"Can find. The answer are should be able to apply some of this knowledge here in that his Been huge. I'm not doing you know the participants that we are managing. They're not doing micro now. Some of this stuff is solar Power manufacture advanced manufacturer. But i am able to Hole on my knowledge to help. Connect the dots into be useful in the work that i do on a day to day. Sugar breaks clients. Salvage show appliance. Definitely definitely making you know you know dealing with arise we have a lot of policies we have you know. There are things that are put in place to make sure that we keep our program assurance in so and that's a wealth of knowledge as a huge at times can feel like a pin dorthe box in so it's like in may not be that i remember it word for word or you know. Shoot it out to you. But i definitely if i can find it here. It's another place. I can find it then. I can imply there in order to get us. The right answer so Those things. I've found that skill invaluable amazing so you're still technically a scientists even though you're not you know you're not in the lab but you're still using your so you in those skills that you spend so much time in especially our to You know as as we grow our programs year right bringing a new work in setting up these programs different guidelines and also the technical piece behind it is that whole technical writing fees that i feel You know it keeps us competitive and also it puts us on a peer level to with our sponsors on. Not that the letters behind my name. Make me hawaii on at all by any means because i i would never Dumb myself down to that but at the same time there are people exist in the world like that so sometimes coming up and showing up at these meetings it's it can be more of a collaborative space than i need you to do this in take care of it so more collaborative over administrative if that makes sense to you so like that would be a you know a better way to approach it anyway with with your customers with your participants with your own members that it's you know everyone's together so let's work together to negra programs the best thank you be raise for other folks who might be listening in you know again. We're celebrating post. Docs were celebrating post. You know appointments. Would you recommend to others to seek a post. Doc appointments to participate in those programs if they're interested and available to them off. Because i feel like during those years because with graduates than so focused on your research e. n. Coming the finances you know. I just feel like there was a whole nother dimension of rachel that was cultivated on at costa. You know sometimes All of them are not created equally. But if you're able to get hooked up with Pi that is willing to allow you to think you know on your own move forward with your research in a way that you are kind of guiding that those are all again invaluable experiences because it is a shift right from graduates where you're gonna under the direction of your adviser in the starts to let you go. I never mind visor me once you start pushing back on what i'm telling you that's when i know that you're ready to get out of here. You know so. It's it's right when you get to that point where it's like. You're you're thinking on your own you know you're using all the years that you've been out the post aca flashy to really put that into motion you know and so i just found it as a great stepping stone. Allow me to be all another set of great relationships you know with the staff and it was actually jeremiah of pulse dock that i realized that cowboys are real thing. I was on the agricultural campus. In up into this point. I had been with straight. You know Why copes pipe pets beakers and it was like when i got over there i really was i jeans cowboy boots you know bandannas but it was still the same level of great science. That was going on so again it. Just kind ask to that death in wealth of who you are certainly seems to apply in your case that to be open minded about what the prospects might be because you went from. You know people basically in hospital settings to you know basically science. Yeah we'll buy I would sometimes go with my pi. We will have to inject the sheet with the prostaglandin hormone. And that would make dr in some of these places weaker by every day here in tennessee's of the locals year this They make sense but the forms you seeing on going down alcoa highway. It's real research being done on those places you know so i mean i would travel with him. We were Parral this she been Do the science there on the live models and bringing them back to veterinary hospital. Like it was just a whole now. The world was opened up to being in. I didn't realize even eastern see at that level was being done on really in my backyard. You know what. I mean so this talking about radin experienced. That's a map way to put it so. Take the opportunity if you get it. Be open to the possibilities of not staying in one way and go for right. Yeah that's huge. Did not limit yourself just because you think you're you should be one place if you have to stay in that thing again you said it best. Open yourself to the possibilities because else possibilities may bring you back to really where you want you know initially intended you just gotta give yourself a chance to asset that box. Also rachel thank you so much for spending the last few minutes with me talking about your experience in your work. