"Almost you. Poppy centuries so what was the questioning. It looks like things or is this more of a combination of things. I always say i was talking about on my podcast and i think every decision i make about. My business always comes back to this. Which is there is a million easier ways to earn a living in being a writer. Like if you go into writing because you want to earn lots of money than you should just be an investment banker. this is not for. this is not the easy path. So i think. First and foremost it has to be creatively fulfilling for you and it certainly is for me. You know i just. I like leap down the stairs every morning. Solve excited to conserve computer in created things. And you know. I think i think that's really a lot of that is at the heart of what we do like. I said the bundy's noise and there is an element of we have to be. We're businesswoman as well so we have to about our writing is a business and so we look at what goes up. What goes down. You know what's what's doing well. Should we do more of that. You know so. There's an element of business in there and again. It's it's it's often upheld. The rita's it's all about you guys. We just wanna make books that you've known for me. It's a little bit of both as well. Because i've always wanted creative freedom to the time and space to right and so from the first i my my sort of goal or measure of success wasn't to hit a bacillus or to be a household name. What i wanted was to make enough money just enough money to actually be able to be a writer so didn't have to make echo beating beans on toast every night but if it was enough to if there was enough that i could be a writer. That was my major. And that's actually nearer shifted. As long as i can be at rice. You know everything else is a bonus you know the bacillus they lovely and you know lots of sales lovely but my measure of success is being able to be a writer just being able to support myself with my writing and i think that's actually been a really grounding force in my life i've been able to make decisions and say no to things that wouldn't have gone with my creative vision because even if it would have made like a lot more money and so yeah i feel you know i feel at peace with that and and i feel really privileged that i am able to be a writer because i know so many writers who are just beautiful wordsmiths but they just haven't found their readers and so what steve said about the readers and having that connection with rita's who who love what i right. I mean that's the other pillar on which i stand so yeah that's for me. That's a and i agree with both of you. I'm for me as well. Cases of Cove it that's the lowest number since but mid June 2678 now remember on Ah Sundays and Mondays, so the reporting would be there. When the report comes out. It's Terry lower numbers because of Less people going for tests on a weekend, but still that is, that is very good. That's the second a row that we've had less than 5000 cases, again, lowest since the middle of June. Chastity rate. "I wrote for the undefeated last night. What should be posted shortly or now that? Don't Tony in basketball. You learn on the playground. Your kid winter has the court is going to a beat until Jordan giving kick. He didn't care that he walked away. Like he didn't WanNa walk away like Elway we could you know could have just said I'm old. I'm done but that wasn't it. He was like let's it up. Let's go let's play. Let's do it again. And he is so when they asked that question. When Jason asked that question last night of Jordan And I'm sitting watch with my family. I said Oh no no. No He's going to say no. I'm not fulfilled. No I know the answer to that question. 'cause I've asked it and I've had it I mean I've had I've been on the other end of that a little quick which is no we should have played again. It's only the the conditions were ripe for the balls to win a seventh because that was ninety nine was a season shortened by lockout the only play fifty gangs and then start the season February fifth so Jordan have had seven months off to to sort of recharge just Jordan but Phil and they would have had gotten Scotty back or if they let them go and they signed and free agent or sign and Trade Krause at that point was obsessed with Tracy McGrady. Who let's face it. Tracy McGrady was a young version was a two point. Zero version of Scotty Tracy at six eight was a wing. Who could do all the stuff? Toronto hadn't figured out what to do with him. They never did and the four years he was there and so- Scotty might have been might have to pay day and then they would have had to retooled a little on fly with with with Tracy McGrady by their coach was a full-fledged dude who won three championships. He wasn't the rookie anymore. And so if you could bring them back you hurt that Antonio was the first time in one because San Antonio doesn't have will perdue and have Steve Current which provided a lot of their depth. But they did have Robinson at Dunkin And that's a that's a problem. We know they went five or their own sort of one six th same championships because it. Lebron has one that belongs to this. It's gotta be the way they think so you know. Yeah I mean he wanted to go for seven. Tony and he would have had a shot. I love a shot. The conditions that forced everybody out. We're stupid they will just simply stupid. But but had they lost seven. Had they not one. It had Indiana or somebody else beating them at that point. They would not be as revered as they are now. Because you go to six and you win six. Wow Wow we're Tony County. Tom Brady's revered and he's six three harder to win. Not Sport close magic as close to a revered you. He's your guy and he