"But i'm going to give her one more chance. She's coming off a bit of a layoff pletcher at one time. It looked like she was developing into a nice horse before things just really went off the rails with her this past winter and her last three efforts have been uncompetitive. They've tried the turf last time. I think just getting a little desperate with her in in a race like this. I'm just kind of looking for something to make me. Like a is a little bit more than the reason format suggest and i was watching her recent workouts and xp tv and she just seems to be working so well coming into this race I think she's been in company with horses like dr post and mohammed and she's been out working them so maybe she's just turned around for pletcher. And the fact that are keeping the faith and going in and other graded stakes. Maybe it's a good sign. She's gonna get pasted close into again. I don't. I can't be sure about her turning it around. But she's supposed to be a price in this race so i made her my top pick. I actually really liked that idea Because i i agree with you wholeheartedly. It's that kind of race and you know. I agree also agree with you that at one time like you know it looked like thankful was actually going to be pretty good for pletcher night to. I don't know what happened in her. Last couple of dirt starts turf race. I don't care about as much on just because it except for the fact that you point out it probably was a little bit of desperation for Which could be a bad sign on what happened. In the last two duration. She showed up with absolutely nothing. But i agree with you that she's going to be a price in here. It does feels like that kind of race. You wanna try to turn a horse around inter inter interests like this one move onto the next race at mammoth. It is the eleventh the grade. One united nations going a mile and three eighths on the turf and this is another situation where there's a horse on the morning line who's favored. Who i imagine will be favored in this race. That i've just never really warmed up to that much. And that's the number one are glow. He has kind of broken. The trend of losing long strings of races by winning three of his last four starts which wins had been something that he had had trouble compiling in the past but he won all those races against somewhat lesser fields than he needs here and while he won i guess well within himself in the louisville last time he's stepping up now and he's just never the kind of course that i wanna trust short price. Yeah that's interesting that you say that i mean the more at this race i i the more i started felt like i guess it's i want to say that it's more competitive and more interesting than some of the recent editions of this un. Which i thought he'd been getting a little lackluster. This one's a little bit better I still it was hard to find..

"Winner and then he had great won miss by knows and the same day and I remember it was a big deal. Right. So yeah maybe wasn't off track, but on a fast track Nelson. Thanks for me what about G let's Jesus or Hey seuss's team I probably should figure that out. I mean I watched all of his races. For some reason in my head I'm not hearing what the name is but you know he just kind of always been an also rented. What's crazy is that he was in for a five nine two, not that long. I mean. You're talking about these are my horses I had nobody loving and to L. claimer more than me but like. Those that is I mean twenty-five helps but. Is the bottom of the barrel so Like and. The horse wasn't wasn't even favorite. Day was alive race. So the run-up came back and won. It was, and then he ran in that weird solve allante allowance that was like a week before the Belmont and then solve Allante came back to not run great show chivalry was even in that Rafe. Yeah, I mean I I think that these horses get entered in these races and very early do they run well, the just get out class I think that's going to be the case here. Nine to two in the Jim Dandy. What does that say about the Jim Dandy? How I realized that is a kind of a bad excuse for me saying the sources name is that I called his first start. Ghost report west I don't remember. I gotta go I'M GONNA go watch the video right afterward. I'M GONNA, Guess I'm GonNa Guess. I. Went with. A WHY Is owned by Grupo seven see stable that would probably been one of my initial inklings. Before. That will. Sway I don't know if there was an ownership change. To say offensive right now. So I'm just going to move onto the next door. You. These are important questions of the day. Well, I mean like if I knew the connections I would I would call it but I did I didn't know the connections and I'm almost sure. I. Would've said Hey SEUSS'S TEAM Jesus just seems like a big name to put on a horse. Do. The same thing. Oh. Yeah. I know. But I feel like I know a lot of guys named hey, sue anybody named Jesus. I've met I've met. Hey, is I have not met Jesus. It just the same word. I know but I feel like I feel like once a name and one's a being. or or not depending on. A lot of. Jesus's out there. Funny. Would that be some guy like some guys you know line they call Know Jesus. The only one I think the only way I can think of is the guy in the big Lebowski. I feel like if I was in a line at a Deli and somebody called Jesus, I'd be it'd be pretty taken aback. That's. So it'd be the same if some goofball race collared did the same thing. So I I'm GonNa Guess I went with us. I think we're going with. Shueisha we mentioned. Go ahead, but it's it's the team. It's not like the Horse's name Jesus the team could be as followers. Yeah. Yeah Yeah See. All right. We figured that out now I'm going to consult with the Great Frank Mir Mata who called him two of his last three. Linguist I think Frank. So. Right, need mentioned live your beast life who's runwell twice in a row. But I mean obviously. Vantage. Jim. Dandy that was not the most quality Jim. Dandy if the. person. that. That it was it was