"Say they have rounded up dozens of skilled bombmakers Indonesian police say that they have arrested his Llamas state-linked terror suspects, including some who plan to detonate bombs at political demonstrations. When election results are announced next week, police said the militants wanted to take advantage of any political unrest, and using wifi to remotely detonate. These bombs filled the backpacks at crowded demonstrations could happen anywhere, US consumer sentiment jumped to a fifteen year high in early may amid growing confidence over the economy's outlook. That's good news. Former US vice president, Joe Biden has shown some surprising strength in the first three weeks of his campaign for the democratic presidential nomination prompting, persistent question can any. Other Democrats stop him. Let's check in with Dr John Curtis online, columnist dot com. John, what's your take on all of this so far? I could only viable candidate, the Democrats have another Kamala Harris, from California would like to think otherwise, she was quite average Biden's gesture that you'd make good number two, and, you know, given George it's a little premature saying something like that. But surely is looking at because. He's, he's polling thirty percent. And Bernie Sanders have big twenty sixteen campaign as you know, against Hillary is at about sixteen percent mall harasses about nine percent, and the rest of them are really, including by the way, Elizabeth Warren and better award really into five and six percent. So Biden is leaks and bounds are head of competition, and I believe that what's happened. Is that democratic voters who are being polled right now believe that they think he's the best chance they have a beating Trump in twenty twenty and Biden edgy Herden, probably seen in the past is, is, is when, when it gets injured extemporaneous situation, he can be daft crown point, where it's almost Barrasso to listen to them. And you know, I'm out enough. You've heard any of his interview, great Ed deliver. That's for sure. No, he's not at all. And if. He's not living speech and debate. I mean you know, you don't know how badly kill perform in front of other people. But I think at this point if Biden tense. I mean, this is what the Democrats have if they want to go after and destroy his candidates, they're really not going to have a viable candidate because I think that even Warren Buffett. And, you know, his Charlie Munger basically saying what folks, you know, we don't like Trump any more than the nets jive but you're not gonna you're not gonna put a socialist in right now. And, you know, try to impose the great new, you know, you know, energy deal and, and, you know, Medicare for all, and some of these other wild programs that would literally bankrupt the country and send the semi economy in a nosedive. So I think Biden's basically, they're going to have to live with them one way or another. I don't think they've got anybody else, not at this point. Thanks, john. John Curtis online, columnist dot com. Suicide rates for young girls are rising at a pace faster than that of boys changing the established patterns that boys are more likely to die by suicide, and that girls are more likely to consider it attempted, according to a new study researchers at nationwide children's hospital in Columbus, Ohio, analyze suicide rates of US, kids and teens aged attended nineteen between nineteen seventy five in two thousand sixteen using what they call the wide ranging online data. Run by the US centers for disease control and prevention in that period. There were more than eighty five thousand suicides in kids and teens with eighty percent in boys and twenty percent girls the rates of suicide peaked in nineteen Ninety-three and had been in the decline until two thousand seven when they started to climb again, let's check in with our residents psychiatrist, Dr Peter Brennan, who is an expert on some of these matters. Peter, what's going on here, why this suicide rate and girl? Rising. Well, I think the fuel is, is your social media with girls really more sensitive than boys, more easily hooked into it, where easily made depressed, by the social relationships, but it's just the fuel. It's, it's part of a many things that are upsetting our young people, but I think I can show the psychiatric drugs of the spark here that have really caused this increase in suicide. I think that has a lot to do with Peter a lot to do with it in two thousand seven and eight, which is when this increase occurred, I know it is not an increase in suicide attempts. It's an increase in suicide completed actual suicide and the antidepressant drugs drugs in general, but, especially in the antidepressant, drugs, colas violent suicide successful suicides. Girls used to take drugs, and they would. Much smaller percentage succeed in killing themselves, and now and I think it's because of the influence of multiple drugs that getting including anti-depressant. They they're doing more hanging themselves. Hang themselves much ways, do they never do before suffocate themselves. I think that there is key of what is, what are anti depressants doing too large number of our kids and also in two thousand seven the, the, the was a rise in the use of anti-depressants. They trailed off a little bit because they got a black box warning for for suicide. So the suicide behavior. So the doctor said, well, I'm gonna cut back on this. Well, the pharmaceutical industry in their hundreds of lackey doctors went wild after that from two thousand four. Two thousand eight doctors clearly bought by the drug companies convinced. This mean anything that you were going to cause more on by, by not helping these kids with depression, even though the evidence shows, and I depend don't help kids with depression, the drug companies did this by spending a ton of money by getting the big doctors, and so on? The rates are also rates. These complete suicides, the highest among white females and the children youth group and these kids that have the most access to psychiatric treatment and psychiatric drugs stimulants skyrocketed from about that period of two thousand two thousand eight day course suicide depression. One of them's to tear has a black box warning, and also for suicide suicide behavior. Also doing this time. Johnson and Johnson. Doctors at Harvard, you start pushing rispler dole for children's jeeze, the kids would getting labeled with this with bipolar and getting these awful drugs. And fact, they faced a huge two billion or more fine from the federal government in part for full see pushing these drugs on kids. So in some we have a huge load of drugs on kids now and I'm cooling, George. I've been calling for about a year now. "Donald Trump. Now, we have to views for you, first of all Dr John Curtis online columnist dot com. Well, it didn't show much John. Yeah. No. Of course, not and not only that but think logically about this laws about logic. How do you have an obstruction case about a collusion case that doesn't exist? So you're asking people to say that when we must prosecute Trump for obstructing the climb that was committed he tried to cover up a crime of collusion that never happened. So