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much for having thank you so much. "I. I'm super interested to see it in the watch those knockoffs didn't look great. But like you can never tell when you know whether i when i when gizmodo i leak the iphone four thought it was hideously ugly and now it's like one of my favorite designs ever core just in person So you can never tell from the leaks. But i really wanna see how. This design. Language is applied to the watch. Absolutely absolutely i you think about the the rumor think it was yesterday or maybe wednesday That we're looking at a forty or forty one and forty five millimeters on the watch. Were you know we. We spent a couple of years at forty and forty four. And we're going up one millimeter on each watch. And why would they do that. And then you're absolutely right that the flat the flat sides is basically. It's rolling up the glass a little bit from the sides because right now it's the glasses curved and they're adding they might add a little more display there but yeah the the this i will continue to ipads vacation Of everything at this seems like it's even more spoke than even the iphone design was to the apple watch because the corners are supposed to be more rounded but still with the flat sides. Yeah again at some of the rumors. Break my heart. But there're my own damn good. It's like i was buying whatever unique. Finish that came out with every year. What i wanna keep it for a year and it's expensive so i keep telling myself every year. I'm going to go. The aluminum gonna go for the aluminum and ceramic titanium bamboozled into getting it. But if they're really they're really going to be ending the additions finishes it won't be any ceramic or titanium steel that greatly reduces my ability to hurt myself inch your wallet. You're well fix up yet And whatnot so yes down oliver. I mean one of the things. I would one of the things i would request from. Apple is if we're gonna we're gonna get rid of the addition finishes especially thinking of the titanium. Can we bring space black back to the the stainless steel watch. Can we get rid of graphite. Can we just look at grandma. Just air mass. Only right like you have to buy the spurs into the face black right now that or i think titanium edition i think titania comes base black but this this move towards black. Look i understand. It's more difficult to colorized like stainless steel that it is aluminum. Or i guess titanium although. I don't know that it's actually easier to colorized. I take him. But here's my argument. Your apple apple like you know you have all these arguments about what apple os to developers and whatnot. That how what they can afford. Because they're trillion dollar company. Joe but that is a. Oh joe. that's true. What do they owe me. They don't meet. i want them. What give me a a black phone. None of this graphite stuff. Yes none of this like black jet black and give me the piano vedro on yeah. Give me dorthe phone. That's what i'll do arena. Renamed my iphone to dorthe if we can get an owner lack phone darth boehner. Yeah it a watch to match. Like and i haven't. I don't think i've ever gotten a dark watch. Most because i don't think the band's logo that well with it yeah but But yeah it's my first. One was the space black Steel and i remember that i watched. That was an experience. Yeah it's so. Good i i would imagine. We're like last last year's series six didn't have much of an upgrade interpret performance of the series. Five from what i understand. Yeah it was just the Not without serious sex. Did the serious sex the thirteen courts. It was a series five at the it just had the. Oh it was the series five. It wasn't much of an upgrade of the four. That was really focused on the the always on display. Yes yeah I i wonder so one of the things. I wonder we talked about pants but Like will the ban still fit or is it time to say goodbye and start a new band collection rene get actually had people at apple say well we and i don't know if they're messing with me. I never know what we were thinking about changing it. But we didn't want to see you curdled up in a fetal position outside the event this. This is my question right. You know you think you're going to save Because they're getting rid of the edition finishes but then bam whole new band mechanism. You're gonna yes advanced. Get it like they won't change us to be different. It'll change that. They can make it better. I don't think they can make it better yet. Certainly certainly hope not right for sure. That's that's gonna be dark day for an ritchie. When they've only it's like we there's never a point where you can just go in if you are a person who's obsessed about having everything match exactly there's never been a period in time we go and buy or very well. I think there was once where you could get like rose gold and it was very similar. Rose gold Almost always like the blacks are all different where they changed the design of something before they before they get that design onto something else and it. Just be nice if you could have like. Here's my twenty twenty two collection of apple in all in space Pacific blue and all with the same hypothecation design a dunkeld to use your old bands. Oh no that's a concept steven steven you must now run laps sir or something penance that you not hard pushups hundred laps go yeah But actually here's an idea you know that black it just looks like a hole in the universe. Yes gear black. Let's get that. Let's get ends for that. Get watch casing. Let's just take everything gloss block all the things they're like a macbook pro six inch macbook pro and gloss black. Yes play like well last but yes please. I don't know why. But ever since apple announced the i mac and they showed us as beautiful colors. I've not been able to banish. The thought of a mac book ormoc pro in that blue. That wonderful blue from my mind. And i know it's not going to happen. I know that's a pipe dream..

