"I don't think that you're selling high for getting an RB three. You GotTa Get uh Gaskin I would sell them for Antonio Gibson. In fairness most of these guys we rank from twenty four to thirty including Daryl Henderson and probably miles. Yup. Definitely Miles asking all of these guys have out scored Kenyan drake this season, right? Yeah. Not Be easy to trade him for them. You're getting more than that that I wouldn't do it. Well then you may have depreciating asset on your hands that's going to be worth even less next week. I. Feel like Miles Gaskin should be head of draken. Henderson. Though though at least ahead of Henderson again is the lead back. Right. I think and that's the thing and it depends on how you view drake in relation to like the touches, the Henderson and gaskin going to get. Because Drake's going to get fifty, let's say just stays the same he's going to get fifteen carries a week. He's going to struggle with red zone work because collar Murray and chase edmunds it's going to take the passing gas work. Right. Well, there'll Henderson's. Even, in this timeshare, because the rams are now the most heavy team in the NFL is going to get close to fifteen touches a week. And seems like you might get more rich. And Kenyan drake or do you think they start going to camakers more? I don't know we don't have any indicate. I would worry more about the cardinals going to chase edmunds more than the rams going to camakers more. You yes. Trays Edmonds has earned touches right. And in the thing with gaskin is like yeah, he's GonNa get twenty touches in games they win the right three of those the rest of the year. Ten carries and five. And you know like realistically that's not saying they're that bad that would give them six six wins on the year. It's now there to you. Okay. So they might win four more the rest of your. Way Off. All right. Well, but at least put at least Gaskin is pretty high. Floor is catching passes every game, right? Can you would rather have GASCO in drake okay. Well I think that's that's a fairly realistic trade. You can do All right. I. Don't know I just selling high. The Kenyan drake is not useless. He's still you said fifteen carries game. He's had more than that four times but maybe the takeaway here is we should be buying low on chase edmunds because perhaps his time is coming where he gets more involved and I you it's just weird. It's weird that they're using edmonds in ways that you. Feel like they should be using drake you know in the passing Game Heath you've pointed out he hasn't always been great in the passing game but well, we talked about this in the off-season. One of the things they did with David Johnson last year when he was having success is he was a lot of his work in the passing game was not coming when he lined up in the Backfield, it was when he was lining up as a wide receiver. That was not something they did with Kenyan drake last year that was something they did chase edmunds last year this year they are doing it again with chase edmunds and they are not doing drake. So I don't like that part is not something where we would expect them to do that with Kenyan drake before. Would you guys like some.

"Talking fireworks. I saw you wrote a blog about it. And it prompted me to think about fireworks. I got in trouble last week because I was playing, but I was I was hammering the folks of camp out at the lake front for like three days to go watch, the forty five minute fireworks show me. Yeah. They may not be able to do it this year. I know that's cutting close to the bone for a lot of folks who consider that part of their family tradition. Maybe high school buddies or whatever it's it's it's part of the fabric. It's fifty five years old that along with the circus. Brid base started together back in nineteen sixty three with schlitz. Yeah. Good old schlitz. Yeah. And then, you know, we have the first Wisconsin. And then, of course, morphed into the US Bank, and here we are sitting here with with no idea with what a month left to decide how we're going to pay for these things, and it's at three hundred fifty thousand dollars which doesn't sound like a whole lot. When you think corporate wise, you know, the people that have backed up in the past to do things like what Miller paid for the naming rights to the ballpark? But that's the gist of the blog. Look look at what's happening in this community because sponsorship dollars aren't there gene pedants done writing checks in New Year's to step up? You know, somebody who worked in the private sector. I it's a time for companies to to kinda cut know the whole lean and mean thing they cut the bottom ten percent every year. That's just normal business practice. They're going to look for ways to to shed some of that stuff. The interesting thing is is. American family. They're going the opposite direction. They're jumping on which is what you want to see from a corporate citizen. But what what should we do here? I mean, what what what people do. There was no fireworks at the lakeville. They just go to their local fireworks. That's what it used to be used to