"Your past performance it. Let's take a look at the two year old races sort of in tandem You've got six horsfield right for the kitten's joy seven of them go in the rosie's yeah the this is a short one I don't i think. I think that the bomb mcpeek would be the favorite Not by what. Summer could be wrong. But i really like gold heritage Coming in for keeneland from mckeever If you do a replay view a very impressive performance looked like a horse. That's meant to go to turn says the pedigree which suggests who was just founded enough to win going one turn go five and a half because he really didn't going too late and then he just he blew him away. In the last half pro in galata well obviously got outsider affected by how horse finishes the race in. This horse was doing work late. Of course the gala pot is more likely better but that being said for a first time starter in sprint stretching out you always like to see a horse galloped powerfully around the turn and he certainly did that I'm a fan of mckeever. I think he's he's very very capable. Horseman kind of operating quietly. Now keeneland The source will take some action but as far as pick five proposition. I think that varies bullet at a fair price in that sequence. Naree good all right this next race. I don't have any good. Feel for it all i i did. Think real horse. Who i think is likely favorite big boss then Did start out for one hundred thousand dollars tag no problem with that and then After like kind of just being a little bit too forward and in his first turf race he did settle better last time and and easily to meet the bath. Rate Venue this group on the alice turf last. I don't know. I don't have good years i don't keep exceptional but I don't think you're going to have to be to win this race. That being said i'm not gonna be. I wouldn't lean too hard on a single horse. Be spreading and abc seeing this one for sure that gets us to the two big features and Start with the virginia oaks. Three year olds mylan today on the lawn. And there's a lot to choose from. I mean come on and we're where the weird contenders and in this race. I see a lot of forces that i think are possible. I i again. I'm not sure about these prices. Like for instance fella believe as she really going to be six to one off the colonial maiden win the seat field. I think she'll be longer price. I do like that horse. I was impressed with their first time. She's kind of crazy. I actually. i talked to Mr dickinson about her Which has been a big work in progress. He seems to think she's very talented and had this race in mind even before the made wean if everything went right i i think that The favorites are gonna be Invincible gal and out of sorts. That my guess with vicky oliver horse also in the mix for one of the shorter prices flippant Who ran pretty well less time in the at at ella steak invincible galvanize You know had trouble trip last time And and not had much like at all to be honest throughout her entire season. Think she's she's probably quite She's a bit better than the form lines would suggest on the surface and she might be She might take a little bit more action than Out of sorts. Who i believe is going to get back to. She just went. I think she couldn't stay in my own. Three sixteenths last time necessarily against that sort of company but had Did you talk about the horse to another on soon switched turf. Your cci ran three big races in a row for brittany russell But here again I'm gone coverage in this race. I don't feel strongly enough about single one or two horses to stand firm. I i love flippant. In here we talked to vicky oliver. After that huge weekend she had You know going back to the first weekend in august and but that that that's a stunning opinion There there's a running bring up out of sorts of zehr at The shadwell for michael. Pino outside is going to have to work out a trip but frankly it's a horse that's going to drop out of it a little bit anyway. Excuse me come with a run And pour que no For ken swayze Who i told you the contender list. Never know it's this is. This is a terrific group and bought speaking of swayze. How about his about his. Roi on sixty one hundred eighty days on d. r. f- Trader stats sixty. Nine starts sixteen percent win for a three twenty one. Roi you don't see that number from that many starts to often yeah. I wonder if it was one. You'd probably dumped it up even if it man lop off. You know Yeah i've been impressed with his work doing monness every day for the first time This year He's gonna find any had horses run well at other venues to be hit. This is this is what makes this big five So you know. So compelling of i i know you picked. He actually picked on top bella. Melissa the dickinson second timer that right right and Then a little of and then out of sorts and flip it so those are your top three and But i i read the motion horth kind of equally to live in out of sorts. I went for the upside play with the second time starter but Just because i think she's going to be bigger price. But i i to me. It's splitting hairs. I see what you're saying. I what. I did like about Vicky oliver's was The mile and a quarter like one off the slow pace mile a quarter and then close well into a fast paced going shorter advisor. I've really liked that sort of versus the young tur- for this race. I'm not. i'm not completely certain how it's gonna play out pace-wise wow and speaking of pace looking into the virginia derby feels like You've got a potentially a candidate in the the greg sacco It can be done with jose farrar. coming up or down from jersey and at the tail of a cat We're read very well I i. I thought that it can be done is going to be out there in a kind of winging on the lead and From that point you know there's a couple of horses that have have inherited leads in routes that you know if somebody gets aggressive could potentially attend but Again this is a a group of horses where it contention runs deep. There's going to be plenty of interest in ex- experienced jonathan thomas Runner coming out of the the bald eagle at pimlico. I thought wooten asset for graham motion had to be seriously considered. And i thought that doug matthews had a look in.

