You know before I was allowed to leave home from Louisiana to go to college out. We came to mercer over here in making where I am now to college and I had to learn how to make Jambalaya Gumbo red beans and rice Family recipes and my mom makes red beans and rice. Well it's the way I grew up making red beans and rice. It's the way she grew up making red beans rice. You have it on Mondays A you always have red beans and rice on Monday. And it's it's a great recipe. It is not your standard New Orleans. Yes red beans and rice but it's the one I grew up with it. It's the one I like the most And even my wife likes it. We can't make it a spicy with her cancer She gets the medicine she's on. Sometimes she gets sores in her mouth and so she's more sensitive to spicy food now but man. I love a good bowl of spicy red beans and rice with fresh garlic bread. It's fantastic antastic. And if you want the recipe text recipe two three three seven seven seven. You'll get it at noon. It is very easy to make. You will not be intimidated by you. Don't have to make a rue or anything anything it's it's an easy good recipe now again. Jeff Duncan if you want to if you WANNA listen to that interview you can. We've got a podcast for the show where we take the show who make it in podcast form and we use the number three seven seven seven for everything you text army. You're on the activists recipe the recipes if you text the word show Oh I'll send you back linked to the podcast for Google play or for For IOS. So Tech's Shota two three three seven hundred seventy if you wanna read. Listen to WHO Jeff Dunkin's interview which also replay them evening show This evening Education reform is one of those things where the chief chief impediments are always the Republicans in the state legislature always the Republicans and one of the reasons it's Republicans is several of the Republican leaders They have family members who were in private schools in good communities that are opposed to charter schools because they think it will undermine their good community the public schools and and I don't think that's true that's one of the blowback she get. And so I appreciate the Lieutenant Governor Fighting the good fight on charter schools. Very diplomatic answer on his part as well that he is backing Kelly Leffler he would support Doug Collins if he gets it. But here's here's the here's the thing. Notice what he said very diplomatic answer there but notice what he said that if Doug Collins gets into the run off with the Democrat Democrat he will support Doug Collins the only way the Doug Collins would get into a run off with the Democrat Pratt is for there to not be a special election primary subtle signal there. I would suspect from the Lieutenant Governor that AH the Senate will kill House Bill. Seven five seven if he gets through but I am told that it has been pulled house bill. Seven five seven has been pulled and they've been pulled because they've been pulled because they don't have Republican votes for it in the State House House bill. Seven five seven originally was a bill to move up the qualifying period so that the secretary of state would be able to get ballots to our soldiers abroad. The Democrats along with the Speaker of the House Hijack Very Reef Lemons legislation and used it to create a primary to help Doug Collins and help Raphael warnock and now there aren't enough Republican votes in the House to get it through so they've I've had to pull it and sit back to the rules committee. We will see what they do. Keep up the pressure though if you WANNA call your state representative and tell them to oppose this legislation text. The word Army two three three eighty seven seven seven. I will immediately send you back a link that you can click. You can put in your address and you'll generate an email to your state rep and also a phone call now marry Somebody Alexander Somebody went one of the state reps out. There is telling people you know Berry Fleming's worthless Scott Walker a skirt Scott. Turner was the only Republican to oppose us. That's not true Berry Fleming highly respected chairman of the Judiciary Committee for over the Gusta area. He wound up voting against legislation because he was opposed to the speaker and the Democrats brats hijacking his legislation and now it looks like a majority of the Republicans in the State House may be opposed to this legislation It is rewriting the rules now that the elections begun not a smart thing for them to do. Let's go to the phones Randy You're going to be up first today. Welcome to the program Randy. Hey Eric how're how are you doing today. Great how are you doing well. Doing well just wanted to kind of get a A plug in again for the Soros Foundation. Yes I I spoke to you a couple of days ago and everything and the fact that Kelly Leffler. Who's going to do? We were all talking about there She was actually queen of the starfish. Ball all this year So if you kind of Google starfish ball that sort of thing you will find Lots of pictures and then More information about console found well Tell People about the Zorro Foundation because they you know in two you would call me randy the last time I never heard of it and it sounds like a great group in. Please Explain Lina folks yes. It was a foundation established by Daryl. Maze Darryl Lives here in Georgia and He the established it Quite some time ago For Kids who age out of foster homes So that they will have funds available to go to college. That's fantastic and so Kelly Leifer was involved this year with it absolutely yes and there are many others others Like I say if you actually visit the website you'll see You know folks who were on the board And their love their people who a lot of people. We'll no good. Well look thank you very much for highlighting that in this again at her being involved you can. Can I be real honest with IOS. We go to break. I'm just I'm not impressed with her. Rollout I I'm not impressed. Best I and she is a smart capable person but this the social media stuff and these ads. I'm just y'all I'm sorry I'm not impressed She can do better that her team is doing her a disservice. I think And and I know parts of our team a and they're good people and I know that. Just WanNa booster name. Id but we gotta we gotTa do better on this. And if there's one good thing to come out of Doug Collins challenging is going to force the Maltby on their a game now there is some movement there we do need to get into impeachment. y'All God help me. I'm so tired of talking about impeachment and I gotTa do it when we come back because there actually is a lot of impeachment us we needed to consider. And I've got a few scoops for those of you listening. I've got some Intel from the Senate when we come back. Hello and welcome. Committee's earache Erickson. Here the Uric Eric's across the state of Georgia. The phone number is eight. Seven seven nine seven Eric. Eight seven seven nine seven three seven four or two five. We'll see how long my voice holds up y'all I. I woke up yesterday about three o'clock in the morning man and the worst sore throat and it has got to be winter. Can't make up his damn mind as to whether or not it's going to be winter spring summer fall something in between and it has just a it has messed with my sinuses And so I if I sound like Foghorn leghorn there you have it There is news and we need to get to this news before we get impeach was if I have been talking to people in the Senate about impeachment there is actually growing confidence that the that the Republicans. We'll have the votes to to wrap this up and not call witnesses. And that's what they're hoping for there's no guarantee but it looks like right now. They're not going to do that. We'll get into some the questions that they've asked. Today is another day where they'll be asking questions but before I do that I need to bring you up to speed on on this Collins Leffler situation in the state because there's actually a lot of news that has come out of this. The club for growth is launching an ad campaign in Georgia against Doug Collins. The club for Growth College Njit Doug Sohn an awesome guy. He doesn't have great fiscal track. Record and The club growth is going to blow him up in Georgia for being a big spender among other other things and they're prepared to come after him. The American conservative Union With a match slap is going to line up for Doug Collins. They'll be coming coming out to defend him They don't WanNa go after Kelly Leffler per se they wanna just support Doug Collins. The other thing you need to know is that Raphael warnock is the highly highly progressive minister in charge of ebenezer baptist. Church and he has declared now he's running for the Senate now that Collins has managed to divide the Republicans The Democrats. You'RE GONNA put up a united front and by the way this I'm with. Jeff Duncan if you weren't here last hour. Jeff Duncan was talking to me about the education reform package she wants to pursue you but also he was talking about the Collins Leffler race that he says he loves. Douglas dakotas great man. But he's with Kelly Leffler and one of the issues. Choose here is dividing the Republican Party. And we don't need to divide the Republican Party of this time and that is on Doug and Speaker Allston dividing the Republican Party and as the Republicans have divided. The Democrats are suddenly emboldened to unite behind Raphael warnock Raphael warnock. He's African American can minister Martin Luther King Junior's Church. He is highly progressive. He runs the new. Georgia project In Stacey Abrams dead. He is when you hear a minister. Mr You may think social conservative. He is in no way shape or form socially conservative He's a highly socially progressive Socially fiscally the Progressive activist And the Democrats are going to unite behind him. Stacey Abrams and Chuck Schumer Together. Trying to pressure Matt Lieberman out out of the race. Trying to pressure at Tarver out of the race the Democrats involved they want a united front four were knocked against Collins and Leffler and this is going to force first the president's hand to some degree there are some Republicans who think having a divided special election with. GOP actually is about and I actually leaning towards that position. Let me tell you the thinking here if you were to have this primary so so the house bill. Seven five seven which thanks to you guys may die why they've had to take it off the floor of the House now..

