In her energy medicine routine. She does really grew she does some really quick little and was actually WanNa make tips. I was gonNA give us two ways to use your body because the talk loud in the book about mindset. And I also do a free facebook live class every Friday at noon on my facebook page and I'm just trying to help people feel a little better. One of the things that I do in there is to teach them a little something they can do with their body right because our body. And our mind, the whole interconnected speaking in your world. Now, the body of the mind connection in the minds always telling video to do so we can also use her body to adjust our mindset, his wall, which is really cool that it works both ways right so there is some other tapping on not quite emt tapping where you're talking your way through with bothering you you're literally just tapping on points like your K- twenty, seven Kidney Meridian or you find Glan and then explain lymphatic. So you put those three tapping points together and you feel fantastic you walk out the door or you get on unimportant Zoom Com with your boss or You'RE GONNA do it right silly little things that you can do. To make yourself feel better about is great. So you said that is one tip and you also snuck in there without telling our listeners about your facebook pages it carry ruin. What is your facebook page is What is as pages facebook dot com slash Kerry tunes. So C. A. R. E. T. E. S.. and. Then, we'll. We start with a little meditation course, and then we do a little negative wisdom in the always. Energy Medicine technique that. Well I can really relate to you carry because I am also licensed acupuncturist. And I did have a great conversation with Alexis brink and she has the art of Jinshan and and it. You know it not everybody is open to all this though and You just have to plan your time to introduce people to it but. You're you really have a well rounded approach I love what you're saying. They will. I worked for Spare Change magazine, which is a large in England here is the largest holistic magazine, but I to Iraqi master voice health has always been very important license something. I was just really studying into so. The. Well. God. Bless you. Carry so. To Rep apart of this, now, the tips for feeling better everyday. Okay and Boy I'll tell you what our listeners could sure use that from what I get from. A show on Saturday mornings about covert and boy. So negative out there, and the media is so filled with negative. There's no positive stories in the media. So I think if we had some easy some not nothing's really easy easy. Some tips for feeling better everyday. That would be great. Absolutely. Well I think the number one thing that I would recommend is to really set up a non-negotiable morning routine I love a morning routine, right? You can kind of get out ahead of the day maybe you get up a few minutes early and you do your meditation whatever the things are you like to do maybe you go for a nice quiet walk outside whatever your morning routine is make it non-negotiable. These are the things you do for yourself. Right? Like I have these little cards and I talk about in my book I used to call me vitamins when I used to work incorporates. It'd be driving to work I'd go through Mike is of Mike Affirmations, my intentions, my goals when I wanted to remind myself because we all need to be reminded right. So when you set up a morning routine. And it's non-negotiable. Nothing's GonNa get in the way that that way I can make sure before the stuff starts hitting the fan I did least. Right because no, it's GONNA. Station and I've done my my workouts in the day and I'm ready to get on it. So I think it really helps you start your day in a positive mindset before that TV it's turned on right So I definitely recommend a morning routine and then the second thing I think it's really super important and you already mentioned gratitude which I love..

"And we're both delicious, and as our other people choose the food thing, but that's my earth coming out. And so how you find, your mission is by not trying to win it down and dilute it Duh Duh distill it down to one thing, but CNN as a mosaic or as a composite, that's created by how you choose to live and express yourself in your life, and not just outward, but what Njit's bring you most alive, and if you can answer that you know today, what brings me alive is reading this junk novel. Ben That's that's souls, purpose because something in that novel in the jumped dabble is going to be a thought or phrase that maybe two weeks later you find yourself giving to another person in a much less cheesy fashion. That will really help them. You Know Sh offs hotter for the fire of we. Alchemists all of US peaking experienced. Processing it the TAB allies in it and putting it out and other forms. And how you and your purpose is you look at what do I take in Kenai. metabolize at how metabolize it and process it. And then what what ways do I have to put that out. What forms are available to me? And frustrated people don't know their mission sometimes. They know they're missing. They just don't know what form. They can find out in. Thanks a lot for sharing. That's really really incredible. You share that because or keep to my mind is like as individuals you know we might not be doing just one thing. It sort of like a mosaic like you mentioned, and you might take discourse a that chorus, and read this book and come across this expedients or maybe go through this difficulty, but the way you express, it might be completely. Different maybe different as compared to how the author intended also and I think that's that expression is beautiful and the other thing I want to say is yesterday in my facebook I posted this question. If I were to give a dead dog. And what topic do you think? I should speak about because think that brings about what people think. You are good at or what? You would be great. I'd sharing talking about. And so thanks for sharing actually drive-by by hope. You enjoyed our session today. And you have now some insight into how you can start communicating with your energy and the different aspects of yourself the world around you, it's time to gather up parts of yourself that you thought was separate and use practices such as meditation or breath, work and yoga and journaling to go deep within so that you can connect with your higher self, and there's so much distraction in allies, especially with Youtube and social media in our mobile phones that we've forgotten to really be in touch with ourselves, our