"And back to the back to the The mouthwash the clorox seen She would have died. The patient one died if they would've had epi pen right. I mean isn't that. I think yeah i mean influxes present so many different ways but yeah i mean absolutely and mark and i. This is a hot button topic for two of us. Because when we talk about sedation or we talked about a clerk sitting allergies we also bring in this idea of preparedness drugs near emergency kit and do you know how to use them. I mean if you ever opened up an epi pen and actually do know how to use it. That's not the time to learn how to use it when somebody's having a problem being prepared and having the right drugs and knowing how to use them but yeah you know in a lot of these cases if dental offices are properly prepared right they can manage a lot of this stuff until help arrives and the right answers always call nine one one and then the there's a third case about gloria exiting that. I i always think about the two of extraction sockets. There was a third dentists that had nfl axis. Because i don't know why he was doing this. But he put chlor exiting solution on on a rag and was cleaning hard surface disinfectant and he breathed in the vapors and he actually had. He survived but You know so. There's really concerns and in that case actually. His team called nine one one immediately and help arrived than he was fine. But yeah that's again. Maybe mark wants to speak about this because this is something that we're very passionate about not only do. Should you have the right drugs in your kit and it shouldn't be buried in the back of your closet behind all the see. Fold towels you better where it is and you better know how to use it if the time arises. Yeah i mean it really is. It's like everything howard. It's all about practice practice practice and we always kinda tongue-in-cheek joke that at the end of the day. Who's the oldest person in the in the dental office. Kens oftentimes to be the dentist. So you don't necessarily have to be the one that's an expert at getting drugs calling nine one one in doing european abc's position airway breathing circulation definitive care You wanna make sure that your team is up today with their b. l. s. acl spa s whatever. It is because you know the the lake they save may actually be yours. This actually gets back a little bit to the idea of eighties. Also automatic external defibrillators. Dental boards across the united states as well as colleges in canada There has not yet been continents amongst all dentists. All dental offices requiring a dis. But you know it doesn't make sense if we have a dis in casinos in elementary schools in libraries supermarkets. Why wouldn't you have an. Add in healthcare providers. Office it. it just doesn't make sense Those people are waiting to be regulated to do. So i think now is the time to get ahead of this curve Because this is one of those true lifesaving Machines that That really again in your hands Makes the most madison's at one one of the funny stories was actually from a washington state where they were the first state to regulate require all dental offices to have an. Add present Which makes sense in addition to the the dental emergency kit and then They actually retracted that Not because patients complained but because orthodontic or north donna. Group got together and said you know why do we have to suffer the burden of having. Add at our office. When most of the patients we treat our just kids and and so the the board rescinded on the requirement. Not realizing that those kids don't drive themselves to the to the orthodontist office. Oftentimes it's a parent or grandparent So since then they they have actually gone back and they they are one of the leaders now in enforcing the fact that then law offices should carry eighties Jason mentioned too because our focus is always on patient as well as medication safety that there are really only seven drugs required in the minimal dental emergency kit and if you do sedation dentistry. You're going to add two more so you don't need to get yourself locked into a serious drug collection. You know have be seven or nine drugs and know how to use them and make sure your staff knows how dial nine one one two while. i'm so i don't wanna leave him hanging in the air back florax seen are you. So you know there's are heard of eight billion sapiens. We see it with peanut allergies. Where i mean. That comedian That comedian who's always a comedian. Says you know if your son eat. Subpoenaed and drops dead. Maybe your son wasn't gonna make it. Would you say that scenes like peanut allergy. It's a so rare that you continue eating peanuts or you saying drop it stops. Yeah thank you i