"Let the eagle wrap it up and then I got to get Dougie for about Florida on here next the director saying it out Jamie in a run down of Alabama so the lines are open for you guys all night long so eagle eagle go ahead and wrap things up so I get these other guys on here here are you are you so you go in and you come at all and to plug the night yeah yeah I got I got an interview with the gentleman great put down the big car show this weekend you're older you have gone through job so you know exactly what is going on well I will take a look in the end and the information I told you about the little street and I got the outcome in a little bit more about in this situation but like I say they do have fully open and due to be restricted like two women Burkle bottles in the White House he killed a and you know the Republicans say that they want to limit your power going eliminate detain isn't well I got to welcome to you know try to limit the powers hello one reason why are we doing now drop well in the Obama did a bunch of different drone strikes and kill people all over the place but the the some of the the real super bad guys he didn't do nothing to bother them with that I think of the users just like little P. on Sir they might have been thorns in the side of the of the big time terrorists but yeah well you know put you I remember something the eagle Nancy Pelosi is nothing but a pop at it she has strings pulled by those jackasses or that pathetic crew you know led by AC and her gang and then sleazy Chuck Schumer pulls her strings and then George Soros he's the biggest one he pulls all the strings of the Democrat politicians are nothing more than a bunch a sock puppets and they get their strings pulled by all kinds of various left left wing radical globalists okay yeah I agree with you on that we will call you back around about three o'clock three thirty do you do any of you in in in finished talking about are you get you get the other people and I was good or so from now okay sounds good thank okay thank Siegel and then let me go ahead real quick here we have plenty of time for a dial you down Florida yeah now let me see Doug Sohn two Dougie there yes Sir Hey man thanks for calling what's on your mind tonight what is your tax on your phone with regard regarding what happened the Boko haram in Nigeria the thing is that's an outrageous situation but it's simple understand we'll have a world view it doesn't coordinate with civilized society of civil society okay now the reaction have you heard anything from the squad regarding this well you know this is late at night I don't know they need a lot of Babel beauty sleep but I haven't heard anything for this loud mouth so that's kind of surprising but I've been busy you know we're doing other stuff for the show I had a really checked out fox because fox has you know their recorded shows but what why would you hear what you find out well what happened was there was a bride and her bridle party they were all be headed by Boko haram yeah now these are people who are in I just wanna put it this way the role of a scene culture down there and there's same you know just beliefs and all that right well date they all look similar they all have the same there in Nigeria now if that's the case to to try to weave this in in a crazy way with Capper Nick the said that certain people were killing certain people of a certain segmentation now okay you have the squad telling us that they're being oppressed by a certain type of people this is something that should be front and center okay this is ridiculous they lose that absolutely hate crime there's a to find it and I'm not going to hide the fact this is a hate crime and they said this is going to happen due to people of that faith everywhere across the world now aside you mystic the racial and profiling now all these things are would stir the pot here in America but across the world should may be equally outraged days well you would think so but look what's going on in New York City you know in New York City all poor Jewish people over there under siege and it seems like it's the same group of people it's a bunch of nefarious people who claim to be the what is that the black Israeli I'd Sir Jewish yeah whatever and they're the ones behind it now I I saw the reports so it's not my conspiracy minor anything like admins reported right on fox news did that some of the women women are out there committing a lot of these crimes Zippo they're supposed to be hate crimes because you're all attacking him because white Jewish people and they happen to be you know the the the black Americans are they call himself the right Israeli I Jewish Israeli as I don't know what the Ted their title is right the pathetic excuse for their own inability to deal with the world around them but but but here's my here's my point you tell me if I'm right or wrong is that they are being as soon as they get arrested they are being cut loose they don't even have to poke post one dime one dollar and that's all because that time is mayor de Blasio and even the cops are up in arms about it and so that's what's going on these criminals are getting a free pass depending on who they're attacking and who they are or whatever that's what the people want to be outraged about because you know you brought about hate crimes they do not nuts about hate crimes in New York City yeah they're separate but equal hate crimes yeah well you know I don't know what the hell how they can justify it I mean how can you let these criminals get back out on the street to commit the same crime you know our server the next day well that that's almost like a contributory manslaughter when you know what could be a time and you don't do anything about it alright here's another thing tonight I'm not one these Hollywood types but tonight on the golden globes I hope the good lord above you solve this Ricky Gervais this when he said to these people don you know I only saw the headlines but I I I was gonna say lord what what is so sweet what do you say to say we were saying you had nothing to do with the real world because you're in Hollywood he he goes you you had I'm not educational experience you have less educational experiencing Greta Thornburgh I mean he just went on and on in the audience first reaction to this was fantastic the guy was he's not nine to make a name for himself he just relating to turn to these people and I don't know how a plant but you got to take a look at the stuff here I mean this was if you had the Lone Ranger housed in the golden glow yeah you could not have done any better than this this guy was on fire any told me said look gosh no you did because of my heart for what whatever Stein did to these girls what he's saying now they're all friends with these people we are all on the same room on the same level then in your here being hypocritical trying to accept an award for your your craft it was just really good well that well what I would have to check that out but here's a little Hey it is and that's encouraging because you know so much a Hollywood is so sleazy anymore but I I will say something here I got a laugh because you know you pry her we talk about it you know a bunch of the dumb **** over there to fake Facebook site they run their mouth about me over and over again and we'll wanna chips good buddies are two of them they ran their mouth about what they had as they go about movies in they were criticizing me because I said you know one of my favorite movies of once upon a time in Hollywood and guess what doggie yes who won the award for the best musical slash comedy movie this year where are you coming once upon a time in Hollywood I guess it out of the war for the best Supporting Actor Brad Pitt once upon a time in Hollywood guess who got the best script for a motion picture Quentin doubt Tarantino so poor little old Dave soon as I saw the movie right when it came out I made the prediction and told everybody about this movie one of the best movies of the year in here and won all kinds of awards tonight so that shows you what these D. A.'s over there to fake Facebook tips good bodies in them running their mouth about me what do I know about movies a blah blah blah so they can stick that in your pipe or a stick it somewhere else and if you know what I mean and our son was you said you read to the blue is not based one of the best movies that was contrary to the the theme of Hollywood it's some years ago called for yeah one baby okay and yeah all my gosh in the church scene with him talking about yeah we'll come in come in Clinton and all come in we'll take the pictures the act like they care and then they'll go away and you're gonna be stock with this crap you know you're going to be stuck with the people you vote for and you know jump in a few years out of that that's a tall to actually put together where people no longer are are being diluted by this crap you know I don't know what Obama said in his book trees my father he said it was plantation politics well you have an opportunity to get rid of this stuff and look at your children look at your wife the people that mean anything to you thank it rather this stuff because you being used so badly yeah we got to wrap up their dog you because I'm late for a break but let's go ahead and do it right here it a TN the Michael the tax doctor here with.