hearts, our emotions in our body to the key, then is to take a step back and any disconnect and then connect. Because as shock to go in one split, spiritual healing occurs as we begin to consciously reconnect with our essential, being the wise loving barthel creative entity that we are at our core. And with that being said we are now at our last round for today, which is guard the wisdom around four questions so that our listeners can take north. And Dick! So Ellen. "She has served on the Faculty of Energy Medicine by near Donna Eden since two thousand and dead and ditches. Healing techniques all over the world. And in today's episode, we're GONNA explore what she shared in her new book. The language. Your Body speaks to Ellen. Are you ready to inspire. Awe! But what I want to? Do is maybe help people. Find their inner inspiration, the inspiration that comes from them, because each of us is inspired by different things, and in different ways and I love to celebrate how different we are and helping people find their own path to To Awareness Afo I love that you sort of. Play the role of a mentor so that you can find people in the regulations and allowing them to take steps that will help them find their way, which is one full We usually start our show with the any inspirational court. Is it a cord that comes to mind right now? Something that you can share and maybe tell us how you apply that court in your day-today life. Oh Wow okay I'm not one of those people who actually works for quotes from quotes I actually like to come up with things to stay in the moment that are true for the moment because I'm really a language. And so That's a hard one for I. don't carry around. Quite S- per. Se so yeah. I'M NOT GONNA I'M NOT GONNA. Give one. In that way, but I'm hoping that as as we talk I'll say things that will strike on people and. They don't have to quote me, but maybe awaken them to their own quote. Create sounds good. I love that We're GONNA, have some gun moments. Today's episode because I love Qigong and I know that in your book you draw a lot from traditional Chinese medicine. Right when you talk about five elements, dog bar the Meridians and things like that So how did it all begin you like? Where did it all start Maybe she could talk about your childhood. What was it like? Okay well I was originally trained by inner teachers and It actually started as you know before I became aware that I was psychic or intuitive abilities, I was very attuned to languages and I talked a little in the book about how I used to listen to foreign language programs. All the time I was just fascinated and I felt like I am I could understand them, even though I didn't know what the words were I felt like there's something in language that speaks to US beneath the specifics of the words, and then later on. I writer, I'm a creative writer as well as I finished a novel, and I was waiting for inspiration and my grandmother WHO's dead so up behind me with a message for me. and. I thought well. This is interesting and I voted down. And through a series of coincidences, I ended up at a little, psychic fair, and the psychic looked at me, and she said you're maternal. Grandmother is standing behind you message for you, and then she repeated the message that I had gotten already. And I was a little bit of a Brat I said well. It doesn't have anything new to say. But, but I was very interested is. I s the psychic. Are you reading my mind, or are you really tuning into my grandmother? Is She really there and I give her credit because this was a five dollar reading and she said. My belief that your grandmother's really there and that you're picking up on her energy, and that you can get messages, and if you just would slow down, listen, you would hear them so couple days later I was cleaning my house, which was an unusual activity for me at the time. And I noticed the ticker tape in my head of letters and I thought yeah. Wonder if they say anything, so I started writing them letter by letter on the typewriter, and they were a message from my inner teachers, and they said we're going to teach. We're GONNA. Come train. You were GONNA give you. We're going to give you a insights. We're going to explain things, and then you're going to have experiences in your life that teach you how to understand the perspective that were introducing, and so I went through a very intensive at least well. Trained because say seven years, but it's forty plus years. I've been doing it for many many years now, and they're still trading me. But they did at some point. They. Get very ill and in the process of healing. You'RE GONNA learn how to become a healer. And I thought well. That's okay. Wasn't something that I set out to do. But it happened and moved to California I did get very sick. I went to a doctor who said I can't help you. What you have isn't medical, or you know isn't something that medicine can help you going to send you to a complimentary. Practitioner. And so I went to this applied kinesiology. She was a chiropractor and I'm Chris just enchanted? She worked with Meridians and and various subtle energies, and I had never heard of any of this stuff, and what I discovered in the process of getting better was that I could see my own energies I could see her energies. I could predict what the muscle test they do. Muscle testing in that tradition what they were going to say and I could look at the pills on the wall of the supplements and I knew which ones I needed, and what doses would be and ever occurred to me that this was possible except. There I was with nothing to live there while she worked with me and it was like I. This woken me and. That's how I got started and. When I was? Had recovered that practiser called and said Hey, can you do that with other people and I said? And I went in, and I was able to see what was going on for other people, so I started working in her office as a medical intuitive and people started coming for channel readings and healings and it just it just grew from there is just took off, and I've been doing it for thirty six years now professionally so. Understood people. Thanks for sharing that now you did mention in your response that the person that you were working with said that your grandmother was somewhere in the back, and she was trying to communicate with you. And then you said that in your process of becoming a heater you had to go through a healing crisis, and you had many health challenges. You experienced so firstly and the reason I ask. This is because many years bag somebody that was in my college..

