Brady a Rare Super Bowl Underdog vs. Chiefs

"Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Underdogs versus Patrick Mahomes in the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl 55 less than two weeks away. This is Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes after he threw three touchdown passes at home last night in a 38 to 24, A F C championship game went over the Buffalo Bills of victory. That puts my homes and the Chiefs and the Super Bowl a second straight season for this classic matchup, being able to go up against one, the one of the greatest, Nothing greatest quarterback of all time and his 150th Super Bowl. I mean, it's gonna be a great experience for me. I mean to have a chance to repeat and get to do it against the best. I mean it zapping special and I'm excited for the opportunity. Patrick Mahoney's led the chief's back from mine nothing down in the first quarter against Buffalo to beat the bills by two touchdowns, the largest margin of victory for the defending champions since week eight of the season. It was week 12 when Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 27 24 went over the Buccaneers. Kansas City is favored to beat Tampa Bay and Super Bowl 55 by between three and 3.5 points, which will be the first Super Bowl to get played in the home stadium of one of its participants, thanks to Brady and the Buccaneers, who won three games on the road in this postseason and became the first team seeded fifth to knock out the number one seed in a conference championship game. Box defeated Aaron Rodgers and the Packers 31 to 26 Lambeau Field. Brady, now in his 10th Super Bowl. It's a tough journey to get here to go on the road, and we not know another road playoff game. Is it just a great achievement? And, you know, now home Super Bowl for the first time in NFL history, I think puts a lot of cool things in perspective,

Newsom expected to cancel regional stay-at-home orders in California regions, including Los Angeles

"Gavin Newsom confirms to KCBS that tomorrow. The state Department of Public Health will lift the stay at home order is the regional state homeowners for all regions in California that includes the Bay Area, Los Angeles and San Joaquin Valley, which are the three regions still Under the stay at home order, But the news we're getting now confirmed from the noose of administration is that the regional state home orders will be lifted effective immediately. On that means going back to the color coded four tier system. Most counties are in the most restrictive purple tear, but this will mean that outdoor dining can resume. Not just take out. It means you'll be able to get your hair cut at a salon again. There's a whole list of things that were permitted under the purple tear that were shut down when the state home order took effect, so they're going to go ahead and lift this even though you know the whole plan has been for the last what more than a month That you had to have at least 15% capacity in the ice. He used to come out of this order. And as recently as this afternoon they were projecting that none of these regions were going to do that over the next four weeks. And then all of a sudden this afternoon. They said the Bay Area had a 23% ICU space, which was a little bit of a head scratcher. And now the state Department of Public Health says that all the regions are projected to have at least 15% ICU capacity within four weeks. And so they meet the criterion for lifting this stay at home order, and it's going to be lifted immediately. You think this is mostly political pressure? Because certainly we've been hearing that for four weeks. The ice you projections have to be below 15%. Yeah, It's really hard to say it's hard to believe that that's what's happening here. Although certainly back in the spring, we came out early in some parts of the state because of political pressure the governor gave into that. In this case, you know they have this metric that you have to have at least 15% headroom in the ICU, But they've kept secret exactly what goes into that recipe that there are four different Metrics, and we don't really know what those numbers are, and we've asked for that data. They won't give it to us. So how they come up with this projection? Nobody knows on. It's a little mysterious that all of a sudden, when the first part of the day the projection of the number for the bear, it was something like 7%. And then in the afternoon suddenly was 23.4%. And now they're saying all these regions will hit 15% over the next four weeks Now, I don't know, because they haven't shown us the data, so we we can't Confirm their math that this is an accurate projection. But it's hard to believe they would mess with the numbers in such a way because of political pressure. And, you know, put people's lives at risk just because they felt you know the heat, but they say that their numbers and we'll try to get more when they speak about this publicly of the next briefing. But they haven't given it to us In the past. Their numbers say that they show at least 15% space in the ICU is between now and the end of February. And one other thing, too, is that a lot of the infectious disease experts have been saying that they are somewhat confident that We are the current search that were in that started it. What if, after Thanksgiving, maybe has crested? And you think that may have played into a to that? What? What You mentioned that we're not seeing all the data here that it actually might be better than The projections were Yeah, I think that the surge has not been as horrible as they forecasted might be. And certainly the numbers over the last week to 10 days have been improving. The positivity rate has dropped steadily, both the seven day in the 14 day. The caseload has been coming down steadily. We had a couple record days of deaths, though last week but of course Deaths or trailing indicator. They're lagging indicator people dying that would have been infected several weeks ago, so that was to be expected. But the other numbers have been trending the right way. And the governor and the state health secretary of both been saying. That's cause for cautious optimism. I guess now there because these numbers continue to move in that direction. They're seeing the hospitalization and I see your numbers come down and they projected they're going to continue to improve But again without seeing what goes into the sausage making here, you know the numbers that make up their data. It's hard to confirm that independently. All right, duck. Thanks very much.