"Oh just rewatch the two thousand and one whatever and I'm like. Wow are we in the place where an football season hasn't started yet so? I'm still I haven't been affected by this because I guess I only a football fan but when we're football happens in this is what was going on like I will be devastated in in some fact by some factor and I think if you're into the anticipatory part of watching sports than you can venture into cycling and you know and see something that is you and and the fun thing about watching stuff that is a recap or recap in a in a sport. That is outside of your normal watching experience that you know. It's going to be incredible because somebody had to go back in time and pick it out of a plethora of options you know so they're gonNA pick the best ones. We only have a few months of this. Hopefully God exactly. Yeah that that will only need a few months of the best of the best fifty years of sports. So let's let's pick the best. What do we do for the second pandemic? We've already watched the best of everything right. I don't know well. You mentioned documentaries which sparked my memory because we binged on Sunday on Sunday of last week we binged MC millions. I was that the one on. Hbo that they're given for free exactly so. Hbo Gave Away. For Free for a month. Yeah this episode Documentary Miniseries WanNa see at the FBI agent in this if you just watch like the just watched the first episode and Doug Matthews. I've been watching all. We'll just watch the first episode to to wet the whistle and Doug Matthews in the beginning of this thing like okay. I will say something unpopular. I tried to watch tiger king. I tried to watch it and I couldn't. Oh yeah that's what I want to watch that when you can't get you can't get through. He's too like meth crazy. I can't I can't deal with like crazy meth head. You know guys conspiracy guys but Doug Matthews is an FBI agent. That just has like this panache this way about him. The just drew us in as a family and because they're a budget FBI agents. You're just like Oh this is like it's crime but it's like wholesome and like we watched it as a family on midday on Sunday and we started watching it and the kids are into it. And it's got this quirkiness to it and this. Fbi agent is walking into a meeting with a gold sued on. Because he's he's presenting the McDonald's case to his team. And it's and it's ridiculous right and my daughter says Oh that that that that thing where they do the reenactments that's really amazing storytelling device. That's the oldest piece of shit story case in the world but it works and they're doing it very well. Yes you're right but it's just such a trope that I was like. Oh like argies. Never seen reality television or never seen unsolved mysteries or any of these other shows that we grew up with where there's reenactments and I was like. Oh this is your first interaction with reenactments and you're you're finding value in a visual storytelling device. When you have interviews of people actually telling the stories that happened you need a second layer of visual storytelling. That is the reenactments and and it just plays out over six episodes but three episodes in the fourth episode. They start talking about the mob and gangsters and stuff in holding guns to people's heads and Bryce turns to me and he's like he's GonNa kill sign with his hand and I was like all right. I guess we're not watching anymore. This and I were so enthralled it. We put the kids to bed. Do we know about something else to cleanse my son's palate he can go to bed and then we put them in bed and we're like all right. Let's wait you know. Let's let's watch another episode and we watched the fourth episode exit. A cliffhanger like Ireland's wanted another and up till two o'clock in the morning finishing out the series you now and it was it was it was all that it was six six hours of. Your Life. It's amazing just do it. You GotTa taught me how to get on there. Because I'm not really sure but I know there's like ways to do it so and guess what if it's not free you know let's pay fifteen bucks and just pay for a month and just get it over with right. We've done that for a lot.