run. Kentucky. Derby Day. It was like such an afterthought. In, the PP's it's cut up who I don't even remember who won the race to be honest. Mistake something. But until. I literally watch every race. Around the country and I was telling me this the other day like my my. Memory on name should be great cause like it's literally part of my occupations mystic guide. Is Who went for Mike Stadium he's that Horse Mike. Stems that was really highly touted fairgrounds. Then you went up there that's right. And then Dr Post laid an egg that day that was the story of the race. It's a name I just thought he was always thought he was by biggby civic beast yeah. I remember that horse that horse was cool. He literally was big. He was massive is gigantic. When the fact is called tiny. No the big beasts is like one of the biggest horses Oh that that on the backstretch at the time from what I remember I. Don't know if he was Dortmund Dortmund size but maybe yeah. All right. Well, I feel like we're getting off of the weeds here she. Listeners. "Away the best in his. And the next year is we're going to get to is the agreed to Dandy usually run for the travers but obviously with pandemic this year time the resistance been shifted this good example of you know what the Pat Day mile has been in past years at the pet day mile this year turned into a really deep race of a Lotta horses that have been sprinting past trying to go one term we already talked about that a Lot of these horses are kind of horses that may have been had Kentucky Derby on their radar. Obviously, Dr Post pulled out of the Kentucky Derby to run in this race and you know there's some other interesting horses in here. You've got first line and happy who are coming out of Medan wins and then you've also got Celtic striker and Mr. Guide who Are Past horses that you know in the case of Celtic striker was a stakes winner in the case of mystic guy he was favored in the Peter Pan last out was beaten by two horses who I think are pretty talented. Car Car would have been live in the Kentucky Derby and Country Grammar who's not here I think has been potential to be you know another? Level stakes when are higher than a great three. So that was a good field who's beaten in front of I also really like Hayes uses team in this race, I like his last a couple of efforts he was beaten by. If you listen to the Kentucky Derby preview if you've had not. Said enough already go check that out. He was beaten by. Tinian. In. In his allowance race at Gulfstream earlier this year and then Also this year was fourth in the Haskell and then most recently second behind pneumatic who is going to be live in the preakness in the Pegasus stakes amendment. So I think there's a lot to like about he's uses team ultimately, I'm going to go with Mr Guide here give him a lot. Of Credit for the back class that he has in in the Peter Pan which feels really weird to say the Peter Pan at Saratoga. But ultimately, I'm going go with him on top like I mentioned Dr Posts Underneath I'm also going to take a shot with his team. Put Him for third in here to get a good saw top three in this race..

"In nineteen come along and continue to get better and better. Well a great one win always always good for the the Saratoga season. It's been a good season in in general You know winning at a steady clip and we'll talk about particularly some of the two year olds in a second, but it's going to get We're GONNA get short on time we got about five six minutes. Let's get a quick update on the Derby prospects and Dr Post where do you stand and We gotta we gotTa Jock. To, announce anytime soon. Well to be honest. We haven't totally decided what we're GONNA do yet talking to the violence every couple of days the horse briefs very well. Trying to make a decision on whether we want to want to go to the Derby and stick a shot. They're softer approach and skin maybe Jim Dandy preakness routes Continue to monitor how he trains and tenant keep an eye on what everybody else is doing but We haven't made a firm commitment yet. Well we're waiting for some other decisions from some other. Some other fence sitters most notably Rushie from Michael McCarthy But if if you if Russia your doctor post demure open the door for money moves I is that still a serious consideration if there was a spot for him. we've had some peripheral discussions about it I. I wouldn't say that Real.

"You look at this. Just as an individual ray torn. In a normal year when the house after the triple crown new, I mean obviously authentic granny huge race. You didn't stay little. It looks like off. The turney was in Pre New York traffic going down but I. Really don't do that. You're knock on. I Will Knock A. I'll knock authentic based off the fact that the distance was obviously getting. But. I also will give more credits in your traffic. Just kind of varying down almost getting there, that's you know. A Horse kind of showing distance imitation than authentic, a horse that leads to finish needs more ground in New York traffic You know I like New York traffic. I mean if we talk about for consistency sake, I can give you your top three for the Derby right now. Here's the law loves to win. He'll always be first. Newark traffic always loves to run second or third, so he'll be right there, and then I mean one of my favorites who probably should be brought up on? The show picked up here. You know he'll be there late to. His negga consistent ended up, definitely wanted to consider as we get closer to the Derby underneath a beating. Some of the top in this crop is going to be out for him. He show any can't do it But underneath for sure Dr, he didn't WanNA beverage, either. You definitely didn't have anything to run into and if we're GONNA continue to talk about the Derby considering. This is a major derby prep. Authentic gotta be a pace casualty. He's going to definitely prompted a lot. And he's GonNa make the Derby paid probably a little quick, and if you looking for. Dr. Post has.

