"75 going on here discovered on the video. The nice guy, you get a disco ball in the background there, but it's about with disco ball represents on like a soul level, So it's It's a bunch of broken pieces put back together again to make an entire object and when the light is finally kind of shining on them, and you can feel that lesson, you know the light of love of a good lesson. Imagine like what it creates. People are in total all of of disco balls. And so when you see a broken person that put themselves back together again, we should be in all of them. Shouldn't judge them. We should just be an off of learning of how to do that. And and I always have just had a fascination with disco balls. But I like the idea that they're a bunch of broken pieces. Put back together. How great is that? Right? That's a good analogy. I like it so wrong to are. We drawn the kind of broken people that have found their way again? Yeah, I love that. You're such a good spot, have you? It sounds like you've done some soul searching during quarantine stuff, too. And getting to know yourself better like we've all done. Have you done any cleaning out of your house? Had you gone down memory lane with stuff? He found an old diary or anything. So I had the house fire. In Malibu, and I lost a lot of like journals and things and I kind of thought something's went missing. That didn't and so I found a couple things that I thought were gone like a couple journals and especially pictures. My grandma has been in the senior living since this all started. We can't go see her, obviously so all these images because my grandma who came here my grandma came to California on a vacation with my grandad, and he got drafted and had to go to war and she got stuck in l A and basically live super close to where I I am now taking care of people's gardens, and I had no idea. My grandma had even lived in l A or ever even knew what the Valley was. My grandma drives a lawnmower as an actual vehicle. No, I never felt like Lola. So apparently my grandma was like a gardener in the Valley, and I found all these wonderful pictures. That's a story that obviously nobody's heard before. Thank you for sharing that my grandma was actually in a Embroidered silk kimono that my granddad had sent from Japan. I did was send a picture to Dolly Dolly Parton is your godmother Because I'm like You're not going to let my grandma is like I always thought that I got my fashion from you. You know, I know. I realize that like mammal, Ruthie, was it like it is in the valley and silk and bordered custom robes like II gave Dolly the credit actually wasn't given mammal. Ruthie. How is she doing? Is she okay? Have you been able to face time with her and stuff? My grandma Yesh. He might want my grandma on my dad's side. Who drives lawnmower? She got you really good with Tech. My dad doesn't have WiFi. But she does so that my dad won't allow. Why find out I was back. I think so. We can't bug him. Maybe no service on the farm by Grandma has wide by my other grandma. That's in senior living. She I just It was totally random. There was this like cats at a house that had been like abandoned for nine years. I've been living in this bathroom and then I Found her the day that my grandma's dog died, so I was able to give her this cat. And now this cat Daisy and my grandma are best friends, and they're not alone during Corona Empire apart. My family's dog was like 14. It died, and I found this cat on the same day as that not meant to be. That's what she needed. Were all the same inherently through this Coben 19 crisis because we all have love ones. That we can't be near so fame fortune, Gloria whatever it may be behind somebody doesn't matter in the sense that you just want to hug your grandma. I just want to be with your family. My grandma is starting to be a little forgetful. So she told me about the same Dr Phil episode Every single time I've talked to her was a damn good episode. I'm starting my acting tools. I have to pretend like I've never heard of this fake reactions like I and I've heard it now 55 times, but I let it be. Let her know that Dr Phil is gonna have a new Ah Grand baby. Pretty soon His son just announced that they're expecting. Oh, my God, I'm sure she knows takes that That would be new information, So no, So aside for missing your family has physical distancing been been easier. Hard for you. I don't really like to be liked that much. Which honestly, by the way, has been so great. You're in Harlem and no one has to know what it's true. You know, like I'm at a six foot distance like there's no bomb. My dad's like, isn't this great Lexi? I'm doing social distances in the nineties. He's like I've been thinking It was weird how much we hug and shake and people like me and my dad were natural social distance, sir, even though you might look at some fingers for meeting grades, where I kissed my fans, But that's only sometimes I again and extremists. Sayama germophobe. I get that, but you wouldn't take a good foot rub. Don't you enjoy it? Wonderful foot rub. Just like that in general, Just like too much, sweetie. Sweetie, I'm not really like sweet and like that. I'm pretty. I'm pretty tough. We're going to get in there. Yes, but like I could probably maybe get my little sister on a good day to do that. Noah is so good. I always make her like, step on my back and like everything the misuse of all time, so if anyone's going to rub my feet, it's only going to be Noah. But like ever since she turned 20 she's not really into that. You're not doing it. That stinks. I try with my kid. I'm trying to pay him to rub my feet. He's 12. I never wanted. Until I think about how many free massages I've given my parents like my dad. When I was like, not quite as large as I am. Now, Billy, Just step on my back. Just step right here. I would walk off bands are wondering every time they've been down to tie their shoes. Why they're back goes out. I'm like you had five kids. You had all of us walking on top of your back. I would jump on my dad's spine like it doesn't seem like you're qualified to be a chiropractor. Child Jump back. I'm not like I'm.

"And that's what your fuel is feeling forty below zero temperatures. Okay. I pulled up monkey Gajah was asking about the the entertainment there at the mid America truck show. Michael Ray would be the opening act for runaway June. Now, according to the little bio they've got on the mid America truck show website. They said Michael Ray loves a good story. So it's only natural when it came time to tell his story, he gravitated to country music, I feel like immune general, but especially country music. The story lines of always been about the foundation. He says. No matter. What changes what may happen with the sound? I feel like when you listen to a song. No matter what walk of like you come from. You can really can lose yourself in that song and put your own story to it. So I think Michael raise new guy, I guess an up and comer is they say dot doesn't mention anything about his having any charted hits now runaway June has I don't know that I've heard any of their music at this point or not. This is a sound. They say that hasn't been heard on country radio in quite some time. And that is the sound of organic three-part, female, harmonies ringing strings and stories. That speak the language of modern, women everywhere. With their debut single entitled lipstick runaway, June became the first all female trio. And over a decade to score a top twenty five hit. With the help of their follow up top forty single wild west. The breakout trio earned twenty eighteen academy of country music nomination for the new vocal duo or group of the year in the fall of last year runaway June released their self titled EP which features their newest single, which is entitled by my own drinks. All right. Three part harmonies. Yeah. You got to go back to. How many years we had the forester sisters renumber a years, the three part harmony, they were out of Georgia. I remember we had well the group that they called themselves. The trio that was Dolly Dolly Parton, Linda, Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris, they put out a couple of albums many years ago. Then of course, I guess what what would be the most recent. The name of the chicks all year, the Dixie chicks, the ones that pissed off ninety percent of the country music audience when they trashed what George W. When they were out of the country. They ended up getting booted off a lot of radio stations. I guess they're still around. I honestly, I couldn't tell you if they're still performing, but for many, and that was kind of the end of the line. They really screwed up on that one. Putting politics into the music. Never a good thing. It really no matter what side of the line..

