"I think in the levied directly you. But i think there's a lot of times a work like that like silver surfer. Enslavers will like a death trap. It can get reduced to like was fun. Like what's what's is fun. Like i enjoyed it and then it almost gets an evaluation of like in there for it was better than that logged. I don't know you don't. But i'm saying a lot of times that type of critical evaluation. It can just be like it can just be like yeah. It was just fun like it wasn't trying to do anything else. I enjoyed it. And then it's like oh and it was better because that and i'm kind of at least in this moment kind of thinking like actually it's not. It's not better just because it play out safe in didn't make you think about anything like value. There's value in fun. There's value in delight and we celebrate those things that do that successfully But i think there's there's a lot more to be said about comics that are trying to push this medium. That again is like often very juvenile and we talk about it as adults and pretend that it's not super tufa nile. Because you have to have a reason to be in your thirties talking about marvel comics. So you don't feel like you know you wasting all this time reading literature for children's unit and books that that push on that make me feel better about myself. Ok well no i. I agree with everything you're saying there is part of the what we're doing which is also wrapped in. We're looking at the thirty years. After the fact when comics have become a lot more complicated and free. You know like editorial lee freed to start discussing stuff like this with a little bit more leeway right like It you know. I think the medium has just evolved in up so like part of it is judging by you know like more modern standards which is not not fair but also just kind of what we can do and it's also not that interesting to talk about these comics and just constantly be hedging. Well for the time for the time for the time. And there's a certain we can all we can do. Is you know what what we read now. Yes there's a certain elevation that. I give this as well because death lock a cyber folks. This is a black creative team and in marvel. We don't get that. So if i'm reading. Nineteen seventy eight and even something we like even raise the panther in don mcgregor ends that with a quote or some literature in the past right. He he references. You know something I don't know somebody wrote right. Some some heavy tax That doesn't have the same value in my eyes. it doesn't have the same lived experience. That mcduffie cowan bring to death. Lock in that actually makes a significant difference. So that's i think..

"Just i mean there was something of the representation and the You know we were just talking like people who are not white men. Don't give those get those chances. And i think those chances need to be more like equally distributed but like i'm not opposed to that idea that people who are not of the cultures can't write about them i just don't think is interesting most of the time. I think it's just harder because you don't have that lived experience. You don't have that specificity. That comes with like deeply understanding. Something I until until the representation across these publishers is is even resembling something that is close to what it should be. I would i would say i'm opposed to it. I mean i agree with the general idea of like don mcgregor wrote or favorite black panther story. Jason aaron wrote a very specifically indigenous comic book scalped. Which i love. That book is a white guy. And i think that's a great book but it's doable. But the reason we keep seeing. It's doable is because they keep getting the bats anyway so to me it's like i am opposed to it in the again like you cannot pronounce expensive as the writer of black panther. Like if you're mobile you cannot do that and typically severe because of the the huge disappear Disparity in like hiring for so long right like if the hiring had always been more equitable throughout of history. Wouldn't be that big of a deal. I guess they're kind of talking on two different issues. Where like socially i want these jobs to become like the the writers writing black stories to be predominantly black and the writers writing asian. Asian like socially. I think those jobs should go to the people who have them philosophically. I think like a big large scale. I think anyone should be able to tell any story they want you know like on kind of the philosophy of art right. I don't think any story preface to that all things being equal. No right exactly. yes yes i just. I think that's the distinction that's important to me somewhat Of just nine being the inverse that is not Is not easy. Coach should not be writing. Captain america because you should. Oh yeah more versus is not also true. This is part of marble. Did not have a black female writer until twenty fifteen. I like that s- baffling to me right. And they had what like three black writers three black men writers from the eighties until the two thousand. Like very that's a accurate statistic that confounding. I don't know if that's true. I don't know about. I mean the black woman thing is true like the. I remember that coming up. Yeah that's true. i. I don't know how many black writers they had i mean. Christopher priest's is the big one. I don't know how many others they had a few few artists anywhere duffy. Reginald huddling hungry. That i can think of right away in..

"That's a fight that will get people talking deafening really excited absolutely embarks came up short against Darren Caldwell as over the first round Ranatunga look like I said before. It's a lot of people. Forget the Pico for before he got knocked he was dominated item on the ground on AMCOL Holwell's far more accomplished wrestler even Pico. So it's like I think he is anyway so I mean I feel like that was always a way nervous. I got what sort of what happens. You know. He was hesitant at the stars and sort of you know once he gets it down. You're not getting Michael based on. I think he true a knee or something in the mist and then call. We'll talk yeah the cage and then got hold on. Just start them a few strikes so we have to defense around down there and then you knew it was sort of you you could sort of see the end was common there and I think he was just like faulk and he looked very shook off the fight and obviously the Call US I think the counter said he never lost ninety Macau about nothing before on. So that's that's a tough one taken by Pratt. John's that's going to be very interesting. hops back from the young girl like this to make them or the break. And I'm yeah yeah absolutely. I feel like Adam be. We've talked of utilities. He's got his head screwed on. He doesn't seem like go anywhere is going to beat himself up. To which of course loss your head way I am borjas called LV AJ. That is a great void. Isn't it faulk me focus. Aj McKee beats him that's like that's a UFC events series. It's an absolute the future. All around champion. I think age is just more tools everywhere. It's a lot bigger than looking Diana's even looked at didn't he and didn't seem like audio McKee's De McKee's always the truth is the guy in Ballatore He's just he's just printing like look at the fights we've seen him the last number months-old it's just everywhere. He's just so good. Every strike excellent really good on the ground when you get off his back gold wrestler like this does not want air. Your fault really isn't so like I think it's a telephone for call as well. No bound to my champion at the moment. So That's interesting. Yeah Yeah Yeah very interesting. Also Raymond Daniels remember his highlight reel. Ko in Birmingham. I believe it wasn't his last outing and not good windstorm. We got a bit more on the ground which was nice. Also Arron pego would a sweet left hog NOCCO Donya Kerry Kerry. Aj also get submission win and how AJ exams such a big name from a big team and obviously lost. His debut was one three cents. Hate like I mean I mean it does show you that lake. What Dylan has done in? The sport is pretty. Aj's Roy Dan in terms of Jujitsu due to competition with the Dias roads. I mean there's I mean there's so many things you feel that would compel them under definitely is compelled to him. But not nearly on the level of Dylan Thomas. All Right Don McGregor no he. It's not like that's all you're GONNA do. It was loads of goes. I've never seen before in dot com famous now. Dylan's definitely used his his platform. He's doing very well. He's been very provocative on Haiti. Like so that's going to get you Likes but listen to this. Game's all about building. Let me talk about our. Our other are not say this Arnold Allen earlier on and UH Scott Coker Martin eleven days. You ever the Hagley as they they want goes like this. They won't go fucking Brash. They won't go Ayton fucking Dick and socially me that sort of stuff but they all this shit man they do so. That's where I worry for for these guys if that they love it until they have to say it's January sometimes but sometimes we saw call governor over the years but you know what I mean. It's sort of make a decision but I can understand the way guys WANNA