"Picked up a tiger beat to get pictures of Philip Ricky and now Philip McKeon a brother of Nancy McKeon he died he has died at the age of fifty five he was the it kit he was scared me Tammy even with the little boy with a girl's name on it on the show our Tammy Tammy mom my name is Tommy I know it is Tammy anyway so there's that I'm a little disorganized here sorry to tell you the news gathering has been scatter shot today because of some technical problems but I do have this Utah transit authority's former general counsel is suing the you TA for three hundred thousand dollars in deferred bonuses and benefits that leaders had voided the as unconscionable Lee high you T. A. is countersuing Bruce Jones alleging fraud and legal malpractice both lawsuits were filed Saturday in third District Court Jones contends in his lawsuit that the money was part of deals negotiated to keep his base salary lower in exchange for deferred payments when he retired and says that they are legal and binding now he was the the legal counsel employed by he was on the UT a so he said I took a lower salary then than normal than somebody else in my position would have and I'm sure it was I'm sure was poppers wage yeah and he said but I took a lower salary in the with the the promise that I would get bonuses when I retired severance package and bonuses which the UT a said we're not giving you which tooth it's too much Jones who was also past chairman of the Salt Lake county Bar Association and Salt Lake County Republican Party and the a former cottonwood heights city council member so you can see he's in league with saying no matter where he turns true that's true wealth is Jeff for cottonwood heights he was on the city council there and he tried to turn it to his will but couldn't anyway he he asserts that beauty a has refused to participate in arbitration as required by the contract so what that says is you know I didn't want to go to court with this we I was willing to our habit the arbitrated but they don't even want to do that so we have to go to court UTA's lawsuit contends your Jones represented both himself and you TA it's our negotiations on contracts that gave him the generous benefits but which were never approved by the U. T. a board and the agreement did not have the requisite two signatures seems legit so he isn't so he's the attorney who negotiated other people's salaries including his own well well Mister Jones what do you think you you deserve well Mister Jones I think that I could get you a Mister Jones I'm going to write down a figure on this piece of paper and then I'm going to slide it over to you yeah all well that sounds very generous acceptable you sell them move the decimal run about no that's not it that's well there we go so so that I don't know that how that whole and then you read there been problems with kind of compensation with UT a of board chairs and and and they're just you know they get paid a tremendous amounts of money what was under John English a member all of that stuff all that money and people think maybe that's too much let's see what else we have here there's a a group in Nevada conservative that could advocacy group that wants quick action from a Nevada judge to block a statewide red flag gun law allowing firearms to be taken from people deem to be a threat to themselves or others so this is a group that wants to make sure that violent boyfriends have the right to kill and to murder their girlfriends it's in the constitution that's right the it's the the NRA supports that and this this group in Nevada supports that you you we have the second amendment guarantees the right of deranged boyfriends and husbands to murder their domestic partners took its founding fathers wanted to absolutely it's in the constitution most of them were deranged these are people well again you know what that was well yeah see exactly cephalus bell had meant when Franklin brought it back from parents now they all have Jordan Dr Thomas Jefferson he spent entirely too much in the soul longs of agape it was that big hot tub party that they had that that was sandy as house pastor and I don't use I'm not sure can't get you can't get beat again remember I you grew up in Spanish for Dino Nebo school district so if you can't get the D. from hot you can get it from a toilet seat but not a lot now you can get it from Paris hands you know well Gina do you always get so alarmed when I say things like that because you never tell people you're kidding because people might believe you well I don't think our signal reaches Spanish work anymore sadly it still bugs I'm sorry we're gonna be there next week that's right number and we are today what's the rush the Chevy dealer down there it's someone's name does thank you we met we met dogs so some is my he's Doug Sohn is president of the Rocky Mountains that's right that's run Chevy dealers association came in the studio yeah and he's and a long time for a friend of our show nice to have it's always the Rocky Mount Chevy dealer should say joined up with us doing the road home things like it's been about seven years now six or seven years they've just been absolutely top just great yeah to rific top notch group really and and it makes it easy because then you can make your donations at your convenience because there's a rocky mountain Chevy dealer near you you can probably spell and sort of stalling because the musician but it's okay because we're talking about important stuff now good John Curtis representative Republican from Utah county is disappointing me he said you is it white this is a surprise to you had expect one thought maybe you were heard is really now I never had any faith he says he's he said he had said he was keeping an open mind when it came to the house impeachment acquiring new that's what he said but as house democratic leaders unveil two articles of impeachment against president trump abuse of power and obstruction of Congress Curtis says he's no longer on the fence I've tried throughout this process to keep an open mind sure right but the articles of impeachment before me have made this photo rather easy decision I will be voting against these two charges he said you know I you we recorded and I think it's available now online the band ochre group you can go wherever you find podcasts and get the of an ochre group and they astro one of the questions here and question the Chris had for us was who is your least favorite local politician and I said my least favorite local politician would have to be Chris Stewart men who who is your least favorite national politician and I said well I can put rob bishop there so I can kill you know two birds with one stone with those questions and you know it's funny I was talking to my ex wife this week we we we had the occasion to drive down the pace of together and so this is the first time we've talked a lot in the car and car rides are good yeah and I mean I enjoyed talking to her and I said what I mentioned rob bishop and she said oh I you know I went to school with him and I said really and she said yeah and I go man I hated him in high school so he's been he's been available in punchbowl sense than her apparently so let's see loves you one other quick story here let me find something a little me okay so the trump and bar what a team president trump and Attorney General William Barr took aim at the FBI on Tuesday at the skinny and Obama's F. B. R. yes it's Obama's FBI escalating their attacks on the bureau a day after an independent watchdog concluded that former FBI officials had adequate reason in twenty sixteen to open an investigation into the trump campaigns ties to Russia why did they think that well Paul mana for campaign manager had ties to Russia and Ukraine and he seems to be Mike Flynn my clan seem to and I know you will find that many of the steel dossier they were looking into it because of these two that many of these people are now in jail or facing jail time the but bar said for a second straight day that he disagreed with the finding in the long awaited report by the inspector general Michael Horowitz that the FBI lawfully opened its inquiry and he went further saying the Obama administration officials had spied on the president's associates and in the process jeopardize civil liberties so Horowitz the inspector general and Chris ray the head of the F. B. R. are both now standing up to the president both trump appointees by the way yeah and it's interesting to me that for instance ray is going to stand up to the president because he's not gonna he won't have his job now because of that now and he will and he's saying look the the and I was the F. B. O. L. I was not under his control when this happened okay was coming I believe yeah but ray said look we there were some problems there were a couple of problems that had nothing to do with this investigation yes there were problems in the FBI that should be addressed but but that has nothing to do with this investigation into the role of Russia meddling in the twenty sixteen election nuclear fusion and Michael Horowitz said the same thing and they will both testify to that everyone in Congress all right.

