"It in the d dot com does a favor. Give us a like on the socials in. Subscribe to his everywhere. Find podcasts are sold. So there's two things that'll patrick. You said you didn't watch these shows. But i need dive into these real quick. A i want to start off with human might intimidated things. I've been looking forward to all summer and randy. I don't know about you but i'm I'm kind of with the internet. And i am angry with with how they portray l. bread human angry under not a super impressed with this version so far but we only have five episodes so hopefully picks up a little more. So i mean spoiler alert fast forward for two minutes. If you haven't seen it yet you want to. So let me get. Let me get this straight humanit. Skeletal die like in the first episode. You follow around teela and her new friend for the entire episode and then skeleton was sitting in evelyn's little staff the whole time and prince. Adam comes back. We don't know why and then he dies at the end in. Skeletal has the power and has the power gray skull and the cut print. And i guess kevin smith is getting absolutely destroyed on the twitter's he's actually answering back Because people are super angry that the you know it's not not my he-man they're getting. They're getting nostalgic and to be honest. I'm not really that angry. Just i'll be honest. Lost my attention. I was fading out after a while. last episode five was kind of awesome with the whole skeleton thing. I like to twist but it just not having humanity. Human was kind of not he man. Yeah i i think that is more the thing to be angered out. I don't know if i would call a bait and switch. But not having he man in a show called hunan or about human is a little bit rough trader masters of the universe and not human but the trailer was like all human. But that's only from episode one. And then anyway i need to. I'm gonna not rant. Because i'm appreciative. That they're putting out new content of things that i like so i'm just gonna try to do what i say and act like a child and like it don't like that they keep like interrupting when they're about to reveal. That teela is the sorceress his daughter. It just keeps cutting off literally. Have something important to you first. And then they never get to the important bit so i was watching a guy does ranting about it on youtube and he did a side by side of teela and dolph lundgren in the movie he man and like how other ripped the same size because they it's like they took dolph lundgren. They put teela's head on her body on his body. And when you look at taylor like she's like bodybuilder rip with whatever find but like they were saying like she's bigger than longer which is kind of you know but anyway i digress. Have you been watching sexy. Beast on netflix. No no absolutely not. I saw patrick. I know you said you. Didn't i saw the trailer and i was forced. I watched five minutes of it..

"There's so much more to talk about today's program. He man he meant has returned with humana. Revelations the kevin smith spectacle the animated series. That's now going to appear this weekend on netflix. And we'll talk about netflix in the second because they shared their numbers and some interesting little tidbits on that. But and i think i was on with you when when i talked about the trailer because you actually broke down come on share your thoughts church. Remember when we were going to therapy right here on the show a couple of weeks back. He told me on the couch. And you were just like answering like you're the analyst going you know. I want you to speak your mind. Speak your mind gerald. Speak your mind on me an revelations. I think you might be the foremost authority. When it comes to the he man stuff you know so like when you watched it back in the day. But i was already a teenager by that time i mean rob mccallum our good friend here the show award winning director and guy that's going to be directing. The upcoming documentary faking film which touches on a lot of human subjects. He's the expert on it. But it's something that. I am familiar with over the course of time. I did watch originally back in the day. The horrible dolph lundgren live action film. Which is now considered a camp classic. There's been several attempts to try and get back to live. This of any is going to probably be the most high profile. Because it does have kevin smith's name behind it and a lot of big name actors involved with it again for me. I love mark hamill one of the greatest voice actors of all time possibly the greatest voice actor of all time and i think if he ever retires. Joker you need to retire joker. That's how our agrio on that and he doesn't play a bad skeletal you know. And that's the thing i want to say. But when you have alan oppenheimer in there who is original voices skeleton for and he did a couple years ago. A rock in geico commercial. Catch alone.

