Program that we put all the bills through. And then we have a group of nurses and health care experts collaborate together, examine the bills and try and figure out a way to advocate on behalf of the employees. How can we save you money? I promise you, DEA. If you look at the medical bill, you have no idea what you're being charged for. I mean it just it unless you unless you understand the business which none of us do. You don't know. So this is an advocate for you. So we want to help you understand what you're being charged. And like I said, You could go to meddle in mental calm and get a lot more information. But it's a way for self insured employers to be able to do things or the employees and save themselves from money. And reduce the cost of their medical costs. Makes sense. Valuable resource. Rain, Potential Flooding, Landslide Threat: Washington Forecast
"Is going to stay rainy for the next two day or so, But by the time we get to Thursday, it looks like we might have some sunshine breaking through Friday. It appears we're reigning once again and all through the week with the exception of today about 50 is what we can expect to see on the temperature gauge. Right now, though, in Seattle 54 degrees with still very cloudy skies and potentially some more rain on the way All this rain means the possibility for flooding to flood watch in effect until 10 o'clock Wednesday. Communities bracing for potentially landslides as well. Come on meteorologist after you Cockney reports from along the Snoqualmie River, David Hawkins said, is the owner and operator of Jubilee Farms incarnation. He's seen his share of floods over the years, and this week he's getting ready for rising water levels. I've got Pigs in my greenhouse, I'd probably have to move. So I start thinking about where everything is where the water levels will be and what needs to be brought to high ground And the next thing you know, this area's an island. Larry back, remembers major floods of previous years and hopes people never drive into flooded roads. After all, it only takes about a foot of water to float most vehicles. The main thing is just You know if you can't see the road in front of you don't drive into it. Doug Williams with the King County Flood Warning Center, advises people to sign up for King County flood alerts and to consider getting flood insurance. Very mind. It takes 30 days for the policy to take effect. What insurance If you live in a flood from area there quicker, you'll be protected from potentially large losses from a flood to say all along Washington waters. "C area medical centers. 6 41, The Washington football team can clinch the NFC East by beating the Eagles tonight. And they'll be doing it without their 2019 1st round pick quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who was released this past week. His departure came less than 24 hours after he committed three turnovers and lost to Carolina and in the aftermath of another violation of pandemic protocols are Dimitri Sodas talked about it with James Brown, host of the NFL today on CBS and a special correspondent for CBS News From a kid who gets to come back and play the hometown area. It's really sad, but it speaks to the leadership that is expected from Order back in today's gave the fact that you know he would be released before the season is even over after his second violation and be stripped of his captain seats really speaks that the front office. More importantly, the coaching staff They were at within and did not see an upside going from that. I'm hurt for the young man because it was a golden opportunity here. Ron Rivera comes in and inherits. Dwayne wanted to give him that opportunity, welcomed him and giving him opportunities. Doug Williams, the great former Washington player as well, wanting to invest in him, and to see him maximize on the opportunities. This obviously indicated they both were at within because I know that Rivera and Williams have been talking extensively about it. Now, you know that if Rivera had used what's known as the character lens with Haskins, maybe Haskins would have been cut a week ago after the pictures of him on master at that party came out. Your thoughts and again the second coded violation. But again, keep in mind that if you're the leader of the team, you have a responsibility to set the example and also recognized that if you're going out and putting yourself at risk, it's not just you. You're coming back to the team and to the facility and other employees and possibly You know, risking them as well with respect to the infection, So on any level, it doesn't show a team orientation or a leadership mentality and again. I'm saddened because I want to see the young man take advantage if he gets another opportunity, But the end of the day. The bottom line is you have to want it. The old expression in the world of sports is your best player. And certainly he may not have been the best players still with some developmental things that needed to be sharp in there, But you've got to show the passion. You got to show the leadership. You gotta show the want. Do all those things and be all those things in order for people to and you can't be given the captain's seat. You have to earn it. James.