the whole structure case is completely bogus. It's another political attempt by the gams in advance of the twenty twenty election. They had all hoped that they could get Trump convicted convicted of collusion in obstruction of Justice happened. So they want to keep this going in order to bloodied him as much as possible. And when you when you think about the fact that Twenty-three prosecutors spent nearly two years in the most intense edge, forty forty million dollars. Forty million dollars later, and they came up with nothing other than an opportunity now. And remember the Trump basically give not use executive privilege. He said go ahead and put the report out there, and guess what's happening. Now, the dams are cherry picking every word taking everything out of contract. And essentially saying the Trier of fact, which was Robert Muller and his investigators and the department of Justice is unacceptable. We now put this back into vans of Adam Schiff in Jerrold, Nadler, and logic comings and all the rest of them in the very partisan house of representatives to keep this controversy alive. It's long as possible. It's not there. John. And I think that eventually this is going to boomerang on the gums. And frankly, I think it's going to go away. John Curtis online, columnists dot com. Not let's get the views of Howard, bloom leans left, but it's important to get a balanced perspective. Go ahead Howard. Well, John Curtis's is very wrong as usual in my opinion, viciously partisans hustle of was released today and a massive question before we get to the question here today's events, thanks to the redacted report. Democrats or Republicans are both declaring victory Republicans are triumphant because little reports is that there was no conspiracy and no coordination between the Trump team in the Russians are yes. The report says the Russians played an enormous role in Donald Trump. Yes. The Miller report says the Russians reached out over and over against the Trump team. But with roughly eight exceptions from did not reach back. What's more the Moore? Ford says that the Russians provided Trump's important campaign weapon, Hillary Clinton, and John Podesta's emails and yes most. Disturbing all the memo report says that the Russian successfully recruited pro-trump groups like the tea party a mount demonstrations at the Russians direction, but the Miller report says these pro-trump dukes of the Kremlin are innocent because they had no idea as people guiding them, we're Russia's what's more the redacted villa report. But it's eight hundred fifty five reductions that you pointed out says that a conspiracy takes over degree between the Russian government and the Trump campaign election interference the highly successful parallel efforts of the Trump team in the Russians never rose to this legal standard s were collusion says the Miller report that is not a legal term. The Miller team says that collusion is not something that investigated. Nonetheless, Republicans like Chuck urt say the collusion is not some or it's nonetheless, they're repeating the president's months that there was no collusion or important. Republicans are saying Mueller investigation which used the word shrink general William Bara -ployed in nineteen page memo Republicans are saying that. Miller probe was bogus. Some Republicans led by the president have concluded that now it's time to investigate the people who started this attempted a coup. The so called phoney conspiracy toss Donald Trump out of power. Who are the plotters Trump supporters went up Barack Obama Hillary Clinton James Comey, James Clapper, Bruce, McCabe and half a dozen more that the Democrats have a different take the Miller report shows that Donald Trump was horrified that the American public might think that he wanted to election with help from the Russians the president did everything is Howard stop the Russian investigation. He tried to get his aides to fire Miller over and over again from Jeff Sessions to White House attorney down the game. None of these members of the Trump team were willing to carry out. Trump's orders more important than Oo report shows that Donald Trump is a habit of conspiring with his team to lie to the American public over and over again, according to MSNBC, this means Donald Trump may be the first job of the president uphold defend the constitution that the most. Important question raised by the Miller report is with the middle report shows a highly successful, sabotage of the American electoral process, a sabotage engineered by the Russians a rushing act of cyber war from tried to stop Miller's investigation with Russian attack over and over again. In other words, our president our commander in chief open to up to even more successful worship assaults in the future, and these electrical manipulations don't just hit us. They did England France, Germany, Austria, Italy, and even Israel. He's manipulations designed to tear park those successful peacekeeping alliance in modern history NATO and the free world. So the big question on the democratic side. This is trucks. Obstruction is attempt to keep us run investigating this Kremlin skulduggery, a high crime and misdemeanor is treason. It will probably die right word is right now. Our and then eventually go away. But there you have it two distinct different views on a subject that has. Divided the country right down the middle even small amounts of red and processed meat such as bacon can increase the risk of bowel cancer Cording to the research. Latest study led by Oxford University and funded by the cancer research group of the UK says that eating red meat can be harmful. Just be careful folks a man with things in his mouth, and is like a demon has been arrested over the murder of a popular tattoo artists found with bite marks on her neck. She was found dead in her blood soaked department in the crane would stab wounds and bites all over the place. What else is going on in the skies these days? "Peak later tonight starseed's, here's what's happening. Tragedy in the Swiss Alps about a dozen people maybe buried following an avalanche or the very popular Swiss Alps ski resort. Rescuers were searching for people with the aid of dogs and helicopters so far. No luck. President Donald Trump has expressed confidence that he would prevail in a lawsuit filed by sixteen states seeking to overturn his declaration of a national emergency. If the US Mexico border, saying the states are led by mostly by open border, Democrats in the radical left first, let's check in with John Curtis. Dr John Curtis online columnist dot com. John first of all, do you think the president has a right to say, this is an emergency. Well, it depends on what your definition of emergency. I think that, you know, does it have to do with NAMI hitting the west coast, or, you know, some kind of a major quite no, it's not that type of an emergency. But it is a it is a crisis on the border. Trump has article to power been crushing of the United States and commander in chief, and George really what the Democrats have John would this and the state's attorneys-general that are largely democrat Trump is right about that. Is it made this kind of a a turf