"So paul your introduction. To the gay bar scene was in columbus ohio for young man exploring his sexuality that must have been quite a memorable experience. What bar was it. And what was it like for you. Young man well. I grew up in a small town in central ohio. I did not even really know what the word gay meant. When i was growing up. I went to a catholic school. So my first introduction to the whole concept of homosexuality was in religion class and you can imagine the spin that they put on it not not a positive one so i grew up with a lot of shame like a lot of other gay people And it took me until. I was twenty one years old before i came out and i had just graduated from college and was really eager to find my community and that was before you know there were there. There were a whole lot of ways to connect online. the internet. i mean was there but it really wasn't. It wasn't what it is today so the way that you met people in the queer community was to to go out at night and i had a friend that took me to my first gay bar. Which was this kind of dive bar in. Downtown columbus called the the eagle think probably every every town has a eagle. So i've heard so many different people say they they went to the eagle and it was always in a different city. But we had our eagle and i just remember how cool it was to go in there Be around other people like myself to have the kind of music that i liked playing. That was a i. I'd always felt so strange when i was growing up. You know. I love listening to all all my favorite divas and nobody else that i knew had any of those same interests so i felt so weird in alone then suddenly i go into this bar. The little dive bar in downtown columbus and i found my people and i loved it.

Every time the left they they're they're good at names. Divas a pro fascist. They only call themselves. Anti-fascists ca stupid people in the media. Believe they're dopey title so yeah. There was an actual insurrection. Last night in portland. You won't hear anything about it because there were no trump supporters involved in this. But here's a video and a place. There's not much sound to it. So i'll have to talk over a little bit but they literally tried to do. I hate that word. They tried to burn down the court house and portland last night. Check this out. This is just fascinating why it's not a front page story in the new york times washington poster at these other legacy media outlets. Why why are we not seeing the story. There's an actual fire here as you can see in the video a fire in the front of the portland. Courthouse that the antifa people were trying to set while there were people inside now joe last check. That's really not a good idea. That's very dangerous. And i highly recommend nobody ever do that now. Why that's not a story again is quite obvious because if there was one person a maga- hat it would be all over the front page of the news.

"Money wherever you listen to podcasts. There's been so much controversy. At the voice of america and its parent agency that it's easy to forget the human toll executives fired reporters investigated reputations shattered all part of an ideological civil war begun by former president trump's appointee to the agency. Npr's david folkenflik reports the us agency for global media overseas the voice of america and other federally funded international broadcasters. Last monday just two days before he resigned. Michael pack defended his record on fox news. I've been head of the agency for about seven months. And my only goal has been to get it to fulfil its legally mandated mission. Its charter which is present objective balanced comprehensive news. Tell america's story to the world others who worked under pack till npr a different story. It was actually one of the most surreal times of my career and federal government. That's dan handling a senior advisor to the ceo. When pack took office handling joined the trump white house team during the transition in two thousand sixteen and stayed throughout hanlin says he figured his loyalty to the administration would never be in doubt he was wrong. Pack decided almost immediately that hamlin and need weren't to be trusted and he banished them to the far corners of the agency. Headquarters found a foosball table. And since they weren't talking to us we would come in or nine o'clock and stamp out five o'clock and we play football day and we just sit there in common. About how absurd. This whole thing was hamlin's says it was a sign of worse to come. I don't think he had a plan other than to just blow the place up. Voice of america's top officials resigned. Pack fired the presidents of all the other networks back also suspended six top agency executives and paid private law firms millions of dollars to investigate them and the also refused to extend visas for any foreign employees implying they could be spies. Do Low-Carb Diets Really Boost Your Metabolism?

