"When we got married. I was also offered the job of coaching. The drill team at my on the mater at hillcrest high school. One of my dear friends who advanced without the congrats was coaching and her husband was going to law school and so she said know. Are you interested in coaching. The high school team and i really was. I mean. it's something that i like. I said i love right. Children coaching and now that i was no longer Devalue and wasn't eligible to be a song leader I thought that be a really good fit for me. So i took over. The drill team at hillcrest high school and i ended up coaching there for about seven years. I have this seven year politics. Love it it was not intentional but it ended up being that way and following that This same friend of mine who was on johnson. Who was coaching at hillcrest. Came back and said you know. Let's hope in a studio together. So i decided to end my coaching at the high school. Mainly because Well there was a lot of reasons. My family was young and it took up a lot of time and for very little if any pay. I can't remember what i was making back then but pretty much next to nothing right. Oh absolutely and so. I thought you know having a studio would maybe at least give me a little bit of income and so we started Teaching together wheel. Dr studio and we did that kind of through the community program Can't think what it's called now but you know how the community dance classes. No doubt absolutely yes. So we started a company Correspond is what we call them and we started that and then we ended up opening our our own studio and at the same time. One of my other friends was now coaching the congrats. They had been through probably three or four coaching changes since then and she was coaching them and was invited me in to do choreography for the congrats so while i was doing that and you know he's judging. I was doing a lot of different things like you know most of trying to make a little bit of money with the hats so she invited me i. I would run audition for her. Actually and then i would come in and do Football routine or two and then the concert piece as well..

"You'll hear the accidental F bombs because they don't get they do not twitch. They go out there. It's plain as day winning. Gonna watch the Bears game on twitch. It's a fun idea to come to the house. You know, we'll steal his camera here. We'll set it up on me on the couch. You could do it on your phone. Right? Murder? Yeah. Mark I could put I could want resolution. I mean, these phones are pretty good these days, kids. I got news for you Want pretty good? Pretty good. Go the resolution on these. Remember when we were doing with Coors Light for the last dance? We were doing that, like the twitch chats before it started. We were doing that from our father. We're doing that We're giving out those coolers. No, no, no, no. For the last dance. When did the hands When was the last answer? Oh, that was in April. Yeah, maybe way we were on twitch. We could episodes. Carmichael. Jordan? Yes, the Bulls. We could do a game one night, right? We're just like carbon and you go watch the bare skin. We should do it when it's like they planned Sunday night. Which their first son name is how much bourbon we're going to drink that night. A lot of blood loss hit the stash due to my house. The first Sunday night. Chemo might be that Packer game because a Monday night game is the Rams game Monday night game a game that kids don't need to go to school tomorrow and be fine. We'll talk about the Bears in a second hold on, but first markings question, he said to me earlier today marries another bear, she said. You think the Bulls I regret not waiting to see if Doc Rivers was going to get fired. I said, you know, I don't think so. Aren't billion Doc almost kind of the same. A little bit. I mean, you know, Doc's been more successful at the embassy level. He's been coaching in the N B a longer. He's got a title with that great Celtics team. What does he leave from the Clippers? What was his great achievement with the clit? Unfortunately, nothing too great. I I can't tell you. I've said this so many times how much I appreciate. Doc Rivers. And how great of a person I know him to be All right. I could just tell you from what I know of a little bit. I know Dr Studio here in studio. I had him when I was a young pup cover in the N B. A. And Doc was coaching the magic. He couldn't. He was always always approachable. And easy to talk to and not condescending, not mean it not intimidating. I have nothing but a tremendous amount of respect for Doc Rivers, and I do think that's a pretty good coach. But But you gotta admit the way this ended in was his handling of the Donald Sterling mess. And kind of You know, going through the waters there off new ownership in this and that kind of managing whatever crises there wasn't the time. That could be his greatest achievement. Is that his his like You look back on this time there, and that's that could get you could be right about that. I mean, he's just he's I think he's an incredible person again as far as what I know of Doc personally and company. Enjoy his company, and I think the players really love Doc. Unfortunately, he's