And I went in, and I was able to <hes> see what was going on for other people, so I started working in her office as a medical intuitive and people started coming for channel readings and healings and it just it just grew from there

"Careful enough I go I don I could have done things differently. She could have done things differently. But it the learning experience When your mind has in mind altering chemical what that does to your body? Yeah because I haven't been taking those. It's it's like a high. Here's an awareness that I didn't hang out and how we we do all right. There was a lesson in there that somehow needed to orange so now I mean it's really interesting that the last couple of months I've been working bingo and invited invited to and talking to people who are substance abuse counselors anti like. Oh maybe I needed that as Harrison techniques. That can really help and help your people that are dealing with addictions and maybe help with your compassion achieve so taking my own experience. How can that benefit others ray? You found the gift within the chaos as I Gatti. Yeah actually like that unless Shit. Yeah Yeah you can see. We're able to finally you know obviously in the midst of the chaos. It's incredibly difficult. If not impossible from one it's over and yes you've processed it is facing when I can look back and go. There was a gift in there. Yes one of the things was getting by the Humanitarian Committee. We also have a part resort call. Wellbeing is to WANNA do is teach these techniques next to people so they have them before they go into crisis they can to stop and do the Nova the heart hold the Coming hug where they can do the hard cold or they can do the you know they can do something. That helps reduce the activation moment. And Mike Dan who C- who says you know it's like the brain That are you familiar with that brain model. Yes yes right yeah. Hey let's talk about you. Flip your lid with these students to help Your Lid Quebec on that. Then you can make a better decision Honestly you're not GonNa do them while you're fleeing from a fire but when you're safe to do them so you're not continuing continuing to be fleeing from the fire in Lever Sean Right. Yeah teach people reach people. I love it So my question. The you've already mentioned her name but I'm going to ask it so if you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive to help you with your journey. Who would be? I think Admin a lot of people both the comprehensive energy psychology of That you know if I'm looking at again teaching people who reach people I think Donna Eden we'd be one because she is energy hero who sees energy and I don't see energy and I'd like to and on her husband David Feinstein. I had met him and I work with him. And they they are just an amazing couple and You know I really thought about that. One and he's like a she just kept coming. Coming up is a NASA person. I'd like to really I guess I it's like when I went to Orlando to a year and a half ago for the energy conference. She was supposed to be a speaker on Monday so I paid extra to go to that. And then she had some kind of a medical emergency and she wasn't able to come to that underscoring home so I can't slip it because because I wanted to be in her energy field I mean I can feel the change of energy between as I work on Jalen and but but I'd really like to be physically in her field may be able to go take an energy medicine quest someday. Yeah I love it I I have one one person one time and it was a child. I worked in the mental health field in school system. And and I was working with the Kiddo and This was a fifth grader. And she's we were sitting there talking announced that she stopped and she said I. You make me feel safe. I like be sitting with you. She said because you have a white light around you and I was like all it made me feel so good that by energy that I was giving off was this you know calming energy for this child. That she she picked up on it. And it's actually solid So made me feel good that I was on the right track. Yeah Yeah and too. Many kids can see the energy and in the end they feel it definitely feel it right. Yeah so anything else that you wanNA talk about that. We didn't get a chance to touch on. Just look at your questions. I don't think so what Chris Jess what would be my dream job. I pretty much have my dream job. I would just really like to be able to reach people You Know I. I like to travel but I I'm not I'm not one of the People Wanna go over face traveling but the power of zoom like. You're you're reaching people I mean doing during that To train people like online. Or even you know locally. You're young Gal for whatever not far travel but but to to reach more people uh-huh and to see the ripple because when when thing I want to mention on the back of this also Vanilla Homina are You should interview them. Some time on they are from Sweden and their Their website is peaceful heart network. Look and they go all over war torn countries and they teach the the trauma tacking techniques. which is in the middle there that and they are they work and it's a it's tapping without words and because the language which different so they go into the refugee camps they go where the orphans the widow on and and they teach? I think they should be nominated. Predicts the Nobel Parts also created an online APP inset self-help for trauma that ORG in. It's free in this little little like cartoon character. They call Wiki in. He's in any conceded. Troy mothers guns in all this is like a little refugees like teletubby and And then he gets his message about tapping an teaches you to tap along with Commissioner Michigan background. And so my collie often Shasta which is north of here where they had all the fires on. She said the the The firefighters used the schools are using so it they they are getting that word out and using using the Chapman and There they will call resolving trauma moderate free on their on their website the peaceful heart network and so on their maids people and and one of the things. Is there going to someplace. And they'll teach five people or so pretend people whatever how to do the shopping. The main people and that with a with the caveat these people teach five people each and so that now back to the camp and there will be twenty people tackle then go back camper. It'll be two under people tapping so that that each one teach five. Yes Oh and then yeah the multiplication of it as a CNA and they are doing amazing amazing work and they just had on they were twigs a pita stapleton. WHO's a researcher from Bonn University in Australia Australia on they they did put together research project to see because they had kind of a keep track of results of many people are the differences but they did at official research? I don't think is published shepherds on the getting ready to read. I wish wikipedia can put that on your right answer also and then the other thing that's Speaking of Peter Stapleton is that on. "Are unaware or not knowledgeable. People out there doing. Espn they are you know. EMT therapist Not Coaches and not realizing that. There's you so much more to it. Anybody can learn to tap but there's a lot more to now and I think that that can be true with with anything when I first started. Em Dr I went to a emt are certified therapist therapist with the. You're sure yeah and oh my it was horrible because he basically told me Well one he insulted me on so many levels as a a woman because he said I have a fear of driving and of highways it after two sessions. He told me that I was cured. Thanks and he said you just have to realize that you'll probably always be afraid of driving because cars are big and scary. And that's where he laughed at Chapel Dot right and I just remember sitting there like did he. Just tell me that I'm afraid