"Q. View what's going on now much. How are you Quinn good good? I'm getting excited another thing real quick. We're going to jump right into this review but something we haven't done in a while is shutouts to our sponsors so I know it's been a while so I was wondering you know who do you. Who Do you WANNA give some? Thanks to in honor of today and what we're reviewing I wanted to Suppress out shot out. Mickey D's Mickey tried and True Nice I had dinner with At some Mickey D's this weekend so with Ronald McDonald with Ronnie himself was Do not win anything. Did you get nuggets or your tribe tried and true what is double quarter pounder with cheese. Yes okay that is that is the sandwich the best in their big Mac guy but we can talk about that later. What do we I mean? Beginning sponsors on my sponsors There's this water bottle from fake Haider's Hydros a company called Hydro Cell. How it looks the same in it. Exhibition cheaper his half the price in case you're curious and it seems to get the job done and what are you really a visco girl. If it's not a I- flask I guess not being poured other people I don't know it's it's wearing down a little bit but I don't know it's just the water bottle. Yeah what are we talking about today grant today we are talking about MC millions We won't blow didn't we already talked about MC millions. You're right Quinn. We did talk about me. Millions we've talked about make millions. The season Premiere Series Premiere to and the only one. Because it's only gonNA be one season but as the documentary miniseries about McDonald's and monopoly monopoly. Game Scam that occurred between nineteen eighty nine two thousand one by the FBI investigation surrounding that. So the way we split it up is I think it was. It was a few weeks ago. We put out our first big millions episode where we just talked about our general thoughts of the series. We had just seen one episode and we have been keeping up with it. In fact one of the fifth came out today but We watched two three and four and we are here now to discuss them with our fans and our audience That's right third little bit on the longer side. Maybe that's how all these Docu series works notice so it's about fifty fifty five minutes a piece. You're a three hour movie like we usually do accepting Docu series for. Yeah really quickly To kind of review. What each episodes about episode two they were talking about instead of Jerry Star talking about a different jerry named Jerry Jacobson. Who is part of the Colombo? Mafia Jerry Jacobson is the is the He is Jerry. He's not yes. Oh Four. Copyright Jerry Colombo stick you are now Columbus. The of course. Yeah Colombo family Jerry Jacobson is the former cop working for security so this was the first time you got to see the other Jerry Jerry Colombo in play And they were interviewing his ex wife I guess is widow. We don't Seething about that Yeah you know that I Episode three was more of that Except what we just said it. Kinda ended with a car crash And then I thought episode forward a great episode two and three hours like this is all right so four hours like Dang are straight to the action. We got that car crash. You understand so Jerry Colombo the other Jerry and play not on. Jerry was killed in a car crash while his wife and his son were in the car and his son was like two or three And you Kinda saw. I don't know what it did to all the families and Yeah that's how it started a lot of action and then it went into kind of All these different recruiters that uncle Jerry was working with in order to basically sell the winning tickets to people that weren't to claim them. Yeah like they were massively connected to these pieces. I mean they just had more pieces than I guess Jerry knew what to do with so the whole the hardest part is just finding people. Yeah to to turn these tickets. That don't have any family relations to them. It was interesting that you said you said your favorite episode was episode four explicit note. I was like Episodes a little weak compared to the previous to really and I don't. I know maybe I always a little tired I. I was impressed that they were. Did you watch all three ones? No no no no. I know I was impressed. The got to talk to pretty much everybody involved in the story. I mean they would listen to the person and then they reference the person that that person talk to and then they would go into an interview with that person and everyone's all old and Milad of time has gone by management like twenty over twenty years since the event a lot of stuff was taking. Play out over twenty. Yeah it's like thirty years. Since the event started twenty plus from like exact dates you know when people were being wrapped in was it was. It was happening like you know mid nineties if you think about it that's when Jersey Italia the Jersey Italian families were at their peak eighties and nineties. Also I mean maybe they'll rat Like answer these questions by the last two episodes but nobody seems to be in jail for anything. Oh yeah they're not maybe they're excluding that information. It would seem like some of these people were pretty deep into the the scam and they're just talking to them as free citizens. Yeah they all seemed to not be in any trouble at all and it could be enough. Time has passed that especially with some of the people They could have easily just gone to jail or or gotten a slap on the wrist because they didn't know that it was a scam and there's any illegal activity going on more you know. I can't imagine uncle Jerry's going to be the one with the most. Are you. Think the interview him in the last episode. Yeah I think I'm hoping I feel like that's what they're leading up to. I think I don't know they don't have to and it would be fine if they didn't but he'll say well here's how it was done. Also what happens to that money because some of these people that are talking they were like the million dollar winners and when you win the million dollars you don't get a million dollars lump sum you get fifty thousand dollars for the next twenty years you know woo-hoo at some point they figured out. Hey this is definitely a scam. This person ought to jail when they figured it out. Probably cancel the payments. I duNNo. I'm sure they'll hopefully the you know talk about that. A lot of clouds grants I think the reason why episode four so much it was. You could see a humanized everyone. It was such a good episode like you. You could see how the death affected People differently so you could see the Jerry Colombo's y you know his widow. You could see how she told the story versus Jerry Colombo's brother and and his wife and then you could see How economy made you first. They set it up in such a way that it was so fun for the FBI. Like this is cool. It's exciting you're the guy from the FBI. What's his name? Doug Matthews Way Doug Matthew appearance. Yeah but they set it up in such a way that you're excited you're like oh man we're going to catch him and the end. There's so much deceit in in the first one. But you're so on board with it because you know these people are scamming on like their scammers. Cheating the game and then by episode four. You're really like sympathizing with all your like dude. A lot of these people I mean anyone could fall into. Potentially it's not that your line worker. Just looking cute in Jerry Colombo just was like hey. Why don't you roll with me for a bit that I mean it's I don't know I just I that's why I liked it so much. So were you frustrated or a little bit angry at the at the Pope ohs when they're I mean they're doing a couple of things first of all Doug Matthews. These making people doing ridiculous it. He's like yeah. Then point to your star and say like thanks a million or whatever because there videotaping all these different people to explain why it wasn't.

