Democrats and Zuckerberg Had a Plan for Georgia, Republicans Didn't

"25 of the 26 cities and counties that receive the $1 million from Zuckerberg center for technology and civic life were one by Biden in 2020. The ten largest center for technology civic life grants in Georgia are the following Fulton Cobb gwinnett da cab. Clayton Douglas Cherokee won by Trump, Henry N muskeg. By mispronouncing of them, I'm sorry. I don't live in Georgia. The 9 out of ten of the biggest counties received massive money from Zuckerberg in fact Fulton county and Cobb county and gwinnett county received a combined $15 million. From the Zuckerberg center for technology and civic life for the actual administration of election. I know a lot of you are saying how on earth is this possibly legal, while the attorney general of Georgia didn't think to do anything about this? The Secretary of State Brad raffensperger was perfectly fine with this. Governor Brian Kemp signed a consent degree of Stacey Abrams that allowed the downfall of Georgia to occur. The federalists continues by saying the center for technology and civic life demanded the promotion of universal mail in voting through suspending election laws, extending deadlines that favored mail in over in person voting. I just want to reemphasize this. You have a private company or corporation or nonprofit funded with $420 million that comes in and demands the suspension of the law. Where the state legislatures this was in my opinion, one of the sneakiest, Treacher at most treacherous and deceitful actions but honestly, the state legislatures in Georgia, they did not meet in the summer of 2020 best of my knowledge about election integrity at all. The summer leading up to the election they should had a special session in July, they should have said hold on a second, we need to have a pregame meeting here. We gotta have a huddle. And this goes to show how weak incompetent and spineless the Republican Party is.

The History of US Presidential Transportation

"First us president of any sort to fly in an airplane was theodore roosevelt. It was rather short flight as airplanes at the time didn't have a very long range and it was probably one of the more dangerous. Flights ever attempted by president sitting or former come over after this short sightseeing flight. Us presidents didn't do any flying. It would be another thirty three years before an actual sitting. Us president would get on an airplane. The first airplane designated for presidential use was purchased in nineteen thirty three it was a douglas dolphin amphibious aircraft and it was operated by the us navy as there was no air force at the time. The co name. It was given was r d two. It could seat four passengers and there was a small sleeping compartment. The interior was custom made for presidential use with leather seats. It was stationed at the anacostia naval airbase in washington. Dc until nineteen thirty nine and during that time it was never once used by the president to be fair. Fdr was in a wheelchair and getting in and out of an airplane especially a small amphibious plane was probably something that he wasn't keen to do however he did eventually take a flight the very first airplane flight by a sitting. Us president took place on january. Eleventh nineteen forty-three when franklin roosevelt flew on. The dixie clipper was a commercial boeing. Three fourteen clipper which was operated by pan. Am he flew fifty five hundred miles to the casablanca conference in morocco to meet with winston churchill and charles de gaulle. The flight was done in three stages any flu rather than took a ship because it was considered safer than risking german u boats in the atlantic after the trip the army air force didn't want to rely on commercial airlines for presidential transportation. They proposed the president. Use a modified. C eighty seven liberator express heavy bomber. The plane was dubbed the guess where to when the secret service reviewed the safety record of the plane. They rejected it. For presidential use. The plane was used for carrying the first lady. Eleanor roosevelt however on a trip to latin america. But it never carried the president. The secret service then approved a douglas. C fifty four skymaster which was a transport plane used in the war. It was named the sacred cow ended. Had sleeping quarters are radiotelephone and a lift for getting roosevelt in and out of the plane in his wheelchair. The only time you used it was to travel to the yalta conference in february of nineteen forty five. This plane is on display at the museum. At the wright patterson air force base outside dayton