war a kind of constitutional crisis? The matter is that the executive branch and the legislative branch each have their own power and authority, and there are per strings that are controlled not not by the the congress. I mean, contrary to what you hear. If you listen to some of the pundits on these news shows that are anti Trump. And you know, you know, clearly saying that there was some kind of a fascist constitutional crisis happening. It's preposterous. The executive branch is capable of. Starring wars funding wars. For whatever reason spending trillions of dollars on these wars, not, you know, measly few billion to build out a border wall, and they don't require congressional approval altered out. So what you have right now are Democrats posturing the foreign election year talking about this is some kind of a constitutional crisis when the executive branch and the legislative branch are always competition for making these decisions about the purse strings in priority priorities, where money can be spent at I think under article one, you know, the congress has it's a. Authority. And I don't believe that Trump is trying to usurp their authority. I think what he's trying to do is say look we have ever border emergency any his estimates. Estimates of a number of other attorneys that are working for him. And they're saying you don't you don't have to politically agree with me about it. But I'm entitled as commander in chief to recognize that the flood of drugs and human trafficking going on on the southern border is is a serious problem to the United States, and that he will take charge with is executive oracle. Article two powers is commander in chief and allocate the resources needed for that now to go to court battle. Sure, the Democrats might be able to find a just record somewhere that will agree with them or even a circuit court. But if this thing continues to go on just like the travel ban for individuals immigration from Muslim countries. Trump could very well. Prevail in the supreme court on this. He's got a majority of conservatives right now. All right. Thank you. John John's website online columnist dot com. And of course, the liberal Howard bloom. What do you think Howard? I couldn't disagree more withdrawn. I mean, I disagree radical you never agree on anything. Anyway. Right. Right. But okay. So here's where the battle of the emergency stands Donald Trump was declared national emergency. So he can get together. The six billion dollars worth since all of his wall. Now, why is this six billion dollars worth of wall? Just a mere installment because America's border with Mexico is two thousand miles long. That's roughly the distance from LA just Kogyo. No, imagine what what it cost to build a big beautiful wall from LA to the city of the Chicago Cubs. So President Trump's figures refer wall have been in the twenty five billion dollar range, and that may be a gross underestimate. Meanwhile, it turns out that a national -mergency is not unusual Fifty-three national emerge. Agencies have been declared since nineteen seventy six thirty two of these national emergencies are still in effect. Now, what is unusual, and this is something where Jonah I really disagree is using national emergency to override congress, and the yank money from budgets. The congress is allocated for other purposes. No officials according to military times have deemed the projects from which the president is planning to steal some of his funds critical to force readiness. That means critical to your security in mind. More important. The constitution does say that only. Congress has the power of the purse. Now, some argue that what President Trump is doing is unconstitutional. Jonah's worried about that they say that he is grabbing hold of a power that the constitution gives the congress and only the congress Trump's opponents also accused him of manufacturing a fake crisis immigration across the Mexican border. They say has gone down dramatically in the last twelve years. And that's true. What's more once immigrants get here? Numerous studies show that they are less violent and criminal than the Americans. Who are so anxious to lock them out? Trump says that those come across the border, rapists, murderers and drug dealers and gang members say Trump's critics these claims are false don't even Fox News Britt Hume confessed Tucker Carlson that quote, what we're getting his families and small children, and it used to be that we got you know, single. Then the crisis says humans that these women and children have overwhelmed or officials of the border, and that says Hume has created courses. Yes, they noted FOX commentator says the crisis is not one of rapists, murderers, drug dealers and gang members this crisis, women and children. Fox News is also featured border patrol wives to bolster the case for the wall alas, the border patrol wives said that they live in the Rio Grande valley where the rapists murderers drug dealers and gang members should be streaming through like a flash flood, and yet these wives toll FOX they feel perfectly safe. It's just that they feel their husbands could use a little extra help. And high traffic areas. Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson said that the evidence that immigrants are more peaceful than folks. Born and raised in America exists. Sorry, tucker. I have seen the research. I work with it. It might be time to educate yourself. The last word goes to George Washington who disagreed with Donald Trump profoundly about those seeking asylum in the United States are first president and founding father. Yes, I'm talking George Washington himself said may America be an asylum to the persecuted of the earth. Interesting take our does the president toward the states when these lawsuits, well, I'm hoping that the state's win because George because John said that the president is commander in chief has a whole bunch of powers, including the power to make war. No that's unconstitutional since ever since the Vietnam war. Our presidents have been getting any even Harry Truman with Korea. Our presidents have been taking us into wars. But that is against the constitution. The constitution says that congress has to be consulted and has to agree to make a war. That's true. Howard bloom. Thank you so much. How would you like to work a four day workweek and still get paid for five? Hey, everybody would the founder of one of the first big companies in New Zealand has switched to a four day working week kept the money the same for everybody. And apparently he says they've resulted in a twenty percent rise in productivity and everybody seems happy and prophets have increased interesting take their Ford Motor Company said it will close its oldest factory in Brazil and exit. It's heavy commercial truck business in South America. A move that will cost more than twenty seven hundred jobs there as part of restructuring meant to end.