be Cody parks. There was the big thing before nineteen sixty three county parks where they have their little things hills corner. Still goes there's revealed as suburbs do their own. But the fact that the city the size, Milwaukee didn't have a big fireworks show at the late for it is to me, my boy Morgan always had them when I was a kid. So my big question is, okay. So if they don't get a corporate sponsor, should they go on the tax tax Bill. Well, you know, what there is a phone number. And there is an Email address where you can send your donations. If you really feel that strongly about having fireworks. So you think about it? There's enough people right? Sending a buck or to do the math. We could pull it off. So we're gonna talk about I just I was interested. I think a lot of people take that stuff. Really seriously. I'm not a fireworks basher. I love fireworks. But you've got to figure out how to pay the bills on this stuff, and it gets harder and harder for local communities in his eight thirty from the WTMJ breaking news center. "NewsRadio six twenty WTMJ coming up after the news Super Bowl commercials. The three of us will talk through our favorite Super Bowl commercials from years past I wanna talk about your money a little bit. It has been a very interesting month much different than it was to end the year. Financial advisor Brad Allen. From Draken associates is with us on the line. Hello, brad. Hello. How're you doing good? Hey, I enjoy and Tony on the weekends. I hear a lot when I'm driving around. You guys seem to really have a lot of fun. Oh, yeah. It's a lot of fun doing the show. I like how he ribs you and you just give it back to them. Yeah. I know what you gotta do. Right. Right. Hey, let's talk market. So where did the market's close as we closed January? Yeah. Yes. The stocks closed out their best January in thirty years. The S and P five hundred and the Dow rose more than seven percent, the NASDAQ was up more than nine percent. And that kinda followed a pretty turbulent two thousand eighteen last year supposed to their worst year decade five hundred south six percent. The Dow dropped five the NASDAQ four so, you know, really strong start to the year may have some investors hoping for what they call that bad January effect, which is the idea that, you know. A great start to the year means a strong performance going forward for the rest of the year. Hey, Brad, it's Melissa barklay. So an amazing turnaround like we were talking about for the market considering that December was the worst month for stocks nearly ninety years, and I know a lot of people a lot of people. I know they were panicking during that time saying they lost just a ton of money. What's your advice for people? Can they stop panicking and just kind of let it let it right out? Yeah. Yeah. You know, it's really important to consider your time. Horizon. How close are you to retirement as you get older and closer to retirement you want to start to pull back on the risk a little bit younger workers in their twenties and thirties time on their side. They can wait for stocks bounce back. But a big dip on Wall Street, the closer you get to retirement, maybe a couple of years out can have a really big impact on how successful retirement could be. So I always recommend sitting down with a financial advisors financial professionals somebody that can walk you through and and really just stress test your portfolio and put you through good times and bad times. You know that when they actually do happen. You already know what it looks like Brad Allen is with a strike and associates Brad, what do you believe has been driving this positive shift on Wednesday this week that the Federal Reserve? That they would be patient with interest rates. That's a good signal to investors. Now, they may be dialing back on some rate hikes this year. The fed raised rates four times in two thousand eighteen in in the rates don't necessarily directly affect the market, but it's the uncertainty of how many times they're gonna raise them. So the fact that they said they're not going to raise them as much as helping the market in baton keeping an eye on trade talks with China. I mean, that's a big one as well. Corporate earnings looked really strong in January. And like I said historically when P five hundred gained in January. It leads to a strong February read the fed chairman Jerome Powell to your point said, quote, the case for raising rates has weakened somewhat, and we have the luxury of patients in deciding whether to raise rates, again, this seems to get at what you have told us in the past that the market doesn't like instability. They don't like question marks lingering. And if there's a signal that maybe rates won't go up as it. Previously been indicated do investors in general like this sort of news. Yeah. You know in the long run. Uncertainty of how many times the rates are going to go up with anything really in the market. I mean, look at the the trade war, right? So the uncertainty of the trade war is gonna end we're going to figure this out and you see different news topics come