Some observers say it shouldn't come as a shock to you if you follow them both. Adams, who is white, and is an outspoken presence on social media long before this past week describing black people as a hate group on YouTube, and to some Dilbert had strayed from its roots as a chronicler of office culture. Plus Elon Musk of Twitter now seems to be an atom's corner about all this. We talked about it earlier with will oremus technology news analysis writer for The Washington Post. Dober creator Scott Adams has built up a following on YouTube for his contrarian views on lots of social issues, including race. And some of those contrarian views went a little far in the past week, among other things he said. He thinks that white people should get the hell away from black people. He said this in response to a poll that apparently found narrow majority of black respondents said that they agreed with the phrase. It's okay to be white. Now, there's a lot of context around that phrase that I think Adams overlooked, but he took this as a sign, a lot of black people don't think it's okay to be white. He said that those people constitute a hate group and that he would want to have nothing to do with them, understandably, I think that costs a lot of consternation. A lot of people were outraged, but not Elon Musk. And essentially comes in and supports Adams. Is that fair to say? Yeah, you know, Elon does this interesting thing where instead of just tweeting about something as a sort of an original tweet from his own account to all his followers, he likes to weigh in on really controversial issues by replying to someone else's tweet. And he most often replies to people on the right where he'll pick up on something they said that controversial and he'll reply interesting or something to think about. Instead of putting himself in this role of just asking questions, right? He's not the one who's saying the things that Adams said. But he did respond to a couple of tweets about Adam's comment. And his response was that it's actually the media is racist. And he said, for a long time, the media was racist against black people, but these days, the media is racist against whites and Asians is what he said. So it certainly came across as a defensive atoms. He wasn't necessarily agreeing with every word Adam said. Unlike in the case of Adams we're a comic strip is suspended by many publications. And the admiration and really love of many on the right. The police had known this information within days of the murder but took seven months to inform the da instead they fabricated a theory of their own. The police believed and told the media. That jon benet had been killed from the bash tour head the garage adding sexual assault and ransom. No they theorized was all a clever cover up so that they could cry intruder. Boulder police investigator jeff. Shapiro said that there is an understanding in the department that this was an accidental that this was the result of child abuse that got out of control and that somehow jon benet was struck across the head or her head was smacked into something that cracked her skull and the sexual assault and has fixation was part of a cover up to make it look like an intruder had broken in and killed jon benet. They thought that may be patsy hitter daughter in the head because she had wet the bad. They told the press that the most likely scenario is that jon benet went to her parents. Bad wet and weeping her frazzled. Mom completely lost it ambassador Her that's where the attack began. When asked to explain the dna found on her underwear. The police agreed that it was probably left from the manufacturer but couldn't explain why it was on her pants and underwear which were not made by the same company. Smith could not disagree more. You can see the amount of force that was exerted on the garage to further. Prove smith's point there were little moon shaped markings found right above and below the cord on the front of jon benet snack. There were fingernail markings indicating that jon benet was alive and fighting for her life trying to pull the garage from her neck. While she was being strangled she could not have died from the head blow. I the boulder. Police were not thrilled with smith's findings. They made attempts to keep evidence from smit. The da's office who had hired smith and believed his findings to be true attempted to take over the investigation completely in response mayor. Roy romer accused the da's office of protecting the ramseys and asserted that their refusal to charge them with the murder of their daughter was bias. It's useless unless you can create a sense of demand, if you can create a sense of demand, even for new product, Hugh have a customer who comes through door and gives you the money to buy it. So here's my advice for all these people that think it's all about the product or the service that they're about to sell. I'm here to tell you. It's all about having that, but much more importantly, creating a sense of demand that your product is irresistible. Let me give you a few examples. I have a cousin who opened and ran for many years in my hometown of Edgewater rusty's far his business when he started out had good food beautiful space, you put his life savings into it. They're selling their lore of making people won a lobster roll. So if you're going to use social media, you have to be authentically yourself. This is what I've discovered people out there following on social media. Don't follow you the minute. They sense anything. That's ingenuous. They drop out people are smarter than you think they know the difference. If you're yourself on social media, and the customer can sense that you're thin typically yourself, they will follow you. And it's an following you that you could promote like crazy your product and do better and better with what you do. And what you get when you make people want you.