of driving because I'm cars are beacon scary for me. They I so dumbfounded so I ended up reporting Hamden found another amazing therapist and we it worked for four years. So yeah that tells you that. He had no idea what he was doing. So Yeah Yeah and you just have to be careful of I think again you know it is the energy thing you'll know when you're working with someone if it's working or not. Yeah and one of the things. I teach people what I've discovered really in the last. I don't know five or six years Is that on. I think I think what it raised like. Twenty five percent of the population are energy sensitives and And most of them don't know the right and so that's part of what I if this young woman dwell both I three people this week adopted by energy sensitivity. One of the questions. I asked how people self again Klein's you know if you're if you're feeling pretty good and you go out someplace like to the store to the bank. Were you have to stand in line and you start getting a headache or stomach. GEICO feeling upset about something and they're like yeah I hate to go out there. Banks Egg Weinstein or have to do that. I go to the grocery store. JERN energy sensitive. What's happened is that you've picked up somebody else's energy and and taking it on and then if you don't know that it somebody else's you think yours? Are you talking like like an impasse liking it. But but but it's even more so that were they really. I can impassive during like rake your something. Actually physiologically take it. Take that energy from the other person. This is just like when somebody's feeling bad. They're sending out negative vibes so to speak. They're sending out energy taint energy. And if your energy sensitive euro picking it up and so when I teach basics teach people is to just ask ask you know when you start feeling like you don't want to be able to say is his mind. Oh I Mrs Mine and trusting your body to tell you whether it is until if it's not mine I let it go and if it is mind than something I need to work right go home and journal and the right when I teach is the Donna Eden Zip up. Are you familiar with that now. Okay so the governing governing Meridian. Centurion I don't I don't pay attention to the Meridian I I don't know the names of all Meridians So there's a meridian that runs from the GOIN- up the front of the body to just under the lip. That's when as we tack. And so what. Donna Eden Energy Medicine person is she calls zip up. It's just imagine zipping yourself three times research visit with address and just letting it go and what you do you should protect your shockers over shockers impeach him up other people's Energy and so I did that before. Have client rhetorical on any glazed. Like you know. I know I'm doing somebody else a favor but I really don't WanNa do right. That's super cool. I love learning that kind of stuff. Yeah yeah she's really kind of simple and you know an end. The knowledge that that's what's happening is so freeing. No it's not me. I'm not going crazy. And so that that helps people who shift from the not being able because they've tried to many within it hasn't worked because they walk out of the opposite. Nee You big scary car. Why did I hope you tap that out so we have to think Anna Energy work good I think? Roger Callahan's had called the apex with the apex of sectors. Is that is that your release something so thoroughly that you almost don't even remember you have it or don't remember. You don't have have a release the memory. You really saw the energy so the memory is is not energetically compromise. Yeah so I had have a good friend WHO's therapist WAS chief retired. Neilan and so she she tells a story in our training. This client is woman came. Amen and I'm an old woman and she had a terrible fear of driving because she'd been in an auto accident and so I wanted to work. She'd been referred by her doctor. Whatever and so she won't work on that? So Pat were presented not just one session or several sessions and on until they did the tapping and may have done little. MDR because pepper ambulance service just well and so the woman went out shoots. She's not yeah. We'll say somebody To the office in Nineteen and a couple of weeks later she called made an appointment in Tad happened to be standing in her office looking out the window. She's waiting for this woman to come and you saw the woman drive and so we got on the car in. How are things going on? And the woman said she'd driven across in Michigan she driven across the street from Detroit to the other side of the state and visit her daughter-in-law Komo whatever and pass it. So Oh well we. We did a lot of tapping on that. Were just kind of an older rising and had said what do you attribute your being able to drive it because when you came in here before she's I'll be busy drivers getting better. But that's the apex correct. That's what happens. Is that the. The energy of it is no longer so bothersome. It's Kinda hard to even remember so it's hard to explain claim. Why even had it right right right especially when there's any shame about barest about having it? Yeah but it you God. It's embarrassing is it's it's interesting. How all the different aspects of something? I was in a car accident in June. And I'm always in a new car. It only had thirty miles on it and I was at a different time of day. I was leaving my office with more busy and I went. went to pull out of the party ready to pull out of a parking lot at A. UPS truck came and parked like here and try pooled for you just a little bit to try and see if it was clear to pull out and somebody Tibo. Oh my goodness and I was. I was only out aways. Insert seen the the her break tracks and she evidently she she poor to me instead of away. Okay so it was kind of a combination of sage and my car was almost totals and I ended up with a a partially collapsed lung. Bruises Down My side and I begged my head. Said there's I don't remember getting out of the car You know I don't remember. Remember the androids right. So there was something neurological Gordon Anyway. So they wanna give me pain pills and I said let me say off. I'll just take the bare minimum and I had lots of help so I- tapped tapped energy. Were and and on and the the lung healed on its own and I thought I included all out with a car is in the shop for a month. Does driving husband's car and I could pull out and look and I wasn't getting any accusation. It's a mini SUV. I get the issue back and I'm back in that saying coin out not the kind of day I'm leaning forward and I started getting at anxiety. I grew that wantage pige leaning forward deceit build across and looking out that I had not clear and so I- cleared it and you know it's fine the problem. Yeah I know sorry you were in an accident. I love that you were able to find what it was. Honor that trigger and release it. Yeah and I also discovered some interesting things that they had me on like Ibuprofen. It'd be profound and Tylenol and I normally don't shake medications like that because I know it makes me. I don't even take her medicine And I didn't WanNa take any said you need to take it so that you're on more he'll and so. I discovered that I had to cancel all my appointments appointments. Not because I was in pain but because I couldn't energy chest I couldn't. It was not in my energy field in to do my. We've I don't take any medications. I don't like the effect that any medication has on me. I just I never had someone say if I have a headache the Celtics Dickson tyres anonymous right now just heat up my rice bag and put it on my neck and there's other things you can do. You know what I mean and I know there's a place for what the other thing is you know I don't ask. Why did I have that accident a couple of days after my birthday? You know I mean it's like all right. I was not.