Just waiting for someone to come out of in and out del taco and say. Hey tell me about the latest movie. And the latest movie i guess is black widow and someone wanted to ask about scarlett johansson and black widow so he said i still hunt out good work. Because i don't wanna be in black widow. It seems to me as i recall they. They went through a process where they aged. Oh like they they he and his partner were in. I think this child abduction weird kulti kids were kidnapped and murdered and it was ugly and gross and dark like that show is but it was fascinating and i think they aged like over a span of like twenty twenty five years and they did a good job of him becoming like this. Hard aged capos carried this weight of this ugly case on. He was a good actor. He wasn't he's got a cool foy. She's got this kind of. I've smoked nine hundred cigarettes and drank fifty scotches today kind of i. Oh god but there is also a ward mentioned. That is false witness. And that's true that a false witness can do a lot of damage if you are near the person and do this how force accuser works force accuser works by by being close by by being fellowship with the person than falsely accusing being forced witness that. That's how you do as a force accused you have to be near the person usually in continues contact between four is have some kind of relationship and then you you bear false witness against them without them knowing that would you does. That's you does paper but these people exist this. I've met this kind of people you know. And they can get real power you know. And that's basically yes it is. Yes it is you know. You can't do it if you're not physically close to them and it's very difficult to do when people do videos on the internet because i mean you can't bear false witness over video the video is there you know It can't but if you are close to someone in a room and it's between four. Is you think that fellowship in churches is somehow good to you know there are there are yes wits there are people who promote jesuitism people who are into catholism people who are forced accusers. People beer force witness and some of these people have developed a method that they know that they can get away with anything if they can be close enough to people so it's in a close contact that they Win and they do this because they bear false. "That are doing this. Awesome work and that you won't be tossing your money to a billionaire. He doesn't need it but actually supporting small business. Who every purchase is a huge deal to them. And that's been really exciting for me. Nerd out over how much i love columbus. I just think this city in this community is so amazing. So any opportunity that i can have personally in. We can have his team to boost that community. I think we should take the environmental impact of just turning to local. Companies is huge right. Because you're cutting down on just all the waste and the inventory and the transportation of goods so you get things that are more local it just reduces the carbon footprint of getting goods to your door it really makes way bigger than impacts than you would ever think if you start tracking every little step like if that water bottle. You got originated in japan. It had to either come over on a plane or a ship that was just leaking oil into the ocean and then it was put on a train and then onto a truck and onto another track to get your house and it was probably in a box that was inside a bigger box with a lot of that like giant bubble. Wrap they do these days so just for you to get this reusable water bottle that you were trying to make a really good choice. You had every good intention behind suddenly. You've counteracted that so if we can then instead go. Hey there. These really cool shops like reuse revolution. Dorthe mark enbridge park or cocoa shop that sell all these reusable goods. Isn't that a better choice. And you actually then get the opportunity to go out and meet new people in your community and support small business at the same time clogging those two places on purpose. I really love those especially in a year with covid where a lot of local businesses have struggled because people's shopping habits have changed dramatically so just realizing that yeah if we can support our local community that means we're going to thrive a lot more so many ways right we put money right back into columbus that means better infrastructure like down the road that means better roads better schools also means more local shops opening up which was always really exciting. I don't know that everyone else but being able to walk to get things. I need is such an immediate joy for me rather than having to drive super far to find what i'm looking for and like you said a lot of businesses have been struggling so any time we can make an easy redirect to something local in small just hasn't immediate major impact..