"And welcome to the nutrition diva podcast. I'm your host. Monica reindel and today. I'm taking a look at a new study suggesting that you you can burn more calories simply by reducing the amount of carbohydrate in your diet now according to the latest google search data interest in the kito janik diet appears to have waned significantly lately but the popular and scientific fascination with low carb diets persists the ketogenic that we've been hearing so much about lately is of course just the latest reincarnation of other diets that severely restrict carbohydrates including the atkins south beach and do candidates and the goal of these very low carb diets or the very low carb phases of these diets is to induce ketosis. Where the body's cells are forced to burn fat for energy instead of sugar now although sugar or carbohydrate is the body's preferred source of cellular energy we do have very flexible metabolisms and so if sugar isn't available and fat is the body can switch over to burn fat instead sort of like a car that can run on both gas and electric power if the electric battery runs out of juice. The car can then earn gasoline until you have a chance to recharge your batteries. Now just because the body is using fat as its fuel source. That doesn't necessarily mean it's burning body fat i. It's going to be burning the fact that you eat and ketogenic diets tend to be very high in fat. You'll only start burning body fat for energy when your body runs out of dietary fuel. So if you are taking in fewer calories than you're using your body will turn to its fat stores to make up the difference but this is true of any dietary approach not just low carb diets. So why the continuing fascination with very low carb diets well one advantage of being in ketosis for a prolonged period of time. Is that it suppresses. Your appetite and that can make it easier to eat less but in order to reap this advantage. You have to be pretty strict in your avoidance of carbohydrates but we also need to talk about something called the carbohydrate insulin hypothesis very low carb diets also tend to reduce blood sugar levels and insulin production. One of the normal and necessary biological functions of insulin is to promote fat storage and the carbohydrate. Insulin thesis supposes that a diet high in carbohydrates would result in higher insulin levels and that would in turn cause you to store fat and become obese restricting carbohydrates therefore should suppress insulin trigger fat-burning and reverse obesity and the carbohydrate insulin theory also argues that low carb diets lead to weight loss because they increase your metabolism or the number of calories. You burn theoretically you would lose more weight on a low carb diet than you would on a high carb diet that provided the exact same number of calories. This is a very attractive hypothesis. The problem is that study after study including some that were designed and funded by proponents of the carbohydrate. Insulin theory have failed to prove it. True one very strictly controlled study which evaluated a very low carb diet against a high carb diet that provided the exact same number of calories found no significant difference in the number of calories burned and a slightly lower rate of fat loss in the low carb group and that brings us to this latest study which was a meta analysis in which the results of twenty nine different studies were assessed to see whether cardiac it's increased resting energy expenditure. That's a measure of your basic metabolic rate. The lead author of this latest analysis. David ludwig and he's one of the primary champions of the carbohydrate insulin hypothesis. Clearly he has not given up on his theory and the finding did support ludwig's hypothesis lower carb diets did in fact speed up the metabolism. But before we get too excited about this. There are a few details that bear mentioning most of these twenty-nine studies were just a few days long. Some weren't even an entire day long. They just compared the effects of a single meal many of the diets that were in the low carb arms of these comparisons were not actually very low in carbs and in many of the studies. The difference in carbohydrates between the two arms that they were comparing was actually quite small despite headlines. This analysis doesn't add much to our understanding of the effects of low carb diets metabolism because most of the studies included weren't really low carb diets. Or we're just too short to actually be meaningful.

