"Of a code as they give out all right all right all right. Maybe i'll maybe i'll do it. I signed up your code. Get like i any more than that. I use my code tier. Three noah fant dallas scattered. Tyler higby curious about all these guys. Teddy bridgewater the starting quarterback in denver announced today. What what does that mean. Joe for fans and the rest of the broncos pass catching. I think it means it's going to be more consistent and and you know we know what teddy bridgewater is probably a top thirty two quarterback but probably not in the in the area where a gene isn't looking to upgrade or him but i think he's somebody who can competently get the ball in the hands of receivers and remembering carolina. He supported three top. Twenty five fantasy wide receivers last year so no fan. I think's going to benefit from that. I think he's one of the top three targets here along with jerry. Judy who might love and courtly sutton this year of no advancement dealing with some injuries in training camp and still wanna see that level of consistency out of him. There are some questions about him. Which is why he's in this tier. He's vying for targets with judy sutton in k. J. hamblur and tim patrick and they're going to run the ball so you there's there's a level of concern there when it comes to dallas qatar. Zakar is still in philadelphia. That's the concern is zakar. It's wasn't wasn't in philadelphia. I'd have got her above logan. Thomas at that's where i had him earlier this off season but you have to adjust based on news or the lack thereof so unfortunately ross. that was. that was the problem with dow wisconsin. I think he's more talented than earth. At this point hurts has been looking for him in camp. But they're still the competition with zach. Ertz there tyler. Higby last year. One of the breakout. But he split snaps gerald everett. Gerald everett's gone. They add over one hundred and thirty targets combined magic stafford's in but they still viewed as a rotational player. They have bryson hopkins whom they drafted in the fourth round last year. Very clearly with the eye towards gerald everett moving on in the off season which happened then. They drafted jacob harris this season. So i still have questions on higby if you were to ask me who. I feel the best about from this year in terms of roll. It would be higby though. I just don't know how many targets he's gonna get how much bryson hopkins gonna play. How much jacob harris fly. So i know he's in your tier five or whatever but i really think irks looks good man. I mean when i had been eagles practices urges look good. He stayed after the walk through to catch extra balls. You look good in the first preseason game when he got time you know. I think he's a really interesting one. There's all that speculation. he's not gonna be there. I don't i mean. I kind of feel like it was going to happen. It would have already. But but dude. I'm telling you he. He looks good. He looks like the zach ertz. we knew from fifteen through nineteen. Or whatever. And i think..

I know science and that is faulty science. Okay so just. Forget that and forget people like brian who don't love that song. What a loser. It doesn't love that song. The song is amazing. You know who else is amazing joe. Everybody that went to fan tracks dot com slash raw so far to be in our season long league people like our first three contestants or entrance. Whatever we call norm physique. Ius ben molins josh. Epion jer epping. Or i don't know come on down. You guys are in the season long. I don't know how many i'm going to pick next week. 'cause going to start the draft at some point. I might pick the other eight next week or the other three plus the other seven next week. So go to fan tracks. Dot com slash. Ross now send me your email. Ross at ross tucker dot com and tell me you want in in the season-long redraft league against me and joe what i want. Joe is i want your tight end tears and this is incredible by the way i mean. We've been doing this for a couple of years. Now we've been doing the tears you named a tier after a player. yeah we. We've never seen this before. There is now a kelsey tear explain. Yeah it just. It's a separate i. It's just a complete separation of the player from the rest of everybody else so much. So that he's even above my elite tier of tight ends now ross. This is not the first time i've done. This is first time. We've done this on the program. But it's not the first time i've done this. There used to be at cronk tier where he was so far and above the rest of the tight ends that it wasn't even fair to call it in a league. Here it was the gronk tear. It's the travis kelsey tear. He's the tight end you pick in the first round. He very rarely goes in second if he does go in the second. It's an utter steal your his ranks in p. pr fantasy points per game over. "Not especially a lot of people having trouble fire. People are finding people to hire these days tier five. I read it off. Lock it i- euch chase and jones. Wow i mean. I think it's interesting that you got you over deebo and i also think it's interesting. You've got like the youngest receiver in the league. Jase and the oldest receiver in the league. Julio jones and the same dear yes so these are guys that have a lot of consistency questions. I think if you can you wanna make an argument brandon. I you could be in. Its here higher. Because i feel pretty damn good about him at san francisco's ex But when a couple of let's just break down some of the other guys tyler lockett. This is a guy who had massive ceiling last year but a very very very low floor that has been established over the last couple of years. He's somebody who is much better in best ball. I mean is destroyed. Some lineups and season-long where you plug them in there and you're like oh my god. He got two catches for fifteen yards. The next week he catches eleven balls for two hundred he. He caught the single. Most inconsiderate title caught one hundred passes last year but they were completely inconsistent. His his production was not near the level of decay. Metcalf in terms of consistency. So i i mean tiber lock catching one hundred balls last year. I think that would surprise a lot of fantasy players because a lot of that production came in just a few games. Here's here's some examples. Seven catches for sixty seven yards and a touchdown nine catches for one hundred yards and three touchdowns fifteen catches for two hundred yards and three touchdowns twelve catches for ninety yards in two touchdowns. He caught twelve passes in week. Seventeen to get one hundred on the year. By the way nine catches for sixty seven yards and one touchdown. Those are the games in which he scored touchdowns but you had games of two for thirty nine four for thirty three four forty three for twenty three four for thirty four three for forty four. Those are not usable fantasy games but the other weeks were blow up. So i kind of feel like. There's a blow up vibe here for tyler. Lockett makes it more appealing in best ball. Julio jones to me far more appealing in best ball he doesn't have to be the alpha dog anymore with aj brown. They're the titans have essentially said we're going to be conservative with him We know he's had injury problems. I i could see him being a guy who has a few blow up weeks and is a complete ethnic the rest of the way tomorrow as being rookie. He's my highest rated rookie here with the up and down for joe borough in camp. I'm not really comfortable putting him any higher than this. Let's get to your next tier. Joe and that is tier six parentheses. Another.

"Multiple different roster bills. Okay now we get to tear for mike evans cooper cup deontay johnson. Dj more. so. I guess. I feel like i'm losing my mind a little bit. Joe like mike evans is tier four but yet. Gd lambs tier two and woods. Feeling and cooper are tier three. This is a weird tear. A mike lavigne's actually. I was in the consideration for putting him in tier three however. The had some injury problems and the thing about tampa bay. Last year's they didn't have a ton of consistency in terms of who was getting targets. And you know one of the things that that. I'll just throw out there just in case we don't get to later. Antonio brown's super productive last year he Unlike he basically was playing like half the offense of snaps. I kind of feel like. He's being super. Undervalue chris. godwin was a disappointment last year. it's just more of. I'm not sure what to do with my gavin's where you know. If i look at for instance a guy like alan robinson. I know our robinson's going to have a massive target share despite some quarterback questions. I'm not one hundred percent. Certain mike evans gets that massive target share even though he's brady's deep threat and red zone guy otherwise this is kind of a miss mosh. There's like a hooper cup argument to be the number two receiver on his own. Tv's the second guy of listed here from from the rams is he more of a low at-at guy while stafford might stretch the field to other guys valid question. You look at dj more. And i'll be quite frank not a not a guy drafted a ton of because i have huge questions about sam. Darnold the johnson. I wonder is he going to be a guy who's consistently going to have a low average depth target and if the steelers run the ball more is that going to be a problem for his fantasy production even though he is my favorite of the steelers wide receivers at least in terms of straight out. Rankings sees my favorite. But there's a guy we're going to talk about later. Who is my favorite steeler receiver to actually draft at cost. Yeah just out.

