DeSantis Signs Bill Stripping Disney of Special Tax Status

"The headline this morning from Yahoo news, which is the main story in headlined link from the drudge report as this, quote, Florida ends Disney's special status as culture war flares. As culture war flares. I love that. Passive voice. May I give you the first two sentences of the story because the tilt of the story is not passive. It has blame. It has a responsible party, quote Florida's legislature scrapped Disney's self governing status in a Orlando theme park on Thursday. In a move widely seen as retaliation in a bitter row over what has become known as the don't say gay law. The bill, which is expected to be signed into law by governor Ron DeSantis, is the latest faint in a U.S. culture war undertaken by the conservative presidential hopeful that has left Disney floundering close quote. Working backward just a moment, the story wants you to think two things immediately up front. One that Ron DeSantis is doing this because he's a presidential hopeful. And two, what governor desantis and his Republican Party have done is retaliate for a response to a faint in our culture war that was commenced. Undertaken started begun is the right synonym here by Ron DeSantis. Got it? Culture, war equals bad, and it was started by desantis and the Republicans. None of this is true, nor should it be accepted as true. This is opinion

I mean, now they're looking to Hillary. Hillary Clinton, listen, the only thing more delicious. Delightful. Euphoric. The only thing that would make me happier than Trump beating her in 2016 is to watch Trump beat her in 2024. Dogecoin’s Value Is Soaring. Is It Time to Take It Seriously?

"Another day another doj coin. We can't help but mention this going back ever so slightly today. If you put a thousand dollars in doj coin on january first of this year right now on may six it would be worth one hundred and twenty thousand dollars the nights i was thinking about it in light of what we used to say about market for stocks when they look high. And we'd say you know on any given day when a certain number of shares changed hands and that it if you multiply the the all the outstanding shares by that price you get to that market cap but if everybody's sets decided to sell. I just don't think it's really there and that's kind of what i think about doj point i. It's that many that's at least my explanation for how it can be eighty billion dollars. Maybe really not eighty billion dollars. That's where it is on any given day. That's a demand that's the leaning meeting could vaporize overnight. Meaning i don't think you can just say it really does have a market cap bigger than most of the major corporations in this country. Did you see on drudge. They had no regrets that they had the middle finger. One two okay. I see what he hit giving the middle finger at the establishment and that that made it. So that's all part of it and then you gotta deal on. Musk so i also make way you can't buy. You can't buy all of the doj coin altogether at a premium. Nobody's doing that. Unlike a company and one of the reason why you care about market cap is because extensively somebody could buy the whole company. Yeah premium that can't happen it doesn't it doesn't work that way

Georgia Senate debates make headlines ahead of runoff

"Voting in georgia for the january senate elections begins one week from today. On december fourteenth debates for both georgia's senate races were held last night in atlanta. Here's republican senator. Kelly leffler and democrat reverend raphael warnock. My question is a pretty simple. Yes or no. Senator leffler did donald trump lose a recent presidential election. President trump has every right to use every legal recourse available in our own state. We've seen time and again that we have investigations that need to be completed. The trump campaign has filed fifty three frivolous lawsuits claiming election fraud courts. Actually the lawsuits did not ever claim fraud. Not in a single one of those losses. Did they claim fraud. Once they got in a court courts found zero instances fraud that includes one case. George that was dismissed today by a federal judge appointed by president. George w bush drudges republican. Senator david perdue who is facing allegations of insider trading. Just refuse to show up to debate as challenger don crat jon ossoff who appeared next to an empty lecture. My message for the people of our state at this moment of crisis is your senator feels entitled to your vote. Your senator is refusing to answer questions and debate his opponent because he believes he shouldn't have to. He believes this senate seat belongs to him. The senate seat belongs to the people today. John also held a campaign event in lilburn georgia. Imagine being a. us. Senator afraid of answering questions in public for fear that he might incriminate himself at a moment. Like this when people are hurting joining us. Now is who and castro. The former secretary of housing and urban development in the obama administration. Former mayor of san antonio texas secretary castro. Thank you very much for joining us tonight. You're back on the campaign trail today. Jon ossoff tomorrow for raphael warnock What are you seeing out there. Especially in response to this weekend's debate last night's debate where a david did not even show up. It's good to be with you lawrence. But what i've seen is a lot of people georgia understand how important the stakes are here. They understand that what happens here in georgia is gonna affect not only all georgians but also all of us as americans. I think most of gay and what they saw in the debates last night. Reinforce this that in a senators leffler purdue they've had two people that endorsed most critical moment of need have chosen to serve themselves to enrich themselves benefit their friends instead of working on behalf of the people of georgia. And what they see an rafael warnock in jon. Ossoff our to folks who are committed to serving the people georgia who were talking about the issues that matter healthcare job getting small suspect up in going housing opportunity as many people facing eviction making sure that we tackle climate change in the biggest challenge of our generation so the the differences here couldn't be more clear. Let's listen to more of what john also had to say on the campaign trail today. And how are these campaigns. These two democratic campaigns a sound like a partnership. Let's listen to this. You got the young jewish journalist son of an immigrant running alongside a black preacher who holds the same pulpit as dr king at the knees baptist church building a movement for health jobs and justice for the people at a moment of crisis because health jobs and justice are what the people need right now and we are running against the bonnie and clyde of political corruption in america secretary castro that kind of teamwork is unusual. Most people would. They're running for office. They're just trying to get themselves over that hurdle. Well it is. And i think we're fortunate that we have these runoffs going on at the same time as you know. Lawrence doesn't not happen where you have to united states senate seats in a runoff at the same time and i think they've done a very good job as a team and painting making sure that their message is clear about what they're gonna do for the people of georgia that get his asses the work to make sure that folks have good opportunities in georgia. And that's how they're going to govern governed in a much stronger way for the people of georgia than a leffler and purdue. Have i want to listen to something. That reverend warnock said last night in his debate because interestingly both democratic campaigns are running against republican candidates credibly accused of insider trading using their senate positions for insider trading. Let's listen to what the way reverend warnock put it. Last night. She was only there three weeks. i'm not sure she was fully unpacked when she started dumping millions of dollars of stock trying to protect herself and She purchased. That seat is done well for her. The issue is that the people who sold it to our. Don't it and the people of georgia coming back to get their seat sir. Castro is that issue getting traction on the campaign trail is especially. Because you're is somebody in kelly lafleur who was not elected Who last night into debate. You could tell just said the same thing over and over and over again and instead of addressing the issues basically just tried to label roselle warna you know as do liberal for georgia when he was there actually talking about the things that we hear people talking about table being able to afford the rent. You know wh what is their gonna come back online. What is washington dc. Doing work to make sure that they have opportunity. And to make sure the infancy can get asked endemic It's night and day away. That worn can also addressing the issues. That people are talking about the care about right now. And i'll disconnected leffler and her do our sanitary helene. Castro live from the campaign trail in georgia. Thank you very much for joining us tonight. Really appreciate