"But he said that he was hiding because he just smoked a blunt. Do you guys believe there's more or less story that John Dodson was living underneath there. I was like the Smurf Village. Yeah. Yeah, so that's insane, dude. How do you spell Nathan that's true? Right? That's still man. Okay, I never liked him. I know he scares me off even find was I think he got taken to the edge with a couple of Fighters. And now he doesn't look as sharp to me. He doesn't seem like he's at sharp to me now. Yeah, it's crazy. But outside of testing will do. Yeah. I like John Jones as a fighter, but first name is outside would be just made some real ship decisions and it's kind of a on these, shithead playing the part off it up since he's been around so that's not really anything new to me. Honestly. I think you can separate it like as a fighter. Yeah, but I just didn't get up. He's been fuk it up since like 2010 when he wrapped that fucking car around the pole to hookers in the blemish it. Yeah. It's like just boneheads in for them before that. So it's like he might be a sociopath also. Yeah. Is me do it looks like he's fucking wouldn't care about killing like a 20 people or something like that. He just looks insane. Yeah shelter Skelter how I call it. He looks like yeah, I'll fucking bough my tab a on the forehead. I don't get like Joe Pesci in Goodfellas when you know when he was joking or not when he when I woke up I could see JoJo shooting spider in the foot like like you can't see that happening like this guy you going to let this guy fucking make fun of you know, yeah that movie. I just want that's crazy. You said that I just watched that and casino and like Goodfellas Goodfellas and Rocky are like two movies that whenever they're on if I'm flipping the channels. I have to watch it like yeah, there's certain movies. Like I have to I can't like no matter how far the rocky to maybe and I like the song. I think it was a Drago that memory of choraphor was the best that was for I think three or four, I think three is the first male Australian 4 is when we beat him the funny part. So Drago Hostess rewards last year right. Line and became friends. He's the nicest guy ever and I was I was trying to teach him jokes. He like he would and he was doing all the jokes, but he wanted to bring his own jokes had nothing to say and I was like, he was like a legit kick boxing though. He'd be dead leg take care of and kickboxing. Yeah, and and he's a nice guy ever but like he was nervous. I had to go pick up my wife from the airport during before the show started. I start getting texts going going home going Dolph Lundgren means you right now like I never thought I'd have that like text talking in my like like this comes out. Yeah. So like if you guys you guys suck so I gave I gave him a joke, right and even know he didn't really know who the guys were. Oh, hey Google. Hey Tony focus is here, you know nice to see that you're here with all seven of your home. Holidays or something like that, right so fucking or like several the voices in your head a game is some joke and then everyone got mad at him. They were like fuk U Dolph Lundgren like and then but Ferguson what he's like, I'm going to ankle pick you he was kidding or he thought was funny but like everyone was like, how dare Dolph Lundgren the guys got me? Well, you know, Tony Ferguson was it was it was like Anchorman when he's reading the thing off on the prompter. He had no idea what he put on there. Ya know what happened know but like if you if you look at it this way a lot of times like when I was so happy for you to even get that that was like y'all was fukn dope. I thought you were going to get the the one with the the sex one. That's the one I o a d m o s a b n. I thought you were going to host a hard thing to post man. Like they went with all girls now hosting it cuz I remember when like, they would tell who people don't realize how good they would tell was a comic light off. Hotel at one point was like people think Bill Burr is now that was what Dave Attell was to the comic. Yeah, we know we know that but I remember David's eyes love this show is insomniac. Yes, even like the funniest like there was a point where every comic in New York was doing Dave Attell like it was that good of a comic store with him in London, but me hath SE K and I had to protect him. I'm not bullshiting you each time because he was talking shit about people living. Oh, yeah, your women are ugly your teeth suck and I'm like after that people don't know the difference there like we're going to beat him up and I was like, I need him for the rest of the story. I literally was getting his scuffles with people to prevent them from being David town was like I used to walking like I live in New York, I go to the bathroom of a bar just to use the bathroom like to and afternoon Dave Attell be drinking by himself. Like he was like that like any book a random Pub would be David L, but they have a talent. I was hosted the ABM And nobody was paying attention like like nobody it was all pornstars coconut in mind and I just don't look out in the crowd and Go dreams. I just thought that was the funny thing is like the other thing I was going to I was going to ask you guys cuz I personally again the fights that are coming up. The reason I asked you about Goethe. I got em a Twitter, you know, like when you get up go back and forth. I was like, oh it'll be two or three jobs people were like, fuck you date. She's going like an illusion this I said, I'm allowed my own opinion on the fucking fight. I think I should have called the guy a bitch shut up bitch and then it just makes it and to the point where I was like, I might have to block this guy like he's that much of a complete list of arguing until the fight happened, you know, I know but I know all I said was who I was rooting for that who I am too fucking win. I mean you get in line with the other bitches and like right then I was like, What and it said yeah, he's going to fucking lose. He's going to get mauled I said, you don't know that and then it would literally back and forth. Well when baseball went been slaughtered Dagestan a guy your whole feed was like rushing off in Sultan you right? Yeah. Yeah, I take it personal. Oh man, I guess and he's like that's like their LeBron James dude, like six years is like people are probably going to be riots like the cold country probably didn't burn. There's no other sports there. I mean, that's that's their only sport. He's they they they Revere him like that whole bigger than the Brown James like bigger than a bunch cuz we're like, maybe that's what I got was so mad at me. I thought I hope I don't run into this motherfuker. It's going down. Like it literally got to that point different level jobs. Make sure that I get some low kicks in before. I takes me to the ground cuz I'm serious man. I did not know he was it's really like that. It's bigger. It's raised Iraq. Out.

