"To completely rule out the possibility of a pop up in the afternoon. Just cause it's warm and humid, but most areas absolutely dry and sunny. The high 93 same thing on Sunday with a high of 94 we get much more human on Monday with a high of 95. Unbelievable, Marshall. Thanks for joining me Appreciate it very much. Have a good afternoon. West Side Jeff sitting in for Blazer. Across social media at Westside, Jeff, Just pick up the phone and dial 614821 W TV and like Terry, did, Terry, Thanks for your call. Yes. You were talking about Tal Ki. Yes, He is alarming trying to alarm the American people and also Dr Breck, but I don't quite understand. Trump himself. He's a leader, and he likes to get Other countries and on things he himself. Dad, You know why we all vote collaborate and go together for this testing were behind in testing because Dr Breakfast himself said, We're not going to rely on what other countries have the test. Yeah, these other countries, Sweden and Norway and all that. They're testing is much better than ours. Go, and I think it floated down immensely. I think Trump more like his hands were tied with it, but I think he's getting really tired hearing stuff. Now that we're hearing, and like you said, we really don't know what is going on. You get up one morning. And they say, Mass in the morning. No matter I mean, it is bizarre. The American people are confused. We're tired, and we've had it and we need to revamp the whole medical system here. I think in reference to this testing, and that's all I had to say. Thank you and have a good day. Thank you, Terry. Appreciate listening Westside. Jeff is my name and all I do is just give you common sense opinion on current events and to dovetail under what you said. And that is, I don't think we have a major medical system Failure flaw problem. I think we're dealing with a pandemic that is very unusual. That is a once in a lifetime once and a generation once and hundreds of years. Situation that we've never seen before, and we will hopefully never see again. And I think it's so new that I don't think anybody really truly knows. I mean, you continue hear the president say we're going to have a vaccine by the end of the year. Let me ask you something. Do you want to be the first guy with that vaccine? I don't I'm not going to the first guy. I'm going to give it time before I get one. That's my attitude on that. I don't want to be the first. Trent you're on 6 10 Debbie TV in thanks for your call. Jeff, How are you? Great. Thanks for listening, man. First off. I'd like to say I'm really sorry for your loss of your I believe it was your name. It was. I had a cousin that died of covert. And and that was on Easter Sunday and then a young lady who was kind of like a second daughter through our third daughter to us spent a lot of time at the house that that one really that one really hit home emotionally for my family, and we're still struggling through it. Understand, And it's a terrible, tragic disease that's hitting people. It's awful it anyway. What I was caught I was calling about, Obviously, about this. But you know, I'm a big believer in getting context to these numbers, and I've been doing that working with Theo. Hi. I've been looking at the Ohio Department of Health website and kind of doing little little thing on the numbers that they put out. And it's It's really kind of fascinating when you get into it. What? You what you find my C one of the things it's not being publicized widely, is that 70% of these deaths or in long term care facilities? It. I don't know you. I know They've talked about a little that I haven't seen it publicized. The other thing they're not necessarily saying is that 91 Little over 91% of the deaths there 60 years or older. 60 years old or older. 52% are over 80 years old. Um, this is a It appears to be ah. Disease or AH, virus that's obviously hitting older people. It's not hitting the younger people as of today, based on today's numbers in Ohio Now these numbers I'm giving her a R r Ohio numbers. Um, the in the 20 to 29 range. There've been 11 deaths in the whole state. And out of 11 approximately 11.69 million people. Between 30 and 39 18 40 49. They're 45. And then it goes on up in in the 80 plus range, which could be a teed up 100. Whatever. They're 1528. That's the 52 plus percent. But it's kind of it's difficulty here when we're not getting, you know when this information is put out to make good decisions. Obviously, it's not a It's not a virus that is. Hitting younger people at all percentage wise. One of the things that you mentioned is that the death rate Is approximately 5%. Um, I think you know if you take the numbers I think that's a little misleading in the sense that those air in confirmed cases I believe I'm not sure if you're using the Ohio numbers, but they're saying that the numbers or 10 times The CDC came out last week and said they think that the numbers have confirmed ticker of cases Airport Probably 10 times the amount Well, if you take that in Ohio And they say they're 55,000 plus today that's 550,000. It takes the death, Reed and Ohio down about 1/2 percent. The mortality rate, so it's it's a difficult thing, and it's really important to get context. I believe to these numbers. Anyway. I completely agree with you, Trent. And I appreciate you listening. Appreciate your call. You're spot on with that A majority of the deaths across Ohio in particular have come from the long term care. Homes and facilities like that. That's clearly and it's hitting the older generation, even more so in the vulnerable ones, and those of the ones that we need to protect, no doubt about it so Correct coming up next. We want to talk about the Washington Redskins today. Daniel Snyder, the owner of the Redskins, has a noted he duly noted that there's an issue Roger Goodell has spoken..

"That was it really. Yeah so I've gotten censored on almost every platform posting just trying to use the thrive account to get the word out. I've had so many of those blocked. Do they said. Hey you can't do this. This is hate speech. You can buy a copy of Mein Kampf. Hitler's book today. But my book fear unmasked that I worked on with Esther. Kevin is now banned from Amazon. As as hate speech it's banned. The book is banned books. Just to thrive time show dot com slash freedom and you can download the book for free. I give it away for free. But it's banned. You can buy Hitler's Book Mein Kampf Today. But you can't buy my book. That's insanity yeah it's crazy. It's banned potato each now. Third the checklist. When you try to get people Jason to follow the checklist. Do you ever have any people push back on that. Oh yeah people for some reason either hate or afraid of structure. So when you hold them accountable. Hey Dr Brek. It's two o'clock so let's go into the two o'clock checklists. I'M GONNA take up front. Can you clean the bathroom? Is that my job description? I always hear brek would never say that but that other people other people would always say we'll do you pay me to do that was hired to again. If you take a stand against the bad hire you take a stand against corruption. You take a stand for following the check. Listen you could have a fear of the reaction of other people right okay. We continue following the heard about anything. But Everything Jason. The heard about something. Let's just say that all the all employees say all the employee's company and say we don't feel like we should go to work because not safe right and you show them the models. Yesterday I showed the models to some of the employees the room. I had read the article about the models being wrong and I said come hug me and I'll say I told you so. I got two out of three of them to do it. Nice because they know that it's they know that the heard was wrong right right but when you bring it up man how. How is that when you bring up that now that we know the models are wrong and we know that the number of cases are wrong and you even bring up. That idea what happens to most people. Well if you are following a heard that is on its way swiftly off a cliff in your that one cow or steer whatever or buffalo other other horny animals that decides to go the other way. You're going to get a few like passing glances like what's his Weirdo. Doing and typically people aren't going to pay you much attention but the fact the second you start putting something out there. That's an opposition of what the heard thinks or how they act. Then you're not just a black sheep your problem you are different and people don't like when things are different. That's one of the things that made me super upset and started my exit from my liberal views as everybody wanted hope and change but then the second you start. Changing things are going. No no no no. We wanted everything to say. We don't we don't want this type of change. We want everything exactly the same. When black and white we want. We want a drastic change right. We don't know what the changes we hope. It's GonNa be good Yup and now that we're getting it we don't want change. This is new one we want. We hope for some great change and now that we're getting the change that's limiting our freedoms. We don't want that change right now. We have a hope. We can go back to what we had interesting now. Point five again holding people accountable at any any aspect of life. Why is it so scary for people people are? It comes down to fear and it also comes down to people's personal relationships or how they're perceived most people think especially you know if you're new to management even if you've been managing for a long time and you move to a new team you human beings so desperately craved the attention and approval of other human beings and they know that simply asking somebody to something that is in their job description. Part of a checklist or offering something going to help better them if they are in opposition of it that's going to create some sort of negativity and then their approval rating much like the president or other any other elected official starts to go down and people don't want to lose that approval rating Okay so what I to do now. I want to edit this as as we wrap up. Today's show I want to give a darker Brown opportunity to to to share your final thoughts on fear and ruled by fear. What Nathan deal the share about this because again fear? Is the mind killer. Mosque tweeted fear. Is the mind killer. I agree once. You're afraid it's hard to think logically We've got to move past the fear and go to another gear called faith. We gotta walk with full faith full belief. We've got to be confident. We cannot be fearful. We must be filled with faith that the things will get better. We must go back to work. We must get this going. Get the economy restarted. We must do this. Dark brick breath. What is your take on two things one on accountability? I believe it was passed her Craig or shell that said You know accountability is like putting the bumpers up on bowling and so it just enhances your opportunity for success. You cannot get a gutter ball when you've got the little bumpers up. The the kids use on the bowling alley. And so you intentionally placed that your life You are going to thereby have better success better opportunity for success because you don't have the ball go in and the only reason as adults that we don't use it is the pressure of others You know but but if we used the bumpers even as adults we're going if we're not professional bowlers. We're going to have more opportunity for success and so we shouldn't fear accountability. We should relish it. We should welcome it. We should intentionally proactively. Go out and put it in place To help us meet our goals into to reach the places. We want to reach the destination. So that's on accountability. On fear I there's two aspects of that and one. I wish I could remember the author but I read a book Several years ago that talked about fear and what he was talking about with his dad asked him to go into a new chicken coop that they had and feed the chickens and he was afraid of the rooster because it would get in his face and flap its wings and pointed claws at him and he was very afraid of the rooster and so he didn't WanNa go in his dad made him go in there to feed the chickens and so he comes back into the House to approaches dad and his dad's like you gotta go back out and face face the chick face the rooster and he didn't want to and so he says that it wasn't until he feared his dad more than he feared the rooster that he got inside the chicken coop and actually faced down the rooster because dad was scarier with the belt and so I think fear is on both sides of that It depends on what you're hearing and how you utilize that so fear can be something that Immobilisers you and it paralyzes you but it can also be something that motivates you so. I mean it's all in the response and it's all in how its utilized and so you know. Fear is is both good and bad. Fear is What you what you fear out ahead of you versus what you fear behind you And so when your fear to to motivate US greater than the fear to to Stagnation Or or following the heard In this particular situation We've got to overcome that fear with the greater fear of losing our liberty of losing our constitutional rights of our economy. Never starting back up. I mean there's so many other things that we should be much more afraid of than the corona virus at this point Initially we thought that it was. You know we heard the bark of a massive pit bull and then we find out that. It's actually a teacup Chihuahua yet. We didn't change our action. We're still running away from that pit bull and we're not facing down the teacup Chihuahua. So make sure but he understands practical steps for dealing with fear one. Get all the facts. Absolute step to act after. You've gathered the facts. We repeat. Step one gather the facts. Step to then act. Don't do the other way. Don't act the other way. Don't don't act when you're scared. And then gather the facts okay. So next time something bad happens. Your advertisement isn't working. Your employees not doing a good job. Sales are off bad. Things are happening. Gather the facts and then act Nathan. What's your take on on dealing with fear? Fear being in mind killer well going to follow up on what Dr Breakfast saying. It's I heard it said once said that we don't change until the pain of staying the same outweighs the pain of the change a lot of times. That's what we're afraid of. And if you go to proverbs. Twenty to twelve and thirteen a encapsulate. This idea in the Bible says the Lord's is keep watch over knowledge but he frustrates the words of the faithless. The slugged says. There's a line outside. I'll be slain in the street. Lotta Times that's what we do in our lives. Were sitting there in our homes. Afraid to ever go out. I call the dog bite phenomena. Had this happened to me about a decade ago. I went to customers house and as I walk up to the door. The dog walks out just a beautiful German shepherd. Big Big a white German shepherd. I haven't seen one of those four. They called them Casper and he walks up to me and he walks by me. Bam just bites into my hand I mean right through. My Nail was blood going everywhere. Ooh Okay I had yet to be bitten hard by dog before under and so but I'm logical man. I thought hey I'll just be fine. What it took me. Two years of petting dogs. 