"The house of reference tubes. got that memo yesterday if they didn't know already he can be a level contentious. thanks for your many their calls and text to the show in the last half hour Eric Zorn was on I did not mean to take you all lost as much as we did join took exception to any Pinheiro the bears field goal kickers mentions of god and his faith in the reality of Jesus in his life. the call that nonsense. and some of you think Erica's full of nonsense a couple of last text John this reminded me of the story by Joe Garagiola remember the famous commentator and baseball catcher when the header came up to bat and crossed himself Joe did the same thing and then he said he can't help us both I always think of that story when I see or hear professional players do that but many many many of you are texting into the show to say things like god is in control I give her credit for everything John wait until you face life and death situation if your family is ever in a situation like that you better believe in god John here's a thought if he were a Muslim and gave thanks to Allah a lot of people would be having a fit right now but another that's representative here's the ones I was looking for her John so what that's how Eddie Pinheiro feels you don't have to make logic out of it a one five this young man seems like an upstanding guy and a good person just trying to do a good job we certainly have a lot more things that we could complain about leave him alone and one more the bottom line is we don't know the answer you don't know Eric or me we don't know what god is thinking or why he does what he does you can have an opinion but you don't know thanks for listening it's one forty three her somebody who does know about food restaurant critic for the Chicago Tribune on Wednesdays joins us that's at this time fill the tell he's on the phone today hi Phil how are you. hi John I'm great thank you good to hear your voice last week when you visited with us right at the end of the show we got a flood of text messages and email from people in our flash price again and they said what about this what about this what about this did you take the right notes with you I did I took them to heart did you do your homework Phil I did can we do it the top then it just kind of work our way down and then we'll go to your marcato kachina review absolutely. who has the best hot dog. my usual and you yeah basically nobody there are there are maybe. I thought you know shut out I thought you were going to work on this for me that does not sound like someone who did their homework I would say if you care about three different kinds of hot dogs available had drug stores around in the entire Chicago area you know it's gonna be for its red hot subject so I prefer Vienna beef so if a place is yet to be that's going to be on my list but. depending on the road the best hot dog for me as well probably the one that's close by when I'm when I'm going to wear what I want I want one yeah I'm not gonna drive past big guys in Berlin just to get to Super dog right I'm not going to leave the city necessarily to get up to gene in Jude's. even though I like it I love that the winner circle does a great job Portillo's where which show you're always you never to more than twenty five minutes for a Portillo's I don't think in this market I'm fond of all those will fees Jimmy's red hot devil dogs they they all do do they all do a fine job and they all do basically the same job they're working off the same basic hot dog the using US of steamed bun they're using the the traditional toppings if you want something a little different I would send you over to docking in in in in Bridgeport for the duck fat hot dogs which combination of pork and doc in them which are very good or to center field and regularly where the hot dogs kiosk is where you can get three different types of dogs all of lace sometimes they're Polish and sometimes their brides name for old cubs player that is the only hot dog that is disappointed be in the city this year I your your first point I completely concur with I've never gone to a hot dog stand and thought Gee that wasn't very good it's a hot dog with mustard and relish in some celery sauce in its seeds and it's terrific but the one at hot dogs in center field at Wrigley Field I got their specialty hot dog it's all the rage I don't remember what it was called now who is named after it was a disaster. yeah well let's see you're the restaurant critic and everybody gets to be their own judge but right well I thought as the funding you pay your money you get your money you make your choice you can you get to criticize that Doug Sohn will be heartbroken I'm sure. yeah because it does change it up to the hot dog you get to a billable on one on the stand probably won't be available to home stands hence well I might be there tonight so we'll see Hey how about a home stands are we sell the week at games we got a games all week through Sunday and then it's then it's see you in April unless we get a home playoff CEO in April when you're talking about they're going to be playing in October in Chicago. Lisa. Hey Jeff Phil where should I take my son for steak on his eighteenth birthday yes they tell your Chicago has great steak houses for sure and we have an eighteen year old we can usually a Lucas steak house are spectacular well what's the wireless like but with an eighteenth birthday we don't care what the wireless is right this poor lad is not going to have anything to drink so I would say for for for good since star power I would send them to our PM steak sixty six west Kinzie in river north it's very it's it's it's it's very glitzy it's on two levels you just I walked in the first time and I thought Manisha brought my truck Seto because it's that cool and refined there and beef of course is is is is first rate you can get that or other places as well but that would be some kind of Daschle somebody on a birthday I think I would do I think I would do RPM steak so where's the fun unique affordable date night in the northwest burbs that one drove me nuts because the northwest burbs contain. probably encompasses twenty square miles or whatever it is. so I took some assumptions and so first I thought is use Mandarin which is in Schaumburg on golf road there it's a it's a call full Chinese restaurant over the menu is not complete he's not one hundred percent Chinese one of the things they do is they hand pull their own noodles and on weekends where I'm assuming this first date is taking place they will do our hand pulling neural demonstrations that you can see from the dining room and that is definitely kind of fun and it's not gonna be terribly expensive yeah and it's colorful and and and its relation side who doesn't want one who doesn't want a hand pulled noodle on a first date so that's that's nice to hear you got to watch these guys do it is pretty this for theatrical also in Arlington Heights restaurant called shock who you've got several locations actually I pounced on this one in the northwest suburbs and that's that's a sushi specialist very upscale contemporary decor suitable for a first date very nice what about their choice Austrian cruelly also on tonight's on his road more in the rustic theatrical Italian kind of way they get a you know full full walls and things like that but solid solitary and food. and in the same vein RGO Italian bistro in palatine one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the suburbs northwest burbs unique affordable fun date night restaurants from fill the tell we'll post all of these answers on my Facebook page after the show I'm WG and King John if you're not taking notes John a good cocktail where should we take them they want some good beef too so I guess this is made out of jail back to steak houses with these guys in the west coast they had breast close friends they want to take out for B. from cocktails RPM I would double up on I also again because of the cocktail thing I love the way they handle cocktails and wine at maple and ash in the in the Gold Coast so that's another one and then for the off beat one we'll have a lot of fun is will more into it would be best house at ten twelve north Western Avenue that's a that's a small place they don't really have a whole lot of steaks on the menu only three or four so there are more things to eat because he said the other caller said that the the west coast friends were not afraid of beef on quote me I think that it made me think that non stick options were were still on the table for them so for the more varied menu and the cocktail and and very they take they they treat their cocktails with respect their but house at ten twelve northwestern any how do you spell that fill the friend she way B. O. E. U. F.. H. a U. S. house I. all right it's more German and French that I'm looking at it yeah no kidding well let's do this I'm gonna play commercial come back and give us by the way Phil found a Mexican restaurant that's new that is fabulous it's in a place you might not expect to find it now where is that this new magazine place hold on hold on hold on that that's a that's what you are going to tell us after this..