Less than half of US public believes the election results will be accurate

"That less than half Of the public believes the election tally will be accurate. Less than half So that I'm going to do. The reciprocal is here. Well, then, that must mean a majority things. It won't be. And if that's the case, no matter who wins. If we don't if we do not believe it. Then what happens to our republic? You have tohave. Trust in the fact that the process the system works. So With all of that, and by the way, I've been flipping around on all the various networks today. And The left is apoplectic. They are absolutely come at every topic of every show so far today. About the fact that Donald Trump's not gonna step aside. He's talking to the military about having the military come in. And keep him keep the opposition away and keep him there and and that they're going to make sure that this goes, you know, they're not going to count the balance. There is going to declare that he's the winner and then the Supreme Court will now be in the hands of conservatives, and then they're going to rule in favor of him. But I made her go nuts. Then I looked at the Washington Examiner there right there, Right in the same story in the front of Drudge is writing the same story. So this isn't like some of this is like the elephant in the room that people are afraid to talk about. I really wanna have a conversation with you about this. I don't want people that are just angry. What are you doing, Tom? Why? Why are you talking about President Trump the greatest guy in the whole wide world. I'm not. I'm not talking about who's gonna win or he's gonna lose. I'm talking about the fact that both parties are spending a lot of time undermining the accuracy of the election. Down. Has any election ever been precisely, exactly. 1000% accurate. I doubt it. seen in my lifetime was 2000, Florida. Or I believe it was 508 votes. In favor of George W. Bush. But before this was they went through and recounted and re counted and recounted, And then it went to the courts and the courts ruled about you can't recount Yes, you can recount Okay, Broward, you could recount but Then I went to the Supreme Court. And they finally put a stop to all the recount recount recount. But that did not mean that the New York Times and CBS News We're not still there. Digging with their lawyers. Doing everything they could to figure out what the true account wasn't after. It was a good year, when finally all of the media investigations. Finally came to the conclusion that George W. Bush won by 508 votes. But what's that did was it for the first couple of years of the Bush administration even after 9 11? There was a period where we were all united after 9 11, but but otherwise. It was. He's not a legitimate president. Now that was going all during his first term, And then when he was re elected in 2004 at pretty much, they still did not like him, but they stopped the fact that he wasn't a legitimate president. And so if Donald Trump wins you want this country No matter how much you like him or don't like him, you want the country to know that he is the legitimate president if Joe Biden wins You want to know that as well.

"Now it's down to about half that on both ends between around twenty million viewers a month and around one point seven, one, point eight. Million unique. So the trajectory is going downward and I think it's interesting and almost. Fitting that for the longest time and you probably remember this beater people will talk about Oh. This is an extra report. This is going to replace the drudge report. Here's this new web. Do none of them ever the New Jersey abort? But Matt is is increasingly being replaced by revolution of its own social media revolution. It's not going to be a person it's going to be a revolution end. That's the thing Matt Drudge is appeal to editors when I was at the New York daily. News for many years wasn't there's no personal affinity to Matt drudge they would go on his website over and over again because Matt Drudge I at everything always, and there was a feeling that if you want on the Georgia where you can miss something it will he he first anymore and it's not even close twitter is by far. Ahead of map in terms of being first. So now you're left with some loyalists who click on drudge report just out of interest or have it. And that's been fading. So I think what you're seeing with the drudge report is currently is Matt. Met Knows Matt knows that it's he knows the numbers as well as I do, and I think it's an attempt to stay relevant and maybe tried to pick up new in a new audience on the left a little bit which he has gotten. Some ILGI has some of the conservative viewers with our audience with people on the left. In terms of the conservative movement with media I think it's GonNa be fine I mean they're so we have so much access to information in and remember. Cyclical. Peter. Like in the early nineteen hundred, some newspapers had twenty. Twenty newspapers right and and then goalie. The corporate glaze came over by nineteen fifties and nineteen sixties slowly began seeing corporations take over all the newspapers and then gatekeepers come back. drudge represented a change in that and gatekeepers gone populist wave in news. Once again, we're seeing gatekeepers creep out through social media. I don't think he'll attach I. think that the freedom in media people are too diverse into educated right now, we won't tolerate it. I mean, I won't tolerate my news being censored I'll go somewhere else I try very hard to I don't. I try not to rely on twitter too much 'cause they're you know it's it's also if you twitter trending, that's also trying to control the narrative right like your gatekeeper Sarah facebook and it's OK private corporations they're allowed to. But I believe that the free market will dictate that constantly libertarian conservative ideas we'll keep popping up and same liberal and socialist ideas in just GonNa be surrounded with a ton of ideas and my hope is just always an honest fight over ideas and at the best ideas eventually win. which in my optimistic view of course of human history. But that's to be determined right off to say. I hope you're right. I like your optimism but I do hope that's the future of people are very educated and we'll have to see if the attempt to control the narrative works or not were there any things when you were working on the book that you wish you could have got more into or topics that you?.

