We have the temporary rebate that have been announced who knows if it'll get pushed back. And then here's brosnan has joined the cast as dr feet and So the movie as will like say explain to me and remind me. Every day is getting made despite my belief. That's not valley happening. I think for me. When i saw i saw excited about the pierce brosnan being cast as dr fate Amid basically he's a jsa character And it and he's sort of like the against the the these the doctor strange of the dc universe ban special wizard supreme character so He of course he had a pretty pivotal role in the crisis. Linares comic book in the silver age as well. So i'm pretty excited about that Especially given a blackout of his kind of was like is will be more of an anti hero in story. Anyway said this. I'm getting excited about this. Bill it since it actually may be getting made now. A movie that we do know has been main and they are coming out with the trailers granted. We have been full in the past. Well i don't think you and i were because we never actually saw the original suicide squad has dropped their second trailer and we should just renamed it now to John cena idris elba Comedy hour. I mean they. They are the buddy cop. Dc fleet notes on the prep. The it's not like their original one where they just went all in on harley quinn and i mean she does appear in this of course but at the same time of the the i was not expecting the comedic. Chemistry between idris and john cena expected that either. A really wasn't in a yeah. It'd be whatever they were. You know they were on the bus. And you're like you know you've got a toll on your head and cena's like if you're walking through the jungle in and the whole decline as far as like if you know if serving my country all these dixon artists like alice. What when. I first saw the trailer alice rolling on the floor. And of course it got glimpse polka-dot man and whenever we saw the trailer during dc fandome we. That was one person that would definitely like really latched. You early on so And of course king shark You know if you haven't watched the harley quinn show on that was on dc universe and announcement max but check it out some time. Because you'll you'll get a you'll you'll appreciate king shark more. Think when you watch film especially given that they're kind of playing on the same kind of themes that seems that the character was like enda in that cartoon you know..

"Mohr Anthony Lima, CBS Sports radio Before we get into Dan Snyder and I've got some reaction on deck Prescott. I just realized how silly it sounds in my head when I just if I just lay it out and say, Hey, some Gorgeous woman. I'm 39 single, You know, dating scene, Cleveland, Whatever. But in my head I just realized this girl is way out of my league. She's unbelievable. And she just used social distancing as an excuse. To not go to dinner with me. I realize how that sounds if I just laid out like that it sounds like I'm wasting my time completely, which I might be. But She sometimes texts me out the blue. She did facetime me while I was on my trip. So that was good that that was something that was positive, right? But I probably feel like I'm wasting my time. So I asked you guys to help me and tell me what to do. And now we've got lined up. So let me go Toe Alley in Ohio. Your next stop on CBS Sports radio. Go ahead. How are you doing? What's going on? Um, So I just wanted to say I mean, if the social distancing is an issue that you could always offer her that come over and make her dinner and really wow hurt right now what She likes that maybe that would get her on the hook. Yeah, The problem is, I don't know if we're it come over to my house stage yet. I mean that that's very personal for my people. Yeah, That's true, but I mean, it's it's about the only all parent of it. She doesn't want to go out to a restaurant. Yet I feel like I've seen her post. Pictures of her at restaurants. This is not going well. Thank you, Allie. Thanks. Thank you very much. Guillermo is in Virginia. Can you help me in this situation? Sama. Welcome to the show. Hey, Can you hear me? Yes, I can. Hey, Thanks for having me. I just want to say, man, I pursued my wife of now 10 years. For a whole year before she would go out with me. I mean, it went to the point where I was walking by her dorm, and this was in college just to see if her lights were on and I would get all my buddies to come with me and you know I were out. It was a whole year of pursuing her. And you know what? That's what girls want, man like Guillermo, are we are we allowed to be that level because I gotta be honest. That does sound creepy and I'm not going out beyond it. Are you allowed to be that persistent in 2020? I don't know if you are girls want to be pursued. Trust me, They want to be pursued. They want to be a one struck Dr Feet and 05 hitch came out. And the thing that got me was, I watched that movie twice in the movie theaters. The thing that got me was That line. Where says any woman can be swept off her feet? The guy just needs the right broom. I butchered that line, but that's how something how go and I took notes. Man in No. Six. A year later, I found the 1 July 20 seconds 22,007 she went out with Mushi became official girlfriend, and now we're celebrating 10 years of marriage this year, man. You fended the professor Charleena's want to hear about. He doesn't want to hear about edge now anyway for both. How do you feel about first class? I liked first class. I mean I D- I thought I thought it was a coherent story. It seemed like it seemed like the first movie where they kind of had somewhat of a plan going in because they had to at that point they were really trying to move the franchise that days passes where they really kind of lost because they tried to have their cake and eat it too with the old. The old accident in these going forward. We're going GONNA do a different every now but the very first X. men seem like it was just like. Oh we need to make an X. men movie WHO's popular. Oh you know who who people that's there but it's like it's just like you know everyone's heard of Wolverine Storm cyclops. Jean Grey. And they're you know let's we'll Jean Grey now and they want to Dr Feet and raising zesty. Get One dark. Also WanNa have that. Love Triangle between wolverines gotten djing breath in that weird. They roll though I was like well. I guess she's jubilee. Now that's from. You know the problem with rogue was. They didn't have they couldn't put they couldn't do it after Marvel Story. Exactly you know. So you had rogue who is a central ex-man the can to include but had no way to get her powers which is kind of sags you think about it. You probably could have figured out a way to give her powers. If nothing else you could create a new mutant character with Captain