"So effective. This someone I'm might be appointed as because of a motion in the backfield. the running back with step opposite. To the direction he was going to end up running to. And the plus side that the we were running to what be blocking everybody now and Lee two guys left for the pulling guard and tackle the pickup one. Yard we kick out wanted to tackle which myself pulling up for the other individual that was less than that. The flow of it was just the flow of the people throwing away from the direction you were running and made it easier for the 'cause blocking everybody down people going in that direction. Let. Me Ask you a little bit about that play as well because I remember watching it so many times in seeing you out in front. and. You know you're a big do you over three hundred pounds stood at six seven and and everything? was there anything that stood out about that play consistently that made it successful that you'll not forget. Well, I just think that many times that we ran him over the years three or four years. and to come around and. Always be running into that's not sometimes linebacker but butch authority of time the by coming around I would be leading up on the secondary people because. Other side of the line at such outstanding job, and all you know the down linemen and the linebackers only thing that was left of the secondary for me the pick up. Let's talk about super bowl seventeen. You defeated the Miami Dolphins twenty seven seventeen in your first super bowl and you concluded a season which the player strikes short season actually denying games but it was the seventeen unanswered points in the second half. That gain the Super Bowl record two, hundred, and seventy six yards. Tell me a little bit about that game from. Your. Perspective. Well. We knew. We kind of had a weight advantage over the Dolphins Defensive Front. And it was just a matter of time that we will wear that defensive front that we've been. It systems we came at. But they often surviving pounded that and bring that big running back John Records at them that you know we wore than down in the big place started happening. We have the big play with him for the Fourth of one with John Scoring from forty three yards out that time that game in our favorite we got the lead. And then we just. Ran The clock out there we all run game. We were able to hit some plaques and passes off of its four touchdowns that way. So it was the combination of having strong running game that open about passing game. Some big point what I remember about Super Bowl twenty two down in. San. Diego. I was down there. You guys win that game. Of course, defeating the broncos forty two to ten. You Fall Behind in the first quarter ten nothing and venue scored forty two unanswered points including a record thirty five in the second quarter. Doug. Williams was your quarterback and what I remember about it was the silliness of the press during that week during a press meeting Doug Williams was asked how long have you been a black quarter?.
Report: Redskins' minority owners threaten to sell
"So the big debate was going on this weekend about. The Washington football team right and their new nickname, so if you don't know what's happening, the Washington redskins are probably going to change their name Adam schefter reporting that Fedex basically said all right enough is enough. Three of the minority owners which own forty percent of the team had told Daniel Snyder. They're out if he doesn't do it Nike has put pressure on them, so it's now happening. Ron, Rivera has finally put some pressure on them and by the way all the stuff. Did you see what Jeanie Buss tweeted about this greg? Now what she's saying. She was on July second, so it was right before the weekend and I re tweeted it for those that didn't get a chance to see as you can. you can see it at Sodano. And I thought. She made an unbelievably compelling argument. I thought it was fantastic on her part. It was talking about at the time. Nike and Fedex and Pepsi. Ties with Washington. And, she wrote the argument I've heard. is about the argument for keeping the name? Quote if we changed the team's name. We lose our history. My reply, and by the way she's right. That's what most people are saying. which is kind of silly, but I thought she surmised they're perfectly. Jeanie, said my reply. It's human beings. She writes in capital letters who created the memories and won the game's not a logo. She wrote in caps. A change in name will not alter what art monk Dexter. Manley Darryl. "He didn't need a go to receiver. Finally, Dan, vegetarians, far more than non vegetarians a hell about that. It seems like the Redskins and Doug Williams have needed a go to wide receiver for decades. They haven't had one, and I'm not certain if they got Sean Jackson back or not if they did he's not going to be happy that he's that referred to go to wide receiver, but the Washington Redskins, and this is a mazing going on a decade and a half of needing a Goto wide receiver. The hats the Sean Jackson. What are you talking to good for them? It was for the eagles. What is that? Okay. So anyways, stay with the draft week. Okay. Fast things are and you just gotta stay with help me with Josh appellant game logs because to me he was among the worst starters in football last year. And I don't know while he may have been completing more passes toward the end of the season. I remember exactly zero impressive statistical performances from him throwing the football. Okay. So I'll give you the the final five games. I guess they played the dolphins. He threw for two hundred thirty one yards two touchdowns to intercept. I can't do rushing yards right home. Like like a thousand he rush. Rush for yard counts. And maybe there's maybe look this is what's happening in the NFL. Now, maybe