If you're heading out along I 95 in either direction, you're gonna be just fine if you're doing some traveling, maybe headed southbound, no issues from the Springfield interchange through Fredericksburg all the way down towards the Richmond area, you're gonna be just fine. 66, same story from the beltway through manassas and out towards 81, things are very much running up to speed, despite a work zone that is still out there between subtly road in 29. You're only gonna have three lanes through that area, might cause a little issue here in the morning, as folks head out the door, but as of now, things are all right. Beltway traffic looks good from the Springfield interchange up towards the American legion bridge, outer loop across the Wilson bridge, looks good as well. Earlier crash that was after Pennsylvania avenue, that's all cleared up. No delays, no work group or rather no response out there any longer. Now if you're headed across or rather headed along south capitol street or trying to get on to south capital, street headed inbound, you can't do that. It looks like Douglas bridge is currently closed because of an accident scene that didn't happen on the bridge itself. So if you're headed inbound, you're going to need to take the 11th street bridge. That's the one that will take you from two 95 onto the southeast Southwest freeway 6 95, look for the sign that says downtown. You'll see what I'm saying. Again, inbound side is south capital street Douglas bridge currently closed. D.C. two 95 northbound looking great, no issues past 50. New York avenue, as well as the third street tunnel in bladensburg road all running up to speed right now, no issues to report. I 95 at the BW Parkway between the beltways looking good and for my Baltimore drivers, the outer loops still dealing with the earlier accident scene. Near Stevenson Bill road, though delays look much better now, you are still going to slow down past the actual incident itself and the investigation across the bay bridge. I did westbound, westbound span has the far left lane block. You got two lanes available to you, no glaze because of it, of course, as you head towards Annapolis, and through Annapolis and over towards the beltway, things are looking good. Thanks dean and of course we're watching as south capital street as you head inbound. The Douglas bridge, unfortunately, is currently closed because of an accident scene. You have to take care of that in the meantime. You're going to have to follow police direction. They'll have a workaround, but if you're headed inbound might want to opt for two 95 and go ahead and jump onto the downtown, ramp that will take you across the 11th street bridge and onto the southeast Southwest freeway might be your best bet right there. Northbound side of the third street tunnel, that's the inbound side looking okay. We were seeing delays there near New York avenue, no longer the case. If you're headed between the beltways, 95, and the BW Parkway looking all right? Across the bay bridge that far left lane is still blocked with the, it's not a work crew. They just have that far left lane blocked. What their most likely doing there is, though, since traffic is expected to be a little bit rough in the morning, a lot of traveling going on this weekend, what they're going to do is they're going to keep that far left lane closed since most people are headed eastbound. They're going to the minute delays start to build tomorrow morning what they're going to do is let folks use that far left line. If you're headed on two 70, no issues headed southbound for my Baltimore drivers, the outer loop of the Baltimore beltway technically closed only a single shoulder getting by the accident scene. It's going to be right by Stevenson, Stevenson, Bill road. You're going to see delays back towards the JFX. Down in Virginia, a couple of crews and O V dot said that they weren't going to have many out there for the most part. That is true. The one exception as you would expect is 66 if you're headed westbound after two 34 suddenly road, you'll find that you'll have three lanes available to you and on the eastbound side, looking through cameras right by the fairfax county Parkway looks like they do have a left lane blocked through that area. Otherwise, beltway traffic looking pretty good here in Virginia, same story in Maryland with one exception, the outer loop after Pennsylvania avenue, two left lanes are still blocked there with the crash activity, minimal delays of course. As you make your way on to south capital street, in other words, the Frederick Douglass bridge is currently closed on the inbound side, all lanes completely shut down, headed inbound across the Douglas bridge, keep that in mind, you may need to opt for two 95 and the 11th street bridge to head inbound, outbound seems to be okay, but as I mentioned inside or inbound traffic is currently closed, if you're headed across the bay bridge, looks like we are still dealing with some debris in the roadway there. So if you have it to see some folks out there cleaning that up, be very, very careful. They should be along the right hand side. Seems like the center lane is all that's getting by, both right lanes should be opening up as soon as they get whatever is blocking the way out of the way. For Baltimore drivers, the outer loop of the beltway in Baltimore has been shut down for a couple hours now, the accident scene happened right by Steve and Bill rode just before getting down towards one 29, watching the camera looks like all lanes are currently closed, except for the far left shoulder, traffic is getting by a single file, along the far left hand side, delays are building, not quite as far as the JFX, but almost. So keep that in mind if you're headed along the outer loop of the Baltimore beltway. I