"We can see the cage. They knew the race war would be the game they need to play. For people to big teams. They used the media to feed the flame. Thanks about the song is called Fake Woke, and Tom, I have to tell you I just have to ask you some questions. There's nobody trusts anybody anymore. Nobody is who they say they are any more kind of what your song is about. You look scary e d o. I do. I think you look a little scary Serial killer White power guy. I don't know, but I'd like to have you ever killed anybody. Not not only on her only on record, Okay, all right, but I just want it because you get a wrap. No pun intended, um of being anti feminist racist. I mean, I get all of those things, too, but I want to make clear that You're none of those things, right? No, absolutely not. I mean, man, these air just like it just seems these days like everybody's so polarized from one another. If there's like a difference in opinion, especially if it's Regarding race or something on the LGBT Q spectrum or something like that. If there's a difference in opinion, it's like one side is automatically just he's a racist. He's homophobic. He's anti feminist. He's is this labels that People who I I think that they did have a difference in opinion, and instead of, you know, talking it out or or understanding somebody else's perspective. They'd rather just throw labels and scream on the Internet. You write your writing is really brilliant. You say? I think it's crazy. I'm the one who labeled as controversial. Cardi B is the role model for 12 year old girls, rappers pushing Xanax at the top of the billboard. But if I mentioned race in a song, I'm scared. I'll get killed for it. It's backwards. I love this line. It's getting exponentially dumb, more difficult to get a job than purchase a gun. Eminem used to gay bash and murder is mom and now he doesn't want fans if they voted for Trump. Yeah, I said that Search area. Um, your your lyrics. Uh, our er, not exactly Cardi B lyrics. I mean, and it's It's hard to find something. That is controversial today, but Don't think you're trying to be controversial. Maybe you are. It seems to me this is coming from you. And you're just stating the truth is you see it is that do I have it right? Yeah, that's accurate. Um, a lot of people like the label. This stuff is controversial and stuff like that. But, um, I think it's really just more an issue. It's uncommon for people to Especially in today's world, kind of honestly speak their feelings or their opinions on stuff and I think it that's so uncommon because people are scared of Cancel their crucified on the Internet. I think it's just so uncommon that when somebody steps up and says those things, I think a lot of people immediately Just start screaming, always being controversial on purpose, or she's click baiting us or whatever. And I think it's just that it's they're just not used to, um, hearing people speak their mind. Are you familiar? With? Who? Morgan Wallen is the country artist so years a country artist. He is, uh, iTunes. What was I know? I know what you're talking about. Really? Recent story. He he's getting canceled because he had Was drunk, and it was screaming like a racial slur something Yeah, he was, he said about a friend who I think was down on the sidewalk. He looked at another friend about his friend and said, Take care of that. He has mother. Laughing n word. So you know, not something that I you know, I say or what my friends to say, but he wasn't being malicious. And one way or another, their consequences for everybody's action. But he has been canceled. He has zero airplay in America. Today, his contract was canceled. Uh, Spotify dropped him. ITunes music dropped him. Who else? Uh, cumulus Hume. Youlus I heart radio. I mean, it's uh You have any thoughts on that? Um I mean, I think I don't think it's Acceptable sort of by anyone's standards ever toe use that word, regardless of its context. I mean, that's just my personal feelings, especially like Being in hip hop in immersed and black culture. That's not something that, like. I would never say that publicly in private is just correct. It's not not something that I do even when I'm saying Rap lyrics by like My favorite rappers, and I'm by myself Doing dishes in my kitchen. I'm omitting those parts of the songs. I'm just not comfortable personally was saying That s O s o. I agree with you 110%. I am exactly the same way. I don't like that word. I don't like it. I don't like it used casually, or, you know, obviously, in hatred or whatever. I don't like it and he shouldn't have used the word. But being said, though I feel like I saw the post that I saw last night was he had been canceled and he had been dropped and stuff like that. But I saw they took over like five or six of the top 10 spots on ice in charge. I find it interesting that iTunes music would make sure they don't play him on any of their stations. But they'll still make 30% you know, on all of the sales of his music, he's now Eight of the top 10 14 of the top 20. He had a number one. Yeah, you knocked. Well, No, this is Is this all music's on the country chart on the country chart? Yeah. Okay. Okay, um Yeah, Like, you know, man, I think largely like The canceling that's going on right now is Is ridiculous. I