"Is married to his housekeeper and had previously done work at the bishop's home. Stayed with WTO for more on these top stories in the minutes ahead where it is now 1218. Traffic and weather on the 8s is gonna Carlos Ramirez and the WTO traffic center. Thanks rich and I want to say thank you to the listener that I just got off the phone with as thank you so much for letting us know about this work. Zone couldn't see it in camera, but if you had it eastbound on 66, the access road that takes you on to route 50 has a work zone according to the listener, they're blocking that right side. Of the access road, however, thankfully, you are still able to take those exits, you can head to eastbound, you can head westbound, no worries, just got to be careful. Because there is that work group pinching you over to the left hand side. So just be extra careful there. If you're headed westbound on 66 pass, nutly street, you got the right side of the roadway, blocked. And of course, be careful as you make away from nutly street onto westbound 66 because it is a bit of a short merge. Unfortunately, you have to get onto the through lanes pretty quickly or rather the fast lanes pretty quickly there. So again, if you're already on westbound 66 and you're about to head past nutley street, be aware and go ahead and jump over to the left hand side that way it's easier for the folks jumping on to 66. Three 95 looks good, looks like they're setting up a work zone, though this one's going to be northbound just past edsel road watch out for them. It looks like they're going to be over on the right hand side. Or correction looks like it is southbound. My mistake. If you're at southbound on three 95 after, a little bit of return pike had it towards edsel road, that's where you're going to have them over on the right side. And it does look like it's a mobile work crew so they are going to be moving. Inner lip of the beltway looks good all the way up towards the American legion bridge, no worries there. Across the Wilson bridge, things are quiet. And if you're on two ten, branch avenue or three O one, I'm not seeing any slowdowns at this very moment. Headed across the bay bridge, be aware you got two way traffic on the eastbound span once again tonight to single lane gets you by. If you're headed on the eastbound side of 50, just inside the beltway, coming off of New York avenue passed two 95, you should have them over on the right hand side. Southbound VW Parkway should still be a single lane getting by as you head towards one 97, though no delays because of it, be ready to move over. Northbound 95 passed one 75 to right lanes are blocked. You're going to be forced to stay over on the left hand side of the roadway again, similar story, no delays just yet, just watch out for the cones and all the folks out there wearing the orange outfits. Carlos Ramirez will be traffic. And now let's go to storm team four chief meteorologist Doug camera. We're looking at a pretty good start to the day on our Tuesday, nice and mild and a nice afternoon, just a little bit on the windy side, high temperatures

"Could be an area of concern tomorrow morning, especially bridges and overpasses. I really do think most of the highway should be A-okay, but we are watching those bridges and overpasses that could get a little bit cooler potentially slide below freezing and that could get a little bit of ice in those locations, but I really do think most of us should be A-okay tomorrow morning and it might actually be a pretty morning start if the roads are okay and we got that nice coating on trees and grass service. Now on Thursday I'm seeing another chance of light rain or flurries anything to monitor there. No, not really. That's another storm system. So we're going to track that, but right now it looks like it's moving to the south of the area. But the cold air is going to be here. And I think that could be the bigger story this week is going to be the fact that we really do return to some real winter cold. We have not seen much of it. We had it for Christmas Eve. We have it for Christmas. This Friday and going for a high temperature of 34 wind chills will be in the teens and low 20s all day on Friday, high on Saturday, may not get to 30° in many areas, so that is some real cold. That's once again moving our way. As you say, when you're high is your usual low. That is a problem All right, Doug Cameron live storm team four chief meteorologist with some snow flurries rolling in in places overnight, not expecting big problem with slippery roadways, although that's what we're here for. Traffic and weather on the 8s will watch that overnight and see if some bridges and overpasses freeze any time snow is in the forecast. It's time to stay close to WTO. And of course, watch your speeds out here. We appreciate Doug camera coming on with us, part of our weather coverage here. Reagan national 38 BWI Marshall 38 dulles 36 temperatures falling into the mid 20s overnight. And we're brought to you by Len the plumber. Trusted same day service 7 days a week. "P dot com and search small business September and check out the ebook today. It's 9 28. Traffic and weather on the 8s back to the traffic center and Carlos Ramirez. Thank you so much. We'll start off with the incident on the outer loop of the beltway. The crash, then out there for a couple hours now. It's right by the low river turnpike, currently still blocking too far left lanes, and that of course is causing the delays as far back as route 50. Thankfully, traffic is slowly starting to lighten up here as far as volume is concerned, the amount of people on the roadways that break lights again out route 15. They'll take you all the way down towards a crash near two 34. Also on the outer loop, it's on the ramp to westbound 66, that's a work zone, blocking the left lane of