keep this. Genuine liners rabbit. Sometimes doesn't always work headquarters. MELANDER got off to a good start rebel tour and good debut on a catch way because season win Anthony Taylor against Christie via pretty boy. MIAMI'S A FEU. He's on a FEU win streak. Listen I liked DOT GOV. I'll give him back but he's always respectful when you see Marindola when he was fighting with bomb When he was fighting with always has a few things to say? When you turn the camera he does? He does often the cameras on but listen what. What a great story? Obviously well-documented documented depression problems and felt suicide. I think at one point I really really good story on a negative record comes back in back Ah wins a regional promotion title asks for Bator gets on Bator goes on and fairness obviously from Dias team as well as our town before the FCC Z.. And getting the win their amount hats off dot is what martial arts is. All about. Your really is it's a really good story. Northumbria Bass wishes to die. Johnnie Taylor was fair. Plays Bach deserves everything. He got absolutely am now. We'll have an interview with drifts. duplessis the Double Bull Champ three us the double champ from EFC also former KS W champion. The last person to beat one of our faves on the show Roberto Sauvage sauvage and the trick is pretty much everything now. Like I mean in terms of he's gone back to the Middle Way Toil Toil. He's he's fought like a product. What did you ask them what they ask them together got a hey he did as inter I love that? That's a great brilliant forty for chaos w you can feel like he's nearly at that stage where he's like when the fuck am am I gonNa get this call and he deserves. It looked like he definitely deserves it. And he's with Donny Rehab now as well which is a great great so yeah I feel like a great to check in again. Don't forget as well. This fellow bet jolt in Santa's who's on a tear now when he no. He bet him in K. W. after to the south point when he moved up to one eighty four. And you know that's his last loss he's gone onto be Alex Lori Anne off yet a win in the. AFC reason the as well yeah. I think it's probably time. He's there at airboats can get a big win. I mean win over. Ask Him would need to guarantee at this day's look we'll have to wait and see what it goes but great to speak to drink is and will be back.

"But it's not a lot Sidebar did you meet Peter did that's guy. Oh Peter Michael Huggins Peter's round obviously managing him Peter's really good guy he told me about of CBS Andor to about a year and a half ago me Peter been working really close well as well as just really good friends He Hook like W W tickets because he knows guys like we have a history and he had told me because he also manages Sogan he signed his kid and he said he was during. We need you to see this and he was like seventeen sixteen at the time. He's get reassigned top ranked in like you sent me like video and I was like yellow. Will this game. And it's one of those things where you see like it's like you said it's very similar to baseball. When there's certain aspects of the fight game where fighters mature well beyond their age devon? Haney has those attributes. ZANDER has attributes as well as not power. It's it's not like speed. It's not like athletic ability. It's a mind it's like boxing. Mind and he's got that man. I can't remember too many cats like that so he's definitely wanted to watch I I think. PM man either be big dude. That's the difference that really stands out. Because you know even Devon Haiti. He was like I'm so used to seeing guys. Start that like you know. One thirty one thirty five worked away up in weight you know. Get their grow. Man Bodies Zander's bigger. ZANDER was chilling with Terence Crawford on Friday Crawford showing love at the weigh ins and then there chopped up zander's like four inches taller than Crawford towering over one hundred and forty seven pound champion and they're in the same division right now it's crazy crazy. Yes to be aerospace is already his like you'll where does this kid end. Doc I I was trying to think like maybe Andre Ward size got hundred ward like yo where you size when ah next time you see Andrei and a couple where you his because you look at it and this is going to be a monster those heavier weight so you chiller him. His family super down Earth from Puerto. Rico We chopped it up. 'cause they got family out there still. Obviously the earthquakes hit We're talking about my grandma's they're without power for like a day and a half always sounded in Puerto Rico man always so so. We're talking about my grandma. And she's like already in love with him. She loves every Puerto Rican fighter as I've said countless times so we're doing that over the weekend so they're super cool people but this is definitely a kid to watch and then it made me think about some of the other young fighters team Lopez. Haney Sh- occur Ryan Garcia. They're also young. Are we in a time. Boxing where they're rushing these kids too fast. Because I was talking. Talk to my dad about this and I was like. I don't remember like Floyd was talented at fifteen sixty obviously Olympics and all that stuff. But I don't remember Floyd being rushed into a fight like deal females rushed into this next fight like twenty one and winning lightweight title. Okay you're going to get the number one pound for pound guy in the world and Loma. Chango big. Floyd wasn't doing that. This wasn't happening in boxing. Manny manuals washing people. But he wasn't doing this to what twenty seven twenty eight. Yeah so I mean the the immediate guys that come to mind of all times Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson was wrecking people. It was a champion at twenty one. Yeah and and when we talk about like most of the guys are small he wasn't. He was a heavyweight not the brakes off of people. So I think there's an there's an interesting thing because there is so much boxing available fans now. Did you get to see all. The young talent and the talent has opportunity to showcase case their abilities on television. Become known because if this was like two thousand and all you had was an HBO Showtime Boxing and there was no Tuesday night fights which used to have avenue. If there's none of that you wanna see the light of these guys like it. Just wasn't enough real estate to showcase the ability but now the zone Piane Dan Showtime Fox enforce these wheels no longer. But it's like there was so much boxing that you could see all these guys and I don't think there wasn't a long along. I think is is kind of similar to baseball where I can't remember a time. Obviously look at a guy like Mike Trout. I can't remember a time with so many under twenty five guys playing at this level. You have guys like trout Kunia dues. Like cody bellinger. I mean there's so many guys like the MVP EH VP rates. That are under twenty five so I think the game is changing as some of these guys are just coming up a little bit faster. They're being tested. They're going to Jim's aspiring with some of the great awesome bigger fight is stronger fight or seasoned fighters in the getting their opportunities. So I think it's just a fun time and I personally. I don't believe in most cases. Their fighters are being Russell on. I believe you're good enough. Fight fucking guy some cases you just might not be good enough and I'm speaking directly about the onset wilder because he fought tomato cancer forty fights because he started boxing late so they couldn't they had they had to work their way through. But if you're ready you're ready. Ridden go fight. And if you're not reading you lose because the defeat is overrated because not. Everybody goes through undefeated. Everybody's floyd you come on like Annella if you're strong my did you take that and he will and I'm better now now that's true. I mean eventually. Also they're going to bump each other off like lake sooner or later like they're everyone's GonNa hand everyone in l like the days of Leonard Hagler hearns all that stuff it's just natural pecking order boxing when you have competition Asia like someone's GonNa Catch off day or styles make fights it's a saying for a reason I just couldn't remember a time where we might actually see the Ryen Garcia versus Evan. Haney when they're twenty three and not twenty nine not thirty two like but an Arrow because we imagine but in fighting. I don't know I mean. Obviously they were a little bit different weight but fighting twenty three twenty four years old. No I can't make it so crazy but we we're in an age where we might see that now. Were these guys have been champions at twenty one twenty two two and they have to fight each other are twenty five twenty six. It's it's it's it's crazy to think about so I was like man. Boxing's a trending in a good direction. It says is changing so much and kids are so advanced much earlier and the competition is so much younger. So it's exciting time to watch boxing before we get out of here. The last fight over the weekend. was the main event in Atlantic City. Josh Heart defending the honor of Bernard Hopkins came out Bernard Hopkins Executioner facemask. He had mill playing over loudspeaker. Everyone's