I'm actually seeing somebody right now, when they're mating rituals begin customers of the Penguin encounter experience will be asked to shoot up in custom penguin wet suits that will allow them to blend in more easily. No guests are welcome to simply bring their own tuxedos from home From then the week we'll start with them watching various films that properly highlight the penguin life, including Mr Popper's Penguins, Happy Feet and Batman Returns, starring Danny DeVito. Yes, won't be leaving empty handed, though at the end of the week, Every visitor has given them video montage of their experiences that week, narrated by none other than you guessed it. Morgan Freeman, a program at a Pennsylvania aquarium. We get to go and be a penguin. They seem like they'd have a lot of fun. Your next story of a splashy new trend comes from Amy Dickinson. People love dolphin encounters. They love to swim with them, pet them and play with them in the water. You know who hates it, though dolphins enter the robot dolphin. A San Francisco developer has made a robot dolphins that can swim underwater exactly like an actual both and does, except the pistol doesn't eat, poop or attack its handler in a fit of rage. The robot dolphin is so like like that it would easily fooled a typical guest at Seaworld. But then again, a robot version of Dolph Lundgren might pull the typical guest at Seaworld. Fish robot dolphins can swim up to 10 hours on a single charge on our operated remotely by a person, the company's representative Lee Wang said. We believe that it's time to re imagine this industry and that this approach can be more humane and more profitable at the same time, and all the Dolphins currently swimming three, responded. Wow. Was that a real dolphin? Or was it Memorex?.

"Why called me up and said the script. Read the rules just think so Of course I thought it was great. It was great role. Also I think You know arm on screen. How Love Chemistry on screen? I I realized that when I saw this this time round you know first time okay. I didn't know much movies but now you're seeing the Monitor. The scene together. Yeah there's something there and of course you have a lot of filth in values because that other movie we did but it's been a long time but even if we hadn't because he's Italian you know I'm romantic in London you know there's sort of there's something there and. I think it works in this picture to these firewalls are also works and also because your friends fall out of both sides can things so it's Kinda cool. He's he's really. He's he's very talented guy. Know Yup Sarin. I Forget Memories Everybody's realizing those guys I mean. Not many people like him now. He knows what he's doing you know he's certainly knows what he's doing. Which is a great. How do you? How do you back on on rocky four now all these years later? And how does it sit with you her where I look back at this song like first movie? Role IS TERRIFIC. I was young. Nothing could face me you know. It was inexperienced but physically very wrong was it was a great time. I got a great rate World famous very quickly practice is is is very tough heart newest and still are neither one way. Because you know it's all college swing I mean even thinking of the government but it's very very positive memory and You know I'm still remember the Kausar and Well is there a chance that If there's another universal soldier you would you return up especially at John Hives acting like him a lot? He's very talented I think he could probably do very well. Individuals enda anything. He makes the movie fucking do something in this picture. Maybe a little more of it than certainly back okay. Well that's great. Well thank you for your time and Take Care certainly recommend that people catch this movie? Definitely it's a lot of fun great to see you both back in to thank you so much for listening. Hi this is John Delancey and you are very lucky to be listening to Sifi Talk..