the ramp from the elderly with the beltway onto westbound 66. This is prepped for the rest of the overnight work. It looks like if you're headed wanna spell on 66 itself past the fairfax county Parkway, they do have a few cones set up already along the right hand side, no delays because of it just yet, and as I always like to mention, if you're headed out on the roads and you see those vdot trucks setting up these work crews be extra careful out there, we want everybody to get home safe. 30 95 northbound looking pretty good though, it looks like we may have a crash there near edsel road once again. Previously, we had one there and was blocking the left lane as now looking through the cameras that actually looks like it's a work zone that just got set up. The work crew is along the right hand side of the roadway as you approach edsel road, you should be down to a single left lane getting by here. It looks like it might be blocking part of the ramp to edsel road, but mostly the acceleration lane. It seems you are still able to access the actual ramp itself. So just be aware of that as you make your way northbound. Carlos Ramirez WTO traffic. Storm team fours Doug camera. "A bit tricky about forecasting this And are we going to have to keep tuned to you right up until the moment they're on Sunday to figure out what's actually going to happen Oh yeah absolutely The biggest thing about this is The Rain snow line You know that's always one of the biggest factors that we have in our area Where is that rain still line going to set up The energy that is going to become this storm just came on shore from the Pacific Ocean a little bit earlier We don't have good sampling over the Pacific Ocean It's one of the least sampled areas of the world as far as weather is concerned So we wait for it to come on shore That system is onshore now but the longer it's on short the more data that we receive from that area so as the storm continues to make its way our way we are going to see changes in the forecast Even a ten 15 mile change could be a huge change Let's say right now it looks like that rain snow line could be just west of Frederick Let's say it moves to the east of Frederick and then all of a sudden Frederick is all snow So we'd have to put our totals up in that area So that's something we're going to continue to track Temperatures are also going to be a big factor through this whole thing Look for snow late Sunday Beyond that it's a little bit TBD Yeah you know and I really do think Sunday evening is going to be great I mean 6 7 8 9 o'clock Sunday Night is gonna be great to look out your window They've even walked around in the snow or at least turn your lights on take the dog for a walk in the snow but then it gets kind of nasty as The Rain comes in here We could get a couple of good inches of snow and then The Rain comes in and kind of compact that We may get a little snow on the back side on Monday morning Not yet but we soon will be this weekend that storm team four chief meteorologist Doug camera talking about this weekends predicted snowstorm with our Dmitry silver You are listening to 103.5 FM and WTO P dot com Are we bringing money to each of our 25 and 55 Without finished Thursday session down a 177 points the NASDAQ lost two and a half percent The number of Americans getting.

"Miss a moment 103.5 FM That's a good thing because here we go again More snow is on the way this weekend with a winter storm expected to hit the Washington D.C. region and specific Sunday into Monday This morning storm team four chief meteorologist Doug camera on the timeline and what we can expect Probably in the early afternoon time Frank two three 4 o'clock depending on where you are from the area's south of Washington it'll move from south to north across the area It's going to be all snow This is the one part of the storm that we're very confident in very cold air out ahead of the storm early on Sunday morning temperatures will be in the team so very cold air So this will not only start us to know this will stick immediately early in the storm and I think we're going to pick up a good couple of inches here even around the D.C. metro area And then we're going to start to see that rain snow line make its way from areas along Calvert and saint Mary's county right on through the district as we make our way through the Sunday nighttime frame And eventually that rain snow line could go all the way back towards I 81 and that would bring down snow totals but also provide us with the potential for some freezing rain in parts of that area before switching over to just plain rain and then that whole storm system moves out by Monday morning Could this thing bring even more snow than the one that's stranded all those drivers It sounds like with The Rain that's not the case Yeah I don't think that's going to be the case along the I 95 corridor However you look back towards an area like I 81 and we could see upwards of ten 12 inches of snow back towards the I 81 corridor if it does remain all snow So that's an area that I'm really concerned about snow wise as far as freezing rain goes you know I do think we're going to see a potential for some freezing rain as the temperatures are going to be so cold on Sunday As I mentioned in the teens early in the day 20s during the afternoon even if we go above freezing for temperatures the ground surface might still be around freezing if we go over The Rain so we could see a period of freezing rain on Sunday Night as well to these fleet and freezing rain moving on in here and that could cause some problems on the roadways The best news with this storm is the timing I mean we're looking at Sunday Night into a very early Monday morning and of course Monday being a holiday A lot less people on aerial roads What is perhaps a bit tricky about forecasting this.
