"It was like four things on the list and money was fourth. That's all i'm saying if it was really about. Hey i had a good career in houston. i'm happy. I just wanna win a championship. Go out on top bounce back. you know. i'll just go. i'll let i'll let my wagon on somebody else. I mean some people thought he would. I take the minimum or something. You know what i mean anything just to play for good rain and have a chance super bowl right and he said i guess that's what that might akon. Dreer tweet has something to do. It is money is mighty. Conrad have anything to do with money greenback. I thought that was a bird. No no no no but but he tweeted. Little alex guy. It was something like that all right. Anyway let's move. Let's move broke the mic again. It keeps fall in math for those watch us on our video before i do anything. It just keeps. I gotta get a new bolt or something like that strict heat a bulky room. Nah no. I'm putting it in line noah but it keeps falling but but i'm smooth with it. You can even tell on the radio. I know screen. i saw. Actually we did hear allow dominate the background. Reagan was phys dale. Not like i know. You're not handy so the next what's next. What are your daughters. come in. Nick fixed things that i got a guy who takes care of that kind of this. I'm not as rob rob's heads you ever fell rob's head you ever sucrose is talked about soft. I mean it's like aww pillow pillow valet do any work by now less rob speaking. You're in la. Let's go to la The nets i mean. Not the nets the clippers who are the nets of la. They had a disappointing loss. And i'm not gonna make too much out of a february loss. Especially since their record is good. They've played pretty well issue. They've played pretty well pretty bad the way they lost. I mean they were up seven with eight minutes left which you know obviously and today the nba on right right but still and they lost to the milwaukee bucks. They got outscored scored nine in the last four minutes. Didn't hit a score point or hit a bucket. Every shot up through. Brian york wallet. They've been the best three point shooting team in the league. But here's the thing. Rob there legit initial worry you jump shooting team their twenty fifth in the nba and free throw a tip so obviously they're not driving and getting on the basket to grind. Throw these never paint rob so now they lead the league in three. Point percentage shooting the three. But as you know. I don't care how will you shoot it. Uc see steph curry. Have off nights. So you're going to have off nights old cliche live by the three three. That didn't make that up for no reason christmas again. That's why people have fell for the most most of basketball history that a jump shooting team couldn't win the championship now. Today's era that's different. But still like you say that cliche holds true. I wanna throw a few numbers at you from kawhi and ask you a pointed question about him. Kawhi leonard is the fourth worst. He has the four in terms of clutch minutes in the nba. And you know that's like the last five minutes gains within five points.

"It worth having him around at that point like all you're doing is like creating this story line. There's just going to be sort of hovering over your locker room. And like why do you want to have that around. So i think that that's sort of what it came down to was once. They made a decision. He's not going to be here next year. You know you have to start to look what value was the team and when the practice guy shows okay like he's better than haskins you know. Then what are you doing. All you're doing is just letting that storyline linger around the players. That are the player around. A group of players is trying to get in the playoffs. Dreer jim harbaugh was presented with a contract at michigan. I can't find anything saying he's agreed to it or there's been negotiations. Which makes me curious a. Do you think jim harbaugh makes the leap to the nfl. And be what about dabo. Sweeney joining trevor lawrence in jacksonville. Gimme a percentage chance that happens. We'll start with harbaugh Yeah my understanding is like and i think there were signs here that he was staying You know number one. You had firing the defensive coordinator Don brown number two minor standing was. He's he's told other people. He's more hands out with the quarterback next year. And i don't think you're running around telling everybody that You know other people staff that if If you're planning on leaving and i think what the extension sort of came down to it. It's funny because i was talking to people about this. I i might. I from what i heard he had. He did sniff around some of the. Nfl jobs What are we really gonna come down to was. Was he going to take a pay cut at michigan. And i if if that was presented to him is this the one guy who would actually go into a contract here to college. And you guys. Don't doug hard that would be do recruiting everything else. But is this the one guy who is willing to screw you. I'm not taking that extension. It just going to a contract year. So i think that was sort of the question there at the end and it looks like they're going to get an extension done now but he definitely sniffed around some of the nfl jobs. And i think the bears job would have been one that he would great interest in and obviously matt nagy and ryan. Pace does save themselves. The played down the stretch here The jets their owner. What he's hot. Johnson long had sort of an application with harbaugh And so i that there were up. There may have been some opportunity form there but you know obviously it looks like you stay in michigan based on his actions over the last week As for daboh to jacksonville. God is it interesting I will say this though. I haven't heard anything solid on the jaguars pursuing Davos twenty. I have heard something. Solid on the jaguars presumed pursuing urban meyer. And so. I think that there's a possibility that urban meyer winds up there. I'm not saying he's going to. But i minor thing is. There's been communication between the sides..