"Tyra banks opening a model theme theme park. I don't know about the day. They used to you remember when they had dollywood. Dolly Dolly, Parton, it was kind of like a country western team when I was working for they have it. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Dollywood has multiple parks. Okay. When I was years ago. I remember do you. Remember, Doug, Henning, y'all? Doug hand. Yeah. He was an allusion as he was opening with the Maharishi and Doug Henning were announced they were opening a series of of enlightenment themed, theme parks, and this strikes me as having about as much appeal enlightenment. Yeah. It was called Veda veta- land. I think but. I'm like a camp or cult or something. Yeah. But what you know, you go to Disney, right? Yeah. It's kind of like a with models. I tried to be plants. I didn't make it obviously. But yeah, it's like it's like a park full of models. I didn't make it obviously. It was a difficult one. It was hard. I tried out for all of them, actually. But yeah, no. They were looking for specific set days. We didn't make. They looked right at our face name. Sorry. I'm like, are you serious? Look again. Let's try this again. Oh, no sorry. I think I was like to like. Yeah. Exactly. Big. I'm like, okay. Well, your head is big thirty battling back and forth back out. It wasn't gonna. My sister Tuesday thing then we don't have like. Princess. They had morale to one's better know where she went. I think quasimodo's like scaring people. So they don't happen in barking, Mark Richardson. Unfortunately, anyway, but I think this is a great idea you do for wine people that want to look like a momma should go there and get their butts and shape it could be like a good pre percents. Yeah. It's like being a try to. You know, you go people watching and maybe gives you inspiration. Police have been shut this down already. I just love that. It's in Santa Monica where have you ever been everyone's already? Yeah. That's the whole foods like a monster walking down the hall. He's little. All these little tiny yoga people with their pants. Chocolate. He hasn't even say, which I'll just wear. Olga. Almost California just ban. John. Model theme park. That's it. That's the way you save money on costs you build a theme park around the model. District. Like, what is this? I mean. Yeah, there's a couple of red flag natural habitat Corey in Moscow, Idaho. Would you go to a model theme theme park? I I don't get the point of this. I mean, the part of the joy going to theme park is eating all of the food that model would never talk. But on the bright side, though, you get an authentic experience when you get sick on the ride and then after throw your guts up. Oh, yeah. But again, this just sounds more like a zoo, you're just going to stare at thing. It's so true. It's weird. I think the model thing has kind of peaked. Yeah. We were obsessed with models for I don't think we care about them as much anymore, especially are there any models anymore. I mean, I don't even know that she used to be the head of the Americas top next top model. So maybe this a promo for that show. Maybe they're trying to push something forward. That's it in the old days. You had, you know, Kathy Ireland Christie Brinkley, and they were the supermom, but there aren't any supermodels anymore. Are there? I don't think there really are. Right. You're right. What it stands for his what's inside now? That's right. Yeah. Yeah. With a pretty dimple beating Mark on her face. But Cindy Crawford. Name current. No, just you know, who is a famous model is the one who went topless in the ferrall video. And now she's like a big metoo person. Oh, really, Emily Radha Chadha chatter ski. Yes. That's right. He's made a name for self. But you gotta go beyond just being the supermodel end up going to March is being political or another way. Yeah. Which is unfortunate. The now TJ in Orange County, California. He's his the note next to his name says the governor should not resign. But I also want to get his take on this jogger who strangled a mountain lion. TJ in Orange County. Let me get your thoughts on the governor. You don't think he should resign? I don't think he should resign because of the black does thing maybe for the baby thing, but not for the black based Bank point being is that we we need we need to get back to the eighties and the nineties when the days were good because this political correctness matches is is we're going to end up like Russia and north creek combined people walk around sad depressed. That's how we're gonna end up. But we keep doing this going down this line. Let. The show here. Forgot what your name is high. You made a a perfect played about Hollywood Hollywood is eating their own basically. Because that's exactly what they're doing. Maimi Kimmel we need to go after him nets. If that's where this is where this logo go 'cause he did back base with a black basketball player, almost you. I saw that episode talking like, he's a black brother. How can all dumb trying to like black personal talk smack on Trump and be talking about racial inequality, and and massage me and all this stuff? But yet he's out there being a hypocrite doing it themselves. So they don't do this mess. Hollywood go eat yourself up. That's all I got JJ. Thanks for the call. So right. If Jimmy Kimmel were smart, he would come out, and he'd say, look, there's a lot going around the news. Let me show you a video that I did. And then show it and then say, look, I wouldn't do that video on Thursday show. Yeah. And I'll tell you why. Because times change people change things change, mores, change, and whatever. So let's give the Virginia governor a break, or, you know, either I'm going to get fired or he has to step down. But you know, why don't we put draw a line in the sand here. I mean, that'd be. Very helpful Jimmy Kimmel did that. Absolutely, absolutely. Get ahead of it. Right. Yes. That's most ever. Get ahead of it. The people think they're going to get ahead of it. Governor northern thought he was going to get a get ahead of it by going out and apologizing and kneeling down and saying I've caused so much pain instead of coming out with a picture of the poster for the movie soul man and say guys let me get back to work because at the time that this photograph is taken and one of the hit movies in America was sold. Eight black face comedy. Julia