think. Let's put it back into context because cortex as you so often that i still think the risk is low but it's increasing. And why is it. The risk of these kinds of allergies increasing is because we're exposed to these things so many times or you can go to cvs. And by clark hexa dean hand wash clerk. Exiting and other products are in our cosmetics and creams in. So it's not usually the first time people get expose. It's the second time perhaps or even you know times after that and by further exposing people to all these things were seeing increased rates of allergy thankfully with clark students low but the reason i mentioned it is really like a psa which is hey. Don't this count people getting rashes and other parts of their body when you give them an oral mouth rinse. I want to understand that. There is a risk small but to be on the lookout for these things. I mean i don't know when the last time you prescribed clinton isis but we know clinton has kind of a bad rap for causing some stuff but every single time and it doesn't happen that much. I've never had one that not prescribing clinton mason for years but every single time i write a prescription for antibiotics not just clinton mason. I always warn people. Hey if you get some upset and it's worse than what you've experienced or just not getting better. I want to know about it. And so maybe when people prescription for chlor exiting you can get up front and say hey if you get any rashes on your body i want to know about it and this is just like we said up front stuff. You'll managing things before they become a problem so again. Maybe it's just getting the word out and appreciate the form to do it. Because you know when i looked into this issue mark and i wrote an article about this several years ago in ag general dentistry was just so eye opening because of how ubiquitous clerk sexiness. So it's rare i'm not stopping using exiting but i'm also aware of the problem or the potential problem. Get in front of it. I would also just jump in with the analogy Howard i know that when you and i are of the same vintage in when we were growing up there was no such thing as a latex allergy right i mean i don't i don't if i'd ever heard of latex out allergenicity until the eighties and now i mean. It seems that we have a lot of people that are allergic to latex. So it's the same type of thing it's over exposure multiple different Our entry points from from dentistry to cosmetics to other other items that are out there so as more people get exposed to these these chemicals you are going to start to increase the the potential.

It always comes out slightly different. It's inspired by what you thought it would be in the same way when you're making music. You Might be thinking of a sound, and you can never quite get it exactly how it is in your mind, but it's close or it's something different. "For the next seven hours. That was such a fascinating conversation. I mean i thought i knew a fair bit about games but clearly i knew nearly nothing compared to Jack who is such an expert on all of this. The gaming world is so much broader than i realize so. I've really enjoyed learning about that. I also was really encouraged by the way he talked about using games to actually help our kids heal and to experience different emotions than they might be able to experience otherwise. I thought that was really really useful literally. We could've talked for hours as you can tell he was a talker and he spewed out so many different games and i know if you are driving or doing or busy with your kids You might have been thinking. What was that. He said that fast. I don't know so i have collected. All of them in the show. Notes will be there for you. But i like my mind again. It's spinning with the possibilities of all the things and again i'm like. I wish i would have known this earlier. If you would like to connect with jack and pick his brain about all the games or the ways that games can help your family or even join one of his online groups coming up you can go to the donna group dot org and that's spelled b. o. d. h. a. n. a. And of course that will be the show as well. If you like this episode you might also want to go back and listen to episode one twenty three with michelle baton who talked about the value of play and parents with children. You might also like the episode with chef which was episode one eighteen where he talked about connecting with your kids in the kitchen through cooking and lastly melissa you interviewed your husband patrick way back in episode thirty seven about connecting with your kids through video gaming so all of those episodes as well as all the links to the games that were mentioned in this.