Ultracold Soup: Meet The 'Superfluid' States Of Matter

"Or at quang. I am ready to go back to school with you. Which honestly dreer great. We would be good lab competitive. Yeah we will be competitive but we be great together. I think and so the science concepts. We're going to unpack. Today is states of matter. You know some of those other states of matter. You didn't learn about in science class rights so the physicist i called up to explain this is martin's veer line at mit. and what. i find hilarious. How martin is he said when it comes to his own kid. He actually prefers to keep this particular science lesson. Pretty simple to assam like. Oh yeah you the gas liquid solid bam. Leave it at that you know. He's seven and states of matter is really just a way to describe how a group of particles think atoms or molecules etc move which is sort of beautiful and collective and different from what you would gifts by looking just at a single particle and changes in temperature and pressure can cause those particles to move differently and change their behavior right. We see the super easily with water. That's right in the liquid phase water molecules slip and slide past each other but we humans quickly learned that if you lower the temperature the particles slowdown bam. We see is appear and we fridges. And we're very excited about. That actually was a huge deal hundred years ago to make ice and if we go in the opposite direction heat water. The particles move faster and farther apart and eventually the h. two o. Molecules breakaway and dissipate into the air as water vapor humidity. That's right it is already a miracle in itself. Water exists in these three different states that we can see those states at temperatures that we can reach as a humans in the kitchen. But here's the thing we can only do so much in our kitchen. Speak right speakers though there. But there's a limited range of temperature and pressure that even you can achieve in your kitchen mattie and there are states of matter beyond this okay like do you remember plasma who ya. Sometimes it's called the fourth state of matter and it can happen when matter gets heated to a super high temperature like electrons rips from atoms which actually allows plasma to conduct. Electricity super cool. Lightning is plasma. Plasma is wild. It is wild. Yeah and if we were to go in the other direction to an extreme if martin son were to ask dad what can happen at a temperature much cooler than ice. Is there something else. I might start telling him about these superfluid states of matter which is exactly what martin's studies at mit these superfluids states of matter that we're long predicted but not easily observed in nature. So how many states of matter are out there. Well we don't actually know martin want to even commit to a number. When i asked him this question he actually said ouch. The is apparently no end to the series of interesting new. Twist that nature gives us to to find your states of matter. We just are digging as we speak. We're digging into this all the time and that's because in theoretical physics. You can use math to predict things that experimental physicists haven't observed yet and i say yet because in the last few decades scientists have successfully coaxed atoms under extreme laboratory conditions to enter other states of matter states that could have useful applications for future technologies awesome. Okay let's get this. Emily like how do they do. This kind of lab can had to exist for these other states of matter to emerge. I'm so glad you asked. They had to get cold. Ultra cold we work in the neno. Kelvin regime for breakfast ano- kelvin. So you might ask what so. That's actually very called. It's a billion times cold interstellar

"Salmon. Diane interacting acting us on vehicle. I put it up under the driver's side Rear Wheel and I've been tracking him for about a month and a half Jeff. Daniel also admitted to helping Michael Take those surveillance photos. Who took the pictures Michael did okay? WHO's camera mine? But Danielle denied that all this elaborate spying escalated into a murder plot instead. She said it was simply preparation for her pending divorce. And I told the attorney about it in the attorney said Whoa. You're good because he said that's good evidence she wanted to be able to just have leverage and be able to embarrassing. Daniel told the detectives another reason was plain old curiosity. I had to see for myself that it was a girl they proclaim. How did you know why because of cheating on? That's the big question right. You're doing it for four years and why why did break your heart. I think I still love. My husband still have feelings for him. What's more Danielle said? She and Michael had stopped their or spying weeks before the shooting. Detectives also asked about those text messages which they found so troubling. Danielle said they were all in fun. They first first question Danielle about the tax. Michael sent her one to blow his head off and then put in hurt just for good measure. You remember him saying that I don't eat but he said it before he would say things. I call kill. They then asked Aniello about the messages his sheet sent back to him. I'm so close to introducing them both. Today's I remember saying that. I didn't have daisy with me though at the time nor would I do anything with a gun. I mean I think I was trying to impress Michael in a weird way. Do you think that they're they're joking. Working with each other or do you think it's real. I