I used to work for the dod also and from his accent. I could tell he was not a native american. We got to talking and he was an interesting person. A very kind nice person so i invited him to talk at my rotary club in falls church and he agreed and i helped him work out a powerpoint presentation he gave a talk at the rotary club but during one meeting and he also gave a talk at the thomas jefferson high school for science and technology interact club and he's really opened up with the high school students and had a very compelling and interesting story about his work in afghanistan for supporting our troops so needless to say you got to know him. "Continuing unleashed downpours over a region already saturated by heavy rain. Earlier today. The storm was located about 10 miles southwest of Hartford, Connecticut, was expected to produce heavy rainfall and flooding across areas of New England, New York, New Jersey and northeast Pennsylvania. Through tonight and into early tomorrow. Connecticut governor Ned Lamont says even though Andrea has been downgraded, people still need to take it seriously. Don't get complacent. Uh, As I said before, Sandy, I see those were not hurricanes, either because the terrain is so wet. You do have just a 40 50 or not dust. Knocks over trees, and that's why we're watching the power outage situations so carefully. In Tennessee, at least 22 people are dead and many more missing. After record setting rain caused devastating flooding that swept away homes up to 17 inches of rain fell in less than 24 hours, setting a new one day record for rainfall in the state. You Can't Handle the (Scientific) Truth!

"I am in the very fortunate position of being able to set the scene for tonight's debate and that's actually very easy. Because the scientific truth is forty-two diet nari according to date thought a supercomputer in douglas adams's hitchhikers guide to the galaxy that spent seven and a half million years competing the answer to the ultimate question of life the universe and everything the answer to that question and therefore the ultimate scientific truth is forty two so i mean i think we don russ semi point obvious. Is that often. The truth is not very helpful tight. The ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. That's mathematical constant. It's a scientific truth. And when it's expressed in decimal form it has an infinite number of decimal places but but the question is actually how are an infinite number of decimal places useful to us an approximation of twenty two seven three point. One pfoa is what we can actually use in practice. We don't need a want the truth. We want something we can apply to achieve what we need to solve problems to build things to ensure the well being of our children so tonight ice with my esteemed colleagues greta and jack we will convince you that the scientific truth is not helpful to humanity particularly now and arguably more than any other time in human history. The truth is not useful for tackling the global challenges that we currently face. Greta will show you how without optimism and hype in our scientific messaging about climate change. People retreat from the truth. They feel disempowered and helpless. Jack will round out argument by showing how the relationship between science and society is changing

Did not tell you that we should keep two thousand five hundred troops. Joe biden says no. No one said that to me that i can recall overplaying memory games now joe biden is so what is your name. How long have you been president. Who is your child very basic questions. Ono generals made that recommendation even mark milley. Who is the male military version of robin dangelo. Even said himself that he made that recommendation. Play cut seventy two whole hell of a lot more troops. Your top military advisers warned against join on this time line. They wanted you to keep about twenty five hundred or no they didn't it was split. That wasn't true. I wasn't true so no no one told. Your military visors not tell you know we should just keep twenty five hundred troops. It's been a stable situation for the last several years we can do that. We can continue to do that. No no one said that to me that i can recall that i can recall even though that was said to him according to mark milley. Let me. Just say a side note. You look at mark million lloyd austin. "Sally went to the mohawk institute residential school in brantford canada. And here's one incident that she remembers. We were at the marshall one week. It's were full the bugs and we had all our hair cut off. We were made baldi's we were really bold and That was a very good feeling to have so like sally sad. Her hair was shaved off and that was just the beginning of years of abuse that the school throw us in this dark room and tell us the rats were going to get us. But i didn't know. Then why i was being thrown in there and i used to wonder what did i do and i would cry. We cried and cried for hours in there. Not knowing who were in there and take us out. And when. I did get to learn a little bit of english. I knew then they were throwing us in there because we wouldn't speak english. Oh my god. It's awful yeah. It is still awful. It's just one example. Of what what. She endured there her interviews from a two thousand nine documentary called unseen tears. And that's by filmmaker ron douglas. So sally and hundreds of thousands of indigenous children in america and canada or sent to boarding schools just like mush hole and they were beginning to speak their language where traditional clothing practice their religion and a lot of times agency their families for years so it was a legacy of hardship and abuse. Former Virginia Gov. Douglas Wilder Slams Terry McAuliffe for Marginalizing Black Candidates