Eight seven seven eight nine seven eight to five five that's eight seven seven eight nine seven talk, and I actually have a question for Suncoast roofing already. Yes. So that's Doug from Suncoast roofing. You can find them at eight eight roof Tampa Bay style specialist amongst other things, and it's does Suncoast roofing come to citrus county. They're ready for a new roof up there. Unfortunately John at this time Doug. What's your coverage area? Well recently, I mean, we actually don't even do Pasco as much mostly Pinellas and Hillsborough. Ellison hillsborough. All right. Well, maybe maybe we can find a reputable company for them. That's actually, my, my mom. Oh. Peggy. That's possible goes all over the state. I mean, I've done obviously roofs all over the state, but you see what happens when you're a friend of the business. Happy hour, we go outside of our service area for you and your friend of the business happy are thanks for listening peg, you're our one of our number one listeners and mom, you probably a close second. I don't know. You don't on Facebook, so it's hard to tell so that other voice you just heard is none, none other than Mr Ryan palca, the owner of Tampa Bay plumbers. How're you doing today? Ryan gone. Crazy. It tastes plumbers gone. Crazy. I think he did do that on occasion, dole. Look up Tampa, Bay plumbers don't look Tampa Bay plumbing. Well, if you do, you'll see they're nowhere near is highly rated. That's right. That's right. You got the right company with Ryan and the best way to find them as eight one three Plummer. That's right. Eight one three Plummer. Tampa Plummer dot net. That's right. And. Yeah, we we or just bugle Tampa Plummer, plumbers in Tampa. Still number one on Google. Right. We're, we're always up in that we're always up in there. You know, you can't dominate every search every time. But that's right. You can try though. If I if I I'd be Google if I if I did good. But no, I say I'm going crazy because of this, this, this damn field integration that we did is has been a major disaster for us, and we've been battling with it now for almost two months. We've lost a lot of revenue can't find money money's missing. That's awful. It's, it's really big problem. So we talked about it the other, I think last show actually about the operating system. That companies go with that's enough to like, you know sink a company. Yeah, I mean it's, it's, it's a very stressful situation. I'll tell you. I mean, I've got really good people working on it myself included. I was at the shot this morning at five AM. And I worked until nine o'clock last night. So, you know, I mean when you when you when you any business owner, any stage in your career this is almost been twenty years. I've been in this and, you know, and here I am going in the shop at five AM you know, to solve problems. That's what you gotta do. Sometimes, you know, that's what it's all about. Well, it's what I said to Ryan, remember walking into the studio this morning said Manua, you're dressed like you work for a plumbing company. Yeah. Sometimes that's, that's the boss getting in the trenches have been in the trenches with the guys in the team. And I'm trying to get this matter this problem. Resolve, you know, we, we did this, which with the best intentions, but now we're moving to the arguably the most premier operating platform. I should've been in the trenches for a long time this year trenches since since July. I mean, since his all integration stopping doing as much commercial and. Yeah. Switch everything. For more service Ryan. What want you break. It down case. Some of the listeners weren't listening in the last couple of weeks. What, what is it? You're changing your, your software, your integrate what, what exactly where you but you're making a big change, but explained to us what you were doing. So when you when you run a service business, you know, you, you especially one that has a lower job average or really any business. I think that you're operating platform is one of the most important things that you have. And it's one of the most important things that you do back in the day, we used to have to pie carbon copy invoices, all the service companies did, right. You go out there. Technician hand handwriting invoice and takes it back to the office. And the office inputs it into their system and all that. Well, I mean, if you if you're still operating that way it's incredibly difficult to compete with companies like mine. That have the new technology built into their program. If it's running correctly, you should be much more efficient with your dispatching, you should be more efficient with your invoicing your quotes. I mean, I can my guys can generate quotes out in the field in seconds and get these jobs approved on the spot versus having to go back to the office. Right up professional quote, you know, or call somebody tweeted system of. So if you're still doing business that way, you're you've kind of lost you kind of got lost in the shuffle. But, you know, all that technology can can hurt you just as bad. And that's what we've discovered here with this with this new integration that we did very, very disappointed. Like I said, we spent a lot of money integrating, this new illeg technology that, that we that we put into place. And it has been just one giant disaster. So, but, but in the end they technology is going to change her. Yeah, we had a platform before this. So I mean we've been running. Platform in six months. The yeah, yeah, this'll be my third operating system in six months. Now, the one I had before, then, you know, I, I had for seven years. In fact, our database got so large hundreds of thousands of jobs. You know, that was the main reason why we had to switch our file sizes got so normal that it was bogging down. You outgrew this often outgrew the saw. That's a common business problem. Right. To appoint you outgrow you will have to do this in your career over time. You know, you're going to have to switch platforms, you have to switch ideas. Now, I, I wish I had switched to service titan in the past the cost of service titans. What basically you know, we went with we went with feel that because of the cost of service site, and, you know, the license for my company was over sixty grand for service, titan for the year. Wow. And it's only twenty four thousand for field edge. So still, I mean. In the in the rim of business. You get what you pay for pay for Pitt. I'll tell you though. It's not like I was being cheap twenty four thousand dollars for an annual licence cheap not cheap. Now. I mean granted this isn't a Mickey Mouse plumbing shop, you know, we do a lot of calls thousands of month. So yeah, it's expensive. But we make a lot of money if we should make a lot of money, right? We have making a lot of money. You're losing a lot of money. I've been hemorrhaging cash. So, you know, I guess as far as what I can say what I've taken away from this is, you know, you gotta you gotta do your due diligence as much as you possibly can when you're looking for these types of operating systems. And if you do make a mistake, you gotta just you gotta plug forwarding and find a better solution, you can't sit on that bad decision and let it sink your ship, because it, positively will you have no one to cut bait. You gotta you gotta know when you got to cut and run. Because, you know, I I mean I don't think I could take much more of this. But in the end, I think that they'll silver lining is that the, the changes you're making for the better the company and you're going through a speed bump. So to, to business owners know that there's going to be speed bumps out there. You're gonna face them the best thing you can do can do is be prepared for them yet face them head on face them head over give up quit. But, but be prepared monetarily I think a lot of businesses, and I hate to say this, but I think a lot of them run checkbook to checkbook or check to check paycheck to take that whatever's the word and you can't do that as a business. I have a good friend who who who runs a, a business. I'm not gonna give out names or anything. But he, he ran into a major speed bump where he his business got robbed. And they kept a lot of cash, and, and, you know, first of all big mistake, okay? But the reserves got stolen. Oh my God. And so he ran into some problems couldn't pay some bills that became a snowball, and it's all because the business didn't have enough reserve sitting there and, and it could just. Be a bad month. They're bad, you know, lawsuit or something like that. Ensure that the bay. A lot of credit. No. Well the cash. Yeah. And we've talked about this on the show before Doug, Doug introduce, I'm the mortgage guy in Doug somehow introduces to me, why don't you have a business line of credit? I never thought about that. But a business line of credit in disguise situation could have saved the day. All that money in cash. That's a whole, that's a whole another lesson to be learned is don't whole 'nother show. That's a whole 'nother show. Don't leave that kind of money around in cash safe is bolted to the floor of the concrete floor. Where's it at my? Like specifically. You're going to need a crane. He's. I mean I don't know. It's going to have to be like the Bank job you, don't you don't. You guys use cranes to get the stuff on the roof. Right. Hold on. Putting this out and Gary operate one. All right. Guys, we're going to take a break, Texas employees. Can take all the cash. Knows the coat. What's the code?.

