"Now for round two of your **** voting presenting three news stories these are examples of bad stupid or funny human behavior and you will decide with your vote of these three candidates which one is the worst which one deserves to go forward to Boehner fight and possibly become **** of the day the winter goes up against the winner of round ones voting we did that an hour ago but we'll take both of our champions and put them against each other for bona fide you will decide **** of the day at nine twenty this morning that's when bona fide happens so right now pick your champion for round two choose strategically to candidates now a third after the news what you're for all three then you will lotus one of the lucky random **** voters will receive a gift certificate to booze here's Bernard candidate number one another trump uses the P. word I've been going back and forth in my mind as to whether to say the word let's see how it works here if I don't but if you ever needed an example or if you ever had any doubts that Donald Trump and his sons in particular but probably other members of his family are just absolutely horrible people they should show meant that for you they should make it clear Donald Trump junior all of it on Instagram has called Mitt Romney the P. word what's the word is dead likes to use after the former G. O. P. presidential candidate announced that he would be voting to convict president trump on one of two impeachment charges the picture features Romney wearing some high waisted jeans and he looks kind of silly and it was captioned by trump junior mom jeans because your all the we know what he said Donald Trump junior who recently released a book called triggered roadmate brought me is forever bitter that he will never be president of the United States he was too weak to beat the Democrats then so he's joining them now from junior ended his post by calling for Romney to be expelled from the Republican Party throwing out of the Republican Party yeah for being part of the resistance so he she another trump yeah using the P. word because his dad like to brag about grabbing him by the P. word well if they had they found this out about Mitt Romney yes we've been playing this long game for twenty five or thirty years actually that's we've been we've been on the trying to get him in the hall of your secret meetings so then you'll think that he's a Republican we had him do all these horrible things they all these horrible things and you've caught us we've been playing the long run get you know so they trumps at the prayer breakfast because the evangelicals one of them well people to get you know one who stands up and says up up I took my oath seriously and I swore an oath to god and I'm a religious person and that's why I voted this way so you compare that to junior and what how are you picking that side you easy choice for you and it's not you are aware also though of course that evangelicals when it comes to Mormons don't consider them questions well I have Angelica's don't get are Mormons Christians either so there you go motor Canada number one another trump uses the P. word there's better candidate number two the presidential medal of freedom July president trump awarded can conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh the medal of freedom the nation's highest civilian honor at the state of the union address the White House website said the award is for people who have made exceptional contributions to the security or national interests of America to world peace or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors politifact has been fact checking Limbaugh since two thousand nine here's a look at some of the most significant fat checks yup love Rush Limbaugh obamacare the what the law is the biggest tax increase in the history of the world not true not true an absolutely at the forcible corrected include some limited tax increases but they were much smaller than tax increases signed into law by president Reagan in eighty two Lyndon Johnson in sixty eight eleven twenty years among major hurricane striking land board hole right through the whole climate change argument not true no it's not true climate change is nothing but a bunch of computer models and attempt to tell us what's going to happen in fifty years not thirty years notice the predictions are never for the next year like that's not true president Obama wants to mandate circumcision known not true not even close I don't remember that we never even broader people can't go fishing anymore because of Obama might know all the time it Republicans it just goes on and on plus I heard some Rush Limbaugh some really choice things where he sang songs about Barack the magic Negro yeah yes a racist it was a misogynist yep a horrible person presidential medal of freedom yeah two why and if he committed the crime we pardon them in the second is gonna join Joe Arpaio in el soon I hope coming up in a moment **** candidate number three once again politicians misusing means this was a good one and I think what are we gonna have this at X. ninety six dot com slash line to me I don't I don't know yes we have a roundup from walking off all right good that'll be coming up after this big going news and opinion window brought to you by class at a local company that makes therapeutic bath bombs text the word back after three three nine eight six to receive ten percent off it costs at stores online at therapy bomb dot com once again it's so worth mentioning certainly that Kirk Douglas has died at the age of one hundred and three known for his very manly roles for the most part in westerns and war movies most notably Spartacus in nineteen sixty but in eighty movies across half a century he was equally at home on means city streets in smoky jazz clubs and as Vincent van Gogh amid the flowers of the south of France many of his earliest films were pretty forgettable variations on well known Hollywood themes of movie goers were slow to recognize some of his best work but when he found the right role he proved that he could be very very good indeed early on he was hailed for his performance as an unprincipled Hollywood producer office of Lana Turner in the bad and the beautiful which is a pretty cool movie if you ever get a chance to see it just just look it up and watch it he played the van Gogh in lust for life won an Oscar nomination for both of those many critics thought he should have gotten more recognition for his work in two films in particular a Stanley Kubrick's paths of glory in nineteen fifty seven in which she played a French colonel in World War one trying vainly to prevent the execution of three innocent soldiers and also lonely are the brave which is an offbeat western about an aging cowboy and it was written by Edward abbey who wrote the monkey wrench gang among other things a desert solitaire and part Douglas and and the the the book the lonely are the brave by Edward abbey it's you know it's not that great but Kirk Douglas saw something in it and made a movie out and the movie is infinitely better really than the book yeah it's the the the the things in the movie were the ideas in the book or were good but Kirk Douglas took clothes and made it a really great movie and you you can watch the entire movie of the villain from nineteen seventy nine him and Arnold Schwarzenegger in a western parity movie that's like a road runner cartoons really yeah it's it's so awful sorry it's so often bizarre that it's just worth a look well he was born yes Sir Daniel over each December ninth nineteen sixteen in Amsterdam New York he was the son of a loan deal at the illiterate Russian Jewish immigrants in the wash the town of Amsterdam he said one of seven children six of them sisters by the time he began attending school family name of been changed to Dembski and eserver had become is a door so he would he went by then he went by the nickname is Zee and a lot of his close friends call family his family members even they call him I think his kids call it music Doug Kirk