"When you're in event, so you've got two things on the line here. and IT'S A it's. It's top heavy race. We have seven in the village four to five on the Dick Five to Dr Posts and seventy two on in my traffic, and that's it really you know you've got four other longshots in the race agent words. He's team, the famous and one of my favorite lead. But you know you got authentic Bob Baffert Mike Smith. That Combo. We know white well. Beverage won this race five times in the last ten years. I mean this is kind of his race to win the hassle. He does a very job of winning this race. Brings in authentic a horse I think last time showed us that maybe is not top level, obviously honore pbs top level beating beating on the Dick, but you also showed that he's very good still and he his his toughest competitions, races Dr Post. It's a two race I. mean there's really no reason. Analyze this race all that much, because it's to race with New York traffic. He's going year traffic probably GONNA get second third, so if one of the big, don't show up. You'll get second. If they show up. You'll get third. He's definitely the best of the other ones, but there's no doubt Dr posted authentic. Stand out above this class are above this. Field I should say in a huge huge way, so the question is very simple. Do you think Dr Posts can catch authentic? Because thanks going to be out in front? He's GonNa. Get the lead doctor. Post is going to be you know I would guess three to four links behind him. You. Make up the ground. Can he do one on our AP did? That's through the race. That's all it is yeah. I mean honestly if anybody else wins this race of those two than. It. I mean forget it. If anybody other needs to win, they will be the worst entry in the history of the breeder step. Above the cook. Well I. Now, there's been some bad horses. Derby, but can you think about Jesus team ancient warrior fame to famous lead in New York traffic being in the Breeders Cup classic. I, mean agent warrior has been running in. Six, furlong, races and getting be madly like. I mean these horses don't belong in this race. The Ohio Derby by eleven and three links. The only horse that I would be like could win because did run a very nice second to Max filled was in white traffic. So if you're talking about an upset or that's the horse. They not called Dr, post or authentic. He did run a nice race. He's finished second to two races in road to wells by Ren that day, Ren well good race in Louisiana Derby, and of course, really good second to Max Ville in the Matt. Win I mean if you're gonNA say a horse could upset Him. Be this one, but I do feel like a horse going to be on the on the front end ish. SPEED-WISE IS GONNA. Take a toll on me. I feel like the this horse is going to get too much pace pressure if he wins, it's just a horrible brace. It really is because I really surprise you though I would totally support me if you haven't the year. Yeah! It's still would surprise me if he won because given any year. No matter what owners the can't beat modernist can't be major fed I. Don't I just don't see how he's going to be doctor posting authentic who? In what the crop that we have right now? They're two of the better horses now. I mean I think four to five links better than than traffic broke wake. High Cohen Hey thanks for watching Colin's watching and. Message Saint Watching. So Hey, what's up, buddy? But no authentic Dr Post. that. I wanted to dodger boast. I really did because there was like you know authentic. Last time out you saw like. He's just. Below you know dark post ran. A good second seems like he's on the improved Yes, I keeps getting better and better. Even though he got, he didn't win, but he mean running ninety five buyer less time out, but. To, me, authentic is the horse that is just. He. It's Bob Baffert. He's bringing his horse in. You know you don't get Drayton, but you get Mike Smith. Say He's won the race five times. I! Haven't custom awhile slim okay. Authentic. You know he's he's show. He was undefeated. You kind of forget. You don't have kind of forget this horse race yell at time coming into Sandy Derby. You're like well. This is one of the top prospects we haven't. He's only making his fourth start. You know he's very lightly raced tours. To me. For Bob Baffert to run in this race. He's bringing in his. I mean one of the top level horses. He's not bringing. Amend lose. Let's put it that way. He is he is of course that has so many mixed signals. Baffert Smith, it's the hassle. All great signals only one loss in his career, and it was still a respectable race, and it was a race where he was hung wide, he didn't have things his own way, and he got beat by worst just flat better than him. Anyway probably would've lost anyway, but he's still only got two and three quarters. I don't necessarily think he was stopping in that race I think. He just got passed by a better worse, so there's all like he's got. The best figures have been made in the field, so all those factors the weird thing with him. That I can't get over the ownership change to my racehorse wide. Did they let my resource get involved with this horse when he's already in the Kentucky Derby. You know he's a horse. It's already worth a lot of money.