has been mind five finals. That's right. He's lost a bunch the Jordan never. He never lost he was the MVP of all of them are never lost. I have I have said to him is back the thing. Would you take the six? No no you keep playing keep playing someone that's getting to Jordan. That speaks to who she is not what people think of them who what he feels and so you know that that that whole thing. Tony. I'M. I'm interested to see what the you know. The latest fallout will be and what the what the overall entire series reacting episode. But the whole thing is talk to you later on down thank you thank you a wilpon boys and girls. You read an email from your friend Larry earlier in the week asking for the segment. Color War stories from Wayne County camps. Let me oblige from Melbourne Australia. I worked at Camp Wayne as a camp counselor when I was twenty. Had the best of my life what could be better than playing sports all day and visiting girls camp at night as for color war. I never thought it could live up to the hype surrounding it but it sure did incredibly intense competition. Two years later I returned from even better summer. If only the walls at the Lake Como in could talk long cold winters in Melbourne. Always have me thinking about what it would be like to go back. Stay Safe Mr Tony. And when do we get to hear from Luke whereas Luke Michael still in? San Francisco is writing. Hopefully that's what we think From Travis Charles Clay County Texas Dear Ronnie or. Is it Dutch like Ronald Reagan as a county historian? I was confused by your statement that your school was named for Tori who sought to singlehandedly and the American Revolution by taking out George Washington. That seemed un-american unlikely doing a little research I found the article below which attributes. George Wilson Hewlett goals namesake. He was a civic leader and a member of the school board for forty six years and president for thirty four. He seems like a better candidate school named after I'm considering it was founded during his lifetime. Do you have any memories of this? George W Hewlett or being commemorated at your school know. The family lived in the area for centuries and you you cited maven part of the family but I cannot imagine. A school would be named for him. I am fascinated by the proliferation of myth and rumor and local history and how they become fact. So this is what I want to say. There was a plaque. There was one of those historic plaques on East Rockaway Road that said George W Hewlett was Tori who sought to capture George Washington. It would be unbelievably coincidental if another George. W Hewlett was. You know somewhere down the chain and have the school named after him. But I confess. I don't know I've always made that assumption from Rick Devon. Who is on survivor right? He's our PAL providers Georgia. My heart goes out to you as you were forced to choose between wearing a sweater or suit jacket. That is too large. If only there was a company you could order a made-to-measure suit from and have it delivered straight to your home maybe someday and that refers of course the Indochino and I should probably call them but the sweaters you have been wearing our beautiful yes they are Johnny O. Sweaters coat yes from Joe. Rounder loved hearing about the Dairy Barn. I grew up in. Farmingdale and dairy barn was a regular trip for us. Mom WOULD LOAD US. Into OUR PONTIAC. Catalina which was the size of Rhode Island and barely fit in the drive through the barn. Good old good memories and their orange juice was addicting. It came in big glass. Sixty four ounce glass bottles and they had had a red top two. I remember these things from Joe Checchi in Dunedin New Zealand. When you talked about the dairy barn it brought back all the memory of living incisive and getting milk and ice cream at dairy barn. My mother would create a crate of milk. She had five boys who drank milk at every meal. We would also get. I think a two gallon container of Vanilla ice cream. Which is I think so big. It wouldn't fit in the freezer so we had to eat it before it melted now here in New Zealand. We have something called the farmgate. It doesn't have to be a farm or have a gate but people sell what they grow from. Potatoes fruits vegetables eggs and even flowers in a roadside stall largest mall. There's an honesty box where people leave the money. Yes it works in a friend of mine from Vermont has the Holy Cow Farm and sells milk cream cheese honey in Vermont Maple Syrup. He doesn't take cash now as a sign with his bank account number. C can transfer money directly into his account. This is our drive through. I think the Dairy Barn in plain view became a drive through hardware store. Rumor here. Has It that Mike Tyson might fight a New Zealand rugby star Sonny Bill Williams in Australia. You're heard it here first from Derek Pittsburgh. Did we just run out of time? So I'll just use this when Nigel initial stop. Tony transported me back to my youth when you talked about your disdain for drive throughs and the problem with using one at the bank as a child. My father hated to take us to the drive through at any fast food restaurant. We drove around a lot for hockey games family chips etc so he would eventually have to give in and take us. Even though we were in line we never actually got our food. My father had a saying growing up. It's called fast food at better. Be at the next window. He would pay for the FOOD AT THE FIRST WINDOW. And by the time we got to the second window the food had better be there and be waiting for us most times. It wasn't so my father being a man of little to no patients with screen for his money. Back Meantime my mother would be dying of embarrassment in the passenger seat and my sister and I would be in the back seat wondering if we would ever eat as far as using the ATM and a bank. Tony it's a car that's provided for you by the bank. It may surprise you to know that NATO card remarkably like a credit card and often they use the exact same way. We know you know how to use a credit card..