'cause I'm in houses with dogs all the time I had to say okay logically. I know every bit me and I had to go out there and just the next dog. It's the old adage get back on the horse and you get knocked off but I guarantee you. It's not going to be easy and a lot of us this this transition. What the pastors doing. That's not going to be easy but we have to push through the pain to keep things right now. We're pushing through the pain to keep things the same so no that that will wear off. I bet dogs every day now but that first six months my hands shook every time I tried to touch dog because internally there was fear I had override that fear boys. We got to do that. Homeboys and Home Girls Listen. Georgia's been open now for thirty days and people aren't dying in droves. Okay Georgia did it. We can do it. South Dakota South Dakota Oklahoma's doing all the cool kids are doing. We're opening up. Folks were opened up from coast to coast. And now we got to be afraid of our governors. I encourage you to peaceably assemble. If you're in California do it yes. And here's the deal embraced the fact you're going to get arrested get arrested do it again do it again? I'm serious because the Department of Justice will then have to ruin your favorite..

"And you got to track a Christina according to Jason You like tracking according to me most people. I've met hate tracking again. According to Jason. You love tracking. He talks about you all the time in. Our coaches meeting is constantly bragging on you through you like to track. Most people hate to track. Please explain to me. What is psychologically wrong with you? Why do you like to track? What benefits do you see of tracking? It must be like oh Well listen I never liked tracking. I would never numbers person. That's just not what I was into. But in order to be successful and in order to change you can't change what you don't measure so you just have to track it. You just have to get over it. Get over yourself and just do it in the beginning it. You know you have to embrace the suck in just track everything we track leads. We track phone calls. We track Reviews we track you know. Kpi's we track literally everything in anything. Our numbers you have to track that because you have to know your numbers that's school number one in business you go on shark tank the people that tank on shark tank or the people that don't know their numbers So it's just basically it's just business one on one and it's number one. I feel like I track everything in my life. Now you know from my workouts to the water drink you know my my food the screen time that I you know how much I go on my phone and then my business. I tracked everything there because now I have some numbers here that I can actually adjust and change towards goals. But if I didn't I was just flying blind I want to know where my business needed to be adjusted at that singular time. And you can't do that unless you track it sucks. It's hard. It takes time to get used to but again it's just like any system. Once you start used to it all keeps rolling. It just becomes part of your daily life. It's part of your routine and then you're going to actually realize where you're lacking in what you can change and you cannot do that without tracking and that's the number one thing. I see with any business. They have no idea what this is. How many customers have come in versus last number? You're just kidding me. You're getting you're getting me fired up there. This is a true story and Steve. Maybe you can. You can validate that. I'm not making this story up. I used to have partners for one particular company and Steve. I'm sure you've never had this with other partners. Never certainly not now but certain partners. They don't want to track things because they're trying to screw you right so I have many many clients that I work with that are just month to month but over these past two thousand seven really many clients have said. Is there any way? You'll guarantee me clay in writing that you'll never coach Mike Competition and I always say the same thing. No unless we do a contract and they say okay then. That's what I'm looking for a contract. I said but if I do that I want a small percentage of gross revenues. So it's like you have a C- Maybe CEO or more like a COO. For the rest of your life for flat fee of seventeen hundred dollars a month and then two point five percent of gross revenue as you grow. And so I've had that deal Christina with so many clients over the years so the clients that I deal with don't mind tracking and then every month they just pay me my fee because they were growing together and they track and they're very transparent and it's the people that never want to pay me and are always trying to screw me somehow are unable to track. They said I just I couldn't. I can't the point of sale. I'm having a hard time pulling it. I tried it. The numbers are hiding out. I'm struggling Steve. If you've ever had a partner partners that are not transparent with you about tracking because the mortgage industry. It's all commission based and you've you've worked in the industry for a long time. Have you ever had partners that? Hide payments from you by not tracking on purpose. Yes you happening everyone everyone does. I mean no I mean. I just don't think anyone's going to tell you the truth. So you got to find out that information on your own because otherwise people are interesting you know. Humans are interesting though. They'll do things to I don't know I guess. Apparently people do things benefit them. Not Me so. I've actually found that some people like to lie to themselves which is crazy through one particular client years and years ago. I used to ask him on every call. Do you know your break even point the number at which you break eve. How many sales you need to break. Even now I am not kidding. I probably said this every week for six months You know on and our coaches call. Do you know the break even point and what happened. Was this particular client. His daughter was responsible for managing the numbers and she did not want the world to know that she was spending all the money and was was taking money from the company so she didn't want her family to know what was going on Christina through trashing numbers. Have you discovered anything weird ever? Have you ever discovered that? Maybe one person isn't as good as good at sales as the other or maybe one person isn't as quick at getting the vehicles of fixed as somebody else or maybe somebody isn't doing as good of a job or has it. Does it help you on the quality side? Track numbers to yes. It does Yup for sure you know we have. Kpi's in the shop so it just helps us definitely help us with you. Know working with our employees in the shop as far as getting cars out in a timely manner. If you don't track that again you know. We have a system for tracking that also. You're not going to be able to measure it. We have each person that checks in on each car. Sometimes they're not getting cars out in the proper amount of time. It helps us when we when we confront them. We have paperwork on it. That shows that they're not performing up to their potential. And so yes. It's huge you have to and again. It was hard. We never did it before but now we do track everything. New Couples always way to find a way to try real quick. I WanNa throw something in the next step. Christina actually blindsided me when I first started coaching with her into the program for like a month or two with the original coach but At that point I only have like a handful of clients couple months in I had more but Christine and angels touch. They were the first and still are the only client. I've ever asked that very first week. Hey we need to figure out what the budget is. What your break. Even point. She was like Oh. It's Yada Yada Yada and it kind of stopped me in my tracks. So now does she pull that answer out of the area. Is that what she thinks? Tulsa get trophy or what? We're trying to give your. Mvp Trophy when you come to Tulsa to get that trophy coming to a conference I will. I will come this year. Twenty twenty. It's on my list. Come in December December broken down single. Here's my exact overhead here's payroll here's utilities. Here's everything we're just like. I work with that. I WANNA make sure we're getting s idea. You said step seven. This is so important step. Six established weekly tracking step seven established key performance indicators. Steve in your in Your Business in the mortgage industry you guys were your companies essentially a startup. You know five years ago I worked for five years. You guys just past two hundred and fifty million dollars of mortgages total. You've done across the system. And why is it so important that business or with the companies you work with like Shaw Homes Dot Com? Why is it so important that everybody who works there has a key performance indicator for how much activity they need to be doing each and every day? Why does everybody need a number because of loan close on time? People get pissed when you're trying to close on your house and you've got the moving truck ready. You've got the utilities ready to go on. And then your lender calls says hey. We can't close on that day because whatever that we just try to avoid that. So you've gotTa have checks and balances in place to make sure that things move along we've got things like appraisal title getting a loan through underwriting. If you just Kinda Willy Nilly did that. You would close a whole lot of loans. Not In twenty one days and you'd have a whole lot of unhappy client so got to have it. Now once you have those key performance indicators. You have to coach up your diligent. People and coach the uncatchable people out Christine. Have you ever had to fire somebody ever or if you've had a great team from the very beginning we definitely a couple of years ago? We had to get rid of some. You know people that just weren't performing to to are potentially But now we have a phenomenal team. We have no issues once in a while things come up. But that's just the human enough we're not. We're not robots out back but not phenomenal team but yes. We definitely hired a lot of people because a lot of frogs before we found our body princess for sure. Okay so again. I just want to get someone to take on this Dr Breakfast. Somebody out there who they've gone through step seven. They've established key performance indicators. Right now they now they know they clearly 'cause they're tracking that somebody's not pulling their weight. Sure have you ever had to fire somebody absolutely? Yes what does it? How do you do it? What does it look like? There's somebody out there listening. Who's been in business to gays and you've not fired anybody 'cause you're related to them. You've not fired. Somebody that decade because there buddy. You've not fired because you're week. I don't know what it is. Help somebody Dr Brek. Well like with this with the KPI's when you've got a clear you know numbers. Don't lie that's one of the things I love about numbers hips. Don't lie for important but Yeah I mean you have these performance reviews periodically and you say hey you know. This is where you're trying to coach them up and then if those coaching sessions aren't going anywhere you just say your lovely person but this isn't a good fit for you. I wish you the very best Okay I'M NOT HAPPY. You're not happy. Let's get happy. Okay go somewhere to be happy elsewhere. Now step nine. Create a checklist for everything. Create a checklist for everything and Jason. I'm going to have Nathan up on your mind just for a second here..

