"When I started doing photography daily, I wanted to try and keep the show a little different to another title that I- I present with some of you will be aware of the the food you cast with my very good friends, an excellent photographer, Kevin mullins virtue of the fact that I was co presenting it with Kevin I wanted to try and have a difference on. This show which meant the well emails drive that show and I didn't want them to necessarily drive this one though straight away I was getting feedback on the episodes at first by email and now on my facebook to thank you very much appreciated. Really they are. So I thought well, why not? Let's let's make a feature of one of the shows mainly perhaps this one. So. If you want to send in an email feedback to anything you here in the episodes, then the email address to send to is studio art photography, daily Dot Show of course, you can send in on the website, the the contact form as well. You know considering this track is named after talk the alter the fictional character in a book. That is supposed to be a I would imagine a lot of voters here, but I haven't seen one yet and I'll have looked. I can however see the the beam aqueduct across the way here that the canal bridge, which which I'll make a picture of. And I'll put this on the show page for today this where Talker was born while the fictional. Fictional author character talk anyway. Let's get back to your mouse. Before we get to sixty mouse in the moment. Yes. Just to remind this is your first condition. It's a chance to take a Friday walk together make some pictures and just what else photographer's light to do from time to time just walk in shoot without any particular agenda. and Yes to read some of the messages and males than you leave all him with the more that in a short. While since you mentioned the Beam Akwa Dot, it's a magnificent piece of Victorian engineering the grade two listed bridge the grading system in the UK means he can't alter to remove or change this historically important and protected structure without applying for special permission from the local planning of his oral authority whose job is to say what essentially? No, some say previous Dacoven. The planning offices were specially trained to say, no to everything in anything and the Yes was a word rarely known to pass their lips a news story of late though suggests that during these times of pandemic. Planning regulations are going to be much relaxed to help build our out of recession. But if you're a listed building or structure, it's still unlikely. You'll be able to do anything other than conserve. So don't expect the bridge to become a drive through fast food joint in the near future. The bridge was originally in Akwa ducks which carried Lord Raleigh's canal across the River Torridge it has five arches and is approximately two hundred seventy feet long and twenty two feet wide. I was desperate to reveal the Lord Raleigh was in fact the famous name behind the Raleigh. Flex. Camera. But it's not April I and we both know it was a German camera invention from nineteen twenty eight. Had it been the April first edition but certainly had tried to get away with that on facts checked fact. I've often said I'd like to live in the West country. I met not. So long back catchier I make up artists who said she just traveled to To London to do weddings and the rest of the time she spent. Her Life Surfing the new home with her partner moved essentially from London to call more they surf during the week, and she goes and makes up people for weddings at the weekend and then goes back again. Glorious Ortho a fabulous life Conham Smith. Hello. My name is Callum I've only recently started listening to your your Poe cast really enjoying it so far. Thank you. Callum flattery will get you everywhere especially, enjoy the the focus episodes. So you're talking about the longer ones on. that we have on the Saturdays listening about how knowledge over gear is more important and I I agree you spoke about reading books being a good way to learn as well as my guests really spoken about that I was interested to hear some of your favorite books now, and if there are any that, you would recommend to begin my journey through photography. Born exciting time your journey Rhonda the start. Yeah. There are some books they change very often for me my my very good friend Kevin Kevin Mullins who are present. Jackass, with he brings in a book, each week and he's introduced me books all the time I didn't know existed. But yeah, I have a a small modest library compared to his one of my favorites I always mentioned this to. Two people is is Robin Bells silver footprint. It's a square format book. must have been imprint still imprint for a long time. Now just beautifully designed my own book that I I use when I'm selling books. is is pretty much based on on Robin Bells book the way that the text and the the photographs are laid out but robin has been a printer to. Suggest is. Royalty. In photographic terms. photographers such as nil took well made many many famous picked I. Remember Him for the the Brigitte Bardot Pictures I was a massive Brigitte Bardot Fan. Also he's printed Lee Miller's work embarrassed were. Terence. Donovan's Donna pictures just I mean if you if you look through the Book Bailey pictures as well. If you look through Robbins Book, you'll say Printed for his printing work is exquisite his knowledge. Is Outstanding, as you would expect for a printer were with photographers of that stature and a have actually approached Robin. and. He has I. Think said Yes. he said it was so hot at the moment in the UK which it has been of late that he found it very difficult to think the moment and that he doesn't do a lot of of printing these days. He's probably earned his retirement I would say, but there are so many stories I'm sure rubbing recount. So I'll obviously he did say get back to me and I'll obviously be following that up and Robin Bell will be on the show and I can't wait for you to to listen to him talk other books.