I think every person in that region can fondly remember the channel and how it used to play amazingly rewatch -able movies, like Shawshank, Redemption, and Forrest Gump and Braves games today. I know considerably more about Georgia than I ever thought I would TBS several years ago was replaced by Peachtree TV a vestige of its former self no more saved by the bell in the mornings or dinner and a movie sad face. Any? I have a perfect Ed boiling recipe for your mother place exit. A pot cover them with water put the pot on the stove and place a lid on top bring the water to a rolling boil and as soon as it comes to enrolling boil turn off the heat and. This is important. Do not take the eggs off the stove for ten minutes after ten minutes. Take the eggs off cool immediately and peel perfect eggs. Every time. I have so many experiments at try. Out my onion goggles. Oh, it doesn't make any sense. I'm going to use them take some notes trial these weight, and then and then I'll go present by findings my mother, and maybe she won't hate willing. The gift that keeps on giving results in more deviled eggs than that's great. Or in a happier mother. Both are good both deviled eggs first mother's happiness. Are you about my priorities there? That's I'm gonna bad personnel. Okay. And I just want to say I too saw a Shawshank Redemption for the first time on TBS. Oh, I'm positive that that yes. Yes. So. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That and I'm breakfast club. So many movies that like when I saw them again, not in their edited for TBS format. Yes. I was like this is a different film. Why? Make more sense. Yeah. I was eating all this junk food every day. And that's when the doctors told me, I like your cholesterol levels are through the roof. Like all this stuff that I was mixing up, and it was really messing up. My insides they told me that my cholesterol levels are so bad that probably dive a heart attack within five years in prison. I was sentenced to seven years and it motivated me to start moving, you know. And I started like running laps in the prison yard started working out in my I doing jumping jacks and dips and ups and myself, and I lost seventy pounds six months when they told you you could die within five years were in prison for sentenced to seven years. There your cemetery doesn't even say your name your tombstone says a prison number. I didn't want to be one of those people that died in the system, and I've seen people dying there. It's pretty sad time family doesn't even show up. There's a push to make prison food healthier. "By any chance you give a shout out to son. Yes, he's my son who's moved to Dunedin New Zealand on a university exchange for years, big fan, and it would soften the home-sickness it's a long way from shows and I think he's son version one point two zero. Can I just say something very quickly about the dangled thing? And this is if you, if you run and jump, okay, and then hit something and it's not physically possible to if you're falling, you can't stop the fall by by by grabbing something with your fingertip. You wouldn't work. Okay. And it happens in every movie in the new mission. Impossible. We see the thing when Tom Cruise injured himself, you know, you jump from one building to another and you hit them very similar in skyscraper, jump from a thing through thing, and you hit it and you hang on with you. It's not. It's against the laws of all unless anybody knows differently. I'm just assuming that we all know that that is utterly impossible. It is not possible to as you if you're falling. It is not possible to stop yourself falling by grabbing something is going. Past you at the speed of gravity, whatever it was, what's acceleration of gravity, whatever. Second per second. Right? So it's as soon as you're moving, you can't do it. The only way you could do is if you were stationary and not falling the beginning unless you're Bugs Bunny. Yeah, in which case you can walk off the cliff and you don't fall until you really incredible to. I'm just going to go here. Yeah, Laura t h sixteen. I adored incredible to despite any being to in the first one came out. It was definitely part of my child e consciousness. Oh, leave the saving of the world to the men. I don't think so. It was probably my feminist awakening screening, local Odeon. Eleven thirty was entirely made up of teenagers and young adults which created a NAS Taljaare cameraderie I haven't felt such a buzz exiting film in years. Special mention given that almost every other aspect of the film's had a special mention to the music, which very much maintain the feeling of the first one, which maintains the feeling and sound of the seventies and eighties. And it's and it's also it's got that kind of JAMES BOND inflection going on because there's one moment in in which the theme nearly turns into the Monty Norman thing, doesn't it? That is true Charlotte on this Email, I'm fifteen to young. See the original incredible in cinema when it first came out. However, on some occasions of what's the first time on a loop. So I consider myself a huge fan. I went to see incredible too with my parents and younger sister. The first greening we could in our local cinema after say, I think incredible is better than the original good funnier than the first one missed incredible pain from the maths changing Jags powers