"Year. I think metcalf in hopkins are interesting because now they got. Aj green there and for metcalf. You know there's tyler lockett yeah well lock. It's a guy who's inconsistent. I'm sure we might talk about him later. But he's a guy who's a much better best ball player but de que metcalfe's a really special player. I just don't see how things are going to go down like his game to game consistency was outstanding last year. He saw five plus targets in fifteen of sixteen games and score double digit fantasy points. In twelve of sixteen games. Tyler lockett really his only competition for volume. I think it's another one hundred. Twenty twenty-five targets are on the docket for decay. Mccafe these guys. You're in the interior one at behind my elite tier. I think you can make an argument. For calvin ridley to go towards the elites here but the elite here those guys. I have great in his first round picks in fantasy. All of these guys. I have graded as second round. Picks in fantasy there could be some overlap from tier two tier. But these guys. I have graded a second round. Picks for fantasy man. Let me them. If i have a pit. I talked about this on the running back. Show if i am in the position to pick dea evolving cook or christian mccaffrey at the top of my draft. And i get one of these guys men. Do i feel like i'm cooking. I like i just feel like that is a l. of a star so i think the first pick some years. The first pick isn't as important as it is this year some years. The number one number two guys aren't clear. Cut sometimes the back end of the second round is a massive drop off from the front end of the second round that makes drafting at the back end of the first round. Much more appealing. Not this year. I love the end of the second round. I love the top third round. Pick an early to cheat code some of these receipt. Receivers of the reason. Why.

Yeah you bet so. One of the initiatives that we've got going on right now is trying to scale our on boarding process trying to scale our customer education process and so i- host to open our series for the company the first one is called new customer webinars and it's designed for customers in their first thirty days. Tell them to get acclimated. Software learn how it works. Learn some use cases and then the second series. I host automation hours and in the automation hours. What we do is we help. Customers have been with us for plus modestly around that area and we on one of our amazing partners. Join us and talk about some more advanced topics really revolving around. Yeah that we've got to automate yet. The most success out of our software not about baseball. I know automation hours. Have come in really handy especially during covid trying to work on their make. Sure that it's functioning need it. Would that be honor now. Is i think when you're working in your business. That's when you're like you're not putting out fires and you're just like everything's just going in years. I'm just following along your day as managing you working on your businesses that outside in approach What's working what's not. How can it be more intentional. I think there's a lot to do right now. Is is pivot is the word. I love the geller. Mantra they saw. Hey i can't do business the way that i was before i've got a pivot somehow and that's really how the automation hours reborn like. We were going to have these going for two weeks as we find the curve and it was going to be done jokes on us. It's still going and so we have to go. And it's been a really really wealth of just good information and actionable content or just people over and over. And we've actually raiders to come and join us for every single session with great And so it's just great those customers out there that know that one of the best can do for your business get educated. Be able to know. Hey there's probably things out there that i don't know it's that vulnerability i talked about the such a failed entrepreneur like we have to be vulnerable in order for us to get better. You go to the doctor and you've got some sort of chest pain in the ass. You how you're doing. You're saying. Ben tastic dot can ever better like you're going to have a hard time. I've actually gone to the doctor with my mom or and they asked that question and she's listed like twenty things wrong with their before we get there and she's like oh he's been really good and i'm looking at her like no. We're getting into this today. So i'm like what about all these things doc looking at her like how could you say you're good with all these example. I know and that's really cool that it that it just took off like that you know you were only planning on having it a couple of weeks and here we are. That's amazing now. Do you see that these new customers have some common issues that that you also have. When you're starting your business i mean. I know we haven't gotten to that yet. So i know i'm jumping ahead. But the reason why people jump into these webinars to fill any kind of needs that they have. I think for me. The the common thread that i've seen is in. It's kind of but the idea of follow up. that's the global. There's different ways that we follow up that we follow up but follow up his always the common theme. It's an idea of something has occurred. And now i need to react to it and i don't do and so helping customers realized that one is that. Hey there's stimuli out there that usually react to and helping you understand how you can react and what tools you have at your disposal calva. Sylvia that reaction
Anniversary marks victory for inclusion at FDR Memorial in Washington DC
"This month marks the 20th anniversary of a wheelchair being added to a presidential memorial in D. C. It's being celebrated by disability advocates as a victory for inclusion. Getting a statue of Franklin Delano Roosevelt in his wheelchair. Added to the already built memorial was a fight. But 16 of his grandchildren and 50 disability organizations were onboard. Having that image is important for representation to remind people of what is possible. Mary Dolan of the FDR Memorial Legacy Committee. It's also just accurate. That's how he lived his life. Why would we hide that? Dolan says The committee now is appealing to the National Park Service to address flooding and upkeep and improve the memorial experience for the visually impaired. How 'Bout Dem Apple Seeds
"Okay thomas we are talking about apple's today. Why don't you tell our listeners. Even got started down this weird little apple path so a few weeks ago i saw video of a dude eating apple from the bottom. And you know. I it up to the pitch me and at the time all i wanted to find out from the team was whom amongst us was with me in eating the entire. It was just way to start to get the conversation going. Yeah i remember. And i was horrified to find out so many members of our team eat the whole apple. We were pretty divided down the middle. Yeah that's right and the discussion led to the possible dangers of eating the apple seeds. Some of us had heard they might be toxic. Some of us hadn't so here we are chatting away about them apples and the science behind whether or not you can eat the core why we are here. Today is pretty cool. Yeah totally and i found a food. Scientists to help explain it all could also My name is islami outs. For last shoddy. I am senior lecturer in the department of food. Science outsider jackets ally investment technology. Islamia is a few scientists beast in nigeria and she told me on the one hand apples. Are these magical fruits. That are really nutritious. And good for you apple's Poplar fruits us are reaching nutrients such as anti oxidants minera house vitamese dietary fiber is an auditor nutrients but their seats are different than their flesh. Yeah exactly what i'd always heard. Is that apple. Seeds have like some amount of cyanide in them you know like generally not something that is good for humans i mean yes and no i asked islam yacht to explain it and it's a little more complicated seeds that is in the center of harpool copy above causing poisoning because the seed contains it compounds. That is called. I mean. I lean mick. Dolan is a compound that's found and lots of natural plants and things that humans eat such as apples but also peaches apricots and almonds. They're is a similar compound and cassava he staple in nigeria and on its own mattie in seeds a midland is usually harmless to people no concerns there but what is potentially concerning is when digestive enzymes in our bodies come in contact with the michelin and when they combine the enzyme breaks away the sugars in the dylan and leaves cyanide which could potentially lead to cyanide poisoning. What do you mean. Potentially thomas say more. Well the conditions have to be just right mattie for this to be more of a concern for starters the midland in apple seeds is encased by pretty tough outer layer in order to expose them make the land to our digestive enzymes have to chew those seeds really really. Well okay i get it and even whole eating monsters like you. Thomas are generally crushing those seeds down to a fine pace with your teeth right exactly. Mattie as much as i love that tidal more importantly though there's not enough apple seeds in one or two apples to really show in effect on our bodies the amount of cyanide that does get formed if at all our livers are pretty good at filtering out those hawks
Francisco Lindor: New Hope For Mets Fans?