"Well come to the you are listening to Sifi Talk. My name is Anthony. Man and I am the director and LEAD IN THE NEW PRODUCTION TERROR DRACULA DELIGHTED TO GET that right here. On site high tax return to his universal soldier role re-generation this not only featured a return but working again with Jean Claude van Damme and then in another film reuniting with his rocky for Co Star. Here's a vintage conversation with Duff. Lumbering it was a great to To see you John Clawed back again thank you. What was it like to You had your seeing together. What was it like to do that? Scene and and to revisit those same parts again. All these years later yeah. It was a bit bizarre strange because I'm sequels before so you know to play this character again so kind of Like flashback you know 'cause Y- rehearsing it myself. You know this rehearsing roll. It wasn't a big of a role but sort some of this stuff and But UNSEE show up on the set and you see you know it means you're Claude in the year and and then you start getting flashbacks to to the first picture. So and get your perspective on your own career and your life really and then How quickly things go have this comp about point did they contact you kind of thing? Yeah they did actually Contract RUDE I turn it down first few times because I like script and I didn't go to seek well wasn't too excited about it but you know when John Haimes came on. He has some good ideas for the characters. Might Care for the script in with the volcanoes filmmaker. So knew he was gonNA work to it and And the points. I even had another show muggers direct thing and I this film films record myself and I had a Another commitment for another film to learn the movie I decided to do it and You Know Mel retrospect. There is a good decision. I think I should have would have been in it a little more. But they don't have time. Savina loggers turn good. Well you know about the way. The mythology works for this series Thinking always taken always bring you back. Yeah no shit if I survived that they're doing mench me. Then there's this. This last rule have injury the repair quickly. Oh yeah they can they can make another one of you so I don't think it'd be a problem. And what was it like you know doing the physical stuff with John Claude? In that one scene you guys had this rate vintage. Drag-out fight their her. Yeah it was. It was fun Grogan older so you get more bang You don't hear sheriff's As you know years ago but I'm always in pretty good shape so it wasn't really history was more difficult than it was back then. It was pretty long flight. Took about five days a lot. I but I enjoyed it and it was hard work was in. He's a smart coasters. Movie fights yes very ideas and incidents and Also the fact that you find the real her as these days times you funding available. What was neat about Scott? This time around was the fact that he was kind of really giving the soldiers voice and asking you know about why am I here. What is my existence kind of thing and I really like that? You know wish that could have been explored little more but I did like that part of it in the movie that your character adding year of to again. There's some depth deb staring not character in John's writing and I'm sure he'll so wishes show because it's an interesting dilemma in his. You'll Franks I missed you. Know where you create something and the creation shows the creator sympathizing with the monster a little bit because real feel like rated and you know not all in control and and it's also that of a voice against technology ships alive by logical like Or is it was an interesting? Take so jerk resolve the top. He's I caught in the way. This guy was much more internal so it was like this. I like that this time around. What was it like shooting? I know they had found. You went to Bulgaria shot in this abandoned power plant or actually a steel What was that like? The the set itself was almost like a character in the film. Yeah the was Was Low screen. The movie obviously uncomfortable their action. Movies is always how you'll shoot that. Look nations hot or cold or let the ZAM for dangerous. No exceptions Burger Colder. The lower shot that the indoors. This cold cold outside because you know fact fans and dangers. Lisa's Oh hang in. Steel and concrete everywhere. So yeah the nails of your grits and you. You know you're parents to get into character. 'cause you feel it right there and it was like an all those corner their place so. I really enjoyed them. That was a good choice of Jobs more regime. Puff why would I think you would people watching the DVD like is a kind of like these two new introductions and Mike Pyle who I thought did a great job in his part And and there's you know possibly for him to be more. If there's another movie and Andre Orlovsky also was Was pretty fantastic as the really one of the main antagonists in the film so to some two new newcomer were pretty good to watch angry. Yes like a great job. He's a hardworking guy. Is Of course very formidable looking in? Yeah I'm sure we can have been what was also unique was Was the fact that actually I had actually met Peter imes Because he directed another film. I covered years ago and I was surprised at his son. Peter was is John was directing film. what was it like? I mean Peter was the photography which he did on all his films. That never did it for anybody else. And John was directing what was their like their give and take on the set and Kinda watching them were working. What was that like for you roll? It was it was it was very cool to see bothering son on the seven. Gene or and specially son was in charge bothers. You know respectful and He's his