Lamar Jackson Josh Allen. And and Cuyler Murray the running quarterback is coming that. Maybe this is the evolution of the sport against the jets the following week. He was eighteen thirty six hundred six yards. No touchdowns to interceptions went over hundred rushing. Again, you're going to keep doing that. And I'm sorry ever throw over two hundred and fifty yards in one game. This season one game that season. Not all season. He didn't throw for one finished with a flurry against the dolphins ban yards. Smart. How many total turnovers did he have was. It a dozen total turnover. Twelve finished strong to twenty four three touchdowns. These last five games, you counting fumbles fumbles that have in the last five or six games. I don't have the fumbles on this or hater. What are you doing? Josh rosen. Josh Allen Josh out when he doing them. He won very good. And you're sitting here making the arguments. That's all I'm saying could good. That's all I said. I mean, I. Listen your larger point his, right? He was terrible here. Five I saw a shoot guy could run. I didn't think and run. Okay. Those the signs. I saw signs seems like we're just gonna keep doing this until Dan's, right? So we should probably tell me, right. Josh eighty stinks. But I don't even know what I'm right about. I just don't remember him being someone who you could be convinced. It's going to be a good NFL quarterback. Sure, you got your right? Dan was it's all about signs with young quarterbacks. The most important thing released move the ball down the fear and try to change the field position. And we was unable to do that defensively. You know, Denver did exactly what they used to doing going trickery and blitzen from all different ways and come through off early. And we it to him and lex that. He no. You know, there was an Endo. We were sitting in the stands and there were some Denver Bronco fans. Couple of rows behind things did not start. Well for them. The Redskins fell behind ten to nothing and they were cheering wildly. They were really celebrating is if the game had already been one. And then it looked like curtains for the Redskins because Doug Williams twisted his knee and had to come out of the game. And Jay Schrader came in a couple of plays that he had. He didn't do. Well, I know he was sacked on one of them. And it looked like wow. It's Doug can't get back in the game. Jay shredders to have to go the rest of the way. And I don't know whether he's good enough to win this game. Especially coming from ten nothing behind. It was up ten nothing. You know, we got the ball again. And I was dropping back and lost my footing. And all of a sudden my leg. Just start sliding a hybrid stint at my knee. And we didn't know the extent of the knee. Eighty seven Schrader got hurt and Williams eventually wrestled the way the job and didn't really get it on a full-time basis until the final regular season game. And then he had won two playoff games to get the Redskins to the Super Bowl. So this was a very significant story then just twenty four hours before the big game Williams had yet. Another setback the Saturday before the Super Bowl. I did not practice. I spent four hours in the dentist's office having a root canal. So I didn't get a chance to practice because I was in so much pain. But when I woke up Sunday morning, I felt no pain because I realized what was at stake growing up in in a rural area small town who would have thought that Doug Williams would end up in Super Bowl going into the Super Bowl the Washington Redskins with underdogs and went took Williams took to the field with his teammates the nerves stopped to kick in when it was game time. You know, you get a little jittery and all the flag waving stands feel and you realize what's about to take place. And you know, you just feel when you throw same yourself. Don't let me messed this one up, you know, when they call my name and just let it out on the fear of man. It was one of the greatest feeling of knowing that it just call your name start in Super Bowl twenty two as expected. The Denver Broncos.

"Led by superstar quarterback. John Elway dominated the start of the game. First quarter was terrible. Wasn't nothing going our way. We did. So many things wrong on the opening drive. The most important thing released mood of all down the fear and try to change the field position. And we was unable to do that defensively. You know, Denver did exactly what they used to doing throwing trickery and blitzen from all different ways and come through off early. And we want it to him. And next thing, you know, you know, there was an Endo. We were sitting in the stands and there were some Denver Bronco fans. Couple of rows behind things did not start. Well for them. The Redskins fell behind ten to nothing and they were cheering wildly. They were really celebrating the game had already been one. And then it looked like curtains for the Redskins because Doug Williams twisted his knee and had to come out of the game. And Jay Schrader came in a couple of plays that he had. He didn't do. Well, I know he was sacked on one of them. And it looked like wow. If Doug can't get back in the game. Jay Schrader is going to have to go the rest of the way. And I don't know whether he's good enough to win this game. Especially coming from ten nothing behind. It was up ten nothing. You know, we got the ball again. And I was dropping back and lost my footing. And all of a sudden my leg. Just start. Sliding a hybrid standing my knee. And we didn't know the extent of the Andrea at that time all I know I was in his crusade and pain got to the sideline living on the sideline and moving around. Trying to see how bad was it my mind mentally ill Super Bowl. And I'd say the myself I was going to finish this football game by the end of the first quarter. The.