"Billion. But he's not gonna get nearly that Dr John Curtis online columnist dot com with this here, John tell us, what do you think about this? Preliminary deal. Oh, it's a done deal. George, and I've said this for a week or so that there will be no government shutdown again, and this particular deal that was struck. I think it was a reasonable bargain. I could really proved that a conference committee absence Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer can really get something done. And I think they gave Trump one point three seven. Billion for border wall constructs border fence construction. They don't like to call it a wall, and they gave him another one point six billion for miscellaneous ser technology. Surveillance added ice personnel. That's the border all in all it's it's it's a package worth about three billion or a little more than fifty percent of what Trump originally wanted, but not a bad compromise, though, not a bad compromise at all. And then the big deal was spoken people over the weekend. I had to do with the the border detention beds. If they wanted to knock down from currently, I think it's about forty two thousand five hundred beds to about thirty four thousand and the government, the Democrats, basically, let go of that that stipulation at the end of the negotiation. So he retained the same number of detention beds desert people jumped at the border people who are no place to go. Point these beds. Exactly, they need the beds for, you know, appropriate care while in detention and at the same time, you know, I mean Trump gets virtually fifty over fifty percent of what he's asked for. And I think it's a ideal that is going to avert another government shutdown. That's the important thing. John we could ill afford to have another government shutdown. We've had employees going without paychecks. As a matter of fact, some you as we were Gordon. Denver for the weekend for beyond belief television. Tapings I was talking to the Selma TSA employees in the Denver area. And they said that he had received just one check so far. So they're still doing other check from what they missed. "Up the pressure on Jeff visas to stop selling facial recognition technology to government agencies the shareholders with her shares worth about one point three billion dollars. The filed a resolution aimed at stopping the company selling its controversial facial recognition technology to these agencies. Interesting. About twelve hundred immigration cases. In Illinois alone have been cancelled since the government shutdown more than forty two thousand cases, have been canceled around the country, the government shutdown stems from the dispute, of course, over the border security, but with the government, shutdown immigration cases aren't getting heard and in some circumstances. It's buying real time for illegal immigrants all over the country, president Donald Trump's conflict with Democrats over the partial US government shutdown has escalated with Mr. Trump denying house speaker Nancy Pelosi's use of military aircraft for an overseas trip in an apparent retaliation for her suggestion that he delayed the annual state of the union address, Dr John Curtis online columnist dot com with John this is kind of getting out of hand. Well, the gloves come off. Now, there's no civility left. We've seen the ugliness at its worst. I mean, maybe could get worse than this. But I mean, you're looking at, you know, the executive branch and a co equal branch and the congress basically at war with each other. And it started as soon as dancy Pelosi, basically, you know, took over his house speaker again on January third. I mean this latest kit for tat where yesterday she says, I'm distant fighting you. Yeah. To a joint session of congress for the state of the union speech to the president to the president, you know, normal state of the union speech was which was designated for the twenty ninth of January and then today, no surprise here. Retaliation by saying, okay, you're not you're not going on your junket overseas when this government shutdown, and you know, you spend enough time over the holidays when he was at the White House waiting for some kind of an overture from you know, Pelosi or Schumer. To be able to resolve this thing waited weeks. And now, you know from her trip to Hawaii. And now she's talking about visiting the troops with George. The most important message that you can imagine she wants to go over there and say thank you to the troops for their service to the country. Now, come on millions of dollars eight government jet and an entire coterie of people to travel with her over something like this when the government shutdown somebody has to mediate this situation. It's got to be done fast, eight hundred thousand government employees without paychecks. How long can they last John? Well, I, you know, I've already reports of them like fire sales on Craigslist, and then performing all kinds of you know, other kinds of unrelated kind of work Uber in left and driving doing anything that they can right now. Because this is a war going on let there be. No, be no mistake. Anybody listening? Our government right now is in a civil war and Nancy Pelosi is an and and and Trump right now need mediation in order to stop this nonsense on both sides both sides need to negotiate an end to this. "From the city of angels near the Pacific Ocean. Good morning. Good evening wherever you may be across the nation around the world. I'm George Noory, walk him to coast to coast AM later on tonight goes to the civil war looking forward to that. Here's what's happening. For the first time on record Americans are more likely to die of an accidental opioid overdose. Then in a motor vehicle crash. According to a new report from its national safety council. It's an epidemic. Doing less sitting and more moving is tied to living longer. According to a new study replacing thirty minutes per day of just hanging around and doing nothing with thirty minutes of physical activity at a light intensity was associated with a seventeen percent lower risk of early death. In a study published in the American journal of app. UD Miala G our condolences tonight to singer and actor Pat Boone on the death of his wife, surely surely died several days ago. She was eighty four years old the nineteen fifty star confirmed that his wife died to people magazine saying they shared a wonderful blessed life together for sixty five years, and he knew one day they'll be reunited with his beloved President Donald Trump used an address Monday to the American Farm Bureau convention to dig in on his call for a border wall. Even as new polling indicates most Americans oppose his administration strategy of. Mandated money for the US Mexico barrier in exchange for ending the partial government shutdown I flew from Saint Louis to Denver to do our beyond belief television programs wall in Denver coming back to Los Angeles yesterday. I was talking to some TSA employees, none of whom had received checks yet. But they're still coming into work doing what they do. Dr John Curtis online. Colonists dot com with us. John your predictions are coming true. This is a disaster. It is a disaster. And it's having about attractive about a billion dollars a day to the US economy and Wall Street is essentially on hold, you know, even though that it get rises true like a thousand twelve hundred points or so in the last week. I mean, there's a great reluctance on the part