So what I wanted to talk about is Covid and the fact that I think it's fairly likely that we may see further restrictions and mandates than what we've already seen, which is terrifying. Well, and it's It's shows how lack of science it is. Because now you're actually and they're saying it quietly. You're starting to see this idea. One of the covid. Fade in many places and to The CDC screwed up and we started talking about the CDC initially said 70% Herd immunity they now estimate between people who have had the covid and had the shot. We're probably at 80 to 85%. So wait a second. If heard of herd immunity was 70. And you're estimating between people with the antibodies and the and the shot were 80 to 85. What are we doing? What are we doing? What are we doing? Well, Dr Leana Wen, who you may recall from such things as once being the CEO of Planned Parenthood, so she really cares about life. Yes, that's at the forefront of her thinking She believes that we should restrict air travel. Take a listen. I absolutely think we should have that requirement. I think it was a major oversight on the part of the Biden administration to not issue this yesterday. And we have to talk about the reason. The reason isn't so much that we need to keep our train travel and plane travel even safer. They are pretty safe, although I definitely think that having a vaccine requirement would make it even safer and probably encouraged many people who are vaccinated or what young kids and want to protect them. Maybe it will help to encourage those people to start traveling again. But there's an even bigger reason to which is I think we really need to make it clear that there are privileges associated with being an American, that if you wish to have these privileges you need to get vaccinated, travel and having the right to travel in our state. It's not a constitutional right as far as I'm as far as I know to to to to board a plane. And so saying that if you want to stay unvaccinated, that's your choice. But if you want to travel, you better go get that vaccine doctor when Jeffrey because the other thing that's not a constitutional right is abortion. Yeah. So weird. Uh, well, you know, I think maybe this country would be better off if no one was flying anymore. You know how I feel about flying. So I'm not gonna die on that hill. Um, but think about where we and people again need to Need to realize if you actually take stock because there's some people you're just never going to convince the government could say or do whatever they want, and people would go. Oh, thank you Government for saving me. I'm going to bet, though. The vast majority of our audience are free thinking people. So what's free? Think Through this together? We started at 15 days to flatten the curve and within 20 months now shouldn't be allowed out in society unless you get an experimental Inoculation and not just one of them, but at least in Israel. Europe to four. Right? We're talking of fourth booster not to make this funny, but it's like a real life version of Anchorman Boy that escalated quickly and they will not stop. Well, First of all, you know, nothing's one size fits all. So when you talked about you know you wanted to determine your level of risk. Okay, Well, where are you travelling to? How are you traveling? How old is your child? Yeah. 18, Wisconsin. We're going to Okay, well, so we know that cases are up. We know cases are up in a lot of places throughout the country. Luckily, we are actually starting to see an overall decline in cases. National League. Good news. I think we have hit that. Peak of our Delta variant wave. Thankfully, while hospitalizations did rise in certain areas of the country, we saw that hospitalizations and deaths have really uncoupled from new cases. And that's thanks to our wall of immunity from previous infections as well as vaccines. So I don't think people should should shut down again. And I think you know if you look at the media, you get nervous, But so when you travel, you have to be smart about it. At this point. We all know how this virus transmits its in the air. So if you are indoors and you're around a lot of people, especially people you don't know very well. You should probably wear a mask. It's not going to bring your risk to zero of getting the virus being exposed to the virus, but it's kind of lesson it for sure. It may just less than the viral load, which you know makes it so you'd have a you know you get less sick or fewer symptoms if you're vaccinated. Of course, that is the best way to protect yourself from severe illness from this virus, But you still could get an infection with it, even if you're vaccinated. Thankfully, the far majority of those will just be like a mild cold and knew that data came out showing When you compare the vaccinated in the unvaccinated If you get covid 19 the vaccinated are going to be symptomatic for fewer days and they're going to be less contagious. These are all good news. That is good world next step, and I'm such a hippie contract doctor said. I'm going to wear gloves goggles. Maybe I'll be in the hazmat suit on the plane. With the Taliban. Let's listen to number four. I just learned multiple attempts to State Department and the Department of Defense have basically been brushed off. They're not interested in our lists of US citizens who are trying to get in. They were not interested in our list of U. S green card holders. So they were behind the eight ball the entire time. Um, you know, And when I hear from Anthony Blinken and, uh, Jake Sullivan, they tend They tend to repeat the lives of the administration more than most, and I think the State Department has a lot to answer for on this. We haven't had any contact with him since, and I believe it's because they were caught up in that, um and so what they did by playing politics on this. For whatever reason, so you don't know who shut you down from landing. I don't know what I don't know who shut us down, but I think it was 100% directed from the State Department. All right there you have it. The State Department. Is telling these individuals who are flying