"Most exciting and if they will win a different way there one with Ricky Williams than any other coach he did it with a greater opportunity that we got a felon a went and for them they hold hold grudges like there Jesus lord have mercy I'm with you gene I don't get the garage then like you like Jonathan of a grudge he just doesn't stand over the tops of but the yeah the anti grudge things like once the eagles won the Superbowl the any grudge thing that just became like what we've said is over the long haul things over no even if I had not thought of it's like a two thousand two was the hardest laws in Philadelphia for me to strip while I was at the game it was the final game with that it just felt like that that that was it I like everything fell into place and then they lost that game right and that was that was tough that was a tough game to get over and then they lose in two thousand three to get back in two thousand four they lose in the Superbowl but that that was less about Andy just more about the disappointment of the team the other was never at there was never a grudge about Andy I was always honest with what I thought and he was and he was very good at building a foundation and he was very good at more or less being up until game day probably one of the best coaches in the league but then on game day against the better coordinators in the better head coaches in a lot of those big games he struggled came up small and you know what he did the same thing again the city for a number you did the one I I think we might become clear as time goes on he look with the you mention the Carolina want to Tampa one but other than those games most of the big games and is lost in his car he hasn't had the better quarterback Warner was better than Donovan Brady better than Donovan Warner again in a way better than Donovan when Alex Smith the weather was Ben Roethlisberger or two or whatever they were playing the plants Andrew luck he did have the better quarterback he did have the talent in it now is the better quarterback does so like I wonder if it's just going to change I want to put some of that simple do you have the best quarterback in the game if you most the time you win with that guy should have the best quarterback a lot of those games you lost so Jack here's a question right and I I young was needed to do this before he's in the Superbowl because now are already know how the the polls gonna go because people don't like Donovan this town right but what was that what were the big losses more about was it more about eighty was it more about Donovan Donna was it more about Donovan's play or was it more about well I mean I listen I'll tell you I'll tell you that in a couple of those games Kay Tampa Bay in fact that was the bad game plan by by anti coming out we try to try to throw the ball too much by the office live eagles I know was furious on the sidelines one the run ball run the ball run the ball and they did do you think this is ought people here's what's going to happen now it's all gonna go on on Donovan Donna was the reason why they don't win a Superbowl and eighty you have anything to do with it right I think that's how it's gonna end up looking twenty six to forty nine forty nine attempts Donovan necking yep and I am not in that was in there there's a low scoring game yeah you don't throw the ball forty nine times often two thousand two now it's a little more calm place but still forty nine to than to was a lot of throws on Twitter marsh St W. I. P. the real teatime says I could care less after watching the chief some were mad at how we in the senior students at senior citizen roster put together for cars and honestly people are watching the game not happy for any but mad about that yeah I I was I was doing that yesterday I was watching the the speed on that team and thinking man the eagles don't have any of that not even close not even close I think the speed the chiefs have it's it's just it's overwhelming thank you you can if they get around the clock when Tyree kill one around the corner for the test and it was like a perfectly executed soon as you turn the corner just a touch down yeah that's why I don't think it's it's fair to just label like and he's got the quarterback he's eighty proof I get what people are saying that and I agree with a lot of that but the execution on this team with the players that they have is tremendous that was just perfect I was just perfectly executed Tyree kill the the end commits too much he tries to get ME can't perfectly blocked right in there it was it that they they have multiple running backs the some quote was even active yesterday don't know he's not even a big part of it anymore yeah yeah not all really mean the act that the quarterback he has the the tight end he has been there they're loaded on offense it is one of the great office usable time really yeah I mean I I do remember that way I mean he has the great quarterback is a grub maybe hall of fame tight end and entirely kill I mean I I am I like that guy but he's an amazing to my amazing player no it's I believe I and and really the turning point in the game was before half for the score the touchdown and the Tennessee unfortunately can't convert first downs back gives it back they bang again and then they have the ball coming out after happy when they when they gave the ball back right to him right away as like well this is now this is trouble and has to be the play was seventy seven right and they score they went down and scored in two minutes it's like you you the times held off for half the quarter the homes in and they get the ball back it's two minutes touchdown seventeen fourteen it's like a how do you beat them you can yeah it's a problem you you what your but you could have I I'd Tennessee showed it with was it like a nine or ten minute drive the help of the whole whole the whole second court yep and then they still scored two touchdowns she's like like that Baghdad has three so the plating unbelievable here's here's how I'll remember and the the any reader in Philadelphia and it's always going to be with Donovan right I mean do we really look AT read with Michael Vick or with Kevin cop for a couple games and eight hours or ten minute now it it you're always gonna look at it with Donovan I think it was like they they always to me they always were like one in the same they were like peanut butter and jelly right because you would get Donovan this look it over to the to the to the sideline be like should we call time out here in eighties looking over to Donna McNab saying should we call time out here they were very much similar to me where they were not very quick on their feet during a game situation so as much as everybody would say it was Donovan's fault that they didn't have more success as far as energy championship games I'll tell you it's just as much eighty read fall as it is not in the McNab fault in those games maybe a little bit more dot Donovan but it's pretty close it's gonna cleo any aiding cleo Hey are you don't we got there first of all are ya email Jean day you a list you guys all the time give me give me a moment I give me give me some time because I got to get this out all right and then comment whatever just don't hang up but the old man I'm ecstatic right handy okay now as I don't know what was one of you just mentioned well folks need to be focused on is when I watch the game yesterday all I'm thinking about is what kind of whole roster we have a Philadelphia because we don't need to compete where we don't even compete so a lot of this is on how okay but getting back to eighty three you know I'm speaking in generalities this is that every Philadelphia playing bye bye a lot of hate a race the main man there's a lot I may look at may eighteenth the franchise relevant in my opinion he aimed directly responsible for us winning at sit because because he he he helped bring as was mentioned he was not hot hello weight when he came here not all we recommend to worry about dog breeders it we should not ban with the help of a coach only one Superbowl but what we need all right okay is that we got an old roster and we don't compete it's amazing it we've become old but we have hello we got a running back we got a running we got a good running game we need to stomp to get to bring some bona fide office alignment replace lost to go we got to do some bona fide office alignment so that we can get it there was a run the running game again and we got to build a decent because it's been proven what brand if you have a running game you spread you can call the ball eight times in a hold very Superbowl dot we need to be focused on okay I'm ecstatic hope you win I'm gonna be rooting for you we'll call it god we can handle raised in may I mean I mean okay I he said I've heard nothing but people I'm I'm not I'm talking about in general I'm talking about do you want to yesterday's game I'm talking about all of the station I'm not all of the state some segment right yeah it it yeah I mean come morning you know we lost the Markley appears at a gas there yeah we got some haters I mean he's right about a lot of that yeah but I mean they mean listen why what is we we're we're talking about we're we're talking about any read like you went to the to the Cleveland Browns the Cincinnati Bengals any rescue them from the abyss and turned in turn this into into this golden franchise and then it wasn't far off than the men the eagles stunk they they won a playoff game in nineteen ninety five yes they won a playoff game a few years before that with Randall Cunningham they were in the playoffs they were a perennial playoff team years before that even without winning a game in the eighties where they weren't very good at all right and the seventies well this in the seventies they were bad they were at the real came in here and then in the sixties I mean you're talking about three and did you talk about the prehistoric times when you go prior to nice short but that's part of it like he received he did resurrect them they were garbage I would make a case he's the hiring in the reed is the most important thing the eagles have done in forty years change the franchise as the car just mention the old Doug Peterson is is here partially because anti whether it's a hundred percent of five or ten it's some somewhere like a percentage of of Doug Peterson success it was a great hired by Jeffrey Laurie yes and it would happen and if any man say here he was a quarterbacks coach she was never coordinator yet this big binder with everything laid out plans training camp practice great highs and everything else seem right higher grade higher right absolutely great higher Mike Zimmer of Minnesota has been a great hire for for the Vikings yeah but not close to a month but my point is that he took a franchise that wasn't a great franchise but a franchise that have had a little bit of success here in there right and he was in NFC championship game in they lost right he's been in the playoffs likable yeah he's been in a play off a couple of times because I mean he's a good.