"Two years ago, Terry McAuliffe remember he's the bagman for the Clintons turned, McAuliffe called for all three persons occupying the offices of governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general to resign. All three Democrats. Governor Northam had been shown pictured in his school's yearbook in blackface and subsequent revelations by age Mark Herring acknowledged appearing in blackface in 1985. What is it with this black face and liberals and Democrats seriously? The media ran the story of two women accusing lieutenant governor Fairfax of sexual assault actually raped. Denied by Fairfax. But former governor McAuliffe within minutes thereafter proclaimed the accusations to be credible. I think incredible by the way Today. McAuliffe is asking people to vote for the attorney general who served as his attorney general and seeks the continuing a sport supportive Northam. No reasons have been given to the voters as to Terry's change of mind, nor has any reason being made why McCulloch felt compelled to violate Virginia's longstanding precedent. By choosing to run again against persons who had far more experience he means of the Democrat primary. Then he As he had never held elective office of any kind when he ran. All of the candidates he opposed, except one were black, including two women. Whom he felt not qualified to be given the chance that he'd been given at last report. Governor Northam is what drawn his apology for black face. Is what Northam and Herring did all right. By any standard is McCullum going to tell the voters of the credible evidence that he has relative to Fairbanks? Does this suggest? That if you're a black person in Virginia If you've got to think about who you're going to vote for it, then you ain't black. Stay tuned.

Thank you for your patients. What's on your mind? I have not heard anybody say or give a solution. For if they defund, what are they going to do when they have an active school shooting? Now? You know, down here in Florida? We found out that the Quote unquote Security guard ran the other way and head The sheriff's in Broward County, ran the other way and head and stayed outside while the shooting was good while the slaughter was going on in Parkland, Florida at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, not just a security guard, Cindy, but the actual sheriff's department led by Scott, Israel, who's trying to get reelected. A shooting shooting, which killed seventeen injured seventeen others, which is, again off the charts awful. So obviously one of the stories that came out of it was the school, the, the former sheriff who was a resource officer who was caught on video, there's videos all around the school. He was cowering behind so is hiding behind. I thought it was like a Clark. It might have been shootings going on. He backs away, and he hides behind whatever I that was a golf cart. Seventeen Pete had died now. His answer at the time was he said, yes, I'm having to live with this. But his answer was and still is I thought they were firecrackers, and I was trying to see if there was a sniper somewhere. K. I'm Colin Bravo. Okay, the guy was completely incompetent and did the wrong thing cops are in some cases incompetent and do the wrong thing happened in Beaumont. I ended up shooting a woman five times in the stomach because he handled it completely wrong. This guy has now been charged with seven counts of neglect of a child. I don't know why it seven because sixteen died, seventeen died three counts of culpable negligence and one count of perjury. Well, I can see the negligence charge. I get that. Okay. I can see that on just saying that the effect of that, if you're do apply that criminal standard to a cop screwing up, be careful what you ask for exactly that puts Yoenis back on the cops to say, okay, unless you're a less, you're you're one hundred percent shore and you're going to know you're going to give your life or whatever you're going.

"People who died young students staff members in the shooting at parkland, Florida at the Marjory stoneman Douglas high school exactly a year ago. And I wonder as you went around Aurora and spoke with the people of that town did the anniversary come up that did come up. You know, many many people were were. Just thinking about the immediate tragedy right there in their own hometown. But but it did come up talking to people. There's actually a resident of Aurora named Greg Zana's who long before this happened. He had gained some national renown for going out to mass shooting sites across the country and putting up crosses to memorialize the dead when I spoke to him yesterday. He pretty quickly brought up the fact that that we had just been morning. The people lost it at parkland. It just seems like America doesn't get a break. But. We never let something like this. What happened in our cone? You know, this is our town. Went up. Our streets are covered in blood. So that was Aurora resident Greg, Janice. Well, Patrick Smith of WBZ in Chicago. Thanks so much for being with us. Patrick. Thanks for having me. The national debt past twenty two trillion dollars this week the highest amount ever and deficit. Hawks aren't really screeching to talk about. How we got here. What it might mean is Bob Brian. He's a senior policy reporter at business insider, Mr Brian thanks so much for being with us. Thanks for having me. President Trump campaigned on a pledge to not just reduce the national debt but eliminated. So how did we get to the biggest national debt ever? There's a long history. And there's a short history. The long of it is for the last thirty years. We haven't been taxing as much as we spent. That's the simple way to put it. If you're looking in the short term a lot of it is we're spending a lot of money on an aging population. In just the last few years, we've seen the Republican tax reform laws actually slash taxes, which is brought down the revenue coming into the country into the treasury and at the same time, the congress agreed to this two year spending Bill which really raises the amount of money. We're spending on various programs now, the whole logic, though of cutting taxes, of course, was to increase public spending. And thereby that Bank shot would increase tax revenues ultimately. Yeah, that's the idea. We've definitely seen corporate tax revenues drop-off last year, we saw corporate tax revenues after their tax rate was cut fell off a cliff significantly. We haven't seen that on the personal side yet. But the idea is that even if you cut taxes and lower revenue in the short run that the economy grows so much faster that your revenue is going to overall in aggregate get higher at the same time. You know are spending has been going up. So it's unclear whether or not that's really happened now years ago, I covered the bankruptcy of a great American city. And I know one of the problems that they had to confront was paying the debt service. They had to pay that off before anybody else got paid. Yeah. Debt services..