"PSG nobody called clubs that we do. he'll be coming up at two o'clock this afternoon it is game day we got you covered as we preview bears and red skin let's get against the desperate Redskins will talk to. and our own Jeff stickers saying can Mitchell vesti finally get the offense rolling Walter recap the series that lies cubs in cardinals it'll spin around the end of. I'll bring you are the good the bad and the dirty from the weekend and I'll take inside walls world we get started to watch. one thousand. what about the S. P. N. one thousand. with Pat Boyle I'm David Kaplan Jesse Rogers brought the battlefield Donna groups he feels first for luxury cars and SUVs fields auto dot com we'll get back to these calls because we got a lot of them to get through jadis gonna join us for the bears update level watching a perspective was shot no shot but we start right now with Jesse Rogers who was there yesterday and he was there all weekend long just say good morning what's happened fellows all right GSA you had an excellent article that I highly recommend everybody read at E. S. P. N. dot com where you broke down this championship legacy is gone and now there's got to be impactful change and I was telling Pat I think Pat agrees and that'll speed for Pat but I think he agrees that this falls at the feet of free all but chose not without blame nor are the players not without blame so where do you start to get meaningful change to fix this thing yeah it's a great question I think your points are are are well made there really is a lot of blame to go around and it's it feels like in watching those games and being there it was and I wrote this a lot in the in the article talking about the baseball gods there was just signs everywhere telling you where you've come up short you're you're not deep enough. I wanted enough you don't have the the culture you once had and it to prove even more we're gonna we're gonna knock out the the best player on the team that lives ninety miles north of you who who has a payroll a hundred million dollars less and we're gonna let them keep winning and and we're gonna show you what a good culture in a good vibe is all about and then you know what we're gonna give you these other moments were gonna trade you Cristiano swing to bring you UP Niko Horner we're going to have results come off the the trainer's table and bring yeah and none of the none of it changed anything that went on in that team so I think the the evidence is in we don't need anymore searching for for for if they're wrong something's wrong a what's there is something wrong there's no doubt about it this weekend highlighted all of that it'll start with the manager and that's okay because a new message new voices is part of the changes that need to be made that's just how it works the next thing is is is new blood there's no doubt about it now how do you change your court well that has to come from your star players obviously and I would not expect every star player back I think that's the only way to to to to up up you know up in this whole thing in in in move move forward to the next next group of players so let's start with that one chord guy gone a manager gone and then you start to fill in you know the pieces it it's not like you're gonna turn turn the whole roster over but you're gonna turn enough over that a new culture will emerge granted with a lot of the same players but not all of them and certainly a new voice in the manager's office that that's kind of my take ours let's start there Jesse with Choate must've been kind of weird I would imagine around Wrigley yesterday being chose likely last game as manager of the cubs at Wrigley Field wait when it's all said and done in your writing this story say next week about his time on the north side what do you think the biggest. blind spot was for Joe was it accountability was it how we manage the bull pen was it where the culture is now to where it was in twenty sixteen were what what do you think his biggest blind spot is yeah that's a good point first well you'd be that last thing you said but let's let's all agree on this ninety seven percent of what you're mad and has done is cubs manager is very very good to very very excellent let's not get that it's just the ending that's bad I mean he helped them win a championship there's no two ways about it he up then continue on that play up right afterwards but the ending is obviously it bad which it it happens a lot of guys it's the last thing you said I think the culture now compared to what it was in sixteen and I think I've said this many times on the show I think he had to realize that doing the same thing that he's done for twenty thirty years may not work in a world that we live in post cubs World Series you see what I mean I've said this a lot it's a different world the motivations are different I mean we saw this little bit with the bears in eighty five and all that stuff your you you you I I brought this up many times as an example do you think Mike Montgomery is complaining about his role if the cubs are still chasing that dream if they're still chasing that title do you think anybody is stepping out of line and I think I say the answer is no and I don't think feel or Joe realized what world we live in when the Chicago Cubs win the World Series and how much adulation you get let's face it red Sox fans are quicker to turn on you after you win a championship the cub fans would be that's just the way it works this is a city that was waiting for this for a hundred and eight years and I don't think he managed accordingly after the fact put put to think he would change his approach his style isn't that a little presumptuous I mean. Joe is any part of the reason why this team had success any change the culture is because he he was genuine he was. he was the same every day it might have been a little quirky was some of the things