asked the ideal that very question. Why why are you saying this and she just said Oh you know? I'm just trying to some tough. So she denied is to be for real. But that's not the way Sam sister sought when detectives showed those tax to Cindy. She was dumbstruck. I could not believe what I was reading. This is someone who's been in my family for almost thirteen years even talking about it with you now. I have chills. Those tax. She said proved just how much Danielle hated Sam and wanted him out of the way and she's convinced Danielle manipulated. Michael to feel the same way. Do you think that Daniel had anything and to do with your brother's death but she somehow directly associated. I think she is. I hope dreer as much if not more responsible council than the man that actually shot him Cindy told detectives she believed hatred wasn't Danielle's only motive that she was also driven by that age old incentive tentative. I believe it was the money to divorce him. In split half of it is one thing but to get all of it. I think it was money. I think it was always money. Just over a million dollars. In fact there was a substantial amount of money that she was going to gain if same. Turn up that and Dan. That's exactly what happened. We asked Daniel dreer to sit down with us for an interview both she and her attorney declined but during Daniels interview with the detectives she emphatically denied. Having anything to do with Sam's murder I would never kill my husband. I would never kill and the man who pulled the the trigger supported Danielle's claim of innocence in no uncertain terms acted on my own and this is all on my own. So you're indicate that Daniels only involvement was in order to help you. You basically get dirt on her husband to help with the divorce nothing to do with harming him but michaels response didn't sway Cindy Lutts. I didn't believing I think it was protecting her. I think he would have done anything for her. Cindy believes that includes lying about Danielle being involved. In Sam's Sam's murder and Cindy wasn't alone. Do I believe that she was part of the murder scheme. Yes Sarasota County lead homicide prosecutor. Her Karen Fraley League believe Daniel Manipulated Michael to kill Sam. She's very manipulative person. And she was able to manipulate Michael Minor. And there's a dead man because of that the question now before the prosecutor could she prove it in court coming up. We'll one lover betray another. We were hoping that he would contest. Had said. Hey what to tell you the truth and had the lover left behind ponders what might have been was he. The one here is without a doubt.

"Twenty four hours after Sam dreer had been shot. His condition began to deteriorate rapidly. Sam MM sister Cindy was there when the family decided to take him off. Life support hated it. I thought it was one of my children left the much. Were you able to be with SAM. Were you able to hold his hand and say goodbye. I did you say to him. I made him a promise that the people responsible what's before his murder would would pay for it. The News of Sam's passing hit Diane McKnight hard when Pine cone still thinking. Maybe there's still some hope that he can survive this. But when I heard that I knew that I was never gonNA see Sam's great niece. Aubrey cake did make it to the hospital in time but she made sure to be at Sam's funeral general the bagpipes. I still remember to this day. Did it make you really proud. In that moment yeah. I'm still proud of him. Full Fire Department honors were bestowed upon the admired young lieutenant and it was like the whole community came out to pay their respects. It was very humping very very humbling but along with the tears. There was tension by now Sam's family and friends had learned Danielle's lover had shot shot. Sam No one could believe it but she even head of boyfriend or that. It was Roy friend that killed him. People didn't even want her at the funeral but the drama didn't in and they're sitting not far from Danielle was the other woman. was that awkward with Danielle being at the funeral the wife and the mistress estrus. Yes it was but I felt it was more important for me to be there than worry. About how awkward I felt and to her surprise. Sam's family embraced Diane. They all receive people in fact they invited me to come up and sit with them. She's she's truly a lovely person and I think she made him happy and he deserves to be happy. You've come down. Pretty hard on Dagnon for her affair. Sam was also having an affair yes do you condemn him for for that behavior as well. No I don't think he intended to meet someone I don't think he intended to have an affair. He met Diane. He'd known her three months. That's a far cry in a world worlds apart from Danielle seeking a man on Ashley Madison and having a long term affair with him for four years in the weeks following the funeral detectives McDonald and Shaw Barack continued their investigation. They had their shooter but they also had lingering questions about whether Danielle may have somehow been involved. Obviously one of the first things comes to mind. The wife has a hand in this. She's she's linked. She's gotTa have something to do with it. And as McDonald and Schaal Barack sifted through the evidence they became more confident. They were on the right. Track doc what they discovered stunned even these two seasoned investigators for over a month. Danielle had been spying on both. Sam and Diane Daniel was just totally obsessed with what Sam was doing which