out in the market a little bit. So the market is really news driven right now. And any good news about, you know, interest rates are the trade war. It's really going to have a positive impact on on the market. And definitely the earnings reports that are coming out. You know, a lot of them being good that helps as well. So Brad on a day-to-day basis. You never quite know when you look at the stock market's what they're going to be doing. If we start seeing more turbulence on Wall Street. What advice do you give your clients? Yeah. You know? I mean, the average 4._0._1._K took a hit in the fourth quarter of two thousand eighteen dropped about hand percent. Thanks to that market volatility. But according to fidelity, the average four one K balances about ninety five thousand six hundred dollars in the fourth quarter of last year that was down from one hundred and six thousand five hundred and the third quarter. The good news is that shows that a lot of people weren't pulling all their money out. Right. There were still putting. Money into the market, and that's going to be important even through downturns depending on your time horizon that you keep putting money into the market, especially a 4._0._1._K, especially if there's a company maps that's going to be real important going forward. And really just you know, sitting down with somebody that can walk you walk you through and coach you through those different market periods. If you know what to expect when the market goes down in your portfolio. It's gonna be a lot easier for you not to make those split-second decisions pull that money out. You know, Brad, you raise an interesting point. Because as I looked at my 4._0._1._K stuff it was substantially down. If I looked from the second quarter to the end of the fourth quarter, but substantially up if I looked year to year, or if I look from especially two years ago, where we were before the presidential election. Right. It's always that big picture right here. And you look at a small time time period. Yeah. I mean, the market's gonna swing a little bit. But if you look at the overall from where the P or the dour any of the market started a couple of years back and where they are today that's still substantially up. So you have to look at the long term. Mm-hmm. When investing and not the short term, and that can be easier said than done sometimes. But it is really important. Brad Allen, financial advisor, Draken associates. You can hear Brad Antoni. It's kind of like a two man comedy show. Sometimes it's Saturday said one o'clock. It's very good advice. I find myself occasion, actually, staying in the car and running errands because I want to hear you guys finish up a topic. So at Saturday's, one o'clock, always great to have you with us, Brad. Thank you so much. Thank you. I appreciate it. Have a great weekend. It's four twenty seven on WTMJ. Brad Allen is sponsored by numale medical center. "Mike one of the great things about coming to Super Bowl week is the cavalcade of superstars we get to sit and talk with on the set not only in football. But another sports, absolutely. Right. And with that in mind, we're delighted to be joined by pro football hall of fame, Brian Urlacher and Bree, but good ski joining us onset giving us the straight talk. Brought to you by straight talk wireless. Best phones. Best networks, no contracts. A brief course a Special Olympics, Illinois, athletes, O'Brien breath. Thank you both for being here. Thanks for having all I can say is the seat that my son usually sits in has been upgraded with breathe in a a massive, man. And so we're going to start with you as as trae mentioned from Illinois, but you are junior wa Tennessee Wesleyan. And especially Olympic Olympian as well. I know you were diagnosed with autism sensory issues and you've had issues communicating and now you're giving speeches and doing all kinds of how did you overcome all this and get to that point? And then also the athletic side as well. Okay. Well, it was definitely it's definitely been a dirty. I never thought I'd be here. My parents never thought I'd be here. I mean, like you said like, I didn't have you know, I only had meeting with beach. I, you know, didn't have I wasn't able to have those conversations. And so it was really my parents. And my mom really wanted me to get the help that I needed so desperately. And so she was able to work with the school system. And I was able to get therapy speech therapy, social skills, and so I was mainstreamed. I did have a one on one aid from kindergarten through eighth grade. But yeah, I mean, it was just, you know, having those therapies having those supports in just challenging me. And just you know, reaching that, you know, that bar then raising it higher, you know, just just that constant, you know, support really helped me get to where I am today. I'm sorry. I just interrupt for a second having a little bit of here. My daughter was diagnosed with some auditory processing issues and. Through the same things that have helped you come on your way, she she had she had some special therapy and and went