Yeah you also got the instant one now so there's also says you win a million dollars. Maybe they gave away more money in two thousand one because I just remember there being one million dollar prize that was boardwalk or park place. I forgot which one was one of the one to get so. They didn't reveal that they also didn't really expand upon the the source. Kinda started off with you. Know the the Oh yeah agency getting like an anonymous phone call young. Maybe it'll bring that Doodo later. But that's pretty much like the catalyst to all of this and Yeah it's really interesting. It's a documentary red. So it's your. They're interviewing real. It's those reenactments going on but it's you know there's no fiction I know we're talking about this off line. I know Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Were supposed to movie about it. about this It was planned like it. Might I mean might still come out but this is very much different because it's straight documentary. It's your show like a big story. I imagine which still would be cool if it's dramatized like that. I don't know the reason I'm a little skeptical that normally I'd say yes but the one thing they'd be missing in that creation of the movie is the the FBI agent that Doug Matthews Guy like him the love that guy I mean he is a character He's probably the best the best guy in the show. So far or WHO's involved. They probably interviewed him. And then we're like we can make a show out of this. This is wonderful. He's basically this with southern guy who's just very charismatic very good storytelling but also has some pretty funny asides and he had some zingers in there. Yeah use it use very entertaining and he was a Newbie when this case broke out in the FBI and he insisted and somehow got he convinced people that let him go undercover so Yet has really interesting. I mean to interview the winners that I don't know I was so cool. Yeah I mean 'cause he's out of the do who's like. I went to the beach. A drop my magazine and a wanted to read that magazine. So like this is it. And you have the The woman who drops a magazine in says his ruin and then throws it out like magazines. Don't get ruined dropping them for a second in the ocean. Yeah I thought he was. They were going to expose a little bit by like Oh wit. That store doesn't exist. Or where's the magazine place? But they had everything pretty much Thought out as far as the alibi airtight air heights or so far. So we'll see some leaks in there. Maybe they already got the. That was pretty quick for like a title. Three wiretap to the phones like just taps. Yeah so it's like yeah do it. I didn't know that Shit was like twenty four seven to I mean they. Just that's the. What else can you do? Besides that especially in that era against the Doug Matthew said he was he couldn't go onto Internet. Like you got someone's phone I don't that's all. I got older communication with anyone. That's true yeah. So Gosh darned you'll want no. I was laughing every single time. That guy got on the you like them as much as I did. I'm from me. And is Martin Luther. He's he's leading the story right. He's he's like the bulk of it For sure so but overall what do you think I thought it was good? Yeah I was. I was hooked. I wanted to watch the next episode. I do think I thought it was better than the trailer. I don't think it's hard to do trailers in general in A. I don't think the trailer for this very strong. I think it's even harder for documentaries. Or like investigations. You know because you can't reveal that much You know like you just set it up. It's an investigation. They scan people. It's the first five minutes of the first episode anyways but there's five more episodes Real quick did you I. They also mentioned like Mad Cow Disease. And how that was hurting like McDonald's image. Anything about that. I remember me I had no idea. Yeah I've heard of it by my parents wouldn't let me eat McDonald's Oh like I couldn't. I don't think I ate beef for like the whole time. The thing that's going on. Oh my God I just like. There's no mine in the drive Thru Quin LASCO. Oh okay that did have some some public response. Yeah okay all right. Yeah I was just curious. Trying to factor a little bit. It's what you dislike. Are they exaggerating that I? At McDonald's I've heard of that thing was that it was a big deal. At least I don't think I ate like red meat for a while but my parents we would rarely go to McDonalds anyways. 'cause that's just my parents Until I got into college then I was like dude. Mcdonald's Twenty four is good so I was. I cut you off you know now. Yeah I mean I since. This is just our episode. I think it's mainly setting up the series. I don't know in terms of what more to discuss. I think it's good. I WanNa do it again. I don't since his only six. We have the option of reviewing next week. One BN wine but I really feel like you know. This is like seventeen minutes and there's not much to talk about in terms a single episode. What do you think you WANNA do? No no no. I don't want to absorb sewed but I do I. I think a good chunk would work so I think the next time one to five..