"A happy Valentine's Day. I'm telling you for the parents. In parkland, Florida the classmates in parkland, Florida, the here we it's a year. It's a year. Don't worry. We'll switch to Valentine's Day topic here in a moment. We'll have Dr Jan join me in just a few minutes, but a year later where are we? We just heard twelve hundred and forty nine kids have died at the end of a firearm. Not suicide just under a thousand more from suicide with a firearm. How how do you look at dang? Oh, yeah. No. I mean, really thoughts and prayers thoughts and prayers. That's all we can do thoughts. Do anything by God's? Really? I mean, I just I'm so curious about that. Because the data shows that your thoughts and prayers aren't doing anything. The data shows that thoughts and prayers in response to this has done nothing. Nothing. I have to school age kids. To school age kids. And I'm not gonna lie every day when I bring him to school. I do take them to school every day. Tell him. I Make sure that I am by the way. What's a what's a great reminder of making sure to say, I love you and never ever forget that when you dropped your kids off at school. Oh, I don't know the. Horrific anguish of Fred Gutenberg, one of the parents of one of the parkland victims his daughter, Jaime. He tweeted out exactly one year ago to the minute at around seven AM, I sent to kids to school only my son Jesse. Came home. Jamie was murdered in school. What he wrote? I am forever. Haunted by my memory of that morning rushing. My kids out the door rather than getting one last minute decided I say. I love you. That was his anguished tweet early this morning right around the time. A year later that he got his kids out the door picture of him with his daughter who is no longer with us because of this. Horrific you now, you can argue all you want failures of law enforcement. You can argue, hey, why did this guy? Why was he able to get a firearm? Great while they passed a law that maybe would help. But the point is still this. He got his hands on firearms. He pulled off an execution did the murder of fourteen children. Marjory stoneman Douglas high school, and it's happening on a daily basis. And the right wingers want to sit there and say, well, there's nothing we can do. It's a societal problem. Yeah. Okay. I'm not gonna lie. Of course. It's a societal problem. And they have ready access to guns. Well, but knives kill people. Yeah. And they don't kill fourteen in a matter of moments the same way, do they? It's different. You don't make it easy to commit mass murder. Let's make it harder to commit mass murder in this country. Let's make it. So parents don't have to as I every time. I take my kids to school. I checked the perimeter of the school again, I was at a Valentine's Day dance with my kids in my wife the other day at their elementary school the other night, and what am I doing the whole time looking around keeping my eyes open are there people who are acting weird suspiciously? Am I keeping him? I I'm watching the entrance and exit all of them. I'm not able to sit there and just enjoy the dance. Why? Because school shootings are commonplace. Now. Is that how we want to raise our kids? Hey, guys, you don't have tornado drill. So I grew up a tornado drills. Hey, guys, you just have an earthquake drill. You got an active shooter drill any day at any time. Somebody could come into your school with a firearm and start shooting and killing people. Let's prepare for that. That's insane. And I am not making any type of a judgment about mental health, etc. I'm saying to live that way is not sane. Yet. We continue down this path Republicans used to have some concept of this idea that, hey, maybe we ought not to do this even Justice Scalia for you right wingers is the one who wrote section three in the DC versus Heller decision. That says. Yeah, of course, you can control and limit firearm ownership there's a long history, he judges everything back into the eighteenth century eighteenth century there, you could limit firearms. There were things against concealed weapons cetera. He says as much so what the hell are we waiting for? Are you? I mean, apparently, you're so removed from putting kids in body bags. Go do that sometime participate in a funeral service for a child who died because somebody was able to get their hands on a firearm Amiga really easy to kill them. Go participate in that people. Who are always have really what I consider to be odd ideas about homelessness, etc. Google on tier at a shelter. Go hand out food. Go work at a food Bank. Go work with homeless people. You'll have a different perspective on it very quickly. Then you're harsh judgment from a distance because you've never had to participate. Go walk around the school, go work with professionally. I know a guy who's in charge of security for a school district. Then the way he has to think now about entrances, and exits now, you control entry you prevent people from getting and you can't stop everything. But you stop