"COM breaking down. Some of the. Actually a bunch of the horses one of the descriptions that really stuck out at me when you're breaking down one of the horses. His name is Dr. Post I think currently. He's like eight to one over my bookie Daddy. If you haven't signed up there. Make sure you do it. Use Promo Code S. GP. Get a ten dollar free bet on the Belmont in the race track area of the site. You described Dr. Post ran like a huge baby when the unbridled stakes at Gulfstream. What is is what do you mean by that exactly? Naive the horse was ever happened in the race seem to surprise him I. Don't worry who's expected and a day and the next thing off the goal. And he just seemed surprised by everything was there was a horse on this side? Was He was GONNA look around? In the longer east when you could physically see the penny dropped, and you can say all right i. get it, and then it took off like being shot out of a cannon and wound by about four X. so. Coming into this race on Saturday. You'll know a lot more. This is the whole thing you were talking on your on the QB. Days ago about the transition from you want to you at all times and all. This is what the tolls is. They're going from the two year old year three year old year, so they source is learned a sore much in that race and he did. He say he was looking around. He was getting buffeted. He got called for speedy just seemed surprised by everything, so he's going to turn up. That was an education is going to Saudi known a hell of a lot more than did. And that there's a few in this race the. Similar thing applies to. Well Yeah, and that's that's a great transition. Point of course Tis the law. He's the favourite and you're I think. Like four to five, it's hanging around even money and even pointed out it's not. It's not fun to the favorite. It's not a bad for the working man. Make the case for why Tis the laws is such a huge favourite. There's a couple of things. This time to. This is not been an awful lot erase. This was actually quite a straightforward ways to look at and I. Don't mean straightforward another easy to pick the winner, but the weren't many jigsaw pieces to put together, because the hasn't really been enough to cloud, the issue tis. The Lord's got the form in the book. Is the only grade one winner in the race? Everything he does looks effortless is been working really well. The connections a sounding confident so. Everything that you knew rock solid facts punk towards his law. The second part of it is what we just talked about with the likes of Dr Post and the other one was Max player and these horses that you want to improve. To be, the challenge is little, so you pay your money. Take choice to you. Take the one with Scott Foam in the book. All. Do you look for something that is going to improve because undoubtedly improve in this field, and with a big gap in the form, and since they've. Trained, and run, and there's a there's a big gap the form book which isn't normally day, so it's right for a surprise well. Yeah, and you make that case. I Know Max player twenty five to one you kind of. Him as one of the longer shots that you like. He's coming in well rested. He hasn't raised since February I and I. It seems like just from reading all the all the stuff on the. There's that whole rest versus Russ. The same thing we see when when there's a long lay-off like does the rest help them or does it hurt them? What do you think the rest is going? Will it help a? slayer I heard. Did you not hear this late breaking news that this this horse was? Allegedly participated in the Kyrie Irving call already. To rally the horses, they're going to have their own race. I'm sorry I just that's. But. Yeah Malcolm. What do you think is rescuing to help these horses, or or or is it going to hurt and other ones? You think it's going to help which ones stand out to you. something. I never knew about his secret and little. Write ups all the time every time. There's a race you get the race in pools. Read the race card and save. The horse goes well fresh, which means it's won't before after a layoff. Some, horses ruined two or three times a year or the horses. You can flock to death twelve thirty. G Get some. They're like they're not machines, but like people. You'll get like a Christian. McCaffrey Derrick Henry. You wrote them all day. They will just get up and keep on running. Oh, you get a real fragile type so really that. No one knew that's that's the sort of thing. The train probably the tree. That doesn't even know if it's. Someone who's guessing? Would see that host rooms well fresh. All that doesn't run well fresh and really it's such a small sample. You'd be guessing. I'm not going to sit and guest. That's not my job. Sean, I I do find interesting because the Belmont of course is usually the last race, and typically they have the the the ramp up in distance, so there's a stamina question here which I would imagine would when handicapping the race like. Is that just complete wildcard because we? A number of these horses, we're not really sure, right. That's the thing with. The reason if moved back to nine furlongs is because during the year there's a natural progression doses get. Stronger. That's only three so informants from now that's. Ten percent of life of on stronger did. We talked about in education before. The usual progression, The classics in England? Did route over a mile in april-may they didn't stay up to a mile and a quarter. Who in the summer in the autumn is when they'll take a mile and a half races on which is exactly what would do any ESU? The reasonable is actually quite a good job in dropping this to. The nine furlongs. And then they'll stab. Was the there were some horses who would be better at the mall and a half I mentioned Farmington. Rural needs a little bit further modernised needs a little bit further. I think they'll have their day book. They might be in the autumn..