"Can lower your stress and be the master of your destiny. Thanks so much for coming on the show Suzanne. Thank you you for having me Andrea. I'm happy to share yeah yeah so how about yourself and how you got to be such an amazing contacting therapist. What is energy tapping. What's it all about might rate and it well. It's getting to be a little bit more of a popular term. Energy tapping is determined to use but you might know it as emotional freedom technique or maybe even faster. EFT or be set free fast or the tapping solution Lucien and they're all using the same energy body Energy Meridian system that was uncovered by the Chinese. You know five thousand years ago how I got involved with with it was that I had a lot of early developmental challenges that led me to grow up with a chronic anxiety issue. I became an emotional over eater and I just I didn't know how to feel safe in the world and that anxiety issue really led me to have a lot of excess weight on my body and never felt really comfortable and always always be social anxiety and I lived that way probably until mid twenties or South and at that point I really was like a really went on a quest for life to kind of look for what type of natural way I can help myself my mind and my body people to recover when I found some awesome tool I found hypnosis also I found neuro linguistic programming which is an L. P. For Short I found nervous system regulation therapy sound healing and then I found energy medicine and I worked with Donna Eden who now you know beats her Donna Eden method and really learned about the body and the body's energy system and got involved in tapping and with all of those tools. I just rattled off to you kind of combined into my own process. It really helped me able to shed the way you know get off the medication for anxiety and really learn to feel safe and comfortable in the world connected to myself and to have authentic connections with others so I m my first first client and I have been doing this probably for about fifteen years now and I'm just so passionate about what what has worked for me that it's been so natural all my body. I don't have to take a pill or potion or oil or anything like that. It's just something that you can do for yourself can help you in the moment and that was what was so important for me. Redefined was that I didn't need something outside of myself. I could go within does Kinda the journey of what I went through to discover these holistic approaches and then once they found them. I just became an evangelist for them wanted to share them with everybody because I love being able to help other people help themselves see see that's just what is so amazing is when there is such a need an idea of creation. A combination of methodologies are are are born out of this need because it causes us search for them and we're tired of being tired. We're tired of something happening to us and we're we know we need a change. We know we need to help ourselves. We know we need something shipped of consciousness a shift of behavior shift of energy like like you said for you to put all of that together from your own experience first of all brilliant and second to be able to put it together in a a program and a methodology and be able to teach it to other people so that they too can be successful in relieving stress and anxiety and and drama drama in their life by simple safe natural way combining many of those things and you'd mentioned many of them as a totality of of all those those so break it down for us and share how you do it and then perhaps we can even do a sample heping tapping practice since our listeners might learn a little bit right on the spot. Yup I would love to so energy tapping and I like to just just call energy tapping to keep it simple because like I mentioned there's so many different names out there. It's really just a self used acupressure technique that shifts our experience dress and we are literally using our fingers to tap on Energie points the body and when we do that it calms any alarming thought that we might be having any painful memories that we might still be trying to free living and it also helps to relax the body so there is some wheel you know neuro science it's behind it and the fact that when we think of thought that thought is communicated without using the body's energy which is within the nervous system of the body so yeah we are really using our brain to connect to our body and those messages are going back and forth by directionally and if we are living in the past asked from emotional habit so we still have like I said painful memories or any kind of distressing thoughts all of that can be calm down and settle settle down and be regulated into the body tilting the integrated in a new way that can bring you to place a piece so see. I was just GonNa ask you that you could you just sorta even answer my question question before. I asked the body's Energy Meridian points you know I was GonNa ask you. What is that what you just explained it that how the brain and the body's neurological system in central nervous system are connected so that when you tap press on them you self stimulate motor neurons in the body that let's send signals to soften and the ease up the pressure so that was something very very when I heard you the very first time which is immediately eighty five billion to know these Meridian so before we go any further about the tapping plane for the audience what the Meridians are are and how you know them and what they attached you and how tapping on them makes a change in the body explain and so you know we we are a physical body and we have an automatic nervous system and and our nervous system is the manager of our body and when we proceed any type of threat or stress our nervous system engages in active order to defend us in every way shape or form whether they thought distressing distressing or a physical experience dressing within that nervous system we have so many different body systems we have a cardiovascular system and endocrine system and a respiratory. Katori system and many more including an energy system and so we're tapping what we're doing for engaging that energy system to be able to to circulate relate and move that energy and the Energy Meridians run from our head to our feet and the flow through the organs in our body and they also run out to the extremity of arms and our fingertips to and if you could imagine kind of linear line from one side to another you drew a line. If you wanted to get that line to move you wouldn't poke poke at it in the middle you would