"Website is linked up at coast to coast, AM dot com. Several of his books include phantoms, and monsters, mysterious encounters phantoms of monsters, unexplained encounters in the book that just came out alien disclosure experiencers, expose reality, tell me about that second part of the title experiencers, expose reality lawn. Well, you know, since I have had direct contact with a lot of experiences people. Have you had close encounters or have had? Yeah. Actually deductions. They, they seem to be the ones where the truth is ROY coming and, you know, they're they are very sincere in what they experienced and, you know, I've. You know, I feel they've taken taken the time to talk to me to call me. And that, you know, the way they react to the way, you know, things you know, things have happened to them and continuously having experiences. I think the real truth is coming from the experiences themselves. When people call in reports on these winged humanoids. What did they say? How do they start? You're not gonna believe will roll. The overall statement that these people see our say you know, they, they will put in wing being or something on Google. My name will come up, and then they'll tell me, you know, you're not gonna believe what I saw, but I saw something that I can't explain and maybe you can help me. And that's kind of work goes that would how many times would you listen to these kinds of stories in reports lawn and you went, I wonder what this guy's been doing your those, I mean, you know, some of the reports I'll mid were a little bit way out there. Yeah. Not believable. But you know, you got to separate the, the week from the chaff and, you know, you, you take the time with them, and don't really don't ask a lot of questions because when you ask a lot of questions you start getting belly judgment, and I felt that the. Let them speak the peace. Tell me what they saw, and then we'll go from there, but, you know, if they go into detail from the beginning and then refused on belly, but they told me, I'm I figure it to say that something something really hasher say in. What do you think the alien agenda Islam? What, what are they doing? I think it's overall. It's biological and technological singularity. I think this has been what they have wanted from the very beginning. I think they have wanted to condition and engineer, the, the evolving primate. I mean humans on many, many millennia ago, and they wanna use us for any means they feel necessary, and they're doing it and they're doing it back to the phones. Ernest is with us in San Antonio, Texas, high Ernest go ahead. Morning. Thanks to my call. Sure. I something that happened to me. I when I was seventeen I got off work, and I walked in heaven, and I heard something flapping in the year. And I, I, I got scared. Sure. No. And I, I looked up and I saw it. And I fall cloth and it's been close to pretty close to me. And. I kinda ran and, and I saw it and I saw it, it had read is why flash did it. Did it look like it had feathers or not honest? Yes, I did it had. It had been a feathers and it had. But it had been win. It had big wings. It had a big clogs. It had a big sounds like the Thunderbirds did swoop down at you to try to get you. Yes. Yes. Linked to my head. Could've taken away. Oh, I'm, I'm, I'm sure it could've. And I run in. Little bit. I turn back and it was sawed standing on the curb, it was standing there on the curb staring at me, with, with the big wings without big Greg is what color was black lack. Yes, it was black. What, what does it sound like you lawn? Yeah. Probably thunderbird. Yeah. There are there are a variety of large bird reports. But, you know, I guess the overall description or name for it is the Thunderbirds. So there are a lot of big, huge bird sightings throughout the United States, and Canada, Mexico. The book that you're going to have crip that's on the next one any pictures. I may have if you have a lot now, but I may have a few by, then let's get them. Let's go. First time caller Ed in Windsor was -sconsin. Hey, ed. Go ahead. Thank you for taking my call back in seventy one, I was in a car on old county road on northern Wisconsin with my grandmother neighbor, lady, and two other kids and my sister. We drove up onto a house that it was a spacecraft at the back end of while with the white on it was about fifteen feet wide. And during this time period. The cars stopped threes. Short aliens ran up to us, whether it looks like there were short and I had one right by the door was right behind the thrive, then look like little humans are more like those alien grays. Oh, I'm sorry. It was a gray. No, they were grace. Okay. Yeah. Is that really kind of freaked me out? What did they want to? They want you folks. No, they were just checking us out, making sure we weren't a threat from what I can never because they took off and the car started again. Wow. It took off. But that in somebody five about two miles down the road at our cottage, my grandmother, and I got taken that was the experience. You remember that? I remember everything I've had some encounters throughout my life. My god. Did you have to undergo any hypnosis? No. But I have a question for you, gentlemen. Okay. Progress summoned tall something on and something really short next to it on its right side. Any idea what that is? Talk radio and I've had the same experiences with them. I've never heard of Paul grace lawn. Yeah. Yeah. They come in all sizes. I mean as far as I goes, but I have had to encounters in my home of tall grays, anywhere from six five and six foot tight do they communicate via telepathy? You know, I've heard that I didn't really sensitive type of communication with them that they seem to be able to project images. But as far as some type of words and such I never experienced. What do you think of the Loch Ness, monster lawn? Have you ever investigated that case? Yeah. You know, I the Loch Ness, monster personally seems a bit out of reach as far as I'm concerned, but, you know, there, there are a lot of theories that are starting to come up now as far as these things may be inner dimension was well, that they're able to move between lakes or locations. I don't know if that's true or not. I you know, I it seems to me that if, if there was a breeding population of the these underwater beings in the lake there'd be some type of evidence, but, you know, I, I don't discount anything but I I'd be honest with you. It seems hard for me to fathom. What about the animal mutilations, do you come across any of those anymore? Occasionally we'll get one. You know, these are the one only something that you'll find out in western rancher such around this area. I, I really haven't had any of any of those, but, you know, you hear about a lot of them. You sure do. Next up, Doug Sohn New Jersey. Take it away. Douglas. Yes. Good evening, gentlemen. Hey, doug. Yeah. I was gonna ask your guest there. I know he does a lot of research and whatnot. So you look at videos and whatnot. I on the net. I do you know it's getting harder and harder to re to rely on video evidence nowadays, it seems like there's so much the reason why I is I had a video that I had shot an, the, the farro Matt moneymaker. He got in touch with me and they wound up using it for feature on finding Bigfoot on the animal planet. I probably looked at your video. Doug is probably did they call it the New York baby Bigfoot. We were out of music festival. And my buddy was just getting the campfire going. And he was so proud of it. I was videotaping him, and I had no idea. This was going on in the background. This is creature crawling around a tree, and it was taken in ninety seven. Oh, I know what video you're talking. Yeah. That's very good job. And I didn't I didn't notice it until two thousand and two. To right. I showed it to a friend of mine, and he says, he, he pulled out his his laptop and went right to be at farro, and said, you gotta make a copy this ascended and he says, we're going to fill out a report for an. So why, why are you saying that he says, look at that thing he says, that's, that's not a raccoon or a possum or something, they're eight righty? So that's, that's, that's two arms and two, and it never its legs never touched a branch. It's why it swung through the tree. In fact, you can go online and find it just near baby Bigfoot you can go, but you didn't know you had it on tape until later. Right. Exactly. Ninety seven it wasn't until two thousand and two that I had found as how what happened was, I got a little careless and the tape started piling up around the house. And the MRs got on me, she says, what are you going to go ahead and do something with these? I said, I pulled them out, and I started converting them over on VHS. And I was just, you know, speed in them. So I wasn't watching him. I was just going about doing that wanna tape ended up coming in put another one was she was sitting there in the room doing something. And she looked over in seeing this and started yelling Samir, look at all. Wow. One who noticed it and I came in. I slowed it down. We wild it. I played it again. And again, and I, I was amazed. I was totally amazed. I showed it to a friend of mine, who I knew was a real big foot enthusiast, and he pulled out his op top. And he says he says, there's a hundred sites pieces, but I just this is the one you go to, and he's got it meets. It'd be farro. I met Matt moneymaker guy a very good and, and Bobo Fe and Renee. I'm cliff and I sent the level for me and pick me up here in jersey and took me back to upstate New York with the event happened and it was a fantastic experience to watch these people work and then to realize that what is I was talking till they're oh, we're on the road. Sometimes five months outta the year. They're gone on their guy. Every other night, we're in a different motel every every couple of days, where in a different state, and I, I was, I was amazed by you know, just listening to their stories and some of the things that didn't make it to air, but, you know, that they that, that, you know, 'cause time they weren't filming you're taping, and you know what do you think the creature was Doug? They've got me convinced because even on the show, they said that they had spoken with and shown the film to Jane Goodall, and she looked at it, and she said, I'm not gonna say that. That's a champion Z. She says, but it's the closest thing that I've ever seen. And that thing is not fully grown yet. And so I don't think you can get much more credit than