"By click on the about US button. There's a video. They're kind of shears. Your story You've been in business for it. Looks like for a long time like you. Haven't this isn't a startup thing. How long were you in business before you? You reached out to us So we were in business for boat nine almost ten years But he had a previous partner and things just weren't being run correctly. We actually sold out of the business really and then yes so. He bought us out and about three years later he wanted to sell it to a competitor in the area and we said absolutely not my husband and I and my brother did anything. Could to make sure that we could seal the deal. Get the business back. And we've had nothing but exponential growth since then our previous partner was Kinda like keep it small you know. Keep it all where we just go. Want to skyrocket this thing so again I wanna make sure unpack all this because we have listeners. Right now who are hearing certain things and I know they have questions. They want to ask so one of the questions. I know our listeners would want to ask. You said you've been listening to our show for. I think nine months or eight months before you reached out to us. Is that correct? Yeah what kept you from reaching out because I know for me personally whenever I hear something. That sounds too good to be true. I or unbelievable. I just don't believe it until I have facts. What what was keeping you from reaching You know it was just fear of change you know just I guess just not being confident and maybe our business couldn't be helps. It's a lot of things we just were on shore But we're just like you know what we can't just stay stagnant. We can't just you know. Continue doing what we're doing. We're doing well but I WANNA do better. We want to be better. We want to be the best in the area. And you can't do that without help. So that's when we decided to pull the trigger. Now Okay so your. Your Business has had massive growth but wouldn't work unless you did the work so as we were building the website for you in helping you with the branding and that kind of thing we asked. You. We tasked you with getting reviews from your happy clients. We said it is imperative for your success and it relates to the Google Algorithm. Because Jason. You know this or four variables that impact your rank and Google drew variable. Number one is. Your website has to be economically compliant. So we did that for you. It has to be mobile compliant. We did that for you. We have to add original content. Which you did and we've done with you. And then the fourth is you have to have the most reviews the most reviews and the most content. Was it hard for you to gather reviews because you have so many happy customers but was it hard for you to pick up the phone or humbling free to pick up the phone call clients who are former clients and ask them for reviews or what was the process like forgetting those reviews so in the beginning it was definitely different. 'cause we're used to you know randomly. We'd be kidding. Hey we review but we never actively looked for them so it was definitely a change It's only a blend in our daily tasks you know when the customer would come in we check them out and then would ask them K. If you don't mind. Would you give us purview or another one that we could do? Is You know we had this little placard made and ask us how to get ten dollars off. We did something like that. You know. So it kind of initiatives. They're happy with our service club company coming to us for years. Why not get a little discount and also help us review We also call a lot of our customers. After a couple of weeks of after two weeks we have a little thing on her computer. Hate his customers been here. Two weeks ago he reach out with an email or phone calls depending on our relationship with the customer In this took time to get used to but now it just kind of a well oiled machine just to get you know. Views weekly And I think we're up to one hundred forty now we started. I think we only had twenty three twenty something like that now. We have a listener out there about the name of Dr Woodlock who? I'm sure he's going to hear this. But Dr Whitlock a cosmetic surgeon as anybody does search for Tulsa Cosmetic Surgery Right. Now pulled up right. Now if you do a search for Tulsa Cosmetic Surgery Dr Whitlock is now the highest rated cosmetic surgeon in all of the Midwest but previous working with with him. He had almost no reviews at all and so he said clay. Can your team. Just get him for me. So we have literally called thousands of former clients to ask them for reviews. And today you now has three hundred and thirty four objective reviews in your case you went out there and got the reviews your yourself but either way. Somebody's gotta get those. Google reviews now once you get to go reviews right and once you get the website. We're starting to get in a good spot here. I'm Nathan with complete carpet. I'm user your company can Nathan. We use the listeners. What is your. What is your domain. It is complete carpet. Tulsa DOT COM COMPLETE CARPET. Tulsa dot correct. Yes okay we went through the exact same process exact. Same Path with you. How have you been able to get reviews because you've gotten a lot of reviews and again I'm trying to help somebody out there? That is stuck today. How have you went out there to get? How have you gone out into the marketplace and gathered those objective reviews? Step one to getting a good review is to do a really good job if you do a great job while the customer to start with. This just didn't do the jump. Start off with a good job because there's a lot of Brennan a lot of guys who don't want to get reviews and you know why they don't want to get reviews because they don't want to hear they don't want to hear the feedback they don't want to hear the feedback exactly right so you've got to start off with a great process and naturally we go through what we call a hundred points system and so we think that everything we do in our business is worth about five points and you do little things a great answering phone do a great job on the service you call him before you show up you show up and do a good job and then at the end the ask is really easy because now you've created a favor bank with them and they want to reciprocate with you okay so I'm walking listeners. Through the steps here step one makes your website. Looks Great. Okay if you if you have a web guy. Let's make sure it looks great. You can hire us or have your web guy. Do it Christina when you said you had a guy that charged a lot of money. Do they charge you per change or per hour per how? How did the pricing work for the other Web Guy Usually per change and it was a crazy amount every single month and I could never get a hold of them. Our website was subpar. It looks kind of cheesy. I mean it was better than having better than nothing but it was just ridiculous throughout some numbers at all. Because there's somebody out there. I know I will not mention the name of the company because I just recently found out that the guy who I'm GonNa talk about in just a second listens to our show all the time good so but this guy used to charge me seriously. Every time I wanted to do a brand about twenty grand for the website. The logo any new. I can pay it so we kept doing it and change. It was like one hundred and fifty bucks per change and he never knew the passwords and he was never in town. He was always travelling. Us coming back from some place on the way of carpal tunnel on. I mean seriously was always on the way to someplace on the way back from some place Christie how much money were you paying per change? It was hundred honestly and probably double what yearly probably double. What we pay now. It's so again out there. I WanNa make sure you get this idea if you hire us to to coach your website yours so a month to month basis. We'll make changes. We make weekly changes unlimited changes included Bam. We also create. You also created Sofgen step one credit world class website. That is that canonical compliant. Step to get. Those reviews gathered those objective reviews to get Jason. Other clients typically struggle with gathering reviews or is this easy for most people. I would say when it comes to like when I joined the coaching program. They they listen to the podcast. They're familiar and they may have tried it out themselves but then when you walk them through like I always give them the elephant room example. If I'm at the front desk or the Whitelock example if you're calling people back and you know about the first two weeks or so. It can get a little tough. But then once they finally get those yeses and they get in the flow and they stop fearing the ask then it works out okay so step. One create a world class website. All right step did it is kinetically compliance step to gather objective reviews on Google. All right. There's two ways to do that either. You can do. Quality control calls like Christina. Does you ask people for reviews right there or you could hire. You could hire team to get those reviews either way. I don't care. Just get the reviews but Dr Breakfast hot take for me. I just didn't realize how important getting Google reviews really. Was you and so like Christine. I mean organically. We had gotten maybe fifteen over the course of fifteen years nearly and So I mean part of it was just the The real importance of actually making that ask you know in just Just starting their where we hadn't asked before. And so you know we are already doing a great service and then we just had to ask our patients to Go Online and and actually tell the world about it and they were happy to do so so I think for a lot of business owners if that's part of your fear You know your long term clients the people that you've been servicing for a long time They're more than happy to tell the world about it. You just have to kind of point them in the right direction. And they're happy to take off from there Kinda give them the bullhorn and let him run Christina. Did you feel the same way? Did you think maybe people wouldn't WanNa leave your reviews or maybe they didn't matter as much as they matter what were what. Were your initial thoughts about reviews. No actually you know it's I. It's just a little awkward asking. Never had that fear because we always put customers. I we have phenomenal. Customer Service That's always the number one thing that we hear. Honor abuse is how customers services. We always put them first. So that really wasn't a fear. We knew that we could get them. You know we have raving fans you know. We've been dealing with the public for many many years now so it was actually once you get past the whole asking part it. Then you're fine. 'cause you trust your service you trust your you know what you do for your customers so after that it's just easy if you are always putting the customer first customer service as Number One..