"Just. Against All odds had to force of will and always had confidence about himself from the day's worst teenagers would try to talk to him night I mean team his teachers spoke to teachers of his high school and they'd be like, here's his kids standing in front of me. He's he's failing like we know he's having family issues. Completely confident not fake confident never doubted himself only so certain that he was going to be just fine and acted as if. You know he knew something they didn't about himself and that persisted. So when we Kinda talk about Matt Paranoia, which is evident in the book a bit too why he chooses to shut people out a lot and his independence I think it's Part of his character. You, sometimes, with the with those kind of issues, you get the good with the bad it because some of the sometimes people have some of the hardest stuff going on in their personalized whether it's mental emotional stuff They're also like super confident are really able to perform think Matt drudge and you're like I don't want to go on the pop psychology. I do hate that when people these allegations of people they've never met. But I did there many times I honestly feel really bad for. Matt drudge especially when it came to his dad because I I also had a heart background as a kid I ki- I doubt is one tough road to Hoe. See Reconcile I am happy to saying. Now Yeah His dad is the one that gives the teaches him to use a computer which is really important. You know do his dad would actually a computer. A a revolutionary in his own way. He started ref desk. You know what that is. I do not I'm. Really early and extremely popular ability to look up information on the Internet and one of the first to do it, and it was totally revolutionary. New York Times wrote a big article on it. Right when Matt drudge started about Bob Drudge and you know he sold, he sold ref desk. But for the longest time, Matt would link to his dad's website which was. The autumn it payback in many ways. Drifting he does not doubt the drudge report. do it. Okay. I'll have to look up that long list of links that the drudge report leaves at the bottom I'll have to check that out. So do you think The Future of, let's talk about this. Where do you think the future of conservative media is? Including Drudge, and then what do you think's going to happen when drudge goes away because Matt? drudge makes it clear at several points in the book he says Drudge the Drudge. Site is done when I'm done and I mean maybe and you you talked about this also twitter has changed things Silicon Valley. So what do you think the future is for a conservative media conservative media is going to be fine others some great sites. Now that are doing great aggregating work I know Bongino reports popular citizen free press is a good wine that I've this seems to be doing really well in terms of numbers but. "Was important to understand about matt skill and his genius was not just say he had a great ability to see a story which he did or have this unique ability to see what was the elite in paragraph eight of an AP story should have been a truly lead when it was berry down low. Also, but it was his ability to craft an entire narrative through a cornucopia different stories on his website and you and I you know we talked about how? You know if you go on its website, there's teams that have been persistent for twenty years. One of them is that will persist until the end of the Georgia board is chaos that is a hallmark of the drudge report like every time you go on at least once a week there will be story about locusts plagues famine and you you've if you if you don't span outside of the jobs report, you might be committed. We're really the middle of an apocalypse. and. The message that he's conveying right now through all the sex robots and weather stories and plagues and locus is at right now Joe Biden is is the comhat he can steer us through this and trump's loose cannon invested narrative. He's pushing whether it's going to be successful is is going to be a real true true reveal his power. It's a real gamble he's making, but I understand the logic you're leaving their. That ability to create waves that is a that was a unique and very special talent del Latta. Conservative Media even the media is missing often libertarian conserved media is kind of like the moon to the mainstream media son and we just Kinda we just kind of. Our story of the day is reflection whatever they choose to make their story the day and drudge work talent that I really. Think he has. It's really special is he's like I get away from all that I create I create the narrative. The everyone's can be bouncing off of I. Don't try to just do whatever the mainstream media says is the news of the day which that's that's a rare gift I think. A conservative media. In particular would do a lot better I think if they would find a way to gain that talent for themselves, but it's a hard one to take care of. As The mattress just finding out right now on that. On that note Peter Like one thing I think your audience might find interesting is that this isn't unique to match starting the drudge report matt going back and interviewing over two hundred eighteen people going back to his high school days. Matt was like that as a child. He created the drudge report without anybody's help just himself like his well, he pushed it from the very beginning when he objectively had no chance. He looked. It's. Nominally. By sociologists, they should study Matt drudge. 'cause it's really a case of this one man.

"So your audience knows. So he his job in the morning was to to set up the drudge report. And finally injury out demand and said look what what's happening here. Why why does it seem like you're pushing for Obama and mass response was very telling he said An Obama presidency might be shitty for the country, but it sure would be great for the website. And you know it's hard to argue with with the results there. Because at least financially for Matt I can't think of more than a handful of people who did better financially under Barack Obama did match his net worth is estimated at north of one, hundred, million dollars. So people it brings up another issue that I get asked a lot about like what is this shift to the left and Matt that was never a right wing guide people think he was Matt Drudge was always a businessman and a damn good one at that. And he's successfully navigated his website, not only stay relevant but to stay incredibly lucrative And you know once again, you know with the shift to the left, you see everybody's talking about Matt Drudge. Again. He's he was trending on twitter number one a few days ago. The president of the United States is tweeting about him. So I think there's a bit of genius on how he plays both sides. And right now, that's exactly what he's doing. I, find it very interesting that trump won't last week. You guys don't know he started taking the drudge report because drudge was running this article about maybe these mini strokes. And I just I found it fascinating. But one thing is the president was saying that drudge had didn't like him in two thousand sixteen and and maybe like on a political level like a purse. Love. Maybe it didn't. But I doubt I mean there's a good chance that we would not have gotten donald trump as you said as the nominee for the GOP and then that of course. Scott. Him The win in the November because I was I was a big crew support back day I remember winning. They won I want it's like the night of the next day people are acting like it hasn't even happened. And that it just it just drove me just crazy at the time but but you put in the book that Matt Drudge is number one priority has always been about. The drudge report and taking good care of it and making sure it stays. At the tippy top of influence. So it's fascinating part of the book. So let's hear. Let's move on to this. I got some of these questions down here. How has matt. DRUDGE. We talked a little bit about this. How is Matt Drudge? And his website created the conservative. Media ECOSPHERE. What's what's his influence on it? You think well to go back to history in history a little bit to the time when map became relevant..

