"That the diversity of these creatures was the key to their dominance on her, so there were many different dinosaurs. Many different evolutions of dinosaurs and many different Groups that had like armor on their bodies. They had crest They had big teeth. Some had feathers. The avian dinosaurs. Bs survived a lot of the avian dinosaurs, the flying ones. So This is fascinating because That would mean that if there were so many diverse, different reptilian beings on this planet for 150 million years Could there have been Species of reptile. It could be seen is upright bipedal. The other questions have been whether they have been with us from the beginning, and that also they disappeared. Or they found ways to blend in with human beings, or, uh, you know, they got really advanced and they were able to You know, become technologically advanced. They somehow spun off this planet. Escape the diet. Escape the asteroid. So many theories. I mean, this is where we get into the drug Conus reptilian alien. Type of theories, right? And, uh, of course, A Z. I was reading this. I thought to myself, You know a lot. A lot of alarms were going off, especially when You consider What David? I have been talking about what Being David like famous was he was talking about? Rep. Chileans and that there are among us are there in the leadership positions of the world. And so what is interesting? Is this this new study that were that I kind of went back and looked into It sets a precedent for would be theories to make connections in history. And and the reason why I say this is because you go back to your old literature. You go back to your old mythologies. You go back to your nursery rhymes. You go back to Connection. Between What we call human history. And these sorry, and hybrids that have set out to dehumanize mankind. I mean, you've heard the U. And what we're talking about here is, you know the sari and upright walking Viper, the snake or the or the snake like lizard type. Anthropomorphic being It's outrageous to think about this, right? But if you mean you go back to biblical history Like the biblical history. I mean, think about the Garden of Eden there for a minute. Think about when Adam and Eve were in the garden. I'm sure it's better for you if you take a literal I mean, whatever you choose, literal or metaphoric. There is the story, though off what would call Apria Dominic Race of Upright walking, anthropomorphic, sorry, and beings. It existed and that may have been in the Garden of Eden normally have been predominant in the creation. And that they were competing with man. And that they were fighting with man and trying to destroy mankind. Getting that for a little bit because I mean, go back to this whole theory that you know there were diversity everywhere. And there's some people who believe that if you read the Bible, you find dinosaurs in the Bible now, I don't know if I'd go that far. Maybe we can talk about it. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not going to dismiss it because this just opens up a whole new Discussion about the possibility of ancient reptilian Upright bipedal, sorry, and beings that would be after from or fic.

"Total lie made this up made up the whole like letter and the letter had and all that stuff I said I'm being sent on assignment to you. Cover your spring training. Will you credential me. And they gave me a credential. I was just a fan known was actually sending me to do this but I figured you know might as well try to do something fun because I can't go home during spring breaking I had no friends. I mean believe me. I had zero friends and so they said yes and there. I was covering the team and in my journal I wrote. I don't know why kept journal. I've never done that before. I wrote that Frank Robinson the then manager of the Montreal Expos was sitting off to the side at one point eating popcorn with PAT mahomes. Seniors Sun on Pat Junior senior was trying out for the expos longtime reliever and junior was there. I think he's eight years old. I looked it up yesterday. Eight or nine years old at the time. And there's Frank Robinson the late great manager of the Expos in the hall of Famer Having Popcorn with junior and so I felt like that was literally feet away from him. So I don't know I felt like that was enough of a reason to root for for the chiefs anyhow. Congratulations and hope. They enjoy the celebrations. Now we had a rare off weekend in in mixed martial arts very quiet weekend but this is the last one in a very long time. We've got to forty seven coming up this weekend in Houston. Let me see if I can do this todd. My head. To forty seven February eighth February Fifteenth is Rio Rancho. That's Corey Anderson Yahu. It's February twenty second. Is the Auckland Card. And that's Dan Hooker against Paul felder. Twenty twenty ninth is the benefits in Virginia. Seventh is to forty eight with the two title fights in Las Vegas. Fourteenth is Brasilia. twenty-first is London. Twenty eighth is sharp against Ghana. And then we get to April and and then there's the the off weekend and then we get the the two off weekends to off weekends. And of course we get the Brooklyn card the title fight Habib Versus Tony Ferguson. So this is the last one that we just had the weekend that we just had the last off weekend until April. Isn't that nuts. And I just did that. I've taught my head. I'd like some sort of metal for that to get anything for this anything at all. There's nothing on computer. It's just my g mail as they knock over my Kinda McGregor toy that's it. That's all I get. I get a toy getting knocked over but just because we're coming off an off weekend doesn't mean we don't have a lot of exciting things to talk about today's show and it doesn't mean today's show is not not stacked. I just came back from Albuquerque New Mexico. I was there on Friday. I was there for Literally Twenty Four Hours Back Jackson wink. I had not been back there in five years years since that infamous interview John Jones when we walked around like some park to talk about the hit and run accident while I was back five years later state at the same hotel coincidentally. I didn't know this got there to interview John Jones again and actually the interview almost didn't happen because he wasn't feeling well. Thankfully it did happen and we got some time with him and that interview will air. They're on today's program and will air in shorter in a shorter version throughout the week on sportscenter but the entire interview air today on Today's program. This'll be your quote unquote. I look at said interview and so I'm looking forward to that and looking forward to hearing what you think of the interview. And what you think of John. Heading into Saturday's title fight against Dominic race the undefeated undefeated Dominic Reyes twelve. No looking very good in the. AFC says he's going to be the one he's the one two knockout John Jones remember last time. Dominic