He said a few things that indicated to me that he watched it Dylan i'm kind of waffling back and forth for you. You always kind of sound the same to me when you watch in when you don't watch i'm gonna say this week that you didn't watch it did. Mossy did not did not. yeah. And i don't have any specific reason except i just got that vibe for this week spuds. You didn't say anything. That i thought was like blatantly wrong or anything like that but yeah that's what that's what i'm going with. A shit aren't will hold it in but we're not. We're not taking this podcast on the road. That's for sure Why you don't to hear my grunts pain. I you think you should see a doctor who are accusing think. watch real. Do you have any evidence anything you'd like to bring into discovery you guys said really general general facts late stuff that you can get from the smartest packing through since he didn't finish movie. I don't think it counts as watching a movie. That's what that's what you're gonna use when wrong. We'll we'll let the game master. Decide your fate anyway one. I'm gonna say that why why gave some really good detail when he mentioned the winnebago and the end point I did do a misdirect question. Neither of you called me on it. And i think that's because you were wise to it drew you it was. It was a what he's talking about with the forget. Not that seem that neither of us remember right. Yeah it was the head chopped off. Yeah yeah i was gonna say. I do not fucking remember ever i got. You were made me this. I thought you were maybe misdirecting with that. Because even though i barely paid attention i didn't remember anything like that happening in the movie but i wasn't sure so i didn't wanna say yeah injury you've been really leaning into that. I didn't finish it angle. So i'm thinking that maybe you didn't watch it and this is your your cover up in case you got all right now did watch. But baking didn't watch the end but it's like forty s with us right now. We're playing checkers. He's playing four d. djuric so on yet. I think both of you watched it a dry. Why we'll be guests right. I guess right you guessed neither of us and we both watched it so you don't get anything every time why it's like why he's like wiesel. What a fog. Why do you get points. It's no fear. I i bought it. I thought that you watched it. But i just didn't think that he i don't know i just had a feeling that we get all watch it and i knew i was sure that why it watched it but i was questioning you. So yeah shift. Founded if he sticks to beatty answers we to give like a fifty fifty shot. If you walk does true. I think he's just always vague. That's the i mean you weren't allowed to strategize is not like that's illegal or anything illegal. The stratagems just we're going to pull back the curtain here. Ashleigh is the vince mcmahon of our. Wwe w why are you name in over a year. Okay we did do. Hey let's stay. Can we cut it right there. Were you talking about. I'm the editor. And i am. Skip through the door two bags against a big strong away just swung in the fucking bag hidden inside of the thighs is standing right. I refuse to believe that. I think you were writing it. "This idea of putting gold into a medium and there are recipes all over the place manfred. Junius made one. That was really nice. Manfred geniuses another alchemist around the same time period as maybe a little younger than brought to albertus men for died in two thousand six and s. He was a german but iron. Vedic dr andrew plant alchemy actually. He has his paperback is cold. Spit djuric alchemy at this point. I'm not sure what the new titles. But his is. A major were implants. His own tabulate works with concepts out of ir vague alchemy. Ross asashara except that. It's early european alchemy but follows the same patterns meaning for example. What rossa sasha does is it takes a metal heats it but will extinguish it in an organic matter. Such as milk other things in it informs bosses informs assault. That's very anyhow. That's what that does. There were recipes out of the seventeenth century by alchemists german. How could this and he uses cinnamon and gold and cinnamon is if you're familiar with affinities and things like that cinnamon golden ruled by the sun. And so manfred made this really beautiful or potocki following this recipe. So that's really what it is..