"Hello thank you for joining the American Revolution Today. Episode one twenty four back across the Delaware so last week as the battle of Trenton came to an end by mid morning on December. Twenty six seventeen seventy six. The Americans held the town and the few remaining meaning enemy soldiers scattered amazingly the American suffered no combat deaths and only five wounded however several men later died I from the horrific march through the storm the night before there are several accounts of deaths later that night and in the following day's from exhaustion exposure Asia and hypothermia despite the victory Washington could not simply sit back and enjoy the moment there were still thousands of Haitians under Colonel Uh-huh Car-o-van done up to his South in Mount Holly along with more Hessian and British regiments to his north in Princeton around four or five hundred Hutchins at Trenton had escaped along with many Hessian women and children camp followers most of these endured a ten mile forced march to Princeton. Of course as word reached these other regiments. There was always a chance of counterattack. Washington deployed some companies to March north or South looking for Haitians who had fled the field of battle. They also searched buildings in town looking for enemies. Still Hiding General Washington along with General Greene visited the dying Hessian commander Colonel Role at the Methodist Church after his death colonel raw would take the primary Mary blame for the days loss. British leader's noted his failure to build defensive entrenchments around town or to send out sufficient patrols to detect the Hetemi as they crossed the river. But of course hindsight is twenty twenty most of the other outpost commanders had behaved similarly to roll before the attack as Carl role lay dying. The continentals collected prisoners and secured the town. The dead were looted of anything of value. The capture capture of clothing equipment and cannons all added to the American victory. The Hessian prisoners had been told to expect to be killed if they were captured. The frightened prisoners were relieved to be treated reasonably well somehow equipment taken from them such as their knapsacks the Hessian brass helmets limits were also highly prized by the victors. The hashes will be marched back to the river and transported on the same boats. Used by the continentals at McKie's and Johnson's ferry where they were moved to Pennsylvania out earlier in the day a few of the Hash and equipment were actually crossed at the closer sir. Trenton ferry. That's where General Ewing had been unable to cross the night before but some of the same problems that prevented general ewing from crossing continued into the next day and as whether conditioned worsened a little again. The continentals marched most of the prisoners. Back to McCarthy's and Johnson's since vary where they still had those larcher Durham boats for transportation once in Pennsylvania. The prisoners spent a few days with the army Washington. Ten then move them to Philadelphia where he ordered. The officers separated from the men. Both were treated reasonably well but he wanted the enlisted men to be taught about the ideals of liberty so that if returned these ideals might spread through the Hessian ranks eventually the prisoners would be transported to through the western part of Pennsylvania Maryland and Virginia. There many of them lived on parole among German speaking colonists most of them were able to who live and work in the communities will certain restrictions on how far they can travel and with nightly curfews. Many of the soldiers enjoyed their new condition so much coach that they opted to stay in America after the war there were forty eight wounded Hessian officers and men including the injured commander Colonel Role received parole. This meant that they were left in Trenton under the promise that they would not take up arms again and less exchanged for American prisoners. However the reality was most of these wounded were so severely wounded that they would not arrive a trip back to Pennsylvania would almost certainly kill them? Colonel Role as I said died that evening but one young lieutenant with a spinal injury remained in Trenton convalescing for several months Washington conferred with his generals about whether they should continue their attack by taking the fight to Princeton or Mt Holly or whether it would be better to take the win and simply retreat back to Pennsylvania before the enemy could counterattack. Washington's initial plan had been to meet up with the forces under Colonel John Cadwalader and General James Ewing who they said were supposed to have crossed further down river the same night that Washington Cross and they were to attack the three thousand British and Hessian soldiers at Mt Holly but since neither of those crossings had been successful Washington found himself on his own the Americans of course course were exhausted many were suffering from hypothermia and frostbite as well the weather was also still a mix of snow and freezing rain the made any movement on the roads miserable and would likely increase the deaths related to hypothermia. It did not help that. The soldiers had also so discovered several barrels of rum in town and many of them got roaring drunk before the officers discovered what they had done. The American still had the nine eight hundred Hessian prisoners to control as well at least part of the army would have to remove the prisoners to Pennsylvania. Even if the rest decided to engage the enemy the at another location or stayed in Trenton to await a counterattack. If the continentals moved against the enemy at Mt Holly they would be attacking a force. Yes that was larger than they were the force in Mount. Holly was probably about twice as large as the Trenton garrison and also the attackers would no longer have the element of of surprise in the end. Washington decided to take their prisoners and captured booty and pull everyone back to Pennsylvania. The army spent the rest of the day at another sleepless night. Attempting to recross the Delaware River. The snow had turned back to rain during the day making travel on the roads into a muddy mess later in the day everything began to refrees making the wet soldiers even more miserable despite the continuing problems with ice the river the army spent much of the evening and night moving everything back to Pennsylvania many officers and men had been up for three straight eight days and nights running on little more than adrenaline as I said many suffered from frostbite hypothermia and other illnesses brought on as the result of being cold wet Hungary and sleep deprived. The river was even icier than the night before and the army as I said had to move the nine hundred prisoners as well as six additional cannon and numerous captured horses and other equipment in addition to everything they had brought over the first time. Many soldiers reported tried hi to walk across the ice to reach the boats only to have it break and have them fall into the river. There were no reports of drowning. But of course getting getting soaking wet in freezing water could have very real consequences for your health even so the men were booed by their win and this was the most hard the core of the larger army that had been dwindling down over the prior few months then is one example during the battle a gun carriage. I mentioned had broken meeting that the Canon no longer had wheels and could not be moved general. Knox had ordered the guns spiked and abandoned as part of their retreat. One one sergeant refuse to do so he got four other soldiers to help him drag the Canon as deadweight across the ground for miles back to the river. The cannon was probably like two thousand pounds dragging the weapon was slow going so slow that even the rearguard past them General Knox locks once again wrote