got some stains on his resume. You know, I mean, you're the only coach ever to blow 31 Siri's leads and playoff series three times. He's the only guy in MBA history to do that this game. The win is the final one right? That's what they said. But aren't but Doc and Billy sort of strike me as the same kind of guy that the Bulls were looking for. Now, you know, Billy's going to bring the same sort of level of professionalism, respect. He knows how to deal with the egos in the locker room. Billy knows how to do that. Extremely well, if you didn't stag, Billy, somebody's going to snag Billy before you. That could be. I mean, don't you get that feeling? And then I don't think Doc rivers gonna be out of a job for life. Don't think he will be either They're about 34 opening still. Who's out there to get hired Lou and Doc. Right, Doc? You know what Chris Mannix tweeted out yesterday between the Clippers over to themselves to at least full calling to Phil Jackson's Any interest and coaching that's crazy is in America. Probably isn't Phil's body when he's in mid seventies eighties 75 76 now and I mean where his body is. I mean, can he really be on Raiders of that is any bedridden in Montana? But I mean, come on. Phil's not in any kind of physical I'm sorry, but there's still some sort of physical element to that. Isn't there hundreds last couple years? The Lakers wasn't considering just doing coaching home games. Yeah, he was sitting in a chair. I couldn't get up out of the chair. I honestly don't think Phil has it in him anymore. I'm sorry. I just I think that is a complete and total long shot. You know, the one following a call. That's not going to hurt you with one advantage. Doc might have over Billy or anybody else is the way we talk all the time. Can the Bulls attractive free agent I think Doc and attract a free agent. About the way they put Boston together. Think about the way they put. Where do you think he'll get Clippers together? Who? Really love Still, as Indiana hired anybody, I think you got Indiana. I'm sorry. If this is not off the top, Mike, we're doing it to his New Orleans Open. Just because Alvin Alvin Gentry was fired thing Who's higher Who's made coaching hires? Besides the Bulls? Are there. I'm I apologize. I just off the top of my head. I don't have the Brenda hired Steve Nash Nash. That's right. Victor's hired down of the next hired Tibbs next hired Tibbs. Phillies Open. Still, rightly so, but I think Duncan might get thatjob or at least it's rumored Phillies Open. I think Indiana still open right if they stole the one thing I know about Indiana Zola Depot one so If you bring in Doc rivers, as you want out, I don't know. That'll be interesting, but I don't. I don't think the Bulls regretted. I mean, you could have said that. Yeah. If you had a little foresight, you could have seen it coming. Steve Balmer can't be happy, and I think he's got a tremendous amount of respect and appreciation for Doc. But the Lakers are in the finals now, Steve Bombers thinking this was supposed to be me. This is my team. We're the ones that went out on one free agency with Kwai Leonard and Paul George were supposed to be in the finals, not the Lakers again. He's fighting Tio Roula and here's LeBron Back in the finals again now with Lakers For all the adoration and respect and appreciation you might have for him. I don't think it's it's not stunning at all. To see Steve Balmer make this move. They are mentioned two other teams Houston Rockets boy, There are a lot out there 76 years we said 76. There's a lot of code a lot of teams still looking for a coach, and now you're gonna have to wait till the finals are over, right? I don't think they like I don't think they like to make announcements during the finals. In Game one of the finals tonight. So the Bulls will roll with Billy Donovan. And I think they'll be just fine. And the play here for the carbon in your clothes show is Miami Heat Plus the 4.5. I mean, I guess the trends say that I gotta be honest. I'm not thrilled about it. I think the Lakers are Considerably. I mean, I guess PM could hold his own with a D, right? I think so. I tell you when the Lakers you know, for all the talk about going small, that's sort of the trend in the MBA. The lineup of death for Steve Kerr over the years going small, right? When the Lakers go big when it's Dwight Howard, Anthony Davis and LeBron James. Good luck to you. I mean, not that they've played a ton of minutes together. It's only about 15 minutes a game. But for those 15 minutes Lots of luck. If you beat them in those 15 minutes, you're going to win a game. You're going to cover a spread. Problem is teams have been able to beat him and those in those minutes. I mean, like they go big and they are a load of my man doesn't want Doesn't make you wonder why they don't go big more often. If they're that much of a love Dwight Howard gets in foul trouble a lot in his older I mean, that could have something to do with that. I don't know, but Look, the heat are extremely well coached. Pat Riley gets it. Erik Spoelstra gets it. And Craig is going to get a head job somewhere, too. That's the assistant that I thought the ball should go out and get but that's okay..