Douglas dead at a hundred and three another of the great American has passed up where it whenever the bright sun of heaven shall shine his honor and the greatness of his name shall be as William Shakespeare said in Henry the eighth and it is that F. of fat epitaph up with epitaph for Fred C. Adams the founder of the Utah Shakespeare festival it is with deep sadness that this festival in southern Utah State University share the news that Fred Adams has passed away in cedar city of the state's most prominent arts leader Fred Adams made a deep and lasting impact on everyone he met I knew him worked I worked with them three three different times at the Utah Shakespeare festival he directed me in one play and then he was incorrect a lot of the players but occasionally he would step in and direct casually he would step in an act as well but mostly he was the producer but when I was at the Utah Shakespeare festival he directed me in a production of the Tempest and he was he was a a really great man he was funny charming and down here a great smile yep he was granted since of humor he was he was always sick of my men the few times I met him seem to be very happy and cheerful he said I've done pretty well for just a a chorus boy he said I went to New York to be an actor and a dancer and I ended up just being a chorus boy and so I came back to Utah married my childhood sweetheart he always referred to her as my childhood sweetheart Barbara Daddy and last time on one of the last times I saw Fred I said Fred you look great your hair looks particularly good no I I know I know all I knew they were to pay but and and because he had for years and the and he said he said well I spent a lot of money for this one yes well I mean Freddie looks looks much better than you know than I've seen seen the look in the past reset well thank you and then flipped it well I was complimenting a monies to pay okay and he knew I was complimenting him on his toupee he was a he was a really nice guy in a funny guy and a talented man Hey so what Donald Trump slams Nancy Pelosi and Mitt Romney for using their faith to justify their actions in the impeachment trial in inquiry during his remarks at the national prayer breakfast this morning all classy I don't like it I don't like it when people use their fate the justification for doing what they know is wrong no nor do I like people who say I pray for you when they know that that's not so so many people who've been hurt and we can even let that go on I will be discussing that a little bit later at the White House he said I am the chosen one rami was the lone Republican find from guilty on one article of impeachment abuse of power he said in his remarks on the Senate floor that it was his faith rami isn't about Mormon that led him to that decision I love the Mormons hello Siva devout Catholic has repeatedly said she prays for the president well he's on and then this story this is troubling.

"Is what you're saying about my voice is loud and strong and it's good and I appreciate the support honestly provocative this is a very big deal with so does this those watching at home tonight I want you to know we will never let socialism destroy American health care that is Donald Trump in last night's amazing and masterful state of the union address welcome to the Lars Larsen Joe Klein to be with you on this Wednesday the same day that we learned that the president of the United States as many of us had predicted all the way back to September would be acquitted on the impeachment charges the rush job half baked job that Nancy Pelosi and company delivered from the house of representatives and the only real surprise if you can call it a surprise is it Mitt Romney turned out to be a sell out that is a a rhino Republican and that he voted for conviction on one of the two impeachment counts didn't change the final outcome there was a smaller number forty seven votes to convict the president fifty two and fifty three because of Romney's vote he voted yes on want to know on the other conviction on one acquittal on the other one and what he got out of it other than perhaps admiration from some of his well more liberal friends in Washington DC he has earned the enmity of so many people in this country anybody who still gave them any credence whatsoever because a lot of us have looked at him as a very poor presidential candidate at the time but a lot of us including me voted for him because he was a better alternative than Barack Obama and he still was a better alternative than Obama bid saying better than Obama is not saying too much but I want to mention one other thing before I go back to a couple of my favorite lines from last night's state of the union address if you did not see it and the majority of Americans did not see it it is a masterful speech and it really if you don't fully appreciate how successful this country has become in the last three years under president trump because of the things he kept the government from doing not because of the things he had the government do for you and that is a key difference between Democrats and Republicans between conservatives and liberals because liberals always say well if you need a job the government should make one for you if you need housing the government should make it for you if you need food the government should give it to you many of us believe that our greatest liberties are only preserved by being as independent as we possibly can and having the government do as little as possible for the majority of people and then of course for people who cannot do for themselves those who are poor those who are sick those who are in some way incapacitated of course we're a generous country but for the most part what you want to see is a country that actually says let's give you some choices and that was one of the things the president talked about last night before I go to that though I do want to mention just in the last few minutes we've got word that the fantastic actor Doug Kirk Douglas the father of Michael Douglas has passed away at the age of one hundred three and a lot of us enjoyed his movies and I thought I'd bring that news to you it's sad news but he has passed away at the age of one hundred and three his son Michael Douglas is also a good actor and don't necessarily like it's politics but he's a great actor seventy five he's seventy five years old but take a listen when I mention choices I mean a real choices because of the places where government fails if the government is going to fail the people especially in something as critical as education for goodness sake give the public and parents and teachers and students a choice the next step forward in building an inclusive society is making sure that every young American gets a great education and the opportunity to achieve the American dream yet for too long countless American children have been trapped in failing government schools now I want to point something out to you this president is one of the few politicians I have ever seen who has the guts to say it not once but twice failing government schools I even hear conservatives and Republican office holders they always want to say well you know we have wonderful schools but we can make them better now in some cases we have schools that are abject failures high dropout rates low school performance and if you're going to tell me that this is the most important thing that we do as a society is educate the next generation then for goodness sake if you're leading twenty percent of the kids drop out or more and if you're leading forty and fifty percent of the kids fail to even make the minimum marks in school that is a failing school and there is of course a solution the the Democrats and the unions don't like to rescue these students eighteen states have created school choice in the form of opportunity scholarships the programs are so popular that tens of thousands of students remain on a waiting list one of those students is Chennai and Davis a fourth grader from Philadelphia tonight.