up and told them to abandon the gun and get to the river at one point. The team thought a party of British light horse was approaching them although it turned doubt fortunately for them to be a group of quakers they eventually got the gun to the river and into a boat General Knox wrote up and ask them where the Scud had come from from when the men told him it was the one he had ordered abandoned at Trenton he prays the men for their initiative in bringing back anyway at great risk to themselves. So these are the kind of self motivated enthusiastic. Hardworking men were talking about with great effort by the morning of December twenty seventh the day after after the battle. The bulk of the army equipment and prisoners were all safely back in Pennsylvania on the twenty seventh general Washington had lunch with some of the captured Hessian officers. They discussed the battle and what the Hashes had done wrong. By all accounts it was a polite cordial and friendly meeting between professional officers. General Washington even granted Hessian Lieutenant Witter Halt Parole to return to Trenton and collect some personal property that he had left behind winner. Holt returned to Trenton collected his items and then return to the American lines to begin his imprisonment. Such was the level of trust and honor between officers Washington however was not quite ready to declare victory and settled into winter quarters on the afternoon of the twenty seventh. He held another council of war to discuss the possibility of future operations to follow up on their success. US As the council met a courier arrived with news remember Colonel Cadwalader who was supposed to cross the Delaware the same night as Washington Washington but further down river. Well he had failed to cross that night or the next day but on the morning of the twenty seventh his men mostly Pennsylvania Slovenia associated which are local militia had managed to get eighteen hundred men across the river and were near Burlington New Jersey. They had gotten word. That Washington had reached Trenton. And were all the more motivated to participate in the attack and join him by the time they learned that afternoon that Washington forces had retreated back to Pennsylvania. They decided after some debate to proceed forward anyway so while Washington was retreating another army he was advancing with communication delays leading to all this confusion out the associated who are now a New Jersey. It turned out that Vandana was so shaken when he got news of Trenton that he immediately retreated north toward Princeton even abandoned some of his own sick and wounded to speed up the retreat but according to at least one source did not abandon the hundred and fifty wagons full of plunder under that. And I went to this was a Cinderella Rela Story. He was like peeking her up from just being this nobody and elevating her to be the Queen of Hollywood. Stratton is with us this morning the morning. Dorothy thought let Peter Bogdanovich maker into what Paul couldn't make her into the middle of another movie right. Now that I'm I'm shooting in New York are they all laughed with Peter Bogdanovich his directing Audrey Hepburn and Bengals ours starring talking Darnall. Good good. She had a kind of glow wishy talk wishing when she moved to the laughs I remember driving her to the airport to start filming and she was very excited in the New York City to shoot new caudine thanks. Peter wanted to make love story in New York about how falling. I'd love to be a mistake. The John Ritter character in the movie is kind of Monologue Bogdonovich and he casts Dorothy Stratton as the sort of the object of his desire fire. Being what inspired the picture and I think that hasn't hasn't feeling goes of being in love with I'm very well thank you. How are you sparkle to it? They all laughed was absolutely Liam movie about Peter Very autobiographical. She and Ritter have dialogue where he goes. Will you marry me she goes yes as soon. Is My divorce through. I think the minute Dorothy got interested. I didn't Peter Hall. Felt like he got left behind like he got shafted for Paul. Losing Dorothy to Peter Bogdanovich was was like the ultimate insult because Peter in his own way was a much bigger Paul he discovered a star. Just like when when Paul found Dorothy in the dairy queen she was nothing when a person knows their inadequate and they can feel that inside but they won't say anything they'll try and put up a front. "Dana show, starry not sorry. Sorry, the shows that I turned down Motors speak to, you would be very impressed with yourself date that I could use in live around the world, are you a citizen or are you a subject because I'm a citizen and I'll ask whatever question I want to win ever. I wanted if you're subject, you go on and Euboea subject on the citizen Dana show talking about closing the gun show loophole. What about the internet, the internet? What about banning I would support that because you haven't always voted that way didn't vote that way, once, because it was an old soul weapons ban that I thought was overly drawn and allowed the manufacturers to avoid the ban, but I certainly would support one. So this is Bill Bennett. I forgot who the hell he is for split-second because there's eleven thousand people. When there's eleven thousand people that are involved in, in this race Colorado. Welcome back to the show at dealers on Twitter, official Facebook now go he is really. Like I'm trying to figure out what the internet loophole is. Internet loophole. There's no internet loop hole, there isn't. Right. I mean just none violation of law. It's actual breaking the laws that what they're saying because that's what happens. Yeah. It's not a loophole. Michael Bennett Bill Bennett, by the way, Michael Bennett is he's from Colorado, he's a Senator. And so I guess he's also running for president. I totally forgot. And I by the way, when I went and looked at the transcript transcript transcript for Dana bash when she introduced him all of his accomplishments, were, what is grandpa did, and his dad, his dad was in the Carter and Clinton administration is grandpa, an adviser to FDR. It's just like he did those things, but not who. And then she asked him. And you you know what would you didn't? He says. Yeah, what I the internet loophole gun. The, the Bill that loopholes. What did he say play again? What did you say? I just remember the internet loophole closing the gun show, loophole. What about in the internet, the internet? What about banning assault weapons, I would support that because it worked so, well, not really before the point where where Harry Reid actually didn't even bring it back on the floor and twenty fourteen he wouldn't even take it out of committee. The internet loophole. Michael Bennett doesn't know how to buy guns. He Michael Bennet from Colorado thinks that if you go on the web, or nets. I'll pretend I Michael Bennett. This is how he thinks the world works. Let's go see if I can buy some guns on the web or nuts. Let's, let's type in by some guns. And my browser after the first couple of unsuccessful attempts, I was typing it into the dialog box on Facebook. I finally realized where my browser was. I have that ab-. So glad we have that boomer assist the little paper clip that hops around the corner of the screen so type some guns into the browser. Oh, it went to buy some gone. Stark com have them shipwrecked to your house. The government won't know let's buy a bunch of guns, but let's via Levin guns right now. That's how he thinks that works. He thinks that you can just buy gun online and a drone that is also armed actually eagle that an armed eagle will fight your house. What if that's what they do? And drop the gun off at your door like a stork would drop a baby. And then you have guns, total, because I want to try it, the internet, loophole the internet loopholes a magical place. No, he just says a bunch of stuff that's like not even there. Let's it's it's like a jeopardy category for things that don't exist. All have the gun show loophole in the internet loophole. Why not just go ahead and say you're going to ban red matter from Star Trek on top of it? We also need to do something about the photon torpedo with the photon torpedo loophole. We got van that we have the time space continuum loophole. We did a band that made you can go back in time a bygones and then bring it back here and there band. But you have bought the guns down. Gosh, there Michael Bennett thinking everything. All of the so many loopholes, my gosh. It's crazy. Yeah. He I'm not really sure that I want someone in charge, a government that doesn't know what the hell's going on. You know what I'm saying for speeding above the speed limit? And I don't get caught that I find the loophole. You know, that's still a criminal act. Is it? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. No, they like to say criminal acts, only as it relates to guns are loopholes. Well, I know that person's a criminal, and they're not allowed to have a gun because federal law says that they're not. But if they get it out the black market, that's a loophole damn you love gone owners. Oh. I want to open up a gun store. Call it internet loophole. I'm not even kidding you swear to I tried Mark, I'm going to open it, and call it internet loophole. But to be ironic. I'm not going to have a website. Oh, oh my gosh. I just but that's that's how they think though. That's how they think they, they think that I don't know. I just. And then the gun show loophole. I love these people that are like you go by garnet. I've gone so. Yeah. Snowpack round checks. Actually, that's not true. Have you ever bought a gun show? The only time that you can by gun at a gun show with no background checks. If you have no offense to anybody, you have some old Geezer, whose, like this is my Grandpa's civil war rifle. And he's selling the one thing that he's got because you're going to go and use that new crime. I mean, you know, there's this scores gang bangers that they're using historical artifacts and crimes that's you don't hear that because it doesn't happen. So there goes your argument. It's very strictly regulated people who actually know about guns and purchase said guns know these things. What? I'm just, you know, by the way, fulfils ship, the sell at gun shows, so it's like it's. Yeah, there's no loophole. But like you said, if you do something that's against the law. That's not a loophole. So if Joe blow got his license suspended for DUI and he goes out and illegally drives a car. Guess what? Not a loophole. It's called a criminal act. It's amazing. Now, speaking of the to a situation, I saw this story about this lady who was suspended from college. She is in Florida. She's Saint Augustine. She goes to first coast technical college. And she was suspended indefinitely over a photo of her and her fiance at the gun range posing with guns, Diomine Dallas is now suing the Saint Augustine school, the principal, and assistant principal. She said, everything has gone down the drain. I was making as I was really trying hard in school. So what happens is her fiancee's cousin? Who's a veteran took his family to the range and was showing improper, you know, showing them how to use firearms. So they, they posted a photo on. So she posted a photo on sold on social media are no sorry. Her fiance, Anfernee Royster posted the photo on Facebook with the caption. She's my body, and I am her client now. There's two things going on here. First off the photo that they posted is completely not how you should practice gun safety because you treat every gun as it's loaded and you don't point a gun at the person taking the picture of you. She was like, crouching down pointing the gun at the camera and he was there. I can't to the pictures too small. So I can't tell if he was practicing proper trigger discipline or not. But that's just not good gun safety, that, however, does not mean that does not merit that you should kick. It's not. This. So she said. The whole region. He pointed that posted a photo together forever. That kind of thing. And the woman said that the minute, the administrator of the college would even go back to the classroom to get a crock pot. She goes like baby to support just like she was. And the school decided all my goodness, scary gone. It's this moms demand action, kind of this kind of stuff, they see gone. And I, I wrote online at the time I said, look, unless I'm missing something that's not divulged on the article safety violations in the photo aside. I don't understand why the school tilted justifiable to suspend this woman. And I do not is this is so stupid now for the colleges part. It's part of the Saint John's county school district. They suspended her according to. The assistant principal during the suspension meeting said that she had a quote mean, look on her face, and was, possessing, quote, illegal guns. So is this the new smart? She had a mean look on her face. How was that an illegal gun, the hell what in the world is an illegal gun? Are you trying to say that? She's a prohibited possessor because that's not true. There's no such thing as are you saying, she was in the legal possession because that's not true. Gary Donovan, Donna, Gary Donovan is the assistant principal. And so the I just doesn't make any sense to me. So cord Byrd, who is Dallas lawyer. He's a Republican state rep. You told action news jacks that look the constitution protects activities that other people might find uncomfortable or unpopular. That is true. And she's by the way, in her school uniform, but you can't tell that she's that you can't tell there's no logo, she's just in school. Scrubs, you can't tell what school she goes to just looks like she's in scrubs, you know what I mean? And they have all these sweet pictures on there on social media them with their family all wearing the same Christmas sweaters for Christmas photos and all kinds of stuff, they weren't doing any look, the safety violations, get me, but that's not worthy to being kicked out of college for this is stupid. This is so stupid. But this is how it is. And honestly, can I be real a lot of the gun control groups not only do they want everyone to freak out if they see someone holding a gun, but they want people to freak out if they see a black person holding a gun, Michael Bloomberg was captured on audio when he was speaking in Aspen, Colorado, I didn't event just several years ago that he believes in stop and frisk. And he said, quote, just throw young black men up against the wall, and frisk them in quote, and he blamed all black people for the majority of all the homicide in the United States. This is the guy who founded moms. And in every town. So why they're all run by white people, too. So this is it's just it's not saying that lightly. It is what it is this has been like this, since Jim crow where in the hell do people think that this ideology comes from gun control came because you had white Democrats that were terrified of free black people being able to arm themselves. And so they decided to come up with gun control, as a way to promote responsible gun ownership and here today. We're still seeing it in action. It's racist and sexist. She's not doing anything wrong in this picture. For crying out loud. So I dunno. She's gonna sue the school. There's a lawsuit going, they're going to be paying for her college education, but this is ridiculous. Shame on this school and shame on Donna. Gary Donovan, it's just it's that's, that's an I coast technical colleges. The school. So she's saying that they're violating her first and fourteenth amendment. Right. Which I don't disagree with her. And I hope she success won her lawsuit. She ought to be we have more to come. Patriot mobile is the only conservative.