"That alchemy is a science and art of making a fermented powder which transmits the imperfect metals into gold and which is a useful remedy for all the natural illnesses of animal and of plants. Well that's very interesting and a big bold claim. Oh yeah and i am of the opinion. That big pharma rockefeller medicine have done a lot to suppress natural cures or biology in this sort of stuff by capturing the schools and teaching aspiring minds that all of that was superstition and bullshit. But what can be said about alchemy. Spongier djuric's and their effectiveness as a medicinal practice overall. Will i would say that would speed. And this is the the alchemy of class. Let's say and this is where this where it's usually encouraged for most people who wanna start the practice of alchemy to start to work with minerals not to work with metals mostly because those ten towards the poisonous toxic side not to say there aren't any toxic poisonous plants either. But there's more friendly things you can work with like rosemary lavender etcetera etcetera. So you would work with those herbs as an herbalist would prescribe herb. Or medicinal purpose. Has that same use or has one of those things since what urban alchemy does or spongier does that regular herbal. Tinctures don't do is. It uses all three components. The plant of the object so in alchemy. There are three principles that make up anything mercury. Sulphur insult okay. So in an herb salt would be the body. So the mineral salts of the plant the sulfur would be the essential oil of the plant and then the mercury would be the spirit of the plant in other words what comes out of as it decomposes so it actually ferments and creates alcohol spirit and so the idea then is by separating out these three things and purifying them you potent ties the effect or the impact of the right and the.

"Best skinny of your life. I have to say. I want to try it out where they are in. New york absolute. We're all over the world and you should try it out. Because i will tell you. There's no downtime. You'll you'll feel great. Most consumers walkout raving. We have the one of the highest. Nps or is in the category. I think the highest the category depending on how you measure it so incredibly high consumer loyalty and you look great immediately. Go right back to work off. Your skin is clean. It's glowing your makeup. Goes on better. You feel better about yourself. Whatever it may be you've just it's just a lean health clean beauty of feel good about yourself treatment and what i think is interesting when you look at your dog documented different documents. It seems like this is something a lot of men. Men are doing absolutely in fact when you look at medical aesthetics. It was about ten percent and ninety percent women. This is trending close to thirty percent. And i think it's going to grow even faster as we launch more programs and products directly directly at the mail. So this this is really omni channel. We sit in sephora. We sit in hotels. We sit in doctor's offices. We're all over the place now to help us get around this 'cause you're always created valuation evaluation. That's roughly eleven times this year sales. That's eight times. Twenty five million and first of all you could say jim i most. These companies aren't even profitable ours problem but second you really understand where something sits in this space. Is that our people ahead of themselves or is it just the growth prospect so great growth. Two things one. The growth prospects are tremendous this is company pre pandemic that was growing relax for years at a fifty two percent. Kager top line so really break. Time point growth multiple leverage for additional growth. Not just expanding in the us or were just very low. Double digit penetration but international growth is is massive for us. And then i think you have to. You have to realize that. When i acquired this company i made this deal at the heart of the pandemic so i bought this at a rock bottom valuation. I think today's valuation reflects what it would have probably traded for. If i tried to do the job today. One thing that i thought was really fascinating. The different things you have. There's influencers social media driving purchases. I agree with that next. But this is something that i really like. Aging millennials are spending more on skin-care preferring experiences over products. So in other words they liked goto. Place called a spa. They're familiar with the asking for this for this product or will find it from influencers and doing weekends at naive is it. I mean because it seems like it's a. It's something that people want to do it. You're you're right not only. They don't on weekends at night though did on their lunch break. And what's even more interesting to the experiential component is. We're seeing retailers so for being a key partner of ours but others around the world wanting to put the machine in their store even clothing retailers to create more experiential shopping situation. Because this is something that could be done so weasley and again everybody loves it so it just creates such a good feeling for everybody involved. The machine is at the spa. And it's a razor razor blade model so once people get excited about it they want it. They can do a monthly subscription. Well some places offer monthly subscriptions we offer. Obviously it's like a djuric machine you can put whatever skin care regiment. Indoor machine that you need whether you have rose asia or acne oily skin dry skin. We sell an upgrade people to boosters which are higher margin depending on advanced care just launch eric. They're a program with that will really clean the scalp and help Refresh the scalp and boosters grows boosters in the scout we have a home device coming so there's so many other things that are yet to come with this treatment. It's just just scratching at the beginning of of what's possible here but one last question i'm used to used to brits owners as ceo not the executive chairman. You've got a pretty experienced terrific ceo but in certain point i mean is his company or a year company. I clint cornell's are ceo. He runs the company day to day. That's his job as the boss. I'm working with lint on strategy on 'em manet on investor work in really just as a sounding more to him as this is his baba company but incredibly experienced guy and he's done such an amazing job with dumping already. I am excited to see what he does next. You gus you go into the office while there's no real office anymore places but you're this is really active for. You're not going to do three more packs now. I'm not a serial back guy this is. This is what i wanna do. My legacy hopefully as beauty health company. And i do this as a platform. I really want to build this company. I'm going to create a bundle of these types of services these beauty health services and really be the best that the world at providing. These technologies to med spas and hotels and aestheticians around the world. I think it's a great idea. I really do.