Louis Dreyfuss and James Earl Jones, right? Yeah. So why don't we stop pretending that, you know? This is like unprecedented. In fact, people had different standards. They're so quick to apologize. When don't apologize. Let's level. Let's level with it. I'm with you on that like stop apologizing for things that you're you might not even be sorry for. I'd rather them come out and say, I'm actually not sorry for taking that vote out. Hey, I make this a real guy who had a real issue at the time. And he didn't even know he took that photo. And he's going to level with the people. I bet you he would garner respect from this coming out and calling spayed owner Norma in Sandusky, Ohio wants to bring up a show that probably Jamie doesn't even remember. Hello. No, I kind of agree with the less gentleman was on about the governor of Virginia. I don't like his comments about the whole baby thing that's a whole other program for your time Celo. Yeah. You know, if I consider myself conservative, but I'd say. Stop poking at people and get to stick out of our own. I number one. And then if we're gonna poke how about token at mash. Do you want examples of dad, Barrio typical behavior you've got them? All there. You've got stupid the ones you've got back, you know, their whole for their head from hole in the ground. And you've got a guy dressing up like a woman to to try to get a gift charged in the military, and then you've got radar who he also acts like a bumbling, you know, radio operator. There are so many in every woman in there every nurse in there. Every woman in there is treated like an object if you wanna get down, and you want to nitpick, but you know, what Tom you said. Well, what's the what's the opposite? Oh, what's the downside of this? Well, the downside of everything we're doing right now. Oxide. Let's be happy. Take ourselves out of the sand. And just start being real people. I agree with the gal on the show own it. Thank you. That's a great message Norma. Mash was a very politically incorrect show like everything of that era. When the hit shows of the seventies. This shows that I grew up on Michael I'm a little bit older than you. Right. Were Sanford and son mash all in the family. I remember that one. Yeah. I mean, they dealt with these issues. That's the way that made people laugh, but they didn't they didn't shrink from them. Archie bunker was a white race. And then what do you do? How do you spin off from that show? Oh, how about a black racist and the Jefferson rich blank? So funny, but you know, what reruns are reruns of that still on on TV land or anything like that. I'm I'm surprised bashing. Right. Yeah. You could find them occasionally not long ago is millennials going after Seinfeld is calling it in for free. Absolutely. That point. Now, why Seinfeld? Loved funny accents, which are not allowed anymore. Thanks for Jerry Seinfeld. Being a genius comedy knows that one thing always works. And that is a character with a funny. Foreign accent? I didn't I didn't even ask our caller. I wanted to get to this Colorado jogger. So the guys jogging Colorado he gets attacked by a mountain lion. And he strangled angles. What what his hands the old? I think from what I understand. He put his arm around his neck, and he did a choke hold any choke the life out. Five. Why isn't that guy at the state of the union? He's a hero should be in the front row. Say okay now, here's the girl who survived cancer, and everyone applause now, here's a guy who strangled a. Guys got the ultimate just party or bar story ever like every other guys out there trying to impress back. Full of it though. No way. What would you were you drunk now Matt wants to see the mountain line? He thinks it might be smaller. It was a baby right? The house. I'm gonna say aggressive housecat. What makes you say baby? Michael. Because I think I read that I thought I saw somewhere that it wasn't a full amount. And I think they use the word juvenile. It was a it wasn't an immature. Make sure this guy was in a little like stone from this Colorado air, maybe he was confused on what it was. I don't think it was a young mountain line. But the thing is it takes it only takes a year from there to get big. It wasn't like a little pup attacked him little baby mountain lions, don't go attacking. This was a big enough mountain line. So it stocked its prey and attack. The man I use clearly know more about mountain lions than I do. I think they instinctively maybe maybe he wanted to play the poor mountain line. Just wanted to play the show. He needs a reality television show naked and afraid that's what he needs. He needs to be on that show. He's just not afraid or naked. It is the word was juvenile mountain lions. All right. Okay. I mean, I definitely would not have come out victorious on that on that front. So he is that's an impressive may right there. If he's telling the truth. Well, they did they went and found out. They went to the area described got in a car drove to the hospital, and they went and found he strangled it, then he got himself to the hospital, and they said why what's with all the cuts and bruises. And he said, by the way, I was attacked by a monologue. Yeah. What shocked him out ladies? This is a man is he single. Heck? American hero. Before we break. Let's take salmon Martin Tennessee thinks Liam Neeson needs to be forgiven. But but what about the what are they gonna do about this latest movie people want him digitally, remove Sam? Well, I mean something that he did forty years ago shouldn't affect what he's doing today. I am part of the millennial. Generation. But you know, I was always raised to say never say never and two good examples of that is in high school. I said that I would never work in a factory. Well, the fall of my senior year, I working at factory and the other is ahead a vehicle at one time. I said, well, this is really hard to keep clean on never have another one and then two years ago about a brand new black vehicle because I liked it. So I don't think anybody should be judged on anything that they should that. They've done in the past people grow people learned people change their opinion. Sam you are this is your opportunity, you're on national radio. And this is your opportunity to bare your soul and give us your biggest regrets and the best you come up with this. You bought a black vehicle? Tell me you've done.