Marvel powers for her to seal power from or you know. There's there's ways you could work this way or maker story that you know you know if I I. I don't know what but you or have her exposed to the Newton tation ray and that's what gives her the powers you know doesn't turn her into a jellyfish. That's good by the way I got cut off my last line with guarding channing. Tatum being Cingo when a handsome man and single low single actor. Trust me or no actor but I'm not worried about all that I'm saying that we're going to be a three hour thing and I'm out of these. Hey guys got feedback when here at Raith thinks of some X. men racing Captain Kangaroo Ray. Would you like to hear what Ray had to say? Federal this is right. What did you say about it? Now things x-men exciting way to watch dot much talk about the X. Men I think is that Road I ride the wife of the X. men boom in the nineties hanging ten on that wave I was loving it was. It was a brilliant time on jumped on that bandwagon. I love the X. men and to this day. I still like the to me. The the the the classic men Wolverine cyclops Storm Saw Lock X. Men Blue X. men gold with an actress started. That was called the Jim Lee expert. The euro really really loved it and I just wanted to the auto announce I guess some favorite x men. Of course always will. I love will be nick. Hey such a is a simple character but as I think he's more catered towards you when you are younger. I think he kind of gravitated towards the the young to maintain. He's pretty cool there but I still love him. Nothing Good Assa Wolverine. The AM and look the cost colossal colossus and the Russian guy just aesthetically looks really cool I think he's right and the the new saw walk now when she was converted by the hand though she she was turns her Asian. Yeah quite assault to be when you're young teenager especially drawn by Jim. Les And I hit puberty also probably not that popular. But I think he's one of my ears ranked up there as one of my favorite forge owes lately love. You're the one in Kennedy mystical elements as well tapping into the native American carnival. It's magic but the fact that he can invent anything that imagines is pretty good. I loved the the new Orlands Saga I think it is. That's a one way. Hey An frame force were were up against the Ravens. That was pretty cool with them. Wade mistaken destiny nurse. Well so with the X men. They really cool Beat AS WELL MONTE. Glove of x factor. So I think still knows is definitely Demi Madrick's multiple man as kind of been in and out of the X. Men. But he's he's one of my talking top ten to one end and a big strong Guy Lot Colossus. I like my muscle in lock. Make a big strong guy. I love the premises Guido Caracella. And down and he's Connecticut energy converting that into strength and how we got formed in that as well as NAS little touch so whoever created him props to you I believe. His first appearance was somewhere in uncanny x men as I got to allow the Chinese intergalactic Rockstar. But I don't know pen that anyway. Those are on the X. Men. I don't like them as much now. I guess they're all quotes because I guess the X. Men School has expanded somewhat. But I did enjoy the Tom. Tyler on men rid though. That was good. Read Gold And the original thought five full Cyclops marvel girl iceman based five eleven. Prequel our big on Archangel as well as technically and deadly as as all hell could talk on and on about the X. men I loved him in the comics. the animated series. I admittedly didn't watch too much of our very heavily. Invested in the comex understand it was a big boon for X. men Follow his anyway. This should be a fun episode and county. Were you guys? What about the x? Men other ones just before struggled huge black on black Tom Cassidy on pairings. And as well as a callisto. I like. Callisto down there with the morlocks. "I mean she's got a lot going on and she was focused on the task at hand and probably really not being all that much attention to what Graham was saying and it is like a doctor Hallo under the impression that she was listening and she had heard everything he said. She just had absolutely no idea how to respond. What was the proper way to respond? Which situation when somebody comes to you with a heavy subject whether it's financial issues are health issues or family issues in this case Graham. Coming to the doctor saying that you know he's he's really concerned that the cancer could come back one of these days in some people whether you're human or not the those are very complicated and mixed emotions that usually come with heavy subjects like that not everybody is well equipped to handle that and know what to do especially if it seemingly coming out of nowhere. You don't have time to necessarily prepare yourself for true and unsure to. She probably didn't want to respond because she probably didn't want what was properly. Come on her mouth be taken the wrong way. Yes just because of how that relationship with them is because I could see if she said something. That could have been taken the wrong way. Graham would have bed and I think see Wanda on who needs you. Yeah Yeah 'cause the doctor has been known to say the wrong thing or say something very inappropriate. I mean Clara had to make the Twelfth Doctor. Note cards yes so these people somebody newport or like you know. It's like half of the doctor not saying anything you know Yeah so unlike the the doctor to react the way she did like actually I think that's exactly how she would react so that she doesn't do what her previous incarnations of duns Dr Foot Mouth. She doesn't have cars note cards anymore so. I mean she was honest about it though. That was the thing though. It's like she didn't know what to say. And that's what she told grandma she's like. I honestly do not know what the correct thing is to say to you and I think if I were a grim shoes I would appreciate that. It's like okay. You heard me. You're still processing that say okay. As long as I know that you know I had said what I said. Yeah she she listened. You just do not know how to respond as veteran making the false promises all saying something that could sound like Condescending maybe yeah it on a genuine. Yeah exactly you could say insincere. Yeah yeah so again. Little controversy with Dr Episode. But I think it's overblown in my humble opinion that but then again like I I've Kinda stalked looking at explains a few people I stopped like seeing what other people thought of episodes. Because it gets like this I was gonna say I haven't heard anyone the upset about it. Not Saying that. There isn't but if there's controversy I don't know I haven't seen it. Yeah you don't go looking for to see what people are saying like I do. I'm going for punishment. Apparently maybe you said it not me. It's.