height right. The philly people are brawling in the stands and shit. Everyone's height and heart goes out there and gets molly walked by Joe Smith. First of all you disrespected the man because you call them Josh Heart. He's not he's he doesn't play for the PELICANS. Oh Shit my bet. But he what he probably he fought like a janitor right. Doug Rox for Jessie are. I'm watching this by. I've seen numerous times and moving up in weight. Seem like a a lot of people the right decision to make. But he's very lean. He's got like a deontay wilder ish frame where he's very lean and kind of toned up but what was he doing out there. The footwork was terrible. I don't know what the strategy was like. Joe Smith. Junior is not like the most skilled boxer but he comes to fight every fight every fight. Joe Smith Junior comes to fight and heart was on his bicycle from the opening bell was sent in his feet to throw which is terrible. And when you look at the rest of the heavyweight division Joe Smith Junior should get a fight probably get washed by somebody better than him but he'll make it a good fight. He's a guy who will continue. I don't know what you do. Just heart he looked terrible and the judge who gave gave him the. What did they give? What was it ninety four ninety five year after getting knocked down? What this'll criminal split decision people like? What no man? I wasn't watching that fight. I don't I can't David explained it. Does somebody who has to wake me up. Because clearly I was sleep during the rounds the he one because I can see now not a Mary Mary around the he one he looked terrible. It was not good. He spent way too much time thinking about the entrance. None of time figure about the fight so yeah that it was a last boxy fighter week and next week we have more boxing. There's ESPN card somewhere like near Buffalo New York but I'm watching it just because feed Feelings for their whole is on that card. Remember that and once a prospect of the year. Two Thousand Fifteen. The motorcycle accident like really hurt him but then he got knocked Down York by journeymen in. It's all bad but he switched camps. which trainers still young see if he can show something in this returns on watching that? Plus he's Puerto Rican and my grandma loves him Blah Blah Blah. So I have to watch his fight and then I think that's it it for boxing. Because I don McGregor zero five next week O.. J. Rock fight off be watching that. I'll tell my employer but I'll be watching exact exact next week it as well Jay Rock in Philly. Damn I wanted to go to that fight. Oh this too much stuff on that night but yeah yeah. That's going to be good Jay rock. Is it a weird place though and we'll talk about that next week. I'm not sure where he goes after. This doesn't seem like like heard is in a rush to fight him again. That's my issue. Yeah we'll talk about that. Next week is fair. Her had the opportunity to final. Not Ready for that so hey I don't want to run that back right now. Okay interesting word like right. You'll see that every day But we'll talk about all that next week on our boxing episode. So a lot of good stuff to recap. Thank you guys for listening today. "I had you on because you were they coach for a local rugby team. That's right. That's right. I was the head coach for the Colorado Springs, grizzlies boys, high school rugby team. That's right. And they were awaiting they were. They were we've, we've since dissolved in boys going off into the other two close that are playing still playing until oh and ragweed that's a lot of fun. It is. You look like you'd be good at it. My head says, yes, but my body says, so that's why it was time to retire. And you send him ventured into what writing a book Jesus in your spare time. When did you have time for this out is the, the funny thing about it? Everybody you asked me that, and really what it came down to was committing to it. And I quite literally blocked out an hour a day. For about nine ten months to ride some days. I'd write to three words, some days, I'd write two thousand in that our. So it was just committing to that. And doing it. That's what got it done. Exactly. And that's absolutely incredible. So tactical sixteen is going to be helping you with a publishing is this correct? Touchable. Sixteen is a veteran focus publishing company, so all of their authors or either veterans, active duty or military spouses, also. So there's quite a variety of books from kids books to sill. And I think there's even a couple of novels they've published I like that veteran, and they're helping out in some cases for free so you can always look at tactical sixteen in it's one six dot com. If you're a veteran and you're looking to become the next Otis. What is the name of your vote is about? My book is evil in your team success. And it's about leadership. So the, the central theme throughout my book is is that you cannot succeed by yourself. And that's why labeled it and on your team success. So start off with figuring out how to define your success are individuals success. And then how to build your team, how to make decisions that'd be decisive as a leader how to handle failure, and then finally one of my favorite chapters is don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. You don't get in there. Get in there and grab the shovel grab them off helped the team, get done. What's done what needs to get done? That's, that's what's important. And that is hugely important. I always say everything rises and falls on leadership and believe me people need to see that you're willing to dig through the trenches first before they're going to jump in and follow. Exactly, exactly. You know, one of the fundamental building blocks in the US army as a fire team. And the way that fire team leader leases team is by example, everything he does the team does. And this lead from the front as that basic, fundamental style of leadership of leading from the front so everything you do. So the example for your team. And that's that's how you start to become a leader. You don't just put a title on yourself and pushing and say, I'm in charge, you've got to do the work you gotta get there and you a treat your team. Right. So then they respect you as a two way street. How'd you present your military background? And your years coaching the right team and decided I'm here. Right. This on paper I need people to be on deC and learn it. And you could be helping out a lot of people, that's exactly what it is. So I talk about some principles in the book throughout the book. And then I throw in my, my war stories, my rugby game stories and how how those how ply those principles and how I used it to succeed in a certain situation, whether it was challenging the young rugby players to take on something you and take that responsibility, so that they could step up and become young leaders of themselves and their teammates or. My time and Haiti with the polish social forces and how how we got them. Into into operations where they wouldn't have been doing anything, if we hadn't taken charge of the situation and move forward and provided solutions. Exactly I love it. I, I think leadership is everything in this world. So, and even if you think you're not a good leader. It's just a matter of really learning books. The tools absorbing it and then applying it to your everyday life. So this book is for sale now or do, we have to wait to the book signing. A few more weeks. There's have a presell link. I'll be putting out on, on my Facebook page and linked to all my social media should have that within the within the next week or so. And then yes, at the book signing on the twenty second of June Pike's peak brewery of in monument by a beer or I'm sorry, you can buy a beer and give you can also buy a book and get a beer, much better situation. So that'll be going on. So I'll have a lot of the books vailable, then I'll be signing the books and talking with people about how, what my experiences were as earlier through. Twenty five years in the army ten years in business and eight years as a boys'. Rugby coach antastic. So this is a great deal. You get to buy a book by one of Otis's books at the pikes peak berry argument is that the one right off the interstate. Yeah. And then if you buy a book, they're going to give you a beer, so it's like getting the book for free. That's right. Great beer to that. That's my favorite beer. Now we know what if I was there last night. Yes. And so it'll be four sell there. You'll be signing the different books, and then we'll be able to find this online on your tells your Facebook page or your did page. So my Lincoln pages, just always McGregor. Also, my Facebook, I think is Otis. Don McGregor one, but. Shriek if I'm not a whole lot of Otis mcgregor's out in the world. Fortunately, and then also my website is LTO dash, enterprises dot com. So I'll have the link their tactical sixteen will also have the link where you can pre buy the book and once the book is released publicly after the pre sales over also have it on Amazon. Ooh. Even easier. One click on Amazon by this is really nice to be able to go to the brewery on June twenty second. And what time should we have everyone come rushing down?.