went beyond anything that I've seen before investigations. What's more it appeared to them? That Danielle had persuaded Michael to help her. They had basically stalked them. They actually put a tracker under vehicles. This is spy equipment. Correct Sheriff's deputies discovered it in the wheel. Well of SAM's pickup police also found evidence that both Danielle and Michael were taking surveillance photos of Salmon. Diane this is a photo taken of them on Sam's boat in this one. They're on Diane's balcony. Michael would've been somewhere across the lake there and that's where he would have been hiding in. The bushes. Seems like a perfect spot. Actually if you wanted to spy on some absolutely but what detectives said the couple only got bolder from there. They discovered evidence. Michael had brazenly broken into Diane's apartment and videotape the inside inside the belly of the beast. He's narrating I believe is first words. Were I'm in the belly of the beast and as I thing where pans over was of the the alarm pad where it wasn't armed. That could have been bad as Michael documented every aspect of Diane's personal life poking around her drawers her refrigerator even inside her bathroom. Police said Danielle played lookout in this text. Message to Michael Danielle wrote wrote. Get Out of there if you aren't already getting bad feeling. And he's doing it at the request basically of Daniel but what detectives active found most alarming. Were the text messages. Mike Lynn. Danielle sent each other Michael Minor Rights. I want to blow his head off and then put to on her just for good measure he goes on to say Bang Bang done. I won't though because it's wrong. Danielle later responded. You would not and could not because that that would be illegal. That was definitely disturbing in another text. Danielle referred to her handgun which he called daisy she wrote. I am so close to introducing them both to daisy. Michael responded ha ha. We can do it together as a date smiley face in yet another she wrote I hate them. With every inch of me revenge will be mine and it will be very very sweet. It was very obvious that Daniel had some kind of hatred toward San that there was that she wanted to hurt him and based on those tax six messages. It seemed clear to detectives that she had persuaded Michael to feel the same way. I absolutely think she poisoned Michaels mind. As far as what Sam was everything he knew about. Sam was that he was a violent person. He was described to him as drunk as a cheater as it liar. That knowledge came from one person. One person alone. It was Danielle. Did you have any the evidence as you kept investigating that Sam was abusive or violent towards out. There was no evidence of that whatsoever. Danielle definitely control. trawl over Michael Minor. She did manipulate him. That you've been filleted him to Porto FO- killing SAM. I don't know detectives McDonald and Shopper realized they needed to pay Daniel dreer another visit. We're going back to find out. What is your intent? What is your involved in this coming up it? Someone have a million reasons to commit. Does this tracking devices surveillance photos sneaking into an apartment sounded more like a couple of private is than a plumber and a marketing getting director. Diane recalled a time. She and Sam were eating at this restaurant. When out of Nowhere Danielle appeared? Also this woman comes up up from behind Sam and she said I'm Danielle the soon to be ex. You must be the next. Oh Awkward. Yeah I just wanted to get out of there. Air Danielle van left them without incident. Did you think you were being followed. No I thought it was just a big coincidence and out of all the places like now I know why she was there. This is like marital espionage. Exactly it's exactly like that. They were playing spy gangs. Now it was up to McDonald and Shell Barack to find out. If all those spy games somehow developed into a conspiracy to commit murder uh-huh I became very suspicious that she had part in this homicide. Detective sat down with Danielle and reported interviews with her on three. We separate occasions from the very first interview. Danielle willingly acknowledged that she and Michael had been tracking.

"While Sam dreer clung to life in the ICU. Diane McKnight remained at the crime scene wondering who could have been responsible for his shooting. How scared are you knowing that? There's a shooter on the loose. I was terrified. Diane told detectives about the strange man. She had seen multiple times around her apartment complex. The same man who appeared moments after Sam was shot they said could you describe them as described them little. Diane no a man fitting that very same description had just been arrested. He had approved sheriff's deputies moments after they arrived on scene and confessed fast to the shooting. The deputy head him in the back of the patrol car already told us that he made statements that he was the shooter. Did you feel like this could be an easy one case closed or did you think there's gotTa be more to this story. Never needs to one. There's always more to the story. The man identified himself as Michael Minor. Detectives does McDonald and Xiao Barack immediately brought him down to the sheriff's Office for questioning. He's very distraught but he's willing to talk to us and we were very much ready to listen to him. Michael outlined for detective the details of the shooting. He started by insisting it was all an accident. I never intended to pull that trigger. Ah But