"I think is going to finish second. Thing if you told me definitively. You knew you had the crystal ball, but the crystal ball. Tell you who's going to win. It just told you that. Tis, the law was GONNA lose. His Law is not going to win the Belmont stakes. You able to tell me that definitively. I would tell you I think. Pneumatic is going to be the horse to beat them. And for the same reasons I think it's part of the reason he can be. A little susceptible to getting picked up late for the place when he goes I think. He'll have he has an explosive enough running him. To actually be a threat I don't know if modernists those I think monitors more has more of a grind to him And if that's accurate, and he just grinds his way to win. speaking of grinding to win abby just one. The at Belmont Park at eight to five. You know. I think this could take a real run a the law, or with his I think the race. Last time in the wind is a lot better than people realize. He was asked to go to the lead for the first time and he stayed on nicely. would a couple of. New York traffic far more seasoned than him and Max `field. was you know before going to the bench one of the? One of the ones I think in this division this year so. Yeah I mean he can absolutely win the race. He's wildcards the wrong term. Bobby but I think you know what I'm getting at. Right and and let's let's take this with a grain of salt I'm you don't think they can beat his the law. I don't right so for you you to come up with a the statement that I'm to use modernised second, but I don't think he can win. Means that you really think Tis, the law will be an easy winner of the Belmont stakes. So I I wouldn't be shocked if modernist ran second. He's another one that you know. He's probably GONNA have to run better than he ever has to. Even be second in the race I. I was not thrilled. With those I guess you call them Derby preps, but you know I hate to calm preps because it makes it sound like you're taking away from the you know the enormity of the race, the risen star the Louisiana Derby those races that stand on their own I was not I didn't think those were the toughest fields. That I've seen Compared to like the past years those races at the fairground so I don't know about modernist now I will say this I know a horse you don't like is a horse that I do like, and that's Dr Post and I thought his win last time out. Let's face it against not the greatest field in the world, and the unbridled stakes showed me a lot I thought he had a of getting beaten the bride. I think I picked against him with attachment rate and Dr. Post had a nightmarish journey that day he was in between horses and bumping around and this and that basically they did everything they could to get Dr Post beat and when I say they not Iran Ortiz the other riders and horses, and he still won, and he still won't buy length and a half, and he's another one that I think can be a lot better than he was that time. That was his first non sprinting type race. And you know he's had time off and. He's got an outer post, so he probably won't have to worry about all that kind of trouble that that he saw that day I mean. Let's remember Dr Post, his one loss was in his debut last. Summer Belmont on the fourth of July. He was one to two. Against Green. Light, go another miracle. I know he wasn't close to him that. They are the word was out on Dr Posts Day that this is the horse, and he just didn't run very well, and we never saw him again until the beginning of this year. So that's kind of a throw outrace. I think this is a horse. That's getting good right now. He's never run a race that could beat Tis the laws last couple races. But you know what until? In the first three look at the improvement, the law had from his first three races to his fourth and fifth. There's no reason horses like Dr. Post or pneumatic can't continue to vault forward. You know they're not they, don't. They? Don't sit there and run these same type of races at the beginning of their three year old year that they do in the middle and the end they they the good ones improved so I would expect improvements from some of these runners, eight, nine, six, six, four, seven, seven six. "Think you probably didn't get more like three to five meaning. If you bet five win three, so you put eight bucks. In your pocket, no matter about a minute and forty eight seconds, which think that people over Wall Street would probably take that every day of the week if you can turn five eight for every minute and forty eight seconds, you're working. But how do you turn a three to five shot rich into? Eight or nine to one and that's my goal is a handicapper and most handicappers. How can you do that? You can do that by. Exact is getting exact order. The top two finishers TRIFECTA getting the top three finishers, so there's value there If you don't his law, you're going to get paid, but he certainly looks like the Horse. aright ultra have the floor. How do you turn that into eight two one nine to one you? Got The floor well. You know it's funny. Richie just mentioned eight to nine to one and the two horses that I'm actually going to build. All of my tickets around are the eight nine horse. His the laws eight horse, it'd be the favorite, and I'm also GONNA use the nine horse. Dr Post who is trained by Todd Pletcher who has won the Belmont it seems like a million times and one of the top conditioners we have in our sport and the horses owned by Bennie Viola who to own the Florida, Panther so a little hockey erris. Own some really good horses. He wanted to Kentucky Derby a couple of years ago with always dreaming, and he won the Breeders Cup classic last year with Russell, so he's he knows his way around the bar and he's got some good horse, and this is this is a really talented horse who's coming into his own and again rich with the pandemic. Horse racing and all of our lives put on hold for a period of time. No difference horse racing this I would not have made the triple crown a normal year, just because he did not mature, enough or quickly enough to get them to the races, his three-year-old years so I'm GonNa be playing all of my tickets around the eight, nine, nine eight and hopefully turning that three five shot, and Tis the law into eight or nine to one, so advised anybody that's looking to play and get their feet wet to make sure that the US the nine Dr Post so now is is a mandated. Asked