I hope so I mean I I know that the media thinks that the only game in town yeah and and our salvation is that people are figuring out cells to getting out a few points they got your show that got judicial watch non different outlet I love Tom Fitton he's court can't make. you know. just what is a good time of a Cape right. yeah well you know he looks like I can just see some sunglasses and inflicting into a phone booth somewhere you know but but my question to you is who's going to win the Rugby World Cup. oh my gosh were met and they talk about the really serious stuff. thank you for your call that's on the big issues let's go to who do we have fit Texas line too it's got a very good question. reporter how are you this afternoon good good good good are you mow body going somewhere fun are you just going to work. alarm on my head leading home on our lot Louisiana and I'm there I'm back in Texas and now closed thank you have no toward center on your very nice very nice be safe. good question I'm why we have so many problems with the state when when a new administration takes over can they not show for these people around. if you can't follow I understand that get your shuffle around. you wanna how hot it is so I found this out let me tell you a story from my time in the White House first things first the size of the bureaucracy we have over two million civilian employees and federal government two million when when we arrive to the administration with the new people we are not even for the first one hundred and eighty days of the new administration we are not allowed to move the civil servant from one job to another let alone fired the we can't even move them for half a year from one position to another then there's the whole question of getting rid of them which is practically unless they commit to multiple murders in front of witnesses it's practically impossible to get rid of them and that's why we have the deep state that we have today it's it's a huge but again when you come to the White House let's say the Nashes good counsel to my area of the interest. one of the bombing of the station the the the national screwed council balloons to four hundred and twenty people just in the White House four hundred and twenty people and more than ninety percent of them what you think they came from ed they didn't they didn't come from they want political appointees like me they would presidential in a political commissioned offices more than ninety percent of them are from the state department from the D. O. D. from the CIA that's why the deep state is so powerful because it is the permanent state. the other guy. something has to be done and and and if we win informed in three days this is perhaps because it doesn't matter what the key issues that really matters to you it could could be the second amendment could be mass security the border doesn't really matter at the end of the day if you don't have the right people in place you're going to lose the the political and the policy war that's the bottom line at glad you're on your way home be safe out there let's go to Larry in Ohio line three Larry. yes I'm old was nervous the first time I'm calling welcome. don't be nervous okay let me just tell you something bugs bugs the hell out of me we are actually telling the journalists you're not a journalist because you don't have a verifiable proof right that's what we're actually doing we're actually taking the information they give us which is not verifiable and we're giving its legs we should say you know what we're not going to make any statement at all and would like to use the word no comment because that means that were hiding something we should say you know what we're not going to answer any. verifiable proof that's what I did in the White House I refused to talk to any journalists unless I had a pre existing relationship with the level of a friend with somebody I refused to talk to each other while I was seen as the window Larry and I thought hi all these people from everything they've done has made it very clear they want to destroy my boss they want to destroy me and everything we stand for why should I cooperate with them so why are we doing it to work this morning if one was reporting good now we're saying well this was not true that's not true we shouldn't even start because the end of the day if you don't have to work with van but and you don't have to use that narrative but the end of the day it is and I hate the phrase it is a battle of narratives that's what it is and we have to win the battle of that this the only good news is Larry thank you for calling don't be a stranger the only good news is we have truth on our side thank you Larry I'm what did the time go we're almost out it's crazy it is second amendment Friday wouldn't get to little segment was stuff but that's okay because the news is so important to handle first in terms of this fake whistle blower but one thing I need to help you with and that's carrying your weapon safely if you have a gun if you've had the requisite training if you are licensed to carry concealed the last piece of the puzzle is how would you do so safely.