"For a big splash. A big domino to tip over and the mlb off season and we got one yesterday. The new york. Mets acquired francisco lindores and carlos carrasco from the cleveland indians for two shortstops in two minor leaguers and enormous transaction. How surprised are you that this happened not surprised at all. Buster olney is the host of the baseball tonight partly cast and he has been covering baseball for more than three decades. Look the last few years there had been so much industry speculation about when would the indians trade lynn door. In fact a couple of years ago. Paul dolan their owner told that the fan base look. Enjoy while you can. Because it was an assumption he was going to be traded. I think if not for the pandemic he would have been traded in the middle of last summer so the indians move in now and the fact that the mets were the buyers. That's not surprising either. Because i think mets fans have been waiting for Steve owns team to to make a big move and he certainly did that. And getting the best shortstop in baseball. Yeah i want to ask you about the cleveland side of the equation in a little bit. But i i wanna dive into the buyer that you mentioned because steve cohn buster. The mets new owner hedge fund billionaire self identifying proudly so diehard mets fan from long island. He's been on twitter. I'll off season making very loud noises about this being a new different kind of organization. You know we want to be excellent in all areas of this game That's going to require resources. And i'm fully committed to making that happen. He is so monumentally. Wealthy i mean he was one of the few people who didn't lose money in this pandemic shortened twenty twenty season. So what does this tell you about the promise of his regime yeah. He's the richest owner in baseball. Now and i. I wrote a piece Free espn dot com. That for mets fans who have suffered through their. Ptsd of the wilpon. Yes this is that the finally they get their reward were they have an owner. Who's willing to go toe to toe with the yankees owner. Who bills a team. That has continued success. I don't just want to get into the playoffs. I want to win a championship. You know through the years. Since i've been working in the new york market the assumption whenever a really big name came up. Was that the yankees. Probably elbow the mets out of the way and they would get the players in the in. The mets would operate like an upper middle class team rather than a big market team and this deal signals a change in that. But what i do believe. Is this a major markelle tune during the should have a budget to measure with the yankees coulda used shortstop. There are other big market teams. That could use a shortstop. And the mets get the best shortstop so because you are a veteran of the new york market i need to know how is indoor going to help reshape. Just the identity of the team itself because i mean nolan reported future about him. We'll get to that a bit as well but just how good is he. What's potential here well. He's the perfect player for the mets right. Now he's an elite defensive shortstop smash back can't buy off-balance throw in recent years jacob. Degrom has been great. Despite the fact that mets have been really poor on defense. It's shorts especially they need more lineup. Ballots lindores a switch hitter. They could use more power drill door with law. Law door hits for power. They could use speed lindores does that. He looked like the road runner as he took off from first base and he absolutely has the personality to be the face of a franchise in new york. You talking about someone who loves to play is nicknamed mr. smile. Hangmen fans absolutely will gravitate toward him. Yeah
Cleveland Indians changing name after 105 years
"Cleveland indians won't be the indians anymore. Cleveland indians confirming statement monday. They've begun the process of changing their name to a non native american related. Moniker this afternoon. Clubs sites as months of internal discussion as well as talks with the native american community. However team owner. Paul dolan told the associated press the name. "One welcome into the yours Metro Kerry Kayes. Mental. Health. PODCAST. My Name's Yvette and stay on chatting to izzy staten. Jesus social? Media. Star. Who Talks about all things mental health on her tiktok Youtube and instagram and she's also a singer. We're going to be chatting about life online eating disorders and making music. is He thought much protecting welcomed does all thank you for having me on so excited to be chatting to honest. For several reasons. But nicely, because you WANNA stunned Tiktok your big puzzle take home and I'm very excited about that. Also bit sketches like. The understanding TIKTOK. So I think the best thing is district took about a why did you decide to start talking about mental health stuff on that platform? Well, I talk about my mental health problems on all social media platforms specifically because I have. Known a school borderline personality disorder. which has quite a lot of negative connotations around it about like stereotypically will people alike with it and I wanted to show people you lot of different people that you wouldn't expect might have. and so that was ready wireless. So vocal on social media platforms and take talks a great. site to solve tell funny stories from your podcast, and because I've been mentally ill for quite a while. Most of like my funny entertaining stories are often around that. Yeah really love it over Steph. Sort of check out your account is really great end enough sort of how frank you're TIKTOK. Really interesting. I think it's one of those things that people my age of. Any like sued if anyone twenties is still kind of going on this thing, I would we actually do with it but basically frank chats with people. Just speak your mind and also you've got to adorable dog Seeing Ahmad, about dokes Bichon FRISE is that right? Yes, she is a beach on free say She's fiery key. She's the love of my life. Yeah. Already her on there as well I think it kind of helps keep things light between. Sometimes. It's a bit hard just by mental health stuff but you will say. Your Doable Dolan there as well. So it's nice to have the mixture. On Yeah She's always Kind of response if you had some people, do you have a find it difficult to just about your mental health them in that sort of way because I know that people combative. That can sort of get into into dams. That sort of stuff have you found it? When I was younger, actually my school didn't assembly about time that I had tried to kill myself. which was the first time I'd ever have people of coming into my DM's saying, Oh, I, heard this happened to you and you get a now with talking about it as well. You get a lot of people that will dm you and say, Oh, I'm ready struggling with my mental health and sometimes it's difficult because if you integrate place with your mental health, it's very difficult to help others and you can feel of responsibility when you have a load of twelve, thirteen, fourteen year olds mass you saying that they're ready L. and they need a little help and then getting it so it can be a lot to take but generally. I don't, mind if. People make. Negative commands all criticize me talking about it because I personally don't see a problem was talking about it. I'm very careful about what I say I didn't give people especially in regards to Anorexia or self. self-harm a lot of people when they talk about it can accidentally give tips. I'm very careful with that so I have. I'm like a Schule that what I'm saying is not going to negatively impact people. Some people think on the Internet you'RE GONNA end up offending someone. Yeah. Couse. Do you have sort of boundaries in place in terms of what should go online and instead of what you'd have? Generally, I try not to follow too many people with mental health issues I mean I. Obviously I follow a lot like to have variety or I think you can sometimes become too consumed and people can post a lot of. Quite upsetting sometimes because people can pass like I'm feeding ready down. Awful. So I sort of like to try and keep a variety to make sure that I didn't become too embroiled in just the negative stuff. This is all new to me to be honest Kazakhstan. The TIKTOK side of things new to Mina city of on Youtube another social platforms. But for me sort of twisters, the place that I. Got It to chat to be about mental health stuff generally, and I'm still getting to grips with TIKTOK. What was the community like on Tiktok in terms of mental health checks on a straight feels fairly supportive of. TIKTOK is very supportive on it's mostly. So of Gen, Z. Kids. And I think as a whole always really sports each other the thing about Tiktok that's quite different to a lot of other platforms is that every time you release a video, it can be seen by a whole new audience of people. If it gets picked up by the Algorithm, it will get to it can go out to hundreds and thousands of people. and so you're always interacting with a new audience. From tiktok in. Particular I've never had many negative comments to be honest. They've always been really quite leaned.