this since you say the the owners the owner of the Florida. Panthers is Paul. Is The Post and Dr Post a hockey? Term it the poster I know I think this is more on a personal level for for many in the Santa Life Staples ended is hockey so yeah no. No No. The Post is you know for goaltenders? The only the only people that love the goal poster, the goalie. undersold that. Question. Tie to hockey as far as I. Know what Dr Polls for vital. Vanbiesbrouck was part of the ownership I. Did you know? Arranger guy and I went vanbiesbrouck with Florida. See I'm trying to connect some dots here here here, you. You know okay, so who else which which else? What other horses other than eight nine, might you? Might you consider here? I think you gotTa look at I think you gotTA. Look at the two horse. Sola Allante, horse that now is. This I mean this is. This is old school. racing here This horse ran only ten days ago. Which twenty five and thirty five years ago. That seems to be pretty normal. Where horses ran, just thoroughbreds ran if they were ready ten days fifteen days after a race. Now this is the horse that will probably be coming from a good distance out of it rich, but sources doing very well. I don't think Patrick being calling the trainer would be would be sending this horse in this situation The horse finished second in the Tampa Bay Derby, to King Guillermo who happens to be owned by Victor, Martinez Longtime Major League all star player for a long time. He owns that Horace King Guillermo. Who might be right now rich? Victor he might have the second made. Probably has the third best horse three-year-old right now in training ready for the Kentucky Derby so an interesting storyline for viewers and listeners out there, but I I would say you have to use the two horses well the one horse topic to wins got a lot of speed, but I think there's some other speed in here. That might put a little bit of pressure so I'm going to build a legacy I'm gonNA. Majority of my tickets are on eight nine, but I think. You certainly have to use a two-horse. Soleil Volante maybe horse underneath? Okay all Righty, so do you take down Chris? You take that down your overall. Okay, all right? Our Buddy Hank Goldberg a pneumatic. And he likes. What does it in modernist number? After after after hammer and in yours, truly we we've got a covered I. Mean we? We've got. We've got half the field. So, what does that tell you okay? Go ahead, but the other. No, no, don't say that you know, but you brought it. Just like Hammer did yesterday where you not only give us your thoughts and maybe can make some people. Some money brought some another wonderful story Yours is uplifting in the fact of your beautiful son Who's now going to give you a grandchild? thought that the entire. Parade for the Rangers was for him and his birthday. That's a wonderful, lovely beautiful story. Just the on the opposite side Hank Goldberg recounted the time that Jimmy. The Greek slapped Brent musburger across the face so that that's on the other things so you but you both brought. It is what I'm saying and we appreciate it. Both circle. We got it all. We got it all covered on richeisenshow. Just Gretna, just glad to be very small piece of. Eddie I love when you're on, so thanks for the call. We'll have you on again real soon. Be Wealthy. "If it's at a mile and a half I mean you have a lot of horses who are coming off of mile might? WanNa Sixteenth Racist, jumping all the way up to the mile and a half it would be so interesting modernist of the only one coming off longer I think than a mile and a sixteenth right on August Max. Player was a mile and an eighth, and just was right. Yeah, the Florida you're okay, so isn't that crazy to think that they would go to a mile and a half, but that being said. The distance you know I don't know who it. Plays a factor, too, at this point, because every horse in the race has one. or at least competed very well. Over a mile! And most of them at a my on sixteen mile on at eight, so it's a rare year where you know I. Don't I mean just pedigree matter in this year's Belmont stakes. It doesn't matter to me almost ever, and maybe that's why I'm a horrible Belmont handicapper because the race itself, I've just never ever had a good feel for, and never really had a good selection. I mean I'm always you know the fan and the marketer in me is always of course rooting for a triple crown because it's it's just fun to see. That I wasn't ready for justify justify fan, American. Fair I was happy to see that happen in like Smarty Jones. I was rooting for him and and others but. You know I just this year. I don't know that the distances anything I mean I to me. It's Tis. The law is going to be very tough, just based on the fact that he has some decent tactical speed. He should be able to sit a nice trip. I think. He drew very well. The horses to his outside You know being Dr Post and pneumatic. Now they're both. Dr Post has been mostly a little bit off. The pace type of pneumatic has been you know was off the pace. When he was going shorter, he was a little closer last time, but I don't feel like any of that. Either one of them's going to spin out there and just cut right across Tis the plus they have a run to the far turn you know of what is it six furlongs over there or something like that? Or maybe it's not that far, but it's a long ways from when they're going to break to when they hit the turn so. I it would just seem to me that Tis the law would want to be in the clear if he loses three or four path, who cares and take your chance beaten him. I mean I don't know how this race sets up for a Farmington road, or or any of the deep close Oh four left. Maybe that's the horse I wasn't expecting to be in. The race showed up to it. Is that right. Yeah, that's who I was an ex. That's who wasn't on my My probables list, but I just don't know how I. Mean I guess if it? I'm going to be real interested to look at the optics plot when it comes out tomorrow just because I. mean there's who's the true front runner here? Tap to win I mean he's. He's. He was on the lead last time through pretty honest fractions mind you may. Maybe he's who who kind of sends out I mean drawn the rail. I suppose it. It makes sense that he would you know kind of run out to the early lead, but? Yeah I'm curious to see kind of what the plot tells me. And I just utilized that as a gauge. It's you know optics Dr F...

