"Okay. Okay someone else in the room know well sometimes okay so you get down on all fours and you put your leg up l. with right and the I'm just do it up like that. I know right I know that one fire hydrants. Yes these are like not new thing. Then I've got a Khulumani Times. You do that up in the air. Three sets of twenty five twenty five right and then I have a power played and you. Do you do squats. What's your just do the old fashioned things and I have to confess I do zoom zoom? Oh you do it at home. Yeah I would like to see that. No okay she brings out like the silly side of Ellen Ellen in a way that a lot of guests don't we were saying like her and Michelle Obama. They don't put up with her shenanigans right. They throw it right back on her face and he just loves it it. It's so fun to watch her. As producers servers we always love when. Someone's out there and Challenges Ellen pokes her little well share shares. Very confident in who she is and what she does and she doesn't need to take any any grief from Ellen and she knows literally the opposite of me literally you see share onstage rehearsing or song and you go like my God She has been doing this forever. She is like the consummate professional knows. Exactly what to do has incredible comic timing and just it just brings it so now. Kevin had a brilliant idea that none of us thought would actually happen in which he was overdue for. We have but dr dry bar next to my favorite drinking place. Don Kuko's Lisa Industry Chip Kevin Leong Kuko's and get blow out not worried about you're going to say so. Yeah dry bars just opened and of course share play stylist and Mermaids Ellen has hair so who better better team to go and surprise people there and have them do their blowouts and Ellen and share and I was like there's no way share it's going to go with L. into the dry bar and blow hair covering the reaction to the folks in the drive bar when the door opens and Ellen and share walk into the brand new dry bar into Luca Lake it was awesome is fantastic. Share share instantly. Said yes ellen got early to do it. It was so much fun. We shot it and cut it all on the same day. I think we're putting the whole thing up on ellen tubes you can definitely see the whole thing there if he were sure. I wrote the car with share over there. And Kinda pissed her through some ideas he wanted to do and told her where we had some whigs hidden but and he was a little shaking voice and Kevin never gets nervous. A little shaky shakey celebrities. Still Shaky made me happy. It was fun. And like that's the coolest thing about our job is like Kevin Leman grew up loving share air and now he's producing her in comedy piece so it really is a cool job and it never gets old to me. Mary tell the story of Kevin Leman. I'm so glad you asked Ed so Kevin Kevin Leman came to us out of the NBC page program. He began as really sort of just a young man who was mostly straight or confused with his sexuality is surgery but yeah great. We hired him. I believe as a production assistant assistant and he was a producer's assistant. He did a number if things very quickly he became a writer after submitting some material to Alan how many years before he became a writer too so so meteoric but we were you need in the first few weeks of the show well. He appeared on the very first episode of the Ellen. Degeneres show great because he's an amazing. He's an amazing artist. Full face He became a writer he then became the head writer. And in that you become the head writer so two years in. We're starting our sixteenth season in in season. Three you became a writer and then when did you become the head writer. I think officially seasons seven long story Short Kevin is now an executive producer. Ellen made him yeah okay all right okay. That's pretty much. And he's an EP when I was young and I'm old. But here's what's interesting Ed. How long have we all been together at the Ellen Degeneres Show sixteen years? We've been here since the beginning. Yeah never never. This is really the first time anyone who wanted to hear what we've had to say. I'm not sure if they want to marry. Oh well that's the first time we're at this point we have zero listeners. Left Kev. There was such an amazing moment in that piece. There's such an incredible moment. If you know sixteen years years in it feels like everything has happened but how often does someone call Ellen a word. LYNN LOVES COMES TO TO POKE POKE POKE and push buttons and share put up with it for a while and then just unleashed a little bit on Ellen in a way that made made Ellen Laugh her head off.