Groundcovers With Ken Druse
"You know that I used to love for its variegated sort of silvery and green leaves. kind of almost looks like an IV ish Gr-. vining but low prostrate thing lamb the astrum galley. Dolan Yellow Archangel which you know thirty or more years ago when I planted it, it was like a coveted thing. And now it's on the invasive list in the North West and it's invading into woodland's as the climate warms. In. The Northeast and you're starting to see it on the invasive list in in new areas and so forth and I, have suddenly forty miles of it in my garden because it no longer stays. You know within a reasonable range. So I mean maybe we should I say what's the ground cover and what do we want to use anyway, right Okay The me okay. I. Think a ground cover is a plant that increases in numbers over time but does not run away or spread too fast it's usually we'd suppressing that's what we hope and we have a couple of those. And you think of ground cover is something you can walk on, but there's not a whole lot of plants that will tolerate. Being walked on besides grass lawn but a ground cover is anything that could do what I suggested I. You know spread a bit and suppress weeds and it could be seven feet tall. It can be a big SHRUB and I've seen that. But. I. Guess. What do you think is that just about it? Yeah, and and like what you said you know we think when we hear if you hear the phrase ground cover, you would think, oh, turf can walk on it but there really ain't no such things I mean there are so few things that can tolerate that I mean maybe creeping timing lawn, you could technically walk on but you know really almost none of them so So yeah. So it can be any hide I completely agree it's it's it's maybe a living mulch is. Is the. cloudy a west of landscape designer of fido studios. She says, plants are the MULCH. You know that's one of her key phrases that we need to remember and I think in a way. Like I have a lot of masses of ground cover. Like Geranium Macrocosm, the big route Geranium. Yeah and doesn't seed around doesn't it is rise Amadeus, but the rise zones don't spread sideways underground. It's of like it sounds big route on the surface. So, I find that he's unit, you can just edit it. You can pull out a bunch and throw it away and so forth but it gives you weed suppression that you were talking about right it's it's it's a living mulch It shades the ground under the trees and shrubs. Moishe helps keeps moisture and etcetera etcetera, but it's not so rambunctious that it's troublemaker It won't jump out of where it was where you intended to be. Does that make sense? Yes. There was one plant here. Twenty six years ago that some. People before I bought this place planted and I'm still. I'm still a ratting in this year. It was it was a ground cover this year. I think it almost eight the house. And the it's. Tonia. Oh Yeah Tuna however that Chameleon plant that's a nightmare. That's actually one of the most popular stories on my website ever is one of us visited from Google searches is about can I get? How can I get rid of? You know how can I kill this plant still full fill fold on Mare plant? Yeah. We've mentioned it before it is nightmare plant but but the draining macaroni him by comparison, it only exists in the places I, put it in though I started with a few plants I now have large expanses of it. It means that I don't have to weed. Those beds as often nearly evergreen even here in zone five B and you know it just does a really good We'd suppressing kind of a job. But then there's like the Lambda Strom. which wants to take over the earth and. So. Forth. So then you're you participated in its takeover. Bid And so. There's lots of things and we should say, of course, the disclaimer as ever. What is invasive in one place or becoming invasive is again, the temperature shift the the weather the climate shifts is. Is Not, the same as in another place something may self. So in Georgia that doesn't self so in Michigan and In the neighborhood yeah. Depending on soil types and exactly. There's so many things that you can grow like your angelic. I cannot grow that right for you that. COMES UP YEAH so. So I mean, the classic things that

The Worker Shortage Mystery
"It is a tough time to be looking for work. We're hearing stories all over the country dozens and dozens of people competing for a single job opening there just aren't a lot of open positions right now unless you're chat Dolan, we have so many jobs open. You wouldn't believe it chat president of Midwest, staffing in Minneapolis they help companies hire workers. All over Minnesota and Chad says, he has a ton of open jobs. Let's see. So we place welders, we place machine, operation? People General Labor where how shipping and receiving we have an entry level HR role and administrative assistant role I e reading me a list of like what you're currently hiring for. Yes. Just some of the ones were curly hiring for. We have hundreds and hundreds of open job orders right now. Meaning Chad wants to hire hundreds and hundreds of people for full-time jobs with benefits. So Chad has basically the Oprah of jobs out there like you get a job, you get a jog, everybody gets a job except Chad says, he cannot find people to take these jobs. So I have been in this industry for over twenty years. Never in my career have I experienced a situation where we literally have people to work, but they won't go back to work. I mean, we have clients who saved US five people a week. If you can find them for us, we can't find them and when it first started happening chat thought I know what's going on here? What's been challenging for us our our average pay rates it's all about the Benjamins, our average pay rates for candidates. Anywhere from fourteen to eighteen dollars an hour, we weren't able to pay them enough to put them back to work. So Chad, was doing the math back in April when government was paying out in extra six hundred dollars in unemployment as part of the cares act that Congress passed back in March and Chad found was that people could actually make more money off of their unemployment benefits than they would by taking one of his jobs and. It was not just Chad's Math pro-west that led him to the conclusion a situation where I called a candidate up I explained the job to them. It was. It's exactly what they've done in their past and literally laughed at me and hung up the phone they laughed at him. That's crazy. Chad thought as long as those extra benefits earn place getting people to take these jobs is going to be a problem but when that extra. Six hundred dollars went away the end of July Chad's problem didn't. So it was not the six hundred dollars. Chad started thinking about other possibilities like maybe it's the location like maybe there just aren't a lot of people looking for jobs in Minneapolis right now but that doesn't really seem to explain the mystery either because right across town from Chad Keith rose says he's been desperately looking for work. Keep is an audio visual technician he worked. At a company setting up for Conferences Expos back in March he was furloughed for two months and then another two months and another, and since the pandemic started I am over one hundred thirty applications and I've had only eighth interviews since then and I've had no job offers. So every day Keith wakes up and checks his job alerts he sends resumes and meets with his career counselors. He even has a spreadsheet on his computer where he logs. Job He's applied to he says, the competition is overwhelming and he's just not getting many calls back at times. It's kind of a bit of an emotional beatdown I have. Just been fighting this uphill battle and. Constantly getting the form. Thank you for your application, but you're not exactly what we're looking for. At this time, we encourage you to continue to look at our career site for any further opportunities you you might be qualified for Keith's family relies on his income. His wife is high risk for contracting corona virus and cannot go back to work Keith son just graduated from college and is living at home. He says, money is getting tight, but he says that is not the only reason that he wants to go back to work for me workers having the sense of purpose I want to be in a position where I'm making a contribution to something or to someone. That's just the way, I-. hardwired I guess, and that's what I want to be doing. I don't do well sitting down and doing nothing. So on one side of town, you've got demand for Labour you've got Chad sing his all these open jobs that he needs to fill on the other side of town. You've got supply of Labor you've got Keith saying he desperately wants job and he's looking and looking and he can't find one and there are reports of this kind of situation happening all over the country right now. So what is going on? I get this question all the time that tiny shareholder. Senior economist at the economic policy. Institute my first question variety is there like some kind of worker shortage happening the answer to that is just an absolute no. Right now, there are quite literally more than eight million more unemployed people than job openings. So there's an absolute excess of workers who need jobs over and above job openings that are posted. Heidi says if there were an actual worker shortage, we would see wages going up for jobs because when employers truly can't find workers, they start offering more money for those

Then I'll drive the Josh. Meanwhile, I have Hollywood Brown and Terry McLaren and Mile Sanders and these are all high upside breakout guys but things could go awry. I'm going to draft Matt Ryan. So and if you're in between, you can draft Carson Wentz but those are my three main quarterback kind of commandments here I mean my three main quarterback targets. That those middle rounds is where I really wanted to attack the quarterback and and that's that's one thing. I. If you WanNa hire and quarterback like a Shawn Watson Dak Prescott. I always compare it to the old pornography analogy. You know when you see it and if the rest of the board, all your targets in the fifth and sixth around at wide receiver are gone. And you're like man, I don't like any of the receivers or the running backs here. That's what I think I can endorse switching over to the quarterback tab and pull in the draft button on like Dak Prescott. Commandment. Number four Mr Dolan. It's a great year to go dumpster diving. It's tight end position and very rarely do I say this but I really like some of these late round tight ends this year and I'm not saying like if you don't get one of the top four and that's that's kiddle Kelsey. IRKS and Mark Andrews Erz and Andrews by the way have been slipping into the fifth round, which is pretty appealing to me at the stage. But if I don't get one of those big for more inclined to wait like four or five rounds and then go to get a TJ Hopkinson plus Janis Smith's or an Eric Ibrox plus a rob Gronkowski. Dr. Rachel Dolan Discusses The Antipsychotic Drug Epidemic