two 70 looks good from the Frederick area down towards the capital beltway, headed southbound on three 55 just before getting down towards the beltway right by grosvenor lane looks like that far left lane is blocked with a work room not causing any delays of course, just watch out for the cones and folks in orange. If you're headed on the outer loop of the beltway just on your approach towards Pennsylvania avenue, handful of emergency vehicles headed that way, looking for an accident scene. So this is causing temporary stoppages and a lot of diversion points and a lot of delays. Northbound I two 95 was already in delays from joint base anacostia bowling trying to head toward the 11th street bridge, but we also have delays along south capital street crossing the Douglas bridge. Southbound D.C. two 95 heavy in that direction as well. Colors on to 95 are reportedly being pushed onto 6 95 if you're on the freeway you're going to find delays in both directions to the closure points where police are going to be holding traffic until the motorcade can get through. This was affecting main avenue trying to get on to three 95 the night street tunnel. Anything trying to get around from the third street tunnel if you're stopped. It is going to be a temporary stoppage, but we do have to let the motor kit get through before they can let traffic go. Now northbound three 95 is slow after The Pentagon trying to get onto the freeway within this delay. That westbound freeway delay is after the 11th street bridge before south capital street. We also have a slowdown in the northbound third street tunnel headed on to New York avenue. Northbound D.C. two 95 delays after Pennsylvania avenue all the way past bening road callers report a work crew in the right lane. If you're on the beltway, the inner loop between university and New Hampshire, there was large tire tread along the right side, the outer loop delay in Virginia, slow out of Tyson's headed on to westbound 66 on the ramp. The left lane is blocked with the work, the inner loop is slow headed toward 66 as well due to a work crew, southbound 95 slows crossing the Aquaman and in Stafford, northbound slows Dale City into woodbridge, and lorton into newington at the end of that newington to lay there had been some crash activity on both shoulders. I watched for a response showing up to the scene. In Virginia, southbound 95 delays crossing the arkan, then you're gonna find it heavy in stretches from 6 ten garrisonville road headed past courthouse road, but good after that into Fredericksburg, northbound 95 seeing a delay in triangle. Inner loop of the beltway heavy approaching and passing two 36 little river turnpike, this is a scheduled work zone. In the left lane, back in Maryland getting across the bay bridge, good news the westbound span of the bridge is already running two way traffic, so three lanes eastbound, two lanes, westbound getting across the bay bridge, and no delays getting there. In the district D.C. two 95 northbound heavy from the 11th street bridge passing Pennsylvania avenue, southbound before benning road headed past these capital street. The 7 members of MS 13 were convicted in a federal court in Virginia Friday that 13 year old ran away from a youth home in fairfax in 2018. She then met these gang members who told her they would protect her and her family if she joined. For the next two months she was sold to numerous gang members and others for cash and drugs in both Maryland and Virginia. The 6 men and one woman also beat the young girl with a baseball bat over 50 times during that period. Those gang members will face a minimum of 15 years in prison after a sentencing hearing in November, they could also receive a life sentence. It appears the nationwide trend of stripping the names of confederate generals from buildings and roadways may be happening in our area. Acacia James has more on what fairfax county drivers are feeling about possibly changing names to numbers. The survey which had a small sample size found that the public prefers to just go with the road's numbers, so the new name for Lee highway named after Robert E. Lee would be route 29 and for Lee Jackson memorial highway named after Thomas Stonewall Jackson, the name would be route 50. I mean, I know this is a small sample set, but frankly people already refer to these by their route numbers today. So it would be a less dramatic change in terms of lifestyle marketing, the daily lives of people who live and work in these two corridors. You can not leave or come into the city using the Douglas bridge. You're going to want to opt for either 11 street bridge or Pennsylvania avenue. Here's the thing though, if you opt for the southeast Southwest freeway and the 11th street bridge, there is an accident reported on the outbound side headed towards D.C. two 95, central lane is currently blocked with some delays back towards south capital street. D.C. two 95 slow in either direction headed to and from east capitol street doesn't seem to be because of an accident scene just your regular volume delays, outer loop issue we had, past kennel worth avenue has cleared. It was on the left side of the roadway, but even so it looks like the delays are sticking around. You've got delays on both the inner and outer loop of the beltway headed towards two O one, southbound side of the BW Parkway have two separate work zones that are mobile, blocking the right lane headed between one 75 and Maryland 32, same story headed down towards I 97, or rather I Maryland one 97 on I 97, we are slow from crownsville all the way down towards 50. This is because of the accident seen on the eastbound side of 50 out for the exit near parole that's exit 23, right hand side of the roadway is affected. And again, causing delays back towards I 97.