through high school until tenth grade. She was mainstream there because of the the therapy in the in the special instructions that she got she actually graduated from high school national Honor Society. On her own. But it just it's so wonderful to see the things that that that you are able to do and the people that are able to help you, and I can speak experience and people that do those things they are they are God's gift to all of us. And so it's just great to see you doing. So well is are you going around? I imagine is moving a lot of people including trae here as well. Bryan, kind of makes us recovering from injuries kind of seem pretty meaningless. Komo go through injury wise, you're going gonna get better. But yet. Her amazing story, and you run the mile and how fast. My best smile was five thirty six. Now, the athletic about how you got into the athletic part of this track to feel so I was going through a really tough time in my life. My in my sophomore year high school, and it was my friend. Elizabeth who was just like, you know, hey, you should come. Join the track team. And I was like I run twelve minute miles writing. I rather go home and go to that. You know, I was just going through with a call situational depression. And you know, but I, you know, she offered me to join and I was just like, okay. I'm really easy going least I try to be. So I was just like, okay. You know, I'll just I'll just see. And she brought me over the coach. And this is what I thought what would happen. I thought he was going to say okay, come back after school tomorrow. And we'll sit down and talk. But he he didn't do that. He automatically. He was like, okay. Welcome to the team. And I thought to myself like what did I get myself into you like I'm on a high school track team? Okay. But I just I tried it out, and you know, with with running and with cognitive behavioral therapy, you know, has really helped me get out of that situational depression. And you know, I thought if I wanted to be good at the sport. I gotta work hard. And so that's what I did. I just worked really really hard. And I just kept up with the running. It just became a love relationship. But I I really I mean, I just I love being a part of it. And I'm so thankful for my friend in my high school coach for letting me join, and I was able to crack varsity my senior year and continuing to run. But that's it is again, Bryan and breer here with us courtesy of United Airlines to discuss special Olympic shared commit with United build a more inclusive society through training programs, Brian how did you get involved in all of this? So I've been involved with special effects drama Khokar. I used to leave. Seventy five tickets every home game so Special Olympics birds some other organizations involved in college under the polar plunge last year. From his last year or at the Lake Michigan. That's not warm. Yeah. This this year either just serving hot dogs. But it's amazing. How many people come out for that? And it's a great thing to be involved in. I've been involved my Khokar when I was playing the whole time so Bray what what's what's your junior? So, you know, it's pretty soon you're out of college. Oh, you're gonna miss it. What's what's the plan? Well, what are you studying and yeah. Well, I'm just taking life as it goes. But I'm I'm studying I may during in social work, and I want a minor in psychology. And I just I want to go out and help other people and I want to make a difference in the world. Sometimes making a difference. Pro athletes, maybe looking up the wrong people. I agree with you. Her story is amazing. This is the first time I've heard it. I knew who she was before we came on here about him. Here story told us now it's amazing story what she's done what she's accomplished to. Absolutely absolutely incredible. And certainly we wish you nothing but the best of luck in your moving people. There's no doubt about it as as Draken attest to it is it is really credible. So you you said you're gonna do life comes at you. Do you have any things that you'd like to attack and things that you just sort of having done so much already so early? What what are the things that you liked to do the most? Well, I also like to sing I sing. I also do Special Olympics sports. So I've done like powerlifting. I've I've done basketball volleyball softball, I used to do rhythmic, gymnastics gymnastics. I'm not any good at it. I don't believe you just so, you know, I don't believe you. But yeah, I mean, I just I just get these amazing opportunities. Just like today. You I just. know, I just I just take life as it comes just I just hope to continue to inspire an advocate for change. And you know, I wanna help others, and you know, and and definitely advocate for like disabilities, mental health and to just know like, you know, it's okay to have a mental health issue or to have a disability in that were just like everyone else. It's incredible. What what you've overcome? And what you want to continue to do. It almost seems almost seem weird asking Brian football questions. Talking about you want to ask..