the distractions he would have but to think that he would change post championship I I don't know who would it at that that stage of their career and that's what I wrote in my article that this may have happened no matter what Joe Maddon did that this this week where we were going to end up in this place anyway meaning you need some new blood to to to you know sort of re capture that that kind of vibe that you had back in sixteen fifteen sixteen even seventeen that this was this there was almost maybe there was nothing he could do because once you win it all it maybe maybe you need to change everything because guys are gonna relax by nature in a sense but I will tell you Pat I don't get a but I don't necessarily agree with you you you have to sit down and realize okay Mike my team is getting further away from what they were I might have to change some tactics and cap you've been on this may be a little bit heavier by hand when you lead the league in outs on the basis a little have your hand when you aren't as focused defensively a little bit heavier hand so some of those sort of things may have come into play now look I know I'm no expert I I'm not saying I know more than Joe manners you actually understand what I see from afar and I'm not sure I could have poor start although I actually talked about a post cubs World Series world and it's different and it's different and I don't think Joe worth the recognize that I don't think the fans recognized it but I certainly did because you cannot tell me in the end I'll just use the hunger work are you can't tell me the hunger and motivation is the same after you win a championship you can't tell me they can't just say let's go back and do it again I think in seventeen the idea of repeating carried itself because I like seventy and no problem was seventeen but after seventeen I think things started to to sort of fall apart it starred unravel little bit and let's not forget jetting Theo did not put Joe in the best position to succeed this year. and even making a lame duck guy it it's still not it that hurts him as well it does if they'd given him one more year I don't know what happens this year but it can only help they did not do everything they could to help Joe Maddon certainly the closer position I think is the biggest indictment for for what genteel done over the last twelve months we're talking to Jessi Rogers when we got to get out of here just you were lucky height on top I gotta ask you one quick technical thing okay I'm I'm I'm I'm gone all weekend my son got married Pennsylvania they get first and second the seventh inning they're down a run and Ian happ is up and you don't want guys to second third and my phone's ringing and it's Frank Thomas a hall of Famer look a ghost is your manager out of his mind okay sitting to nineteen I don't care being run into one you bond and get men to first second third with one out. well he said he he doesn't basically he said he doesn't believe in happens about there hasn't sac bunt did since seventeen then take your mom put. I I agree with you on that one I absolutely with you on that one you are you are scrambling for runs nothing says he's gonna get the bunt down the run across but that was probably the best option compared to what what came afterwards I agree with you on that one I think there are yeah this is not been Joe's best year in all those little areas and I've said this you know in the I know you got to go he doesn't have the sixteen Jagannath cubs you gonna manage with a fine you know fine tooth comb and it didn't happen he didn't do it with the pope and and and seemingly eating doing another moment as well it's not always fault though he wasn't set up for success got a runny didn't out managed to get into your mistakes either say guys all right have a good day guys Jessie Rogers will get back to more of your calls JT's in Washington stand by this is ESPN one thousand..

"Of playing it often it's someone else's responsibility the people they pay people do that one would do this running taken up people just walk by walk by stuff like if you're walking by a homeless person and they come in you're three feet and you stop what you're responsible for. were you responsible for as a person wanted to be productive and serve other people are you responsible to say hello or just to one person because if you have eye contact they're gonna what take all the money from you know. what are you afraid of hi how are you today. that's all people want here sometimes if you have some spare change great give it to all but you're not obligated to do anything except be a better human being the people by saying hi and be nice what is the craziest thing when you get around a bunch of negative people Saturday night for example my daughter and I. she brings out over it because of how much tensions in that room until shipper headphones on because that would block out all that noise that it realize that was happening at first. but I went out to a concession stand out stream we polite in the person wouldn't even acknowledge I'm like really we have a great day and just walked away. that person was being passed because they were there they want to be there then we then we get down to our seats and I'm on the outside so I construct my legs out I get up and down get up now personal having us do he. I'm sorry. I didn't complain why would be the purpose of your writing right down the people next to us. they realize that I'm with my daughter. the guy said something he was farther away his whatever girls from license hate shoes will get here I respected that. that's how my energy can influence those people they knew I wasn't just being loud obnoxious with my daughter there there are two other guys in front of us they had their kids with them so you know they're getting up and now we're just making fun of the up and down we're having a great time watching