race was on this program. He said he predicted if he got the fight. He knocked out John. Well he got the fight. No one's ever beaten John. I still don't consider that loss to Matt Hamill loss and so we'll see if he gets it done this Saturday. Also also Valentina Shevchenko returning. It's always a treat to watch her fight against Caitlyn Kagan twenty five pound title fight and if John Jones wins on Saturday he breaks a record currently tied with GOP. Thirteen victories in title fights. They both have thirteen. He wins. That's fourteen and then he stands ends alone. Perhaps another vote in favor for being the goat. There's a lot of people think he's so there's the lineup right over there on today's program. We'll talk a lot about to forty seven and we'll give you some insight into our slate of coverage coming later this week and all kinds of fun stuff. I'm doing another radio. Show got pre show and all this stuff so it's going to be a fun week and I'm looking forward to going back to clutch city Houston Texas at three forty. We're going to be joined by Alexander. Volkov ski the reigning defending UFC. Men's men's featherweight champion haven't talked to him since his win over Max Hallway in mid December of last year remember. He suffered a broken hand in that fight had surgery. We so curious how he's doing. How's the healing process? Also of course what's been going on in Australia with the the wildfires going to get an update from him on all. Those things are more if you recall back in June of last year we had Anthony Smith on the program after his big win over Alexander Gustafsson. A lot of people thought he wasn't going to win the fight and I thought he was taking the fight too soon. After the Jones fight in March I told him that I would not bother him for the rest of the year and believe it or not I stay true to my word. He was not on the program for the back end of two thousand. Nineteen no appearances whatsoever. And so here we are twenty twenty. It was just announced. Recently that he'll be returning to action action in April in his home state of Nebraska against over to Shera. He's back on. He's also going to be a part of our coverage for U. OF C.. Two forty seven this weekend and so I thought it'd be apropos. appropos have mon.. And of course he fought John Jones last March. Dominic grace will be on talk about the big fight huge week for him. His life can change in a matter of days. So we'll we'll see how he's feeling check in with him. At three o'clock at around two o'clock we will air my sit down interview with John J-o-h-n so stay tuned for that. We had in studio November of two thousand eighteen and he was very open about where he was adding his life. So I'm looking forward to hearing what you all think of that interview at one. Forty speaking the people who have not talked in quite some time koby coming to beyond this will be his first interview since his loss to Kamaruzaman back at UFC. Two forty five. How's he feeling? How's the jaw? What's what's next? Why's he been so quiet? All those things and more we shall discuss with Colby Comington chaos coming in one thousand five. We'll be joined by Sergio Perez. Who was victorious? aureus in his belt or debut not this past weekend two weekends ago at the forum in Inglewood. So what is life like in Bell Tower. Where does he go from here? Fighting at one thirty five all those things and more but I you may recall last week on the program I was talking about how team elevation based in Colorado needs to start getting a little more respect respect. We need to be talking about this team. Sort of like how we talk about four to seven may well these guys may be further along than Ford Osama may because they have Corey San Hagan. They have curtis blades. They have have just engaged. They have jober. They have Neil Magny and they are headed up by that man Eliot Marshall the former UFC fighter and now the head coach over at The team elevations squad in in Colorado. He's kind enough to join us for the first time it's been awhile actually was on his podcast not that long ago. Now he's returning the favor for coming on my show. Congratulations to all of you guys. Elliot on the success as of late and thank you very much for joining us. Thanks I really appreciate it. Yeah you're kind enough to have me on on your show rather rather the other way no and you know what I love about. You Crystal Clear Audio connection there. The Video Watch me jinx myself now but this is how I know that your professional I mean you come you come correct you come with the goods. I wanted to make sure that you know you. You get the call from aerial you get the call to the big show so I gave my. I gave my younger fighters speech on Friday. I was like man. Some of you guys showed up late the practice and man. I know your name's not on the board for cage rounds and Yada Yada Seattle. You never know. Maybe we'll be today so you better be you know when coach calls your name you better be ready to go. Area called my name so well I appreciate that very much and again. Congratulations solutions to you in the entire squad on everything you guys have been doing. I want to start kind of at the beginning of this particular journey. This particular chapter in your life so your last flight was in in two thousand eleven. That was your last fight in the UFC was your last pro emmy fight. When did you start to transition over from profiler to coach so I have always taught martial arts lights and I've always liked so How how do you say this we? I came up through like the not quite like the first crop of guys right but the second crop. Maybe where we were coaching each other all the time like I traveled to Japan. I was coach Twain Ludwig. I went to a bunch of his stripe strikeforce fights. We all coached each other all the time so there was never really a separation I would say and then once I retired it was just right here. We go okay so you knew once you were done under this would be the next step for you. Okay so that so maybe not maybe not just this right because we have seven schools out here in the Denver Metro area area so the day so my last fight was on a Saturday night on Tuesday. I was looking at the building to purchase the where the current Denver Denver space is. Now wow and why did you retire. You are GONNA be a world champion. You know or you're going timberlake. Millions and millions of dollars neither one of those paths. Those paths were over from me. I tried really really hard like I gave it my all and and I came up short and we we come up short. Sometimes that happens and you what are you going to do. You have to take your the lessons from your attempts and you're short shortcomings and you have to move that. To whatever is the the next chapter of your life gets fighting is so hard by a universe like by fighting so hard like I mean people are giving cowboy grief right now because they're saying all this craziness about cowboy but look how