"All right the other big international story was this announcement today from Attorney General William Barr I'm here to announce the indictment of Chinese military hackers specifically for members of the Chinese people's Liberation Army for breaking into the computer systems of the credit reporting agencies Equifax hackers obtained the names birthdates and social security numbers of nearly a hundred and fifty million Americans and the driver's licenses of approximately ten of at least ten million Americans so pretty much half the country just just about they found this out now three years ago twenty seventeen the date of the blog a hundred forty five million it was all kinds of stuff the bad stuff the social security number your driver's license number your address your birthday other information which basically opens you up for the most part to all of your accounts being accessed by somebody well there's no proof fade done any of that they believe they also were really trying to study Equifax's data and trade secrets and may have stolen that as well it the Chinese are course accused of hacking Marriott and anthem and getting millions of files on government employees in the office of personnel management before so I don't know if this is just sort of a let's see if we can do it how does it work they're not they don't appear to be disrupting at the point at this moment the deputy director of the FBI David Barrett said that this may have been a way to basically cast a giant nets you know half of the American public basically they would have their information on Equifax in order to hand pick the information from individual high profile US officials whether it's politicians of owners of companies businesses celebrities possibly for counter intelligence but but again there's no evidence that they've actually done that to this no they might have been just testing Equifax shares are down a percentage point today on an update on the market eight it's also been you know a difficult time then for Experian and I forget who the third what the third credit rating agency as a sort of like is is your data safe and I actually interviewed the C. E. O. Experian North America Craig bounties on the CEOs you should know page about all the tools that Experian has gone through trying make you trust to secure your information but this is I don't know if you got one of those letters I got one of those letters saying Hey you can get it yeah you can get me and they they agreed to pay seven hundred million dollars which was going to be a hundred twenty five dollars per customer but then everybody's piling in I did not sign up because it required me to give them information and they already blue ones right the irony of that was was not lost on a lot of people if you want to sign up to get your chunk of that hi here just give us all of the information that we will then loosely hold on to in hopes that someone doesn't get it from us yes so the Chinese are all of the newspaper to take out a right turn here I started watching on HBO the documentary make millions yes it is so good for those of you don't know it's about that the fraud in the monopoly contest at McDonald's from I think was nineteen eighty eight to two thousand and one and how this sleepy FBI office in Jacksonville Florida got on to it it is fan tastic the FBI agent who sort of took the check the leader at the young at the time young FBI agent Doug Matthews he's worth watching it just adjust for that there's somebody behind that like a producer credit on that that was a well here's my question I don't yeah mark I think mark Wahlberg yeah mark Wahlberg he's a never you're right you're right yeah he's on everything he's got the midas touch when it comes to producing stuff here's my question when you watch that documentary McDonald's cooperated and McDonald's I I don't know how they convinced McDonald's I don't know if there was some sort of like we're gonna let you take a first look which would be against all the rules of documentary making right but they have the global head of security for McDonald's and that they have the woman who ended up as part of the undercover FBI sting operation who was McDonald's employee it it's really are the talk about not trusting SO now of course bonds has the monopoly game but I'm like no not plan I don't trust I don't trust anybody now I don't trust Equifax I don't trust McDonald's why do trust me down a little bit and so far there's only one episode out I mean that is six episodes since once a week there doling it out I think that SO two comes out tonight yeah the F. B. I. agent eight this is because I know someone who is FBI special agent up in the bay area who's very new with all the new technology this is two thousand one technology free Google link kind of stuff and they had to figure out how to track this down it's just old good old school detective work that's correct millions yes there's my there's my what you watch on Wednesday on a Monday yeah all right speaking to watch watch in Wednesday last night the Academy Awards our site wins Best Picture that's probably the least surprising thing that happened and that was pretty surprising well yeah and and the fact that he swept he had a screen play director and he quoted Martin Scorsese choose a course course as eager as some it it was it was wonderful and then they try to bring the lights down before the second producer could talk and the and the crowd is screaming lights up up up okay I'm sorry I'm getting I'm getting into the next page we'll do that when we come back and why Eminem was there who I had introduced him to my kids I had to Google that why does he did a great job he was great power the forty seven year old baby all during channel will continue Jane well said and we have a thousand dollars we're gonna give way we'll tell you how you can win that as well Amy can what's going on.