Guest Teacher Janel Dyan on How to Invest in Womens Leadership in Your Company

"Today. We'll be talking about why in these unprecedented times. Women in leadership are essential to your company. Short-term growth and long term survival gender and racial equality are certainly hot topics of conversation right now but there are some organizations that are ahead of the curve and like me have been focusing on the equality of women and women of color for years and these are my clients women in leadership women on the rise women entrepreneurs and women at the helm of fortune five hundred companies today such so what lincoln and ford motor company and helping them grow as leaders. What i do best over the past seven years. I've worked with females of all colors and varied backgrounds from the bay area to new york. They are not only having a huge impact today but they are paving the way for all future female leaders industries historically dominated by men. And here's what i see. The companies who have made it a part of their core tenants to support an invest in diversity programs for the leadership development of women are the companies who are now today's industry leaders and it's not only for the products and services they provide but more importantly as a brand that people want to work for by from remained loyal to the shifted their measurable for success to include strong corporate culture of innovation employed growth customer loyalty and diverse leadership team who focus on purpose. And not just on the bottom line. They understand that their greatest assets are their employees and they have dedicated their efforts to be a brand that is people focused and purpose driven during our time together. Today we will focus on three lessons. You can walk away with first because women are. Today's largest and fastest growing global consumer companies need to shift their brand strategy to recognize the powerful role that women in leadership play driving economic growth. Next we'll take a look at why the greatest leaders are master storytellers and how powerful story can be and finally will cover some tips for building a culture with equality in its foundation including ways to establish promote an invest in fema leadership. So let's get started less than one. Women are the fastest growing global consumer and it's imperative that companies adjust according to. Brigitte brennan author. Why she buys and winning her business. Women make or heavily influence. Seventy to eighty percent of all purchases across all industries which means women are every company's largest target customer to truly capitalize on this customer trend companies. Must do a better job creating products and services with female buyers in mind. Companies must create a brand that women will buy from advocate foreign remain loyal to the companies who are most equipped to connect with women are led by other women and their leadership results have a positive impact. On company performance. The profits higher margins add more returns for investors leaders such as saffir cats of oracle and mary barra of general motors. it seems like commonsense. But it's actually not common practice. Facts are that only. Eighteen percent of global firms are led by women and according to this year's forbes annual report the number of women. Ceo's running fortune five hundred companies since it just seven point four percent so clearly. There are strong logical ethical and financial reasons to put more women at the helm according to study by mackenzie if we can close the gender gap by twenty twenty five twenty. Eight trillion dollars would be added to the global economy and to put that in perspective that is the size of the economies of the united states in china combined. Right now during covid and racial injustices at the forefront we find ourselves in a global economy with the future unknown. These challenges are now calling for new leadership no longer one of command and control but one of collaboration community one of the biggest actions that any leader can do right now is be transparent and empathetic to their team members and customers because anxiety and uncertainty are heightened during this time of crisis emotional connection on a basic human level between the leader and employee has never been more important than right now a recent study done in two thousand nineteen by mit sought to determine the makeup of the most effective leadership teams and those are the teams with the most women especially women of color as they are leaders who bring a deeper understanding of resilience. Women are also more likely to have empathy for those struggling to deal with change or lack of inclusion become role models for the change that they seek and are willing to share inspirational stories to motivate to embrace change they are in general more inclusive and collaborative making in leadership style which is a combination that continues to prove to be effective in getting companies to move faster in times of change lesson to the power of story. Why greatest leaders are master storytellers. We all love stories. In fact stories are what differentiates us as human beings. It is highly forged connections among each other and they'll trust as a community each stories an emotional journey that reinforces shared beliefs values and vision that we can all relate to from drawings on the walls of cave with stories of heroism folktales. That are full of more lessons to generational family tales. That remind us of our roots. Human beings need to feel that we are part of something greater than ourselves stories. Reminders that through tough times we will come out to the other side stronger wiser and more unified than ever stories. Bring us back to the beginning and remind us of who we are and what we do in stories creek clarity in our purpose and vision to get their. The greatest leaders are master storytellers. Simon sinek author of the power of y in infinite game says beautifully leaders aren't responsible for the results. Leaders are responsible for the people who are responsible for the results. It is during these times of crisis that provide an excellent opportunity for leaders to communicate stories of incredible vision for the future showing empathy advising with humility and providing optimism. For what lies ahead. They also understand marketing at its core is simply about storytelling. and it is the stories. They choose to tell that can differentiate brand as an industry leader communicating the values of the brand with the product and services they sell. I mean who wasn't choked up watching google's tearjerking super bowl ad of a love story that began with a simple question how not to forget. So tying back to what we learn in less than one about women being the largest and fastest growing global consumer with the understanding that stories have power companies must give their products and services a story that women now can relate to and what better way to do that than with women at the helm leading the way finally lesson three building corporate culture with gender equality in its foundation companies with strong female leadership such as new york stock exchange. Pwg and google are continuing to create more equitable inclusive and fulfilling workplaces for all women and the investments are already proving to return tenfold to their bottom line.