"I kid was because the performances were great the dialogue was fun. It had all of that. But it really didn't have a story. Well because you don't this the first half hours. I in other words like it's completely entertaining throughout. But nothing nothing really happens at the end, you're like, right. Yeah. The ending is a very unsatisfactory ending is my personal opinion. They just didn't know how to end it. And they just said ended it that's probably why it had that. I think if it had had if it had the auto little gas in the tank twenty percent, more guests, and it could have been a best picture, but in a year like this who knows all right? We gotta get you a bonus. We didn't do any questions from black klansman off from. Well. We'll do a question round at the end. Okay. Let's talk about that bonus movie. Now, this would talking about for two reasons Melissa McCarthy and Richard E grant, but let's just talk about the film, can you ever forgive me was one of my favorite movies this year. I thought she was incredible. I loved I thought Richard E grant was out of this world and people are talking about how it should be Glenn Close or lady Gaga for the Oscar. I think it should be Melissa McCarthy. I thought she was fabulous. I love. How main these characters are how shitty they are. It was such a disgusting. Time in New York. I love that they showed that Nicole hall of center who wrote it is probably one of my favorite filmmakers ever. I love the also to rectify. She didn't I forget the name of the woman who directed it. But but I really really loved this movie. Yeah. Erin, I Queen character. Mary how to yet to and not build as that. Okay. I will be very honest with you. Yeah. I agree with everything that Bryant said, except and this is me, and my temperament, I got bored. Okay. I got a little bit. As true story goes. I just didn't Sumi hair picks them. Really? I just I thought it was interesting. I I stopped caring in the middle of the movie, yet, would what do you think was remember the moment? What around the moment when she was when she was getting extorted. I just I felt like I was I just felt like I knew is complicated by him by the Bush seller. When he oh, yeah. I felt like I started seeing the that. We started seeing the man behind the curtain. Yep. If you'll allow me wizard of Oz reference, my favorite scene of the year because it reminded me of something actually each of you would say to me, and you're only Israel ways was toward the end. Wait, it's a very emotional scene. And she looks at him. She said why don't we just want to trip? You right now. That moment. I thought was one of the best. Yeah. I really saw myself in that moment of like, oh, that's how my friends and I talked to each other. Well, and that's so real. That's exactly she's she's mean 'cause she can't deal with her own anger and around inadequacies. And that's so real to say that to afr-. I mean, why do I want to punch you in the fake really did break, my heart yet, she would deny herself a relationship with someone who so clearly admired her respected her and she pushed to an interview Smith. Yeah. The she's just pushed her away. I have to say I thought in a devious myth was one of the total missteps of this film casting her because she really it was funny. I felt like, oh, that's an advancement Dolly meals is who I'm talking about the woman who works at thou jolly wells. Oh, I thought you were talking a I'm sorry. I apologize. If you're talking about her. She pushes everyone pretty much out of her life. I thank her. Her ex Dolly Dolly, well, sorry was remarkable. And she was remarkable in that in a scene in particular. But she gave a very nuanced performance that easily could have gun Twee didn't sucking great was it to see J curtain in a move age. Ain't ring always talk about the statue of limited. I one. Me too. How was she not always cast in those to me she should have played Anna winter she should've played every role Candice Bergen ever played..

Well, the the short of it is that I was moving out here with my with my dog, Leo who I lost suddenly, and I came out here pretty heartbroken about it. And I started pet sitting for some friends, and then that kind of started spreading, and I'm Mike, this is awesome. Get to love on other people's pets. But I don't have to have this large space for this fifty five pound dog. And then it just kind of mushroom. Do you know, it was just it was feeding me, and it was suiting. The pets and the owners, and it just I said this is this is like a perfect fit. And how advanced you do you need a notice for two bookie. Oh, well, I'll be honest. So it's an amazing organization. Do you have a big clientele that you work with? I mean CASA I currently have one family to is the max, but I have a family who keeps pretty busy right now. And it's an. Amazing organization lots of volunteers. So so explain that whole process you guys get a phone call from. So what happens is when children are pulled from their families for many, different reasons. And they're put in foster care children and family is. CYA FD. What's the children and family department? Okay. Children in new family department. I believe. So these these children are already in foster hardy in foster hunting, get a phone call and then CASA will get the phone call, and we'll get the case. And then they'll put it out to one of the case workers strictly volunteers. And then they select a family that that suits them. And then we we make sure that they they're in safe foster, we make sure that they're doing well in school. We make sure that they have coats and shoes and things if they need and in my case, you know, I I go visit them at school. And I visit them in their foster, and I just love on the mismatch. I think which is founder and the next fundraiser event pass ahead. Yeah. I need help with their amazing. We need volunteers. Okay. We absolutely need volunteers. And then we're always, obviously fundraising because you know, we provide blankets and toys and clothing. And there's a there are a lot of you know, we have a small staff. Here's for what exactly volunteers. Sometimes we we need people who just want to be a bachelors who just want to talk about CASA different events, and and try to recruit volunteers not everybody wants to be a CASA. It's it can be it's very passionate work. But it can also be heartbreaking. But some people just want to participate, and they just want to be ambassadors. You know? Do you need any special qualifications developing tier? Well, if you are going to become a cost, they do give you a an amazing training, a cool. So they they set you up for success and the staff at the offices, and he's the director, and there's Michelle, and there's Jessica, and they cannot do enough to help you be successful. So I would have a really hard time volunteering with children that have been neglected or abused. That would just I couldn't do it. But will fundraise for you? But I think heaven knows I love to hear the sound of my. I know right. You're taking control your role in with it. So normally Brenda I after every show, I get admonished when we get back to the office for being a microphone hog and today because Leslie has like a lot to say, I'm just letting her go. And now, I'm admonished for not. It's a double edged sword though. Yeah. You feel the love today. I know she's doing great though, normally she's kinda deer-in-the-headlight. So I am. But I actually feel very comfortable, Brenda good. And the rest of the our guests. You didn't feel comfortable with? No, I do. Absolutely feel comfortable but I- freeze up a little bit nervous talking on the radio. And yeah, you made me feel comfortable. Thank you. Oh, thank you guys. Superfund cool. So if you were to come help us walk dogs at MorningStar. How would that work? Well, I know the space is beautiful and excited to see it finished. So like, if somebody's somebody has a puppy, and there, maybe just not feeling up for it. Or they say can you come once a week to walk my pop, so I just come over. And we set up a time that works for them. And you know, I take the pop or if they wanted to walk with us. You know, they want me manage the Pat and they wanted to go out and get some fresh air and they wanna companion. You know, that's kind of fun to or we can just go sit in the courtyard and take the pup out for some fresh air. You know, really super flexible, whatever works for the for the for the I hate to say owner 'cause you know, 'cause they're family, right? Papas and and their puppies. Yeah. And he started weird definitely a pet friendly community. We would love to have you provide your service resins. We actually have a lot of puppies coming. Don't. You do have a lot of puppies coming. Dahlie is going to have a lot of friends. She has our community dog. No, I haven't met Dolly Dolly is my my black lab. She's about twelve years old. She is a retired bird dog, and she was a working bird dog. I used to hunt with their back in the mountains of Virginia. And and got paid for it all over vet bills were paid Oliver food. Yes. She was she comes from a really strong bloodline in the reason that I got her was because she had washed out of her field trial program and in order to try and make her marketable. The the trainer was abusing her. And then prim land the the resort where I would do my hunting Hatter, and she was wasting away to nothing and it turned out. She was really sick. And so I took her in and fat and her up, and I had never done any sort of pheasant hunting before that at all. And we just became this sort of loser team. And we had a great time. You're listening to aging gracefully on talk twelve.