as many as you can. And you make it as hard as possible for those who want to commit harm on this kind of a mass scale. It's awful. I can't believe that we as a society, and we have a group of people in Washington DC can't get their arms around the idea that hey, twelve hundred and fifty kids in one year dead not because of suicide, but the end of the barrel of a firearm, and it's wrong. We need to be doing way more about it. All right. Well, it is Valentine's Day. So we are going to check in with the best in the business. She's from VH1.'s couples therapy and family therapy. "Extra subject to change one year ago today tragedy struck Marjory stoneman Douglas high school. Shots. I just ran off the property in the matter. Two minutes today, we honor the seventeen victims and their families. There are a number of fatalities. This is news talk eight fifty w. Of course, I'm always grateful when students are activated no matter, whether I agree with them or not and last year shooting at a Florida high school, certainly did spark a movement among the younger generation I had promised that. I would take some calls. If you would like to weigh in on this one year memorial to the students and the families and the faculty at Marjory stoneman Douglas high school, please feel free to do that. Now, we have a caller on the line. Jackie in lake worth. You're on the air. Jackie. Good morning. Join for opening your show to calls. I listen to you every day. Thank you. I don't have a direct connection, but I did hug my tenth grader. A little tighter him off to school. And she was the one that called me about the shooting via tax last year. Marching band. Friends down in Broward are they compete together. And he was getting those Texan having them. He was just fine. Situation as everyone else was so we're spending much today. Children. And I think that, you know, you speak for a lot of parents who, you know, who who feel as though they were spared because they sent their kids off that day to school and never thinking that there would be a tragedy of this magnitude, right? You are going to a safe place. When I go to school that I know there's been a lot of changes, I share everyone's so grateful for. Yeah. Have you says your son? Yeah. Has your son experienced changes that make him feel safer at his school? Yes. He has told me they do active shooter drills. Now regularly messages from the principal and the day, they're happening. And there's a lot of communication. There's more police presence on the campus, and they have only one entrance and exit now. Yeah. Some of those things seem so so clear after the fact. You know, but we we as a society have to be more proactive in in in protecting not just our children, but our communities because this isn't gonna stop this isn't, you know, the the world is more chaotic than it's ever been before and people who are disturbed or on the fringe are going to act out. That's exactly what we saw happen in this instance. So we've got to be prepared for anything. My nose. Our school is having a week of kindness. Every day or day of kindness. This week every day this week. Nice today. There have their moment of silence for Marjorie stoneman, Douglas and. So it's a somber day it is it is. Like, I said, it seems poetic that it's also a was and you just want to share that. Yeah. I agree. Thank you so much Jackie. I appreciate your call. And of course, your emotion. I I the same thing happened to me when I started this show, you know, sometimes you think you have together. And then you just can't you can't, you know, speak without crime. But that that just proves that that our hearts are bigger than our brains. All right. Thank you so much for calling Jackie appreciate it. And I think that's really true one of the things that I learned last year. And look I have been reporting breaking news of this kind for twenty nine years. I was on the air when the Oklahoma City bombing took place. There was a daycare center in in the first on the first floor of that building reporting that was horrific. There was nothing on television. But firefighters and first responders carrying babies out in their arms. Many of whom were obviously not alive. There were people who were just devastated wandering the streets with the days look on their face. And I was on. I was on the air the day that nine eleven took place in case. People forget we watched horrific scenes people jumping out of, you know, hundred storey buildings. And and I I am better at the moment. Then I am after the fact because I think that what ends up happening is you become overwhelmed when you realize that those dangers are still out there that some things are changed and many things are not changed and for the individuals who were there that day. Many of whom are now away at college the level of post traumatic stress stress syndrome is enormous today is going to be a traumatic day for many of the residents of parkland in particular for the families who were so directly affected.