of anybody to really start buying into anything. Because no one really knows how long is this going to go on speculation today is it's going to go on until he deliver. At least until he delivers his state of the union speech, which is on the twenty ninth of January. But even after that, you're looking at you're looking at a recalcitrance on the part of those sides right now to the point where the ones that have been tossed under the bus here are really federal employees. And I think everybody would be served by letting these folks go back to work performing rather vital services. I don't think anybody. Wants to wait any longer in lines for TSA than they already. Do. Hey, I want to ask you a question with the monarch probe who's paying them? And are they getting a salary? Well, of course, I mean that's completely funded. So Muller is and I think a lot of this George to does relate to the molar prob-. I think Pelosi and Schumer believe that there's gonna be some kind of bombshell. That's going to happen. You know in the next few weeks as he wraps him his final report. But I report on Sunday on face the nation. What we're or maybe it was on the ABC show with Jonathan Karl said that he's inside connections. I mean to whatever extent this is worth anything at said, there's no not going to be any bombshell. It's going to be completely anticlimactic. It's gonna give nothing to the Democrats or the Republicans as far as any. Closure on this whole idea. And you have this report that came out over the weekend that Trump is somehow an employee or you know, somehow owned and operated by the Kremlin. And that was an FBI investigation and Lindsey Graham now that he's the head of the Senate Judiciary committee has said he plans to open up an investigation into what was your evidence to possibly open up an investigation on Trump suggesting that he was actually an employee of the Kremlin. And you know, you heard this Washington Post report that came out following up on that more of the same really about a meeting that Trump had with Vladimir Putin in Hamburg, Germany and one in Helsinki in which the notes of the the translator or whoever was doing the transcript there were returned to Trump. So that no one could find out any details. Of what they discussed. So the implication is these employees of the Kremlin and something is gotta give with this George because I mean, this has been going on like a year and a half. Now, you got some you've got some facts that you wanna really put out there that are real facts put them out there. But all this wild speculation is doing no one any good. And I don't think that there's going to be any resolution on this government shutdown until after the smaller report comes out at a better happen soon. Then John thank you online columnist dot com. Don't know. This is the oval super the total lunar eclipse that'll take place in the zodiac constellation of cancer, the crab, but on a more technical know, Georgia's interesting, all these eclipses come from the Ciro cycles like a nineteen year repetitive cycle. This one happens to be the twenty-seven eclipse of Seventy-three over a period of some twelve hundred and eighty years the next one and this say roasts that will see another one like this occurs on January thirty first of twenty thirty seven but towards what? About closer to home. The last total lunar eclipse menounos remember just about a year ago January thirtieth last year. The next one jot this down folks may the twenty sixth of twenty twenty one and then another one on November the eighth of twenty twenty two. So here's some tips on seeing the eclipse begins with its partial phases. This Sunday evening eastern standard time around ten thirty pm naturally seven thirty pm on the west coast. But the real good part of this is is the maximum time. The so-called blood of the moon of blood moon, sixty two minutes of totality. So get those cameras out those telescopes out because the temperatures drop on the moon, whether or not a Chinese object landed on the on the on the far side, whether it did or didn't temperatures rage on the sun side of the mode when it's nearly at full phase at around two hundred sixty degrees Fahrenheit, dropping down during the eclipse to about two hundred below zero and towards something fascinating. "The city of angels near the Pacific Ocean. Good morning. Good evening wherever you may be across the nation around the world. I'm George Noory, you walk into coast to coast AM later on tonight goes to the civil war looking forward to that. In a study published in the American journal of a PD Miala our condolences tonight to singer and actor Pat Boone on the death of his wife. Shirley, Shirley died several days ago, she was eighty four years old the nine hundred fifty star confirmed that his wife died to people magazine saying they shared a wonderful blessed life together for sixty five years, and he knew one day they'll be reunited with his beloved. President Donald Trump used at address Monday to the American Farm Bureau convention to dig in on his call for a border wall. Even as new polling indicates most Americans oppose his administration strategy of demanding money for the US Mexico barrier in exchange for ending the partial government shutdown I flew from Saint Louis to Denver to Duar beyond belief television programs in Wallin Denver coming back to Los Angeles yesterday. I was talking to some TSA employees. None of whom had received checks yet. But they're still coming into work doing what they do. Dr John Curtis online. Colonists dot com with us. John your predictions are coming true. This is a disaster. It is a disaster. And it's having about effective about a billion dollars a day to the US economy and Wall Street is essentially on hold, you know, even though that it get rise. It is true like a thousand twelve hundred points or so in the last week. I mean, there's a great reluctance on the part of anybody to really start buying into anything. Because no one really knows how long is this going to go on speculation today is it's going to go on until he deliver. At least until he delivers his state of the union speech, which is on the twenty ninth of January. But even after that, you're looking at, you know, you're looking at a recalcitrance on the part of both sides right now to the point where the ones that have been tossed under the bus here are really federal employees. And I think everybody would be served by letting these folks go back to work. They performing rather vital services. I don't think anybody wants to wait any longer in lines for TSA than they already. Do. Hey, I wanted to ask you a question with the Muller probe who's paying them? And are they getting a salary? Well, of course, I mean that's completely funded. "From the heartland of America and the gateway to the west good morning. Good evening wherever you may be across the nation around the world. I'm George Noory walk into coast to coast AM later on tonight. We're gonna talk about pre cognition looking forward to that. Here's what's happening. While the midterm elections are over the Democrats have retaken control of the house, the Republicans hold onto the Senate majority as the midterms leave