"That's eight four four forty seven bible eight four four forty seven. B I B L E. Now that Thurston on K G O eight ten. Good evening on our talking about this poor woman had a swimming accident where she almost drown. She ended up in a vegetative state. She's been in a care facility round the clock care a year twenty four seven care in this facility in Arizona, and all of a sudden much to everyone's surprise just a few days before Christmas, she gave birth to a healthy, baby. Boy, one of the things that also perplexes me is how do people in that facility? Not know she was pregnant. I mean. There are a lot of signs when you become pregnant. There are a lot of changes your body goes through when you're pregnant, including of course, a distended abdomen. How did they not know that she was pregnant, and apparently they didn't know until she went into labor, and she started moaning, and they still didn't know until I don't know if she breached, but she was actually giving it must have been the baby breach. It must have been. So she actually was giving birth that is when they realized a nurse facilitated the birth of the baby boy, healthy, wonderful great. I hope the baby boy lives a healthy wonderful life. But obviously the woman was raped, and it gives us all pause when you put somebody into a care facility. You think they're going to get care that the people around them actually care about their wellbeing. You don't expect. There are rapists on the staff who are going to take advantage of somebody like this. How frequent is this is this something that's that happens? Or is this something that is? Such an anomaly, so rare that it would cause all of us to be in shock and horror over it. All and then what do you how do you? Find out who the perp is eight hundred eighty eight ten is the telephone number eight oh eight oh, eight ten. Let's let's start with Theresa Theresa's in Sacramento Theresa. Hi, welcome to K, G O. I was compelled to call because I work in healthcare myself, and I've had experience actually having relatives in long term care facilities. The only thing I can think is overnight sappy overnight. Nothing. Yeah. Because it's so busy. But what also shocks me when I heard about this story is that. I mean, I literally frozen my tracks. When I was listening to the story in the background while cleaning my house. There's a federal alma doper movie. That's Spanish director. Yeah. Exact exact thing happened. The woman who was in a coma. Yes, ma'am. The movie I think came out. Let's see thousands. Yeah. It's called talk to her. That's the name of the movie, and they noticed that the young lady was pregnant in the movie because her when the people were cleaning her up and giving her about their noticing. Hey, her her period hasn't come. I'm wondering why why did not anyone noticed? I mean, I wonder what her age is. But I'm wondering why they didn't notice that her period hadn't come or maybe it was a regular. But in the movie the guy who. Overnight south die. He went to prison. So, but I agree with you. They should be do DNA sampling voluntary. Can they can they can they compel it? Yeah. I have no idea. I really don't. Yeah. If you work in healthcare, if there was something where patient was abused. And there was DNA evidence. That indicated that could reveal who the patient was would you voluntarily give up your DNA. Absolutely. There should be nothing to fear could totally all on here. Yeah. I think this woman was twenty two years old. But I could be wrong. I think she was twenty two, and you know. Yeah. So she should have been having a regular period if she was able to get pregnant she should've had a regular period. She was there. But maybe you know, maybe she was twenty two when she went in. But still at thirty two she would have been having regular periods throughout the time. She was in the vegetative state. Somebody should have noticed. Yeah. Yeah. Abdomen and her breasts would have changed, and we agree. I completely agree. Believable. People should be. Yeah. Definitely. Thank you. Thank you so much Theresa. And I'm going to look up that movie to talk to her. I'm going to look up that movie because you know, sometimes life imitates art, eight hundred eighty eight ten is the telephone number eighty eighty eight ten let's go to Robert Roberson Santa Clara. Hey, Robert, welcome to K G O. How you doing? Point my point four hundred. Testing is do we know that this? The current employees. Who did another pastor Floyd? You don't I you're right. But it would have to be somebody who was employed over the past nine months or the nine months prior to. And so it would have to be all of the men all the male employees who had access to her privately and. For those type of positions. At home is although the type of job to had high turnover rate. So when I was thinking, you know what I'm thinking. Yeah. I, you know, maybe. But I think can you think of another way to do it. DNA? So that's I don't know. I don't know if they can. I mean, there's a criminal act that took place a felony. Definitely a felony court can issue an order that you have to provide DNA sampling. But I don't know if they can only issue the order because there's probable cause that use the civically the individual who did it. I tend to think that's probably what the law is. So it may be impossible to to get it voluntarily. Yes. Yeah. But you know, what it's kind of like our previous caller, if you're a healthcare worker there. You wanna find out who did it you're going to willingly give up your DNA, which is going to leave a very small pool of people who say no to the DNA testing. And then within that group of people. Maybe there's another way to gather DNA. Maybe there's another way to determine you to look into your background to make you a suspect. They focus on that. You know, maybe we'd give them clues not being an investigator. I don't know how you perceive something actually fine who the perpetrator ESPN. This is hideous with it. I I know. Well, thank you so much. I I do too. And I hope that he's not working in another facility even now, and I hope that they don't find out that there have been other people in that facility of suffered the same fate eight hundred eighty eight ten is the telephone I'm including the men, including the men in that facility who also could have been sexually abused. Let's see let's go to a Dolly Dolly is calling from Oakland. Hey, Dolly welcomed. Jio? Hi, I I'm I'm thinking this. She's in a vegetated mine. So she gets. I mean, the care is not as overwhelming as somebody who is up and moving around. So how about people walking into their visit other people maybe somebody with inside there? And and and this woman, so not necessarily has to be a worker. It could be anybody. 