"Five zero three seven three three. That's our number. It's our final segment. But there's still time to get you in and on the air in studio with Chris. It's in and Vincent and we have been talking drugs. We're GONNA go right from drugs. Listed driving right absolutely solid fun Combo kids. Don't try this at home. This story sorry comes through us from Jellab. Nick shot a private track. I mean if you're on your own track you can do whatever you want with your car be my guests. Yeah but this this article says It's it's entitled. Let's debunk three myths about seemingly illegal things you can do well driving so I don't know about you guys but I have always heard that there are certain things that are illegal because there must be a law against Fatso. It must be illegal like the first one they list. You know. You can't get in a car without shoes you can't drive live. I have Dr Foot. I've done it I I always liked. Light feels well. Do you think there's a log against. Oh Yes yes sir is. I think there is Delia. Is there have you ever driven barefoot. I won't lie to you. I've done it. This is the author speaking and I'm not ashamed to say okay. I kinda liked it. The ridged rubber of the pedals feels kind of sadness. Fine and I think you can get much more precise throttle control with with your non shoe. I think he's right encumbered foot. Almost every time driving barefoot comes up though some pedantic prude is likely to mention that driving while barefoot is illegal. You know what though. It's not a really well. That's wonderful sky. Did the research no state actually has any laws making barefoot driving illegal. So don't take any Guthrie from people trying to tell you it's against the law. I your feet are not criminals. They're just the hands of your legs and if they want. Serve you foot glove. `less you can legally let them so. According to this gentleman he's done the research. There is no law law on the books in the United States against driving barefoot. Yeah might be a little stinky but otherwise it's a relatively fun. have out this one. You drive. Prefer it on especially on long-term drives lives. You know because it's just it's more comfortable. I hate having my feet up during the summertime. I'm always in sandals I don't like having my feet enclosed. It's one of the worst things about being here during the wintertime constantly. Have to have my feet enclosed and you know if I got the opportunity. I'M GONNA I'm I'm GonNa shut them off and and you've just more connected to the vehicle that I feel like that's what this guy says how. `Bout your driving at night. You know you've got somebody else in the car and you you flip on the interior light because you wanna find something in there. I turn it on. Turn that light off. They're going to pull you over get pulled over because you can't have your interior. The your light offered this one. This is another one of those things that I've been told is illegal since I started driving though admittedly as far as crimes go. It's a lot closer to loitering than say murder But it's but is it actually illegal to drive with your interior dome light on jar before he gets into the the answer answer here. The the argument is going to be the reason it should be illegal. I'm not saying I agree with this. But the argument is is that if it's nighttime and you turn a light on and it will restrict your ability to see in the dark so you know just like you know tonight fish back when you had friends and they had a flashlight they flash in your face or whatever ever in. You couldn't see anything after that because it restricts your night vision and that's the reason why if it is illegal. That's likely the rationale behind it. Sure we're having the interior light on inside. The car can impair your vision out of the car or at night but there are actually no laws. On the books that say it's illegal it may be possible to be pulled over for something like distracted driving and illuminating the interior. Light may be cited his part of the reason why but as far as the interior light itself being on that is not illegal unto itself. All right good to know about this one Well this this says that the government has come up with a law that says rear windows can legally only roll down down partway back..

"Thing that has to be paid attention to sow fear of flying is kind of a mixed bag of fears now in your practice, one of the most popular fears of more emotional problems that you have to cope with not with the patients cope with that. I have to cope with that with you. I mean, you're the patients has most frequent fierce. Yes. They fall into basically, two classifications fears can exist from the time you can remember or they can come on at certain times of life. So fierce fallen two classifications, for example, fear of flying fear of public speaking usually occur between the ages of twenty five thirty five and forty when you shift from young adulthood to middle. Adulthood, responsibilities change and the techniques that you use to to deal with anxiety in the earlier time don't work anymore. So as a result of fear starts coming in the person stonewalls and pushes the more. They push the more fearful, they get the more. They have to hide it that it builds and builds until they avoid the situation. So this is the most frequent kind of fear. It's kind of like a performance anxiety that occurs where more responsibilities come on a person. And then they start doubting themselves with this class of people. The these people are usually very bright highly imaginative, and they're constantly criticizing themselves quietly inside their head every moment of the day, and they tend to become very black and white in their thinking, very perfectionist and they're brutal with themselves. They're nice people. But self-critically they get the prize the Oscar of self-criticism sodas, most of your patients, and you're you're twenty five Huntington avenue. I believe in Boston. That's your office Dr Albert for Johnny twenty-five Lincoln avenue, and that's whereas offices. They also you teach at tough Sawyer. Yes. I've I've been connected with the dental school now since seventy two I went there to teach dentists hypnosis and in dealing with fear of dentistry, which is a very common, vir. Maybe thirty percent of the population about ten percent of the population nine or ten percent are so fearful that they will never go to the dentist until they are in excruciating pain. I've had patients that have extracted there on T throughout the dentist. It's amazing as maverick. I was identified last week. And. Dr cases, he said, well, what about Dr foot Joanie? I said what is he coming here? You know? And he knew that that I I knew you. But he forgot about it. And you have to mention the what what the the person's name. But what what was what were you caught? Why would you call for that patient? Well, a number of reasons that patient I came to me because she was so sensitive to high pitch sounds. It would cause incredible fear in her and it affected or in two ways. She could go to the dentist because of the dental drill because the fear, but also