"The four congresswoman and where's the mother what happened to the whole you know nobody nobody's talking about the about the follow-up congressional investigations and stuff now other than president trump will you know brings it up at rallies and stuff like that because it's red meat issue and he gets the crowd all stirred up but you're you're absolutely correct and they're not and you know to me i sit here in washington and i wonder what's going to happen in the democratic controlled house in regards to president trump and impeachment or other things like that they keep subpoena and people and people just keeping during the subpoenas <laughter>. You know that that's incredible. You know statement right there that they don't seem to have the power to enforce either someone coming up to testify i or put that person in jail if they don't you know if you break it down. I don't know where we're going to lead to other than the fact that it could lead to more unilateral action in other words. The house could vote essentially resolutions or something like that. It doesn't involve anybody. Coming up to testify doesn't involve involves hearings that you had to hear testimony from trump people and if the house wants to <hes> committees wanna move articles of impeachment they can do that as well without you know waiting for the republicans either in the house or the trump administration to participate in any form and yeah that is a that is a good point i and and who knows where it leads so part. Does he knew yeah leading much of any. I i gotta tell ya before. I get off here. I think that i got to be looking at september october. The fisher cut bait moment. Perhaps by house democrats on these issues barring anything that happens down the road that we can anticipate regarding president trump or republicans because once you get into the election year and you know this is august everywhere not that far away when both start happening in iowa new hampshire right and when you get into that and if you try to have impeachment hearings during the election year. I think you're really then risking a backlash by some voters but i don't know it's it's so everything's so topsy turvy since president trump was elected that i know i mentioned the old rules really apply well. We're gonna keep turning the page here and trying to figure out what uh what rules do apply on a given day here. Tom's qatari. Hey thanks very much joining me this morning eight today tomorrow. It ended up with a real positive result well. I don't know what he senses. I do think that the whining that he ends some of his top aides engaged in in complaining about the press coverage is often a sign of a losing campaign. I don't think he is all that. I'm not i'm not sure what his his own sentiments are but it's it's it's bad vibes. When you complain the way that does not that. There's nothing to criticize about the campaign coverage <hes> there may have been some coverage that was that overstated the extent to which his campaign is kind have not so much hit a wall but but hit a muddy spot in his stuck in the in a rut but it's not because it's the corporate owned media he later actually the same day i wrote the column but a few hours later kind of pulled back and said he didn't mean to say that jeff bezos who owns both amazon and the washington post was calling up post editors and telling them to the.

If I had the number one overall pick in the NBA draft. I would without a doubt take Zion. Williamson. I would without a doubt make that my franchise cornerstone job possibly number two. But I'm not gonna take mature at number two. I think it's fascinating. How this debate is evolved over time. The the fall the free fall of RJ Baird is absolutely fascinating. From number one. Overall, pick was number one recruit in the nation coming into college too. Now, not even mentioned is the second overall pick in the draft for me. If my team's win just the way the game is supposed to work, but I'm getting nervous now because they're von had a pretty decent lead. Now. The foul line. It's college basketball. You think you're gonna win at the foul line. You're supposed to you're supposed to but they don't yesterday New Mexico state. Couldn't win it at the foul line. All right. She gave birth now. What she happy with you. As far as giving her the news. She say he should have told me sooner. Or you shouldn't have told me. Happy with me. That with my friends, definitely. Because they didn't tell that on going out previously with him out. Not the first time that he did that. And I'm just one of those places. I definitely I do. Attention and tell them something because I did a day Diarmaid. They do have tips together, and my friend for high school. Mighty y'all friends in your business. Yeah. Care for family. "Have one of those where he'd like the best laid plans. I have no problem. I could not wait to speak to the Louise bid the sky bar. It just wasn't meant to be on our end that it was going to go. Well, no matter what how much prep have I done for that interview lightning. I was showing her more stuff on Friday. And then we had to cancel it