the power split in Washington. That's right. Democrats reclaimed control of the house of representatives after eight long years out of power dealing a major setback, the President Trump's legislative agenda there, but Republicans were able to expand their narrow Senate majority. The split decision on Capitol Hill follows one of the most intense midterm campaign seasons in recent memory in which President Trump barnstorm the country for the GOP candidates and powerful Democrats, including predecessor, Barack Obama did the same for the other side. We have three distinct views for you coming up. I Dr John Curtis online columnist dot com. John your reaction to today. Well, Georgia this is something basically we. Predicted a couple of nights ago, but the main take away from this this election, and I think this is a very important one is that Donald Trump has effectively increase the votes in the Senate and he held off. I mean it's much as possible. The loss of the expected loss of the house. Now, remember in twenty ten Obama lost by huge majorities, the house and the Senate the fact that Trump has held on not only is held on. But he added seats in the Senate and more importantly even than that are the governor's races. You look at the governor's race that Oprah which barnstorming ob- Georgia. Between Brian Tampa Stacy Adams, and everyone was convinced that Adams was going to be you know, what's going to win that race. And she lost it by at least, you know, six six or seven percent. You look at the the race in in Ford at the governor's race between Rhonda Santos, and and Andrew gillum. I mean, Trump put his credibility on the line there and pulled that race out. And you of course, the one, you know, the governor's race in Georgia. You look at the Wisconsin race of Scott Walker barely eking out a win. But a big win in Wisconsin. And then there was Ted Cruz going up against a democratic real bright light. I mean, one of their their future potential presidential candidates in in better Rourke and Cruz pulled off a pretty substantial victory there. And then the big one, I think which which really tells you. The story of the bitterness about Cavanaugh here hearing which Claire mccaskill right here in Missouri. Where I am right now being bounced out by a newcomer Josh hallway in Missouri, which which by a huge margin. We're talking about six percentage points beating incumbent Claire mccaskill because she voted against Cavanaugh, and all this is really a reflection of the extent to which Trump has really barnstorm this country. I mean with the amount of campaigning reminiscent of what he did in two thousand sixteen against Hillary to in three campaign stops a for the last week. I think no one can come away from this thinking that, you know, Trump did not really perform well beyond any expectations in this election. Good point, John. Thank you, John John Curtis online columnist dot com. And of course, our next view and perspective. How? Lowered bloom author of the global brain Howard, your thoughts on today's midterms. Well, the voters of the US I have sent a very simple message tonight. And it's that Republicans and Democrats have to work together like adults they have to stop squabbling like children as a five minutes ago. Democrats had Russell twenty five house seats away from the Republicans and Fox News have declared the Democrats the winners in the house. Did that mean we had a Blue Wave not really the time the Republicans as John said, hey, captured three Senate seats from the Democrats prodding FOX to predict that Republicans would hold onto the Senate. Now, why would the voters have split their votes? Why would they have handed the House Democrats and the Senate Republicans Fox News reports an answer when it sums up the words of the arch. Demonize Nancy Pelosi congress on the US Pelosi said, according to FOX have had enough division. Today's election results are about restoring checks and balances, but this midterm. Has also an election of big questions to me, personally, George. It's an election about basic American values civility, honesty and truth. Not to mention freedom of speech hollering from the Washington Post claims during this midterm election campaign. Donald Trump is going from telling five today to thirty one of my Republican friends a big fan of Donald Trump says those lies are allowed because Donald Trump is the great disrupter. That's what he's here to do. I disagree truth is truth. But truth is not the only big issue at stake. Another is the future of the Republican party. There's been a war for the last eight years or so in the GOP, the tea party close to enemies turncoats and traders folks, who should be literally hung Turco number two is the Democratic Party the Turco number one is why was Republicans in name only. And this is just in the last twenty four hours. They've said this in other words, they are targeting mainsteam scream Republicans. Newt Gingrich back with party says it mainstream Republicans. Are in the pocket of old elites in both the tea party in new new despise. These centrist new the tea party and many of Donald Trump's followers want these villains. Flush out of the party. Now have Newt and the tea party triumphed in this election. Not exactly in Utah, Republican of civility and honesty. One ex presidential candidate Mitt Romney. And it is very likely the Romney and Trump will compete to define the future of the Republican party. Then there's the question of whether inaccurate and extremist rhetoric really belongs in American politics at point good point. And we shall see. Howard. Thank you so much for your perspective. And of course, talk show host and of successful entrepreneur Andrea Egli, Sean with his views on tonight, and he surprises here for you on jury. No, no surprises. George. I don't think there was surprises from you know, we anybody expected any surprises. We all knew that the Democrats would probably take the house and the Republicans would maintain control of the Senate and probably pick up a few seats as they did. And. So there's no surprises there. Now. Thanks for having me on. Now. Let me say this, George, I think the thing that we need to watch is what's going to happen in these markets man, we need to watch our money because that the these elections we'll have a tremendous impact on the market's first of all there's gonna be gridlock in Washington DC now. So that means that a lot of what President Trump is put in place what he's accomplished with the economy. It's going to stay intact. But the Democrats are gonna come in. And there's already signals that there are going to be a little bit more opposition and Trump will have to been a little bit on his trade issues, you know, industrial mineral stocks, I think they're going to perform very well going forward. But we do have a bipartisan pressure right now to rain and drug prices. So I think that what we're going to see now is the Democrats coming in. And they've taken over the house, and it it's it's a good thing. Really for president. The way it's gonna turn out you watch. It's a good thing for what is going to turn out to be because with the Democrats taking over the house is going to reduce policy