Piyanka Jain On How To Growth Hack Using Data

"Hello welcome everybody. Thanks for joining me. My name is guide today. I'm gonna teach you how you can use attacking to grow your own business. So before i start how you can use growth hacking. Let me start by describing or explaining what growth hacking is. And for that. I'm gonna read an exit from my book behind good decision. So he goes growth hacking discipline within organization with the senior focus of driving. Scalable growth. Hacking team typically consists of product development design analytics and marketing and it uses a pole strategy to attract customers that is the include engagement driving experiences within the product by understanding uses motivation behavior and provide immediate value to engage customers. What's his the traditional margin approach of marketing department reaching each customers after the broad theme has This again is expected from my book behind a good decision for those who are interested. So you guys thinking some of you. Maybe you have a million dollar business. You have a few team members in your thinking okay. You're talking about a multidisciplinary approach with broader development design analytics marketing and his team of three or team of one. And nobody's folks at what we are trying to. What would this is trying to say. Is that essentially. The growth hacking needs input from different aspects of business so it needs a product in the design put. It needs analytics. Marketing put and it can be done by that same person. And i'll show you. What are the key components of attacking so therefore key competence of growth hockey. Go through one by one by one. And isaac go toward that also a showcase this with an example from facebook. How facebook did that so the forest competent of growth hacking is a must have product so fullest. You need a product or service that is currently able to engage majority of your. You must already coming to your side and that is your based products and so much. You must understand so growth hacking chicken. Take you you cannot take you from zero to ten it. Can you know if you already have on. You already. Taken your your your website. You have someone gives you. You already have your water to take an exhibit. One wrote hacking bake you from one to ten and so that is the kind of exponential growth if you do it systematically can be enabled. So what does it mean so you. For example for your product you already have a product or service that is you know that that that your end users are quite enjoying and they're coming back for your side That is your must have products. The second competent of growth hacking is undestand must have experiences. What does that mean. So you need to understand your most Engaged consumer and through research analysis figured out what their needs are what they love their side and you know and so this would include finding girls drivers you know for example things that uses do which engages them we use a framework call. Three questions to be going through. This will rock lines or teach our We teach Through courses entrepreneurs like you of how do you. How do you understand how you unravel the growth drivers for your own business. And that's called tricky questions. Famous miss by the way framework is also dead book behind every good decisions for those of few interested in the book is available on amazon and other places and the chapter you're looking for is under leadership section. It's called tricky questions book. So what essentially the key questions framework is is the three pillars three key questions. You ask the first question. You ask your a day business. How am i doing and through asking this question. You define the defining the key metrics with which you're to measure the success of your business. You know the top. Kpi's the second question to ask. What are my business. Diva's dynamics what drives on doing that. You answered by what for your assists and these will help you unravel the key drivers for your business. For example if y'all measurement you know how you doing By growth and profitable. Maybe a bit then the drivers of business you know. Maybe it's an acquisition strategy. Maybe it's engine started so you'll you'll need to figure out your own business and third competent off or the third party. The third part of the third key question is who my customers. How language so once you're used this approach this'll help you 'unravel the must have experienced. That is the driver for example for for facebook. What they found was that point when they suppose that was voted five million customers already out when they established us. What being both hacking