everything but I'll tell you what there were so many parents in the audience were screaming at their kids in the hall ways and arguing with their partners about stopping just your teen right why are you here that you're like that all the time now what happens is you get a bunch of collective people together that negativity is insane guess what next time we buy a box we invite friends to it and pay for that way because this is what Megan and I talked about what money does for me it gets me away from negative people it allows me to isolate myself that I don't have to worry about my family being hurt or being pushed around we were. it wasn't so much the physical all we you you need to separate ourselves. energy because what you're going to ask you like what you were talking about when you guys got accented the night was like the kind of conversations and attention and energy coming off of people was so like chaotic yes and I was like so then we were talking about then we start talking about like what really is a purpose for money because I think sometimes we see people who make more money it whatever way they make it that's not the point of this conversation and we're like all they think they're better than me because they like hired the person for the private you are or they think they're better than everybody else because they live in a gated community sounds like all my gosh on it like just hit me. people are all a people are like wrong for seeming access not really true but what you're actually doing is you're protecting yourself not from people in general who were gonna light comes. now we're talking about you're actually protecting your energy the old and your cell from the negative energy that's bouncing off of all those people that's what you're protecting yourself here's the thing guys years ago that wasn't the case we would get tickets to go along people have a great time having fun it's just seen in the last five years people become very irritated even driving out on the road there all they'll do all kinds of things you try to merge over they jump in front of you also licensing just like in our industry search on in our book we have a coaching business an online trading business we are business coaches in high performance coaches I do business coaching Shonda high performance and mindset. and John and I join other program so not only do we run our own mostly group programs insurance a lot of one on one coaching we have a master mind program and we have a group program and we are also part of other programs what other mentors and coaches why do you join those kinds of programs why do you surround yourself with certain kinds of people who have a certain level of energy a certain kind of attitude it's not about like how much money you're making but it really is like you put yourself in an environment surrounded by people who have the kind of asking the energy that you really want to be surrounded by in this is resting. some people have certain energy and the error is that they're enjoying and some error is they they don't they don't have the energy that's the interesting thing that's been shipped a lot lately is how can you have a great energy in one air your life but not another and that's when it really work with people honest why not have the energy to write everything you're doing and what you see is a lot of people get into some. I would love to see people who were diving in a hundred percent into something because they enjoy it not because they're trying to avoid something else I watched guys stay at work find a hobby not because yeah they enjoyed it but they're also doing it because they want to go home and you were the chaos of the crazy kids and a wife that they don't really like they don't talk to anymore so I'm at work. or I'm going out I've got this to do where I got this trip. and they're just avoiding the inevitable they're gonna have to have that weird conversation they're gonna have to have a better relationship with their children otherwise what what you teach you're never around. fighting for them no you're not. rather distracting yourself let's get real I've met some amazing fathers and mothers out there who have the job have the money to have the social life we have the intimate life of their partner who enjoy their kids to make efforts to get back on time for you know the basketball games of football games are fully invested because they're not using your hobbies is distractions are using as benefits that's your discipline is when they have a hobby the family goes with them so my one buddy Jason Truesdale I mean Jason you're watching the. props because this guy doesn't all does it all volunteers at his church helps out emerging as the coaches chairs in basketball and football runs a major corporation that people didn't take whatever work please join it like this guy does wife loves his wife great friend you'll pick up the phone when you call why because he wants to always better not only himself with the people you surround themselves with so who would not want to be around people like that so that's why we get on here and say Hey it's only two weeks in the January don't give up guys find those disciplines that you're enjoying if you're not sure about exactly where you're going you may have a goal here or there reach out to people like such as ourselves or other people in your community who were doing what you want you're you're doing like. action star program you do over there do you want to go with you and check that out that's the thing you got to do because you know it's better to go somebody Donna group program that it is by yourselves well I think sometimes why people get to a place where we should be all de motivated like now's the time like John said. this next week like some of you may already be waking up in the morning any off like that's how I describe John or he'll say like Meghan