on Friday and Trump, and what I say to you after the story, I said, there's very few things that could have canceled her, and I'm not sure even the president should have. And then. But boy reschedule, and she was so gracious, and she was going to rejoin. And it's still it's just it's not meant to be the thing about bringing your own audio when you're on the phone is is when it works out spectacularly, it's spectacular. But when it does not I don't know that I can. It's a mystery. It didn't help that. He was getting hatley in one ear, but in the other. But going on also I think he was fumbling around with his boombox froze froze on them. Gosh, the oxygen goes out of the room when that happens in your you wanna bore you know, how that is. When the stuff doesn't work. You can hear your own heart beating and you're like I need this now now now now now now. Was on the floor there. So that was that was no problem. Then I think that all of your interviews that should be your thing. Oh, yeah. Take that under advisement. But I all how about gene busy guy, right, gene? But gene, I knew gene was a sky bar fans. I said ain't nothing. But I've got the way he was I'm calling in like he's in. And he does the legwork. He's got his own sound effects. Yeah. Will the Andy news history of that song? He has since told me the story on that. Which I don't know whether this is true or not it certainly has the ring of truth. Let's go the late. Great sip hashing of the band Boston. He's the drummer gene Nusa pretty well. Sip told him that the Boston song feeling satisfied was originally titled take a chance, but Abbott beat him to the punch and when the Amazon came out they had to change it. Did not know that. So the the ABA tentacles reached much more than you would realize not familiar with that band that you were talking about me be for reasons. I can't discuss here Abba. No the other one. Well, hey, look, I was very excited to present the sky bar interview to you. I thought that was great Louis. Sounds fantastic. She so enthusiastic. She's so excited. You get the feeling she's from the emerald isle. VP Louise's done extremely well for herself. She's got this this duck soup. If you've never been there in Sudbury say Shattuck worth it's more bring bring your misses and bring your wallet. 'cause you she's gonna want to buy a lot of stuff. But it's really cool did the store's not much bigger than the studio. And it's it's Florida's ceiling every inch of its got stuff. That's great. Yeah. You need a teapot you need. British Gandhi, you need to scoop out the jelly beans myself. So is it a British themed? Now, it's got all sorts of different stop. Okay. They just have some of that stuff in there. Well, I think that's great. That sounds very excited. They got table settings. They got all sorts of stuff. It's really cool meet original and she's done. Well, I self and at at this young age of hers on a lark she'd blocked on. Said I'll just put in a bid and boom now she's good at this stage of her life. She's now a candy manufacturer. I think it's phenomenal great American story. I'm glad that we got to talk to her. And I don't think she's like, I don't know. I agree question. I got an answer inside sky bar. Not only. Did you ask a great question? It had musical accompaniment with it that you didn't even know because she was trying to power through listening to Abba as you were asking that question. She did she did a good job. But you know, what needs to get that rectified or where are we on that? It's just so when you call in today be worth I can't wait for trivia to thirty. Caller trivia coming up in two thirty. We've got an awesome fries. We're giving away who tickets at Fenway. And it's going to be an added challenge. Not only you're going to have to get the questions. Right. You're going to have to answer them through a song in your head. That's not though probably I dunno. What it'll be gene was here in the restaurant show on the way back machine. So. So along those lines, by the way, so sky bar has been saved. Somebody keeps saying VP could she please save the Mallow Cup. I believe the Mallow Cup is not available. I think it's still owned by somebody. I don't know. I haven't seen a metal Cup since one thousand nine hundred ninety seven what I wanted to ask her. But again, it just at some point you got to know when to fold them, and it's Louise it's totally on my end. I am so sorry, but the neck oh are the neck. Oh, wafers going to be made still. No, they're gone. She could know some of the hearts have been bought the Cleveland company is gonna make but they can't make them until next year Pasos to each other and we want to. But I assume if you're doing a Harley in lawsuits, but if you're owning the hearts, I soon they're owning the waivers to know because it's the same stuff it's made of the same powder. Just press. You think I'm joking. But I've told you this I'm gonna to it was with one gene Lavanchy, and the reason I was there was because of genes love of the sky bar. But when we trip to revere at the time, this is at least ten years ago. Now, we did we became candy Manhattan echo. We