This is nice shady little back road and stopped win about thirty feet away park under some trees and turn my car off and these people were in two thousand two toyota mom looking van and they were looking for me and on the speed right past me. I didn't hog my thing. I just sat still in. I waited for about ten minutes sitting there waiting waiting. And then my phone on my tyra goes off after ten minutes. I'm like all right. Let's get back to work now. Yeah it was an interesting morning is good to hear. Your manager was understanding. And you're able to lose this guy. Because i can't imagine what would have happened if he did find you. He sounds like he was that he was mad. Because he thought i was being total. Djuric said confronting the person to person a good idea but also trying to go to work. Man i wasn't trying to make anyone else met so it sounds like you are a safe driver. In comparison to your friends as you're describing so would you consider yourself someone who would honk or a honker. I am a hawker. When i do get mad or irritated. Someone like i'm driving. Whatever wrote them on and they cut me off or they're they don't use their turn signal and again in front of me not to slow down. I hawk them. I'll just like beat my horn atom multiple times. That's only if i'm really angry and aggravated other than that. I'm not a honker so just kind of let it go. And i'm like all right. No busy i'll just move on need to get more people following you. Speaking of annoying drivers what would you say. Is your biggest driving pet peeve. Oh god oh lord okay this has to do with more paranoia but my biggest pepitas when it's late at night or i'm trying to get home or going..

"Comes from jeff djuric here. He is one of my favorite places in the world is bandon dunes golf resort. And if you're a golfer you know where it is and you know why. It's one of my favorite places if you're not a golfer. It's an oregon. You can look if you want. But i'm just using that as a point of reference. One of my favorite places at that resort is not actually on a golf course. It's in the woods. And if you take one of the walking paths you can get to this clearing where they've laid out a labyrinth in this. Labyrinth is a walking path with twists and turns in places where you have to double back and it's essentially. It's a walking meditation path and is designed as a metaphor for the twists and turns that life brings us but that metaphor concludes with you realizing that there were always going to be twists and turns that your path was never going to be a straight line yet. As long as you start and you keep moving forward. You'll get to where you need to go now. Elaborate looks like maze but amazes fundamentally different and that there are a lot of pads that you can take and many of those paths lead to dead ends and when you get to a dead end you feel like you have no choice but to go right back to where you started and maybe try again in a way that is going to be successful. This time you hope now has made everything in sales a lot less clear over the past year plus and it's easy to get frustrated. It's easy to feel like you've run into a dead end because the way you were going on that path seems to have changed there was an unexpected. Turn re twist a. You didn't necessarily like the people who are going to succeed. The people who will always succeed are the ones who embrace those obstacles for the opportunities that they present every twist every turn is an opera an opportunity to learn something. It's an opportunity to continue to move forward though. It feels like you're moving sideways. It's an opportunity to remember that your road to success was never going to be a straight line and it's way more interesting when it's not a straight line then you learn so much more when you have to step to the side when you have to go in another direction when you have to learn a new skill to continue to move forward the people who are going to be successful who will always be successful. Who always have been the ones will be. Successful are the ones who have dealt with these adversities and kept them in stride and continue to move forward because they know when they keep moving forward. They'll eventually get to where they need to go. Things are always going to happen. They're outside of your control. We need to remember. Is that the things that are always within your control or the you. You always have to focus on the things that are within your control because those are the things that lead to your success. I know the last year or so has been very very frustrating. And i know that it has given many of you who are listening to this right now. Pause and an opportunity to think about whether or not you're in the right place whether or not you're doing the right things but when you know that you're doing the right things when you know that the obstacles create opportunities and present really good chances for you to develop into something greater than you are right now you lean into those opportunities you keep moving forward. No step is too small. If it's headed in the right direction just make sure you keep taking steps. That's the biggest difference between the labyrinth and the maze is. If you keep taking steps you will eventually get to where you need to go so when you think about how. Frustrating selling through. Kobe has been remember that there is another covid type. Something coming there is always something around the corner. I can mess up your mo jo that can get in your way the remember a couple of things one that makes the whole journey a lot more interesting to the lessons that you learn along the way making more equipped to handle the adversity that is inevitably coming and remember that as long as you keep moving forward. You'll eventually get to where you want.

