard in order to get them into positions. That's what you do. And that was that situation so some people that are like oh kindergarten didn't pay enough so it's that's why it's because of trying to get your best players on the field. It didn't mean that he couldn't do it anyway. Let's go to the next one. We've got steel dog. Eighty eight five bucks tip jar. Thank you very much you says love. The signing of ingram adds depth and will allow for rotation to keep guys fresh. That's exactly what we're saying there to get into that rotation but now instead of that you know i mean you had a nice rotation last year but now instead of that rotation guy being you know having to veterans and our rookie. Now you got to veterans and a second year guy. So you know we're really. If you think about it you could see some improvement me. I want to say better balance in the rotation. Yeah yeah exactly. Yeah that's that's exactly what what you need because even last year sometimes it seemed like well it was high smith on the one side for duprey but sometimes for what it was it. Was you know a dehnieh. Or you know. And they've done that in the past where they've rotated or j. row now he was around and stuff like that. Were kept the rotation. But one of the things. Jeffrey benedict pointed out is income can play both sides. You really can't get a good..

"Have a a rumor tracker on the website, which is just keeping tabs of all the rumors around the NFL and with the steelers players might be getting released or cut. There's only one steeler so far that there's been a source report that they are gone, and that is another in twos are skipper a brook prior espn cited a source said that skipper was told he will. Be Cut Alive Times the steelers will tell the players early to give them an opportunity to get a head start on finding another home but skipper has not mentioned at all this entire training camp. You've never heard his name Tomlin never refers to him. Even Bud DuPrey TJ Watt Keith, Butler, whenever they were interviewed. No one ever talked about skipper. They talked about highsmith. They talked about each other in terms of watt talked about debris. No one ever brought up skipper. Keep that in vacuum line

"Question is does anyone know how to tell an echo dots second-generation from an echo dot third-generation? I'm hoping there's something tactile well. We had a couple of people chiming in there and fantastic. Thank you for doing that. Christine Duprey haller and says the dot three is covered by a fabric and the dot to would feel plastic and that is absolutely true so the the second generation dot has a plastic side where the third generation dot is covered by a fabric type and then James Jury said the second generation is smaller shaped like a hockey puck and the third generation is sort of swollen around the jets putting it and would feel more like a plastic donut. And that's exactly right as well so bottom line. The big differences are the second generation. Has Plastic feel around the side it really is essentially shaped exactly like a hockey puck whereas the third generation has a fabric coating and it is more rounded on the edges. That's the difference between the second and the third generation. Thank you for your comments Christine and James and thank you for the question.

This is going to be tip one of five tip series here on the show going to be talking about my reason theory, which is to radically educate and share ones narrative, it's all the secret sauce behind the copier warriors cold outreach where I'll share the method behind my madness tip. One is all about the R E stage of my reason theory, which is to radically educate the idea to my cold outreach. Is that most people all do it the same? So the idea of having an attitude of radically educating those that you're conversing with will help you to have the mindset and the mentality in order to change the game. The other piece of the puzzle is is that my radically educate portion typically involves I. Which piece unless you're nasty are someone that's just on the phone at all times. It's pretty easy to create an execute on a first touch piece before calling to set the appointment with your prospect. When I talk about a first touch piece made a couple of different things. It can be a written document something that's printed, something that's manufactured as a marketing piece can be video. It's a lot of different ways to do this. But the idea and the mindset behind it as that it's simple. It's humor there's energy. We're creating curiosity with his touch piece. A good example of this will be my crumbled letter. It's a letter that's pre crumpled for the customer in the content inside literally tells the customer that we both know ninety percent of the sales garbage you get as just that. So pre crop us letter to make it easier for you to throw it away when you're reaching out to a prospect, putting a little bit more extra effort in energy in love behind that I touch it causes them to think different about you. And so create that cause and effect. Thank of meeting your best friend for the first time or connecting with Kendra. Spirit. The idea here is to be yourself into wear it on your sleeve proudly. So remember that within the first touch or Shen of my reason theory that interim marketing pieces are important, whether it's the crumpled letter or just the premise of your phone call is different than anybody else. The idea here is to change the game in Khasi prospect, having awakening end to think that maybe just maybe this salesperson is the one that I want to buy