in with their own planes, their own money with charitable organizations trying to get Americans out trying to get a female soccer team out. These are young girls 14 to 17 who will be killed by the Taliban. I mean, and we have heard reports of the Taliban going door to door looking for individuals. That and when they find these individuals that they believe have been working with the Americans, they execute them on the spot. I mean, is anyone surprised they were they were beating people as they tried to get out of the airport that Joe Biden pick the Kabul airport, as opposed to the Bagram air base. That was a secure area from which to get Americans and Afghans who worked with us out. The man is so un American that he not only puts Americans in danger, but he leaves Americans behind. Now I want to ask you a question. Does anyone at any point in your life? Have you ever heard of anyone saying? Well, we couldn't get everybody out. Um, you know, it's just that you know, we really couldn't so you leave them behind as hostages. That's what they are. Folks are hostages, which is why there is this. You know, Digital Dunkirk and the veterans who are out there trying to get people into America who will be killed. By that barbaric meeting evil terrorist organization that Joe Biden left the Taliban with and that is, uh, the Afghan territory. Now, in basically the hands of a terrorist organization, you know, Donald Trump got rid of Isis and Joe Biden. Gave the Taliban Afghanistan but he didn't just give it to them. He arm them to the teeth were billions of dollars in weapons and the helicopters and Humvees and the most sophisticated military equipment that America has. Our pleasures of the book is panic attack playing politics with science in the fight against covert 19. It is an excellent read on I want to start with with something is obviously topical in the news. Today. That is this origin trying to uncover the origin of where this virus came from. Was it from animal to human species? Did it accidentally come from the lab was an intentionally released from the lab. And we should be following the science on this, but it's hard to do when actual scientists aren't being allowed to get in and investigate this right. Absolutely. And of course, I speak on my own opinions and not of that of anyone else when I speak on this, But I can tell you that when I was researching for my book, I found it crucial. Tonto put an entire chapter in on the viral origin theories to explore that a bit because I found that there were far too many strange occurrences and coincidences that occurred with the lab and the sight of outbreak And you know, it's interesting because in the beginning anyone who questioned the natural spillover theory Was deemed anti science wrong and you're really not allowed to talk about it. However, you know, yes. So natural still over, especially in a wet market is the most common common type when you see when you have local outbreaks for epidemics. But again when you have a viral institute 10 miles away from that wet lab that we know is you are doing research on crone viruses genetically similar to the one circulating and they were actually putting in mutations in the virus similar to what we're seeing in the virus circulating. You have to ask those questions. Doesn't mean anything. The various went on. It's possible that one of the lab technicians just got infected and then spread it and so started the pandemic. It wouldn't be the first time in our history this has happened. Why couldn't we have asked those questions? And that's the problem that I have with the weight unfolded, and I think that the Wuhan as you pointed out, that's a That's a biosafety level four lab, but apparently it was being run as a biosafety level two. On. If you're not suited up on bailing these deadly pathogens properly, it would be fairly easy for it to escape. What do you think of the Chinese? I'm sorry What I was saying What you think of the Chinese actions in this cover up is it Does I'll tell you something? Well, the chapter immediately following the origin chapter is one of the Chinese cover because again you can talk. These are such important facets of this pandemic. And then you have a You mentioned governors and prescribing board that we're taking away freedom from physicians who are just trying to treat patients and just trying Do anything they can to keep patients out of the hospital wasn't that with our goal was they started saying okay, we can use these treatments, but only the patient is in the hospital, but the goal is to keep patients out of the hospital. And all of the emerging data was showing if these medications worked, they worked early on and to keep people from getting severe disease. So when you take away those prescription, right You really could outpatient treating doctors off at the knees. They had nothing. They had no nothing in their arsenal to try and keep patients out of the hospital. Dr Sapphire. What science was Governor Cuomo or Governor Murphy or Governor Newsome or Governor Wittmer or any of these governors following when they Ordered covert positive patients back in the nursing homes. Science. Um, I don't know. If you could say they were falling any science they were trying to keep their well, I can tell you what Governor Cuomo was doing and governor must be because I lived through it. Hospitals were full here. We had very few beds and they were trying to figure out ways to keep beds open now, But I can tell you rather than utilizing the Javits Center and they comfort ship that was sent here. They moved forward positive patients to nursing homes, saying Yes, If they recovered from their infection, and they can go back, they can go. But as we have found out, he's not contagious Cove in for much longer than just those when they have severe symptoms. And nursing homes are not equipped to deal with highly contagious rested Torrey Pathogens. Nursing homes have always been a breeding ground for nosocomial infections, meaning infections you actually transmit when you're in the setting. Why would they think that this would be any better?.