No, Kevin, we are in the middle of taping our game of games yet, again, we are on lunch break and Kevin likes to feed the crew so behind the table. Kennelling Alvin is in a content review meeting currently. Yeah. Yes. And if he gets done with that meeting in time he will come in and spend a little time with us on the podcast. But if not, we, we going to push on without him, well, and I thought, what we could do since Kevin's, not. Here's we start by going around the room and each of us could talk about how Kevin's drinking as affected them. Thank you, real, Kevin. I'm just going to say, we could tell the story about being in Vegas and Kevin getting a little tipsy and giving us each one hundred dollar Bill and having us play a game on. Race to tell the story about being at the holiday party a couple years ago and there was some kind of sculpture with tequila running through it. And Kevin I left was on his knees with his mouth up against the bottom of it. I believe it was called the think it was a lose. Yep. We could talk about him having his own seat at Don Kuko's. We don't have to talk about any of these things. I'm just saying he's not here. These are things that are true that are also about Kevin. "The premise is really cool. And there's always a philanthropic component like a charitable component. And there are two people in our office. One is a lotta call their own folks who runs our branded partnerships, and the other is Ross Williams who's been on our show for ten or eleven years now who helps us secure our twelve days giveaways and stuff like that. They both really wanted to do this box. We allow them to pitch us away. This could work we then met with Ellen to review the products and we've done two so far, and they're really they're really cool. I may sell out. By the way, I have to you have to when you hear when you hear that they're available in you see Ellen talking about them on the show you have to order quickly because they do sell out. I will say this that I have to kids as I've mentioned I make sure that I have two boxes come to my house of the behind boxes. And my kids are thrilled. Every time a box comes, and they can we opened it can we open it. Can we open it? And then they unblocks these two boxes, and they always enjoy the stuff. That's in them. Yeah. They always have a good time with him. They always have fun. Or if there's something that doesn't particularly appeal to them. They always come up with somebody to give one of the items to that doesn't speak to them. Yeah. Like my kids. Don't drink coffee. The last box had Roe Ondon coffee in. Yes. So we gave the coffee away, and those people were very happy. I know how native Americans in the Navajo tribe when they would do a rug with leave a mistake in it. So that you will spirits. Oh, get out. Oh, there's a small mistake barely noticeable in the box. If you can find it. We wanted to make sure the evil spirits could get out. Yep. See if you noticed the other. Yes. Pictures of it's fun. It's all right now onto Kate Shipman who says I just moved into my first condo. But I don't know enough money to afford cable. How do I stream Ellen? Congrats on okay to go over. Pardon even someone. I would suggest to you that if you can afford a condo you Ford cable. I mean. Come on. It seems like choice, and here's what I will say to you. You you you you can't watch entire episodes of Ellen online. But we do post a fair amount of it on Ellen tube and on YouTube and Facebook, you can watch some great some great content from the show. But if you wanna watch the whole show, you have to go to your TV set in your old fashioned TV, or you know, a lot of people find a way to get cable from like a neighbor for their neighbors. You know, if you had if you had direct TV, you could get or you could get direct TV now direct TV now is is not cable and not direct TV. It is direct TV on your phone. You could maybe do that. I'm sure there's probably a way that you can get it. But it involves watching the over the air shows how and also like maybe maybe this new condos near bar somewhere in bars often have TV. And if you just stumble into the bar at around three o'clock and ask I mean, how crowded it can the Barbie at three they gotta change the channel and watch with me you can. Go to Don Kuko's, you can see a picture of Kevin on the wall right here. Your picture on the wealth. Yeah. Finally, got Kevin's corner. It's happening. It's up. Have we talked about David Letterman yet on the podcast hairs on the twenty first. So yes, David Letterman makes his first ever appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show today. It was so much fun. It was really really fun. And so on our next podcast. We'll be talking all about the experience of having Dave on our show, one of my favorite Mary moments, since I started I could not be on that show is awesome. Oh, this love study. It was it was a lot of fun..

And she knows literally the opposite of me literally, you see share onstage rehearsing or song, and you go like my God, she has been doing this forever. So now, Kevin had a brilliant idea that none of us thought would actually happen in which he was overdue for we have Dr Dr he was over to dry bar next to my favorite drinking place. Don, Kuko's, Oh, Lisa. they send us show. Kevin Lau's to leave Don Kuko's and get a blow out. Not worry about you're gonna say. So. Yeah. Dryer bars just opened and of course, share played a stylist and mermaids Ellen has Harris. Oh, who a better team to go and surprise people there and have them do their blowouts, and Ellen and share? And I was like there's no way share. It's going to go without win to the dry bar and blow hair cut the reaction to the folks in the dry bar when the door opens and Ellen and share walk into the brand new dry bar into Luca lake. But how often does someone call Ellen? Yeah. A word. Ellen loves to to poke poke poke and push buttons and share put up with it for a while. And then just unleashed a little bit Annell in in a way that made Ellen laugh her head off. Da scott. You too. No. Because like if you could reach a star, you can't really give them to somebody. It would it would be hot. You know what I mean? Like, that's doesn't make sense, right? No her. Yes. She knows me. They know me better than they know you. You know, share just had been poked by Ellen enough that share turned around and just said the b word share called Ellen a bitch in a way that was fantastic. Larry's everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially Ellen yet. Do guys follow share on Twitter, by the way. I do. She's you know, she is something the amount of emojis. She it's like my kids. Nobody uses emojis more than that woman, and she'll actually dole senses. Something mean them. Sometimes absolutely nothing. Yeah. They literally mean, I always think it's like she fell on her keyboard. That's what it looked. She and she talked about it with Ellen and about how sometimes she does a great job with it and other times, not so great. Very very active on Twitter. I don't know if you follow her. But if you do you'd know she's very active on Twitter, if you don't follow her you should and you should if you follow her. You should follow me. If you follow me on Twitter. You should follow me on Instagram. What we talking about shares tweets. Yes. So she's very active..