he doesn't have to do that yet he you you know as Connor says he had Pani night so yeah we I mean you want offer me five you know five ten million two million three million bucks to take a fight right now share. Sign me up but that wasn't my pay grade okay and of course you find in the AFC multiple times. I believe six times were on the ultimate fighter season. Eight had a nice solid. Run there but you recognize that the time was up for you and I'm wondering as a guy who's been in the cage and has fought on big shows but also now cornering people on the biggest of shows which like you you said tough but which is tougher for you to be the active fighter in there or to be on the outside looking in and not be you know being able to prepare the flavor for the battle but then when it comes to battle you can't in too much so it's two different things right when you are young when you're when you're the fighter you are nervous for a really long time right. You had this eight twelve week camp. Whatever it is that you do where you're like man a holy Shit? I'm really scared right now. And so you're used to that and you're kind of using the nerve so like there's that hard part of it but then there's the hard but as the coach you're not really that nervous until we'll boom okay. Gotcha oh it's kind of like you know because you're like well I don't have any control over what's going to happen right now. This is this is one hundred percent. "Love these guys. I really do love them and want you all to support them. And I want you all to chest that try out. Test their stuff. Because it's really high high-quality makes you feel really good. Your your skin feels great after you use them so thank you very much to them for supporting us. T- Hasn't given me the heads up our next guest yet tickies here. Oh you haven't told me usually give me a heads up all right so I'm excited about our next guest like I said Beginning portion of the show we focused on the promotional side of things later the sponsorship sponsorship side of things we're focusing on the business side of MMA one man who has done a great job of carving out his own niche in the business world. He went from MM fighter too now manager which is a rare move. You'd think it happened more often in the sport but it doesn't happen that often. His name is Tiki Gossen. He is a former youth. CWC DC fighter now manages the likes of Dominic race and Brian Ortega and Quinton Rampage Jackson Check Congo Archer Letta great guy. Legend of the sport dare dare. I say he's kind enough to join us right now. Tiki how are you. I'm doing great. Thank you aerial. It's good to talk to you. Thank you yes yes you forgot one major part I ah fighter transition to train her then manager. That's right there was an in-between there. Yes thank you for letting me and also arguably the most famous goatee in the history of mixed martial arts with the blonde streaks in there so let me ask you. When did you decide to make the move? 'cause fighter trainer minor is a natural move. We see that quite often but furniture trainers the manager is not a move that we often see. When did you decide to make that move? So it kind of I'd tape fell in my lap around when visiting left his management back in the day Wolves letter and you know I was helping them out. I was training as well and started helping them with the communications and media anything with the UFC and him and through. That I kind of you know started to dabble a little more a little more and being a fly on the wall on many different discussions or negotiations you know ranging back to win Tito Ortiz. It wasn't You know from what we did is You know learn stuff you hear things and it's and it's a lot I it's a lot easier to To navigate through these conversations and negotiations between the fighters and and the promotion because you kind of know both sides. What's what's benefited is not just having a no bullshit type of Conversation with the promoters I get what they want. I know what the a fighter wants and sometimes you know what they what each of them want a little bit skewed in their favor of course but as long as you can figure out you know the main points and and figure out a way to make Mesh. It's it's a win win when you are a fighter. How many managers did you have? Throughout the course of your career. You started back in nineteen ninety. Data's pro ended in two thousand nine. How many managers did you have during that stretch? So oddly enough. My first manager was being away really. Yeah Yeah I four. Four M ever may fighters that he was representing. It was myself. It was John Lewis Chocolate. Alan Tito Ortiz. Wow what year was this when you started working with them. This was to two thousand. Okay how did you link up with him so back in the day we were traveling to Las Vegas to train with John. Lewis and And that's kind of like where the whole Tito Chuck Saugus started. Because you know we're all training together and John Lewis had met Dana and was kind of showing Jujitsu to the fatigue and Dana White. That's kind of how we all linked together. Wow that was the connection. And how long did you work with him for I think he was about about almost two years and then they bought the UFC and he couldn't manage just anybody. What was he like as a manager? Dana sharp he's always been he's always been a sharp business man he's always had you know he's been in the boxing game so he kind of understood. I think he managed a few boxers. There's Derrick harmon read and it was just a good experience you know it's kind of being able to see how he did it you know like I said it's just one of those things the euro round from back in the day and you just pick up things and after Dana. Did you sign with someone else. I've had a couple of different guys. I had Dan out and then after I had a Wayne Hermit helped me out of it and then after that it was bobby and so the reason I'm asking asking by. How many do you feel like your experiences? As a fighter dealing with manager is dealing with promoters but as a fighter. Do you feel like this has helped you become a better or manager and does this give you knowledge that you know these other managers that come from maybe the law world or a different sport. Just don't have they don't have that ingrained in them. It's just tough. You know right now. The the error may landscape for managers and whatnot. It's kind of like the wild wild west. I think there's not a lot of guys that have been in it from the beginning in English. Not a lot of people that understand the sport from the beginning and they think they can just come in and pushed their way through everything you know and and keep pushing keep pushing doesn't matter who they piss off doesn't matter who they cause friction with so the answer your question yes absolutely. I think there's a huge benefit of you know being able to understand Dan that and and coming from that background. What kind of relationship do you