"Dates. Yeah Group we offer to help with childcare. People need it okay. Well I want a listener to think about this for a second though last night. I'm watching the Patriots the Patriots together and it landed Roberts number fifty two. They moved him from linebacker to fullback. In Oh my gosh. I can't wait for the next game. I was getting almost unethical way. I was getting turned on by watching Scott. Because I'm serious. What would happen is? They're having a hard time throwing the ball. So what they're doing now is they're handling the ball to direct perk head. They're heading the ball to any other running backs back there and the running backs are somehow able to get yardage because Land Roberts is the fullback and as soon as Tom Brady. Hikes the ball. He runs out there and find a linebacker and just smashes them and I don't think a linebackers used to having somebody come at them who is also a linebacker because usually a linebacker. I mean it's crazy and he just is like a bulldozer. Boom in the holes are massive. Six-yard you saw six yards a carry five yards a carry and like each drive and games could take forever Because every time you pass the ball is not caught and they stopped the clock right the Patriots. Eight up like twelve minutes on one. Drive of fifteen minute quarter. It's just is awesome. It's fun to watch him last night. And then my main man. Tom Brady got so fired up about blocking you saw that. Tom Brady threw a wicked block. It was awesome and then Tom Brady got so excited about the running game. He tried to run to the corner of the end zone about a fourteen yard. Run at some point. He realized I'm Tom Brady. He goes for it and at some point he realized wait a minute. I'm not fast But he went for a Juke. She's going right. He fakes left but nobody had to move or just because even if he did go left they could catch everywhere he gets up. And he's Kinda smiles at the camera but it was awesome watching father time out there better in my head. I knew but again if you play football You have to embrace. That injuries are part of the game. Which is why Bill Belichick Cross trains? People he trains fullbacks to work as linebackers and vice versa. Because in the event of an injury you you have to be able to still move forward. Get some interchangeable parts. You can put in place so like Julian. Edelman is a former quarterback but he is a receiver but he also occasionally has played defensive back throughout the year he will return punts. He operates as a running back from time to time and receiver James White on the Patriots receiver. He can be a running back. He can switch positions. They do this all the time. I think oftentimes especially when those positions are kind of opposite and complementary to one another. So it's like you've got a receiver who then turns around a place corner or safety like they know the position really will still the linebackers normally the guy coming in crashing heads meeting the running back? So you put him as a running back. They know exactly what's going to happen. How that's GonNa come at them and what they hate to receive as a linebacker. So that's what they go and do and so. Yeah you've got several of those types of positions that it's really fun to see when they change it up now. I'm GONNA tell you this Mr Listener Mrs Listener. I don't know what it's like to have an HR problem. I don't I can't relate to that but I used to be able to when I was eighteen. Nineteen twenty. I didn't cross train people but I'm Ri- started an entrepreneurial sixteen years old sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen I was putting all my faith and trust and one guy so only one guy could answer the phone. Do only one guy on my team can do the sales or only one guy could. Dj Clubs and only one guy could DJ WEDDINGS. Only one guy could dj out of town events. Well let me tell you what happens if you do not. Embrace that rejection is part of the process True story by the Ad Mathurin He and I are very very good friends. And I'm surprised my wife she won't she won't hear this show before but I'm surprised at my wife. We'RE GONNA fly out to Denver on a Saturday morning and they come back Sunday night. We're going to go out there and visit Andy and Shalom Mathurin and Jonathan Barnett. And his wife Vanessa. We're going to be part of a Christmas gift for just a two-day little hot hot trip there. But Andy I called Andy. He was a basketball player. Or you did for me And I said Andy. Here's here's the deal the DJ who supposed to Dj tomorrow night in Minnesota on the Mississippi River for the Prom can't do it and I need you to do it. And he goes so you want me to drive twelve hours up. North to government administered. Now he's British right and he doesn't back in the day I I'm not kidding. I gave him a compass because he was not good news. From from Essex England. We didn't have Google maps like we have now turn by turn so I would print out the map quest and he had a compass and I'm like dude because he was Dr West when he meant to go north. And some you gotTA go north. You gotta stay on. You gotta get over there to Joplin forty four Joplin then. We're going north. I gave him the map. Homeboys driving up there and you gotta drive there now. Here's the deal either. Dj who can't this so crazy. Ida Dj who called me on Thursday and said I cannot dj the all night event in Capelle Texas that were book tour and he was my only guy who could do all night like school events. He's only he's only who can do outside of Andy so he says I cannot. Dj Tomorrow Night. I hate to do this for. It's an all night event right. So I said Okay Vanessa. We're going to have to drive tonight to Dallas and DJ or tomorrow with draft tomorrow to Capelle Texas and I'm going to have to DJ there. And as soon as I finish that event I have to drive from Dallas which is four four hours south of Tulsa straight without sleep to MINNESOTA TO MINNETONKA MINNESOTA to meet Andy Mathurin to set up for the event. He's GONNA run ahead with the equipment but he does not know how to. Dj this kind of event. And and then I already had an event booked in Minnesota Then I'm going to have to go do this wedding while you stay on the boat with Andy to Dj the Prom. And I literally. I'm not kidding I did not sleep from like I want to say Friday. 'cause it was an all night event letting the event started like nine. Pm The problem of enter the bill night project graduation all night graduation thing So I didn't sleep from like noon on Thursday noon on Friday until Sunday at like three in the morning. Because I had nobody else. Who could do it right? And there's so many entrepreneurs out there we have to embrace. That rejection is part of the process. I'm Jason we invite guests on the show we just had the former. Ceo of Yum brands confirm. We had John. Maxwell confirmed a songwriter. For Taylor Swift just confirmed who had done some Bruce yesterday. Yes we're having huge. That's the guy who's the TRUMBULL WAMBA. I get knocked down. We you summarize Roku weeks listeners. Real quick how. He earned his money while trying to get his band to take off. He said that Both he and the other eight or nine people in the band that lived on the same place where expert shoplifters right and they also stole their electricity and by the way we do not endorse those strategies shocked that we get a lot of rejections before we get yes. It's not because I mean that's one of the things. I embraced like speaking on both rejection. And Cross training. You are having Adrian and I do some guerrilla marketing for the Oklahoma City Franchises for Oakland for an elephant in the room. Explain what we're doing. This is Jonathan. Kelly went out and bought to Oklahoma City phone book. I love it and he said Jay you're starting at a age and you're starting Z. And you guys just GonNa light those phones up until you guys meet in the middle and so we're going. How's it going so I did an hour Friday after the elephant room meeting. I did forty five calls. Which is my new personal record but forty four people told me no. I got one. Yes out of forty five calls one hour and if you can't accept rejection like I had people I call them and they're like you realize it's nine o'clock. This is business lenders almost Christmas. I've people in here all right next. We're give haircuts. I love that call. So good is the only thing. I was Kinda mad about. Was Adrian got to start at Z. And I don't know if you guys know this but there's a there's a popular skate shop. Say their name but they start with Z. And it's kind of like the Hebrew so you call them you know. They want a dollar haircuts. He was just getting booking. After he got some bookings and meanwhile I'm calling a best insurance a accounting and they're like sir. There's no men that work here or do you realize what time it is unafraid. All right so now move. Number seven is tipped for Success John Lee Dumas. Seventh tipped for success is stick to the daily plans in hard times. I think it could be very easy to stick to the plan when it's easy and very hard when it's difficult. Clinton even in the fitness industry for how many years? How many years have you been in this fitness industry? The eighteen years how many times. How many fitness people have you seen colleagues of yours come and go? How many people in the fitness industry have you seen? You know? Quick flame up there. They're excited. They're fired up and then they're going. Oh Dr Breakfast talking earlier. It's very very high turnover people. It sounds fun a fun job. Then they realize okay. The hours are not ideal early mornings evenings. Yes one of the highest turnover. Zanini Industry the fitness industry. But you've stayed the course you sir why I mean for me. It's a passion love to help people I love to share my knowledge on fitness and nutrition and really powerful changing lives in so if you really embrace that and then you understand being an entrepreneur owning a business what it takes. Then you know you don't have any surprises. I knew what it was getting into when I signed up for the next tip gives you. Is this mastermind accountability Jason? Let's talk about this at the Christmas party. Will you explain who all was in attendance at the Party? That kind of blew your mind as I adjust my microphone. Was this the thrive Christmas party? Yes okay so the biggest one was the one who after I left? Miss e fought. That was crazy but then also and I thought about this on the way home when I was busy fought by. "I'm not sure when you're going to hear this show. You can hear it in the morning. We're going to hear at night but I can tell you. I'm recording this show for you on this Valentine's Day on the day of yet another Patriots football game. I'm super excited. I'm wearing my gunner Shefty Jersey as the Patriots get prepared tonight at seven twenty central standard time to play the Houston Texans and what will be an incredible game and Even though everything about watching the Patriots is probably something. You don't care about the reason why like sharing with you about the Patriots are so there are so many management mastery tips. You can learn from their head coach. Bill Belichick there are so many parallels to running an NFL team as that are very similar to running a small business and it is absolutely possible for you to learn something from Bill Belichick each and every time you hear a reference to him on these shows but as much as I love bill. Belichick the person who's made the biggest impact on my life and my business philosophy by far is Napoleon Hill on Napoleon Hill. Is the best selling self help author who famously worked for free for Andrew Carnegie the world's wealthiest man during his lifetime because he wanted to learn the secrets of super success. Jason Think about that for a second imagine. How old are you right now? I am twenty six. Imagine you went today. You went home and you're Napoleon Hill is about this age and you went and talk to your your your wife. Listeners. Out there who don't know your wife. Well what is your wife's first name. Her name is Alexis. And how long have you two been together Going on five years married for three months as of the end of November. So imagine this imagine that you went home today and you said to your wife he said. Hey here's a deal. She says I was the podcast goes good. But here's the deal. I have agreed to work for free for Bill Gates or in this case. It's not an Andrew Carnegie. Andrew Carnegie was the world's wealthiest man during his lifetime. Bills the world's wealthiest right now as of today just passed. Jeff Bezos with a net worth of one hundred ten billion as of last week. But I I've been thinking it over and we're GONNA move out there to the Seattle area and we're going to work for Bill Gates for free for ten years and she says how's it going to go over. She would be very confused. She'd say I don't understand what you're saying or why you're saying it so and you'd say you know. Hey Listen I. I wanted to learn how to become super successful. and Bill Gates agreed to let me work for him poor free for a decade and he promised he's going to introduce me to the. Who's who of the business game so I'm GonNa meet you know I'm GonNa meet the head people at Apple Tim Cook. I'M GONNA meet Mark Zuckerberg. I'M GONNA get to include all these interviews in my book but I've got to commit to work for free for a decade. Now here's what he's going to do. He is going to give me access to these people. But I've got to work for free for a decade. How would that conversation go over? Its it would make a lot of sense to me but I guarantee you say you're crazy person. Oh look who just hopped in Dr Breakfast. Optical we Jason can you adjust? Mike? Yeah we're talking about Napoleon Hill and the notable quote from Napoleon Hill but again the the premise of thinking grow rich is that Napoleon Hill wanted to learn how to become super successful and he was able to do it as a result of agreeing to work for free through an for Andrew Carnegie and that would be the equivalent of Jason Beasley working for free for Bill Gates. How long would your wife allow you to work for free for for Bill Gates? I mean honestly with this current merged dynamic. You said Hey they're gonNA cover a room and board. How long would the free thing workout fifth? Give it about two weeks. Two weeks okay. So Napoleon Hill did this for years which is by the way why why. Napoleon Hill didn't stay married very long Multiple Times that makes sense Oh by the way. Jason is attempting to ambidextrous. He's fixing fixing the microphone wreck's over there and for Bucky Cordray Wall also doing a show but we're talking about Napoleon Hill quotes and we're breaking down the words of wisdom of Napoleon Hill a doctor Brett. How are you doing this morning? My friend or you Do you did you have a good Saturday. I did yeah. Hey I'm doing well man. Hey have you read a lot of a Napoleon Hill throughout your life Not A lot but yeah I've read Thinking Rich Are you wearing a magnolia market. Hat I did you go down to Waco. No my wife went. Oh really yeah. I love that swag and she at the trip. Do you like the fixer. Upper show. Actually do yeah. I'll beautiful Jason. You're getting your Michael Setup Bucky Bucky. How're you doing my friend? Good good good. I how you doing this morning. I'm doing well. I'm excited to talk to you guys about Napoleon Hill. And they're going to be deep diving into the world of buying homes with Bucky cordray. It's going to be a laser show today so here so I want to ask you this. Dr Brecca mentioned that you. You know you're chiropractic a practic business. Dr Brek DOT COM is doing. Well imagine that you went to your wife. Today I have an opportunity to work for the Modern Day. Andrew Carnegie we'RE TALKING. We're working for the world's wealthiest man he's GonNa give me access to all the world's wealthiest people so that I can put together a book documenting. What I've learned the book's going to be called thinking grow rich. Think and grow rich. The only catch is I had to agree to work for free for a decade. How would that conversation go over seriously? How would that go over it? I think it would have gone okay until you said for a decade for a decade. Well I mean we've got some money in savings. I think she thinks secure. We're okay for a while but I don't think she thinks we're okay for a decade. Do you mean. Would that seem reasonable to have you read? Thinking grew rich. I Have Klay Would that seem reasonable for you to work for free for the world's wealthiest man for a decade in order to have access to all his wisdom. I mean it it. It absolutely would but being able to commit a whole decade for all my Gosh. Is this just.