where she was working was near a dental lab, and she could hear the drills of the dental lab across the hall, and she was in constant anxiety stuffing, arrears doing everything to avoid. So I treated her to get rid of the sensitivity, the high pitched noise and during that time, she developed headaches, and I had founded the the headache clinic over tusk dental school. So she became a patient there. So with both. Fear of dentistry and the dental pain. I was consulting with Dr cases on this. Did you help this woman in the chair? Oh, yes. Oh, yes. She's she's done. Very well. See she had a condition called TM. Jay, we're her joint. It was under stress in the muscles of the face go into spasm, and what happens here in some cases, the arms go numb because of the spasm in the chest in the neck. It puts pressure on the nerves and blood vessels that lead to the arm. So the arms go numb and the facial pain gets excruciating and people become debilitated. They can't go to work. And so she was she was having difficulty working because of the arms and the headache and so forth and so on but she's well well controlled and doing well now. I feel happy feel happy. Well, it's it's very gratifying to be able to do things to help people, and you know, in my practice being both a psychologist, and a psycho physiologist, I played detective a lot and solve problems that a lot of times, you know, people run into a brick walls within in traditional medical treatment in traditional psychological treatment. So I have a variety of backgrounds, and I try to bring them all together to try to tell patients, and it's very gratifying to have these patients succeed. All right. We have a couple of messages here. "Why is that because they have different climate. It's true. That scotch whisky can only be made in Scotland people try it. I mean, you can make something approximating it. But it is for some extraordinary reason. I mean, it's almost mystical it's to do with the water in the quality of the earth, and those things nobody can quite tell you and certainly to do with the climate. But they've never been able to duplicate it successfully why does Scots consume more sugar than other people for capita? I really don't know. They just they have a sweet tooth. What can I tell you? And I'll have to ask Dr foot Joni the question. Why Scott's us more contraceptives people? Though, he can't he. Maybe on the next hour. Dr for Joe. Now as a screenwriter, how did you become a screenwriter and what plays have you done? What movies have you written for? Oh my God. I can remember those things remember something wanted to limit one or two I started at college. I just started writing stuff, and and and one day I decided to write a screenplay with a partner and we sat down, and we wrote it, and and somebody was fool enough to buy it. And the moment somebody's paid you money for something. It looks like an awfully good idea is a job. I expect you found that yourself. That's true. Now. How much time do you spend writing and how much time do you spend preparing scotch whisky? Okay. I spend about one hundred percent of my time on each. Good show. Where do you live? Most of the time has Scotland or in in the states, I live on an aeroplane alone. But I spent I spent most of my time in in Britain either in Scotland or in London, and I work in California to a certain extent. I have a home there. Los Angeles in Los Angeles. And. The thing about writing move is is you don't really have to be present. While they're filming them. Your main job is is is in the in the writing of them. Are you can do that any way you like one of the reasons I wanted to be a writer? It was when I was a kid. I kept seeing advertisements for writing schools. And it always showed you the writer sitting with his typewriter under a palm tree on a beach in the Seychelles or in Barbados. And I thought this was the life for me. I've never sat under a palm tree with my typewriter yet. But I visualize a writer doing that too. Usually in a on a beach, and a nice, a nice, home or overlooking? The overlooking the ocean, I I liked that typewriter. Cigarettes a cigarette. Smoke coming up and overlooking the ocean. Copy that. Oh, my problem. Now is that I will going to word processor, and you can't cut it around with. You know, how does that work because I have no knowledge of screen writing the someone buys a story. And then you have to adapt it for the movies at it that how that works. I think in my case. Yes, I used to mainly one was commissioned by studio or or an independent producer to adapt. The novel probably as a screen play. And what you do then as you read the novel, very carefully, and you absorb it. And you try and understand all the all the good qualities of it. And then you tend to kind of cost it aside and just try and write your own thing based on on what you've absorbed, but from time to time, I try and do original stories. I've just done an interesting film. It's just we just finished shooting on Friday in the movie will be prepared. We'll be ready in the next three or four months based on a book called castaway. I don't know if you came across that book, it was about a girl who answered advertisements go and live on a desert island with a with a man for a year. No, oh, it's really. I mean, what we did was you know, I read the book several times, and it's an interesting story. But essentially, I got the feeling that the goal wasn't telling the truth is it really happened. And so is the director, and I decided we would we would as it were inventory own truce. I'm what we tried to write was a story about about a relationship. Is it would take most couples thirty years to experience focused into the eleven months? So they spent on the desert island, would you like to spend eleven eleven months on an island with his one woman. I just spent nine weeks filming about one woman does believe me. I wouldn't know no. Mccallan whisky, though might be more. Cheerful. And that this girl as soon as I get married to be allowed to go to the island. The Australian government said we can't have any hanky-panky on one of our islands. I swear this is true. And so they had to get married they'd been sleeping together since they met. So that was okay. And the day they got to the island and the girl said you disgust me. And I can't do this any longer with is that is that. That's the truth. How about that for the beginning of the year on the desert island? Incidentally, there's a lot of misunderstanding about spirits and under alcohol level. I mean, people say I'll just have a glass of wine. But in fact, a bond measure of of of whiskey or gin is no more alcoholic Limbaugh measure of wine, and people seem to think that you know, wine is less alcoholic. I thought that too. Well, but it is it is an absolute quantities. But just a glass of wine is the same as a measure of scotch or a measure of gin and the and incidentally, slightly higher in calories. And and scotch is a sipping drink as I said in a mainly. You dilute it with soda water or ginger ale or whatever. Or if you don't you just sip it, very lightly because of exactly what