have with Dana White Now I? I've always had a good relationship identify which has been Nice. I tend to not burn bridges with anybody I like. I like. I like to stay friends. Haven't we been friends Dariel. We have yes a long time. Yes I I was just wondering because of course you have to have a relationship with you if you want to be successful managing fighters so's curious. How you navigate advocate that but you also have fighters bell tower and whatnot and perhaps what's the difference between negotiating contracts with the dominant league and the other promotions? I mean right. Now's the time and ever made it. It's kind of like back when when strikeforce was was also prominent. They what's happening happening. Now is the promotions are starting to pay comparable so what is doing. You're driving up the price which is nice. Why do you think that's happening now? I think because you know there's other organizations there's more money more money in the industry and there's you know there's competition competition breeds success. Yes yes and it gives fighters more options right and allows them to test the waters and see what else is out there. One thing that has been interesting to follow over with years was sponsorship because as you know when they instituted the reebok uniform deal a lot of fighters lost sponsorship. But I have a theory and I wanNA know how you feel about it. I feel like with with the rise of instagram. Particular fighters can actually earn more these days than they could've in the heyday of the spike TV slash sponsorship era. Because now you can you can be seen by millions of people on your instagram. have links over there and it's actually a lot more beneficial. I sponsor as opposed to being on someone's but and like you hope that someone googles you and looks you up. Is it possible that you know this era of there being no sponsorship money for fighters is over because of social media and in particular instagram. Are you sensing that as well I I am I think I think everything has transitioned into social media platforms. That's where the money's at that's where the where the fighters that's where the athletes that's where instagram influencers can make their money. It's not just you know having the the portal of the of the promotion. What's funny is you know back in the day Eh? We used to do this and fend for ourselves with sponsors. You know you'd have to go door to door you'd have to go to companies that you you liked and Kinda do it for yourself like that's what I did. I remember one of my first sponsors early I went in I knew I met. Paul Gomez was the marketing director and I had to go in there and and basically hustle for myself so so doing this from so long ago has helped me. And it's actually shaped me into being able to acquire the deals for for my athletes. So like at your peak. What's the most you've got? As far as sponsorship is concerned for a particular fight for particular fighter no particular fight like at your peak. was there a certain fighter jet. Just to get a ballpark. You want to you. I'd love to know Oh to and to come on really two and two. Yeah what that was on the pay per view you portion of the card. I know so when I hear you know when I hear guys you know athletes and that's one of the other reasons that I I choose who I work with. I don't just say I'm not just going to take on anybody I got you know I. I go through an interview interview process. I got to talk to them. See if they're down to earth because because I mean they have a good right now athlete fighters have it good and and everybody feels that they need. They deserve all this money but at the same time. It's you know I see it from the promotion emotion standpoint too. It's like okay. Well show me. Why are worth up So we tune to. What's the most you made for a fight? What is the most I made for a fight right? I think it was. I think it was strikeforce. I Made Twenty to fight Luke Stewart. Okay your second last fight in two thousand eight just twenty flat for ten and ten zero It might have been tended to my gosh and and for so for sponsorship. You're probably making nothing right. You're making you know the show. Wow so so now you see what the guys are making now and party. It's like man. I wish I was fighting. In this era I mean like to be a champion but like mid tier fighter that they're not making that always. I always think about that. And then I'll put like you know couple of training sessions together and I go okay. Screw that idea right. Well you started coming coming back. This shit hurts. Yeah I thought about it. You think about it all the time but you know being a fighter and coming from that world yeah you get rich every once in in a while. Let me ask you being with a fighter like you build up a fighter you invest time. Money effort you're helping train them. Negotiate contracts checks things like that and then they leave you. What does that like? It's part of the game you know from from the BF. Seen it from the beginning. I've seen people leave manager eggers. I've seen a Lotta you know there's this there's an entitlement some of the people some of the athletes you work with. Don't really know what you do for them. And they don't understand so you can't really really blame them and there's no sense in you know it's actually a client crying over spilt milk. You just Kinda you know. Let them let 'em transition. Okay no problem here you go. Oh you know you can't hang on to everybody so you with an athlete for a certain period of time you do the best possible where he can't for them and either they like like what you're doing and stay or they think the grass is greener on the other side and they take off. You have a contract with them or can they take off whenever they want. No of course you'd have a contract back with them and they'd have to settle up the contract before they leave. But okay what I'm saying. Is You know just you know it's not like you know back. In the day you get managers trying to strong-arm their athletes and keep them there right off and whatnot. And what about recruiting fighters says one thing that I hear about a lot is like this trying to poach that guy and this guy's trying to take my guy away in this and and what's your stance on that is it fair game or do you just wait for someone to come to you. Yes thank you for for letting me and also arguably the most famous goatee in the history of mixed martial arts with the blonde streaks in there so let me ask you. When did you decide to make the move? Because fighter trainer minor is a natural move. We see that quite often but furniture trainers the manager is not a move that we often see. When did you decide to make that move? So it kind of I'd tape fell in my lap around when visiting left his management back in the day Wolves letter and you know I was helping them out. I was training them as well and started helping them with the communications and media anything with the UFC