went to the creative plan at the time. There was this small movie coming out that no one had ever heard of in didn't know anything about is called twilight and they were trying to make chocolate glisten. So that as part of their twilight Tien, and we were talking to the guy that he's their creative guy with like, this is fantastic. If you can pull it off, and gene, and I looked at like, good luck. With that, buddy. Nailed it. They made a ton off of that. Well, so we did that we did the taste has stuff. And then we made some neck, oh wafers. And I'm telling you, I've never this is one of those stupid stories. You can't do this now, obviously. But when the candies come off the line, they are soft and they're not hard at all. And they were like, they were awesome. It was a totally different candy. I like nickel waste of riveting segment, by the way. That maybe there's a tape around. I haven't you know, what I don't have the jacket that we got pilfered Dr studio someone stole that I'm ripped about. Oh, yeah. That is housing. My heavier days. You would have fit it. I like that. Yeah. I like that took a big fat v neck, oh who did could be so many probably obviously always going through my stuff. I think as much if I want to say definitively, but I had my suspicions. I saw her at this at the RNC two years ago, and she had an echo jacket on just I've always as BB thirty and I've lived in Massachusetts my whole life. What is a sky bar? I didn't even think of that lightening since she's never had one. We're going to rectify that at the end of the year, I can assure so sky bar, candy bars. And one was the idea you're not sure if you want like chocolate with caramel. You're not sure if you want peanut butter and chocolate or if you're like a Mallow Cup fan and you want the Mark. So here's what we've done is the sky bar genius. It's four squares connected. But each square has different filling one vanilla marshmallow filling one is a chocolate fudge filling one as a caramel filling in one is a peanut butter filling and everybody had their favorite one and everyone had the one. They if I'm not if I didn't pay for the thing that's the one I'm not eating, right? And then everyone had the ones they would trade or whatever. But the sky bar was four bars in one right? I think we we can agree that the sky bar is one of those bars came of age the Pete somewhere, probably run nineteen seventy I think probably probably the along with the Tootsie pop. Maybe. How about the Charleston chew Charleston chew was in that. We've been in the vein. Yeah. There's no dot dot dot O member. You could unreal. Those done by the five hundred thought you've got so much candy, and ate at all your neighbor gives it stuck to the stuff all the way all the time. Yeah. Those are the days. Those are great. You know, what I missed? This is what I want. This is a topic. The should have been is what food that has gone away to do you want back, and I'll start off and say that the one thing we need right back right now is the flaky puff remember the flake do that was pop was okay needed more filling. But yeah, flaky puff is. Okay. There were twenty eight thousand five hundred sixty calories per every flaky puff. It was gorgeous. Have you ever seen even ever seen? It. They would be illegal. Now, you can't have that. Now for one person. Are you are you on air committing to having sky bar when when Louise gets them going? She's gonna take some effort though, because I don't know what their distribution is going to be. I think it's going to be very localized that the Sudbury one of us is going to have to go get some. And if I know Louise early on they can be a limited. You can't just go by sixty five per well. You've got an in now. I don't know how the ABA. Yeah. Maybe you don't have an in. I was actually hoping to tell her. We mean the commemorative gene Lavanchy, wrapping. In honor of Jean thirty years in broadcasting. I think that's over jeans Mormon Tabernacle choir. Thing didn't go off. Those. The moments between him mentioning it. And then the with her saying Hello. I'm having trouble hearing moments of silence between. That's a tough one. But you got to keep that in. I mean, sorry if that happens to play in any best of over the weekend. Knows I'm gonna we're talking too much. But we always talk about gross Nebraska. The first one of the first episode interviews, we didn't show as a woman. She's the only her and her husband have two people that live in a town in Nebraska, it's called. And we always say. That was gross Nebraska right there. An interview goes while she said, what do we call something when it's not gross Nebraska. We never really had it. But I feel like maybe. Again, I'm all in on it. I love it. But maybe the Mallow Cup along the Neckar when it became unavailable when nickel close, I know. But what happened was they the company bought all the Netco stuff, and they were auctioning off they only really want. There's only a couple of things they wanted. They wanted the ten minutes and they wanted to the hearts conversation hearts. So they were auctioning off other things that Nicole is the Clark bar..