detectives weren't so sure after all Michael Shot Sam not once but four times one of the shots was to the the back of Sam's head and so Sam is laying here and Michael is right on top of and basically giving him the final shot he would've had been. That's what the evidence indicates one shot madman accident. That three or four shots that he actually fired. That was no accident at all but detectives wanted to know if this wasn't an accident. Why then did Michael Shoot? Sam Got all these pieces to the puzzle and tried to fit them all together. That's when Michael revealed something that would turn the case on its head. He told detectives about an affair. But it wasn't the affair between Salmon Diane. It was an affair. He was having with the victim's victim's wife Daniel dreer they had been having an affair for four years. It was a mind spinning moment. Detectives had just discovered the victim. Sam Damn had been cheating on his wife Danielle now they were learning. Danielle had also been cheating on. Sam Everybody here is involved with somebody else. It was interesting thing to say the least and challenging for detectives who now had to contend with a second affair Michael minor the plumber thirteen years younger than Danielle told them. The two had met on Ashley Madison. A website for husbands and wives looking to cheat the websites. Slogan Life is short. Have having a fair. This was someone looking to have an affair. They both were. Yep but Michael insisted this was no casual fling. After all the affair had lasted four years. What's more he told detectives he had fallen in love with Danielle found my soulmate? It was so wonderful this girl. He was smitten. I mean he was totally obsessed with her in love with her. He went on to say that on the day of the shooting he decided it was finally time to talk to Sam man-to-man. He wanted to come clean about his love for Danielle. He wants to Confront Sam. Basically tell him that he's the other man I can do this. Go Up there and tell them you know seeing seeing your wife that day Michael said he tracks Sam down and found him in the parking. Lot of Diane's ends apartment complex. He also said he brought a gun because he had no idea how Sam would react. If he's me's firearm. You know I tend to go up there and just scare them. But according to Michael his Manoa Mono was Sam didn't go as planned. When Sam saw Michael Michael was armed he fled run? Don't run you know. I'm trying to like freaking him to talk to me. Michael ran after Sam these stairs. Here's he said at some point while the two were in the Stairwell Sam turned Michael claims that he was in fear and closed. His eyes just fired his gun then he comes toward me and I just I just I just pulled the trigger and I'm so sorry with all the things he's he's telling you he's in a relationship with Danielle. Do you start to think we need to talk to Daniel dreer. Yes so the extent was let's find out. Let's hear Danielle L. Story so detective shellback left Michael and headed to the hospital where Danielle had been waiting for. UPDATES ON SAM's condition. All Danielle had been told was that that Sam had been shot. No one told her. By whom when I got over there she was crying. She was very upset. Detectives recorded the interview. We're trying on to piece together. What would happen? Call me at first detective. Shall Barack didn't reveal that he knew about Danielle's lover Michael Miner liner or that. It was Michael. Who Shot Sam instead? He started by asking Danielle about her marriage. To Sam. Danielle candidly described it as troubled troubled. Who have been not getting along for? Daniel also explained that she knew Sam was having an affair. Despite Sam's best efforts to conceal seal it. Did you know where he went today. Today I'm sure he went to his girlfriend's here. He always goes to her house. Danielle van admitted that she too was unfaithful unfaithful. She was pretty straightforward. Told me about the affair. I shouldn't have done it. We should cheat little by little. The detectives lead Danielle to believe they were focusing their investigation on her lover. Michael Michael as what so we have Michael. It wasn't the reaction the detective was expecting. He found Danielle's tone to be strangely flat. What and UNEMOTIONAL? That was troubling to me that was disturbing to me. I can't believe he did this. Danielle went on to say she had no idea. Michael Plan Plan to talk to Sam that day. Michael Never said anything about loan going over there but detectives were skeptical. They wondered if Danielle Danielle knew more about Michael's intentions than she was letting on at this point I don't know to believe it or not. You're not done with Danielle dreher. We're not though with her for for the time being. Shall Barack left Danielle at the hospital to be with Sam's family. It was up to Danielle to reveal the identity of the shooter and explain the sordid the details of how she was connected to him. She said I need you to sit down. I have something to tell you. And the hairs on the back Komo next up. I Cindy learned salmon. Danielle were getting a divorce. Then that both Danielle and Sam were having affairs. Most shocking shocking of all it was Danielle's lover. Who Shot Sam? Did I just hear what I just heard. Four adults in snared by lies the deceit one clinging to life but this tangled story was about to get a whole lot more twisted coming up. Danielle was just totally obsessed with what Sam was doing. which will be on anything that I've seen before investigations.