and him and through. That I kind of you know started to dabble a little more a little more and being a fly on the wall on many different discussions or different negotioations you know ranging back to win Tito Ortiz. It wasn't You know from what we did is You know learn stuff you hear things and it's and it's a lot I it's a lot easier to To navigate through these conversations and negotiations between the fighters and and the promotion because you kind of know both sides. "Now, I'm walking, like one forty three so I have I have continuously put on weight, and, you know, interviewing the fighters yesterday who are in the middle of their way, cut, you can see just how physically drain, they are clear actually making predictions based off of how they seemed how their demeanor was how their physical appearance was when they came to talk to us because there were a lot of guys that were struggling. And, you know, big, John, he was saying that the it doesn't matter. If you are bigger than your opponent, if you're the bigger stronger guy, if the other guy is feeling good from not having to cut all this, way, and is, is faster has more speed. That's. The guy that big John's thinks he's gonna win. So. Yeah. There were there were all and there are a lot of their several fights actually that one guy was coming up for the fight. I think it was the Dudas. Yeah. And then one more there's one more. But, but anyway. Oh, crazy Darren, because we're used to fighting one twenty five. So, yeah, he he wasn't. He had like three pounds and he's just cruising. So. Yeah. I think it's a good call for Chris to go up. Sure. I mean that's a law about obtains, right? If your your body starts to get conditioned to think that it's dehydrating every single time it'll try to hold onto as much water as possible. So every time you try to cut weight. It makes it harder and harder and harder for you. It's almost like when you yoyo for weight loss and your body thinks that it's going into some type of survival mode. So that's why when when you see fighters that used to cut wheat so much, weight as a kid, and then they go into their later years, they just have more and more of a difficult time doing it. So, I think trying to fight closer to your natural weight, especially as you're getting up there in years, are really is the smarter healthier Wego. I'm going to be answer is not an excellent call. But just a reasonably decent one. Here's why I don't. Hard for me to know how much of a problem solver it is. So actually spoke to Ray Longo, and he was like, don't get me wrong the cuts or bad. But they're not terrible for Chris. You can make them. Now, here's the thing, any amount of less weight, cutting twenty pound difference rights, one in five to five. I mean that's I monster. Jump to me. There's no way he doesn't derive benefit from it. So I'm going to say good call. But in terms of what has ailed him and what has set him back. I do think that middle. It's a little hot right now a little bit younger. He wants to go to headway with a little bit older. Although there are some names pushing people out to Dominic race and so forth racket, so I think it'd be beneficial, but you mentioned Anthony Smith. Anthony Smith didn't just change classes. He been with a new camp for a couple of fights here and they have really sharpened him. I'd like you can't watch that gust of five billion. Oh, that's the same due to a SaaS, totally different guy. So the question is, is that kind of jump capable where you don't have to put in road work too? The amount of weight and you can just focus in on the techniques you can stay healthy, and you can work on the, the fight plan. Maybe maybe, but I'm not going to be like, oh here we go Carol, but with Luke Rocco those cuts were murdering graph older person. He's huge..

"So go the way that was really the only fight where the talking about on his card in my pain. No, there's another fight the Komeda them with courage miglin's. Aaron is a he'll go Santos. Because I get scary though, Santos as a welterweight people are paying attention to them, but junior they'll Santos on the other hand, he's still it's just put himself back into near title contention in relatively thin division. Look, man. Derek lewis. He's a good fighter. But he's like Dominic Brazil. It's like he showed up. He got his title shot there Lewis. He's fun to watch. He's had some comeback wins. I expect him to get knocked out the way he did. Whatever dare you did have a submission. We that having which I did not expect outside of that. Like, okay, I came for a heavyweight knockout. I gotta heavyweight stoppage. I'm good with that this weekend. You have seen London is the card over the pond headlined by Darren till and he's still in position the UFC show that they're still behind this kid. They they built Woodley stopped up mental to dead stop. But I mean, he's far from jumping down the ladder gets another chance to prove. He belongs in the top five top three of this weight class the fights. I figure we'll talk about dealt with start Volkan Ozdemir perso- Dominic race. I mean, it's undefeated coming into this fight. I'm not sure what OSA Amir also has that had that mazing run right Cormie kinda stopped him in his tracks. And I'm not sure if he gets back to that low something seems off no undue dare great raises real Dominic raisins real deal. He's one of like three. Guys where up and coming in a division in that division specifically who are scared. Yeah. Stomach rates. Johnnie walker. The two guys that everybody's tend to focus on but Dominic. Reyes is. I mean, he's just he's too good. And this is true test. You know, vulcano some areas guy. Yes, he had a title shot. He ran through a bunch of guys. Cool. "I think the winner of that fight might make sense rapunzel next as well. Or the loser of that fight knowing that if it was meant wins. He's probably just going to wait to probably get his shot at the title after Woodley and Covington. So yeah, there's some moving parts at one seventy, but it is interesting puns Anita just through his name right in that mix. Is there? Any now is there a Woodley Covington date or any rumblings about that? Because I definitely think Kobe deserves the next shot at Tyronn yet. There's no there's no rumblings about that. And you know, that's it's not a confirmed like definitely next shot or whatever. But you know, Colby had the interim belt tiring just defended his belt. There's a lot of bickering and stuff. So I think it's just you'd think that that would be the next up. But I know that Woodley after his fight in September meet at some sort of surgery or something like that. Or he was going to be on the shelf until early twenty nine thousand nine. So I think they're still trying to plot out when when that belt on the line next and Johnny Walker very very impressive against. I mean who who saw Khalil Roundtree get knocked out in the first round. Yeah, he was a favorite to like Johnny