tap on either end of that line in order to get the movement going and not this is why we use our fingertips to tap on specific energy point because tapping assessed moved using an endpoint talk directly engaged to another end point. I mentioned that all the Meridians as fourteen fourteen of them by the way they go through organs of the body so if we just a little crash course with you here if he just took two fingers either hand doesn't matter your index finger. Middle Finger and you grew you know if you agree I route together that would be the first part right there and just take your two fingers and tapping that point and that is the bladder already in bladder Meridian when it is blocked and is or over stimuli it is because of emotional trauma and then take those same two fingers tap on the side into the I wait by your temple and you can use both hands both sides just one five whatever you're comfortable with and the site of the I is the the Gallbladder Meridian and that represents internal conflict and anger and then tapping under the eye on the top of your cheekbones your bladder already. I'm sorry your stomach stomach Meridian and that represents anxiety. Do you want to cap on each one of these points a good five to ten times starting to stimulate the energy system to move and then take all four fingers of the same hand. Maybe your index Middle Ring Finger pinkie finger and start tapping on your collar bones. Your collarbone could've meet together. The top of you know at the bottom of your neck and just a nice bounce going. They're not the Kidney Meridian and that represents fear and then I like to it just take him literally doing this as you're describing it so I'm following along and listeners if you're here to listen and tackle long consists his really believe it or not so I'm feeling it. I'm feeling it yeah yes. WanNa be gone from the collarbone where we're going from our collarbone and then from our colored when I like to keep it simple. I just take one hand in squeeze. The opposite wrist a couple of times. Maybe get a good four or five squeezes on the opposite rest and the reason why we do that is because we have meridians that run down our arm out to our fingertips so we each have our fingers. Fingers is a different Meridian so you've got the thumb. The thumb is the Lung Meridian represents grief. The index finger is the is the large intestine that represents stubbornness the middle fingers the pericardium which is the sac around the heart that represents jealousy skip the ring finger pinky on the side of Thinki- is the heart Meridian represents shock and then on the side of your hand just below your pinky is the small intestine testing and that represents fear of new experience sort of tapping on every single things or maybe just tapping on the side of your hand. If that's where you're familiar with people have you you've seen tapping before. I just like to squeeze the whole risk just to go over them again. Between Your eyes side of the under the eye I on your collarbone grabby arrest get a good three four five pounds on each one and you WanNa make sure a little bit of pressure. You don't WanNa be too late. You want to really get that energy system moving and stimulated those meridians. That's what they mean and you know if you think oh I have anxiety eightyish just tap under my. I well sometimes when you have a bruise. You don't WanNa poke it. You WanNa just help the healing around it. So if you tap on all the points you're really getting the whole energy body circulate and that's what you want because it's going to find that blockages could've find that congestion because they find that bruising. That's going to bring some energy. Did you lie to it and help it integrate with the rest of the system and more balanced way. It's Kinda like acupuncture without the needles that stimulate relate the Meridian points in the body hope causes a vibrational energy in that point that reverberates through the central nervous system in clearing and moving the good way right absolutely absolutely it is it has been coined kind of emotional version of acupuncture before and and the reason what makes emotional is that if you went to an acupuncturist she might be complaining about something and they would just had you lie there and put needles in your body and you wouldn't wouldn't be having any dialogue about it. You would just be relaxing with needle. Some people don't like the needles some people also like to talk about their story of where they're stuck doc and where they've got stressing struggle and so you would ask before you know how is it that I do this work with my ace process and we really go to what we don't don't want because we know what it looks like. It sounds like it feels like a taste like we're we're expert what we don't want but what we do want not so not so so clear you know sometimes so really helping the energy shift away from what we don't want and be able to feel more common pieces going to bring a pathway wait opening for us to install and replace was intention and tapping helps do that verbally so when I work work with people they often come to me and say I want to stop having the type of relationship. I don't WanNa be in this job anymore. I don't WanNa live in this house anymore. I don't WanNa have this conflict anymore. I don't want to have the extra weight I don't WanNa be socially anxious news environment everyone's kind of different symptom of their stress and but they know it they're well. Oh it's it happens every Tuesday at four o'clock. It happens when you walk into a room. I get react to that. I don't like going there is a litany near the whole New York's your chromebook of all the things that are wrong they could rattle off as long as your arm yes but what they need to start talking about what they do want and how life can make them happy. So how do you switch that chronic thinking using your time being in all your other method allergies. Yeah we go through that process so like you mentioned before as the first step is awareness a for awareness and that really is you know who what and who gets you triggered what is going on around you and what is. Is it a pattern or not. Is it something a one time only thing that was intense or is it something that's been happening in your life and once you have an awareness of some of the stresses in your life you can we can take that as tapping material to be able to take that story and literally clear from your nervous system clear it from any kind of alarm that would be going on in your brain clear it some any thoughts that have been distressing..