that. I mean know she's a there's a top of the line when it comes when it comes to this year is well, Doug. Thank you for the call. And it's great that you're one of our coast to coast listeners have that was an amazing piece of film, lawn. Yeah. It was. I mean it was definitely a primate of some type. "Launch Strickler lawns. Website is linked up at coast to coast, AM dot com. Several of his books include phantoms, and monsters, mysterious encounters phantoms of monsters, unexplained encounters in the book that just came out alien disclosure experiencers, expose reality, tell me about that second part of the title experiencers, expose reality lawn. Well, you know, since I have had direct contact with a lot of experience people of your the had close encounters are have had. Yeah. Actual adoptions. They, they seem to be the ones where the truth is ROY coming and, you know, they're they are very sincere what they experienced and, you know, I've. You know, I feel that they've taken taking the time to talk to me to call me. And that, you know, the way they react to the way, you know, being seen things have happened to them and continuously having experiences. I think the real truth is coming from the experiences themselves. When people call in reports on these winged humanoids, what do they say? How do they start? You're not gonna believe assault. Overall? The overall statement that these people see our say. You know, they, they will put in wing being or something on Google. My name will come up, and then they'll tell me, you know, you're not gonna believe what I saw, but I saw something that I can't explain and maybe you can help me and that's kinda work. Goes that would how many times would you listen to these kinds of stories in reports lawn and you went? I wonder what this guy's been doing your those. I mean, you know, some of the reports I'll met or a little bit way out there not believable. But, you know, you got separate those the week from chaff and, you know, you, you take the time with them, and don't really don't ask a lot of questions because when you ask a lot of questions you start getting him belly. And I've, I've felt that the let them speak that piece tell me what they saw, and then we'll go from there, but, you know, if they go into detail in the beginning, and then refused to embellish them, but they told me I'm I figure, it's a safe bet something something really after to it. What do you think the alien agenda is lawn? What, what are they doing? I think it's overall, it's biological and technological singularity. I think this is been. What they have wanted from the very beginning. I think they have wanted to condition and engineer, the, the evolving primate. I mean, humans many, many millennia ago, and they wanna use us for any means they feel necessary, and they're doing it and they're doing it back to the phones. Ernest is with us in San Antonio, Texas high. You're go ahead. Morning. Thanks to my call. Sure. I have something that happened to me. I when I was seventeen I got work, and I was walking head. And I heard something flapping in the air and. I, I you know, I got scared. Sure. No. And I, I looked up, and I saw wings. And I fall cloth and it seemed close to pretty close to me. And I kinda ran and, and, and I saw it and I saw it, it had read is why did it looked like it had feathers or not honest? Yes, it did foolish. It had. It had a little bit of feathers, and it had. But it had big win. It had big wings. It had a big clause. It had a big sounds like the Thunderbirds did it swooped down at you to try to get you? Yes yes to my head. Could've taken away. Oh, I'm, I'm, I'm sure it could've and Iran. Little bit. I turn back around and it was saw spending on the curb, it was standing there, and the crib, staring at me with wait a big win. Big Greg is what color was black black. Yes, it was black. Yeah. What, what does that sound like to you lawn? Probably a Thunderbird. You know, there, there are a variety of large bird reports. But you know I guess the overall description or name for it is the founder bird. So there are a lot of big, huge bird sightings throughout the United States, and Canada, Mexico. The books that you're gonna have cryptos on the next one any pictures. I may have if you want now, but I may have a few by, then let's get them. Let's go first time caller in Windsor, Wisconsin. Hey add go ahead. Thank you for taking my call back in seventy one, I was in a car on old county road and northern Wisconsin with my grandmother neighbor, lady, and two other kids and my sister. We drove up onto a house that it was a spacecraft at the back end of what the light on fifteen feet wide. And during this time period. The car stopped with three short aliens ran up to us. What that looks like they were short and I had one right by the door. I was right behind the thrive. They look like little humans are more like those alien grays. Oh, I'm sorry. It was a gray though. They were grace. Okay. Yeah, it was really kind of freaked. Now, what do they want to they want you folks? No, they were just checking us out, making sure we weren't a threat from what I can. Because they took off and the car started again. Wow. It took off. But in seventy five about two miles down the road at our cottage, my grandmother, and I got taken that was the experience. You remember that? I remember everything I've had some encounters. In life. My did you have to undergo any hypnosis? No. But I have a question for you, gentlemen. Okay. Progress, somebody tall something on and something really short next to it on its right side. Any idea what that is? It's, it's all great. I've had the same experiences with them. I've never heard of coal grace lawn. Yeah. They come in all those sizes I mean as far as I goes, but I have had to encounters in my home of tall grays, anywhere from six five six foot height. Do they communicate via telepathy? You know, I've heard that I didn't really sense, any type of communication with them they seem to be able to project images. But as far as some type of words and such I never experienced. What do you think of the Loch Ness, monster lawn? Have you ever investigated that case? Yeah. You know I the lot Ness, monster. Personally seems a bit outta reach as far as I'm concerned, but, you know, there, there are a lot of theories that are starting to the come up now as far as these things may be entered dimension was well, that they're able to move between lakes or locations. I don't know if that's true or not. I you know, I it seems to me that if there was a reading population of the bees underwater beings in the lake there'd be some type of evidence, but, you know, I, I don't discount anything but I I'd be honest with you. It just it, it seems hard for me to fathom. What about the animal mutilations, do you come across any of those anymore? Occasionally we'll get one. You know, these are normally something that you'll find out in western rancher such around this area. I really haven't had any of any of those, but, you know you hear about a lot of you sure do. Next up, Doug Sohn New Jersey. Take it away. Douglas. Yes. Good evening, gentlemen. They dug. Yeah. I was gonna ask your guest there. I know he does a lot of research and whatnot. So you look at videos and whatnot. I on the net. I do you know it's getting harder and harder to re to rely on video evidence nowadays, it seems like there's so much. The reason why that is I had a video that I had shot and the, the BFRL Matt moneymaker he got in touch with me, and they wound up using it for feature on finding Bigfoot on the animal planet. I probably looked at your video, Doug. Is that right? Probably did they call it the New York baby Bigfoot. We were out of music festival, and my buddy was just getting the campfire going. And he was so proud of it. I was videotaping him, and I had no idea. This was going on in the background. This is this creature crawling around tree, and it was taken in ninety seven. What video you're talking. It's very good job and I didn't I didn't notice it until two thousand and two. Right. I showed it to a friend of mine, and he says, I, he pulled out his, his laptop and went right to a BFRL and said, you gotta make a copy this ascended in. He says, we're gonna fill out a report for like. By. So why, why are you saying that he says, look at that thing he says, that's, that's not a raccoon or a possum or something? They're eight righty. So that's, that's that's two arms in too late. And it never its legs. Never touched a branch. It's why it's one through the tree. In fact, you can go online and find that it just New York baby Bigfoot you can go, but you didn't know you had it on tape until later. Right, exactly, filmed it, and ninety seven it wasn't until two thousand and two that I had found found that what happened was, I got a little careless and the tape started piling up around the house and the missus goddamn me. She's are you going to go ahead and do something with these? I said, I pull them out, and I started converting them over onto VHS and I was just, you know, speed them. So I wasn't watching him. I was just going about when the tape ended up coming and put another one. And while she was sitting there and the room doing something, and she looked over in seeing this and started yelling. Some look at this. Wow. Was the one who noticed it and I came in. I slowed it down. I we wound it. I played it again. And again and I was amazed. I was totally amazed. I showed it to a friend of mine, who I knew was a real big foot enthusiast, and he pulled out his op top. And it says here he's a hundred sites. He says, but I just this is the one you go to and he is guided me be farro. I met Matt moneymaker guy a very good and, and Bobo Fe and Renee. I'm cliff and I sent a limo for me and pick me up here in jersey. Took me back to upstate New York with the event happened and it was a fantastic experience to watch these people work and then to realize that when I was talking to them. They're oh, we're on the road. Sometimes five months addity. They're gonna there. Every every other night, we're in a different motel every every couple of days, we're in a different state. And I, I was I was amazed by you know, just listening to their stories and some of the things that, that make it to air, but, you know, that they that, you know, 'cause they weren't filming taping and you know what do you think the creature was Doug? They've got me convinced because even on the show, they said that they had space spoken with good shown films..