Walker and athletic dude, who was six foot six at two five like if he can if he can continue to put it together that guy is really really dangerous and in that division, and you can win. Three or four fights in a row and being a title shot. We will solve news Demere do it last year. So she gets another gets another few opportunities and makes quick work. That guy could be a rising star. That is true. Don't forget though with who's demeer Gustafsen was out and Jones was out too. Now, those guys are back. Absolutely. What do you What do think? you think this? But it is a been division. It is. It's getting a little better though. I'm Dominic race is getting more and more exciting to watch. Lear Latifi, of course, and Smith Anthony Smith is really a number three. Now, who do you think this guy Feist desk because again shogun is fighting Tyson? Pedro so who did they give Johnny Walker to next because he's young impressive win. Yeah. He was impressive. I don't think he gets ranked opponent next. I don't have a name. I can't I can't think of somebody off the top of my head. I haven't actually thought about that. But I think that he's maybe I don't think he gets ranked guy next. He'll get maybe one or two more fights outside of the top fifteen. And then, you know, if he wins those two that he's probably looking at being ranked himself, and then they'll start putting them against him opponents with numbers and. Yeah. We'll just see how it goes. I think that obviously it was a good result or whatever. But I don't think them right into it that was his UFC debut. So sometimes they'll put them against other guys to see how he does in different settings different scenario. So we'll just have to see. Yeah. Maybe you're right. Because I again, Khalil Roundtree is not type top fifteen either. I I said oh SPA gave next. Maybe you're right. Maybe they won't. Yeah. Probably not next. I don't think that that. He's that high yet. I think that he absolutely could get there, and you know, might not even take them that long to do. So, but yeah, probably another opponent or to outside the top fifteen unless it's a short notice or. Filling in for somebody. Yeah. What? Now, what are you? What car? Do you do in next? Did they tell you? How far in advance? They tell you what you're doing all year. Yeah. I know. Yeah. I knew I know I'm doing the ultimate fighter finale and that'll be my last play by play for this year. Okay. Because then after that's kind of big show, then we got the pay per view in Toronto, which John will do Milwaukee's network show. And then in Vegas is one to one of the biggest fights of the year. So John Michael handle, those ones, I'll get the ultimate fighter. Finale this one. What have I done? I did Moncton than I had a week off. And I did Denver Blaine us IRA's. Now have thanksgiving off. And I'll do I'll do the ultimate fighter finale four and six is pretty a pretty busy stretch on my calendar. So then I'll get some time to relax after that network..

They can express that Plum clinch, they they're gonna have an advantage over show to pace. And now again, it was just as I fight Chris or second. It was another guy again off that contender series, which is tremendously. Great avalanche just of seven inch reach. Yeah. And he's six five six. So here's the question who does he fight that guy who do you think? Oh, man. Lay heavy. He's not ranked. I mean, look do I want to see him fight. Dominic race. Yes. I know maybe a little soon to be calling for that. And race is not gonna wanna fight it unmatched fight unranked fighter. Who who do you? Give them to give them open Saint Pru. Ranked number ten very dangerous guy who do you give this guy that man? I wish I had those things are in front of me. I can just look at that thing. And just go. But I'm trying to think I'll give you a few names. Matt starting with number nine from nine down to fifteen because he's not going to get anybody. Come. I'll start from ten ten is OS p eleven is global to Shera twelve Michelle Surkov thirteen show gun fourteen Tyson. Pedro. Fifteen kita. Kyla? Yes. Chris Tyson patriots coming off a loss. I think against compare dro-. I would like that. Always scrappy gonna make 'camorra he lose to. Though, he's fighting shogun. Okay. So Tyson shogun, so maybe fun of SPF who I say, that's my guess OS P against Johnny Walker. We'll be next. Johnny Walker is a fun fighter to watch. And a guy who comes off an amazing first round weight of a guy like Khalil usually gets a D N fight next. I'm going to say, oh, S P next fight. Let me ask Christopher news. How old is this kid? I if he's young he's twenty twenty six twenty six right? I might Supra. I like that. How do you do tend to series? Remind me. I think it was a unanimous decision win. Excuse me. August. Good to get some new blood in them. And I like that. That's a welcome addition. That's really the one developing new fighters when Colin today guys. Yeah. Impressive fight. He looked great. Didn't he take the fight show notice? Yeah. He did November ninth. Thank you. Against us. Who's he's supposed to fight? Let me replace. Short notice some breeze. He was going to fight Tom breeze says over ADA was. Beast man that kid is a beast. I'm expecting big things from that kid that Ford, Ian what? Heinisch and he's twelve in one. This was again UFC debut. Yes. A lot of debuts last night or. I'm sorry guys. When did he lose? I don't have. Tell you the minute sweep I hold on. Why he was so impressive wire was so impressed with him is I'll tell you. He was doing the right things. He had well coin cake down, and he was. The right way. But yet he wasn't having it. You just wasn't having it. Yeah. He was he was getting past the right way. He got back off. He got taken down again, he got and he was threatening with nice guillotines that that I'm sure they can work the kinks out, but he went from some bad position. And he was relentless. That's what happened with the closer fight. And then then it really looked in other words in hat him. Like he was like he was egging amount with Caesar was fighting tooth and nail. And he was he was trying to bald off. He just that kid was just relentless. And by that third round. He didn't rake him because Caesar was was looking at. He was well prepared and puffing up the hanging there but shit man, that's a fire around. I don't think he's getting through it to show off. Kidding? And I was I was super impressed with him to answer your question. Matt he lost. It was the first round submission arm. Triangle in September of two thousand seventeen to a guy named Marcus Peres. But when you look at his wins, he's one with a TKO and then he had like four decisions in a row submission. He wanted he wanted the unanimous decision another submission he wanes and then three knockouts in a row. He seems to be able to beat you every way he's more likely to knock you out than submit you. But he has a pretty varied way of winning. What's his background?.