"All this and more. So let's start art here with calling your leads when people fill out the form at Dr Brek Dot Com That would mean that they are trying to schedule their first I'm a I'm their first adjustment. And what does that cost the listeners. It doesn't cost them anything so their first exam is free. Correct net net. That is the exam The the X ray right and the adjustment right. Yes sir. Okay and I. It's free it's offering and Jason. Let's start start right there. Let's start right there. The no brainer If everybody could just do the no brainer. Wouldn't life be a better place. They would get so many more leads. So let's talk about this wreck most chiropractors. Dennis Doctors Lawyers People that we work with. Who are professionals like you right? They will not do a no brainer right. They just said I don't WanNa cheapen the brand And therefore even though they're top and Google they get far less leads. Then people like you. Who have a no brainer a deal? So good and so hot the world can simply not say no to who it talked about this. What encouragement would you have for anybody out? There who just doesn't want to implement a no brainer. I had been at that place before where I also didn't want on achieving my brand I didn't want to Come across differently than however you'd myself but As you said I mean when you put. It's something out there. That is so good. That people can't say no to then you have that many more opportunities to actually interact with people. So I'm interacting now with people that I would I have never met prior to doing no-brainer and so there is that I tried different calls to Action Previously and they didn't actually call anybody to action but now this does and so. We're getting leads that were I mean we understand that we also have to follow up those leads quickly because when people are hurting they want you know immediate response and so the the better. Your systems are to to reach back out to those people to connect with those people answer. The phones The better opportunity you have to actually interacting get those people in your door and have them become your patient your customer. I always Like to tell people this little fun little kind of rhyme. Jason is when you can't sell your business goes to hell. I don't know why that's always so fun for me to say or teach but it it is it's true and Dr Breakfast before you teamed up with a Tim Redmond for those who are not familiar with the story How long ago was it? When you teamed up with Tim Redmond over that Redmond growth if I remember right at two years now okay? Listeners know this we might team. We provide all the back end systems for Tim's clients do all the photography videography graphic design. We make the business plans and Tim helps implement that in and help clients lead them down the path and it's a really good relationship. How much have you grown since working with a coach as I've double you doubled? Yeah so you've doubled since working with the coach right. Yeah I mean we're we're just talking about you know a new record day but consistently. We're seeing you know twice as many patients as we did prior to this time. So You know prior to two years ago we were seeing on average about thirty five. Maybe forty patients In a day. So we're going to go rapid fire through all these teaching points. What would you say Dr Brecht Anybody Right now? It said somebody was in the studio right now Or maybe a guest will be on the phone line here in just a minute. Who who refuses to offer a no brainer deal? And they're and they're not getting leads. What would you say to them if they absolutely refuse to? Yeah it's it's weird because they're out there paying coaching you. Tell them they need to make no brainer. But they just won't do it. What would you say handicapping yourself? You're shooting yourself in the foot. If you're you're not gonNA be coach than I don't understand why you have a coach Oh man so Yeah I mean I just I. It's a proven system. I talked to two patients since about this all the time. Yeah there are a lot of ways to go about losing weight. There's a lot of systems that you can use to lose weight So whether that be like a weight watchers Jenny Craig. These systems have worked for other people. And if you implement the systems they work and so you know you're just handicapping yourself within the system. If you're only using part of it so I would say jump in with both feet and absolutely you know. Apply what you're learning Apply what you're being told. Follow the proven path. Because if you are are then it's just a matter of time to find that success. Now Jason on page one thirty nine of the boom book we talk about sales and a lead comes in. We have to call the leader. What yeah it's called the same lead over and over and over to why because typically people aren't going to answer on the first go around let's say why decide to because they I don't know the number now? Let's talk about this. I was talking about this just last night with my beautiful wonderful bribe. We were talking about this. There's a phenomenon right now. The average person has over a thousand emails and their inbox and the average person. No longer listen to voicemails els drew and the average person occasionally checks facebook messenger and the average person. Now this is just it just happened a few months ago. It's it's crazy it's become a new thing. The average person doesn't respond to text messages. Either and the average person does not respond to phone calls from numbers. They don't know so. How are you supposed to reach the average person seriously? We're just we're just talking about this because we have a very dear friend who reached out to us and and said Hey let's get together and do ABC One-two-three and we said let's let's planet and so we're calling the guy and a pretty consistently you know like once once wants a day and he calls me back out of the blue and says hey. Where have you been calling you text messages I called? You texted probably this ten times a not matter. Anything he goes oh man. I don't check the text messages anymore. Because I'm on these group taxed and I get so many I just quit checking So how are we to reach the adverse sir. I mean that is the question so Dr Break. What would you say to listener out there? Who just refuses to call the same lead until somebody fills out your form right? uh-huh what would you say that. The average person who does not want to call their lead on a consistent basis I mean why would you advertise. If you don't WanNa follow up on it. I mean why do you put yourself out there to to have business or service or have a product that you're trying to sell if you're not going to Jason. Why is up on that? "Yes yes yes and yes Dr Brek what the heck how are you doing sir. I'm gray man. How are you doing? I am fired up about today. Have you a breakfast having a great weekend. You look like you've been having having great weekend I have I have. We've had a ball. What kind of stuff have you as you as breakfast been up to so right now this season alive? We've got cheerleading every Saturday morning in every Saturday we've got to cheerleaders second. Well we've got three but Yesterday we had a second grader and a fourth grade game to attend and Cheer Four. So you're attending in games when your kids are cheering for football team. Yup and we had two wins to win dip. Okay in Oklahoma state. Didn't play so. That was a win. Win A win for America Jason. You're looking good today. Did you have a good Saturday. I did okay. Highlights do you have the highlights. Were I got over over. Three hundred products made for elephant in the room in the spring and half hour record. That's a win right there but After that I had like a really nice relaxing afternoon with my wife I got my dog groomed and she looks the best she's ever looked and the best thing I could take away was I wasn't you got your dog groomed. Okay Oh yeah. She's looking looks like a polar bear. Now yeah the big highlight was. I introduced my wife to Wesley Snipes Blade two. Never seen it so really. That was. That's how was it received great great actually okay. Surprisingly wins all around now divorced. Okay Nice Nice. Now we have a question from a thriving here who I'll kind of read the the description of what he's asking here and I don't have the actual question that was asked to one of our coaches Indus- it's been relayed to me but this is the main question he's wanting to. I know how to get his employees to get more work done how employee's his guys quote unquote to be more productive on the job. He's grown from having a couple of guys on his team last year. Now having thirteen guys working on jobs and I'm going to lay out some specific instruction for this person and then Dr Brick you could Explain maybe why this would be hard to do. Okay all right what industries. And he's he's in construction remodeling and construction that sound so step number one in Jason Appeal type these on the show notes here so number one is we want to define the expectations -tations so Dr Bracelets Dot Com. We're now in your offices and your chiropractor when you define the expectations that your team has. Why is that part art difficult to do just to define expectations? What because there had to be a time in your business at some point Before you became successful where you had people on your team not doc getting their work done or not being very productive and you have to define expectations talked to us about the difficulties of defining expectations. For the first time I think Really really for me. For the first time it's about Still trying to be likeable and non wanting to be the heavy And coming down with the Iron Fist And I kind of you you you find that balance of how much assertiveness and and you know coming down hard yup versus just really being a better leader by giving them a clear path and That's what I think I had initially failed to do was give them a clear path as to what I do expect. What is supposed to be done what I'm going to measure what I'm GonNa follow up on so you're saying that being likable Was it was tough because he was burns. You worried about being likable right Jason. I think we have a boom book over there by the printer her and if we don't it could be a short research project. But if you have it I would encourage you to grab it. Bring it over here but if you don't it's okay. But for our listener I would encourage you to go to thrive time show dot com Tom and click on the podcast button. And then you'll see that the boom book Rican download that book and I would recommend you have a copy of that book because Dr Breakfast said is one hundred percent true through one hundred percent of the time and I have found that it's easier. It's easier if you just resolve in your mind that you're not going to be liked but you you are not going to mistreat people but if you just put in your mind that being liked is not essential to success so let me give you a sample break. Yup You have kids I. How did I know that your kids would never violate the BRECK rules? Never but only my family with my kids. Your family's perfect but I have found that whenever I tell. Tell my kids. Hey we're not gonNA eat any ice cream no ice cream And eat ice cream. They did this anymore but back in the day you would say. Don't eat ice cream. And then they would Jason when I disciplined my kids and I said okay because you have violated the rules and you clearly knew the expectations. This consequence is going to happen. Do you think that they were big fans of me as I was laying down the law of course not nobody really likes cause and effect especially if they knew what you're saying saying that my kids don't like discipline I would venture to say yes now. You have managed the elephant in the room stores to put it in perspective respective to for our listeners. Out there you've managed thousands of customers to and dozens of employees at different locations. What kinds of Moments during the work day where a member of the team might not like you when you hold them accountable to the expectations. Well for instance. Let's say if there is like a lull and this kind of goes back to Myburgh answer to his question is if we are ever experiencing like toward the end of the month to get super slow. All of our members have already come in the first week two to three weeks so in that last week gap. It's really really slow. So people KINDA WANNA stand around for another station back and forth. Check their phone. But we have these massive checklists saying hey we have panellinio time to clean so I need you to have time to. What if we have time to lean? We have time to clean come on now. That's so continued. Yeah and so all just hand. I'm a checklist and say. Hey I need you to do this this and this and you're not busy so new to do this this and this and they're like well how can we can't just have a break and the vast majority of our team is