"It was working. This is merely an attempt of the Trump folks to have some kind of foreign success, Nick Schifrin. What do you think of that comment? So the agreement that we had was JCP way, which we call the raw the Iran deal, which was focused on Iran's nuclear program. So this was fundamentally at its core limiting the nuclear program and having certain sunsets in the deal in exchange for sanctions relief. And the critics of. That program who were in government, some of them in congress, certainly and who are now in charge of Iran policy, say that's not enough. The deal needs to be not only limiting Iran's nuclear program, and not only limited it for a certain number of years, but permanently but also limiting Aranesp ballistic missile program, which is the largest in the region, Iran's support for proxies across the region. Think has Bala think the who the's in Yemen, Iran's presence in Syria and the entire nuclear program and the list goes on and on. And so that's what the Trump administration says that, that deal was simply not enough even though, yes, Ron was a biding by the restrictions in that nuclear deal. Very quick point that we haven't raised yet, which which is Japan's role in this in this debate right now as Nancy mentioned, the company that owned the one of the ships, that was hit was Japanese that ship was hit almost exactly as prime. Minister Shinzo Ave was meeting with total hominy, the supreme leader in Iran. And if that was planned, then that's a clear statement that Iran has no interest in dealing with either Shinzo Ave as a mediator, or President Trump's offer of, mediation that the other possibility is that we got a very public statement from the tola. And of course, this, this ship explosion yesterday, we don't know exactly what was said in private. And so we should be careful about exactly how to interpret the events of yesterday. Let's shift gears now and talk about Sudan, where unrest, and violent shook the capital city of Khartoum Sudanese security forces attacked protesters there more than one hundred people were killed, but limited compromises have been reached between the transitional military council and the opposition. Leaders here is the envoy, muffing dreer speaking to reporters on Tuesday in Khartoum, the agreed to uphold what they have. Needed upon before the suspension of the negotiations. Nets Yousef what is going on? Can you give us some of the backstory of y Sudan is in the situation right now said this began in December of last year in an effort to essentially get rid of the pre longstanding President, Omar the shar, and it turned into a pro democracy uprising if you will in the streets of Hutto minnows, quite an brazen, and bold and peaceful effort. And so it had been going that way relatively there been talks between representatives for the. Testers and, and talks with the military that had taken over after show had stepped down about how to go about creating government post this longtime leader. And the feeling was that you needed to a long time of transition, because the corruption and the practices of the Bouchard government were so seeped in that it would take time to work its way out. And then on June third. There were these very violent protests in which a hundred people at least were killed potties being found in the Nile, a really gruesome scene. And so the, the prospect of talks between the military and, and, and these protesters really collapsed because that there was that trust had gone with it. And so suddenly, the military is talking about having a government and nine months instead of three years. And, and, and there was a breakdown in talks about how to go forward because it was a feeling of distrust, from the military and an protest movement that really didn't know how to work with this transitional military council..

The town with no beer

"The job of a correspondent is sometimes loan, sim often morbid occasionally dreer and is Indonesia, correspondent David Lipson discovered, what on Simon recently, there's nothing worse after a long hot day than an entire city with no bien. He prepared this report from the disturbingly, dry city of cheer. Bon with apologies to slim dusty away from the fluffy seabreeze of Bali much of Indonesia, is, as they say, as hot as nine sons, it's also humid, and often grimy as a correspondent you spend a good deal of time in the thick of it whiting through that swampy area liking, tripods cameras, and backpacks through the smog or dust. It's great fun. But it's also hard going thankfully, there is a queue Bintan be it's watery easy. Drinking pills now. Not sure you drink it outside of Indonesia, but here it works the. The problem is it's getting hotter and hotter to get your hands on a I noticed it in Jakarta a year ago, the hero convenience store near home. It's fridges conveniently stocked with ample, and the ale was without warning. Emptied out on. We were told it was out of respect for the holy month of Ramadan, but the b never came back. Nothing so lonesome. Dreer then stand in about all the pub with no biz. More recently, we realized the same thing had happened at the brand new domestic terminal in Jakarta, just sugary drinks in the fridge. Is there on a particularly long layover a few weeks, back, cameramen Phil? And I slipped the entire length of the massive terminal before eventually finding a restaurant slash bar on the menu. There was no beer but we asked the waiter, who sent for the manager who told us in hushed tones. Yes. There is some available. We ordered two cans, and when they arrived, they were in disguise wrapped in toilet paper to hide their true identity. We drank them out of coffee, mugs. And when the Bill arrived, the be wasn't on it, they had to be paid for in cash with no paperwork. This is all another symptom of Indonesia's slide toward Islamic conservatism, in the same way that far right groups in astrology threaten boycotts of halal products. In Indonesia, the