you're so often like yeah I know like what's the deal and I think one of the reasons why we can become so de motivated and so off which then like. kind of knocks us back into just being on auto pilot and being on auto pilot with how we're running our day how we're running our lives how we're thinking in one of the things that really helps me and this is so necessary in it ties back into what I said a few minutes ago about we actually do have total command over how we feel how we think and what we do on a daily basis it is so incredibly critical and vital that we know and that you guys know exactly what you want in life you got to know what you want in every single area of your life I'm gonna know what I want to get out like why am I going to the gym what do I want to look like what do I want to feel like when I go to the gym do I want to eat really nutritious foods or do I just want to pick up whatever my stomach one that on healthy when I go to the grocery store really hungry what do I want in my business I don't want to show up every single day my business what am I actually working for to make money in my business what are the things that I want in terms of material things or experiences things we want to do in our business the times in my life when I've been so one clear on what I actually want and unclear on who I really am that's what I feel like I'm just kind of like on this never ending hamster wheel and life is going and it's moving like where is it really going and I remember back in the day I would just like to find myself every single year at the end of an a year so excited for the next year and everything was going to be so different it was gonna be like this was gonna be the year but because I didn't have these daily disciplines in place and I wasn't actually clear on what I wanted and know what. so vividly that I can picture in my mind everything like I would get to the end of that year and I would have the same results and then again on myself up I'm so excited this is gonna be so different it's going to be amazing. and then I go a year and I end up with like I my life would look the exact same all over again and I'm like what the heck am I missing and it sounds so simple but yet so profound like every single day I spend time getting really clear on what why what what do I actually want what do I want my life to look like I don't want to deal with the thoughts I want to think what are the things that I want to bring from my head and my ideas into my actual reality and I pictured in my mind I write about it I think about it and that happens and I don't question but it's not going to happen I don't know down for a week worry that it's not gonna happen I'm not freaking out like but I can't do it because I don't have the money for it I can't do it because I don't have this resource because if I actually want to everything I need to bring that into my life already exists everywhere around me and you're right it's not a just a let's do it for a week and then you're like we don't. the daily discipline it every single day I'm doing that. morning Friday either in the Monday through Sunday and I spend probably a good forty five minutes every single day in the morning from about eight to eight forty five in the morning just doing that kind of and the only reason I know it's Mondays because we take pride in school so I made a post we're at this that monster jam there is like it Saturday said was Friday. when you work yourself you don't know what day it is I mean really in Monday's thanks Monday right yeah it's just a day make the most out of that day Friday is not a better day than Monday Friday is just more for two people on the road because they think they're gonna go have fun. they get out of work earlier white wiser traffic busier on Friday because people are going to go do something more exciting because all of our lives there Wednesday living for twenty eight percent of their life which is Saturday and Sunday. that's when they think life happens in in the it it's it can make it happen on a Monday or Wednesday so that's the big thing is if you guys ever wanted to take what you're doing to a completely different level. they're just fed up.

"Studio with me on July the twelfth, we've got a show coming up with mary-anne Bannister Marianne and her husband rocky lost there. Daughter. Claire, marie. I think she was a sophomore in high school. Lost her to cancer, and they've established a foundation to honor her dawn, and so we're going to have and not to belabor, because I thought that the show tonight, but diagnosis, miss, and we're going to talk about the thing. Like, what are you gonna look for and miss that, but? Tonight show we're super excited. We've got my guests tonight for the whole hour that were here, a little bit less than an hour is Randy fine. And Randy is a Baltimore girl. She's a Baltimore girl will bring her on just a little bit. But let me tell you a little bit about her. She grew up in the pikes Ville area. She now lives in Florida's, he's joining us from Florida and she wrote a book, she's written two books. She's written two books. I've shared both of those with you her first book is called fine. Finally, my story of hope love and destiny. And so here it is. And you know it's funny because Randy told me when we talk about an older she said Bob that wasn't very good. I just started out as a writer, and I loved it, and we'll talk about it. But the, the main book, the, the big one, the big work is close encounters of the worst kind. And Randy, I think is really the leading authority on narcissistic personality disorder. NPD my friend, Dr Dan, and I were talking about arms logging. Dan may call in because he. Treats people with narcissistic personality disorder. So this whole hour is going to be devoted to narcissism and addiction narcissism in addiction. What do people do when they're in a relationship