'cause nobody's really watching the people coming in. And she's in vegetated mine. So you're not going to care for her as much as you would do somebody that up. And I think that when people are vegetated my daddy. Can't can't hope maybe cameras in there. Make sure that the people are safe. But maybe so I mean, that's not a bad idea. I don't know if she was in a private room, or if she was in a room that was shared with someone else who was that person. Also in a vegetative state or could that person be a witness to the assault? I mean, I don't know the answers we're getting so little information. About all of this. But you're right. It wouldn't necessarily have to be a worker. You know, I immediately jumped to the idea that it was somebody who would have had easy access to her alone. Which would to my mind indicate that it was a worker, but it wouldn't have to be it could indeed be a visitor. And then they may never find out who the who the purpose. Do you think that everybody? Do you think that the workers the male workers there and the former workers anybody who had access to her room over the previous nine month period? Do you think they should be subjected to DNA testing, I think everybody should be subjected to the eight because we just don't know who it is? Also, interviews the doctor on TV. And he said, the only reason why they they knew that she was pregnant is because she was Mony because when you're in a vegetarian states, you can't push a baby out. So they had to help push the baby out. So she went into labor, but her body didn't deliver the baby that oh. Oh. That's the only reason they thought something was wrong with their cushy was moaning because we need a bit carry fit your body. Can't push out a baby. Don't you think? It's weird that they couldn't tell she was pregnant. Well, I I understand that, you know, metropolitan people get metropolitan fully, so. Or under stress, you might not get your period. So I I, but I mean, you could see the belly getting business. There's a baby in there. And and for it to get that much bigger. You would just think people would be paying. And she may. Have you have you Dolly have you had children? I've had three children natural childbirth. And it's painful, and you know, a, yeah. And also, your boobs don't just get bigger. I mean, they change there's coloring that changes. Sometimes there's that line that you get from your belly button. And then also your nipples will sometimes leak milk when you're pregnant. I mean, there's so many changes to your body. Dr. After they asked the doctor. Do you take that she felt the pain and he said, yeah. This is outrageous. Yeah. How would she? Why would she be moaning if she wasn't feeling the pain? God. Aimable? Unbelievable dollywood find this guy. What do you think should happen to him? Well, first of all, I I you know, I think he should get. I think you can't life in jail. I really do has helping legislative person and do that somebody's anymore. Fightbacks themselves. Right. I mean, that's disgusting. It's disgusting. What kind of person does that? Dolly. Thank you. I appreciate your call. And I appreciate your your ideas that it may not have been a worker at all. It may have been somebody who was visiting there. They may never be able to find this person. But I think the first thing you do is rule out those people who are the most obvious suspects, and those are the male workers who have had regular access to her during the nine month period preceding, you know, for somebody who just went to work there month ago, you don't need to test them. But if it's somebody who was working there and left nine months ago, you do need to test them eight hundred eighty eight ten is the telephone number. Let me take a quick break. We'll get your phone calls as soon as we come back..

"Hello and welcome back to another episode of control delete with me. Emma, Ghana talking to interesting creatives about the internet creativity. And everything they've been up to say, my guest today is the brilliant journalist Pandora Sykes. Who is also a friend and also former colleague of mine, so it was really really lovely to catch up with her. And it was a brilliant place to work, and I really really enjoyed all of the people who will on that team Pandora was the fashion editor, and I was the social media editor, and I also loved reading Pandora's blog. She very really interesting, social commentary, and in general just was into the same things as me fell. But like in the industry and now Pandora is doing many different things. He gets that back leg up able to walk a shot. It gets out over the line. Here's a quick shot by boats are coming in the top circle with traffic at front. Sam Reinhart does an excellent job at Glen Queseda, we'll make that glove save and keep the puck alive. Right now. Once again this door is open for the Buffalo Sabres David shooting and shooting every opportunity they have twenty three shots at this point. But they gotta find a way to solve this here. Lanka's looks to his right sabres off the draw. Get it back to rasp Misra. Delighted Eichel out of his skates left wing side down below the goal line gets it back again. And the sabres is going to make him stand around not making the more you keep moving the puck around here. They just pulled to the top drop it down to the side. I'm pump for this. SOGA, then there's non five. The musical the psalms arrow is opening at the Savoy in London in February. So Lord that's showing never going to going broke. You still love singing that song. Fun. I love it because everybody likes to sing along with me here. Yeah, that's a fun thing. What's your favorite song thing? Probably that one for phone. I think I will always love you because every singer, let's sing a ballad. This got slow middle and the end for you saying much as you want, that's always fun to sing. Joe lean. I love to sing to do you have any songs that people love from you? You like, may I I just just. kind of wouldn't sing that anymore. If I didn't have to not have those because I really ever not my audience is different. And I look at like these people came to hear these songs and just because I did it last night for another set of people don't have the right to keep everything. You know anything in because I like to present it every night at like, that's the first time they've heard it live lucky. I know. I'm like she 'Real so much to learn. She sell masterclasses. Awesome. This every time you come in eight all that up. Well, whatever. Yeah, that's a good way to find a masterclass. If you ever do you know Oprah's master class ever heard of it. Okay. You like Dolly Dolly original to it, or you're doing it here right now where you can you're just speaking and talking to people about all your life experiences and where you are and how you got there and feel like you're full of so much wisdom. I'm full of it. All right. Baso getting hope. Hopefully someday I'm going to do kind of like a one woman show to go at and tell me storage and do mellow songs and not have to have a whole big production and just kind of do a little motivational. I'll get often asked to do that. But I guess when you've lived as long as I have and you've been in the business and all facets of it, I've been very blessed in my life and so that in my older years, hopefully I'll have several more..

Probably that one for fun. Yeah. I think I will always love you. Because every singer Lester sang a ballad this got slow middle and the end where you can sing as much as you want. That's always fun to sing. Joe lean I love to sing to do. You have any songs that people love from you. Man. I just wouldn't sing that one anymore. If I didn't have to know. Not only have those because I really every night my audience is different. And I look like these people came to hear these songs and just goes I did it last night for another set of people. Don't mean, I have the right to keep everything, you know, anything in because I like to present it every night. Like, that's the first time. They've heard it live lucky. Well, let me say that has been a treat to talk to you again, Dali whatever you want to sell old hotel story you remember? It's one of the songs played by Kathleen Turner, remember her they own actress, do she's playing the story of old bones, the Claremont woman, it's one of the stories in the heartstrings Soysa. Right. So every time I think of these bones, I think that's another own bones, just bones bones. Avi bones. Whatever you want to sell grills songs. Come by whatever it is. Dolly Parton everybody..