"Is the number we would love to hear from you and my guest is Dan Feinberg in Feinberg's TV critic for The Hollywood Reporter and you can follow him on Twitter and Facebook at the fine print F. I. E. N. and Dan our conversation continues and here we go all right not seen it I've I've seen a you know a lot of the commercials for it and it's nine one one lone star so it's it's it's like a another night because they've already got nine one one on on fox that's the initial is Angela Bassett in there Angela Bassett's in it Peter Krause is in a Connie Britton once in it the war but now is I believe replaced by one of your favorites Jennifer love Hewitt who does continue to work in excess so yes that is indeed a thing that continues to exist and be wildly successful incidentally is okay so that's why the obviously if it's successful because otherwise they wouldn't do another show and expand the universe but it is nine one one Lone Star it goes it's it takes place in Texas and rob Lowe is the big star in this one and there's another guy you just mentioned Jennifer love Hewitt he's been on so many TV how many shows his Ravalomanana I mean man he's been on many shows and we you know we love him culturally despite the fact that for the most part his shows have not been wildly successful and I could list several of the shows he's been on and you would have no memory of them having existed at all like do you remember a show on CBS called code blockade medical drama I use that I do not not that again there was a grinder on fox which was really really good for a season I can't yeah so you know sometimes he sometimes good good stuff and it's interesting and sometimes he does that stuff and then there was the reality show he did on the eighty year history of those what you went ghost hunting with his sons which although I am issue yeah that's right the show yeah I know I do I my god just remember that and I also I mean obviously you know he was home Larry S. on parks and rec and and that's still one of my favorite characters on that show he is a he particular kind of talented each but his own questionably talented you can't put him in everything but if you put him in certain things does it as well as anyone at this Sir this is a pretty good role for a nine one one lone star he plays a New York City the firemen get a one of the first responders at nine eleven but we could use without what one who is beginning to show the symptoms of a health condition stemming from that and basically he decides he needs a change of scenery plus he has a son who has drug addiction problems she also thinks needs a change of scenery so the head off to Texas where route they are told that we're basically one of the fire houses in Austin was decimated the entirely by a fire the actual firefighters rather and so it was a city wide tragedy and they are attempting to get the house going again he's in charge and he can't picks and he decides to pick an eclectic assortment of of people a bus will open for biamby the trans man from Chicago sort of interesting and diverse people where they work with the other first responders in Austin including liv Tyler plays on him she was also investigating her sister's disappearance and they do a lot of Texas things be the first episode fifteen to one of the cases involved somebody eating hot pepper his style and other there was a line dancing scene the second episode including barbecue scheme so they're going on I don't know if they're gotten up to the the the spear aren't there was a hole in one of the advertisements so steering the tech with all apologies but it's eight it is the it's a franchise executive produced by Ryan Murphy it's run by Tim Minear use got a fantastic resume and it's it's no wonder somewhat crazy above average broadcast procedural stuff so if you offered me a choice between the nine one one franchise and you know whatever the end I know I'm not supposed to say this but whatever Dick wolf's three different Chicago shows are at this point I I would take the nine one one shows they just have a better sense of fun they have a better sense of craziness they say we don't what you expected a procedural work in a we're going to turn the knob up a couple and I I I appreciate that I appreciate the lunacy not enough that we can watch them on a weekly basis but occasionally he is something ridiculous happening in on nine one one and I will watch a few minutes of it just to go is there really a tsunami that's about to engulf the entire city of Los Angeles or something so they are they're fun very watchable procedural shows and it's a really solid cast okay there you go well it's Nick to Julia show here continuing we're talking with Dan Feinberg TV critic for The Hollywood Reporter of seven twenty WGN and then down that premiered a was it took a couple of weeks ago after the NFC championship game correct and they did it another like for me or for a one episode on Sunday I got some of that stuff and I is it now is the regular is the regular time on Mondays and I'm not as of Monday I believe so and it's and it's been doing well fox's been boasting about user should I mean look no one watches broadcast TV live at this point with