They faced elimination game seven against the avalanche won that game. And now they will face elimination for the fifth time. But the problem is Erik Carlson out. Tomas hurdle out pavonis could be a game time decision likely out. That's just too much, overcome you. With think now this sharks team has shown a lot of fight. You just can't put the blanket over their head. They just refuse to die. And that's the memo that I would give the Saint Louis blues don't mess with the sharks win the game. Tonight ended, and then you get yourself some rest, right? Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, so five days arrest, as opposed to the ten days rest that the Bruins have maybe even at out just a little bit rather than having to go to San Jose per game seven on Thursday and then face elimination yourself. So try to kill this team off that I don't know what the status of those three players would be for a game seven, but clearly with a couple of days, maybe they can find themselves to get back into the lineup and be a little bit better off in game seven. They are in game six don't mess with it just finished shut off and ended. And the blues are going to try to -ccomplish something they haven't done, as I mentioned, one thousand nine hundred seventy and if you don't know the history back in nineteen sixty seven sixty eight the league expanded from sixteen to twelve and the idea at the time calling Clarence Campbell was the then president of the National Hockey League decided to put all the expansion teams in one conference. So Saint Louis along with Los Angeles and the California golden seals, Pittsburgh Penguins. Flyers Minnesota North stars all in the same conference which guaranteed and expansion team to make it to the Stanley Cup final. But the blues led by Scotty Bowman. We're better than everybody else. So three straight years, they went to the Cup final sixty eight sixty nine and seventy got swept all three times. So they're owing twelve and the Stanley Cup final. And of course nineteen seventy they were eliminated by the Boston. Bruins in overtime in game four with Bob your flying through the air. One of the most iconic hockey pictures. If not sports pictures of all time, that's the last time the blues of made it all right. So it kind of doesn't count it counts, but an expansion he was gonna go, give them credit for being the best team. The first year they're under five hundred when they went to the Stanley Cup final in sixty nine and seventy there were about ten games over. So they were legit team. I'm on, if they were legit as far as being the best team in the NHL or the second best team in the NHL, but the format certainly favored them since then this is their fourth appearance just fourth appearance in the conference. Final eighty six. The closest they came to go back to us down, like a bottle sixteen years after the Bob your game..

"The. Is that game misconduct podcast with Don league-record and welcome to the Wednesday dish of game is conduct. I am Don McGregor. Well, it looks like it's over in the east. It's happened before teams have come back from three nothing data's maverick. Justin Williams on two of the teams that have done it of the four National Hockey League history with the flyers in two thousand ten and of course with the Los Angeles Kings in two thousand fourteen but Carolina down three games to none. And you go back to going into the third period of game one when Carolina had the lead they got the penalty trouble. They couldn't figure it out lost that game completely outplayed in game two and they just couldn't find a way to get the, the gave up a couple of quick goals in the second period. Curtis mcelhinney was the goal tender. I don't think it really made that much of a difference I thought he played, okay. But the fact remains is he was completely outperformed by to harass Rask has been the underrated player in these playoffs. Right. We've talked so much about Bob Ross ski. Did in Columbus and the morale and mcelhinney combination Carolina. And of course, Robin Leonard was able to do in the first round with the islanders and Jones in San Jose. I mean, the list goes on and on with the performance Bennington in Saint Louis and not a lot of conversation about what to harass has been able to accomplish. He's been unbelievable. A nine forty four save percentage so far in the series didn't give up the greatest goal against the Han. But I thought the turning point for me in this game was a power play early right out of the box for Carolina, peppered rask's, which shots opportunity after opportunity, could not get that first goal. And how big would that first goal been the building would have been up for grabs gift Boston on their heels a little bit Carolina? Couldn't do it. They get the goal to make it a one to nothing which was huge for them. And then they get the go ahead goal. The insurance goal that they were looking for to make it to nothing. Brad Marchand hate him if you want, but he's still a great player makes it to nothing quickly to Hans go. Scores. His first as I said count counter soft goal by Rask. So maybe thought Carolina would still have some jump and it didn't happen and ended up losing the game. And I think inevitably a losing the series now just a question of when it's going to be done, Wagner blocks shot. We don't know if he's going to be back at all. When you talk after the game, Bruce, Cassidy didn't seem that Wagner had a really good prognosis. He wouldn't give any details, but I don't think be back for the rest of the series. We'll see what happens in the final. The other controversy was a goal tender interference. That took a goal away from Boston would have made it three one didn't matter. Anyway Boston won the game. But I thought it was the right call. I thought Debrosse could have gotten out of the way I think, depressed did of Beck. Mcelhinney is ability to see it. I thought the contact initiated wall mcelhinney was in the blue. I know a lot of people get upset about it. I understand. It's inconsistent. That's why we should not review judgment calls because it's always going to be in the eye of the beholder. But when I saw it live when I saw it on replay, I didn't have. Problem with it. But again Boston can't complain. Too much ended up holding on and winning the game to garage. I think has an excellent opportunity here to be the cons. My trophy winner of Boston goes on to win the Stanley Cup. He has been special member. He was on that team in in twenty two thousand nine that lost to Carolina although he didn't play. He was on the team in twenty eleven when they wanna Stanley Cup. But again that was Tim Thomas Stanley Cup not to harass Stanley Cup. So maybe this will be finally his do this will be his time..