"My on the All Belmont. Here on the air. But. I don't think they truly understand that. A violent Nathan gaumont really does change the dynamic of the races taking it from that they had to turn marathon than to one turn race where you started back in the deep shooting. You have a long run up the back stretch in one and then the one far. It's more. There's more to it than just all the races on the on my own year. that. Well, it's a good thing that it's a mile and an eighth, because it is of course longer than a long sprint, even though it's one turn, but it's really not a sprint, because there's not a lot of speed signed onto this race, except maybe tap to win. So how do you approach this? If you're a writer with such a long straight run to the only turn of this race? I think. In what we seen in the past from dom on his kind. They just. Typically. People just assume that the longer raisins favor these grinder. Are these closers? They're closing fast shorter distance, so that means make backgrounds at them. All happened was closures typically. Don't hit the board. Don't win as much as people think. In Creator, one coming went tastes and gala cam from off the pace, but he. But I typically closest on. I'm curious to see is maybe the fact that the racy short end up to a modern eight. If that made me favors a little bit more. Of a stone cold closer. To maybe winner it very very least pull pull up then the back end the back part of the exact, but but you're right I. Think a lot of people were Resort on TAP to win as potential loan speed Murray's that he draws the round, then he he's, he's pop committed in half to go, and I think the connections of four left where we're looking at that noticed doing like you know what. Why don't we try and run an extra? Two long and the delmonte shake carrier speed a little bit more and see what happens he's. He's completely outclassed, but he does. To the peace of the race and I think. A horse like modernist I think it's very very interesting, because if you look at modern, his best performance eighty runs Katrina and Bill Maher. Who? Doesn't just show up all the time and triple crown races and when he does, he's usually pretty I mean he? He hits the Board in runs big with prices. He he won the risen star off of that made race where we one gate to wire risen star. Stock the pace and then took it over and then Louisiana Derby. He was go. Overdraw post fourteen all the outside and it was only beaten. Four lanes so you looked at me? There's a chance that he could tied a workout that grinding type trip maybe like like like address. Meyer did or a country. How Derby laughter and maybe he could be your. You're crazy long and hits the board, but I mean you just the way the ray sets up but I do think I, it's GonNa. Be Very hard to to eliminate of all the one time they win. Within the Slot Churchill and came up a little flat off that you champagne. Year old the Dhamma inside most of my handicap in the Rangers get most of my wagering Murray's or going to the lean towards. To the law being on top and I'll probably. Look towards modern instrument of your Horse Max Player underneath for second to horses. You have not mentioned are to who really interest me here and those are the todd pletcher trained horses, Dr Post and Farmington Road I. Think Farmington Road would have been a lot more strongly considered. Had this race actually been a mile and a half? He's breeding is very long distance, and that this is taking some of his advantage away, but he's still a. A pretty decent horse, but Dr Post, only three starts look really good at Gulfstream near the beginning of the Cova outbreak, winning the unbridled stakes I read still trying to Dr. poster respond urging size all over with tax rate top of the lane on the far outside attack for rate from between Dr Post Doctor Post now up for the lead attachment rate is second. Let there be no doubt WHO's best. It's Dr Post on even money winner. He hasn't run since then, and that brings again. The question I started with or any of these horses ready to run this race. Dr Post look really really good gets a rod or The best jockey in the country. I can't discount him even though he's probably. A Little Bit Green. Yeah I I. Think between the two Farmington Road and Dr Post I would lean towards a doctor. Obviously, he did not. Draw greatly. Dry as well as on the far side just outside. Of, his love it, maybe that does help. Does that matter in a one turn mile and an eighth race? I Don I. Don't think it does. That's why I gotta say. Maybe maybe really doesn't matter. It gives them a little bit of a target as well and. I don't really know what he's beating A. Rate. Is decent horse from for Dell Romans that was about a million to one. I think I in a maiden race. And then he finally stepped up in in one the following following. FARMINGTON ROAD I'm not sure is Kinda thought he was a potential upset her at oaklawn instant, but he never really. He never really threatened at all and can get on that racer. I'm not as high on Farmington, road yelling obviously they did debut Madama like most of. The top pletcher horses do I in New York, but I'm not I'm not as high from Germs I. Think I actually. There's talk to because I think he probably has. The the bigger upside at this point in the year one more big picture question, I, thought when this cove nineteen break hit and the triple crown races were rescheduled. You would have all of the horses that were hurt. In February and March rounding into form, and then these late bloomers, ready to go as well, and this could be the deepest triple crown ever, and then down goes in doll and down go charlotte, and then, and now all of a sudden. It's like who's left. Do you think this is a field worthy of a triple crown race? It's definitely got some filler in. That's for sure Well but some Avantis in the states winner in stakes placed to the law to get certainly be any kind, and and maybe talking about Dr Posts, maybe he does. take a huge step forward and goes on and had. To bigger and better things pneumatic certainly wasn't embarrassed Field in his in his last race at Church. Isn't it isn't a typical triple crown. No, but at the same time. How many times do we that about maybe the previous? Those horses coming out of the Derby. Skip skipped. Skip the kissing pointed on are just don't want and another triple crown race and what you get in A. Couple of local horses or maybe some of those seconds thirty awards that have just looking to run and know that I'm on I. Have Typically he's not going to be what they want so with a while. Obviously, it's not. A race that we were typically assume would be the quality of Obama trip. Raisin I think right now in this day and age you have. A special. into law something that certainly both watching, and even those who are not heard and we mentioned Max Ville, there's also heard.