"djuric" Discussed on Sales Success Stories

"The front lines of lick. Virtually almost all communication right like when countries are reaching trade agreements. Let's just say you know like it's sales people right that are that are like breaking down. Those initial walls like huge enterprise deals when we're talking about the text base like that that's all initiated by salespeople. You had the person on the show. Who if i remember correctly initiated talks between lincoln microsoft. That's not quite accurate but yes episode. One folks episode one so the real story is mike. Duggan was on the podcast. And mike was it linked and he was the number one account manager and he was managing the microsoft relationship. Kind of right before. And i think even during the time that microsoft acquired lincoln so i joked in that episode that he was responsible for a forty billion dollar acquisition or or whatever that that number is it's not quite real but but it was. It was fun will. Some salesperson had to break down those initial walls. Right is i guess. Like that's the that's the sauce is like where where the front lines right of like. All of these. Like groundbreaking that eventually come to fruition. So it's just like a fascinating right of like when you think about sales like you're you're really and i saw someone posted something then recently. Like you're you're really just managing people at an extraordinarily high level emotionally and intrinsically motivated wise. Right yeah yeah. I wanna come back to this as sort of an interesting continuation from what will be the episode before this and we were talking about some of this motivation stuff in. It's fascinating that you used the word fulfillment. Because i i think well let me ask. This does the motivation changed. Do you think about those drivers differently. When you're in that place of. I gotta make sure that. I've got my nut covered and i'm earning enough to pay my bills and just take care of the basics and then once you get of course point. Does the driver start to shift is at the level. And how does it shift. Yes a good question. And obviously this has to do with each and every person's goals right like there are people out there that like wanna be the top earner you know that there ever was and one have the best numbers and everything for me. I'm not so just purely financially motivated. You know that it's just like a like pure numbers game to your previous point. Like i do definitely point point out fulfillment. Because i do definitely think it's. It's something that's important like. It's only very recently that the mental health conversation has really has really seeped. it's way into sales. And i really do largely believe that has a larger impact on our outcomes than we choose to realize like somebody who's on the phone with someone right that's already at quota like they don't necessarily have that commission breath right like they're gonna sell better than someone who's desperate you know than someone who may be soon on the chopping block so i really can appreciate that. The mental health conversation has has made its way into sales more. But i guess like where does that point truly begin to blossom right like where like how does that actually impacts our performance on a deep level. Yeah it's so funny that you bring that up so that the david we're recording this. I believe it's tip seven twenty nine. This is exactly what jeff djuric just talked about in the talks about being your best sale self and he talks about the recognition in himself that.

"djuric" Discussed on I Read Comic Book

"Was the moment where i needed to absolutely just stopped breathing once for all or i was just going to see this all the way through to the end and like at this point. I'm like who is this book for like. Is this book for kids. Is this book. Like for youths. Hunger games sorta thing then they showed. Doctor here's another name. I'm gonna butcher but at least this one's fictional so maybe i don't feel as bad Her name is jonah djuric in. She's topless smoking a cigarette. The eyepatches still affixed to the front of her her Her head and she's just had sex with Colonel takashi to catchy takeshi. oh my goodness nakimora the other adult who's basically overseeing this whole process. And i'm like okay so clearly. This focus for metal gear fans. We've got smoking and we've got eyepatches. I know who this is for On that note like can we bring smoking back can we. Can we know. can we look with. I think we have a responsibility. Let's as host of this show. I have to say that smoking smoking's not cool. I'm just just calling it out for everybody who's listening. Why nick fuck is this book. Nick what are we getting the play by play here or is there actually a lot. More than what you're describing. I mean like beyond this point right. So we flash forward in these kids get sent to this planet. You know to basically enact revenge for one sixth of earth being obliterated and we ended up like fighting these these aliens that look like orange crystalline versions of glob from axeman. And you know it's it's again it's high-concept the actions really well done. I think one of the things that you kind of always struggle with in a book like this is when you have all of the characters just constantly wearing armor all the time in helmets all the time right it kind of becomes a question of how do you make everybody instantly identifiable right and this is why i also think these people played halo reach because halo reach really..