"Don. League-record and welcome to the Friday edition of game misconduct. Don mcgregor. I tweeted this out earlier, and it's interesting that we have four series going on right now and three of the four now even at two games apiece. The only ones lagging behind right now, the Allender spacing elimination tonight when they take on the hurricanes were up free games, the non otherwise every series has been compelling. We go back to last night with the Bruins four one win over the blue jackets even up that series. And you know, we talked so much about Columbus in Carolina. What an amazing conference file that would be in these two teams just seem to be on a collision course, and what a tremendous story. And of course, you've got Colorado in Dallas out west and those are wildcard teams we have four wildcard teams in the conference final. You know, the Bruins are still there. The Bruins are still the best team left. The Bruins were probably the second best team in the NHL the regular season ended, and they're just two wins away from going to the conference final. And they made a statement last night. Hey, we're still here. We're still a team that can win a Stanley Cup. And you know, they jumped on the blue jackets early got a couple of goals they were affective on their power play, which I think is important for the Boston Bruins. They're important for every team. The Pasternak has been kind of a 'nigma in these playoffs. Taken off the top line bounce to the third line at times. But he gets a huge goal. Bergereon gets the follow up on the power play too. Big to nothing and look like the Bruins are gonna cruise. But then a little over a minute after the Berge on goal kind of some controversy. The because the Bruins went on the game. Anyway, didn't matter but penins scores to make it to one clearly play was allowed to continue after the puck touched the netting. And I've called a lot of games over the last few years, obviously since the netting was put him behind the goals. And I always wondered this. Maybe I could talk to somebody in the National Hockey League Y is play dead. When a touches the netting. I understood. Band that technically it's not part of play that would have gone over the plexiglas have the netting up in there. So you can't allow play to continue the netting doesn't go around the entire stretch. So that you should blow it dead. But what I would say is listen, the the ice the plexiglass is an equal around. I mean, it is around technically. But if it goes into the bench, it wouldn't have reached. And yet the whistle is blown. So obviously, it's not completely equal around the rink. Why not play continue if the puck stays on the ice surface? If it bounces off the netting and slides down and goes into the crowd while obviously it'll blow the whistle. The puck can't be played. But of about is off the netting ends up on the ice one. I continue to play. And the reason I say that is because it's sometimes so difficult to tell you sometimes you can kind of just tell by the balance that it wasn't the glass sometimes because there's a lack of sound. But in the game last night, you couldn't tell. L and play was allowed to continue Aaron scores the goal. What if that had been you know, the game winning goal in overtime? I mean that controversy would have a stink to it forever. So why not just make it easier for everybody? If the if the puck stays in play even if it goes off the Nutting wine I continue to play. It's not a true bounce. But what true bounce? Sometimes do you get off the glass, sometimes it goes off of a stanchion. And you think it's going to be played a certain place in bounces in a different direction. So I would avoid the controversy altogether and allowed it to play to continue for bounces off the netting and stays on the ice surface and allowed to continue to play. So it's two one going in the second period, stay scoreless through the second..

"And a person that I've come to know over the last couple of years, and my son Brooks who is a fifteen fifteen she'll be on the team and we're hoping to have a good season. And it's really exciting to be part of it. So thanks for that for the note from the the viewer 'cause the jersey shore whalers were nice enough at least about it. And. You know, it's fun. I love coaching. Donnie, I've done the last couple of years the youth hockey for last two years at the brick hockey club and great people there and we've had some really good growth for the players. And it's always about to me the development of the kids really on the ice and off the ice as people, and it's a lot of fun so long it's opportunity at a little bit of a higher level for fifteen years. So it'll be fun. My kids are ready to skate and play that you can be someone that coaches them that would be see that half. I'll be I'll be there with my Dan also wants to give kudos to the NHL NBC for making so many games available for viewing even as a ranger fan. I think the past five days of hockey rival the first week of March madness great job, and that does get lost to and listen, I work at ESPN. And I know a lot of people we've talked about this before upset that he has Pnn lost hockey, but he SPN wouldn't have every single game available. The way NBC has made them available. So I think that's been great to now. I don't watch CNBC. So every year I kind of forget what number it is on direct team. So I gotta get a search for those games. Three fifty five. Right. So I found that out in the NHL networks picked up a game. But for the most part NBC CNBC NBC sports net have had all the games. USA too. So they've made these things available. So it's it's there for everyone. So good job out of that. Which is great. All right. So great, man. Enjoy your show today. I'm sure a lot of people are gonna be watching because this just been an unbelievable first week. And I think it's only gonna get better. So we will reconvene again on Monday. Who knows what's gonna be next? Last week at this time on we. I mean, let's face it. If somebody would've told us, hey, the jackets will fall behind in game. One three nothing in the first period rallied to win that game. And then roll the lightning and have a three nothing lead. We would have just said the person is not. So the islanders have three nothing lead over the penguins. I mean, these are these are great stories, and it's been a fun first round so far and we got to go. I'm looking forward to a buddy enjoy man, I'll watch on television. All right. Thanks, man. All right. That's the great EJ Radic watch on the NHL network NHL now between the hours of four and six PM eastern time. So it's been an incredible five days. It's going to get better got four games tonight. So we're looking forward to continuation of these great stories overtime shockers and the like, so I'm looking forward to talking to you guys tomorrow. "Ovechkin is a goal away from five hundred. So they're starting to put things together here. Again, you don't have this feeling that they're the best team in the NHL at all. But the coming off a Stanley Cup championship. They've been laying in the weeds and they're getting goals from other places to bear kofsky gotten big goals down the stretch Verana got a big goal last night. So they're loaded. They've allied a lot on Ovechkin for sure, but with Wilson back in the fold now, I think that Washington could be poised to make a bit of a run here. And I've got them in number three number two. I knock them off the top spot only because well only because the lightning of kind of gotten hot again. But. I've got Boston at number two. I mean, they're six and four over their last ten posture knock is back in the fold had five points against the Rangers. Last night chara starting a fight. So he's rested. After missing some time. So that old body of forty I think is going to last throughout the postseason question is always going to be about the goaltending with Boston. I get it. But between Raskin if it has to be a whole lot. He's been there and done that before. So either of the two I think I'd be comfortable with in a postseason run. And obviously you want Rask to be the guy. But we'll see but loaded Carlo McEvoy all healthy on the blue line. And of course, marshawn Bergereon the get the best line going in the National Hockey League Boston the one team I got the best shot to be Tampa. And I got Boston and number two number one. Nothing to play for and they're still eight and and two in their last ten they've got a plus one hundred goal differential talked them up all year. There's nothing left to say Tampa to me is number one. I think we're going to the playoffs as such. All right. Let's hear from you at Don McGregor. Hashtag misconduct. Is we close out the week toady says why do you feel that the Taliban for tanking is different for hockey as opposed to other sports? Also, my wife thinks you have a great voice in his asked me to put the ranger game on. So she can listen glad she's getting into hockey while anything do for you Toni. I think it's great and shout out to your wife as well. I think it's not so much the mentality. It's you've got to starting goaltender right? That goaltender is going to be motivated the win. And we've seen a goaltender be the difference. We've seen it down the stretch here. Right. Jack Campbell get a chance to start against the Calgary. Flames. Right. He's he's gonna he's going to be motivated to win. He's in Calgary. And he makes forty two saves. He stands on his head kings have an awful effort. But. Campbell stands on his head and the and the kings when the game, you know, we saw that Cory Schneider. The other night, certainly the devils probably would benefit from losing sabres throw forty two shots. Adam. He's trying to make sure he can have a job next year. He makes forty one saves in the devils win the game. So I think the goal tender is the X factor here. Plus, you know, in in basketball, you've got a fifteen man roster. You can rotate the bottom the the end of your bench can't do that in hockey role. You're gonna roll your four lines guys are gonna wanna play guys out there gonna wanna just skate around and get hurt. So I just think the way that the game is structured, I think it's harder to to tank it's harder to just play kids. And and have significant players who want to add to their stats be healthy, scratches. And again, whatever goaltender is going to be between the pipes is going to be completely motivated to win especially if he he's auditioning for a job. So I think that's where it comes from J P fifty five says, I think this is a different question or. A difficult question to answer. But who do you think may have the easiest path to the Cup final? Well. Obviously the metropolitan division teams the top three avoid Tampa. So you can't say it's Atlantic team because Boston's gonna have to play Tampa in the second round or Toronto wins..