"What you do is you keeping the blood in the fore brain. So when you go into a stress response, what happened is a blood leaves the four rain goes into the limbs. So that you can fight or you can flee, but we don't. Generally need to do that. When we go into a stress response because we rarely physically fight or run away from something. Most of what we need to do to resolve issues is to think creatively and intelligently. And by putting your hand on your forehead. That's just what you're doing. You're keeping the blood in your brain. So that you can think creatively. Think intelligently and -absolutely is an innate inherent wisdom of the body that we do that naturally. We do that naturally. We'll put our hand of powdered chest. If if we're feeling sad or or shocked about something. There's all of these things that we do that. Are that are natural that are that are ever Lucien because energy medicine was the first medicine that there was and the reason that will be survived to this day is because we had a real deep connection to how to help ourselves. How to heal ourselves way before there were hospitals or clinics aspirin or surge? Surgeries or any of that? We didn't know how to do these things. And so a lot of these techniques are very intuitive and very very natural. And they really evolved from as we evolved. I know the answer to this question. But I want to ask anyway. And make sure I hear you answer it because you've had some people make comments with other guests that we've had that have offered what we considered to be alternate healing options. But I'm assuming that you do not recommend anyone news a method like this instead of working with the physician. Absolutely. And of course, you know, as you said, there's a caveat in the book, and all of that sort of thing if you're working with a healthcare provider, the hope is that they will be interested enough in this, and they'll look into it with you and see if it's appropriate for you. And you know, it's in the context of a yoga practice, and to some degree self-diagnosis certainly reporting on on things, and there's a whole section on how to test your energy, which is really fascinating as well. And things are good or not good for you. But there's also resources to find a practitioner that you can work with one on one. If things are if you if you really dealing with something serious, and then an absolutely you don't wanna do anything. That's that's gonna compromise. If you're a challenging situation. So you definitely want your your doctor your health provider to sign off on on whatever alternative things that you're doing now. I want to ask about a couple of things in the book on there's a chart in here. It's it's it's table one in the book, it says five elements body elements and you reference water wood fire earth metal got a whole bunch of things like swollen abdomen abdominal pain. And then you have little check boxes under things like water woodfire. What explain this charge me because it's complete. Yeah. So that's theory that this book is based on the five element theory. And it's part of Chinese medicine as we said earlier five thousand year old healing tradition and everything in the universe in this theory falls into the season the physical elements of the earth itself, your physical body, all of your organs, all of your emotional. You know, part of pieces on thoughts and this stages of your life your personality, it's a comprehensive system. And it's it's incredibly powerful. But it's also it's comprehensive and also simple because everything is one of five things. So if you have something long going wrong with you right now a doozy. Use pattern or some kind of illness or something it also is in one of these five elements, and so with these charts and a physical one in on on emotional one or a psychic wanna you find what area you are out of balance in and then you would go to that practice to bring that element into balance, which would then help to resolve the physical or the emotional issue that that you that you that you're working with right now does that make sense? Absolutely does. So if someone was to pick up the book is it just a started to beginning and read through or is there another way that they should manage reading. 'cause there's a ton of not just information. But you know, you've you've got those are pictures of you actually in certain poses in describing how to do certain techniques. It's very very complete. So is it a start front back kind of read or new access sections that you think you need, you know, I think it really depends. You know, where you are in your if you have a yoga practice already you've got some familiarity with this versus if you if you've never practiced before you might be more inclined to sort of start at the beginning and go through there's also an hour worth of embedded video in the book. And so some of the practices that might be more difficult to read you can actually watch me doing the practices. There's a full thirty minute practice. That is the essential kind of daily grooming for your energy and. That's on video as well. But you also can just really flip through the book and see what jumps out at you. I always think that's a really valuable technique to use in some of these healing guide because there is a underlying energy if you will right. So they will might guy you to something that you need that you might not have noticed and just diving into those charts is also really fun might be an interesting way to start even if you're not suffering or struggling with something right now to sort of go through and give yourself a time a time line or time capsule of what has gone on in your life. So what areas what elements have have you struggled with more what areas of your life have been more out of balance, and there's a quiz to find out. What element you are sort of? It's not quite like a strategy. But it is in that each of us has an element, that's are predominant element. And it's it's, you know, considered the oldest personality system on the planet. And so you can really. Find out what makes you taking what makes other people tick? And so there's you know, there's so many ways to to work with it. I think just having it and and flipping around in it and just playing with it some of the practices, and and seeing I really advocate keeping a journal yourself. He what works and what you like what you don't like. And and then creating again, the Rx the prescription for you. So that this program works exactly how you need it to be