Stevie Parle Shares His Spaghetti And Clam Recipe

"I am Stevie Paul. I have a few restaurants rather than a couple of restaurants style. A pop-up could joy in west London and I wanted to tell you how to make spaghetti with clams. This is my favorite thing to we think. So so my kids type thing to. The most of the people you cook it for think you'll really some kind of genius when you make it and yet it's incredibly simple. Clemson Volaille obviously is a cool mentally have unbelievable flavor. The juice comes out of clam is just tastes out of this world. Very easy to make you need. Spaghetti doesn't need to be a fresh dried past united of standard. Supermarket blue-and-yellow packet round is fine. It really is fine. But if you see a slow a dried has to take a longer amount of time to cook I always think that's good into look at actually how long it takes cook it from the pack is says your Spaghetti takes like fourteen minutes but something bad instead of ten or eleven it's a nice big spaghetti by the Nice Hodge wieght and it takes time to cook, but it's going to be chewing delicious. Anyway you need spaghetti. Hasley, dry Chili, white wine, and unique clams. Really a peasant can he love clams but equally, if you make has to climbs with like ten clams lesson than that is absolutely delicious and the juice they create makes much wonderful sociopathic. So festival, you're GONNA have everything ready for this dish because once you making it, you gotta move kind of fast. So let's save a gonNA. Do that you people you need a couple of hundred grams of Spaghetti. You need a big hand full of Nice. Salted Wilshire associates the see. Boiling rapidly, you need to finally up to cloves garlic your time you're doing this trying shook the evenly and small, and you need a handful of parsley flatly parsley leaves pig from the studios. Again shops when I'm joking Parsley, why do is I kinda scrunch up into a bowl and then again big shove knife and so slice through scrunched up all of Parsley as finally as I can and then go through it again once at done that in judge Moore says really fine many needle clams anything from ten to betty offense they come in different sizes it kind of normal Palo plans again, this country really good. I. Tend to choose the smaller ones just because the big ones could be a little bit cheery and be not nice. And why do I washed clams under running Warta just to make sure that not gritty. Swish Moore around, and then if they open while washing them, you can throw those ones. Sometimes they it's like only salmon them in those the you get rid off, but they should just be tidy shot Monday, running water and Swish around in a single appeal something for a few minutes just to get them nice and clean 'cause it's a bit disappointing when you you're clams and you get a bit of sand I mean he's not the end of the world who have made you sick. It's just wants tweets and so you've got your big kind of woods boiling. You've got your garlic party jobs. You got some dried chili like crushed dried chili nice specific one just. Don't want it to be crazy hall. So if it's a kind of mild crush drudge chilly but we Quarter, teaspoon of something. And you got your clements watched and then you need a wide hand with a LID. If you have a big frying pan on a lead that fits on that side and my spine has it sometimes, you can use another one use a play or something that's ideal whose what you're GonNa do is you're gonNA. Steam the rams, and if you have the more piled on each other, they will open bat the juice from. I feel like I feel like we're kind of ahead of time on this book. Do you know what I'm saying? Clearly Early you WANNA have like a bunch like, okay. Less fans but louder fan you. Want. You want the guys like in the basements, making awesome memes and dislike cackling all day about their means making memes about you know you don't want them being like fucked trump I don't like this guy. Yeah. Yeah I mean it feels like it feels like a lot of people are fucking frustrated with them all like there's no, there's no fucking wall and like. They're like, what? What's he brought to the table that he promised you know what I mean lower taxes, lower taxes and like. You know the far right. Who doesn't like Israel. WHO's like? How could you not say is a shell for Israel like yeah. So like you've lost that demographic the people who were I thought you were going to bring back jobs now they like there's no jobs now and like he hasn't really done anything to to stop that he hasn't really done anything to stop automation he hasn't really done anything to like stop like the flow of illegals going into anywhere It just seems to be like. Even admit that New York Times that he has more readers on politics and news than facebook the New York Times and The Washington Post La Times put together. He's got some of our stories were the shooter himself said he was on a bunch of drugs. He's linked to that today and that's the story they don't want out there or the story. We're CNN took a mixed racial Christian hater and turned him into a right wing white supremacist and turning white. They don't want people knowing that. But Matt drudge and his great crew can link to alternative stories, foreign stories, mainstream stories, photos, mugshots, and really focused on what Matt drudge thinks is interesting and the public tends to agree with him that what he focuses in on is really catching the Zeitgeist the pulse of the people so he might have fifty links every day a lot more outshone talking before. "Drudge to know is he was he like anti-israel was in his In his news aggregates I have not picked up anything either way. Like I, I don't have any. Is. The think he particularly cares that much about Israel. So. I don't know I don't know I just kind of like I feel like we're just on the tip of something like something's GonNa Happen Yeah and I just like waiting to see what it is. You know I read this book and I was like Oh my God like I don't never heard about this guy and then I was like. Immediately like every day on the drudge report what's going on what's going on what's going on like this is GonNa? This is gonNA matter in the future but I don't know why I don't know I don't know what he's doing. This is going to be really important. I'm not. I'm not sure maybe I mean there's so there's some more theories about what's going on here. So there's another theory that. Matt drudge. Has Been Best friends with Ann Coulter and Coulter and Donald Trump got into a huge feud. On played, it's played out on twitter. And they said some nasty stuff to each other and now marriage as a personal vendetta in this because that's my only friend. That's the only woman ever been to my house. This doesn't really make sense to me either I mean, first of all a bit petty, I think guys with that much power aren't so while maybe they are but. I. Believe reading the book. An coulter hasn't really even talked to Matt drudge like in years like they're not keeping in touch anymore either. So the Ann Coulter Theory of why the shift has happened doesn't make too much sense to me. Now the other theory is this kind of crushes on Kushner. Kushner is kind of like. To trump's Yang, in the office, right like they're kind of pulling in different directions or at least that's the way they make it appear publicly. Kushner's one of his big controversy contributions to the the White House has been the. Prison reform or criminal justice reform right? So, this is like this was like a boon to the left this was. You know. Like reaching out in a serious legislative way to black voters. And this is not the type of stuff that trump campaigned on. In fact, it's the exact opposite of the trump campaign on though Kushner. Is kind of like very the opposite of trump, and maybe there's stuff going on behind the scenes with Kushner and maybe that behind the scenes stuff has something to do with why drudge has shifted on from. I don't know anything about we have this behind the scenes stuff the anything to say about that one. Did, you want to show the Alex Jones Interview Yeah we could I just wanted to into the last theory, which is a theory that I am most sympathetic to, which is theory that I came up with, which is because we're talking about that's why did it because we're talking about it he did it because it was going to attract attention because it was going to track is because there was going to. Bring. His or like boast drudge reports notoriety. Boost. I mean I think the like I think author name I say that. Lace. Lycene? LYCEUM Matthew. I, think he might say something similar.