"So that's going to be a huge game coming up in Colorado and all. The coyotes fans can watch that game tonight in hopes that the avalanche lose. And then that would be a very interesting raisin. If that happens, then the coyotes would control their own destiny to be able to make the postseason. So we've got a bunch of games tonight. That are interesting games. Boston trying to solidify that home-ice advantage in the first round against Toronto. They'll be taken on the Rangers team. But before we just talk to points for Boston. The Rangers won the only two meetings. These two teams had remember they beat the Bruins just before the all star break. And then the Bruins went on that twenty game unbeaten run, and then they played again in Madison Square Garden Rangers came back from three one down one the game in a shootout. So the Rangers have kind of been the thorn in Boston side. So we'll see how things stack up tonight in Boston Leafs in the flyers Philadelphia on a respirator and Montreal and excuse me Toronto trying to catch the Bruins for second place. Flames trying to bounce back after getting shut out by the king's. They'll take on stars team that I think is poised to really be a problem in the postseason. We told you about the goal. Two nights and the avalanche. So lot of interesting games. A lot of fun want to hear from you at Don McGregor. Hashtag game is conduct. And we start with forever. THE says what's the legacy of Roberta Longo? Was it a goalie who was really good? But couldn't win the big game. Or a guy who was consistently good that you could rely on for a period of time. Also will anyone hold his massive contract against his legacy talk. Now, they won't people don't care about the contract. I think people forget about that. I think the look back at revert along go for the most part and said he was just never on the right team. Now he was in Vancouver. They went to game seven Stanley Cup final. So that's the closest he came that was the best team he was ever on. But he was on Vancouver all of his career, you know, in in the on the island in Florida now a second stint with Florida good teams. Not great teams. He was a compiler playing. It looks like until the age of forty Satistics. He's gonna go to the hall of fame. But I think because of all those games. In Florida all the all the shots, especially that first with the Panthers were it seemed like he was standing on its head to make forty saves night. I don't think that'll be held against them. And listen was that Vancouver team better than Boston? You could make the case they went to game seven got blown out in game seven. He reminds me a little bit of Henrik quizzed accept the fact that Lundquist will probably plays entire career with the Rangers where Longo bounced around a little bit. But I think his legacy will be that of like a Kurdish Joseph of in any bell for a guy the kind of bounced around compiled numbers, you know, Belfour did get a Cup, but just looked upon as a guy that just maybe wasn't always in the right place at the right time that that's kind of where I look at him. According says, hi, Don who would Dallas rather face in the first round Nashville or Winnipeg how a thing Nashville because recently they've been more vulnerable than Winnipeg. That's how I would look at it not having how they played against each other in front me. Although I didn't know do see the Dallas beat up. On Winnipeg recently, but naturals just not playing. Well right now. So I think if I had a choice be careful what you wish for. But I would probably say I would probably say Nashville the other reason for is you look at Big Ben Bishop ri- big goaltender. You gotta love what they're doing and goal. And I think the better offense of team is Winnipeg. So I would probably go with Dallas taking wanting to take on Nashville N Y R fanatic says is a hockey fan. Who would you like to see win the Stanley Cup this year? I'd like to see the jets predator sharks. And if they somehow get past the lightning the Bruins to well, listen, I don't have necessarily a favor. There are teams that I like more than others..

"This feels just terribly unfortunate almost like last year when he ripped tech muscle in spring training. It's it's it's a terrible break for him in the team. Yeah. And I'm sure you've got a chance to talk to him at one point or another. There are no degree baseball player who's a bigger bigger fan of baseball than Stevens junior. And you just devastated for him that this happened as you say just a freak injury before we go into some of the other notes I want to go back to yesterday. The Jacob degrom deal. I felt like that. Once the Mets decided not to take offers form last season. Once they hired Brodie van wagon to crumbs agent to be their general manager. They had no choice, but to get this deal done. And I mentioned in the podcast yesterday. Talked about on some of the shows yesterday morning before the news broke that in talking with agents and executives other teams. They were saying, yeah, they'll get any time because they have to they have no choice. What was your take on that deal? You know, the the reducing it to they had no choice to to me as an organization why you didn't have to do it. Now, you could have waited another year give it all that's going on giving who he is given the lack of injury given the person given the organization he's been with from the beginning. Like, I I don't look at it like they had to I think they should have all along got this deal done. And this was this natural conclusion, you know, a given what we've seen in major league baseball. And who this guy is again similar to the Padres. And the decision they made with techies if you're the Mets and Brodie van wagon is very serious about winning this. None only, you know, locks up one of the best pitchers in all of this ball. But it again, I the these messages to the organization. And the fan base are important. You could have waited you would've looked Kimsey. And they right now are fighting that reputation. Let's pay the guy of anybody on just team anyone on the team deserves a deal like this at has earned it. It's Jacob degrom. I I went out with Michael k yesterday and he and the Don McGregor. So they've been fighting with Mets fans and their point was they could Wade the year. And I just I didn't sure they could've I don't think that would have been the right thing to do and any player especially pitchers, but any player is subject to getting hurt. I'm not going to wait the year. See him win twenty games or get hurt and regret doing this decision minutes. This to me is literally no brain decision on. I would have done. It would have done it last year. That's how much I that's how strongly I feel about taking. And Carl I feel like that if they had waited let's say the Mets organization, the leadership decide, you know, what we're not gonna do that. There would have been a lot of ramifications. I think as what happened with John Lester and the cubs. This would've turned into with the Red Sox excuse me when the Red Sox low ball, John Lester, it became a competition in John Lester was pissed off. And he went forward, and it became a competition. And he wasn't going to resign there. I think it absolutely would have undercut the credibility of Brody entailing with this obvious conflict complicated issue. How would the players look at Brody moving forward in their eyes. You know, someone who used to represent us. Now, he's on the other side of fence. And I think it would have been cancerous in that clubhouse, and we've got a taste of that the other day, Noah Syndergaard. Yes, we did. And the other part of this. And I agree with what you just said..