"Ideo row here in Atlanta for a Super Bowl fifty three with a guy that I have done countless interviews with and. Her name from the past. But one of the truly legendary players in the NFL and that's Warren Moon. Warren, welcome good to see you again. Michael good where he well. And it shows how long we've both been doing this. I mean going back a full generation, but. Maybe a very a very, yeah. But you know, what folks you're looking at a guy who was really one of the legitimate groundbreaker is when it was tough to be a black quarterback when you had a fight your way to be a black quarterback was hard to prove that you could be a black quarterback. It was that was the time you lived in. And you will one of the people who turn that around. Yeah. That's one of the things. I'm most proud of about my career is is I was able to help make a difference myself. Doug Williams winning a Super Bowl. Randall Cunningham the way he played during our time. And and it really opened up the door for that next phase of guys to come in and really get opportunities to play the position at a high level. Now, you see they're flourishing everywhere. So that's something that makes me proud every time. I watch these guys it has to be when you see Mahomes when you see any of these young quarterbacks where it's no longer an issue. So and you lived in an era where you know, they were guys who it's all, hey, you can't play caller. I listen I used to we used to have debates all the time people all the time. Oh, we can't play quarterback in the NFL. Remember you? Go prove you could play quarterback in the NFL. I I went to Canada for six years and five five championships. But you know, it was it was it was a slap in the face to me come out. I'm player Washington. I'm the eight player of the year on the Rose Bowl. Most valuable player. Michigan made some all American teams get a chance to show what I can do. So that that's the thing. That.

"The bolts. It's seven twenty three on A M Tampa Bay. By the way on this date in history on January twenty second nineteen Eighty-four. It was a good year. It was a very good year and Tampa had its first-ever Super Bowl. I was Super Bowl eighteen and it was the LA raiders. And the Washington Redskins. Anybody? Remember who won? I heard Katy Redskins Redskins as well. You lost that one big time raiders thirty eight skins nine really blow out was was it. The last time in LA team won the Super Bowl last time. Elite team has been there, isn't it? Might have been. I'm not sure I'd have to check that out. But I was thinking that was I always get the Doug Williams years missed up next up. I don't even think he was in the NFL at that time. No. He wasn't an eighty four. We had the Super Bowl in eighty four. We had it ninety one two thousand one two thousand nine and we will have it next in twenty twenty one. I think on February seventh or something like that. And what are the trade offs for that was that the buccaneers would have to play a game in London? Yeah. And the buccaneers we just end yesterday. We'll be playing that game in London this year against the Panthers. Yep. A division team want to go to London vision game playing in London. The that is weird might be there later..
Redskins pick up linebacker days after domestic violence arrest
"Was a linebacker for the San Francisco forty Niners. You got into trouble over the weekend on domestic violence charges down in Tampa. And from there the Washington Redskins have determined. They were going to sign him at he was released by said forty Niners more on the story now. Brian Clark ABC news. That's just a quick synopsis. I have what are the details. Now, we'll Tony Reuben foster very talented linebacker from Alabama as you said he had top ten talent going into the twenty seventeen draft but fell because of all feel concerned he was the forty Niners essentially took a chance on them thirty first overall than last off season he was arrested on felony domestic violence charges. His accuser, then recanted said he made the story up. He was also accused of having an assault. Rifle. So he was put on probation. He can't own guns. But then just this weekend with the forty Niners in Tampa hours before a game against the buccaneers. He's arrested at the team hotel for an alleged misdemeanor incident involving that same woman. So the forty Niners announced Sunday morning they were going to cut him Monday. And then Tuesday the Redskins scooped him up and signed him. Well, that's got to be a PR nightmare for the Redskins. But it appears the Jay Gruden the coach of the Redskins in the team ownership doesn't really care about that. Well point though, Tony because Jay Gruden met the media yesterday. But the team ownership Daniel Snyder the president Bruce Allin day didn't they're nowhere to be found. They have not spoken publicly about this. Doug Williams, the director of player personnel for the team. He released a statement saying we talked to some of Rubens teammates from Alabama who are on the Redskins, and they were supportive of this. But two of them have said, no, they didn't ask us anything about Ruben foster. So there are some questions about the what the ownership has to say about this. But that's where the coach Jay Gruden did speak yesterday. He took a. Kind of a cautious approach. We said look there's a lot that has to take place before he plays for us. There's the legal system has to play out the NFL disciplined system and there's the Redskins policy right now. He's on the exempt list. The commissioners exemplify that means he cannot practice or play with the team, but he can attend meetings. Well, of course, there's been some issues with the NFL and players who have had domestic violence issues and this all culminated in policy changes by the NFL. So where's the league now? And this the Commissioner's exempt list is really the main the most recent change we've seen we saw that in response in high profile incident a few years ago where it's sort of a grey area where it's not a player being suspended. It's essentially a a, wink wink suspension where they can't play they can't practice, but they're not officially formerly suspended. It's essentially letting the process play out. So that's where the NFL mainly is right now the league does have a policy, obviously, a zero tolerance policy for domestic violence. So there will be. Disciplined from the Commissioner's office if this is proven to be true. But yeah, it has been an ongoing. Story for the NFL ongoing story really in society, and it's not a good one.