The opportunities might be more prevalent for those kind of horses would have been in to just run down here, but there's no doubt right now. You sent a Lotta horses into the Gulfstream. We're starting to see a few of them. New faces start to work here in the morning. We had a couple today couple of the other day, but I'm trying you know hopefully. I, get all of them. Today's back in New York now. Hopefully they get the get the skinny on that, but he. He definitely has offices in here on Friday. Unbelievable well, the reason I was angling toward a pletcher conversation was because both of his horses now with Gouverneur Morris, detouring to the Bluegrass that leads Farmington Road and Dr Post and they both have been down at Palm Beach downs, and actually Farmington road is worked adroitly as it happens. Yeah Yeah. What what? You got anything. Yet you have, did you? Has has been around or is anybody. Out there a couple of weeks, but they are on their works all. "I read continued his Awesome writing in his return. I had said you know. Maybe he'll be a little cold. Maybe he'll you know maybe he won't be so sharp and he was just awesome on Saturday. I mean you know making moves and and writing the best horses and putting him in for the most part good spots a sham rocket. You can argue Lewis. I got the best of him in that seventh race were Venezuelan hug for Danny Argon. Just made a massive move. It was claimed for Guardian and went up and class from maiden fifty two maiden special weight and ran off and won by five on the grass like it was absolutely nothing. It was very impressive effort to to say the least legit who I thought was maybe GonNa be something at four to five. I mean he was completely done by the time they went onto the turn. It just didn't jump but pleasures other horse. Who We talked about. You know being I kind of said I WANNA came to the stakes racist. I was Kinda right. Go against a rings and Bella Fina but you know go for Dr Post and docked post. He looked be at various times. He kind of was in bad. Spots for various periods of that race the unbridled stakes American is for Marquette. Got Out to the front relentless dancer I thought would be for sure the pacesetter and was like a couple of links back in second and wasn't really hustled. It didn't look like so. That's kind of change the complexity race Amir. Kansas was able to go pretty reasonable fractions. And I thought for a split second might sneak away but attachment rate. The horse didn't like it. All for Romans came up to Dr Post and they rally together but Dr Post kind of like I said he was in a bad spot really the whole race seem like he was between horses and finally able to kind of scoot clear in the last little bit and at the very end was pulling away from attachment rate in American and so I thought a still a pretty promising effort from a horse who I think is going to be Quite good Seems to be pretty talented. And I mean he had. He had overcome some things he had to learn some lessons and he really really did it to validate again. The price was very short. Was He worth it And even money I you know. Probably not an and but as I look back I mean he Really really did some nice work in that race to To score the victory so it was a nice win in the unbridled stakes for that one global campaign taking that allowance preview. Yorktown made a huge run. Got To lead had to battle for it but they went hard early in. York in kind of put away spin off and rear four who were as early competitors but just not able to hold off global campaign. Who came with a Nice Rally for Chris? Landeros to get up for the win. I said he wouldn't be a six to one morning. Line ended up going off at five two and majestic Dunhill put in a pretty big move his first start off almost a year off but he got the pace to run into and came with a furious rally down the center of the course and pretty logical in the finale with a bit of luck beating it and analyzed with limited. One of my better tout's of our Friday show. He ended up going off at nine to two and one like a good thing. So that was good to see but Yeah Fun Fun weekend racing and obviously leading up to a very very big weekend as I mentioned earlier Matt Hegarty from. Dif going to join us. "And for making sure that mainstream media does not forget about what happens in Puerto Rico while you got me, it's the truth. Like, I rarely get emotional on the show. But it's like the end of the year, I'm trying to push through this money. It's the truth Julio, I'm really thankful for everything that you do this year when it comes to Puerto Rico was was a mission. And I couldn't have done it without my colleagues like yourself people have with media just believing in the fact that this story mattered. I really honestly believe that if I was working in other places, I would have had to fight a lot more for these stories and here, it was like, Nope. We're doing it. And we're going to do it the way we want to do it. And that's what in the thick is all about and it kind of goes to how we do immigration coverage. I know people are like, oh here we go talking about immigration. But we deeply believe that that type of reporting has to be done the right way. Do you are like the immigration detainers and people need to look at the complexities. And now this is priority number one. And I want to ask you we covered a lot of immigration on him to fix this year. But what was your favorite moment? I don't know if I have a favorite moment. I think what I appreciate that. We do on the on this show is that we allow ourselves as journalists to show our humanity and the concern that we have for what's happening to our fellow human beings at this moment. There are children who are being held in conditions that we don't know by people who we know barely have background checks to be working with children. We know that they are being held in facilities where women get consistently sexually assaulted. So I appreciate the fact that we are always giving contexts I've been covering this story since my very first ever journalistic report and that was. In January of nineteen eighty five while you even I will tell you one episode. That was yeah. It was the kind of thing that you can't forget, and it was the conversation that I had I think you were away. I think but this was with this bad as brain expert from UCLA her name is Dr Gina POE, right? And I was away. I was traveling. But I'm gonna tell you right now.