"Career. Is that game misconduct podcast with Don McGregor and welcome one and all to the Tuesday edition of games conduct. If you live in the north east, you know, you're experiencing, sleet, snow rain terrible day to hopefully, just sit back, relax and watch some hockey tonight. Listen to the game cod duct podcast leading in to those games. So let's talk about last night or only three games, but very very eventful, especially between the penguins and the flyers Pittsburgh wins four one. I'll the flyers suffered their first loss in a million years in regulation. There are nine on one coming into the game. But the big story would obviously be the match penalty that you've getting Malcolm took in the game that ended up knocking him completely out of the contest as this was with about less than five minutes to go in third period gets tangled up with Michael raffle raffle. Punches him in retaliation, Malcolm swings. His stick blindly with one hand. And grazes raffle. Now, I love to get the reaction of fans on Twitter when things like this happen because we're all passionate, right? And the majority of people involved in hockey have a dog in the race rides. He got the penguin fans. You've got the flyer Fangio people to eight the penguins got people to hate the flyers. And usually people that hate the penguins also eight the flyers because they're in the division, and they're both considered rivals or whatever. So you hear the reaction from fans that are thinking with their heart instead of their head. All right. So, hey, ruffle punched him, what do you want Malcolm to do? All Malcolm should be thrown out of the league for what he did on neutral. Okay. And I think anybody that's listened to this podcast knows that I'm usually pretty straight down the middle. I could be as passionate as anyone, but you know, being involved with the Rangers the way that I am growing up a devil fan. The way that I did covering the islanders like I did when ninety eight seventy SPN York for started. It was back on ten fifty back in the day. I got I've dipped my in many waters in the National Hockey League. So I am neutral now, I love the sport beyond anything else. And I think I can. Look at it a little bit more. Rationally you've getting Alikhan deserves to be suspended. And I think probably a game would be suffice. All right. First of all. There was no injury. All right. Second of all. He did outswing his stick the way say Chris Simon swung at Ryan whole wig back in the day. Like a baseball bat there probably wasn't an intent to injure. It was a retaliation for being punched. Yes. In a frustration swinging his stick, but he was looking away from raffle. But he has to be suspended because you have to be responsible for your actions..

They were talking about our joins, Michael. I want your sex. I get it that when you on most songs. Yep. And now you read lyrics from songs in the passing. Oh my God. That's what that was about. Right. So why couldn't they have in mainstream like Lucy in the sky with diamonds? Right. LA drugs. Exactly. Right. I would not come out to losing this guy with diamonds either. Because of that and devil music devil music more into striper. Maybe you've heard Jerry I have now and Josh Riddick. He's a baseball player. Yes. I was now for this either. I'm really feeling like an old man today. He had a Spiderman. Wrestling themed, wedding, cool. He wore a spider man mask and wrestling belts. Good for them. That's good for you Monza would do that. Monzo. Yes, we're in a wrestling belts. Absolutely. Or like hockey jerseys? Yes, that's a monzo move. I remember Don mcgregor's wedding. He had the the Stanley Cup ice sculpture. That's cool and their song that they danced. It was devil music without. Uh-huh. You know, what's funny? He was a big Jews priest guy, very possible music. Judas priest for a long time, everyone thought was devil music. Yes. Yeah. So. Yeah. Judas priest iron maiden. He's a big iron maiden. Yeah. That's definitely devil music. Tickets today at six forty again for iron maiden and CBS Jerry has rejected a pro medical marijuana ad for the Super Bowl. Why they don't need it. I guess they don't want any part of it. And I can understand why it's controversial because they're in a no one situation of CBS accepts the ad. Yeah. People go my children are watching the Super Bowl. But they say medical just like we go emotional support dog where it's really a dog. I am Jerry. This is my partner. Al we're the we'd guys now I could see if you had four guys in a corner is smoking a joint to the music from afro, man, right? You wouldn't wanna take that that might send a bad message? But medical Merrill, medical marijuana while it's not legal in a lot of states. So again that's fair. All right. That's fair. But now. Lead. They don't take it all the pro weed people are angry with nobody cares about that. Now. And they always go to this thing. They always go, but you'll take beer ads. What we're used to be your is right now if I run a beer ad. No one's gonna go. My children are watching this ad. We're used to it already. No, one watches the it's to go. Buy beer wanna see the what the horses are. Right. I mean, honestly it can field goals. Jerry best ones ever. We do have to take a break when we come back. Who knows what Al has for you, then.