"My dad had twenty two twenty two. I think we have still shocked. Listen to show that the branch on every remember you've got one more come on. And you got on your shoulder say no to, that's just amazing. Even bring y'all ready? Yeah, he is in the garden man naked grape by men to have right it is at all fight. I'm so excited. Somebody could fights coming up. What else we got. We listen. This hippies fight is exactly it's Tober twenty seven. It's the main event who's Demere of course against Anthony Smith and you're fighting up in New Brunswick, Canada, good luck, man. I really, really want no disrespect Tuesday me, but I've really watched him fight for the championship. I would love to see you get up there. Watching you fight. Dominic race would not suck will be really fun to watch. So there's a lot of really good fights for you if you win this unless you happen to step in and fight for Jones Augusta Senate, they don't make it. So I like the way you think. Governor Gray as match up to that kids. Super tough. And now he's rates pretty high, bring me now. So I like it, man. I no matter what you guys have to worry about me. I'm not going to be the guy sitting out waiting on on something to come to me, man. I'll just go out and get it. Now you don't see that. Will you've very hungry. Absolutely. Absolutely. Either way I'll be back with summer. All right, buddy. Will I would love to talk to you again and I always enjoy watching you fight and good luck against against volka October twenty all best. Anthony. You gotta brother. All right. Take care. I like us a Mayan hall. I do too. I like he's a friend of show now like he's even those guys were not me. I don't take it personal David, you know, we, we used to fight in the cage. He still does demons and I lose. I lose horribly. I'm a week, man, David. Maybe branch deserves that he's in studio. Let's just give them the old. Fucking shit feel like, are you leaving your your? That's right. Blame operator era. Blame the fucking talent, ready. Just touching a move your now. I don't know that worked perfect. It did. Let me think average the produces all these fucking snootiness. Matt's fingers by the problem. All right, Chris, the point out in front of company that anyway, David good to see you me of Matt feeling now. I'm feeling great. Now I remember when your last match is when you you laid out, is that the ten? Does any people underestimate? Sorry, Matt, underestimate your ability to to put somebody to sleep? Probably I called that shit. I'm not saying I don't want to cut you off right there, but we we here since then. I don't have not. I think we talked to you on the phone. Maybe you haven't been in and we've played, we played the clip. You do not have ready. I don't blame you. Why would you have that ready? I mean, I mean, I called, I mean they the mystic, MAC. What about mystic? Math? I predicted a first round KO. You know what I mean? I predicted that shit because I knew that David learned from a little mistake of clinching lucrative that fight with dude. I don't want to bring up a, but it's what makes us who we all ran into a fucking back this a couple of them he had. It looks so chubby there. I looked a little weight, but listen to this. This is this is what this is about. We don't pray. The play, don't play. This is when they're about the interview me. And again, it doesn't always go back to this Jimmy. But right here in this clip, it's when I found out. I was just got into the hall of fame and the press wants to know how feels Jimmy sure to.

"Man, I thought that was really good fight. I thought Pettus made a dumb move in go into the ground after he hurt. In clearly hurt Elka Kuwait. He went to the ground and try to ground pound ended up breaking his hand and the fight change. Make him stand back up. You now have the vantage. He's clearly rot, finish it on the feet. I like that move by Anthony penance at all, and I think it turned the fight. And then you know, you can't come back out because the broken hand to the second round the fight. Even at that point, if not ten, eight for pencil, he's gonna get a draw at the worst. I, it's a rough way to go up because I think he gets a drought doors that's that's probably attending route not. It's not real. You'll know trade around ten rounds could even conic that was material that's very almost finish. So. You say it will just isn't? It wasn't. It wasn't that one-sided like it wasn't as one way traffic type fight yet. Got it was a close fight. And I mean, Pettus made a good account for himself. But you know, it's like I said before, it's like when a guy's is we're Pettus conditions going to be a problem, and Tony Ferguson is going to outlast you, but he's not a guy that goes out easily. He just doesn't stop coming. And that's kind of what he did in Pederson break his hand. He problems going to lose third, ran lose a fight, but the fact that I mean, it's kind of like a silver lining, like he breaks saying, he's gonna be out for minute, but he's gonna get a big fight when he comes back, no, telling against who you know it's going to be interested now because the whole lightweight visit an absolute mess. Once again, so we'll, we'll see, we're all this stuff goes, but you know, Ferguson put us right and position like he deserves the next to fight like, that's it like this. The rematch forget all that. Don't do that to Connor put Ferguson. What could be that's the only rather UC's consider going if could be decided to stick around because threatening to quit if his team gets fired. So the data's not gonna fire at this point. I think he's Kabaeva house collar. He got the road from Gregor and he has a pow. So all time pay per view record. You need Connor and could be at some point and could be can't walk. So Dana going to back down, it's the image was still running this island about the money. My man all about the money. It's a good look. I mean. You know. I mean, we'll talk about at length about the bra in a minute. There was also Dominic race with the which would seem like the walk off last minute. One hitter quitter against Vincent Peru, but she was. They rob with that knockout us. I think the only issue is Dominic Reyes, woodland point and swarmed him Burghley out with probably stuff to fight the fact that he just kind of turned around then then allows the the last, the buzzer to sound, whatever. Michael visting there. Jump on. It just happens. Not cost you fight. I mean visually in, you know, if you jumping on a guy who's hurt, that's how you finish them off, but either way I told you raise as good as the good. Yeah, they need new new life center. Because it's going to be on his way out. We'll talk about the media, the division here in a little while, but they need a new breath officia. Yeah, they definitely doing raise is that guy, hopefully Russia. I mean, this was this was a huge set. You only have so many more steps, but hopefully take those steps between him and Anthony Smith who's got a Ozdemir next again, those next Smith and in Dominic rates in the future delight division. So I mean, you got two guys probably will compete for a title next year. That's not bad. That's pretty much all of the fights on under car. We could talk about the actual fight in the main event before we get into the ruckus. Some more could be versus Connor. Could be wins fourth-round. Submission..