job. Obviously being a very Talented director himself very experienced. He you know there was no fighting arguing. It was it was. It was great seeing that they were very very respectable each other so I was in crashed so the DVD also did commentary as well with with John What was that like for you? Fun Refund Moon Watching some watch the other I've never done this before. Public hearing Like aren't working together and talk about this aspect of it and the earnings rather and I learned a lot of things I know because I I was over there at the time though I think of What how how they involved in cool one of the things that's been cool about your career recently is that you've been in a directing your own films as well as starring in them and you know. I kinda came into that by I talked to composer of Your Film Missionary Man Ilias similar out and he was talking about that film how he was impressed by what you had done kind of time. What led you into going into that part of your career directing your your own. Well average uses carino federalism's and everything seems to happen by shared. So though I mean it all started because somebody said you know and making and Kalani guy and then somebody said all because the model makes the money is that then some of his movies movies so I started losing a little bit of acting then before I know it I got cash. Stallone Writing Movie Boxing Picture. Where there's a big blonde rushing guy. You know as a heavy in of course you didn't know existed but I ended up getting a role and then then making a bunch of movies are always like writing and you know I kind of thought of you know directing go to enrich finish that myself but all at once assure us a golden director directing and then I recommend me over which he did but anyway you know I said yes and suddenly. I'm directing movies and when you direct you start writing. Because she just be right except for when I started writing. Yeah man prolong things for another. You know crazy character. Crazy Swede this time Russian rentals. Get them just Bledel plans and much had. I'm just GONNA take it as a come. I liked acting. It's it's very of its Very stimulating and you learn a lot and it's certainly You know more. There's much more responsibility. I think having being an actor and I like that everything now. The the expendable is Stallone pretty much phone you up and said would you like to do it.

It has Bo Diddley wearing a bee costume in a very nineties rap number in my God he sounds like a fever dream like honestly it really comes off as like a fever dream. Yeah like it like it is. It's inexplicable it's a musical and the music is largely not sung by people who should be saying. Well we sign of adver good at like it's ninety minutes like it's it's it's in it's out it's done yet. Yeah absolutely. That's that's the way you know hanging around good. Oh wonderful okay. I'm trying to go back and it failed but it has dolph Lundgren. Who Do you know? Dolph Lundgren's origin story do not. He was like he was a Grad student at MIT account he was a Grad student. Mit and gravestones like you. You're my bodyguard. Wow that's the short version. But that's most of it so it's him as as he man and then. It has Franklin Gela as skeletal. "You wanted to say will that terms of living in the community, you're in if you're a cop, a friend. I had a good friend who was a live live for a while. And the community was breweries a policeman. He said he had to leave had to move away get tired of resting neighbors. So it's kind of Ezekiel. I'll i'll. Oh update. Mine all amend my statement. I don't need you to live in that community. I need you to know it in move in it, and sort of understand it. The the other thing is it is I understand what people have people that come in their home and are sort of in their community. They wanna feel like they're a part of the community. And and people do stereotype both ways, you know, what I mean? So if it makes that more easy. Okay. But I generally agree with your position that what you really want is the best person doing the job just assume I'd like to look at every firemen and every cop, and every everyone just assumed there were the best at that that particular profession and get on my life. And and I don't have any, you know, the rally of cops which is weird. I it's about forty percent of the cops in in large urban areas are Hispanic black female. Well, it's like it's not a bunch of dolph Lundgren's running around forty percent. If you had all those I I don't know. I mean, you can I don't know about the female part. I've probably higher with the FEMA. So look when you're in L A, and you get pulled over sound like to white guy show at the car. It's a Spanish guy or woman or whatever. Whatever it is. They're saying you just listen, and whatever you did you probably did. And that's why they pulled the over. I don't I don't go pull me over because I'm this or that she's a female. I'm white. I'm a guy she's pulled me at work because meduse you wouldn't pull over female. Oh, I don't feel like females get pulled over a fair bit. You know, drive to fast and whoever pulls you over pulls you over. I never had we could get to world white males, particularly white male. Just get pulled over hassled. Poor people get hassled me. Never. I don't think that really fully sinks in. But poor people get hassled by the cops. I used to get pulled over all the time. I rarely get pulled over anymore as your tail well that kind of thing or. When you pull over poor person. There's a lot more potential, right? There's your castles, they're just playing the cops aren't there to waste your own time right to pull over somebody you go. I like maybe