We'll highlight Biden's flipping him flopping and flailing on the issue of masks and one of his guests. Judge Jeannine Pirro joined the criticism, saying Biden was just trying to distract from the border crisis in the pipeline attack. Truth is, it's distraction Wink for team. Biden and their medical expert, Dr Nicole Sapphire, was also critical of the CDC, saying they should have announced you could take off all maths indoors and outdoors. We're quite close to that herd immunity. And so I think it is dangerous to say that you need 100% of people to be vaccinated to take off that mask. That is not true. And the CDC is gonna have to correct that. So everybody on the segment started out critical of the new mass cruel but One handed he brought up the breakthrough cases. The vaccinated members of New York Yankees was still tested positive for the Corona virus, and said he wanted to know how many people who get the vaccine might still get sick anyway and might even die. That's when Dr Sapphire suddenly pivoted and started talking like Dr Fauci, pointing out that the Yankees who tested positive had no symptoms, and that actually proves the vaccine is safe and effective about 100 near 60 million doses that have been given you have had a little bit over 9000 breakthrough cases, but a third of them are asymptomatic. And less than 1% of them die. The benefit far outweighs the risk When it comes to getting the vaccine ju it further say We just ignore the breakthrough cases. Yes, there is going to always be breakthrough cases. But I don't care about this breakthrough cases, and the CDC is actually updating the fact they don't care about breakthrough cases that asymptomatic cases again. We don't care. We weren't trying to get to zero cases. So it was the Super Bowl weekend and I traditionally make this this big vat of chili and we we eat chili all weekend, and we have Ah, fun time with it, but I had Had secured some other recipes, and I just told my bride I said, you know, let me just cook for the whole weekend, and I'll just take care of everybody and I she, she noted it going into it. She's like your kind of giddy about this cooking all weekend thing, and I really was. I was in the kitchen. I was making food. I was just pouring love in tow. Into these dishes for my family, and they all turned out well, and everybody enjoy them, and they were so complimentary on how everything was. But when I think of like perfect moments in life It's that kind of thing. It's like something simple, but it's something that my family benefits from. And we have this like, perfect calm and peace and just joy in in the in the emotion of that moment, and it was really one of the happiest days of my life in the last year that we had, and I like I said, I kind of turned it into the whole weekend. Wow. Okay, so you you proved my point, and your listeners could really learn from that and your kids, By the way, they're they're learning and watching. They see that you as Dad you You get such joy from simple pleasures, and that's teaching them to look for the same thing in their lives. Those don't do much, especially for these highly transmissible corona viruses. So if that's what you're talking about, Yes, we're 2 to 3. Them because that's gonna help. But if you're wearing a good quality, triple layer surgical masks and know you probably don't have to double up on that. But it depends on the quality of your math, because, as we know this virus is extremely contagious. They suggest that it may be more transmissible, maybe more easily aerosolized, which really heightens the need for good quality mask. And as we have all been hearing, that is why people are calling for people to be wearing more high quality mass. Not those Gators, not single cloth mask. We really need people to be wearing good quality mass. If these virus variants are more easily transmissible one piece of good news that I can tell you be 117 and likely be 14 to 6 do seem to have cross reactive immunity from prior infection to the original source Cov, too, So if you've already had covert 19, or you've had the vaccine, it's likely that it's gonna confirm unity to these variants. However, because more easily transmitted, we may be seeing some regional outbreaks in areas that Have not had higher prevalence of infections over the last year. All right, well, there you go. There's about 6000 employees there at that facility, and they have a vote whether to go Union or not. Now, this has happened in other facilities for Amazon, and it was voted down. But here's the thing. They would cast their votes, mostly by mail due to the health risks. Health risks from the pandemic. Know where have we heard this before? Sounds. Seems like we just did this, right? Yeah, the whole the whole point. This is the special crazy year. Everybody's got vote by mail. Got a vote by mail, right this unprecedented times, right? Well. Amazon is asking the National Labor Relations Board to tell to tell the workers at that Alabama facility that they have to vote in person on whether to form a union and not by mail. Despite the pandemic. They filed a motion last week to delay the union election. It's supposed to start February 8th so that the National Labor Relations Board can revisit its decision to hold the election by mail over the course of almost two months. Instead of through it in person event, you know, because I gotta make sure everyone gets to cast their votes so they can't just be a one day or two day in person thing over each shift. They need two months to make sure everybody's vote can get, you know, go through the mail and arrive on time and be counted. Uh, the national Deanna Larbi has declined to comment on their request. Now some workers in Amazon are unionized in Europe, but so far none in the United States. As I said, they did. "5 18 is their time here in Houston's Morning news. I have found this very interesting. As far as the participation rate for first responders in front liners has released of the vaccine. Lot of them are opting out. I mean, like, probably, for example, in Los Angeles over 40%. The firefighters are not getting the vaccine. I don't know what it is locally by, but the numbers are pretty similar. I have talked to a few firefighters. And those who were involved in fire fighting him in police here in the greater Houston area, and they need some. It's amazing to me how many of them are opting out or not getting it now? If you look at flu vaccines every year about only 35 to 40% of American adults, actually Get the flu vaccine, and that's being because a lot of health care workers actually forced to get if they work in health care setting. So we know that a far majority of adults don't actually get normal vaccines anyway. So covert 19. I'm not surprised that people aren't getting it. I'm not afraid to get it.