Right? Right? I beat them. They have a rematch maybe I beat him again. They beat me that we have rematch and beat them again. Now that conversation is like, okay, these are the best. This guy be the best guy twice. So where does that put me? Know what I'm saying? All right. Well, first things first, it's this Saturday UC two Twenty-nine. "And also he is one of Habib's training partner slash coaches over at the American kickboxing academy. So good to talk to the cornea one. Forty, five to Aspen lad about her fight UC to twenty nine against tiny, Evan jer. She hasn't fought almost a year had the weight issue in April against or before her fight against Leslie Smith. What is she doing to rectify that to avoid that Aspen lad is still considered to be. I think one of the bright young stars at one thirty five in the women's division, and this is a big opportunity for her Dominic race is one of the bright young stars at tool, five in the UFC. He's on the main card. It gets over in Saint prove, massive opportunity for the undefeated Dominic Reyes. We'll talk to him at one thirty and finally in firstly, we'll talk to Douglas Lima in a few minutes about his win over Andrei Koresh cov on Saturday to kick off the Biltmore welterweight tournament. And now we know that there is a million dollars at stake in this whole tournament courtesy. Of fifty cent fifty aka Ferrari. Now, before we get to our first guest of the day, a quick update because one thing that was amazing to me over the past week was that we were inching Oso close to see to twenty nine. However, all that I was getting questions about for the majority of the week was have two thirty. And I think this speaks of the fact that we just want information information. What's next? What's next? What's next? But everyone has been wondering everyone has been asking what is going on with you of see two-thirty. That of course is the event at Madison Square Garden on November third, which is main eventless. And last I checked in that remains to be the case. And so. The original plan. One of the original plans was to have John Jones on that card did not come to fruition. Now they're targeting John Jones. His Alexandersson at UC to thirty two on December twenty ninth, but it was an interesting road to get to that point because mid last week they actually offered Alexander Gustafsson annual Romero, an interim light heavyweight title fight on the condition that Daniel Cormie and John Jones would fight at heavyweight on December twenty nine. Both of them do not want to fight each other at heavyweight for various reasons. They wanna fight each other at light heavyweight. So you have see could not make a light heavyweight title fight on December twenty ninth also that timing did not work out for Daniel Cormie and then have an interim title fight a month and a half before that. So they scrapped the idea of Korea Jones. They scrapped the idea of Gus in Romero. They moved Gus of sent to December twenty ninth Romero now no longer in consideration for November third, and they remain main eventless. They have tried to go down different avenues. None of them came to fruition. So as we sit here right now, Nate the as a both campaigning. The fight in the main event, the US's sort of initially reluctantly not really wanting to engage because there's no tight online. They don't wanna do the sixty five title. Both of them have said they'll fight 165 even without a belt and the UC just does not want to create that precedent. They don't wanna create that belt. And so the whole thing is at a standstill and we're five weeks out less than five weeks out. It's it's, I guess, a little over five. It's it's November. Third, today's October, first, November, third, that's like thirty three days. If I math is correct. So every two seconds people are asking me who's made eventing who's made of thing I know knows and this is on their face. This isn't. This isn't just some arena in God knows where this is Madison Square Garden. This is the mecca. This is the world famous Rena..

So what the maybe pull some more though sheets and those do rotate, but still in the end, you just want to watch the sports. You can definitely go up there and ask for us or get the sheets and have them in front of you. Looking to vote as long as you're not standing in line, you can be looking at your phone. Or your ipad and least know what ballpark you looking at minus a point or half point or two. So that's the best thing they could have done and guess what I'll call you guys in Dane done. They're done for now. It just in time for football, but they're not done. And I think you guys are gonna like what you see. Well, he also has a fight coming up here in Las Vegas on the number made off and McGregor card. It's Dominic race, but he played college football, so we'd like to pick his brain in regards to that as well. So it's gonna be a fun show here on a Thursday goes, is that was coming in.