this person's got a warrant Mary can get some money. Maybe there's some drugs in the car. Maybe it's not registered to their name. Maybe they don't have proof of insurance. There's another hundred bucks, you know, whatever. Like, I I it's a sensually. And I might not have an updated, whatever license or whatever just more stuff to find you with more stuff that why what why they pulling people over safety safe grave safety concerns rarely. "Hey road, Walberg the wriggles picks. I'm rob Riggle. And with me today is been at Weber. Hello. And of course, Chandler but back in the game. And it doesn't have a Mike. She doesn't but you can hear every now I'll throw their hang is. There you go. Hey, so Sarah Tiana is not with us today. What I know shocker. She is out on tour making that money make that money they pair. Yes. They actually do how about that. And I work with never mind. She's onto worth a doll Ziglar or dolph Lundgren. Who is it? It's the wrestler. Dolph Segler Dolf Ziglar is is it really the wrestler Dopson she's out on tour with a wrestler stand up now. So they toward together. And it's like, sports and comedy mixed together. It's very funny as a professional comedian, rob how do you feel that? Actually, I envisioned something like thunderlips the ultimate mail from rocky three where Sarah is like the female manager. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Talks a lot of smack. You know, I think this opens the door to you being a wrestler since you could do like vice versa thing. Switch places. Hey. Hey. Hey, all right. Let's go through the potential wrestling personas because I know you've thought about this. Oh my God. Well, one of them would be actually did a wrestling show in New York where I played the reaper. Okay. Sure. The reason I did that was because while everybody else was jumping around off the robes and sweating profusely as I don't wanna do that. So I had the power of telekinesis share share. So I could just like real life. Yes. Like Darth Vader. I could choke people from across the ring, and you wouldn't have to get sweating. I've ever had to move around much. I just had to walk around on her. And and I like that character. No developing a character called obese an aegis. It's very similar to the mother and what's eating Gilbert grape. And like my entrance move is they have to cut a wall out. And then I come out on a rascal, and I don't have to do anything. I'm just so intimidating everything you're saying making sense to me if there was a character. I could do wrestling character where it was like lifeguard. So I could be sitting there. Sure sitting there real comfortable people. Get really tight. If you blew the whistle blow, the whistle. It's almost like supersonic income FU hustle. Yeah. Where they grab their ears it melts their ears. My whistle is like that's my secret weapon. Oh, yeah. That's the whistle. A dog whistle. They all just melt, and as Baywatch Thomas if you ever had to actually do anything physical..

I defer to the special counsel's office to make the determination about what they they. What they did cross that threshold from collusion, which I think is quite evident to criminal conspiracy. This went Nance has been saying and writing about for ever. So when you watch it you're not going on Elektra punisher movie, you're like watch dolph Lundgren punisher. It's fun with the caveat. Yeah. So then after that we had the two thousand four film, the punisher starring Thomas, Jane as Frank castle, John Travolta as Howard sane who has money launder who ordered the death of castles entire family. It has a glowing twenty nine percent on rotten tomatoes. But Roger Ebert. He gave the film to star saying the punisher is so grim and cheerless. You wonder if if it's hero gets any satisfaction from his accomplishments. Now, this movie is fantastic. I really people crap on this movie. I own it on the big fan. Think Thomas Jane, really figured out who the punisher was. I liked Tom. Jane is an actor it stars at Rebecca romaine as a supporting role who's great in this and people just think of hers mystique. No, no, she's great and punisher and Ben foster is one of my favorite actors in the game. Ben foster in the last ten years getting all this critical appeal, but Ben foster is in the punisher, and he plays this crazy like touted and pierced method and he's like. Jesse pink pin? It's fantastic for real and movies. Got a great supporting cast you identify with the supporting cast in a way that you don't expect. Because when you re watch the punisher you need to have the humanity to make the character work. That's what longer didn't have because his humanity. Was that crazy rhyming guy? Whereas you've got Rebecca remain. You've got been foster you believe in what he's fighting for. And that's what makes the character. Go from men to good is there has to be an island. There has to be a perspective. You can see. So I really liked the Tom Jane one because it gave us that for the first time I've been nice, and then we had the two thousand eight the punisher war zone. Everyone else. Pretty much says is the good. Yes. A lot of people love it. Starring Ray Stevenson as punisher extracted by my friend. Lexi Alexander, who is awesome. And I feel like she. I don't know. She's a good follow on Twitter follow her. She speaks up quite a bit and really puts people in their place. And I think that she was a perfect person to do a punisher film. Also, she's she's also directed a lot of other comic book TV shows, some of the ones that I think are in the CW. So yeah. But she also does hand to hand combat which you can see her tweeting about constantly. She's amazing. This film is a reboot..