great. Yeah but there are certain certain people that don't want to get the work done even when they know the expectations right so I want to read this notable to our listener from page one sixty three of the boom book which reads from John. D Rockefeller the world's wealthiest man during his lifetime. He reads he He wrote the ability to deal with people is as purchaseable a commodity as this sugar or coffee and I will pay more for that ability than any other under the sun. So one defined the expectation step one but just note as it has a thought here. It's going to be difficult because people will not like you win. You enforce the policies now step to clearly define the uh-huh carrots and sticks clearly define wh- the good things the bad things that will happen to you when you get your work done right now. I Work Construction Abrek. Have you ever worked in construction about half. What kind of construction did you do? Well so my dad. He was the superintendent of schools. And so anytime there is a work project or some kind of renovation. He just sorta volunteered. My young back For the hard labor part so we did concrete-block like cinder block construction stuff projects I got to be the one who carried a move the blocks so we did some Ditch digging literally Put in a sprinkler system in the football field and then some concrete which. I really really don't like you know. been over and it makes me appreciate Chiropractic all the more now see I did concrete where we would pour the basement Swede. Poor the We get if these big aluminum forms they were about Six feet tall. Maybe maybe seven feet tall Their aluminum and you assemble them on footings that have been poured into into a whole. That was about ten feet deep in Minnesota because we reporting basements and my job was to help Cut All the rebar and help erected the forms and then they could pour the concrete on Crete in those structures. That was my job and I had an incredible Boston. Peter and Peter would let us know that we could make perp Atkinson a long long time but approximately it was like two hundred dollars per basement that we poured or ten dollars an hour and so we had deep thoughts. What's like what does this mean and you know so? Some guys couldn't stand the fact that we got two hundred dollars per basement. They would rather just make ten dollars an hour. Sure and I pointed out to him like a couple of guys and I wasn't a leader at all I was just a guy on the crew but I was pointing out towards the new guys. Guys Look we can make twenty dollars an hour if we go double the speed and it's very possible to get paid two hundred dollars every ten hours if we just go faster and I would say the vast majority of the people on the team. You did not like the rules. They didn't like that idea. He gave us the opportunity to double our income and he didn't give us the opportunity. Said this is you could make ten an hour or two hundred dollars per poor and so I am going to now via decree. I'm now going to tell you that's it's GonNa work. You're not going to get paid two hundred dollars per poor and the reason why is because I don't want you spending twenty four hours doing something that we could easily get done in ten right and the vast the majority of the people on our crew did not want the carrot Jason. Why do you think an elephant the room you can get bonuses for gathering objective reviews? Oh Yeah for selling memberships for up selling products up serving products for you get tipped. Actually if people are happy you get more but even though there are carrots why why do some people now the vast majority of our team at this point because we have done the group interview for years. We have a great team now but by default why do the vast majority of people all not want accountability. Well one some people. Just don't like vegetables. I think when it comes to like the whole like incentives. Listen you're being able to pursue the carrot. You're dangling joke homer time place oh Why people don't want the people just don't like okay okay? I didn't hear that he'll love. It deserved okay. Continue sorry about that but now When it comes to like the incentives like two hundred dollars an hour or two hundred dollars I was per job? Doubling your pages for.

"Not Tracking is like smacking and it will cause your business to get a shellacking. You must know your numbers. I grab the duct tape and mentally. Prepare yourself for yet. Another mind expanding knowledge bomb from America's number one business coach. Clay Clark know your numbers not tracking is like smacking and it will cause ause you to get a shellacking. What is the shellacking? Jason Abuse the define a shellacking. 'cause we all know what a beatdown is. We all know what what it's like to get hit. We all know what it's like to get punched in the arm by that buddy in middle school without is hilarious to punch in the arm dead arm but shellacking a how would you have. I think a shellacking slacking is something that only a mother can give you. Would you describe what a shellacking looks like in your in your opinion. I'm trying to picture it. The shock that I know is like when you get a manicure. Well you're on your off your doctor. Have you ever is a kid. Got A shellacking from your mom and dad or your mom specifically. I was a really pretty good kid so no not not really. But I've seen what I believe to be. Let me tell you what down with the well. Let me let me tell you what shellacking looks like. This is my My wife Great Lady. Wonderful Lady. my son he he he he likes to push her to a level called the the he pushes her into No-go zone. Right scale of one to ten. Ah Ten is where mom gets mad. He goes to fourteen and he's attended gets in the end zone. He's now he's passed the ten he and his mind is scored because he wanted to irritate her and now he has irritated her and now he's doing an end zone dancing. Whoa yeah look at me? I'm crazy I'm making you crazy. I'm up in your mind causing union upset. You know he just this but then here comes the shellacking. I've always seen in a couple of times but we can't speak of what happens on the radio. Guys say is that pain is inflicted upon on man he goes from being the man harassing my wife to the man. Afraid of my wife and that fear has stayed with him now and he cannot escape the a fear now. This is what happens when business owners don't look at their numbers is what they do is. They're running around. They got a credit card and wreck. You could tell me if I'm off on my game on this but the business owner is busy case. You're a chiropractor you're busy. Let's say seeing patients. Let's say train dogs. You're you're you're busy training dogs. Let's say you're a new haircuts. You're busy cutting hair. Managing the people that cut the hair. You're you're busy opened the door shut and the door locking the door cleaning the bathrooms advertising. And then you don't get your numbers for a year or six months or something and then somethin- then doesn't go right right. Maybe a slow month sudden surprise. You read a slow month all of a sudden with your chiropractic business back in the day. Do you ever have slow July. Or you're what times of the year are typically the slowest for most chiropractors December two people if they're coming in with Any kind of discretionary spending as this is an idea You know it's definitely necessary and should be utilized by by everyone but some people have it more in their discretionary income area and they shift at spinning towards presence in gift giving and holiday parties. And then just get busy. Jason with the elephant in the room are men's grooming lounge with four thousand some odd members a what's the slowest time of the year that you've managed all three stores for for a couple years you in the stores. What's the slowest time in the men's grooming industry? Do you think so right. After spring break starts pretty dead right after spring break Why one of the like the later high school or college kids are all gone for that week And then guys typically go on vacation with their family or they'll use that time to get the other stuff done so what happens is is our certain cyclical times of a business where you get slow. And if you're a new entrepreneur and you're not aware of those times of the year right and you're redlining Mesnier spending as much as you're bringing in that you're trying to do fast growth right eventually. What's going to happen? Dr Brek if you don't no your numbers if you look at your credit card statements if you don't look at the income actually coming in If you look at how much is coming in after credit card fees. If you don't know what your actual actual expenses are your lease after utilities right after utility you if you don't remember when you the space you're thinking about seventeen hundred a month right. Oh It's twenty five hundred. What am Oh okay okay? Great but then there's fees right I mean your your phone bill brick. What care do you use Cox talks? What about for your for your cell phone your smartphone eighteen? Okay my wife says. At and T.. And I don't WanNA throw a team under the bus I'm just going to give an example I think. At and T.. Has a deal take ninety nine bucks for the line. It's ninety nine bucks in the deal. Remember that deals like ninety nine bucks or Sir Unlimited Jason. You heard about that deal if mobile. Who Do you have to mobile? Yeah and isn't it like ninety nine inbox or something is supposed to be the flat rate quotations for one specifically for unlimited data phone wherever and then what happens is you look at your bill and how much is actually after all the all the fees. There's a usage fee. These are these from T. mobile they're like taxes usage fee. There's no set up the phone fees. And how much is the phone Bill Jason. What's your phone bill right now? I think you're one fifty one fifty one forty thirty. Yeah I'd say sixty one sixty one. I've got a couple of lines added in there. I mean it's at least one fifty I feel like mine's like one fifty one sixty But if you look at your numbers you think it's ninety nine dollars. Yeah it's amazing that means you're going out to dinner. You're doing rough math you know and you don't really get your bank. Statements like ninety nine dollars is when it costs one hundred fifty in the bank right there fifty one. Let's go buy some Don't realize the fees there's there's extra fees your lease you think your lease two thousand thousand a month but really really I mean. You're Lisa's actually. After utilities air conditioning heat air water. It's more Oh yeah definitely when you think. Kind of optimistic are minor we right. I have very few entrepreneurs are skeptical about their numbers. Typically only only the successful ones things like this. I will the thing that unfortunately some people have to get a shellacking Ryan to experience. Let me out to eat with somebody. WHO's new to go out to eat? And they're they're they're a fan of the old smacking move going out for like a stage and you're like I'm not trying to throw a daryl under the bus there. Daryl could you. Could you pass the salt outback. Let's say and Darryl's like yeah you're I'll make and then he's a guy who uses his fingers for Non Finger Foods so daryl's over there like Kinda Kinda handy with the steak and there are certain foods. What are your remind Dr Breakfast Foods that are finger foods finger foods would be Like Buffalo Wings Fried Chicken and there's no classy with the Buffalo Wing. There's really not know fork and knife with the Buffalo Wings doesn't work okay. So I'M GONNA make a list of these real quick. I'm at this is very important stuff. The finger foods. We got what we make getting. We would say buffalo wings are a kind of finger food okay and Buffalo Wings by the way come from Buffalo New York ORC. So that's a it's not a part of the actual Bison This is getting deep now so I guess we'll get the bigger foods we got the hot wings. What what what else do you got there? Jason what else is a bona fide. French fries are a finger. Food now was French fries. TATER tots Mitch is. Okay Tater tots what else. What else is a finger food? Hot Dogs Hot. Okay okay. Could you hold the hot dog and your I mean now what if a no bun is it a finger food. Then I'm going I'm going to fort. Okay Okay Yeah so we've got certain foods that are sort of like we know that these things are finger food one hundred. Green beans are not fingered. Now this is what I'm trying to put in the minds kinds of people out there somebody out there not tracking their numbers. I feel the way about a unit tracking your numbers. How I feel about people that are finger having having figure foods that aren't finger foods like I I've seen people eat like eggs With their fingers. That's okay I'm going. No that's out to eat with with your buddy Darrell and his wife. And you're like Darrell. Could you pass the salt and OPN absolute like. He's like eating soup with his hand or something you know he's eating like I'm serious. It's like crazy stuff people that do that stuff and you we all socially go hatched terrible. I can't believe that you know Jason can you Let's keep up the big screen on the big screen. Just went out and make sure I get a visual. So there's are some people though. There are some people that again they mistake. Certain foods for for being finger foods and certain foods to not be fingered and the way that we all feel when. Somebody's smacking Irwin somebody. Who's just doing weird stuff? We've all been out to dinner with the guy who crosses the align with every statement right so we all out to dinner and we're having dinner with other families and we're having a nice say we take our family out to Olive Garden where it all garden and all of a sudden you hear in the background somewhere and so they had sex. And you're like what what you could repeatedly your mind. Picks up on that phrase. Everyone looks around like Aku said that. Right Right WE'RE GONNA go to dinner. Someone like that. Oh yes absolutely and so again. It's kind of a repulsive thing you look back at them and you go come mind man. It's this elephant in the room where I cannot believe. You think that's a finger food. Why are you talking about healing? That is what it's like to not track your numbers except nobody can see you not tracking your numbers and you won't feel the pain of not tracking your numbers until something bad happened and Dr Break. What are some some of the bad things that have happened in the history of Dr Brek Dot com as it relates to? Maybe you know.