I might recommend you encourage them to seek mental health. We'll did you say that his ex girlfriend was telling everybody they should have seen this coming. Yeah. It seems a channel the information. Well, that's why I mean she's trying to deflect and say y'all should have seen this common. I broke up with them for this reason. But we'll have about the blood. That's on your hands lady. Okay. We don't yet know how he got this weapon. We do however know that this mass shooting was at least the fourth mass shooting in Florida with five or more dead in the past three years twenty sixteen. Of course, we lost forty nine at pulse nightclub in Orlando five at the Fort Lauderdale airport in two thousand seventeen that we forget about seventeen at Marjory stoneman Douglas high school and parkland, February two thousand eighteen seventy seven five seven nine hundred to five we'd even make it out of the first month of the year before we found ourselves in the news for yet another mass shooting. Hard to suck unless you're right up on the window that sucks, you know, you see all these movies and everything where they can track through, thermal dynamics, and all that stuff, and you want it to be that way where they see that he's holed up in an office somewhere. And you want the satisfaction of one of our brave first responders putting a bullet through the scumbags Adam's apple, and and when you see him dragged into custody, even if you study them, even if you do research on them, you cut them open, and and poke in that brain of his still not enough to to make up for the fact that we lost five women at a Bank yesterday. "Yeah. Six nine definitely a little bit mobile ramp. Anyways, Tele friend, tell an enemy tell Don lemon, Jim Kosta or some other retard that works at CNN just tell somebody in now man of the year. All right, slowly, inadequate. I'll go all right show him running stuff. So while running a little bit I'm going to encompass a lot of people into one, and they are going to be named this. But I'm going to give one name to it's okay. Just to kind of give an example at the type of people I'm talking about. And I'm talking about the every day heroes in America. And there's that that are that. I don't want to say our unsung. They get there. They get their moment in the sun. But it's an hung, right. But it's fleeting. It's twenty four hours forty eight hours in our ever changing new cycle because we gotta make way for witch hunts and these people don't get what they deserve. And I'm talking about people like Erin Feis. I think everyone you're not going to know him off the top of your head. But you remember everybody remembers last February and Majorie stoneman Douglas high school in parkland, Florida where there's a shooting and Aaron was at football coach who died shielding three students with his body saving their lives. And not now, obviously, not always with school shootings. But we got stuff like, you know, we've got guys putting their life down on the line. We've had stories about people stopping robberies in waffle house getting shot multiple times saving while you're there. Let's go hit mine was going to be James junior waffle house. He's shooting. And that's what I want to say those type of people because we try and highlight those people on the show doing everything to him. Not only did he stop a shooting at the risk of his own life. But then they started a me for him. He took the money and gave it for the burials of the people who were killed there. And then had also inspired children who have to dress up like him is Halloween. So I'm glad that he's a real hero. But this type of thing America is still the greatest country on this planet and the greatest force for good. We still have the best most moral heroic people on this planet and they're doing they're laying down their line. For absolute strangers that they have nothing in common. Other than the fact they're Americans just like them and people like who west just brought up and Aaron Feis they sadly there just a blip in the twenty four hour news cycle. But there's people like them. There's men and women like them every single day doing heroic acts that don't get enough attention because Trump tweeted this and Jim Acosta scream that or this football player took a knee or this baseball player. Hit a home run. We're focused on too many different things while people like this aren't getting the credit. They deserve. I need to go next. Trump that. No, I'm not gonna try trumpet. I'm gonna try to add to it because mine was very long the same lines a little bit different. But same kind of people. So my son joined the army this year west is boys joined the navy in the last few years and they're going for special warfare. When I went to his boot camp graduation. I saw how many young kids were still lying up going to boot camp marching out proud to serve their country. I was very moved. Because when you look at the news, all you see is chaos, and like you were saying all the bullshit and the only the heroes. They get that little blip and they're gone. But there are a lot of good Americans out there. I just wanna throw them into that pile and agree with you the average. Unsung quote, unquote hero of America. If you will that are still out there, and you're not getting any attention by the media. They want us all to believe that being drudge in this little pussies is the way to be. And it's not true. There's a lot of good people out there doing the right thing. So. Once again, we're best friends. We just made a gay. Yes. Sorry. Sorry song heroes. We didn't mean to do that. But. What do you got Mitch? Oh little.