"So he doesn't have to a comical monkey that sits on your shoulder laughs when you make a joke. Patrick, Patrick Wilson also dealing with the garbage script has he hams it up. I think he's seemingly and so he kind of leans into. To it, and it just becomes absurd. So when he's standing above a giant crab king? And he's shouting I will be the ocean master it's easier to enjoy that than it is to think it's stupid, or at least feel both of those things at the same time. And then aqua Jason momoa, isn't that great of an actor? But clearly they knew who all command was going to be when the script was being written. So they wrote it for him. And he's like. Tude? So even though everything he says is stupid to it. Still feels like he's performing it better because it's written for him. But you can see all the other actors who aren't Willem Dafoe Patrick Wilson. And Jason momoa are stuck with this terrible. Terrible script even dolph Lundgren is like like, his his terrible CG hair is going that being said, I think we are at a point where if you make a two, plus our movie spectacle like this and the script is bad. You can lean into other things like costume design like special effects like sound design. Just just action sequences in general to make it good. That's how I felt about doctor strange. I think doctor strange has garbage script to I think the dialogues a little bit better. But I think the script for doctor strange is pretty terrible that being said the action sequences, and the the performance of doctor strange and the whole vibe of the movie was enough that was like. Oh, I liked that movie. Yeah. We're in a weird phase where computers can do a better job than actual creatives. And I guess you need animators and to your point of the script. It's like, yeah. The dialogue was pretty awful. But I've really loved that it had all kinds of crazy lore that it just. Dumped on us a ton of when they do kind of get out. He's looking at it, computer. He's got his thing out with a hard drive. Those two. When they do a ton of the history of Atlantis, and they do all the flashbacks stuff. I'm like I kinda like I kind of like that. It's just dumb weird stuff. I agree with Adam. But none of it matters. Like, oh, thank God. These questions have been answered. It's just like there was a society that was smart, and then they exploded and they fell to the ocean. But it's okay because they had this technology that exploded their island. It's also turned that some of them into fish people. And I mean, it's interesting because it's it's not it's part of it's its earth still right like most superheroes. It's like, well, here's this distant place galaxy or a different inlands be, but it's still on earth. And that gives it a little weird different dimension. I like, I think. Yeah. A lot of people that a lot of hard work on all these on this weird vision that comes from the law, but I I just had more questions when the main plot seemed to be correct me if I'm wrong. It was ocean Massar. Orm was enormous. I call him Patrick Wilson or Tim scour? If you type in like average, man, I think a pitcher Patrick Wilson pops up. It's just very normal can do great actor his problem is with all the garbage being dumped in the sea. So he's like we I want to combine the kingdom's. We're gonna take the land. I felt like that gets dumped pretty early on. Or is just forgotten because they have one big ocean wave hit the shore. And then it never comes up again ends up being a big battle with the crab people. I would say I would say to counter that his his idea was war one side is defeated like they're being taken advantage by the people above and so he thinks that they should just use their superior technology to just destroy them. Whereas aquaman represents the compromise between the two worlds, which is why it which is I think what the movies trying to say..