"Welcome to the healthcare policy podcast on the host David Intra. Kosovo. With me today Dr Rachel Dolan the US House of Representatives ways and Means Committee majority staffer to discuss the majority staffs recently released report titled Under enforced and over prescribed. ANTIPSYCHOTIC drug epidemic ravaging America's nursing homes. Dr Dole and welcome to the program. I David thanks so much for having me. Please call me Rachel. While this'll be the last time Dr Dolan's bio is posted on, of course, the podcast website. In testimony before the House Energy and Commerce Committee two, thousand seven, the FDA's Dr David Graham stated quote. Unquote. Fifteen thousand adults elderly people in nursing homes are dying each year from the off label use of antipsychotic medications. For an indication that the FDA knows the drug doesn't work the problem has been only FDA for years and years close quote. Legal the FDA does provide a black box warning label. Regarding off label use of these drugs, eleven years later, Human Rights Watch published a report titled They Want Docile. How. Nursing homes in the US overmedicated people with dementia. The report found in two thousand, sixteen, seventeen quote unquote massive use or abuse of Anti Psychotics, for example, Sarah. Quel. Doll and Rispler doll that have serious side effects including sudden cardiac death. The human rights report estimated in an average week over one hundred, seventy, nine, thousand, long-stay Nursing Home Facility patients who administered antipsychotic drugs. Without a diagnosis which the drugs are indicated or approved rover, polar disorder and schizophrenia in testimony the ways and means. Committee. Heard this past November Richard Mollet Executive Director of the Long Term Care Community coalition concluded quote the use of San Anti psychotics in skilled nursing facilities is so extensive that puts the US in violation of internal conventions and covenants on torture and cruel inhumane and degrading treatment or punishment. Close quote. This is my third related interview. In December twenty twelve I discussed the topic with Diana Zuckerman. And in February, eighteen high interviewed Hannah Lamb who authored the above mentioned human rights report. With me again to discuss the ways and means report just released titled Under enforced and over prescribed is Rachel Dolan the reports lead author. So that Rachel as background let's get right into this or immediate neatly into the specifics of the report. What did the report find regarding the extent to which? They're persists overuse or misuse of anti psychotics in skilled nursing. David. So the report showed what what you what we would expect from your introduction, which is the use of antipsychotic does persist in nursing homes across the country and it remains quite high and not of course, has implications for patient safety and and health We found in the fourth quarter of Twenty nineteen approximately twenty percent of all skilled nursing facility residents in the US. So that's about two, hundred, Ninety, eight, thousand, six, hundred, fifty people every week received some form of antipsychotic medication and most of that was without any psychosis diagnosis for which these drugs are indicated So specifically, we actually looked at trends and surveyor citations for unnecessary medication use in nursing home. So that's kind of the. Part of this study and what we found was a clear change in citation rates for these facilities between the change in administrations from the Obama Administration to trump administration So we found citations for antipsychotic misuse in sniffs increased by two hundred percent between twenty, fifteen, twenty seventeen but then declined by twenty two percent from two thousand, seventeen to twenty eighteen, and importantly a ten percent of citations associated with actual harm or immediate jeopardy to a residence health or safety. So those are some of the most severe citation surveyors ever capture resulted in no fine from twenty seventeen to twenty eighteen under the trump administration. So you know. I. Would say even though this study in particular couldn't determine causation we we did see a clear association between the Trump Administration's regulatory rollback campaign twenty, seventeen, twenty eighteen and a reduction in citations for these particular drugs. Okay thank you and we'll get into the trump administration's regulatory decisions in this regard in a minute let me just ask as a follow up or an aside question and I don't think I saw this new report. So you may not have these numbers top of mind but worth asking, can you give an approximation of the cost? To the Medicare program at least relative to the overuse I, mean, this is a massive amount of money in reimbursement for these medications. I don't remember offhand. Let's see I think in the in the actually in the report we got About one third of older adult Medicare part d enrolling with dementia who spent more than one hundred days in a nursing humber prescribed antipsychotic in two, thousand, twelve constituting roughly three, hundred, sixty, three, million part D plan payments that year and of course, there's also cost associated with hospitalizations for inappropriate use of these drugs So I would expect you know that that that is obviously very under an understatement understated estimate that does not capture the full realm of payments. So it's it's fairly substantial.

Tell me about your three joe that these guys have something that's Kinda working against them. In, the case of Terry, McLaren, how good the QUARTERBACK GONNA be. He's the only weapon there is is, is that going to be a proper him in his second year decay metcalf? Are they going to throw the ball whole lot to compete with Tyler Lock Target? So That's why we have K Athens I lock it here Hollywood Brown is the Guy I want to highlight I mean I'm not breaking any news here Ross everybody in the fantasy industry is on Hollywood Brown but he is still my number one most drafted player this year in best balls. Our friends up at best ball tens all the formats for best ball I have drafted Hollywood brown a metric ton. This you I think there's a true breakout them especially in best ball or maybe you don't have to. You don't have to start him in those days where he's inevitably going to catch one pass for seventeen yards when the Mark Jackson Mark Hager Jacob. Dobbins. A running all over the field. But I love Hollywood Brown up bulking up coming off a season which he was hurt a lot cortlandt sutton, a ton of competition for targets AJ green coming off an injury Jarvis Landry coming off an injury T. Y. Hilton already her he's older end. He's now in an offense that I think's going be very run heavy. You See Jonathan Taylor getting a lot of hyping camp thus far Keenan Allen. He's been volume guy his entire career I. think it's going to be a low volume pass game. You see what I'm getting at here just there there there are some guys here who have something working against them whether it's themselves in the case of Willfuller his inability to stay on the field or the offense but the other guy wanted to highlight another guy I've drafted a ton. He had a meteoric add rise in like April. And I thought Oh boy, this is getting crazy. He's going to become a fifth round pick soon and ADP just stopped rising and that's the ONTA-. Johnson. You can get him in the seventh round to me look like the next great steeler mid round wide receiver that Kevin Colbert always has success drafting a phenomenal route runner created a ton of separation according to next Gen stats and he did all of this with with duck hodges and Mason Rudolph at quarterback unexpecting huge things from beyond eight Johnston in twenty twenty with Ben Rothlisberger back at quarterback. Yeah he's a stud. That comes on the show mentioned Deonte Johnson one way or the other. I'm curious about some of the guys into your four because then you get to Marvin Jones Junior Michael Gala Julian Edelman and Daria Slayton by far your smallest tear. You got a four man tier four. What's the deal with this?.

Antonio. Gibson. Road. Joe. Rile Jones Jordan Howard Kevin Coleman J. K.. Davits tell me about five or your biggest year joe yet. So these are the guys who for one reason or the other. Are, they have kind of they have split up rolls, uncertain roles, somebody like Devon single. Terry here he's going in the fourth round. I'm not taking Evanston Bulgarian, his cost I'll take Zach Moss five rounds later. Thank you very much. But some of these other guys, the Andrea, swift regime, moster, cream hunt three Cohen James White, they are going to be in Split Backfield's there's too I want to highlight though really briefly Ross Antonio Gibson I'm sure we'll talk about this a little bit later. The Washington backfield following the release of various guys is very fascinating. They have Gibson morning multiple positions though the entire fantasy community is now on Antonio Gibson he averaged like a ridiculous eleven yards up touch last year at Memphis problem was got like seventy touches So there's not a huge track record here, but he's a superb athlete he's a spark monster. So he's somebody who who you think could be vitiors, Alvin Kamara that kind of mid round pick who gets pushed into an opportunity and runs with it. So I'm in on taking Antonio. Gibson. As an upside ply Ronald Jones does the other guy who's who's kind of getting a lot of discussion and There are that we move GRANDPA field and I we call them. Row Joe troopers a voracious segment of the fantasy football community on twitter just goes after anybody who talks bad about Ronald Jones Ross just don't see it. I I. Didn't like him as a prospect. Was the past protector for the for the Tampa Bay buccaneers if Ronaldo cannot pass protect he ain't gonNA play on third downs with Tom Brady. It's not going to happen. Justin Herbert and tyrod Taylor, they're gonNA run. So is what's Austin Equatoguinean? Is he going to get two hundred and fifty carries? I'd probably take the under on that I. Certainly Am GonNa take the under on the ninety one receptions he had last year but I love the player and I love that Melvin Gordon longer there. So He's a player I'm struggling with a little bit Ross. Yeah I mean. I don't really understand that you know he'd put a big numbers last year and there's no Melvin Gordon I understand that might not throw it to him as much but feel like he would make up for that in other ways yet you would hope so I mean he posted a picture of himself on Social Media I. Mean The guy looks like looks like a statue I mean like just completely chiseled out. But he small and not to this point now they did have Melvin Gordon. They, haven't given him a full workload. They draft the Joshua Kelly in the fourth round, who's kind of your classic bruising running back, which suggests to me that they still wanNA limit his carry. So that's why I'm a little concerned about Ecuador. But if you were to tell me guys going to get eighteen eighteen touches a game, he might jump to the top of this year. So you probably did this on purpose but your last guy and tier three off neck lower. Your first guy in Tier Four Melvin Gordon. I did not do this purpose Ross to be completely honest with you. It's a Melvin Gordon to me last year I was in on Mark Ingram kind of my a boring but I think steady kind of rb to drafts. He was the guy who was targeting turns out he turns into season that is a steady rb to ear. He didn't like outdo his ADP. He just hit it right and. Sometimes, you need those guys in your draft. You need the guys who drafted in the fourth round who perform like a fourth round pick not everybody is going to just assault his eighty pay and marketing from did that last year and I think Melvin Gordon. Who's kind of third fourth round pick this year I think he's somebody who's going to perform his ADP I don't think he's going to get one. Hundred percent of the snaps, but I've said it on this podcast before I think he's somebody who's going to come out and he's going to catch the ball and he's going to get the goal line work. So those third-down touches were Philip Lindsey had struggled in the past his Philip. Wednesay over the last two seasons has the fewest yards per catch yards per reception of any player with ninety or more. Targets the views, Melvin Gordon blows them away in that regard now, I don't know if that's the offense if it's Lindsay's true skillset, but there is a reason they signed Melvin Gordon and I think it's the play on third downs and the play at the goal line, and those are the gala rich fantasy touches that we want. That's why I like Melvin Gordon as an rb to for fantasy this year. You know I think you're four might be motioning I'm Morrison Tier Four, zero five because these guys have question marks for the next two in Tier Four, you got Melvin Gordon kick it off. Then you've got James Connor from the steelers and Jonathan Taylor the rookie for the colts. Yeah. These are three really different guys and I think that's why..