the possible exception of masks figure and the possible exception of things on Friday night but watched by an older demographic on CBS but already fox seems to be very pleased with how this is doing with it DPR numbers which is how basically the industry goes these days so doing well okay so that's nine one one lone star on fox with rob Lowe all right Dan Feinberg TV critic for The Hollywood Reporter here and I I am soul I'm sorry I just I'm so excited about this make millions it it was it did you this was also at at at Sundance if people don't remember the McDonald's monopoly game being rigged I I just it I I can I can I can just so excited that there's actually a six part documentary that's going to be on that's gonna be on HBO called make millions tell everybody the story about this one it is indeed a going to be on HBO that's premiering next Monday so if this one coming soon broadcast on there stop you have to wait a long time for it make millions is already coming next week and it will be it is just a Nicholas story because you know I've actually been McDonald's monopoly game I assume you didn't pass sure and everybody had the same experience we we get the periodic three fry isn't free drink and then otherwise we start filling out all of the other things on the herd and we all we get every single one except for whatever the last one was do you needed to get the big thing you just think okay will be arts are are bad so so clearly that's why I'm not winning but this documentary yeah then you may also have seating there was a great daily beast story about it a couple years ago this is not based on that I don't believe but it's it exposed that this true story called the vast conspiracy relating to the marketing firm that did that handle of the monopoly game for McDonald's it it kind of dovetailed with the with the mall but and with a lot of Italy corrupt people many of them in Florida naturally and the case was broken open by be sweet be Jacksonville F. B. I. office using a lot of Sir almost or go ask of methodology including they all went under copper as a film crew filming some of the winners to get different concessions out of the people who won the game so this is a six part documentary I've seen the first three parts it is such a good story and the characters particularly Doug Matthews who was the head of the FBI team to broke this wide open are such good TV that I was able to get past the fact that I don't think it's a very well told documentary the it's a lot of re enactments a lot of really all uninspired reenactments that are basically going on in the background as people are telling these great great stories and how does he like that and I I wish that deal makers find alternatives would find better ways of doing this so it's it's a great story and I recommend people watch it there's an even better version of the story out there by someone or someones who had a little bit more flair and a little bit more adventurousness in their storytelling but still it's a good story and worth watching yeah I I just eight BP I remember when that whole thing broke I was like what and it's it's really funny because we have there's a local a grocery store chain here in Chicago called jewel and that's where we do all of our grocery shopping and I in fact I used to work at jewel you many years ago and they're bringing back they they have a monopoly game at our local jewel you know depending on how much groceries or how much how you know how much money you've spent you get the you get the little pieces you get the the the pieces in the of a board at home and it's basically the same kind of thing and I just in the the eight the eight eight and in in its very successful for for for jewel you get some discounts or you know whatever really like it and I just can't every time we every time it comes back and it's good it starts again I think next week the new the new campaign I always think of the McDonald's scandal every all the time out our local equivalent so born Albertson's out here does the same thing as well and even knowing it's rigged I still play because for it so you can now ski in the car used you don't even need to stick them on a board anymore you can just scan the the code and anyway clearly this is clearly this is not Rick clearly you know this is completely on the level and I'm just losing because of bad luck so make millions will begin on it'll it's on H. B. O. starting on Monday yes it's a DM Feinberg and the conversation continues in the neck to Julie show and we just got another route text from the eight four seven area code could you ask if the rookie with Nathan Fillion has been canceled I've not seen it in awhile I think it's just all for the time being but it it's it's still on they've had that we've had various problems behind the scenes on that show but it's it's trucking route along a little I I don't think it's guaranteed for a third season but if you see really really loves Nathan Fillion daily what not yes I do yeah I would not shock me to see it continue yeah it's still on I think it's just between trunk of a season or whatever all right okay Dan Feinberg is here the conversation continues if you want to jump in.