"Why why because we value learning and earning and we know that if we educate our listeners and teach them something they did not know they'll come out ahead And Steve You've I've seen this but to the group interviewed. We have people that are willing to come work with me for last because they want to learn something. You've seen this before someone right now. That's working as an unpaid intern for the WANNA learn. Learn from you because he wants to learn. So so let's move on to the next fun factoid out there but before we do that I want to make this actionable. Are People Willing Willing to work for you for less. And if not it's probably because you're not a source of wisdom it's just fun factoid. Number Number Seventy Five Bill Belichick fun fact fact number seventy five the Patriot Way Jason. Bill Belichick makes practice harder than games. ooh read the notable Cordoba for US Jason. So Bill Says My personal coaching philosophy. My mentality has always been to make things as difficult as possible for players in practice however bad we can make them. I make them. Why do you think that is Glenn? Howard why do you think that a good? 'cause you play baseball to very high level you could throw the baseball and the nineties as a pitcher. Why do you think bill checks practices harder than the Games? uh-huh yeah there's a saying you'll always fall to the lowest level of your training so if you're prepared and training in a tougher harder more physically and challenging environment and then when you get out on the playing field you're GONNA be prepared for that. I think there's a lot of business owners. Dr Breakfast that have call Reps. People answer their phones. ABC This a lot. People ahead of employees we answer the phones customer. Service people and Steve. I don't think a lot of people role play with thirteen about the difficult stuff. I think a lot of people I know by default when I built DJ CONNECTION DOT com. And I first started. I did not do that but now I roll play for the tough stuff. I roll play for the weird things that need the upset customers. Talk to me about that. Steve the importance role playing with your team over there over the total and concepts we record all our calls. And that's the reason we do. That is so that we can take real world. Examples of what people are what are teams teams dealing with and use that for training and then we hang onto the hot calls even from the past and have them in a kind of a library for people to go and listen to for for training purposes. But I think probably the most nerve wracking thing for most people is listening to themselves. Mocking are being on the phone. Phoned and so it Helps you get over that fear lot quicker when on you know day one week one at Tuesday at noon you have to get in front of you know the entire our team and have them listen to your horrible call and critique you because most people don't well no one gets on the phone and his amazing The the first time they do it. I have a bill bill. Check a sound clip here from the Providence Journal. The this video was posted a year ago. But if you remember in new New England and it snows a lot yes and the patriots have a huge indoor facility like a minute like a miniature dome and Bill Bell Check check total the players by the way you have to be at practice. I don't care what the weather's like you have to be there and there's no snow days on the Patriots. You have to be there but also they tend to play games outside in the snow so he had the players go outside. They really have an indoor facility to avoid the elements outside in practice in the snow. Here's the audio break. You gotta see this footage this is gonNA. Oh boy. I don't think can see over there. It's like you gotta see this. This is impressive. All these patriots are coming to practice. Please guys oh so so good in.

"Jim By the way. If you look at Bill Belichick you'll discover that. He is fiercely loyal very very voile to. Why does that say a lot about somebody? Dr Breakfast Bill Bell Check will not take an endorse me. Won't take a free car for Mercedes right or from Lexus or from Lamborghini. He will only drive a Volvo from his college friend they bought from the he buys from his college friends dealership. Why does it speak to bill spell check as well? I think it comes back to trust. I mean loyalty is such a loss characteristic currently especially in our current society Eddie and so Yeah I love I love that quality You know because when you when you have that loyalty then you have a greater amount of trust and the next thing you know I mean. This guy's there's a limit on that relationship. Now I wanNA tell the listeners a little fun factoid. That's not one of our fun factor. It's Jason I know so much about Bill Belichick just ahead bill. belichick favorite restaurant is mission mission barbecue. All right miss in Annapolis which is home of the Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland. Do you know why it's his favorite restaurant mission barbecue off the food's good but why does he like it probably they sing the national anthem every single day at lunch. I'll stop the restaurant and they sing the national anthem and He loves that. Yeah because they're on a mission and they're standing up for what's right for our military and his father was in the military but bill belichick did one of his first sit down interviews which Dr Rick. You'd love that interview but he did that interview with at mission barbecue right to give his friends restaurant good. Pr So the only sit down interview. He's done a long time is at mission Barbecue Jason. Why did he say it has to be there? The first sit down interview. Yeah because it was an environment that he enjoyed that he was comfortable in kind of right it also did. He want to endorse them. Yes his friends business to get his friend ahead of time or did he become his friend because he liked his restaurant. My understanding is he became his friend because he liked the the restaurant and he liked how patriotic but he went out of his way to give his friend good pr. He doesn't get paid to do it. He did not get paid endorsement. That you could hardly afford right right now. Jason let's go to our next fun fun fact Twitter Next Fund Bill Belichick fun fact. What from fact number sixteen the Patriots way doing time to help stop crime from the eleventh things you might not know about bill? belichick article BELLICHIK uses his offseason time to do humanitarian work and he's particularly interested in rehabilitation of of our incarcerated population. BELLICHIK has worked with former. NFL Great Jim Brown on the Amer. I can program leaning aid and support to prisoners as as well as paying visit paying visits to gang members for talks on how to avoid violence. Why does he do that? And why did you just discover that he does that. Mean why is is it that nobody knows about that. Why does he did what? What do you think Jason I would say one? He does it because he is. He's a coach at heart areas. Wants to be able to coach people no matter what their situation is why he takes an undrafted people he finds value in them and he is that one source that one person saying you can do it here the tools cool to do it. Here's how you can get better. You don't have to be stuck where you're at and the second answer to that is why people don't know about it because he doesn't get on social media and Brag about it. He does it for a good reason. Patriots Patriots. Fat Fun factory number. Seventeen bill belichick fun fact number seventeen the Patriot way too busy. Winning Games in video games. What he got here Jason Fans of the long-running Madden? NFL videogame series. Might be perplexed whenever they call up the Patriots head coach. It's never Belgium. What it's never ballots? Okay continue but in in animus character named Josh more sometimes the more generic in e coach is used for a game officially licensed it's strange decision while belichick typically avoids queries as to y one possible. Answer might be the fact that he hasn't joined the NFL Coaches Association. Quick time out he's the only. NFL coach was not a member of the NFL Coaches Association Now if he was a member he would get paid a percentage of the madden revenue. Okay so he'd make a couple hundred thousand dollars a year every year if he would. I just signed the piece of paper But you know why. He's not a member of the Coaches Association for Equity I'm guessing they have certain guidelines. He doesn't agree with one follow. He wants to be it you he doesn't want to be your friend he knows them. Share Ideas He doesn't he's not sentimental about being a member of a fraternity of coaches. He wants to beat you. He wants to trip when you're walking. He wants to beat you. He and that's what he's looking to do So it wouldn't make any sense for the head of the Israeli military to hang hang out with the head of the Palestinian military and go over game plans right nor it makes sense for me to serve on a board. That is run by my competition so you have a business. It's called all the fiduciary duty to not if you say of partner Okay and the two of you team up to start elephant in the room together. I as a partner in the elven room hair business business. I Have A FIDUCIARY AKA a legal duty to not compete with myself to not aid in a bet my competition. So That's how bill views it he will. He doesn't feel the need to team up with you. If you're a company breath why do you not sit down with other chiropractors every single day and share with them your plans again. I want to win but could you. I mean did you ever it calls for chiropractors like hey do you want to say a lot of commodity with You know I mean in medical school a lot of times you've probably heard stories about how it's really cutthroat it all depends on. You WanNa be first in your class and your residency depends on your ranking in the class. In chiropractic school is very different it's definitely definitely more collaborative We don't see one another typically as much as competition Because we have a greater mission to extend chiropractic in the wellness model across across the board to greater amount of the population a nationwide level. You're trying to team up right but the guy across the street no now bill fun fact number eighteen the Patriot way. Bill does not waste time with unnecessary technology. Jason does not waste time with unnecessary technology. Read it to us fun factoid. From pre phone number eighteen from the mental floss article police having been involved in football since watching his dad in the nineteen fifties. BELLICHIK isn't one to abandon her or isn't one to abandon what works after trying some tablets to arrange his plays and other data on the sidelines. Belichick was seen smashing one to the ground in October. Two Thousand Sixteen Sixteen. Sorry common as you probably noticed. I'm done with the tablets. He told me there's just too. Are there just to undependable for me. I'm going to stick with pictures. which several of our other coaches do as well because there just isn't enough consistency in the performance of the tablets? I just can't take it anymore. here we go. This is billy in seasons recent recent the NFL has certainly cracked down on any tremendously outward displays of emotion on the field. So what about this. You'll you'll notice patriots coach Bill Belichick just.