"And. The Panthers told you that they spent all seven of their draft picks on defensive players. So they told you, we think our defense is gonNA stink and Teddy Bridgewater being tear six is A it's kind of a volume thing but the problem I have with these guys is. I kind of view them on shaky ground. As starters a teddy bridgewater could be no pun intended Abridge quarterback drew lock started five games garments. She was a sixth round pick I think the Jaguars are going to be bad this year. So there's just a little bit more of uncertainty here that makes me uncomfortable but these guys are really really good huby threes in best ball league or in a two quarterback league, and they can even be a solid qb to if you drafted one of my tier one or tier two quarterbacks as somebody who they, they've got a lot of things going for them. If you overlook, they're pretty significant words. WHAT UNMOVABLE STAR Two tiers of Boll in. So well explained love six different tiers. The three guys in tier three Rogers and dear by absolutely phenomenal start to tears of Dole on this year. Joe. Love. The song we can talk next week, we'll do running backs or white receivers can figure that part of it out. Here's you. Now you need to try to get in this league against me Joe because I gotTa tell you even though I'm not the expert like Joe is I'm kind of awesome at fantasy I. Don't know how to tell you this but I'm kind of big Anisi. So let's see what you got redraft league. I will be all of you.

"In in quote Unquote Expert Leagues. You're just not going to get those guys eat nap. There are ways to win in fantasy football draft quarterback. Early, you'll see a big one of the things going around in best ball from from fantasy twitter and fan the fantasy community is achieved stack almost drafting two or even three chiefs in the first three rounds by going with tyreek, Hill Travis Kelsey and Patrick Mahomes. Maybe you do collide Edwards. Larry tyreek Hill Patrick Mahomes. There are ways to to kind of do a super high up stack like that. It's particularly risky in the time of Kobe to do something like that put all your eggs in one basket but frankly the opportunity cost of drafting a quarterback that early, it really hurts you at the other positions especially running back and wide receiver. That's why I don't like doing it in Rossi had. The the the thing people always going to say to you. Well, you know I had more last year and I had Patrick Mahomes the year before and those guys were the reason I want my fantasy championship. True One, hundred percent true. That's why I have them ranked number one and number two mahomes actually number one but I mean against leading hairs like I talked about a little bit earlier. But when you drafted Patrick Mahomes two years ago where together. Tenth Round Eleventh. Round when you drafted Lamar Jackson last year where'd you get them? Ninth? Round. Ten. Round that that's part of the reason if not, the reason you want your fantasy championship at these guys. Yes they scored a ton of points but you weren't hurting running back and you weren't hurting at wide receiver. They just help put your team over the top into that near unbeatable zone. That's what happened with those guys. So this year they're super expensive I am going to pass. I'm not naive enough to think there's another Lamar or another mahomes on the. Board somewhere. However, I going to take the opportunity to try to find somebody who seventy percent of Lamar or seventy percent of Patrick Mahomes, and I am going to build my roster much stronger running backs and wide receivers. So in most leaks, I am not going to be drafting quarterbacks from Yes. You can win by doing it. Yes. If you have a keep relief for sure but that is not how I would recommend. You do a fantasy football team this year. Tiered you've got four guys, Dak Prescott, Tyler, Murray Russell, Wilson, the Shawn Watson. All those guys give you some kind of a running element. Yes, and I think if people were to say, well, here's the next Lamar Jackson people are going to say it's Kyla Murray. The problem is everybody is looking for that next Lamar Jackson Kyle Murray's ADP qb three q before. So he is very expensive this year and I know you've had Greg Cosell on the podcast and He wrote a piece for US fantasy points dot com where he said do this guy's got a lot of out but he's got a lot to work on and with the off season you wonder. Could he get off to a little bit of a slow start? So you're not getting of Murray at a discount with this tear Ross..

"So you get a discount on all of Joe Dolan's unbelievable content and Tom Raleigh and Graham Barfield. Guru. Giants and and our Guy Greg Cosell. Who will be on tomorrow's Ross Tucker Football podcast breaking down the position groups that are most and least affected by the abbreviated practice schedule abbreviated preparation for the twenty twenty NFL season. You know this some Ross Tucker former NFL offensive lineman five teams, seven years. Now, I've got five podcasts including this here and Hissy beasts podcasts. It's August which means two things number one we start having to episodes a week because you guys deserve it because it's fantasy football time and we were scheduled to have Christopher Harris on Fridays Bengazi Beast podcast this week, and also means we dive in. Two Tiers of and when I say Dole and I'm talking about Joe Dolan at F. G. underscored Dolan on twitter he's basically the owner of all overseas at fantasy points dot com he's got a setup he is in south. Carolina we are getting into the cheers of Dolan I am beyond excited for it but before we do that Hello Joe Oria I'm well Ross how `Bout Yourself. Not Bad I got a weird spot in our best ball this this month I'm in I'm like in the eleven whole thing. So Iran. Actor one two and then ODA. Beckham? Junior. Checking Kenny Golladay. With my next few picks. On. Running back receiver receiver, what do you think that's going to be a pretty common start this year I actually opened up with. Excuse me because we have not yet talked about you and I at least have not yet talked about a deeming. Williams. Opting out. So I went with Clyde Edwards a layer in the first round I rick ill in the second. So I doubled up on Kansas City chiefs to open open my draft. But my top two running backs are both rookies in Edwards Allaire Jonathan Taylor, and that's going to be a little precarious but I think kind of excited. I was wrong by the way I got DJ more. I had to queue up I got DJ more I. Think I had golladay higher but the guy right before he took golladay sow. Got Dj more instead I. Think you're even higher Dj more than I've been, but maybe you convince me of that. Yeah he's kind of he's kind of in that high end wide receiver to. Even. A lot more than I do. I'm still a little iffy on on Teddy Bridgewater I'm not sure. Exactly how much long frankly exactly how good he is but. He's a very good wide receiver to and I..