you said when you were a child at burns if you done you like to savor the full flavor of it. So it's not a it's not a it's not a it's not any worse a drink than any other drink, and I think it's terribly important kids think that they. Can drink beer and go out and drive a car. Well, you can't drink anything very heavily and go out and drive a car. What about your drinking habits? Alan how must do consume a day normally on the average, I suppose I drink less than other people simply because I have so much easy access to it. I mean, I may be drink a scotch in the evening, usually after dinner, I drink a single malt whisky, and I guess maybe two glasses of wine in the course of the dinner. That's about it. There's a wonderful story told about Mr. Hagan, Mr. Dur if I'm allowed to mention to brash. Many years ago, they would desperate rivals, and they decided that they had to meet and they had lunch and Edinburgh to try and sort out this rivalry and the waiter came and Mr. Haig said he'd have the doors on Mr. deuce. This is frightfully kind of you, Mr. egg. Is it not at all? I never drink whisky before a meal. Little Scottish, you're. We have one more message. And then we'll be back. We'll take a couple of calls. We have some anyone who likes to speak to us about about screenplays about about the Scots the history of Scotland because Allen knows all of these about whisky if people want to. Learn how to make their own. We can't have that. But if there are any questions our numbers, two five four five six seven eight two five four five six seven eight Allen is here, and he can answer anything about the distillery business. Is that right? I can't. I of fact, I couldn't explain how to make it because you have to be in the north of Hadrian's wall in order to do it Hadrian's wall. I like that the Romans locked them. And they said keep the Scots in the see we take calls any. Let's say a couple of calls would you like to take a call to be policed? Okay. I would be pleased to two numbers two five four five six seven eight. Hello. Hello. Hello. Larry. How are you? What's your first name? My name's Gwen Glenn from where I'm from Milford. Larry. Okay. Nice w whether it's Glenn I'm a first time caller time calling. I. For a long time to make you feel welcome and wanted here. Thank you very much. Yes. I guess Allen. Shia. "When the rains came where I'm going to be talking about Super Bowl tennis shoes. Elon Musk last night to announce their new smaller SUV that they're gonna launch and a couple of years. Wow, Judy road and her friends tesla the other day said oh my God. I wish they had an SUV. Honey, I spoke to Alon my friend de LAN anything for you my Queen. My my Princess Tesla's are cool. But along gave his speech last night announcing the new car, and he was wearing a pair of Nike Air Jordan ones, customized with the tesla t on the to- Ogier is that the hot thing right now for all your super cool. Young ish CEO types be wearing tennis shoes because I'm just kind of a casual guy. Okay. So it's like over the top he's gone now. It's into like your grandpas doing it. Oh boy. And so. It's one of those things. So he's got his finger on the very pulse of tech Jeffrey Fowler, Washington Post technology columnist and joins us now. Jeffrey, how are you, sir? I am good. And I am also wearing super cool Nike shoes. Madison too late. Out there. So how long will it be before? Like business guys are wearing dress pants and hard shoes to separate themselves as the cool young up and comer stylish that'll happen in my lifetime. Every time give it to you. But I was all excited when Nike announced they had these self lacing shoes. These new high-tech shoes, they're only like three hundred and fifty dollars a bargain. Nope. Wearing out my fingers and bending bending over tell me about the Nike told me about the Nike self lacing show. Well, so everybody remembers back to the future to that's the movie where Martin arrives in the future, and he puts on a pair of Nike shoes, and they sell fleece, and for anybody of a particular age, or who was maybe, you know, ten years old. Nineteen nine remain. But coalition years of all time so Nike's been working on making those into real shoes. They did it. I a couple of years ago with an even more expensive pair. But this year, they said, we stickered it out. We got a pair. It's only three hundred fifty dollars. And not only do the do. They lace by themselves. Many bought a parent at strangled a puppy. That's what happened, isn't it? Not exactly, but it wasn't that much better. What did happen? So the other thing they did with the shoes. In addition to self leasing they made them connect to the internet. Oh, yes. The internet of things major shoes need to somehow be connected to the internet. Yes. You are not allowed to make any kind of product to these days unless it's somehow connects to the the Russians are going to hack into my shoes. What does the internet possibly do for my shoe? Well, I'm glad you asked. So there's an app that connects to the issues and it lets you customize them you could change the colors of the lights. You can go in and tune in specific sits that you want. And do they say you can apply Soper updates that? Will they say unlock things in the future? They hit a whole bunch more sensors and doodads in there that might and the future. I don't know give you data about how you're performing or poorly. Hot your seat. Dr. Feet over do you ready to go? No, no. I got a reboot my shoes. I. Turns out that that actually is what happened. So when people got these shoes a couple of weeks ago out of the box they pull up their phone or Android phone. What's an app an app says up you need to update your software. So they did. And then it's started turning the shoes into bricks meaning Burgess useless. The issues were no longer useful, even as shoot. And that's when the puppy wandered by. Well, first of all the people who bought these shoes got what they deserved bad things happen to those people. Shoes Android socks, and I just can't make them work together. Now for Nike, though, this is this is actually high stakes stuff because this is not his first attempt to make connected product. Right. You may remember back in the ipod days. They had shoes with a special little inserting them. That would connect give your ipod data about your exercising, and they had those fuel band. So they were sort of fitness trackers that came out, but they ended up killing all those products. Like, they couldn't really make a make a go of it. So they were when they came out with these shoes, they were saying, the Nike adapt BB is what they called is the platform for the future for Nike that it was all about how you know. All these shoes to come. We're going to be connected, and we're gonna have all the state, and it was gonna be the way that they were essentially you're not gonna stay in the lives of their customers through this apple relationship. So this was supposed to be more than a trick. Are we really need Jeff Fowler? Jeffrey arm around us as our Tudor because I in reading your piece now breaking is. When something is updated and