think that if you hear something that you don't like, then you switch the radio station. If you see something that you don't like seeing you change the channel. If you don't like what you're reading, you closed the book. All of this. Like Canceling largely in my opinion, is Ridiculous. Sometimes I think that it's Kind of justified And I think that maybe in this instance it is, but I also feel like these days. Americans and North America are obsessed with what they don't like, especially on the Internet. So it's like you could release the greatest song in the world. You could be the most PC person ever. Um and you can have a righteous movement and your branding can be perfect. You could be America's sweetheart and get very, very little traction. Um, as a musician or a Xanax or whatever. But the second that you're doing things that ruffle feathers or, uh, ticks people off. It seems like people just flocked to that. And in their attempt to sort of exploit your mistakes and quote unquote cancel you. I think a lot of the times they just end up blowing those people up there who might might be part of the case with this artist. I know for sure that I bid music for a long time. That weren't about my personal opinions. And I wasn't trying to intentionally ruffle feathers of people and made me that for eight years and had very little impact. And the second I started saying things that I was thinking privately. People that didn't like it ended up promoting me to such a degree that I found my people. At this point. We're talking. We're talking to Tom McDonald currently holds the number one spot on iTunes. Um, uh, He has a new song out called Fake woke. It was released over the weekend and has just been viral and just stormed the country. On Dorthe, America. Tom is the reason you do your own. You are your own producer. Um, you're an independent artist. You don't have anybody. You're doing it yourself. Um, I know another artist was the first to Think go number one on the charts with his as an independent artist, and the freedom he gives him is remarkable. Is. Do you think you'd be the same if you had to live in a box of a record label? I think I think it be night and day. Um Not only is it more lucrative financially to do this stuff independently, but I've maintained 100% of my artistic integrity. And I know for a part of me. I know for a fact that if I put my name on the line somewhere My like I spoke a minute ago about Um, being America's sweetheart that it's very easy in America to clean up the mass..

I don't know that that's true. I'm just accepting it. And I'm asking you if you are a trump or a Republican voter at this hour, Which of these two women bother you more in the House of Representatives lives Cheney, who voted to impeach Donald Trump or this woman who would support Donald Trump. To the ends of the Earth and says wacky things on Facebook. It's what I'm asking. So far. I've not heard one person say they'd rather lose Jamie. Say Stay, not one of you. I'm not here to argue. If one of you said Liz Cheney should stay. She's the more sober, responsible one. That's fine. I mean, come on in, if that's your position Let's go to Mary Ann. What do you say, Mary and good morning. I christen this response. Really? Who should stay? Haven't You should stay. Who should stay. Marjorie Taylor, really? Yeah. All right. I don't care what she says about anything, you know. Ah, lot of things like that are proven right? Well at a later date. Mm hmm. Yeah. You know, science fiction goes right. His praises brought back broke down on purpose. You got to remember he had the magazine George, but that's not It's not named after. Here's the thing. I don't look, I don't even know about any of it. All I'm saying, is they if people think you're not, so she's not so whatever. They say that Liz Cheney and Marjorie Taylor Greene or the face of the Republican Party in the House. So you're telling me that of these two women you would prefer she stay and Liz go, right? Absolutely. Because Liz Cheney is what to you. She needs to go. Why? Well, first of all products Cheney. Right? Well, correct. Okay, we'll hire the next two grown with him. But that's another story. But first of all, she voted two to impeach a president Trump. She's a phony. All right. 6108 50 09 90 Who goes who stays? I'm tackling this because everybody is telling us these are the two most important women in the Republican Party. Maybe all of Washington right now. Matching Downingtown. Hello, Matt. Very Chris. Good morning. Good morning, sir. Your your opinion on these ladies? Well, Dorthe Chinese daughter has to go. She's part of the establishment. She's always there. Dad was, you know she's a Cheney Come on. You know, Bush era people. Let's let's get them out of there. And Marjorie Taylor green. On the other hand. And you're really hold it against the conspiracy theorists at this point, honestly, so you don't feel uncomfortable If somebody corners you and says, Hey, she's nuts. Matt. She's crazy. Do you stand with that? Do you stand with the crazy things, she says. Well, even a broken clock, right? You know, all right. This is really something. 