"As always so happy to have you with me one of the most successful pitching coaches of this generation will be the featured guest today at one o'clock on the campus of ram oppo college as professional baseball instruction percents. Their twenty nineteen coaches seminar. Our guest tutored in Atlanta staff that pitched its way to fourteen consecutive division. Titles finished first or second in the IRA twelve times guided six Cy Young award winners nine twenty game winners had ten different pitchers name to the National League all star team and put three of its pitchers into the hall of fame. We welcome back. Ted Randall's talking baseball number fifty four Leo Mazzone. Great to have you back. Welcome back to the neighborhood. Thanks, and it's always good to come up here. And be with Doug Sohn Ila though. They do such a good job working with kids. But the message we're trying to get out. Doug. I is let's call it coaching seminar. In other words, we're finding out when we go around talking about healthy arms as you. Well know, you've been a big part of it that the coaches need instruction more than the kids. It'd be actually honest with you because some of the information that's being put out there. It's become a little bit ridiculous, and it's causing a lot of unnecessary arm injuries. So we're gonna do a coaching seminar on pitching, and they're also going to have you know, the coaches how to run better baseball practices. Get organized for baseball practices and do stuff on the field that had pertains to baseball not some some type of gimmick. You know? They were saying we're talking about keeping players healthy. And how to go about it? And that's the bottom line because the rash of injuries for youngsters really gotten crazy. And as you well know when we were up here before which I'm John and Dr Ahmad, but he two percent of Tommy John surgery is now are occurring from nineteen years of age and under and that's because of the crazy information being put out there about how hard you're supposed to throw baseball. I think the last time you were on the show. You said this eighty seven percent of pitchers who appeared in a major league game in two thousand seventeen had Tommy John surgery. It's ridiculous. The number that, you know, I it and here's the bottom line. What it is is. They're starting to there's nothing wrong with throwing a baseball year round. If you're traveling teenage all star, kid, or whatever. But doing it competitively year round is what's putting a toll on the arms. And then when by the time, they're eighteen they're already having arm of the thirty year old kid that doesn't mean we wanted to scare anybody from playing believe me if it was me I'd grown up out of played as many games, I possibly good. But the bottom line is this and no time in my career as a youngster or as a professional pitcher or as a major league pitching coach ever bring up the word velocity. I never brought it up because I never cared about it. I didn't care about it. I cared about location changes speeds movements, and if a guy can pitch you can pitch, but this is all changed. Now, I had a meeting out in Arizona with a major league club. Who wanted me to talk to him about how to set up their farm system pitching? And I had one pitchy. I said, look I said your top arms should all accumulate some innings to learn how to pitch, but there you're taking away innings from them. Basically is what you're doing. And now you're just going out there and thrown as hard as you can in a short spurt or short period of time as opposed to throwing more often with less exertion is one coach as well. Because you know, I said, I don't believe you make a closer able what are they gonna learn pitching one inning. And so the guy says well since you've been out of the game. Leo, they they they throw a lot harder now. So maybe maybe we we can make them closers down Avon. I said you didn't hear a word. I said your arms should start. If you're thinking of a guy that closure that means he's one of your best arms. He should start to learn how to pitch and I gave him examples two great examples was Steve Bedrosian and Kent Mercker both were real good had long careers as relievers in the big lakes, but they have started all their games in the minors. Right. You learn how to pitch I but everybody everybody wants to do. Now is go on a radar gun. Hell just subtract five miles an hour from it because you know, they don't time it coming across plate anymore. And everybody gets and kids are being told, you know, you don't make a team unless you had a certain number on a radar gun. And I'm there trying to convince the coaches to tell against that. Because the first thing the youngsters gonna do is try to Jack it up and air goes all they know about city, right? Exactly all they know about his philosophy. We're going to talk about that future. Time would the remarks that you've just made we're gonna expand on that. And we're gonna end we will do that in the coming weeks. But I want you to tell the audience what you told me yesterday when I called to invite you to come on the show about what's going on in Atlanta's camp right now would Fulton knavish. Well, you know, he he's not going to be ready for for opening day. And he's not he's not gonna be ready for for a while. They said because they need to get him stretched out the five innings stretch down till the eighty. Eighty out for five innings. The other thing I heard was you know, they use thirty one pictures last year. Right. And they said, well, I guess that shows a lot of deaths in the pitchy. Bitching. And I looked a lot of damage that means you can't find all good ones. Everybody's breaking down. And then that's not only there. But it's across the world of baseball. I mean, you guys are you know, it's it all gets back to see how hard somebody can throw on. It's really ridiculous. But anyway, yeah. Get stretched up to five innings. Let's see what else. Can we? Make. Getting them to five innings at least that takes them. It makes it impossible for him to have to go through the lineup. Three times. That's right. That's right. I had a I had a coach asked me about that. What do you think of the statistical analysis that you're going through the lineup? Third time is you're asking for it. I said I think that's called a manager covering his ass because he's gonna take the pitcher out to avoid being second. Guessed by the analytical, nerds, what happened to a lot there to respond to what what happened to this. So many people in our audience coaches in our audience this morning, you and me in the Pacific coast league when we were kids what happened to the concept of the hitters will tell you. Oh, absolutely. I mean, that's all tell you. What what you know dictate? You know, as far as they're going to tell you a sound of the ball off the bat. No question about it. And here's the thing to the bottom line is as you know. And I told you this story before Hank Aaron Eddie Mathews two of the greatest hitters in the history of the game. I happen to be my boss is in the minor leagues. And they said just remember one thing we can time jet coming through the strike zone. If we see it often enough. Hitting the bottom line is that. You know, we want at when I was growing up in pitch. And I wanted to command a fast ball and change speeds. Now, it really didn't matter to me through the hitter. Was you know, it's it's and and the bottom line is anytime you over a period of a game. Like, I remember when I was nineteen years old. You can look it up on my little baseball card when I was nineteen when I completed eighteen games when I was nineteen years old at one fifteen of them. But then you felt like it was a failure. If you didn't have a complete game as a starter. Now. Here's your thing to spring training. Like, you're gonna get stressed out to five Bobby Cox. And I always felt that if you got stretched out the seven in the spring training game say, for example, you got in seven innings and around ninety pitches, or so or whatever, you know, then you are ready to open up the season to go nine innings. You know, and you could still do that today. But nobody I don't know what we're all this stuff is coming from as far as getting a pitchers started to go five there. Relievers starting the game in the first and in and all this other crap. I said, you know, it just it kinda insults. Your intelligence because I would like to go to every one of those teams ED's. They look have you guys. It's ninety one to ninety three. We had a very young young pitchers. Right. Very well. From ninety one to ninety three I rotated may five hundred thirty seven starts we missed one start. So you must have loved the idea when the Oakland A's had a great second half push their way into the playoffs. Into the play in game against the Yankees and started an opener. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you know, I mean, I. Atta. It's beyond me. Let me let me go to this. And tell me if this is beyond you perspectively baseball is going to impose a minimum three batter rule for relief for relief pitchers, you're laughing. Now you. You did supervise pitchers warming up to come in and face one batter. Those guys are becoming extinct. What do you think prospectively of baseball? Imposing this rule. Well, the first thing you have to do. And and and I did this prior to when there was no rule 'cause I wanna relievers the face more than one hitter was I did everything I could to have all our relievers develop a straight change. So that they it would negate lefty lefty righty righty matchups all the time. So in other words, if you have a pitcher. If they adapted rule if I'm the pitching coach adjusting to that rule. You got to really make sure that the guy that's the face three three hitters has more than one pitch. In other words, he has to have be able to change speeds. For example, we brought say we had Mike gremlins your for four years or so there was in the bullpen. He was our setup guy. He was left handed, and we couldn't wait for them to pinch hit a right hander. 'cause my get developed a great straight change. So that's what you tried to do. If you look back on our believers over the years, you know, the Chris Amazon, Mike realm guys that aren't were big names. But we're very solid. Greg McMichael, these they all develop good changeups. Well, they develop good just because it was emphasized on how to throw the pitch number one number two how to use it and number three that negated changing..