won't work. Okay. So that's the term we've learned and I absolutely this paragraph is hilarious in your piece about these experiences. Like, you talked about Tesla's that won't drive after an update or necessarily stance that are freezing owners, these experiences have a name and even hilarious Twitter feed it rhymes with spit. The internet of spit. Yes. Beautiful checked out that Twitter feed. I highly recommend it. God dang. I got my kids. Electric drum set for Christmas. And my I thought this is so awesome. Because you don't want to get your kids drum set. Nobody wants to do that. But the electronic ones were headphones. You don't even hear it. I thought this is great. I thought my my only problem is if it stops working, well, they had this complicated computer pad that needed an updated software, and we updated the software now doesn't were. Oh, no. You know, what an old drum with sticks would always worked for the rest of time. That was perfect for fifteen years. But just just the idea of the update stuff, and it doesn't work anymore. So flippin maddening, it is the internet of SI with. I wish I could say the word, it's a brick. Yeah. You know, I think there's there's a big lesson for us about the future of all kinds of products. And that is as soon as stuff connects to the internet, you don't really own it anymore. Right, right. You can't really control what happens to it. Because you essentially said okay company, I'm going to allow you to continue to have your fingers in this product to change it to update it Stephen cut off service to it. A good example of that is the blood. There's a lot of printers out there that you can buy that cheap sort of instead of ink. Sure, some of them pushed out a software update that made us you couldn't even use the cheap Inc anymore. Don't really allow to us anymore. It's really these companies excuse to sort of stay in our lives kind of going forward. How much connected stuff do you? Jeffrey Fowler have in in your pad. Go for for for a lot of different reasons. But my job for the post is I try to stuff, right? So my poor family put up with me bringing this stuff into the house all the time when I've had some it had my own internet of s helmets with some of this stuff. Like, I had some some connected fire alarms that for one reason went rogue one nine. I couldn't shut him up. I had to get a ladder like take it down. And. It with a hammer literally buried inside the pillow for a while. I've done that the internet of s that's awesome. You know, Jeffrey, we absolutely love talking to you. I hope we can impose on you for another visit before too long. Thanks very much for the time. You bet. Yeah. We'll have a link, of course, you can read Jeffrey Fowler's fabulous piece at the wapo at Armstrong and.

"We've got a lot now now stepped over producer extraordinaire, you got Danny as well across the other side controls bogus with your updates at three hours nine AM. We go to tash. What's? I feel bad about Mike. Mike. My cousins deserve us to spend a lot of time on it. We kind of made fun of him yesterday on. Yeah. About this guy that I kind of alluded to the fact he was faking the injury dragon his leg around like Quasimodo. Why take a day off? About one o'clock in the afternoon yesterday said I she got Monday. Yeah. He Texas both Dr foot is blown up instead of right? Yeah. So get well, Mike. Maybe we'll see you soon. Okay. We see on Monday. Hopefully, every the body producing the show we asked for a little update after he went to the doctor. No update just disappeared. There's no. Mike, let us know how the doctor. Was at Email later on the night. Letting us know who's gonna be on the show today, which includes Jason lockenfora is gonna join us a little later on the progress, and we're going to also chat with Billy king. So we'll have your NFL covered with two prominent guests coming up your way in the third and final hour. But no update from the doctor so hopefully fingers crossed. Hopefully, he's got the proper medication. So a lot of water staying away from shellfish and red beat and poke and beer and alcohol, and hopefully is going to be a okay by Monday. Great segue. Guess what you just said? He go, right. It's not your first time. Very impressive. We've got to go with a lot of fell here on this on this Friday morning as we are one day away for the weekend. Make sure this weekend you spring the clocks ahead. Oh, I forgot. Tonight spring. Yeah. That's a great like it. It was twelve degrees. When I got up this morning. We lose an hour. That's exactly right Saturday night. We lose an hour sleeps in forget to move your clocks ahead this weekend. But we gotta go with the NFL couple interesting storylines number one up with your Buffalo Bills. You know, some conflicting reports about how close a deal is Al closer delays between the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers for material wide receiver Antonio Brown. Some said it was a was Ian Rapoport record reported that the deal was basically in the final stages close to getting done. And then there were other reports that said, no, that's not the case. I totally Brown tweeted out I or on Instagram fake news. So I I don't know how close we all we have the Steelers set a Friday deadline today in order to get a deal done. But TASR we've talked a lot about Antonio Brown is very close to being a buffalo. Bill reportedly. Maybe I do. Crazy. I get your wide receiver gotta root for. Don't get your Antonio Brown jersey. No, no, no. No, no. You're right because this happened overnight. So a lot of folks listen to us right now live, of course, CBS sports radio or maybe on siriusxm channel six or wherever I'm radio dot com. Just hearing this for the first time here, and you say that that this is what the news that broke. But it's like you said it's not definite. There's conflicting reports. So I didn't I went to sleep early last night. I woke up and I saw these tweets about this. Then I was like, oh, wow. We're going to get big time wide receiver. Then I was like. And then these reports we're not getting. Three minutes or span of reading Twitter. Well, right. And and lock it for right unlock four tweet out. And he'll join us later on the program say, right, correct. About a couple of hours ago. Four o'clock in the morning tweeted out the bills nowhere close to trading for Antonio Brown and the Broncos and cardinals and jets were never in. It be careful what you read these days. Folks, it gets more ridiculous by the day, especially in some parts, that's of probably a little shot at maybe a guy that's a competitive Rappaport. Yeah. But we got jail she's coming out later on. So maybe a little fight between the two of us rap reports the one that sent out the tweet that basically the deals the bills are still. Here's the top Polisario. Right. Yes. Tweeted out as the bills still is closed in on a trade for Antonio Brown. One. Big question remains will be go. He said he wants a new contract it won't play. If it's not by his rules. If Brown wants to blow this up his weapon is saying he'll retire rather than play buffalo. Well, first off by by Tonio Brown