"With the man. The Myth the legend Dr Brick. Rick how are you sir. How excited to have you on the show today? I'm excited about a great. Many things excited to get into today's topic which is can. Can you teach fish to climb trees Elon. Musk versus Tom. Brady are you versus everybody nobody else. Let's let's let's talk about this. There's a neat thing that was created back when I was in college called Napster which allowed you to download files commercials absolutely download files. That was kind of a NEAT NEAT nifty thing and it changes the music industry right and then there's this thing that came out a little bit later called facebook book All right now facebook. I I don't like facebook. I'm not into facebook. I don't WanNa go on facebook. I'm Kinda Bill Belichick as relates to facebook. But I think it's very important for you the listener to understand what facebook instagram twitter youtube. What what they've done to you and if it's a good thing great and if it's a bad thing it's okay when I want you to be aware of and let's have this conversation for a second? FACEBOOK essentially allows you to be perpetually actually distracted in a great game called comparison and Jealousy. So let's let's give it example. Let's say that my good friend friend. Dr Breakfast is on facebook. And my good friend Jason's on facebook. Now Jason. You just got married right. I did and he got married. And what is your wife's name. Her name is Alexis Alexis. The Lexus is a very kind person. Beautiful Lady Great Lady. Nice Person Okay so you get married to Alexis and your photos turned out. Great Andrew took photos. I'm Andrew used to work for us when I owned epic photos now. Andrew decided to volunteer to take photos for you and the photos turned out great all there. So they're really. They really did great. You picked it's a great place you got married. I'm getting married at the botanical gardens. Which is a beautiful location Can you explain to the listeners. What that location looks like? It's like a massive park with a a bunch of plants and flowers and fountains and flowing just streams giant pond and the upkeep is. I don't know like what they pay the groundskeepers but they should be paying them. Like a crapload because these guys do a great job like everything is just pristine it is it really is a wonderful facility and and did this just in. It's nicer than most people's backyards. So what happens is though is some people not not you not not you have other people. I'm sure it's not our listeners. But some people then began to see. See your photos on facebook of of your wife and you and they start to go. I wish my life was that good. Because it's like it because that's a great time and left to get married great photos with this or they start to say. I wish my wedding photos were that good right. I wish my photos would have turned out that good. I wish my I alive. Would Dr Breakfast. Okay he's like Donna's he's a fitness guru. He's a he's a chiropractor he's a great guy and so Dr Brac you know no. He's on facebook just doing his life ready doing maybe they post highlights of a birthday or a party or something positive but then someone else goes. Oh God I'm not as fit as him And they feel bad so then people go on facebook and they're like well before I post this photo myself. I'm going to change the angle of the camera because this angle shoot up or even straight on. What kind of fat? If I shoot down I looked kind of thin so I wanted to change. It can go ahead real quick before we take the photo. Can I just change real quickly. And and then we have little filters we can. There's little filters do you change the filter. 'cause you want to remove any impurities any type of thing that would make you look normal. They make you look like a real person because we don't WanNa look like a real person we want to look like. We're a super person because we don't want to be real real we WANNA be. We want to be better than real. And so what happens. Is We start to compare. So what are we talking about. We're talking about. Is that you listening today. Have a gift. I believe that you weren't a mistake. I believe that you were born with a purpose and you have a gift and I don't know what the Gift Tis but I do know that you have a gift purpose and you were born to do something well. I don't know what it is. I don't know maybe you were born to be a chiropractor. Maybe you were born to be a great musician. Maybe you were born to be. I don't know drummer. Maybe you're you're born to be great baker. A great mom great dad. Maybe you're born to be a great dentist but if you were born to be a fish and then I teach you how to climb a tree if you attend my tree climbing school and I'm trying to teach you Mr fish to climb a tree. You're not going to do well and Jason. Why would have fish not do well in my tree climbing schools? Well it could be due to lack of arms or opposable thumbs. The fact that he's.

"And then you hold onto it for ten years. Don't you? Yes. The by the box, right? You wanna start playing with the box. But I mean, okay now, Google Google. Jason why do you like Google and not Yahoo? Google takes me exam. Where I need to go. And they just they found a way to figure out their algorithm toward their faster and just overall better. And I don't have to get news updates about random crap. I don't care about right? That's huge for me. I don't wanna go on the internet black hole. And I don't even wanna know what's going on with most things. I mean, I don't wanna know. I don't want the negativity of the world to block out what I'm searching for. And I really don't care about who's upset about Trump Obama. I just want search for Tulsa dog training and find a good trainer for my dog. Every time you log on. It's just that beautiful graphic. They don't Swami with terrorist attacks or what people voting for. It's great. It's unbelievable. It's that's the kind of stuff you're going to find with the companies that Bill Campbell coached now principal. We'll let me read the notable quotable here from Bill Campbell this Bill Campbell. This article is featured in Forbes, and I will make sure I put a Lincoln the show. It says first of all I don't really take the company to coach unless the founder is passionate and really wants to create something durable. Once you get the founder and the CEO. Oh, you just want to find out. What makes them tick? You're trying to understand what they want to get out of their management team. Then you try to spend time with the team and then put processes in place. I'm not going to tell Larry page and Sergei Brin. How do their search engine algorithms that Google I'm just I'm just trying to bring what they're doing to life? So think about that. He's not getting in there as a coach and saying this is how you should code your website. And what he's doing? He's he's saying, hey, let's get the management team rolling in the same direction. That's what he would do now principle. Number two is trust your managers and make sure they trust their subordinates, Dr brick. What does that mean trust issues? I mean, you've got to you've got to trust that everybody knows their job is doing their job, and and that flows from the top all the way down. So I mean, you know, in that you've got the managers, and then the people below but starts at the top. I don't know if anybody can relate to this. But I can guts terrible when you have somebody doing management, and you don't trust that they're actually doing their job. Right. It's awful. It is awful go in steps to to prevent that. With the you know video cameras surveillance giving more security, and then also the call recording. I agree with Dr breakfast said you put in the call recording clarity voices a program we recommend you put in the video cameras. I agree with all. That. And I wanted to pile on with this Jason elfin the room if we have to write somebody up for, you know, breaking a policy where do we have to put that file we send that immediately as soon as as soon as it's been signed by who it's being documented for by the management and by third party. So we can just verify all the information. We immediately upload that to our disciplinary folder in dropbox. Now, I can tell you this though, I've had situations before where I've had to deal with unemployment situation. And I go to look for the files. Right. And they're not there. And I asked the manager. Hey, where are these? And they say I forgot that really kills trust. Because I have to go back verify every time just as recently as yesterday. I was looking for some core source documents on dropbox and a member my teams like, oh, yeah, they're they're they're they're yes. Yes. And they're not there. And so that's tough. And that's why you just gotta trust but verify trust but verify 'cause if you just blindly trust really put you in a bad situation when you assume it makes a at of U N me notable quotable from Bill Campbell coming in hot..

So if you're not strategically putting people in place, man, you're going to be so stressed out ceiling fan fucking mentality. You can't scale you're not going to be true of. Some of it's been just been afraid to invest in myself a little bit go look at the at the biggest comics biggest comics biggest guys in sports bit is look at the biggest motherfuckers, right? He's not fucking slick knows. Hey, I can go on have a platform or him. But I'm gonna add value to THEO and take some stress off him. That's his value. That's how he stays in that position in the more value that he adds he needs to look at your life and say okay have to wear multiple hats as I'm next to do. Right. And so let me take some stuff off his plate and that will ever forever. Solidify him being with you. Right. And what does that do it increases platform? Right. He's looking into the distance.