"Google. Oh play store to download bet q. L. all right joe what's next okay. One of the things that you wanna know ross is that not all teams are created created equal when it comes to fantasy and you can just pick that up off the top of your head and say well you know good. Teams are better than bad teams. That's all true but more plays run more value simple but i want people to look at the list of teams from last year and the plays that they ran dan and understand why some of these teams might be worth investing in for fantasy last year the team that lead the n._f._l. In place per game was the baltimore baltimore ravens. They averaged about seventy one place per game well. If you're somebody who loves their backfield for obvious reasons they essentially ran a service academy the off offense when when jackson took over last year they ran the ball more than anybody well. They also ran at a high pace. The clock wasn't really stopping seventy eighty one place per game for the baltimore ravens. I expect them to be at a at a high pace again and if you love that backfield i've been drafting mark ingram a whole lot this offseason in very very recently. I've started diving in with multiple shares of justice hill well. You might think well. That's counterintuitive. If you really like mark ingram and you're you don't you're not a big fan of handcuffing which i'm really not early in the season and you're and you're drafting justice civil. Why are you driving both of those guys because ross an offense that runs mm seventy one place per game can support multiple running backs in multiple ways. They ran a tana place more plays more fantasy opportunities. The new england patriots were second in the n._f._l. So i think even if you're buying into the recent camp report that sony michelle is going to get the ball a lot well. They can support michelle n james whiten that backfield the rams that sixty six place per game. There's more targets moore carries to go around on the flipside. You look at teams but that didn't run a whole lot of plays last year. Miami and arizona have new coaching staff so you kind of want to throw them out and see what might happen there but tennessee fifty fifty nine plays per game that raises alarm bells for me because there's not as many targets to go around for corey davis not as many targets for dion lewis the number two running going back <hes> not as many carries perhaps for derrick henry. The chargers ran under sixty plays per game. They're coaching staff is back. They don't have melvin gordon so i. I want you to understand that if you're drafting a second receiver or a second running back from a team you wanna make sure at least understand that certain teams are we're going to run ten to fifteen plays per game more than other teams and those ten to fifteen plays per game could be the key between winning or losing that drafted for you yeah. That's a really good point and that's one that i i don't remember seeing three to five years ago. Go joe that seemed like a more recent thing that people have realized the value in just how many snaps these teams get off and it's as applying uh right it's simple and if you run more snaps it's it's more plays. We see snap rate ross. Oh he played sixty five percent of the snaps but but if you play sixty five percent of one hundred snaps that's way more valuable than playing sixty five percent a fifty snaps. No it's a great point <hes>. Do you have any other joe. Well yeah ross and i once again. This is a simple one focus on good teams with good offenses that kind of plays off the previous one. I know there's there was a a kind of a blow back last year and i think one of the things that the public in fantasy would always rebel against was ranking patriots running back hi. Oh we you never know what they're going to do. The bill belichick uses five running backs but there's always somebody who produces because the offense is good and i think one are those teams. I'm looking at this year. Ross is philadelphia when you look at the eagles and you say oh. I don't want to draft miles sanders because they brought in jordan howard and they always have running back by committee but ross. If the offense is scoring points. Somebody is going to produce so. I think it's lazy analysis to say you know what this is this. This team is running back situations situations of mass. I'm just going to avoid it. I think you want to get guys in messy. Situations who are on good teams. If you want to avoid a messy situation like like with the titans and you don't know what to do with their pass catching group or you don't know what to do with the buffalo bills running back group. I understand that a mediocre to a bad team but i'm i'm always going to invest in messy situations with good teams because there's value there because if these situations ross weren't nessie than these guys would be league top picks. Imagine that you weren't howard wasn't in philadelphia. Where do you think miles sanders is getting drafted right now. I mean it second round third round. He might be going right next to josh jacobs with oakland and mile sanders is almost certainly going to be on a better team with a better offense then then <hes> josh jacobs this so i want to attack messy situations with good teams and avoid them with bad teams. You get a discount for messy situations with a good team. Well i think the market usually they kind of understand messy. Situations with bad teams a little bit more not all messy situations are created equal. Wow that's interesting way to look got it yet. The eagles are an interesting one joe just because doing their their t._v. Games in the preseason. They just have a lot of good players man. I mean they you you know they've got to legit titans. They've got four really good wide receivers. They've got at least two running backs six that will play a lot and i'm not convinced that they won't play three or four runny mags. I mean i don't know how much they're gonna use sproles. I even thought last thursday against the ravens corey clement looked pretty good so i don't know i mean i. I think those are ones where people typically i see on twitter. Her fantasy analysts will say you don't want running back by committees. We want volume volume volume. We want guys. You're going to get a lot of touches. How do you know in in any of those situations like zakar threat. He can't possibly catch as many balls this year right. I mean you take the under on record setting performances. I've been saying all off-season season ross. The kansas city chiefs could've added prime jerry rice to the offense they had last year and literally nothing else changed and i would take the under on fifty touchdown passes for patrick mahomes. It's just it's the smart bet to say. Regression is coming from record setting performances so if you're drafting soccer's expecting him to catch one hundred twelve balls again i i'd say hey you're gonna be foolish but then you have to just look at what's going to be realistic okay. If zach ertz loses twenty five percent of his of his targets from last year any any still catches seventy five passes how many tight ends we're going to catch seventy five passes george kendall maybe you maybe travis kelsey. He's probably gonna do it. I think you could say evan. Ingram could do it and maybe one or two others but that's still a hell of a season for zachert so you wanna take the under on record setting performances but you don't wanna you don't wanna just instantly fade somebody for a record setting performance or a great performance if their price has adjusted so like exactly it's if you if people were expecting him to do what he did last year again he'd be right up there with traffic kelsey. He's not some say he's still a little bit too expensive but taking taking the under on record setting performances and fading them entirely that i mean i think that's a different story ross yeah. I think i think that makes sense any other one last tip. You have anything else that we need to know before. People have their drafts the next couple of days or next weekend of course you and i will start next week with giving your thoughts and breakdown of pretty much every fantasy relevant guy in in each game starting starting next week on tuesdays and wednesdays going to be fantastic if you can't already tell joe knows his stuff and he definitely brings things the energy and the juice. You've got a very good delivery joe way about it's fun. I really appreciate that ross. One of the things i would like to say just to give a a tip here is understand especially for some running backs win loss splits and i i'm going to bring this up in reference reference to marlin mac marlin max numbers in his career and it can be noisy here because a lot of these losses came in two thousand seventeen with the the old coaching coaching staff but marlin max numbers winds are significantly better than they are in losses and last year in in colds situations where they were trailing naim hines played significantly more snaps than marlin mac and i'm gonna give an example from last year for why i think it's important to understand the volatility of some running backs adrian peterson with the redskins last year ran for over one thousand yards ross. I would think any any football fan looks at two hundred and fifty carries for forty yards and seven touchdowns as a pretty damn good season for running back wouldn't you wouldn't you say good season. Yes however you look at it from a fantasy perspective and things start to get a little bit messier for adrian peterson because six hundred eighty of those one thousand forty a two rushing yards came in their seven wins three hundred sixty two of them came in their nine losses and for a running back like a marlin mac an adrian peterson a derrick henry on the lesser side. Maybe a sony michelle because the patriots are so good and they aren't going to be behind all that much. It's important to recognize that these guys aren't going to catch a whole lot of passes are going to be very very hard to play and to support in a game in which the team that they play on is a betting underdog so a team like washington a team like the colts now that andrew luck has retired. I'm expecting to see situations nations in which they're six seven eight point underdogs same with tennessee. I would avoid playing guys like that when they're heavy underdogs because that's gonna be a winning bet more often than not and that's why in fantasy not just do. We look for past catches because we call them. Calorie rich catches calorie alary rich touches where a lot of fantasy points but if the guy can't catch the ball and isn't gonna be out there when the team is losing then you're going to get a goose egg and that's that's a really important stats look at and that's something more to focus on when we're in season but running backs who don't catch the ball from bad teams those are almost always waist fades on drafting excellent work joe. I love it. Your tips right on at a lot of people asked year while you're number one speaking of of number one. There's other ways become number one like joe dolan. You go ahead and you use p._f. Analytics to optimize every.