6108 50 09 90 Mart mikes and Yardley Hey, Mike. Good morning. How are you? I'm doing great greens. Gotta stay and I'll tell you All these I research and Maura Maura about what she's been saying, and it's all lies. They like the hole and a Senate anti Semetic was basically just because she was kind of blasting George Soros. So you know where that good a lot of stuff online people need to research. Yes. Instead, it's been taken out of context as well. Well, hang on just a sec. Can you hang on? You're my king Understood Mikes and Yardley all right, because I've got somebody Steve's and Philadelphia, Steve Steve's in filling that, Steve you say green. It needs to go and you say it's because you think she's anti Semitic. Is that right? That's absolutely right because she didn't just say space laser, she said. A Jewish space later laser she tied the Rothschild family into it, which is a known conspiracy theory. And and, frankly, you know, I don't know how informed the people have called in. Those four are on this issue. But if but if they are in front informative, too sad commentary Liz Cheney made an unfortunate vote recently. But she's been in Congress for I think six or eight years and has been on upstanding, conservative voice. This was an unfortunate vote. Only in the other hand, you've got Marjorie Taylor Greene, who definitely has expressed So meaty seventies, But but what I would say is every time that somebody mentioned larger retail's a green everybody's and fired back with Ilhan. Omar. Who people questioning her. Couldn't agree with that more. Mike. Do you wanna Mike? Do you wanna answer to Steve? Because I just thought since my Steve wanted to make this point, Mike, you have a thought on that. And he's right. You know, Omar? "To questions etcetera and the quite militant to participate verbally in the classroom. I'm just looking at those children because that overlooked by practitioners in sometimes said not Seem all that skill sets is not seen by practitioners. Because they're so quiet so it's about providing an opportunity folders. Linda's may be to develop some confidence in that own ability to actually express themselves in the classroom. And as an estimation by james al to save that there's about between two point six and five point two percents of children who experienced in the classroom. So i was thinking was that if we provided some sort of intervention eddie on that might mitigate any longer term consequences of having done society so that would provide did not support before it may be gets to become something a bit more. Savvy thanks ron. This is absolutely fascinating so i want to take a few steps back before we get into the kind of findings if your research or where you're at with that at this stage. You mentioned that often practitioners overlook these learners. So i guess maybe a bit of a paradoxical question. How do we as practitioners identify them and make sure that they're not overlooked. And you also mentioned that its practitioners who identified as quiet shy anxiously. How how might they identify themselves as two parts that questions. How do they should be like going here. Okay so basically looking at how to spot them in the classroom. It's looking at the fact that these children are by their very nature quiet and understanding the description of them. They've been called invisible children. Which i don't mind that label but tim and that comes from teachers so i think if you're a teacher or student teacher it's those children that if you're asked to name your thirty children in the classroom they're probably the ones you think about joshua talk about so it's not. Is that sort of thing. They also don't mind if they don't receive it immediate attention and they'll sit for long periods of time in the classroom waiting for it. There are also often and comfortable with open ended questions. We've found in our research that quite often the you're more able ghouls supplies to because they over think things and also they have often have strategies to avoid teachers gays and they kind of basically in the back of the classroom. Just getting on with things quietly. I think also the other thing that that is important. I mean we don't want to be labeling children. But i think we do tend to do this as teachers and make up online quickly children and i think it's important not not to do that. In this case and i think the other thing is looking weiss and children are quiet. Anxious this research rubin in essen dorthe view. Shyness is a choice. They say that children choose to be shy and they actively withdrawal from social situations now. I don't think that's the case. I kind of subscribe more to the idea of cake. And who says society of an inhibition to the end familiar so they are and if they if they're in an unfamiliar situation obviously very very very difficult times at the moment with covert. Stow one of the things. I'm thinking is they're going to be a lot more lot more children displaying. These quiet shanks just behaviors. Now and also. It's this idea of china's and cake in saying that shyness is an inherited trait which i subscribe to a little bit more and i think the other thing that we need to look at is the fact that shy children are often have shy parents and in my own experience of working with these parents. They're the ones themselves that will won't catch your eye on the playground. And so. I think that we don't not need..