"I don't remember who wrote it but. There is no border wall funding. So there was a banner headline that slammed trump for building no new wall at all was the headline. So not fulfilling his campaign promises stuff and that's what actually Andrea Nicotiana instead Cha I was just GonNa. Yes. He said that earlier and he was also mentioning like ties to Israel. So the not not to follow through with campaign promises doesn't really make any sense to me considering like again I don't go so far say it's indistinguishable from Msnbc but it certainly swung. Much further to the left than it's ever ever been before So it doesn't seem like he's concerned with the kind of conservative. Right wing things that trump didn't fulfill because doesn't seem to be whereas head is at or at least where he's been moving the drudge report to though as far as like trump not main- maintain campaign promises that be motivation for the change the shift I I don't think that's the case. I'm surprised there isn't a conspiracy theory that like the Clintons had killed and they just replaced him because he. was like, how would? I haven't heard that. Yeah. That's a good one. Yeah. Like I'm really surprised it's not like a cue non fucking thing right now. The like the Clintons are getting their final revenge now and they're gonNA put. I don't know I want to know what Alex Jones has to say about trump these days because rather drudge because. Drudge, like was one of the only guys in the sphere of mainstream who was treating Info wars and Alex Jones positively they would. drudge would regularly link to info wars. Articles? Famously Twenty fifteen. He gave one of his very few interviews to Alex Jones on the Alex. Jones. Show. Actually, we could pull that up. We just like maybe show that you WANNA. Do you WanNa talk about? So like nicotine abruptly connections to Israel. Or anything I don't know anything about that he is Jewish. But Yeah I don't know anything about any kind of connect. Well Yeah. He's he's Jewish Andrew, Breitbart Jewish and a lot of these people. You a lot of these people who run the media consumer liberally Jewish, but it doesn't seem to me like trump is against Israel or against Jewish people all like if anything's the opposite, I'll be Eso like it. If that's his trump support. Israel is way higher than it is in the United States? So it seems like if he's a big pro Israel guy, he should be pro trump. and. I I. Mean I. He's like this is the drudge report you've never heard of the drudge report it's like far right conspiracy theory like news and it's just on this like nineties looking Gio city. Shitty fucking webpage I was just looking at the headlines like I mean it looks kind of Cool I. Guess like. How long does this maybe like six seven years ago before trump got elected and then I- oddly enough remember thinking like read. It looks like this like read it completely copied the style of of text based information sharing like old school looking stuff. Read I mean read it's a little slicker now but like read, it basically looked like. It's The other thing that I find like how read it kind of mirrors drudge report it's red is everybody and and and drudge report like now. Fuck everybody it's just me like these are my opinions bug. Though, yeah it it definitely promotes addiction like that. And there's no, there's no record of the old stories or is it just like? There have been some analysts that. A. Lot of the stories and links. Posted on drudge report but no, I, mean, he doesn't he doesn't. Like what and he's like, he's like, Oh, I don't have to pay for lighting up to pay for sound I don't pay for microphones to pay for like anything I just fuck it on the internet and collecting the cash. He said he was getting close to seven digits or some. Seventy. Goodness. Oh my goodness, and this was this was like twenty years ago. Yeah I. I read a report from a couple years ago that he was like making a million a year on the drudge. report. Yeah. Yup, presumably, the website it's gotTa be worth more than that, right? and. It's kind of weird though like it's not like he can sell it. It's not like. It's not like an asset that he can sell off. Yeah. Well, they said in the book that some like a sports team owner offered them not as much as I think one hundred and fifty million dollars website. Maybe I'm getting that number wrong but it wasn't as high as I thought it would be maybe it was actually even less than that. But, yeah I would think the website would be worth a lot. Do you want to get into his relationship with. A Kushner and trump campaign more. Yeah Yeah Yeah Go. Well that was really fascinating to me so. Jared Kushner. Donald Trump's son-in-law very important guy in the administration. was set to have an instant pipeline pipeline to drudge and trump dravid gravitated toward Kushner, because of his proximity to power right and. Inside the trump campaign, there was a nickname for drudge. The nickname was lady drudge because drudge were said to have a man crush on Kushner which I mean as a homosexual this is this is a this is a crush. This is not the. Broke rushes crush. So anytime, anything positive happened about Kushner, Bradford postal link with a flattering picture. It wasn't uncommon for Kushner to walk into rooms and being like I just got off the phone with drudge and this. Really Weird. He's a he's a famous recluse and Kushner's really close with this Guy Kushner and drudge wanted Steve Bannon out of the White House after the election and and drives me sent to be working behind the scenes to make it happen working alongside Kushner to get bannon out of office and it happened Bannon got kicked office yeah and Bannon was like fee probably the next most powerful media guy besides strike and then he got booted from Breitbart he got totally fucked. And it's like. He's like a no. I wouldn't say he's a nobody now but like what what's he doing now I briefly wikipedia them before the show on the doesn't look like there's anything interesting on. He just makes like some phone calls and he's like, yeah yeah like I want this guy fucking pitcher let's what are we going to deal and I like that was one of the things that was so like. Enthralling about the book for me just like knowing all these names. And all these politicians and seeing how they're all kind of woven together in some way to Matt Drudge Chapter Thirty, one of the White House. It felt like vengeance movie or something it's like it's it's election night we've got bannon..

It's so weird that this Matt drudge is so hard to understand is human being because he's such a recluse right? Like he doesn't give interviews. He doesn't hang out in the public eye it's not like you don't really know anything about him from his writing because you can't tell if you means says he's just posting these things to like generate money. Yeah. Well, he he also wrote his own book, The drudge manifesto, but it was like very eccentric like there's poetry and there all these like artistic uses of grammar with like you know removing spaces and huge run on sentences and everything. So. He's kind of a yeah a recluse confusing character. A lot of things that people don't know about him and that's why this book was so cool because. So many things were on earth. So the show right I apparently this was an open secret and a lot of people knew this, but this hasn't been confirmed and he denied this in multiple interviews flat out said, no, that is not true but he is gay. Not Drudges Gaze I couldn't believe that I didn't know that at all, but he was living a very. Active. Gay Lifestyle..