Mas- twenty one hours of knowing that the jets are back to being dysfunctional has it made it any better has eased, your frustration in the last twenty one hours. No. And I will say this, I'm going to say one thing that actually liked a wall. The people that you would think would be to mature adult in this whole situation. Okay. The last guy, I would think that, that would be would be levian bell and of all the stuff that I have heard Levy odd bell came out with the I mean, I it was unbelievable, what he took to higher beyond the high road eats. Bell, even though his boss, the general manager too much money. Yeah. Thinks he's overpaid. I would give him that much money, right? He took the high road. You're right. I mean you look at the owner who has no idea what he's on the owners. The owners in over his head. No matter. People may say he's over is freaking well over his head well over said, I can't believe this. Because when Christopher Johnson took over for the great ambassador Woody, I thought, well, can't be worse. Can't be held and it reminds. It's a reminder that is much as you may. Not like it owner of your team. It could always get yours. Could be worse. It's possible really. That someday the dolans and the wilpon could sell their team riders right? That are worse. But you know what? When when Christopher Johnson makes the dolans in a wilpon look like they rone's Pittsburgh, you know, the steinbrenners that that's saying something that so yesterday Christopher Johnson did meet the media. He did a conference call to get at there. Either. Of course I felt worse after the courts. Do you know I didn't feel better? I don't think he explained it. Well, I heard try to explain it this morning. I don't think it's explained. Well, they're dysfunctional. And the one thing I wanna hear is we've heard callers try to bring it up. This is not a debate about Mike macaque not the issue because that's not the that's a fine debate that we could have had in January that we all had in January, but in the middle of may, this is an embarrassment. Our assessment, though doubt about it. If you're going to dump the canyon, you'd dump them when you dumped bowls, that's when that was the time to do it. I would have had a problem with it, but you don't do it after the elect the guy I he helps high head culture basically stabs him in a back. Let's be honest about it, and there's no other way to say, but, but the Christopher says that's not our stores. There was no power to lying for months. They're all they're all telling the truth now. Of course, of course. But you to get much of let the GM sign all the free agents. And of course, you know, the free agent. They sign the head coach says he's he was getting paid too much money. What a joke and then you let them do draft. And then you fire him three weeks after the draft. But you know they're not a dysfunctional organization because everyone every winning championship Gallup organization. Does that kind of thing? But I heard that here's a positive. The positive positive might well since they're the only team looking for general manager, they're not competing with anybody. It's going to be disguised Douglas because Adam getting out of Kim gays. Right. Right magic that actually thinking that, that's a really important thing. Well, they're not competing with anybody believable, who cares. It's unbelievable. I mean, come on. How's that a good thing? Why? Because book because every other organization is competent, and they have it's like firing your manager during the playoffs and say, well, no one else is looking for so good. What a great spot to be in a great spot to be in. It's unbelievable. It's it's beyond. I just, it's just mind boggling to me, how this and you know, the worst part is the worst part of it all is you actually feeling pretty good about it. I mean, every jet fan, I talked to I think you would everybody Ernie IRA, my buddy. Tommy keener, go down the line when all the big jet fans that I know who all would feel in pretty even my wife. My wife, God bless. Three days ago, she says to me, you know, I'm really looking forward to jettison says to me. Yeah. Three days ago, as everybody's out there like, oh yeah, I feel good about it. We did. And this happened we did this bombshell yesterday. My wife wasn't listening to the show at all, you know, she's working and all of a sudden she text me. She's like I just went on Twitter to take a break. Why is Ella? Well jets trending right now LOL jets, things left out. I know. Hello, good. I had to Dr. Clueless. Right. Because out of absolute nowhere, they fire their general manager in may. And they took a head coach who sounds like a real good guy. Sounds like a guy to hang out, well dude guy screams at the dolphin about football, the goal, here's a guy that's nothing mazing thing is. It's not like this guy's got one Super Bowl. Maybe what play playoffs nine times fifty games over five hundred. I don't know who that would be. I'll actually might be caught. That's right. He wanted full power. We can't hide, you know that this guy who has done absolutely squat squat in the NFL, and he is now like the king. Like he knows what he is the football maven of all time. What do we cannot sell? I remember when they hired as one of the things we both said, concerned us is that he was never humble. Right. He got fired. They really wanted to be fired. He never had to go back and you know, offensive coordinator was never humbled. So if he was yelling at the owner of the dolphins, basically telling him what the hell do you know what I football right? Don't you think he's already done the same thing that Christopher Johnson and Christopher who doesn't probably coward, and said, you, right, Mr. nothing? What do you want all you want out? Okay. Fine. Is that really what's happening right now? Why should we believe type is, I think. Johnson Johnson, yes. You got. You gotta be kidding me. I just it's just when you think that this franchise can't sink any lower. They continue to find new ways to go down into dumps even more. I there's no other way to say. And I tell you right now they're gays and this guy, there's only one he could win eleven games this year. Okay. And make the playoffs to get even get and win a playoff game. It's not good enough is not good enough, because we have seen that act before again. And again, and again, so anything short of this guy, getting at least getting through a Super Bowl. You know what it is? You didn't get the job done. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. And I will be shocked if threes from that guy still coaching thing. I gotta tell you, right. no i completely agree with you and we got actually lower that number two to get over under one and a half they would if they go like five and eleven he's he's out because on i put this on adam gates is that fair i put a lot happened to mike mccann on adam gates okay if that's the case what do you think is gonna happen between adam gates and greg williams what do you think it's going to happen between adam gates and levi bell eventually right right what do you think is going to happen this is a guy who alienated some players in miami yelled at the owner of the team and said what the hell do you know about football and just got the general manager of the jets fired so inevitably something else is going to happen and unless they went all a whole lotta games like you said and succeed in the postseason this is going to end badly and i hope i'm wrong this is one of those things where we both hope for wrong i hope someday we're laughing about hall of famer adam gates well wow he really did he's the next ballot check we can only pray that would i would love to eat these words you would to gorse because we're fans i More than being right about things not about. It's not about being right. Right. Forget about Japan for fifty four years outright is that it's been all wrong. I think all the signs are there, that this is going to be a nightmare. Of course. There's no doubt about it. An absolute unmitigated nightmare. For all the reporters out there, and I do it away feel bad for them because you have sources you trust. And they end up lying to you. Right. There's nothing you can do. How can you if you're rich too? Meaning meadow or Brian Castillo ever trust. Another word from this lying organization. They lie to you, and they made you look like fools for the last two months they told you everything's fine, they told you this is all BS Adam gates pretended to be angry. Remember that? And all that stuff. So how can you trust anything anybody in this organization tells you how could you trust with this owner said yesterday, how could you believe any of it? And if you decide to believe any of it, oh, you're your little gullible. What can I tell you because right now I believe nothing comes from this franchise. How can you? The beat reporters look like fools, and I'd be annoyed if I'm them, and they should be Monique meta should be here's I'm looking at it. He's, he's man to go. You got lied to guy thing is out. He's gone. He's not happy about that, either. I don't think that any reporter wants to be made to look like a fool right fans. Want to be made like a fool. And so when Adam gay stands there to us as fans, forget the media now and says. PS. This isn't true with his eyes flickering all over the place. He looks he's a liar. This is called like it is. Sometimes I try to be nice. Let us a lot nuts lie. They lied. They did. And they probably still lying. Look what should be done. And of course, it's not going to be done because now Christopher Johnson is given the keys castle Adam gays should be done as gays should be out. He should just. Okay. You know what that's it? They're all gone, they're all gone, and they should fine. Mike McCarthy and begging to come back and take and take over to take this team over or at the very least. I'll tell you what I would do at the very if you couldn't get McCarthy at the very least, and I know he's got to go fight somebody to be coordinated offense coordinator, all that. I Greg Williams. Ajar. Why the very least that is either. But you know what? I can't have Adam gape, but we want you and I did not want Adam coaching state, we said from day, when we found out the name out of days we, we. Out the Monday after is fi through the name. What we started almost five vomited on the air when I heard that we both want them a coffee. And I said this yesterday. The immediate end when went out and did a hatchet job on Mike McCarthy, they went and did at freaking hatchet job on a guy who you know, very well could be famous.