emerging, really allowing the audience to -rupt in laughed. It's messages of the dangers of technology and screens should unjust. Laws be broken and women taking control resonated with the audience, the animation and the graphics, we're absolutely amazing. It was bright, colorful and crystal clear at some points of the film. It looked, it looked real, particularly the action sequences at a couple of points. I thought it was quite scary. "You. Okay. Time for questions and we have a few of them. Let's see, how are we gonna start with us? Actually, let's start with the Delaney questions. One thing that has been very clear is the Delaney has been a very popular character. So we do get questions for Delaney from time to time and one of them. Now we've said this before, but we did have one. So we'll clarify. One person wanted to know is, is Delaney your sister? No, but she would be really cool sister. She was. She would be a lot of fun. Actually. Delaney is a friend, a classmate that you note for many years, and she has her own sister lily who also listened to the podcast. So high Louis LA. So next question and someone wanted to know what Delaney's favorite color was and what kind of things that she likes to do to remember her favorite color? I think it was turquoise. It was turquoise Dino, turquoise blue. I always think of it as like light. Blue. Yeah, I think so. So that's a favorite color and her favorite thing to do. I suspect she has a lot of favorite things to do, but you remember what she shared the doing art. She loves to do art, and if you ever visit errands classroom, you can see just how much art they do in their class. And they do some really, really good stuff. So I'm sure that her art is actually pretty pretty good. And another thing you might wanna know about lending thing I've noticed 'cause I get to spend time in Erin's classroom and help out is when they play dodgeball. Delaney's right at the front, she's not hiding in the back. She's right up in the front trying to catch the ball. She's a brave little dodgeball player. Let's see. We had another question from another little girl, Patricia and she is five. And she wrote to tell us actually, her email was a little was directed at us, but I think it was probably directed more for captain Lee. She wrote to tell us that she wants to be a submarine captain and wanted to know how. She could go about doing that. Good question. Okay. Patricia, we know you're listening. I talked with captain Lee and she had some recommendations for you. First of all, she recommends learning everything. You can about the ocean about things that live in the ocean about what's in the ocean, the ocean floor, and whatever interests you about the ocean. Since if you do plan to be in a submarine, captain one day, that's where you're going to work. So it's probably good to learn as much about it as you can. The other thing that she recommends is learning how to swim. If you're gonna be working in the ocean, it's a good skill to have. And of course you can do whatever it is that's comfortable for you or that you're interested in. But anything that helps you have as healthy and strong body as possible is probably going to be very helpful for being a submarine captain when she agree, Aaron and captain Lee also told us that if you're ever in the paleozoic alw-. Is welcome aboard, the pullers. Okay. Enough of me talking. We need to get Aaron talk in a little bit more. So next question is from Quinn what's quince question if dinosaurs didn't live in the water, then why did they go in the water? And how would you answer that? Well, first of all, outlet stuff, the dinosaurs that went in the water Spinosaurus Barry, onyx, and I think sutra mimesis how you pronounce it. Those three dinosaurs. The reason they went into the water was because they fish, there would catch fish in the water. Also may be an animal could go in the water to cool off. It was if it was hot day or they could just do it to scape like a swore pod could go in the water and they're tall, so their neck would come up out of the water in, but theropods are smaller. The sore parts could dick themselves in the water. So just because they don't live in the water, doesn't mean that there aren't reasons to go in. The water. Yeah. All right. Next question is from Linus and this one we have an audio. So I'll play right now. This is line of from Dunedin New Zealand in would like to know how big and how strong is a dynamical by. Thanks for the question Linus will. I devote on dynamic kiss was bigger than velociraptor and velociraptor just for comparison well of lost raptors about the size of chicken. Okay. But in movies, they kind of make it bigger trestle. Yeah. But Dr NAMA kiss was also about the size maybe a little smaller than a full grown human. So it was pretty big, but I'm not sure how strong it was something getting one knows that yet, but it was very dangerous. So what what kind of things made it dangerous? Why's it known for being being dress? Well, first of all, it's part of the raptors and stuff and usually raptors hunt in packs. So you don't wanna get in the way of dynamic is pack. Will, and also it's just a predator. So probably has tools for doing predator things. Right. Alec it's club huge claw on. It's too scary and probably a lot of teeth. Yep. And if you'd like to know more about that, he can also listen to our Dynacast episode. Yep. Our next question is from Matthew who is eight and he has a battle question. It's not a Dino battle question, but it is definitely a prehistoric creature battles question, and he wants to know who would win between and ACA modest station. Did I say that right? I don't know. Modest ecm honesty on, I think. Okay or a