"News ninety six point five you're talking about closing the gun show, loophole. What about in the internet on the internet? What about all weapons, I would support the cause you haven't always boated that way. I didn't vote the way once because it was an old assault weapons ban that I thought was overly drawn and allowed the manufacturers to avoid the band. But I certainly would support one. So this is Bill Bennett. I forgot who the hell he is. I let second because there's eleven thousand people. When there's eleven thousand people that are involved in, in this race Colorado. Welcome back to the show at delays on Twitter. On Facebook now from go. He is really like I I'm trying to figure out what the internet loophole is internet loophole. There's no internet loop hole there isn't right? I mean just none violation of law. Actual breaking the laws that what they're saying because that's what happens. It's not a loophole. Michael Bennett Bill Bennett, by the way, Michael Bennett is he's from Colorado, he's a Senator. And so I guess he's also running for president. I totally forgot. And I by the way, when I went and looked at the train scrap, try and scrap transcript for Dana bash when she introduced him all of his accomplishments, were, what is grandpa dead and his dad, like his dad was in the Carter and Clinton administration says grandpa was an adviser to FDR. It's just like he did those things, but not who. And then she asked him. And you know what would you didn't? He says. Yeah, what I the internet loophole gun, the Bill that loopholes, what did he say played again? What did he say? I just remember the internet loophole closing the gun show, loophole. What about in the internet Lupul on the internet? What about banning I would support that because it worked so, well, not really before the point where where Harry Reid actually didn't even bring it back on the floor in two thousand fourteen he wouldn't even take it out of committee. The internet, loophole Michael Bennett doesn't know how to buy guns heat Michael Bennet from Colorado thinks that if you go on the web or nuts, like I'll pretend I'm Michael Bennett. This is how he thinks the world works. Let's go, see if I can buy some guns on the Weber nuts. Let's, let's type in by some guns on my browser after the first couple of unsuccessful attempts, typing it into the dialog box on Facebook. Doc. I finally realized where my browser was. I have that I'm so glad we have that boomer assist the little paper clip that hops around in the corner of the screen so type by some guns into the browser. Oh, it went to buy some guns dot com have them ship right to your house. The government won't know let's buy a bunch of guns, but let's by eleven guns right now. That's how he thinks that works. He thinks that you can just by gun online, and a drone that is also armed actually it's an eagle that an armed eagle will fly to your house. That's what they do, and drop the gun off at your door like a stork would drop a baby. And then you have guns total, because I'm going to try it. The internet loophole. The internet loopholes a magical place you. No, he just says a bunch of stuff that's like not even there. Let's it's it's like a jeopardy category for things that don't exist. I'll have the gun show loophole in the internet loophole. Why not just go ahead and say you're going to ban red matter from Star Trek on top of it? We also need to do something about the photon torpedoes, we're the photon torpedo loophole. We got a pin that we have the time space continuum loophole. We need a band, that made you can go back in time a bygones and then bring it back here and there band. But you have bought the guns down. Gosh, that Michael Bennett thinking, everything all the so many loopholes, my gosh. It's crazy. Yeah. He I'm not really sure that I want someone in charge of government that doesn't know what the hell's going on. You know what I'm saying? If I've speeding above the speed limit, and I don't get caught that I find the loophole. You know, that's still a criminal act. Is it? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. No, they like to say criminal acts, only as it relates to guns are loopholes. Well, I know that person's a criminal, and they're not allowed to have a gun because federal law says that they're not. But if they get it off the black market. That's a loophole damn yellow biting gone owners. I want to open up a gun store, and call it internet loophole who I'm not even kidding you swear to you. I try Mark, I'm going to open it, and call it internet loophole. But to be ironic. I'm not going to have a website. Oh, oh my gosh. I just but that's that's how they think though. That's how they think that they, they think that I don't know. I just. And then the gun show loophole. I love these people that are like you going by guy gone saw. Yeah. And with no background checks, actually. That's not true. You ever bought a gun show? The only time that you can by gun at a gun show with no background checks. If you have no offense to anybody, you have some old Geezer, whose, like this is my Grandpa's civil war rival. And he's selling the one thing that he's got because you're going to go and use that in a crime. I mean, you know, there's this scores gang bangers out there using historical artifacts in crimes. That's you don't hear that because it doesn't happen. So there goes your argument. It's very strictly regulated people who actually know about guns and purchase said guns know these things. What? I'm just, you know, by the way, fulfils ship, they sell at gun shows, so it's like it's. There's no loophole. She goes to first coast, technical college, and she was suspended indefinitely over a photo of her and her fiance at the gun range posing with guns, Diomine Dallas is now suing the Saint Augustine school, the principal, and assistant principal. She said, everything has gone down the drain. I was making as I was really trying hard in school. So what happens is her fiancee's cousin, who's a veteran took his family to the range in showing improper, you know, showing them how to use firearms? So they, they posted a photo on, so she posted a photo. I'm sold on social media are no sorry. Her fiance, Anfernee Royster posted the photo on Facebook with a caption. She's my body and I'm her client now. But that's not good gun safety, that, however, does not mean that does not merit that you should kick. It's not overdone. So she said the whole reason he pointed that he posted it was like, you know, it was like a photo, we're together forever. That kind of thing. And the woman said that the minute the administrator of the college wouldn't even want to go back to the classroom to get a crock pot. She brought her birdie. She goes, like a baby. I have to support. She's like she was. And the school decided all my goodness, scary gone. It's this moms demand action, kind of this kind of stuff, they see gun, you know, and I, I wrote online at the time I said, look, unless I'm missing something that's not divulged on the article safety violations. "Welcome back. You're listening to cataclysm in oracle from the game crossing imposed by Conaco Kenji, this may be more of a device of track. I'll admit but earthly. I think it's a good Jane it plays as a busty and the game cross age. And honestly, in my opinion, gets your energy up. When you're trying to deal with it because you hear it's not it's not like nor is neither light nor airy. So why in the world when I picked this track for this episode? Well cross edge is a game that was developed by idea factory, but is a crossover RPG that features characters from a number of different companies a number of different franchise. Okay. So, for example, there's characters from the Tellier series such a Telia Marie probably heck, is that funny, things I said the same thing back then the sky character. Are the game number original characters in the game? And there's also characters from dark stalkers in the game. There's Dmitri Felicia Lilith. Oh, cool. The knee jerk came Donovan. Donna