"Clouds, some sun and mild, high seventy one degrees. Six one seven two five four ten to open lines. Anything's fine. It's one thirty four. And I'm looking forward to speaking with you. It would be Kia in Burlington. Hello. Hi, Bradley, gone. I'm so passionate about this. Because I like I said, I feel like human rights and animal rights at the same thing. It comes from the same kind of thinking. But I I want to say that I love the name Veronica to did you did you read the Archie comics when your kid enough to love the name, Veronica, Veronica was the raven haired beauty black lipstick. Right. And I don't think so she had black hair black, shiny black hair. Would like blue highlights in it. And then Betty was the blonde. And I love Betty, but he couldn't Veronica was always after 'em. I think he kind kinda was torn between the two. It was fun. But so I want to just say about I want to kind of correct Veron. It's not really correction. I mean, I agree with her that the the the church the men probably a more sympathetic to males because it's male on male. But I would say it's not about gay. It's pedophilia. It's adult males on children. And and that is just that's a crime, no matter how you look at it. Right. And I would also remind people I believe I could be wrong. But I don't think I'm wrong about this in the beginning. It was about twenty or thirty years ago when children's dot it's adult started speaking up about what happened to them as kids both males and females and people did not believe them and people wanted to shove it under the rug. Nobody wanted to deal with it. And now with the Chuck I mean, it's it's like I said it's been like twenty or thirty years in soda here that the church and so many of them. I mean, it's just impossible to deny that pedophilia happens. I think so that's why people I think are sympathetic to it. But I I do agree with her that it's more natural cement to be attracted to women. And it could be, you know, interpreted Moore's flirting not so much the salt, even though it's not flirting if you forcing someone as far as this case, I I don't know who's telling the truth, and I understand that people are upset on both sides. But I would say that don't we know that the majority of assault. Is by meals on women and children and other meals to don't we know that? I mean, how many of your call is have said to you. They've been assaulted. Yeah. I think it was Cal for Maldon, JoAnne, Veronica and Dolly Quincy Duggan. Glenn, and I want to say about Dolly Dolly said that it was no big deal. The the old man grabbed her upper body parts. But I think it's a very big deal. I mean, it's a very big man thought it was okay to touch her without her permission. If we don't have complete ownership of our bodies, what do we own? I mean, no one should touch you unless you give them permission. I mean, what does freedom mean if we don't at least respect other people's bodies? I and that it's their space. I own my body. I get to decide who touches me if we don't have that of the freedom. What do we have? And then I'll end up with. I was finished with about Cavanaugh. I I people are saying it's about privilege in upper class. And and of course, there is some of that. But I still think it's more about male privilege all over our planet in our country. It's white male privilege in the Middle East. It's Muslim male privilege, and it's all about men only women children and animals, and it's been that way for so long that people I just think we're all condition to not really recognize how insidiously bad this is. And I think that so many of our problems are about this this male privilege and last week. I had set you guys are the best people on the planet. And I really mean that men have always been there for me. But the thing with men is they have a team mentality. And it's really hard for them. Even when they're good guys to go against the broS or their colleagues because I think they've wired to be team players. And I would just say once again, I want the good meals to start standing up against the bad guys and saying it's not right? It's not cool. It's not funny, and we will never have a better world unless we all start sticking together about this. So that's all I have to say about ROY. You bet you. 'cause it's been great lately. Oh, glad you think. So I mean, I'm just so passionate about human rights and animal, I I would want the world to be better for everyone. It makes it breaks my heart to think that little kids are being assaulted animal. The being abused women are being treated badly. I just I can't stand it. It's wrong. And we should all want the world to be a better place for everyone. I mean, I know it sounds idealistic. But I think it's possible. But it's only possible if we all stick together, and I agree with everyone who said of Ron and Mike from Scituate that the senators are too old. But I would say he was Mike was saying Trump Trump too old. I think the cut point should be sixty five four government officials. What do you think? No, I don't know. Seem too old. But his ideas the old he has that male idea about I should be able to do whatever I want. I mean, you know, what he said the things that he said before he was elected. That's an old way of hope. It's an old way of thinking. I hope we're going to a radical it that way of thinking, and we can only do it with your help with you. Good guys. I don't think women can do it alone. We need you guys to help us. We can't do it without. I'm not one of those women who think we don't, you know, some women maybe we don't need. I don't agree that we don't even I need, man. I love men, but I want the good guys not the bad guys. And and also I think I already said this most of a salt is by males. No matter what kind of assaulted. It's by mail. I mean, you had one call, and then I'll hang up you had one caller who said women touched him in the office. And that's not right. I agree with and that's not right. But I doubt he was afraid for his life because females are not physically stronger than males. And unless she's got a gun, and there are some women probably have gone. But again, the guns usually owned by men. I know it's wrong. I don't think men should be treated inappropriately by women anywhere either on the workplace anyway. But I just think it's rare for every. One woman that does that there's a hundred or a thousand Minho doing it. So before you go. Yeah. I has talked to you about your Facebook page posted anything since August ninth posted to things complete. That's oh, you mean on my timeline. Yeah. I I actually have it private while. I'm while I'm creating it. 'cause I'm creating it for when I released my book, then I then I'm going to release my Facebook page, I'm going to open it up. So everyone can see generic little about kindness books. Oh, yeah. I love books. No background photo. I will eventually put that up there. When my books done. Great. Great job. Thank you. Okay. Okay. Now, we have just hit next. We have. Robin. Newton halo. Rob. Hi. I was just wondering. Yep. With the president with more. Do you think the investigation gone a little too long? No. And the sitting president has to deal with this time with a legal matter. No, I don't think so. More important time than a legal matter. Kicked out. Before the next election. Like if nothing had been. Yielded nothing. Maybe you could say that. But it's yielded indictments and and conviction and. I feel like probably right now. They're not releasing anything because it's close to the election. And they don't want to. It's more political indictments instead of actually the president of the United States is devoting time to illegal lawsuit instead of correct on country. NPR? Nothing to do with the president. Right. He has to take his time and go into a wheel lawsuit when he has to run the country. Do you have to do anything? Whereas defend himself. Now, he's just he's not been charged with anything. Right. But he has to. Be involved with the investigation. Cavanaugh has a theory that a sitting president should be should not be charged with a crime. Because he has more to do depends on the level of the crime. Right. And this is not a high crime is up election