frictions about you know, trade then stuff which I they're going to have to negotiate better. He's going to have to compromise with them on that Wall Street is salivating over it, you got it. Andre. Thanks. We'll talk to you soon. Audrey Egli, Sean. In a moment. Catherine Austin Fitts joins us. We'll be talking with her about this and getting her perspective as well. We'll take your calls next hour child suicides in Japan are the highest they been in more than thirty years. According to the country's education minister in the fiscal year of two thousand sixteen seventeen up to March two hundred and fifty children from elementary to high school age will recorded as having taken their own lives. The number is five times more than last year the highest it's been since nineteen Eighty-six concerns the children had reported, including family problems worrying about their futures and bullying same thing. That's going on here. Well that hot Cup of coffee you require each morning. Maybe doing more for your brain than giving a just a burst of energy. A new study finds that drinking coffee. Also shields us from the development of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Up in the moment as I mentioned, Catherine Austin fits with her perspective on the midterm elections. "No, nothing at all. They're perfectly. Normally, the only thing that's the tab normal about them is how few are Eckes. We've had in the last twenty years that that's been unusual. And and of course, now, we're you start to get one or two and they're big over hyped. Because of course, the whole climate issue is is in the forefront. And I'm surprised that somebody link linked to the intergovernmental panel on climate change report that came out and said, oh, no it's worse than than we expected. And it's good. It's going to get much hotter and storms like this are going to get worse. But I haven't heard anybody make that connection yet. But I'm sure it's coming. Okay. Thanks, tim. Tim ball climatologists in the latest shakeup for president Donald Trump's turbulent administration UN ambassador. Nikki Haley abruptly today announced that she's resigning at the end of the year raising fresh questions about the Trump team about the outspoken diplomats own political ambitions. The news kind of blindsided some key US allies in many congressional Republicans involved in foreign policy matters, and it came less than a month before congressional elections. Thwarting White House efforts to project an image of stability with the loss of one of the highest profile women in the administration at a time when women's votes are being vigorously pursued by the White House. Dr John Curtis online columnist dot com with us, John. This was kind of a shocker wasn't it. Well, I mean, it's a shocker in the sense that everybody thought that Haley was so entrenched. I mean, she was extremely high profile. You went embassador in part because she was a governor of a state Steve more of an executive function. So certainly extremely opinionated. And towed, the, you know, the Trump kind of foreign policy line to a t I mean, I think you know, it's not surprising to the extent that Healy may want to follow the path of perhaps the person that will replace her who is Dina Powell now Powell's resume reads like somebody one hundred years of age, George even know she's forty five she was with the administration now, she's with Goldman Sachs, the investment firm. Well, I mean, not only was she would visit ministration she was with the Bush administration. You know, she started up interning with k Bailey Hutchinson and went to Dick Armey. I mean this girl really knows how to move and shake, and I think if they can wind, and you know, she's an. Extremely close associated with the Trump. I think you can really diminish your discount the idea that that Ivanka Trump is going to take this position. She said she's not going. She's not at all. But I think if they can can cajole or twist Dina Powell's arm to take this. It would be far better than Mark Grenell. Who is the current ambassador to Germany? I this girl has got you know, she's got electric city about her. And I mean to wind up a managing partner at Goldman Sachs without a bachelor's degree in finance. She's I mean, how do you do with George? How do these people wind? I know it's crazy. But let me ask you this John because I know you've been a staunch supporter of this administration. Have you ever seen more upheaval in two years with members of the cabinet or his own staff? No, I think it's pretty safe to say the there's the turnover rate here is, you know. Unprecedented on the other hand, you know, you want people in there who are you know, better and brighter type folks, I think Haley was an outstanding UN ambassador, and I think she's just have enough of it. I think that you know, that's a really tough job especially today. And you're just butting heads all the time, sir. I think she wants to kind of move on to other things in pass the baton. There was some speculation that she might even run against Trump. But you know, this is just absolutely hog wash the likely scenario is that she'll probably be Trump's campaign manager in two thousand twenty. I mean, she completely backs, you know, the Trump White House, and we wouldn't mind seeing him four years. She runs in twenty four on her own could be all right. John. Thanks, Dr John Curtis rising use of antidepressants turning our waters folks in do a drug soup in harming a marine life. According to experts people, for example in Britain us, more antidepressants. Than almost every other country in the western world. But the drugs can cause havoc in the natural world after they pass out of the body the person taking them, the it's just a disaster. Gotta be careful Google, plus I don't use it, but Google plus will be no more. But it took more than that being the least impactful social media platform on the web to kill it. Google has announced that it will shut it down at social network after the Wall Street Journal reported that the company did not disclose the security vulnerability in the spring that exposed private data from hundreds of thousands of Google plus accounts. Let's check in with our expert on the internet, Lauren Weinstein. Who will of course, give his disclaimer before we get going. Go ahead Lauren that I did consult Google several years ago. So now what is Google plus Google? Plus is is Google social networking platform. It it is the equivalent of Facebook or Twitter. In the Google space said I've been using it since really if became available years ago. Is it going to be missed? Well, it's going to be missed by millions of people. The story is going on for ages. It's a ghost town. There's nobody out millions and millions of people use it very happy with it. I've been very happy with it. Really in a way, they were sort of a victim of their own success. Because when they when they started Google plus throughout its entire run, Google decided not to put any ads on it. So there was no ads. There was no way to buy sponsored posts. Right. These are both things that drives people crazy book. So there was no separate income stream coming from it. In the meantime, everybody got kinda