militant alter conservatives threaten companies who engage in deviant, practices, lack ceiling, be it has a chilling effect on sales and not in the good way. I started writing this report after a particularly hot and stinky assignment, far from home involving large piles of rotting fish guts in the Japanese port city of cheer. Bon a beer we hoped might go someway to washing down that dry fishy taste in the back of our, noses and throats, but alas during Ramadan, we weren't allowed to partake in the hotel bar undeterred. We figured surely in a port city of some two and a half million people, they'd be sailors Kane for a beer after five months at sea. So along with my trustee, thirsty, cameramen Phil. We had a quiet chat to the Bill boy and hailed a cab. Okay. So we're not taxi. We have just tried to go to what were short would be the. One spot way, we could have a beer and, and somebody's eight it's closed for this month. So trustee Texan driver is trying to find another place. He's tapping away as phone right now. SMS is yeah. Your friend group. It's a group surely with the power of what's up consolidating the combined knowledge of cheer bones entire taxi fleet. We couldn't file. Because sentece of All Saints fan restaurant, Kilda would try, so what's what? Case balcony, Bah. On the main Stroup going up a pool stick case. View caffeine county. Not doing fasting month. Okay. Okay. Another disappointment. Did that. With no. We was starting to lose hope. Smackers KFC. John, mole hula trappings of western society Pizza Hut. But be. Be Dana breakthrough on the group message. Skopje. Thanks. So. Yes. We're on. So we made a beeline on the road. And sure enough right in the corner of the back of an empty Cup AGA. It looks like a pug. Totally empty. We paid out cabbie hefty tip until two seats. Okay. So he's poured a long neck into a missile jug. We have two coffee cups city in front of us. And a bowl of ice. So we'll put the old is seen how coffee cups. The old. Nope. Jug. That's it tears us. We go. Home is worth. That. Oh. Nothing gets between a correspondent story David Lipson. "Meals every day with me, she won't have lunch dinner breakfast. She won't tell me where she goes when she gets out of the house and me, of course at that. At that time, I was a whole dreer I was twenty two twenty three. And I was starting my career as a journalist demonstrations students demonstrations were studying up inside the in the streets of Tehran. First thing I wanted to do was to go and follow this demonstrations. And she was on the opposite to lock me up in the house and preventing me from going outside. Not only your age, but your whole career what brought you to Iran in the first place depended on that kind of independence. And that kind of adventurous scares, and I was so curious I was, sir. Sti for for everything. And I always had this question in my mind. What if I was in the shoes of those young people that I was going to meet I could have been one of them at the end of the day. My dad was Iranian. And when I was a little kid, my parents, even considered. Moving back to Iran and living in Iran. And to me was so fascinating to realize that we we were so close, but so different in the same time. I was raised in France with leaving on a daily basis with the notion of democracy freedom. I never challenged those ideas, but very quickly. I realized that the young people of my age in Iran, actually, their whole life their whole daily life was devoted to this struggle for democracy. This fights for more freedom from for more equality between men and women, and that was really striking to me. I was realizing that anything actually anything was political from the corner of the lipstick a girl we put up on her lips to the wish you would put her scarf on her head hair outside a little bit. It wouldn't already be something very provocative like a translation even choosing the name. Of your newborn is kind of a political statement. If you choose a name like Fatima or the Harare, much more oriented towards the religion like name, it would mean that you're much more pro Islamic rep oblique pro authorities. But if you choose a name like as a day as a day means freedom, or if you choose a name like serious, Dr us like name of the previous kings of Iran issue. Even pick up a name like are the sheer coming from a beautiful book by an old writer fail to see. It would be your way of opposing the system because it's such a rigid system with a lot of restrictions that you cannot go to the street and direction challenge it, but you can do it in your own subtle way. And that's what I learned with these young people how the group under a very limited system limited framework, but how from. In their early years. They learned how to navigate around the obstacles they are facing here. It would be good for us to assume that not every listener, but many listeners don't know the history, and maybe we just outlined some of the big points here. So what the revolution was about initially how it ended up and then the Iran that you found when you went there. So they're revolution happened in nineteen seventy nine, and it was definitely an aim to get rid of the monarchy of the Shah in the sense that people wear deprived from a lot of freedom political freedom. There was a big gap. So in the socioeconomic like, the very rich and the very poor back, then the shower scene as sort of two of the west two of the US. Okay. So people felt their own identity was stolen historically was the Shah what role if any did the US? Play in installing the shower supporting the shot. So what happened is if we go back a little bit just like a turning point that that I think is relevant in in the history of relationship between Iran and US like in nineteen fifty three. There was a Khuda task stage by the US and Great Britain against the prime minister at that time Mossad there was much more nationalistic who wanted to take distance with the west..