Welcome back to the GMC Booker view podcast on this episode about dragons, and it turns out that there is at least one book in the world about a vegetarian dragon. His name is herb, and he is the vegetarian drag. It's called her the vegetarian dragon, and it is by Jules bass and Debbie harder, the authors Jules bass, and the the illustrator excuse me is Debbie harder. And all of the dragons in the forest of no guard like nothing better than rating castle dark and carrying off princesses to eat all dragons that is except one herb is at his happiest tending vegetable patch for her vegetarian. So it is unfortunate that he is the one captured by the castles knights in armor treacherous meat hook. And his dragon cronies will only help herb agrees to eat meat will he give into their blackmail Jules. Bass's lighthearted story combines with Debbie herders. Jonty. Illustrations to make this a hilarious picture book. That also offers young readers, plenty of food for thought. I I haven't even read this book yet, and I already feel bad for her. I mean, he just wants to ten is vegetables. And then he gets he gets kidnapped or you know, taken by by nights. And and then he's blackmailed by his own kind because they say he has to eat meat, and this is very colorful and looking at some of the pictures now, and the stations are really bright and engaging. And I of the other dragons should not be rating castle dark to steal princesses because I think Princess would give you indigestion her probably has a better diet anyway. So I am going to see if my library has this book because looks doorbell, and I will get back to you until you if I enjoyed herb the vegetarian dragon. I'm of the somebody wrote a book about Detari dragon. Of course, it's the children's book. So if you read it, let me know, I would love to hear from you. And tell me what you think what how you heard of. It with did. You just come across it. Did you like I just randomly type in vegetarian dragon because hey, we Google all sorts of weird things. Right. This came out on July, twelve two thousand seven at least the paperback edition did. And so it's been out for a while. And probably many of you have read it. I have not. All right. So we've talked about children's books, and then we moved onto the inheritance like the first of which is era gone by Christopher Paolini that is young adult fantasy. And then I wanted to also do more of an adult dragon book, and I thought of the Draken high said that we're DRA K o N Draken, Drake home. It's like dragon. But it's fancier. I don't know anyway, Shanna obey and probably mispronouncing her name as well. Shanna S H A N A obey a e with an accent over the east. I'm guessing it's obey. She has the Draken series D R A K o n hey, it's the spelling segment of GMC book repot guest and the first one in this series is called the smoke leaf. I can't remember how I came across these probably stumbled across some in the library. Once I do like to wander the shelves the stacks in the library. And literally judge books by their covers sometimes sometimes I just like to walk up and down the stacks. And then see what catches my eye and why and that might have happened here. I really don't remember if somebody recommended them, but there are five books in this series. I believe the series is done. There. Haven't hasn't been one for a while that I'm aware of I was looking on Amazon and didn't see one past five. So if you know more than I do as always let me know, your you are here to to correct me when I'm incorrect. So the description of the first one is. Is the Guinness the smoke thief for centuries. They've lived in secret among northern England's green and misted hills creatures of extraordinary beauty power and sensuality they possessed the ability to shape shift from human to dragon and back again going to cut in here and say, maybe that's where the dragon comes from. Could be wrong. I could be remembering that incorrectly that the shape Shifter the human dragon. Maybe those dragons. Yeah. I think that might be anyway. Now they're secret and their survival is threatened by temptation that will break every boundary dubbed the smoke. If a daring jewel thief is confounding London police police his wealthy victims claim the master burglar can walk through walls and vanish into thin air. But Kristof the charismatic