crime political crime. We we figure out in four years. He's already out on offense is the American voters come on. I'm not gonna argue with you. You can just go ahead and say, whatever you want. Whatever you want to say, I know I'm not going to change. I know I'm going to say. No matter what if you have to devote more time or sometime to a non violent not from the American people have put you into office. You shouldn't have to defend yourself until four more years until you get elected again or not voted in. Enough. Thanks, tom. Thank you. And. Say I don't know why. My mouse is sluggish today. We have Kyle Carl in Marblehead Carl. Hi, bradley. Hey. On the question of, you know, why wait so long? When you. True, a traumatic situation. Just to talk about it is to relive it. And. Not only is she really experiencing all the trauma. She initially went through. But. She's getting the don't believe it feedback. As for the timing when she heard that this person who did what she considered to be terrible things to her. And I think that we can agree that if what she says is true. He did the notion that he should dense it on the supreme court certainly would trigger response for her. The political timing comes in when the Senator she. Broader story to wait three weeks. To pop it. Into the public. That's that's the political timing there. Initially wanted to remain anonymous. Yeah. Again, honored that he wanted to remain in hiding, right? This is an experience. She's she's not she doesn't want to be public about. Nobody wants to be public about that kind of experience. Do you go talking about your sex life with everyone know, and if you had a very bad experience, would you want everyone to know, no? So actual right. Not come out not want to be public. That's go ahead. I agree. Yeah. Most people don't people don't believe me. But for me, I think it was be the retribution they heap. Retribution on you, like an even hill tried to take away or tenure maybe that won't be the case anymore. But it certainly was you you you are punished. You is bad news. Yep. And of course, she's getting you know. Not only are those there who don't believe her. But she's been getting guest threats. I mean, you know, who would want to come forward. I was told that there was some big giant guy during the hearings that was her bodyguards. Yeah. They have a bodyguard who would wanna come forward? She came forward out of a sense. It seems like out of a sense of duty and would want to do that. Yep. So these people were saying. Why did she wait so long? Well, it's it's not something you're going to act on the timing. Well, of course, faced with the choice of speaking up or seeing what a person you consider. It'd be terrible become a Justice in the supreme court. That's a tough choice. I appreciate the comment. Thank you very much. Thank you. Bye. Welcome. One thing to consider in addition to anything to do with sexual. Would be just the suitability. Of red cavenaugh me to be on the highest court in the land. Did he seem suitable to you? Did he seem? Non-political because you really should be nonpolitical as you can be. He went on an interview on Fox News. And he's talking about the Clintons. That's that's hyper-political. And that's not how you should be.

"Well, she'll go back for it for the sabres. Well, Asplund aspirin can't get it out. But that's going to be taken by knee Lander. And he does get it out Ogilby. Now takes it for below. Almost like they ball. Sorry interrupted. It's like they're in retreat motive, hey, we are up to there's only three minutes left here. Let's let's be safe here with the puck. The sabres are well Powell used his speed to try to tip the puck forward and does goes behind the net to Cornell lax, and we'll keep it in on the right point. He takes a shot that steered away by Blackwood. Goes behind the net. Cornell tried to get it out in front couldn't do it. Because MacLeod he hilltop and the devils. "I wasn't interested in giving in and that section distant exist in the second translation, nor there was no lips this. It just wasn't there. And there are courts from friends of dully that talk about his interest in the bail, physical fall and the beauty of the male body, but he has no interest in having sex with. But essentially, if they don't even interest in the mail typical phone like he is an artist did I mean that autism or do they mean that he's like physically attracted to men, but doesn't wanna sleep with them? Do you know you? Yeah. I'd already nor. So when these translations come from Allen Busqets, it originally written in French came in one thousand nine hundred sixty nine the translation, which I read out. He was homosexual as everyone is madly in love with me. It was published out the time in one thousand nine hundred eighty nine I believe and it was by York him in Noida. So okay. The second one was by Marian course. A book she wrote in two thousand and nine about the relationship between Dali and Federico I in which she was very much taking the angle that it was a romantic relationship. So I can see then why have would have come out with that sort of we tried? But it hurt yet. And and also being later but having an emission. That's not mentioned definitely makes it look like she's the one who's, you know, yet altered the source to fit her argument. Yeah. No. But in my case, I feel like the fact that we know from other sources that Dolly is just generally not interested in sex means that you can't rate. The fact that he resisted Federico's sexual advances as something so it doesn't preclude romantic relationship. Yes. If Dolly is a sexual or some other reason, I mean given that they got to the point where Federico felt comfortable making a sexual advance upon Dali. Yeah. Which seems to be happening quite a while after they've met. Yeah. And which he apparently does more than once he apparently like asks twice. Yeah. Different occasions. Kind of indicates to me that there was at least a very very intense relationship. Whether or not you could qualify that as romantic. Yeah. Is out to I guess the people who were involved to we cannot, unfortunately, speak to for this podcast different podcast. It would be. It would be anyway, it's not the Dolly has no interest in sex at all his interest is just not in having it himself. Basically, he's not interested in like touching other people having other people touch himself. He does write about masturbating. But we know that he does that. And he and his wife also joined throw orgies, which he doesn't participate in. But he does watch later on in his life, his sort of enjoyment of life. Watching other people have sense appears in his relationship with Federico on able to have sex with Federick himself. Whether that's just because he doesn't want to or because it doesn't look for him. Keep us waded federate Curtis sleep with a mutual friend of this woman called moderate a month. So well, he watched. Okay, that's very straight. Yes. So I feel like if Federico and Dolly on having six volubly a sexual relationship between Federico end-all. Yes. That was definitely my feeling. About it's not a direct like sexual interaction. But it's definitely a sexually aggressive sex by proxy. Yes. I I don't know any other real way to describe the NAR. So when you say he persuaded Federico upset with the mutual friend who to like where does the account of how this happened come from Dolly Dolly himself, according to Dolly Dolly says he persuaded Margarita to sleep with Federico and that Margarita before I used is replaced him in the sacrifice. Okay. Which sales weird. But I feel these less. We'd get rid of that Dalian Federico. I don't really go into it a lot. But when they talk about their relationship that use a lot of like references to Catholic saints and religious imagery in that kind of thing. So I feel it makes it a little bit less. So what you're saying? Is that ferric hasn't really not but his self? Yeah. That's what I'm saying. As return also if you're following on from the tone of by ocean, a piece of my divide asshole, whatever like waste him in the soccer Feis is like directly totally in line with accents as a way to phrase that if that's that's true..