taken to his Instagram and basically saying not that he basically said fake news. He can't you know, once that happens. I don't think that's a some kind of a leverage play because you really don't have any leverage right now to steals have the leverage for brow for Brown to say that as a bills fan, and I am a bills fan it. I don't want a guy, you know, because it's like he don't want to be on the bills. He just doesn't for him to say fake news. We you need to do what we call layout. Layout means let me shut up. That's if you really wanted to go to let team for him saying fake news. Now, he's got to be careful with fake news stuff Antonio Brown because the Steelers can't stand him. Okay. So just because they know he don't wanna go to bills they'll make the deal sweeter, maybe for the bills trades things have happened. I'm just saying that could happen just to stick to a beat. Well, but if you playoff there's a couple of different levels here number one is it'll be interesting to see how. Exactly if this deal does play out with the with the Buffalo Bills. Have the Rappaport deal? And then you have the Jason lockenfora tweets of through the overnight. So let's see if the deal gets a you're right in terms of the Pittsburgh Steelers, though tasks, but isn't that doing wrong by your organization in terms of if you make the deal too sweet for buffalo because he doesn't want to go to buffalo that you're all in essence hurting your organization because you're not getting proper value back in return. I think the depends to degrade the package depends on what the Steelers were to do with the bills dog. I get what you're saying. Like kinda, you know, you're not only just addictive, right? You're losing the player. But you're also screwing yourself over in the long run as well. Pretty oh. Better deal. And you know, that Brown would like to go there, aren't you just going to take the better deal, then in essence and not worry about exactly where Antonio Brown wants to go. Yeah. I guess you're I mean, I I'm basically saying the steals have such an agenda. Yeah. Just giving away. Right jeopardy for them. Not only. Are they gonna lose brow? But they're to make a terrible trade. Just a screw Antonio Brown ticket to write a sticking to listen. I I look at I look at this. And I I don't know. It's a very weird talking about off the air very difficult job when you're one of these when you're an NFL guy. That's in the business of breaking news. Yes, sir. When you're Irap reports Schefter Mortenson Polisario garafolo Jason lockenfora because not only do you have to be. I has any after I have the right connections and build up, you know, those guys whether it be agents general badgers players to where you get stories. I, but you also have to be right. Otherwise, your credibility goes out to go. Right. If you're wrong a lot of the time. Who cares if I could be wrong, you want to be first to be right? So we'll see exactly where this does end up because you have two guys that are. Very very good at what they do. When one of us gonna join us later on the program, saying the deals, not close between the Steelers and bills and the other one saying that the deal is close between the Steelers and the Bill, but also I think it also shows that these two guys, you know, Rappaport in jail see have two different sources, obviously a couple of different sources. You're right, obviously. But to circle back on the point you just made a second ago. Yeah. No, you're right. The job that these guys have to me it's job I'd ever want. I'd never have any desire to do that to try and break news and have sauces. I I don't I like when jail sees on the show. I think is very good. Guess she's a credible guy like him. He's he's, you know, he's a great shop and a lot of other guys do also. But sometimes I know just from all the years in wrestling. I've seen that too. Where guys that report, it's semi famous maitre sports. They tried to get the scoop as you know. And it's not just sports. It's another stuff in news. The news business political news, and they want to your point they want to get that scoop. I wanted to get it out early. And yet. You gotta make sure right that it's correct that it's definite. Otherwise, you look like a Jubran. That's the problem right now. He robbed Rappaport, stop, brownie. We'll especially and if this deal does not go down a. If it doesn't if if Antonio Brown ends up someplace else now for Antonio Brown. Here's the goal that he has. And this is the other thing not only we have we broken down in disgust, his, you know, him just attacking social media in any way, shape or form to grab attention on himself task. But it the Polisario if the top Sarah tweet is correct, right? And that Antonio Brown if he doesn't want to go to buffalo will threaten retirement and talk about a new contract. Eight number one. If I pick up Antonio Brown. He wants out of Pittsburgh. Yeah. I'm gonna now reward him for for what he did in Pittsburgh and not what he did for us. So now for it to get Antonio Brown. Donald do I have to give up something to get the player, which I understand. But now that the pay him more money here and rip up his old deal and give him a new contract. And then he also wants to threaten to retire. Listen. You know, it gets to a point here where you're almost if he doesn't end up in buffalo TASR, you know, you're not gonna be forlorn about it. You're going to be like all right? Well, do you really want to deal with the headache? Not only if I'm one of these teams the bow say the Buffalo Bills the Redskins the the raiders the titans one of these teams that have had conversations with the Steelers. So now, we have to give you up something. But he's got to be happy with the place that he's going. So I'd have a conversation with him beforehand and maybe in order by his happiness. I have to reward him with a new deal at thirty years of Asia. That is so much to give up for eight total Brown's a lot. It's a lot. No, I know a lot. And you know, you're getting a guy who is not just a headache. He's a frigging migraine. I mean, you know, what I mean like he's a migraine headache? And also. Yeah. And that's look, I I I don't like the bills mafia very strong fan base. Obviously football felow bells. Lot of just looking on Twitter. I mean, it was a lot of people happy. That's hashtag. This is great. Then a lot of bills fans will like this is horrible and the bills wire, which is verified account that report stuff on the bills date grabbed a day grabbed it, and they're like the bills are closer choir Antonio Brown because they went off of that thing. And and but it just looking at on social media what by Buffalo Bills fans are saying it's really split down the middle people happy about some would hate that. He was on a Bill McDermott and being these guys they're trying to change the culture, and you know, and and this doesn't this is his demeanor off the field or in the locker room. It's not really the culture. Right. And it doesn't play in in certain cities. I mean, you look in buffalo. You look in Green Bay you look in some of these cities where football is basically