And then you watch Canada and it's like SGA and Brooks, like this is the best backcourt in the tournament and Brooks looks awesome. And you start thinking, oh, that four for 80, maybe not as crazy as it seems, cause there's not a lot of guys who have been in big games who can defend, who just aren't afraid. And I don't even know why I'm saying this, but I was like, weirdly happy for him. And I was probably one of the people writing them off, but you never like to write people off when they're 25. Maybe he'll learn from that experience. But it did make me think with Houston, it was like, okay, like they kind of nailed that draft. Shungun grew to 611 out of nowhere. Nobody was expecting that. Jabari Smith looked amazing at summer league. And now you have a real backcourt, maybe that Rockets team will be fun. But were you surprised by Brooks or were you like, oh, this was here all along? I mean, with a player like him on the trajectory he was on, I think you're always worried about just the tailspin straight out of the league at some point. A guy who shoots with that kind of volume and has that kind of confidence. I've always been a bit of a Brooks booster, and I really value what he does defensively. I really value, especially for a young team, or in this case, a very Canadian team, a guy who brings a lot of edge, a guy who has that kind of intensity, a guy who has the kind of on-ball defensive chops we're praising with Edwards and with some of these other elite defenders in the tournament. So the fact that he can bring that to this mix, I think is incredibly valuable. The fact that he's gonna bring it to the Rockets, I think is gonna be pretty valuable. You're gonna wanna pull your hair out sometimes, no matter when you watch him, but he's been just what Canada needs. And I think there will be nights where he's just what Houston needs too. And we'll just have to see kind of how that comes out over the grand scheme of the season, how everyone is feeling about the Dylan Brooks experience. But he has a lot to give. He has a lot to take off the table sometimes too, but he does have a lot to give. It's the old table test of taking forks and knives off, putting forks and knives back on. You don't know the simple words just moving around. You know, this is the last piece and then we can go. But the U.S. Canada game, I think is really gonna be a great sporting event. And I don't know when the finals are. I'm really hoping it's before football starts on Sunday. Cause- I believe it is. I believe it's an early start. Yeah, good. Cause that game is gonna be fascinating. And, you know, I think it's a big moment for SGA. Guys like Kelly Olenek, who have always been these annoying playoff guys who can just out of nowhere hit six threes in a game like he did against the Wizards that year. So you have like that factor. It's an interesting RJ Barrett moment. Oh yeah. When you stay out there in crunch time. You know, there's been some games when he hasn't even been out there. And then just SGA in general, like trying to put his real stamp, not just on the tournament, but be like, hey, I'm one of the best players in the world and watch out for OKC this year. And then on the flip side, all the USA plots that we mentioned, I think that's an amazing game. Like it's really one of the best international games we've had in a while, right? It would hypothetically be an amazing game. I feel like this is where your nationalism is subconsciously coming out because this happens every international tournament Canada shows up to. We get ahead of ourselves, penciling them into the final, penciling them into the semis. They always blow it. And I'm optimistic that they can, you know, change their stripes this time around. But I simply refuse to indulge any Canada hypotheticals until they show up in the actual game and compete in it. But I'm hopeful, like that matchup would be amazing. And it's been, I don't know, decades in the making at this point, we've been waiting for an actual USA Canada rivalry type game. Oh yeah. Well here's the other thing. No Jamal Murray for them. So you just add him. Obviously US is gonna have more guys, but the Jamal Murray SGA backcourt in the Olympics is gonna be unbelievable. By the time people hear this, Canada Slovenia is early morning on Wednesday and maybe Canada gets knocked out and people are listening to this going, look at these jackoffs talking about Canada US, Canada's out.