Because of glass, you attach to little bags of marbles either side, you're so angry at balls ball. Ball me out. I love them weird thing you. What are you? What part do you love? Best about him. The text. Texture in your hand or your mouth bone say, she's just pain back her status of things you would expect from her. Sure showed that she's never had a vibrator. But of course, of course, she loves the ball. But if she does have one it's made a Guam, and she loves balls and the whereas is. To me. What's wrong with me that I don't know the glass windows, doesn't balls? Couldn't tell you what I'm really against hit me what that shave all the hair. I don't like, ladies and shave all the hair or dudes. It's shame ole the hair keep that hair. I don't like I Don I talked to like hair in and around. But I like it as sort of a taper manscaping. You like on just as nature intended as nature intended. And do you say. Nature retention groom. I'm sad rooms, I groomed and new groom permanent. Like, listen. No. But like over time waxing or whatever it it does. It's it. It's not really really know. You're wishing giant Bush. I wish. Yeah. Wish you would because of all the fancy hairstyles three. I just I think I just bought into the cultural lie about this is how it's supposed to be. And I feel that men prefer I feel angry that I didn't. I took my choice away by just being rural Herman. Just it's not bushy. Listen, it's gorgeous. Don't get me wrong. I know seeing. I've looked. Seeing the glass dildo. I'm so glad I installed that says we've over and uninvited I'd just show up the cam- camera where I just keep the Cameron covered under the do bay. So we got the Amazon spot for the girls for Christmas Mansan spa is like the Alexa echo. But it has like it looks like around ball, and it has like a flat screen, and you could actually like watch being you'd be like play me the video for. So that's good. But you can also do drop in on. Oh and it rings like you have to answer it like a FaceTime call. Okay. But so you can talk to people who have the echoes spot in girls. Yeah. So the girls just yeah. But like true can drop ally. Walkie-talkie, but with the video screen if you're standing in front of you could be like, hey drop in on moon. And then a ring, and then you, and I could have like FaceTime from our Abbott in our homes. So it's just like a phone with. So why was because it has maybe you upgrade to the echoes Maat for the for the check the nighttime check ins, but this I think today, actually where they talked about the the nest nest thing that somebody there's like layers of security you're supposed to do when you get it.