with a narcissist? First of all, you've probably don't even know it ran. He's going to give us some sides. What to look for on? If you're in a relationship with the nurses, you and I were talking little bit ago, you a lot of this stuff is new to people is new, right? I mean, you've heard the term narcissism but narcissistic personality disorder. Takes it to a whole different level. And so Randy is going to talk about those things he's going to tell you some things to, to watch out for Bradley thank you for joining us. We're gonna bring Randy on it just a little bit. You know, we, we like to make the rounds here actually down. I had to drop my daughter off and harbor east on, and I just chatting, she was meeting a friend for the movies and I had to tell my daughter what to do to be safe in downtown Baltimore. I grew up in east Baltimore. Don it really, you know, I said, Honey, you know. Be safe. If anybody comes up and starts in trouble or you feel uncomfortable. Go into a store go into a restaurant. Ask for help, you can call nine one one and it's really terrible that we live in an environment. She said, dad, what was it harbors? Pretty safe. And I said it is, but done, we gotta be safe everywhere living in a different world today, we live in a different world. It's not changing either dawn now. It's not we're not going back to the way. It used to be when our parents, you and I are almost exactly the same age twenty days, apart when our moms and dads would say, come home on the street lights go on. That was your thing. Right. And you didn't worry if you were out all day. And now now if you're you heard from your kids and six or eight hours, they could be across three state lines with less the molester and you'd never see again. And so times of change. They're not going back. Hey Maryland Murphy. And so it's sad me, I'm gonna tell you what do I say all the time on the show that every city needs to be safe and clean? It's still not happening here. I saw no police presence while I was going down the harbor east. None. The traffic was horrible. Baltimore City cannot move traffic. What? What's going on with the traffic Baltimore? I don't see it. You know. I was happy to see that. Jack young, our mayor was was was annoyed and agitated all the crime and the violence of whatever and finally some emotion coming out of city hall, because we've been lacking emotion for a long time. We need to roll up our sleeves again. Remember, servant leadership focused on talking about the whole time you're the son of a preacher. Man. Hey, man. I remember that. Leadership and folks, that's where we need to go. What do we need to do to turn this city around? We need these politicians rolling up their sleeves getting their butts out there on the street. We need to see a police presence out there on the street. Okay. I have a friend whose husband's in a an attorney who was accosted on the street. Donna group of kids came up to him. What, what are you having your pockets slapped across the face in broad daylight on Redwood street cow just this past week Justice past week? Unbelievable, right. The guy's going to launch or whatever he was doing so anyway, it's gotta stop. We talk about that. And, you know, keeping the city safe keeping the city clean. But anyway, tonight's guest. I think we're going go to break probably one Anita, we've got about a minute or so we got about two minutes. We'll bring Randy on after after the break, because we like to go through, and I gotta thank our sponsors because without the sponsors without Cipriano without T HP, without Andrew all been identify waterproofing. We wouldn't be able to do this. We wouldn't be able to come to you, because, as I've told you many times I Facebook live this show, the Bob Hamm show is brought to you by Bob path as you heard at the top of the hour here and this done. This is my investment. My commitment. Real literally literally, you know that, you know, my story into turning things around to making a difference in to being passionate about, you know, it's one thing to complain about it folks here. Yeah. We listen, we all got to pick our spots on and this is my spot. This is where I think, correct me if I'm wrong, very good at it. Thank you. This is where I think, though, that I can have the most impact, right. Sweep a broom and at my sleeves and I've done that I've done all that. And I'm happy to do it, but I think here, kind of as a voice for a lot of people that maybe don't have one in Baltimore if you're out there listening to me, and you don't have a voice, I want to be that voice and the show, Don what we say is Bob, half show is where people go to talk. Listen and learn right. Remember that folks talk? Listen. Hey, amy. The Bob Hampshire is where you go to talk. Listen learn, that's what we're trying to do. So we bring, you know, great books to you. So this is another terrific book, that I'm reading what money can't buy is not much money can't buy, but we're not going to get into this. When tonight to share these things with you. Randy finds book as well. We're going to bring Randy on as soon as we get on the other side of this break. And, and Randy's gonna talk about narcissism and addiction. What to look for what does it mean we're going to we're going to break this down? I like that Bradley we're going to break this down for you. How many of you out there? I if you're listening to me on the radio Nana Facebook live. I can't see waving your hand even know what a narcissist is. I mean a lot of people it's tough to a tongue twister. Is it sees an ethic? Just to get narcissist out. But folks, if you're in a relationship that is particularly challenging to you. You can't figure it out. And maybe it's a as a as a former therapist of mine used to say, that's, that's crazy making that's crazy making. So are you feeling crazy because Dan what number to call? Yeah. Let's do that..