considered an advanced form of yoga or beginner form of yogurt somewhere in between. The beauty of this work is that you can do it wherever you are in the ova practice. So you know, all of these techniques are woven into traditional yoga poses. And so if you've never done a yoga pose before and you find one of these poses that you do. That's great. You get to jump right into the energy medicine yoga version. But if you've already been practicing yoga for years, you can weave this in wherever you are whether you're beginner advanced master teacher, you can use these techniques because they're really applicable to any kind of yoga. So it's really for every level of yoga practitioner. Do other things about a new. I don't know it's new or not, but it's new to where I am aerial yoga. There's some kind of hamic ton of thing. Involve other props involved with this. Not the hammock. Although I definitely taken some of those classes, and I'm always just doing my own AM yoga thing in in a regular yoga class and doing AM yoga, and the hammocks is great. Because a lot of it is really long hold your disappointed by this beautiful material. You can kind of it's it's just a lovely experience. But you don't need any props other than you would ordinarily use any yoga class. And you know, I do yoga a lot outside on just a blanket or a sheet or towels or something so I don't even use yoga mat most of the time. But that's all you would need any props that you ordinarily use for yoga amount of blanket a block, some people use a strap it's really adoptive to you to your needs. And if you have never practice yoga before then you'll just start with us on page one and work through and and by the end, you'll you'll have a practice for yourself. And it'll be really beautiful when people start yoga should they expect to be sore. I mean, you know, obviously, there's a good fuelling soreness after you've worked out. It's there's a feeling of accomplishment that plus, you know, it's doing some good in some fashion should people expect that when they start doing something like this. No. And sometimes he has generally no because in the best in creation of yoga. I mean, it's not an aerobic workout those kind of yoga practices are not really giving you the energetic transformation that you should be getting a yoga class. So you're getting a workout, but you're not necessarily getting the the energy work that you're looking for. So you shouldn't be sore in way, but we talked earlier about moving lymph thought of the body and working on those neural reflex point, and those are excruciatingly sore when you massage them because of course, they're triggering detox in the body and the more toxic. You are the more painful, those points will be and then once you start to massage those and we caution or sort of say, you know, don't do too many at once just start slowly because you can trigger a healing curve. And a kind of just feeling nauseous and maybe headache as you detox. In the body. And so with any kind of detox practice, you really want to take it slow and drink lots of liquids and take a hot bath salts. And, but that's really the only place that you're gonna feel any soreness, you know, one of the rules of energy in the in the physical body is nothing in your body should hurt ever. I say that people in their shocked because everyone has so much pain that they're carrying around. If you have pain in your body that is not only energy that is stuck dot is the definition of pain in the body. But it's also it's giving you information, and so to just continue on in your life pain, that them becomes chronic pain that then you're dealing with in simply a pain management level. You you gone way farther than what that information is trying to tell you so nothing nothing nothing ever in the physical body should hurt. And if it does you've got to find out what's going on and resolve that again, so that energy can flow the energy can move the body can heal. So long answer. No, you shouldn't do after. I feel I woke up a flight of steps anymore. Then you need to start doing right away. You're right. I know you've got some events and stuff coming up to what's happening in your future here. So coming right up, actually, my teacher, Donna Eden, and I did a produce, of course, with yoga journal, and that'll be released within the next month or so, and you can find out about that on the website will have a landing page for that. And then I've got a couple of teacher trainings coming up if you study yoga, deeply, and you wanna take an immersion or your yoga teacher, and you wanna learn how to teach this. I've got a couple of those coming up and to really beautiful retreats this summer one on the east coast in New York at the omega institute in June and a week long in Montana actually at the feathered pipe ranch in August. So lots of fun stuff on the agenda, and where can people get a hold of this book that we've been talking about all night? I always encourage you to go your local bookseller and ask them to carry it, and certainly anyplace order books online. I like to order from Powell's you can go right to the publisher sounds true dot com. But anywhere you order books..

"There are new in awesome yeah winningest winning cuba the uh you know i a a in the the example you gave not having to touch the breast to heal the breast and the same with neck are you familiar with touch for health yeah okay i'll i found a c one of my passions is collecting all you'll get a collect all books and the old you know things things from before health became so commoditised this and so i found the book on touch for health from nineteen seventy three and i was actually reading through it in the past week and a love the the explanation that it gives because i've taken some classes with donna eden in some of her proteges and end but she never explained to quite this way because it's the same exact stuff that that he's doing in this this book but he said you know take a like a uh a swinging door like one of those restaurant doors right in of the kitchen and let's say the spring on one side gets stretched out and it's too weak to hold the door in place so it will look like the the spring on the other side is strong because it will pull to the side that has the the good spring and you know it that doesn't mean that it's stronger it just means that the other ones week so work on strengthening the week part and the pain or you know in this case the the um the that socalled strong spray well will allow the door to go back to centre.