snookered by Facebook into thinking. Well, you gotta have the ads you gotta have the sponsored post. You gotta have these things that are manipulating your your timelines and everything and they got a massive number of people onto their platform. Now, of course, a lot of people are kinda regretted gets given what's been going on. But sizes everything was social media scale is everything and Google just never really got that scale now this breach that occurred. Well, I'll say right at the top. They apparently found out about this some months ago, they should have publicly announced that at that time. Apparently, the reason they really didn't is they found it in a during a as I understand it during their own auditing their own security auditing, and they didn't have any evidence that it had ever been exploited. In other words, it was a theoretical vulnerability. But apparently, nobody knew about it outside of Google and the kinds of information that were that were theoretically vulnerable. We're like name and Email address no credit card numbers. No, financial information. Nothing like that a lot of that stuff that people have with Facebook. So they said, well, why stir things up when there's so much going on right now. I mean, that's my interpretation and they kinda sat on it. And right, and now, of course, it kind of makes a convenience, I won't say excuse, but it convenient kind of rationale for setting into motion the sun setting of Google plus over a period of about ten months, but they they should have discussed it publicly in the first place. And it would have been a lot better all round if they had in the meantime, all of us who've been using Google, plus all these years are trying to find other places to go. We're experimenting with other things. And I mentioned that they're the go Go's commercial version of Google, plus which operates further G, suite the the business systems where you pay about five bucks a month per per head. That's going to continue so Google puzzle be continuing commercially. And and but we'll just have to see what happens competing with Facebook. Probably in Facebook's turf was probably not a good idea in the first place. That's a time at your right? I it seemed at the time. Well, it seemed like a logical thing to do, you know, you don't wanna miss out. But as we've seen the way Facebook did it to to have that enormous growth has now trip them up and a lot of serious ways to so there's positives and negatives to all these one quick question. I hear Snapchat is going broke. What are you here? Apparently Snapchat, having all kinds of all kinds of problems. I guess their stock has been walloped. Yeah. That totally very well. Their founder has been sending out there. You know, kind of messages to the troops to kind of try to cheer them up. I it appears it's a pretty serious mistakes were made along the way when they when they tried to grow. That's that can happen when you're trying to grow rapidly. Oh, you get off the ball. And you and you can really fall flat later on whether or not snapshot step chat. We'll be able to pull out of this. I I don't know. But right now that they're not they're certainly not the the star of the moment like they were sometime ago point. Thanks, lauren. Appreciate it up next. An end upside down thinking Marc Gaubert joins us as we talk about consciousness right here on coast to coast AM kickoff this holiday season with.

That was an and I think that if they investigate a little further into this, George, I I think they're gonna find the fish was it clearly a democrat and dragging this woman who is clearly delusional about Cavanaugh, you know, sexually assaulting her. What's absolutely unthinkable, cruel behavior on the part of the Democrats on that committee, especially Dianne Feinstein if you've ever worked for her to out here. But I think tomorrow, I think the boomerang back is going to be very strong on this midterm election. It's really energize the Republican base. Democrats doctor we're gonna have this Blue Wave. There's no way they're taking over the Senate right now. And there's there is there is a shot that Republicans can hang onto the house. No, you're right about that. And it also gave President Trump a boost because he was in the mid forties with approval rating. He's up to fifty one percent now. I mean, and and that is because the American people are smart enough for no. Went up fraud is being perpetrated and Susan Collins just laid it all out there today, and she's a very moderate reasonable person. Who just said once they started talking about gang, rapes, and all this kind of stuff that she knew at that point. This was absolutely fraud on the part of the Democratic Party. And I think it's going to really hurt them the midterms. Well, the votes tomorrow, John you're going to be our news guests along with Howard bloom. Sunday for a little analysis on what happened on Saturday. Okay. Absolutely, see Dr John Curtis online, columnists dot com. Job creation for September fell to its lowest level in a year, though. The unemployment rate also dropped to a point not seen in nearly fifty years not bad earthquakes a series of earthquakes have rocketed the globe today with ten already recorded as Japan recovers from a magnitude five point four in the latest of natural disasters hitting that country. What else is going on with these earthquakes? Let's check in with Cal ori- author of the man who predicts earthquakes about our friend the late. Jim Brooklyn Cal give us your predictions for the rest of this year. What do you think? Well, the Indonesia quake, you didn't mention that. My God there is we didn't when it happened. Oh missed me. Missed me. Yeah. They're saying that the warning was too late. They lifted a thirty four minutes after it happened. And then that's not good not. So they're they're looking at that again and trying to perfect it. Oh, that's not good. But again, it's in the ring of fire, you mentioned, Japan and new know, California, the whole west coast, Lena fire, right? Well, this morning I woke up, and I read the shake mail before the editors Email which shocked me, and it was a four point one twelve miles from San Juan Bautista which is right on San Andreas fault where it could have a significant quake. But they downgraded it to a three point eight still it was widely felt in the bay area northern California more than what probably five hundred people that reported it. So I'm going to say California, a significant quake, we'll come on. It's a shaky state, but still who nobody wants a big quake now, but we need the tension released. Like you say, let's just say a five to a six the bay area, southern California, greater Los Angeles or offshore northern California before interfere at least five to six maybe stronger. But if we get that, maybe won't have a, you know, a great. Quake eight point zero. Thanks, Cal CAL's website. Of course. Cal Oreo R E Y dot com. How about this Iraq that was used as a doorstop for decades at a Michigan farm has been identified as a meteorite valued at about one hundred thousand dollars. How about that? Up next one of our favorite guests joins us. The media Marianne wouldn't Cousy next coast to coast AM..