"Mafia watching this all McGregor Mendez fight going back. The SPF started air all these fights and everything and they're gonna have like twenty at least. Fight nights, or whatever on ESPN laws and everything else that new deal they got, but it's like one point five billion dollar deal. Do you think Dana will spend any time bashing FOX now that that's anything else? Spend maybe a year talking bad about how bad they suck. Now, if he'd unlike you he'd spends his whole life dedicated to talking crap about people pretty likely, especially because they focus on other things, you know, PBC in these other deals that they have so rosy something about how they made the wrong choice to spend the money on your say. What did you think of this fight? I mean, I can't believe how badly 'cause I thought Mendez was totally kinda really dominating this fight on the ground. And but I Don McGregor was still landing a lot of kicks and shot. I know he won the fight. I know this is an old fight McGregor wins. But Mendez him, right? Where he wanted him. We're supposed to find something to happen. Aldo got hurt like a week before so many stepped in with no training camp. The week of prep to fight to get ready for this fight for title came in here in the first couple of rounds. But the problem is without training camp without building up his win. He just got gas later on it ends up getting knocked out because he just doesn't have any energy to keep his hands up and protect himself. But this is what I based on. What could be everyone's talking about all. Amok tonight. Anderson Mendez can do this to him. Why can't be you know, there's no way that he has any defense that he's worked on because it's all been stand up fight since. So. Judging from this what we're gonna see against number is what happened. So is he is McGregor gonna be back in a UFC? Or is he back in the field? Like is he going to fight in the US or is he gonna keep boxing? What is he gonna do next? Are these going to be back in the because it's just not the big fights in boxing by now? The Mayweather fight was a one time deal because you can make a hundred million dollars off one fight with this guy. I don't think there's anyone else in boxing that gives that kind of promotion that gives that kind of money draw if you get him in there within that fits in his his range right now. Wait wise, are these do the AFC guys got so much juice. Eric could pretty much do whatever he wants to. We saw with him getting away with what he did. In Brooklyn, come back to fight for a million dollars diving any real penalty, a comeback, they're making money promoters, whiskey. And that's what about all these guys like mighty mouse. And then Eddie Alvarez sage Northcott all going to one how many like how many fighters desert, the AFC and go to one and go to Bella tour a lot of them. Apparently. I mean, when you don't give the fighters what they want deal wise, promotion wise, and cut of the pay per view. They're gonna go find it somewhere else. If you're not gonna give it to them away for the longest time has always been that. You know, we are the only show in town. If you don't like it shove off. So you know, you can't get better. Elsewhere world. These promotions are giving them better deals. The might not be the prestige of the AFC or have the big name. The biggest draw like most fans don't know about one lot of them. Maybe heard a belt or but don't watch mostly washed up fighters. But there are a lot of great clauses in there. And you know, what if you're getting paid more at the end, it doesn't matter how many people watching as long as you're getting paid right Duston in Louisiana. You're on CBS sports radio. Parole. I need a Jack and coke before rose sees crybaby, Chicago both. There you go. I got you. So go ahead. That's better. So you have Baltimore Ravens fan crying about. Oh, we wanna Joe flacco in the game. You know, who Joe flacco is your to pretty much dragged along with the Super Bowl ring. You wanna lie you'll have no Super Bowl ring because of rain Louis defense. No one had nothing nothing in Chicago, roasting. Corey parker. Whatever that debris the field or. Whatever. He was the main purpose for your points. And you saved a whole team money of getting destroyed in war. Give that guy's teeth because he saved all so much. I love this. Great job does then Carver high. I don't know. Like, I get what he's saying. But there was good that year. It wasn't like the D that beat the giants way back in two thousand flacco did win them some games in that run. They had the overtime game in Denver where he threw that bomb that was thirty eight thirty five game. Denver Cobi Jones. Right. That game. They went into Denver and won that game thirty eight thirty five. He put points up that day and their defense gave up a lot of points. So he went to Mack game. And then we put twenty eight points up on the pats in New England afar when week and then they the Super Bowl was a shootout thirty four thirty one the D gave up thirty one points. I can't believe that people are ripping Joe flacco what he accomplished in. Baltimore is just laugh about it's ridiculous anymore. Hear it. But that was the guy was funny. I liked him. So there you go Allen in Pittsburgh on a fan. Scotty, what's up, my friend hated? Hey, Christopher about the pain. Or do you think they probably got themselves turnaround just being of a year? They I mean is that not the most that not captain obvious. I mean, they won eight straight then they lost and they turn around and I kicked the Panthers teeth in Murray's back. He's been brilliant and Gaul they're winning. They moved right up the metro standings. They're breathing down gobbles MAC. I think you know, the answer to that question. It's obvious. Right. I mean had the penguins turned it around. I mean, Jesus honestly, really? I mean, come on you need to get him a shot of whiskey and a beer mafia Shana beers. We can drink it and go to bed. It's like a worms. I mean, honestly, dude, it's like asking me if the island is our the islanders doing all. They're doing terrible. They've only won eight of ten doing terrible. How are the Bruins? Don. I mean, they've won they've figured out problems. I don't know. I mean, I think the penguins are playing great hockey right now. Is that enough enough said, right? I mean, they went every night. Do you think they're they're finally figuring it out? I think it may not get better than this to be honest with you for them. It really may this may be the peak of their season. Let's see if they can I don't think they can they one nine or ten let's do it again. Think they can win nine at Santa again because I think this might be the best chunk of the season for them right now that that's happening real quick, Mike and Maryland. Hey, her you hated. Hey, I just wanted to mention again or expand on what you're talking about last night with how you hate the behavior of football, crowds particular sports. Crowds enrollment. I've had navy season tickets season tickets for the last ten years and based on what you said last night. I think you would be in heaven at a navy game. Because. Eighty percent of the fans in the stands or friends and relatives of the midshipmen's real family atmosphere, and they do not sell alcohol in the stadium. So everybody gets excited has a great time with the game. But nobody acts like a jerk. I think a lot of that stems from the fact that navy and the midshipmen and their values and their the way they act and behave and the military is certainly on a higher standard in a higher ground than let's say going to a ravens game and listening to the drunk screaming and Cussing and yelling obscenities and racial taunts. And everything else said the players when they're not winning. I mean, you're only happy when they're winning. And if they're losing they take it out on the nearest victim. Anyone they can they'll blame any. I mean, literally they'll beat up women. I mean drawn football fans will abuse women just as badly as men and. Children. They're they're they're the most obnoxious people on the face of the earth at navy games, you get leased have some level of class and some level of honor and dignity, and they're taught to behave differently than everyone else is that not about right? Yeah. And a lot of people says a retired navy not necessarily old retired and they're just in the habit of behaving. Well, so even if they're forty years old or seventy years older than thirty years old doesn't matter and you can show gate with alcohol in the parking lot. But once you get inside, you can only get more and more. So the lesson. Does this sports in booze has been a just an absolute Titanic? I mean, just the sinking ship, I mean, let's face backs damore booze. They give and beer too. Sports fans at sporting events. It's just a it's a it's a gateway to trouble. I mean, it's just an automatic disaster. Waiting to happen. There is nothing worse for sports than everyone loves drinking at the games. But they don't like the behavior and outcome of what happens when you drink enough booze and liquor and beer at a game. What happens to you? I mean, it's a slow steady deterioration of behavior and health. I mean, let's face facts. You drink all day for three hours before you go into the stadium. You drink another three hours during the game. You got about a six hour window of of just full on booze onto your belt. You can become an idiot very quickly. Let's just face facts. Let's stop it. All this analyzing it the more booze. You give them the more problems. You're going to have it's automatic. I mean, do you think the guy that ran out on the national championship field was sober? Do you think the guy that ran out on the NBA court tonight and the Denver Nuggets game with sober? No one that does that is sober. Okay. You don't just do that unless you're drunk. You gotta be happy. Drunk and stupid to do it. Let's do an update with Jay Berman..