"Now live in New York watch the Knicks more all how's that going? I kinda like the guys that they have the teen. Yeah. Very good. But you know, I think you guys have team that you could like if you do it. I am letting myself embrace the fact that Alonzo dreer one of our up and coming young guys, you know, happened. We got on Twitter is in vacs in Asian American man who I could not be prouder. Welcome to this fine city better. Not a break this to you. But we've seen until you know, some people have trouble some have trouble. I know we have a relationship I've been coach you up on that. But I'll first name the Jaguars Jacksonville. Got crushed thirty two nine by the titans last night, bow and Ian Rapoport reports today that Blake Bortles likely gone after the season the Jags Nita start over and how much of this lands on had coached. I mean, they're in a I think what is a tricky situation where they were winning now everywhere except. At quarterback. The thing about a win. Now roster is though it turns into a loose soon. Roster just because of the nature of what the NFL is injuries and everything else. Yup. More road is interesting to me because very rarely do you have a team that goes from an AFC championship game to what the expectations were this and to fail is colossally. They had this season. And you don't start looking at that guy being like, what are you provide? I have excuses to offer on behalf of Doug Marrone. If you go just to the left side of that offensive line, the left tackle is a fourth stringer. The left guard is a second stringer the center the second-stringer quarterback two seconds finger. They lost their own quarterback is the starter. Now seems to be the starter and perhaps the future starters. Well, but wide receivers pats catching tight ends. They don't have the talent. But what I don't have both is an affirmative reason to say that this guy is adding much. I don't know what excites someone if you're a Doug Marrone fan. The thing about the collapse of this team this year, you really have to go back to the question of what are the? The answer Larry negative things that happened as a result of you starting Blake Bortles because you remember Seattle start talking about that whole thing Frank bit. It was the idea that the defense felt that they were being held to a standard of perfection while the offense was expected to be somewhat mediocre, right. But the defense had to always be right? They were saying that about offense that had Russell Wilson. So imagine what it's like every day showing up on the Jacksonville. Look you saw what happened last night. They don't like I know it's Thursday night game. And everybody else kind of I don't even know quits the way to put it. They look like they didn't have anything left because what you're asking them to do on a weekend week out basis is totally unrealistic. What you as that offense to do really is just don't be the worst offense we've ever seen? They could barely do that. Yeah. The margin for error either last week when we saw how they played the colts. Right. The defense pitched a shutout. The defense could not have been better in this game. It did seem like it was accumulated bunch of stuff that led to a very talented group of players not being nearly as. Energized or as good at their jobs, and I do wonder lake Bortles leaves the Jaguars. Now will probably will definitely at this point. They will have a ninth losing season in eleven years all of that goodwill from last year's it's just well hold on this question. How much better do you get by getting Blake Bortles slash Cody Kessler out of there because there's a chance that they could make a significant improvement. Just my getting way decent replacement. Like, I'm not saying they gotta go out. There is somehow find a way trade and get Philip rivers or something like that. They might be able to just go get a regular old, dude. Right..

I would have told you the fact that the gun was used in the burner, but the bullet, the bullet Angela found the bullet. So wouldn't it make sense that goes killed railway riot. Then Angela found the bullet to set you up. But the thing is, I don't know if tasha was contemplating whether or not this is a this is a scenario because. Tariq use the gun. Yeah. So like seeing, no. Right. You knew what you were still affected? Because I think all of the cheating and everything else that was going on, she still she's still was affected and she probably had it was like this motherfucker them put me in another position. I could be with Terry at take my family out of this and have a good life be under beat somewhere. You know tanning and I could be completely out of this and you just kinda see her snap back to reality and be like my husband. You know, he ain't kill nobody. Right. I mean, it was very tempted you could tell it was tempting right? A'munity immunity is is is like the the golden key right there. The power mad, but then she also realized immunity for her. Does it mean immunity for Tariq. She snitch is and guess, immunity. She'll be good, but to recall still go down for the murder, even though Ray Ray killed Raina so might go down for Ray Ray murder, even though he's a thirty copies to look up. So. I thought it was ill that she goes back to the apartment. Angela goes there again. So she walks again that she's just like a, you know what? I, I'm tired. They figure out if they're giving him unity. That means they're probably coming after you Angela, and they just want me to sweeten the deal to try to get a confession out to be that links to you. So I thought it was ill what she was just by go. I'm leaving y'all to. He has said, I'm going to Terry silver who really loves me. But you know, the biggest revelation of this episode that name is dilatoriness.