"drudge" Discussed on The Cave of Time

"No No. What did you know about Matt drudge before before you read this because I know we've talked show almost nothing else like I've seen the DRUDGE report a couple times I don't follow the drudge report for news You know to me the judge was Kinda of this like old Kuki looking website where the conservatives like I guess it's cold. It's famously code from the nineteen nineties like this. The site is not. updated. Since. Geo City days, Yod. Looks like it looks like a time machine when you go to look at, it looks like you're looking at nine on the Internet on Netscape and but this guy is the power of right wing media. I didn't realize that he was has arousal right? Right. And I know I was talking to a lot of people. Ask me all like, what are you doing in the podcasts I said Matt drudge and they're like, who's Matt drudge like almost nobody I knew it her he's he's a man behind the scenes. He really is I mean I've I've paid attention to him for a while. So I used to read You know I've been a news junkie for a while I was more of a news used donkey years ago when I used to read actually Huffington post was my main source of. News or a while post, and then I was like this is very left wing. It's very kind of the same. No I really need to expand my horizons I, need to incorporate something on the left. So or years literally years every single day oftentimes like honestly probably ten twenty times a day I was addicted. I would constantly check Huffington post then drudge often post then drudge just constantly looking at what was going on on the left and what was going on the right and the. News media. And so I've been very familiar with with drudge for a while and we've been talking about for anybody listening to like a previous episodes. I've been regularly bringing up that. rudge on the DRUDGE report. has made this kind of change like I was the only one I? Felt that was noticing. He was not pro-trump anymore like during the election twenty, sixteen elections and the earlier perhaps the first two years of trump's presidency. DRUDGE. was all in for trump like drudge was instrumental in helping trump get elected. And lately, it's been clearly anti-trump and clearly the entire ideological framework of the of the website of the drudge report has has shifted but I thought I might have been going crazy and then Tucker Carlson brings on this author with this book. You know didn't hadn't come out when Tucker Carlson brought him on, just came out and apparently I'm not the only one who noticed and Tucker Carlson says, the drudge report is indistinguishable from MSNBC. Yes. So there's Kinda lots unpack. They're like I didn't realize that he was instrumental getting trump elected and not just him. Andrew Breitbart who was like his right hand man for decades. Protege and then. I guess Andrew Barr. died. Right. Right, was it before the election or during the election like?.

The Ins and Outs of Steroids

"Now before we begin. I do want to say this episode is not meant to be a comment on anyone that does steroids is more for educational don't purposes so that people can understand the what could be considered the physiological positive effects of steroids but obviously explore the negative effects of steroids always as well and what they really are. Firstly the words steroid has many different meanings as steroids can be chemicals that often hormones that your body makes endogenously within the body naturally on the help carryout cell activity and you need a healthy balance to grow grow. The other hand steroids can be made can be synthetic on of which there are the two main types that are co scare steroids on Anabolic Andrew. Genetic steroids animal officials so corticosteroids are medicines that quickly fight inflammation flirtation. They work like the Hormone Cortisol and Cortisol keeps your immune system from making substances that cause inflammation so these types of steroids. They slow or stop the immune system process that triggers this inflammation but admits that presented. I won't say because mainly on Bolic's so as mentioned anabolic steroids are aw synthetic manmade properties and aversions of testosterone which is the male predominately male sex hormone. That's how it was build big muscles. The women duels out testosterone but men have more women have more issues and in the name and unapologetic. This refers to muscle building on drudge refers to increase male sex caracteristics. And that's why. The name is anabolic for muscle-building For the male sex characteristics so it's worth saying that healthcare providers can prescribe steroids to treat hormonal issues. If you have some from delay puberty for example it can also treat diseases. That cool was muscle all such such as concern AIDS. But obviously in this episode wouldn't be focusing on ready how athletes and bodybuilders can misuse these drugs in attempt to boost a physical appearance and Affleck performance but before we look into the dangers associated with Miss USA steroids. Let's look into what could be considered the positive effects. They have on the body so taking it back to what happens when we work out. We know that when we lift weights we put a muscle strain and we are progressively area loading them to create tiny micro ties in our muscle fibers wipers and the body's natural repair process. That happens when we start to repair the TAT. And add further cells to build a stronger fiber and this is known as muscle hypertrophy. And every time it's is this repeats. The process of tie-down rebuild results in muscle brave and natural testosterone is one of the main ingredients for this process but the anabolic steroids can serve as a supplement so once ingested or injected and all about steroid traveled through the bloodstream to the muscle. Tissue is drawn to the muscle cells receiving dot colder under Gen receptor on these receptors shaved very specifically to bind with the body's natural testosterone. Whole matter but once this synthetic steroids in place the receptor Sir is activated? So the steroid takes the form of Test Australian and fits within these receptors and then the steroids can start interacting with the self DNA to stimulate the protein synthesis. His process that promote cell growth and once these receptors are activated some cells by the synthetic steroid some sales increased production of proteins which oversee a body used to build Komo cells. And this is the phase the metabolic cycle known as a nominalism where small molecules build into more complex. Ones and energy is stored on your body build up muscle. Intense exercise can also release cortisol and this breaks down a breakdown muscle tissue producing so muscles and some steroids can actually block cortisol. From finding to the muscle cells receptors diminishing the breakdown process so anabolic steroids shot in the Catholic phase of the metabolic cycle. So means your muscles spend less time on recovering between workouts and you can do more exercise with less rest. One study showed. The men who used steroids for ten weeks gained two to five kilograms of lean body muscle muscle and therefore I five to twenty percent increase in strength. This muscle. Mass will the game muscle mass predominantly in chest shoulders and upper arms because they're more amgen origin receptors in these cells in there on your legs for example but it is not all sunshine and rainbows. Steroids have dockside. I'm very native effects. As well. People who misused steroids they usually taken orally or injected them and or platinum is a cream even doses may be anywhere from ten to a hundred times higher Ahah than those prescribed to treat medical conditions so the negative effects quite plentiful they can have a long-term damaging effect in the body including kidney problems or failures liver damage including lychees insists. There's the risk of blood clots heart attacks and strokes. The increased strength delivered by Anabolic. Steroids can summary Recession just leads. What's known as Royd rage which leads to altered moods? Irritability increased aggression on the thought to do this by talking nerve cells on and so it leads to poor impulse control so Lloyd rages overacting to an event that normally wouldn't set them off steroid. Usage can also lead to Gynaecomastia Theo. Which is the development of Enlarge Mayo breasts and Dr? Joseph t cruise is one of the talk Los Angeles Gynaecomastia surgeons and he actually conducted as their in house study. It showed that approximately fifty percent of patients who come to see him with the problem of enlargement. Oh breasts have whole moaning juice With majority of them being bodybuilders bodybuilders who've taken steroids at some stage in life and this is because steroids can be converted into eastern by the body in this increase in east region which is the FEMA sex hormone is what causes. Men's develop unwanted breast tissue against our own also lead to shrunken testy. Compact male fertility increased acne acne and so much more so there are alludes of debilitating effects of steroids can affect you long term and have serious serious health risks. So that's all we have the time for for this episode. I hope this helped educate you. On what stories are how they mimic endogenous body homes on the potential short-term game but really really scary longtime effects of steroids so I want to stress that this happened again is not tolerated. Anyone that is taking steroids and considering taking steroids but it should be seen from the educational standpoint. That of course is a surface level. Discussion to provide feather Info fits within the timeframe we try and cells in the short