is like Jetta Jetta. As pretty much those guys like one other cat, Maury Morgan more so game. So basically, it's interesting to see these characters interact with other characters because a cipher fairly in game cinemas a really didn't have a lot of characterizations. Yeah. Yes. In fighting games. It's kind of like in between fights every once in a while. It's like I've traveled the road, fighting for my family, and then, like fight like five do have nothing to do with it. Then like the end of the game is in you walk alone back into the field of battle and the credits roll, like, oh, wow. Okay. That was his motivation, all long, if tobacco earlier topic whereas like I just don't care about the plots when a guy if the if the game loop and if the game play is like this sort of step back, just let it hat. Let it happen. So in this game ended up being interesting to watch like Morgan be treated like hero character and Dimitri and Lilith. Our billons though will is sort of a mixed villain. Like she's not he's kind of tether on both more on more on the grace. Yeah. Scored a see how these cares interact in this world, whether given personalities in dialogue, and, of course, the boss battles in this game or weird met at least probably I was playing on hard MU which is required for the winning the game. Nightmare. Right. So ended up happening was to not have to grind so much. I got to the point where boss battles involve me being having to pull off a really, really good combo with two turns, or I would die. It was it was at a high enough difficulty and you weren't granting enough to have a normal fight that you had to, like, have a flawless run pretty much. Yes. And it was brutal to because the high attack defence a weird method, which backfire when I got to the post game whereas well now you can't do that anymore. But these I saw the true ending. So I would walk and unfortunately the game itself review is do so hot. But I gotta say, even though it had a ton of flows. I had a great deal of fun playing it is hard. It's kinda hard to explain how it worked that way. But I love the game. What I can play again. I don't know. Like I try to go on back to play in the post game recently. That's what I was doing this PlayStation. One PS three PS three. Okay. Could you play it again? Yeah. UP Donnie, he don't you have you kept almost everything. So the Middle East. Someone's listening to this knows a really good guy. That's awesome for fixing or tending to PS three costs those my systems, fine. But I'm paranoid. I want somebody to my systems find, but my brain is crazy. You hush fuss. We were just saying like, yeah, you've on live your systems all your games. He came in with the Neo geo pocket which which was a little jingle played the beginning of the episode as soon as I heard it before we started doing the show. I was like, oh my God that, that, that jingle is like it isn't a stout. Triggered something. The playing you know bus to move and playing all this little fighting games. Russia roller hopefully, crusher was awesome. I remember that one pressure was that gate. Geeze where your paintbrush that Constan. Moves. You're trying to pay the Matt. While also running, avoiding things are trying to crush you crush other. Crazy played that again. All I had was like I've gals fighters had king of fighters Capcom vs, S, K and move. I never ton. I had puzzling. I had beast of dark arms beast. Buster ninety nine had bio motor, you try on car quite a clash metal slug. Remember you playing card Fedor clash showing, maybe it wasn't on the maybe it was another had to be because I have it on the DS, but I don't think I'd ever put it in the consulate. Remember long ago you're the one like this game is cool. You should be into it, and I mean, being like look peeling to me. It's still really hard and play the game. That's right. You can beat people that was a card version of mega man in a card version of key, not to, like, what's not to, like, all right. But apparently, this is also the same version that was released on the FM towns, Japanese computer system. Good. It's going to be. It's a little crazy. So, so, since it was the FM towns like Japanese only computer system that under the Panasonic three zero which, you know, it was notorious for having some pretty risque bring that risque as unlike maybe this game is going to be crap. I don't know. This is a dangerous game. I know that the low times on this insane. So this is interesting is ready to fight composed by cushion memorial. Yoko Shimomura, and arranged by unknown. No.

"I found him to be unbelievably divisive. He brought a lot of the racism and tendencies toward racism and polarization. Obama helped instigate a lot of that. And I was very critical of Obama's presidency on a regular basis on a daily basis. I remember specifically talking about some of the Obamas guests at the White House and not approving of ludicrous, for instance, and Kendrick Lamar and Jay z and you look at some of their lyrics. The profanity the the misogyny toward women the language. I it's it's I can't sit here and say that Kanye west just Trump invited him that. That's okay that he used BSN M F and was pounding the resolute desk in the Oval Office on his bizarre. I can't agree and say man that was great. And then those that are trying to draw a moral equivalence for some of the cursing presidents. We've had in the past their elected officials. It's not an invited guest. And then I've had people hit me with all. Well, it was this is my favorites. So schmidt. You're criticizing Konya. But it was okay for Bill Clinton to to have Monica Lewinsky perform oral sex on him in the Oval Office. No, well, first of all it didn't happen in the actual Oval Office. At least the the main event in the blue dress that happened in a little hallway just off the Oval Office. It it to me. It makes no difference. What Bill Clinton did was. Absolutely despicable disgusting to a young twenty something year old intern to the desecration of the west wing, and in that fashion. I listen, I can't tell you how much time it is not okay. But to suggest oh, it's okay for Bill Clinton, and the intern Monica Lewinsky, but it's not okay for Kanye, really. That's your argument. That's the best. You got really? Since nineteen ninety eight I've been railing against Bill Clinton. Also, policy wise the Clintons in general continues with Hillary of the Email server, which she should have had a full blown Muller investigation and still they should open that back up, and and people should go to jail, and that Hillary Clinton matter still doubt about it. But to say, oh, well, it's okay for it's not, okay. What happened with Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinsky? Absolutely, not or all the other women have accused Bill Clinton along the way. It's not okay. And I've made that clear many many times on this radio program. But I'm just giving you a little taste of because I thought the Konya was an absolute chemical cloud train wreck yesterday. That I must be anti Trump and Schmidt Orion. Somebody saying oh, well this quickly hold on a minute. This response. I gotta go to my Twitter response is gonna phones here. Eight hundred eight zero one eighty nine ninety nine and this is one of my favorites. Let me see if I could find this tea. Oh, here we go. As usual Todd. You get so angry when people disagree with you. This is because I'm like, no Konya was a mess yesterday. And that was not a good optic for the the Oval Office in the White House. This guy says that I'm a poser nothing, but a liberal acting like a conservative really because I've critical of Kanye west. Believable, can you? If Kanye west was invited by over to the White House and that happened. Oh my God. I would have been all over Konya and Obama the other folks and talk radio, and I'm sure summer like all Konya was great. They would have been all over Obama that's called hypocrisy, and it is disgusting. And I want no part of that. What else did this in baton say? I'm nothing, but a liberal acting like a