like church. That that attitude doesn't play India. They want guys they're going to be all lands. Exactly. That's really what it comes down to and from a broad perspective say as we discussed yesterday in terms of certain quarterbacks you brought up Rodgers and the Packers. That'd be at a point where he steps into that room. That is Aaron Rodgers team. Just like it's Rothlisberger team or breeze or Eli manning not bring up guys teams are going to train put those style of quarterbacks you go up to buffalo in and for the Buffalo Bills. You have Josh Allen Josh Allen, by the way has never completed over sixty percent of his passes at any level is ever play quarterback. So we know he's not an accurate. Right. He's got to get back to get better. And if you're Antonio Brown, you go from a future hall of fame quarterback Ben Rothlisberger to an inaccurate young Josh Allen. And here's the other thing for buffalo as we discussed. That's the last guy. I want to bring into my franchise with the young quarterback. I don't wanna Antonio around Chirpin and his ear throw the football game. You the football where where are you putting that one? Oh, I read this the last thing, I do I want my quarterback to step on the field and be able to develop at a natural, progression and pace. I don't want. Somebody chirp it in his ear. I it's like anybody else any okay, if you're fan or covered a game or a former player when you hear receiver is going to a team, you think. Okay. Who's the quarterback was to connection to the point you're making? And of course, I thinking the same thing, you'll take and it's like, well, you know, we got a quarterback in the bills who he's young. And his accuracy is not good, and you got a galaxy Antonio Brown who's not knocking quarterback off the hook. And he he'll be able to heal. I think he'll be able to control or getting the grill or in hot old get on this kid in a bad way. You don't want to rattle your quarterback. That's the less you want to do. And but but then again, Josh Allens also kid who seems like he'll be outspoken. So I don't I don't think marriage would work. Turns on on the bills. So it's just one thing. Like this. There's not a plethora of senior leadership..

"Northwestern the number one team in class three eight playing very very well only four turnovers in that first half nine steals. Forced nineteen mistakes by Benz central. And that is for a lot of time we've seen here in this first. And then that first half been central having more turnovers Dan points that happened at various points in the half. And that happened to end the half as well. And we have Matt Hicks along with the head coach Kathy waiting for north western. Thanks, John coach up sixteen at the half. What was your message to the girls here at halftime, please gotta keep our health. Dr foot on the pedal. Gilkey putting on pressure not that penetrated into the lane similar to the first half. Keep the defensive pressure on them. You're lucky in the second half. Thank you so much, John. Thank you so much coach and Matt. Okay, Bob, you're Benton central. What do you do? How do you? How do you turn this around? Well, you you look at your kids. And you say look, we've got sixty minutes. Give me everything you have as long as you. Can we really have to take care of the basketball be tough? Make great sharp cuts continue to play hard as you can play. When you have a shot. You got to knock it down come down. If we can make certain that we try to deny kindle Bostick a spot in the lane trying to keep her out of the lane. Give an extra body hit some extra help one Madisonville Laden as hard as you can play. Now this entire second-half just play as hard as you ever have. And know that when it's over you did everything you could possibly do. Well, here's my question. You don't normally when you're playing northwestern. You don't like to go fast, you probably slow it down. But now you're down seven sixteen. So you gotta go you, you you have and you have to the pressure. Now is you have to be efficient. More efficient than you've probably been. You gotta come up. You can't have too many dry possessions. And you cannot let them get more lead on you. Because it's going to be I think an extremely difficult thing to come back from a deep deep deficit. Ben central goes with Cassidy manure also inefficient. Audrey Strasbourg and keely meadows. Their.

I need to stay away from people doc. I'm going to go hang out northern Wisconsin's or do you think he's like animals and he's like yeah. I just don't want to be near people. He's like mean just doesn't want to be repeatable. Okay so continue with your theory that he's in northern Wisconsin. He's just living the wooded northern Wisconsin is they're only one. He's one of a few over under five big in the world under under under so how'd they stayed say hidden this entire talk there. The population has obviously decreased. It's dwindled. Yes originated in Canada as the Eddie and come to America. How how did they get past border security because I know that's pretty tough up in Canada in Wisconsin well? There's no wall so it just walked all right. You're going to have to go more in depth on not only why you think big fits real but also have. Have you seen okay so you believe that the footage Israel absolutely you leave leave. They will MHM that's debatable. Do you believe that there's been any footage out there. That has been faked in his is leaning everybody towards the conspiracy these not real because people are faking things now yeah probably are you going based off the one extremely grainy video that everybody kinda points to where he's walking and stops. It looks at the Cameron just keeps walking Jack Blinks. I'm not really the Guy Jack Link's dirty. Commercial General video ship undermined seeing that want probably doctored but that doesn't mean he's not out. There are headsets so tonight we've gotten bigfoot is definitely real and living in northern Wisconsin. What would you do if you came across bigfoot would you would you vote age twenty nineteen? I would use a camera that actually but would you try to or would you try and protect like the fact that you still think. bigfoot is one hundred percent real nor would you just the footage for yourself. I'm like no you gotta get the footage. I could then be the one discover big. Don't you think it'd be easier now to Dr Foot Anderson. It was back in the seventies. When this original footage came out of Dick foot wandering the forest and the Pacific northwest yeah I mean people probably see me? Walking around and SASQUATCH is walking around Sheboygan Wisconsin but I mean I've said it before footprints. I'm just intrigued by how many conspiracy theories you may believe in. Do you think there's a conspiracy theory out there that you have heard that you're like no that's not real or are you the type that like every conspiracy theory that's come out. You're like yeah I could see that go on down on rabbit hole in a lot of youtube conspiracies. Some of them are a little farfetched. What's The craziest one that you think that people may believe that you're actually out on.