Foundation Extravaganza 2019

"Extravaganza two thousand nine days you odd voice on just saying extravaganza. I'm guessing probably just think everyone should quietly take a minute home right now to imagine rupaul call him. Basically we love Rupaul though we do but yes we have the foundation extravaganza two thousand nine hundred nine. We're going to be coming up up very soon the all new launches from this summer. I mean not all of them. Because there were literally thousands I think we I move very ambitious and like yeah we can do all of them and then each day. There was another ten so we were literally like this is going to be like a seventeen hour episodes. So what we've done is actually chosen off favorites or at least so a varied selection of much as we could let the most asked about yes and that was the most about but if there is one that you've seen coming out with its come out very recently because also we've been some coming out since we so our off date for all yapping just today hatfields caught oh there's chic very louise weeks brook CBA Buji. I like it so I decide and I woke up hill this morning. So I'm staying away. Professional areas the first person listen to my wedding. Drudge makes me feel very special dresses. She's GonNa do what Mariah enabled. You've been able to oh I did. I was like I don't do to do three doing it. Properly Lindsay is very exciting. We Digress we digress otherwise we'll never get all these foundations so because Uh and you news I'm GonNa pull cat hair phone very professional and then we're going to break into all these foundations but yeah as I was about to say before I got to start to buy the beauty that is hurry outfield advil but if there's anything that we don't mention that you are desperate to know about let us know and we'll do our best to let you know in news in an upcoming episode we shall so as not new new new new. What is the new new well as always says a lot so obviously we're. GonNa talk mostly about foundations and like we said we we didn't try every single thing but one that is a new launch that we haven't tried this coming out is flush peachy. Remember them Lindsey yes I do. I was very worried about them. I felt they might be going away. There's still in line on Alta so flesh bt if you can't with tiny tiny little stick foundation that was kind of like wait through tiny and they have come out with the pure flash liquid foundation so this is actually in a bottle of the liquid foundation which I think a lot of people tend tends to be that kind of like Goto jam is thirty two dollars forty shades good. That's nice and yeah. We haven't tried it but that is is. I believe that's available by now. Actually is out and one that we didn't get hands on because we found out slightly later but we will. I like flesh. I was really worried when they were astorg but don't worry about Oh. That's generally the beginning of the end but that's great if they're still launching something as big as a foundation. I'm forty shades so excited to try that homes golden yeah we go other exciting news which is launching a matter of days so by the time you listen to this you may have already seen this but Victoria Beckham launching our own beauty. I have heard about this and I've seen quite a few teases on grass. I know you're a fan edit collection I I was I feel like for me. I was always like like the first collection the first question I was like. Yes packaging. Yes performance yeah or Gonzalez yet. I was into it second collection. I have to say there were bits. I liked but it was a little made. The first collection was so behind on that I felt a little bit. Let down by the second collection. The quality not wasn't there in the second collection yeah. It just felt a bit. I don't know it just wasn't wow factor like the first one wild me smacked of contract contractual obligation to me he was like she said she'd do to second album syndrome. It was a bit sophomore yes but it does fill me with joy a collection of our own collection so far. There's just been a couple of instagram teases that she's one being a logo which tells us absolutely nothing being very sexy boomerang of her doing a little blink. I and I'm very into this metallic tope Toya. Shade that she's wearing in this picture. Everything about this picture makes me very happy. I Love Brow. I love the I love. What's going on on a date yet. The only thing I don't like is the Hashtag claim beauty stuck on the end of the caption. Because what does that even meeting brands. I have to do this now but I think we've been clear and clean beauty. It doesn't mean anything what was clean. Bt main dirty beauty is it no way dirty beauty. That's GonNa be the name of my eyes. I feel like we've said this and we were talking about. This will be a whole separate episodes on it yeah in because it is a can of worms that should you open the NC. We'll lose her sh- yes next week. We actually have an interview on next the following episode after to this one in two weeks time we have an interview with the president of Bioscience United States talking to forty four about why such twat no we're not talk to that person about its fate town or his cova or anything and but we will be talking to the president of violence is a well well you were there in clean beauty there in the section of beauty but they talked she spoke so eloquently wonderfully about what that means to bioscience and they they don't call themselves clean beechy they call them sustainable. Bt which is obviously something very different yeah and I can't wait to share that with everyone but we should just a clear up definitions the off road and around because even I've done in the past. I'm sure I've used it in my youtube videos where I've even said it without thinking about it. So because everyone's you pay the noise you can musings without saying what that thing means which is so frustrating. Is it natural. Is it organic everything's free in the UK. I mean that's the thing we're cruelty free and like it to be sold in the you have to be yeah like. I don't really understand what you're saying here that obviously China different ballgame but things are changing. It's frustrating. It's like what does clean mean and I think now do you get out. I think is go yeah but as I say as you say all the time to be continue now is Victoria. Beckham beauty is coming. I'm excited about it. I'm excited makeup and that should should be from yeah looking forward to it okay so I've got a thing a thing of pure joy. If Mary Cuando could hold this she would feel all kinds of vibrations goodness. Let's just feeling joy just feeling joy. Nothing I mean Lindsey. I know you're GONNA like this. I'm excited. I think you've already seen my swap chairs and you will. It's the Nour's queen of the night. I shot a pilot which was fired by queen of night herself Suzanne. I'm going to put to the surname botch. Oh my goodness I had to play with this in a recent shoe and it's not perfect. I love it when shadows of that kind of are they are they poudel Econ Hongkong towels like these you a metallic ballot. Yes Chris but with this it doesn't even because it's more of a power in a way it says it's not like you have to work quickly and then unusual name playtime you can lay them on top of other. I shudder as you can do things you can blend with a brush but also I feel like you get playtime if anyone who wants to dabble with color but finds lines that kind of claimed powder formula little bit to a little bit scary. If you feel like enough time blend in time this will be right up your street. It shiny goodness in a pilot. Well love GNAWS. Palette of the moment Clinton recently with the show pilot. Yeah I mean for me. It's very very rather gnaws disappoints me. I have to say it's one of those brands that like it just it makes every basic. I need plus. Extra finishing touches yeah this. Sorry Shawn Club style a couple more pilots actually while we're on pallets. Let's talk pallets new you from urban. Decay are spied in my inbox. You have spied this. I think if you take out the two middle ashamed golden and honey it to me becomes a much more look wearable wearable neutrals because I'm sure everyone listening desperately needs a wearable neutral pilot and then the two middle ones are obviously they draw your eye right in the middle of the pilot and they make it much more yellow toned food yeah because they all saw the yellow gold. "drudge" Discussed on 106.1 FM WTKK