conservative only not to lose your listeners bet you can't wait until three pm c can rant. I won't be listening. Well, first of all tell you right now, the guy is listen because whoever says did not gonna listen, they do so I really lifelock conservative and Trump was the democrat his whole family's liberal. And suddenly, I'm not a concern. I mean, give me a break. Laver's Albany entertainer of a conservative. Let's go to calls here, Han Schnitt. I mean, I'm telling you we're living in this parallel nutjob universe right now. It's insane. What's happening? Let's go to. How about Bob in in? Maine. I Bob your first up today on Schnitt. Welcome to the program. Hi, thank you for taking my call, Mr Smith. I think you're one of the best on Newsmax. I thought it was a Greenlee extremely. On carrying that. The secret service did not jump in while Kanye west performed and got up and ran around the desk and grabbed a hold of our president. I thought that was extremely extremely dangerous. Let me tell you what I thought that as far as those kinda was fully vanity is through security. I wouldn't expect the fact that he got up, and it might be disrespectful, but to get up and hugged the press. I didn't think the secret service was gonna pounds as if the president were was greeting people at some event than someone jumps over the barrier to hug the president. Yeah. The secret service will pounce then I wouldn't expect them to do that to Kanye west at all. But you know, as far as language as far as the content that was like, a great that was crazy town with Connie going in a million different directions and showing the entire world is security code on his iphone to show the president hydrogen. And it was like a scatter brained display like I've never seen with just I don't know how many dozens of topics that he tried to to race through. True. But it was pure insanity. But I wouldn't expect the secret service to to to jump jumping pouts Bob, I should say that having been involved in. That business. I would have. Taking away any pencil pan anything, however because in this. Arena that we're in right now. Of people being dissident be disrespectful. I feel that that was. One the secret service. I really do believe that they they let their guard down for an instant. And when you say, you're in the business, were you were you in law enforcement worker were you part of a a US agency? What would you do? Sarong? I can say is I did protect those that we value. I'm gonna assume that you might have been secret service for capital police of some sort or FBI let me leave you with this feel that he got a little bit close. Okay, fine. Let me leave you with this. Let me tell you. What kind e west was doing yesterday? I don't know if anyone. I don't know if anyone's pointed this out, but I certainly will for me. My interpretation of Kanye west yesterday was first of all county west has always been an ego maniac. Meglomaniac narcissist of massive proportions. It's always been about Kanye and Kanye only. And I I'm pretty sure like a dog. He was marking his territory Konya was here slamming on the desk jumping around and hugging the president. He was letting everyone know that Konya was actually running that meeting and not Trump, which is a rarity, Bob. Thanks for the call. Let's grab Donovan in Houston. Texas. Donovan you're on Schnitt hike. I actually appreciate you taking my call do agree with you on most things. Consistency on the stance with. And so forth. But where I disagree with you as that, you know, he's a different type of person. I mean, if you if you use music, you know, he tells a story, you know, that he's able to actually sit down and write out now. Ten fifteen minutes that we saw on TV yesterday. That man had to get off thought. So. Yeah, he he. Rambling to agree with that. Donovan Donna, and he was he he was putting on a show. He was performing Konya was performing for the cameras that was just a a media spectacle yesterday. And the fact that he said that he's not bi-polar that he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. And then he was told that it's not bipolar disorder that it's sleep deprivation, I'm sorry. I do believe that Kanye west. And I hope he's being treated I do believe that he does have. And I felt this way for years and years that he does have some type of mental issues not respect the fact that you know, you say that that was a show an entertainment, but at what point do we take away a person's job, and then put him as a person look at them from their opinion. I respect that you know, where you're coming from on that. But I just think that there was a message that he was actually saying that we're not talking about. We're just talking about, you know, the disrespect that happened in office, which I respect, you know, the reverence of the of the Oval Office, but I do believe that we're just not looking at the actual content of what was being Donovan did you listen to me yesterday by any chance. Okay. So yesterday, I pointed out a couple of things that I agreed with I spent some time talking about tanya's right about jobs and bringing jobs back. You know, he brought up the Brandon Adidas in this. And I I even commented that let's see how many jobs Adidas will bring back from southeast Asia, whether paying people pennies nickels to put these shoes together, I doubt they gonna bring all these jobs back to the US. But I do agree with I'm bringing back his much manufacturing trying to solve the Chicago crime issue the murder rate issue in Chicago. I'm in agreement on numerous things that he said, but still it didn't change the fact that that was just like off the flip and wall. Donovan thanks for the call. Thanks for listening and watching let's grab Susan in Missouri. Hello, Susan, Iran. Schmitz. Hello. It's a pleasure to talk with you. I agree with you a thousand percent. I texted the president and toting. This is not the time Conway made him look like I'll sitting there listening to this. Garbage. But he was. We got all these people in southern United States. We need to get on. Somebody is giving the president. Wrong. Well, again, you know, Susan this this lunch. The Konya launch had been set up for a while, Jared Kushner and actually put this thing together. And I even said yesterday, you know in the wake of hurricane Michael and the suffering in the Florida panhandle into Georgia the Carolinas. Now, we've got deaths in Virginia. You know, they should have postponed that because you know. A lot of people on the Trump train. But yesterday was the Konya crazy train and the optics the optics were not good on that yesterday. That's what I told him to. Not good. But I'm just retired old. Very Terry insurance around the millions of people that are hundred times smarter than me. Stupid stuff that comes out. I go what? Happening now Susan are you try your Trump supporter? Well, listen, it's it's great to hear unless I know that I- artificially in my head amplify when people attack me on Twitter. They'll call the show, I do know that there are plenty of Trump's supporters that are level headed like you that still understand that he does make mistakes, and I eight year not, you know, stabbing the president in the back. If you call them out on some of the mistakes, or you don't agree with everything or in that case Connie as behavior in the Oval Office yesterday, which I thought was disgraceful. The fact that we can speak out, even if we support Trump on most levels that that was just an unfortunate spectacle and circus yesterday. Susan, thanks for the call. Let's hit Mississippi next and David is on Schnitt. Hello, David urine. Yes, sir. How you doing today? All's well, go ahead. Just wanted to make a comment. One of the class plastic symptoms of manic depressive psychosis, which people now call it. Bipolar disease is delusions of grandeur people thinking they're superman. People thinking they can jump up run around the desk grabbing present the United States and give him a big hug. Also and he did Connie brought and I play that audio yesterday..