Verona handed partial stadium ban over racist abuse towards Mario Balotelli

"Batali on the receiving end as he played for Brescia. Verona Verona of subsequently being handed a one-match partial stadium closure over the racist abuse. Suffered by Ayala tally in a club. Statement Verona confirmed the supporter in question WHO's the head of the ultras At Verona Luca Castellini. I was given a ban until June thirty at twenty thirty and I'm not going to repeat what Castellini said about Mario Batali but the statements enough for me to warrant a lifetime ban for this guy and you know there was some people talking about the way ballot. Telly reacted when it was all going down. What did he booted the ball? And he talked about that He's I'm reading from this from the Daily Mail. The Italian striker admits he felt he quote had to react and reveals. It hurt three times as much because his young daughter was watching on TV. He said I know that we're not supposed to give these people attention. But we can't just not underline the seriousness of what they're doing either Belly told us to Eleni television. He said if I don't react nothing will happen. You can call me an idiot. I don't mind that but if you call me a n that's it's not done by mistake. That's serious I stopped play because I thought that's it I'd had enough. I say punish those who were guilty and not the whole curva because that is the beauty of football. I never accused the whole city. Idea Verona. Just those few idiots who are responsible. It's unbelievable that here. We are because I remember the last time player booted ball into the stand in that manner. I can remember it was it was for. AC Mellon maybe eight or nine years ago and they were playing lower league team same uncertainly one of their black players was was subject to this abuse and to see it repeat itself is terrible can get out of this. Well there's one. Other guy that I wanted dimension here Verona's manager Ivan Djuric. Who basically instead of reacting the way that like you would hope the opposing manager would in a situation in like this and show some contrition instead? This is like Sadly it feels like this is the playbook that it nope didn't happen when they go straight to that And it's I don't know it. Just it just sheds this light this like sadly consistent light upon on the way these issues are handled in that league. Yes you're just waiting for someone like of note somebody of prominence to step forward and just like like the Italian government maybe well. Yeah Yeah because I saved this last week came up on my phone from the BBC. And I saved it Because then you this was going to happen again and I just thought look at the reaction to this versus the reaction to racism in Syria. To Italian footballers have being given one-match bans for drum roll. Please blasphemy during series matches. Salo's Francesco Imaginary paramore's Matteo scored Allah were shown on television making blasphemous remarks in separate incidents. There is a strict ban on taking God's name him and Van in Italy of the nation's Football Association has discipline players her doing so. Since twenty ten almost a decade Houdini and as a midfielder Orlando Mandra was banned for the offense in two thousand eighteen. And according to not the government's room but rules but the Italian f.a.s.t rules players who wear t shirts with personal messages to their family or which make reference to their religious beliefs will also be punished so this is this. This is possible the Italian government can get involved. But there's no will to do wish none whatsoever like the idea. Blasphemy man who may or may not exist depending on what you believe in. That's fine in the sky. Gets all the respect. You'll get a match bat instantly for blasphemy for saying. Oh Oh God or something of that nature but your fellow human being but your fellow human being that has a beating heart and blood and nervous system and thoughts and feelings is and family and future and hopes and dreams. He gets on the long finger. There's protocol that has to be followed. Whatever the hell that means for that guy but for man in the sky no problem no problem so that is just another window into society when the Italian government can can interject into into Italian football and band for saying God but racism? It's a tricky not one. How are we gonNA come on? It's ridiculous and it's all about power structures and the will to actually tackle this