"Monday. I have a bunch of. Bizarre stories now, it's not trust the morons in the news type stories, but. Got a couple that I got to figure out. I had a get him on the air one's pretty damn disturbing. So I'll I'll do my best between now and the end of the program to figure out how to exactly get this on the year. You know, there's a big giant red headline for the last couple of hours up on the drudge website. So on the drudge report big red letters, the big headline poll Trump approval lowest in years. So this is the drudge report, which is linking to Rasmi Mussim reports and the rest mustn't reports methodology has been most beneficial for President Trump as forest poll numbers and job approval. Ratings verses AP polling or or ABC Washington Post or other polling and part of that is the methodology in that Rasmusen that last I had checked Rasmussen was using still old landline. Technology meaning calling folks with landlines which the argument has been made that you getting an older clientele older. Individuals and their through a methodology standpoint, they're hitting more folks that are more prone to be Trump supporters. And that's why you'd have Rasmussen with Trump at a forty nine or fifty percent approval. When in fact, some of the other polling would have him down in the low forties. For instance, however. Today. Drudges is this has been since this morning. So it's been hours already that that Matt drudge of the drudge report in big red letters poll Trump approval lowest. In year. And if you follow dry, and I do because drudge is one of the many websites that I visit every day. And in the case of drudge multiple times a day and a lot of times drudge gets the positioning or he is called out for being, you know, pro Trump or pro conservative or pro Republican website conservative Matt drudge who a lot of the mainstream media has suggested that you know, he's in the tanker is always pushing for Trump. When in fact, I for quite some time I've seen quite a mixture I've seen pro-trump stories and headlines on drudge, but I've also seen unflattering headlines. For instance, the New York Times report, the Washington Post reporter, both those were very prominent over the weekend on drudge, and there are other stories that I've seen. Seen over the last year year and a half which sometimes positive sometimes not. So I don't get it. Why why some of these critics or the mainstream media like to suggest that all? Yeah. Matt drudge drudge report in the tank for for Trump. But today the link is to the Rasmussen reports daily presidential tracking poll, and then has. Support for Trump at forty three percent. So that that is the lowest for Rasmussen that I can remember. So the Rasmussen reports daily presidential tracking poll for today. Monday shows that forty three percent of likely US voters approve of President Trump's job performance and fifty five percent disapprove. So again that's higher than I can recall for the Rasmussen website. Which is certainly interesting now before I wrap this up just the Rasmussen methodology again last I recalled and checked Rasmussen was not a calling cell phones. And the argument has been made that a younger population more prone to beyond cell phones and not have line. So is the methodology for Rasmussen. And the way that they conduct the daily polling is that skewed. And does it give you an accurate snapshot. But I for Trump, and you know, the folks in the White House in a Rasmussen that the lowest number that I can remember at forty three percent approval, certainly raising some eyebrows. Eight hundred eight zero one eighty nine ninety nine and like I said, I I support the president on the wall. I want the wall funded is it the the panacea for everything it's not but a wall and a sturdy physical. Better mouse trap barrier. Is clearly an intelligent component. And for anyone to suggest that a proper burial doesn't work. On a large scale, again, it's not gonna stop everything everyone, but it's certainly an important component to comprehensive border security Solis. I support the president on the wall. I wanted funded. I don't support government shutdowns like where we are. Right now. And I've also said that it is gonna come back, and it is going to bite Trump and Republicans more than it's going to hit the Democrats. And I think we're seeing that now in Rasmussen friendly presidential Trump polling here. I don't see it getting any better and Trump is Doug him. The president is saying the latest from the president's afternoon is he's not budging an inch that he is not going to cave. So once the story how long is the government going to be shut down in this. This partial shutdown of the US government. Now, one of the other speaking of polling though, and this is also pretty fascinating. There is ABC Washington Post polling that came out over the weekend that eighty two percent are not personally affected by the shutdown or have not been thus far. Eighteen percent have. Now as far as blame. The blame those the Trump and Republicans. Fifty three percent blame Trump and Republicans congress Democrats in congress only twenty nine percent of the blame. Also that same poll a wall support is going up and it showed. Wall. Support is now at forty two percent. Last year was just a thirty four percents. So let's get to the shutdown, and I want to morph into this Atlanta handgun incident where a gun got through security on a delta flight. To japan. This is a crazy story. So on day twenty four it's now, officially the longest government shutdown or partial shutdown in US history that became the case on Friday night. At at midnight became the longest government shutdown. The day began with the president rejecting what Lindsey Graham had talked about over the weekend. And I brought this up an our number one Lindsey Graham was on Fox News channel yesterday. And he suggested, hey, let's open the government for three weeks while Democrats and the White House they can figure out how to strike a deal on border security. We have some innovation. Of a wall. That's what Lindsey Graham proposed and Lindsey Graham has been very supportive of the president, the president has interest separate fashion been very friendly and supportive of Lindsey Graham. But guess what today? Trump said no not going to happen. So rejected Lindsey Graham. Trump said I rejected. Yes, I'm not interested. I want to get it solved. I don't want to just delay. It. And Lindsey Graham suggestion came after Trump said that he would not immediately declared national emergency, which Graham had also. Unsuccessfully advised him to do so Lindsey Graham it suggests that emergency. I I don't think in national emergency should be declared. It doesn't rise to the level of that is important is crucial. Yes. Is there a crisis on multiple levels? Yes. Is it national emergency worthy that technical terminology and the ability of the president to declare such it doesn't rise to that? And again, careful what you wish for because it would set a precedent where the next democratic president could then who the hell knows declare national emergencies for whatever. I don't wanna see that game played. I don't wanna see that. That's a slippery slope opened up. I want that slope closed what the ropes up on that slippery slope. I don't think it's beneficial. I think I'll come back to haunt and bite. So Graham, listen grandma's trying to play politics here. He's trying to dance very carefully on the very fragile is here. Trump wants the wall. I want the wall. Make sense the wall to wall. On.