Building Confidence with Jonathan Van Ness

"Hello jonathan so. I'm a huge fan of queer eye and of yours personally because you're radiating joey all over the place whether it's watching you learn to figure skate on i g or your daily morning coffee boogie you. I really just love all of your content And virtually officiating a wedding. That was also very cool during quarantine so cool so we're really honored to have you on breaking beauty. Podcast tell us from your perspective like what is self confidence. What does it look like. And why is it important. Pay attention to. Oh that's a really good question. I think for me. Self confidence is so important because it will competence is like one of the central tenets of self of like being centered self and what that means is in the therapy that i've done so much of is like we wanna be self led like my idea. Being sulfide is like the person that like. Even if i'm late or things of kind of gone awry like i can still be calm. I'm not reactive inaugurated you know. You're centered selfish. Very like calm clear compassionate courageous. It's like really like the best version of yourself and so confidence is part of that in so when you feel confident that's like a really good indicator for me when i feel confidence a really good indicator for me that my centered south. I miss. i'm not in an a people pleasing my personality. I'm not in a irritated part of my personality. I'm not in like a overly work mode part of my personality. I'm like you know self-led fled so accurately talks about that. There's a lot of people in virtual eaters and spiritual thinkers who think who talk about being selfless. So confidence is such a big piece of that. But i think the thing that people miss the most often about confidence and i know that for myself i did too is that you can be competent and you can have a part of you. That feels really confident about something but then also really insecure about something else and can happen at the same time There's parts of you that feel confident but then there's other parts that you know are insecure about certain things and so the trick is is wet part of yourself. Can you identify with. Can you hear from that part. That might wanna change something or maybe doesn't like something about yourself and say look i hear you like i get it. I understand why you might feel that way about yourself. This is like you talking to yourself. Maybe we got those ideas from society or like something. That doesn't really feel organic to us. Like while i hear what you're saying i need to get in the back seat because actually centered. South is here. And we're not going to be berating ourselves today about that like expectation of beauty that we know that part of me has for how it's supposed to him kind of china mores in it by with this parliament industrial confidence about you know my heart may essence. What i do for my friends what i do for me. The only or feels like super confident about my face. I have i will say this. Maybe i am maybe really competent. But my face is like one thing. I've never been self conscious about like. I've always thought like a really pretty face like i've cobblers. I like i've always been like work. There's other so. I always looks like something. You feel competent. It doesn't mean physical thing it can be a piece of who you are and then just tried to identify with that. Because i think there's anyone who feels completely competent about everything all the time every single thing. Yeah i read in your bio that from a really young age like forever. You were out and i and i think about back then like what gives you the confidence to express your authentic self. Even from a young age. I say the include ryan episodes of like you know there really was like i could really be in a closet if you had like is in ears like if you were in my presence. You were very much like okay. "To do a bit of an entertainment year in review. I'm joined now by DeLana Dixon, editor in chief at diva gals daily dot com. She's also a guest host on the naughty but nice with rob Shooter podcast, which he confined, of course on her radio DeLana. Thanks so much for taking a few minutes to talk to us about this and look back at the year and entertainment in 2020, and I think the first place to start is going all the way back to January of this year and the big news involving member Of the royal family. Oh my goodness, The biggest story of the year and definitely about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because they actually stepped down from the royal family. Now, back in January, they basically said If we're out on what that meant, is that they were going to lose their Royal Highness titles. They were no longer going to accept the money. Any public money from London? They had to pay back $3 million that they used to refurbish their capital out in London. So one of the reasons why they wanted to do this is because Circle. They wanted to make their own money. But secondly, they had been under such scrutiny now. Obviously, Prince Harry, he married an American. She's divorced. She's a person of color and they got so much and God for that. Meghan actually did an interview where, she said now remember, he used to be on a show called Suits on USA Network. She's used to being in the public eye, but she said, I didn't realize it was going to be this intense. And the negative, so don't worry about them. They're doing fine. They've moved to the United States, their living as very exclusive county and Santa Barbara. They live in Montecito. Their standard. Their famous neighbor is Oprah. They're not doing too bad for themselves and for money. Well, you know what they signed a production deal with Netflix, which is estimated at about $100 million so buried. You're okay. They're gonna be producing content. So now they're they're here and you know, from what we hear. Harry is very interested in getting his American citizenship and becoming a U. S. A. U S citizens and they're just enjoying their time with their son, Archie and living the American life. Here's the thing Clearly, since they have a deal with Netflix. They know what Netflix is. Meghan Markle never watched the crown. She didn't know what she was stepping into. Really Well, you know that the crown is pretty much in a third season and from what we hear you are not going to see anything on Prince Terrien Meghan Markle because they had a little comfort. Asian with Netflix and said, You know what if you could just, you know, stop right before you get us and how we met in our wedding. We think that would be a great list in the story. So you're not going to see that they're obviously you know, Lifetime did a couple of movies about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and people are really interested in finding out more about them. But I can pretty much guarantee you They're not going to be doing a reality show, you know, alive with Meghan and Harry and Archie from month. Speedo. You are not going to see that they're gonna be producing very, um, you know, high very like Like your documentaries about the world and saving the world. That's what their platform is. All of that

Viola Davis and Chadwick Boseman star in 'Ma Rainey'

"The enter chadwick. Boseman died of cancer in august at the age of forty three not long after he finished shooting the movie mall. Rainey's black bottom now streaming on netflix. The movie stars viola. Davis is the famous blue singer mall rainy and was adapted from august. Wilson's play our film critic. Justin chang says that boseman's final screen performance ranks among his very best. One reason chadwick boseman was such. An extraordinary actor was his ability to command the screen without hogging the spotlight. His presence was so quietly magnetic that even when he played real life. Heroes like jackie robinson and thurgood marshall or fictional ones like king to challa in black panther. He still seemed like the most self effacing of movie stars but boseman could also go big like when he took on james brown in the musical bio-pic get on up and gave his most electrifying performance. Until now it's devastating. That ma rainey's black bottom is the last new. Boseman movie will ever see this. Excellent adaptation of august wilson's nineteen eighty to play from the director george c wolfe and the screenwriter ruben. Santiago hudson is both a precious parting gift and a punch in the gut even more than get on up. Boseman holds nothing back. He emptied himself out onscreen. He plays levy a gifted and ambitious trumpet player struggling to forge his way in a white man's world or this case a white man's recording studio where most of the movie takes place. It's a sweltering hot day in nineteen twenty seven chicago in the pioneering southern blues singer ma rainey played by a superb viola. Davis is planning to record some of her most popular songs. Mas name may be in the place title. But she isn't the main narrative focus here much of the story unfolds while the four musicians in her band are waiting for her to show up at the studio. During the rehearsal session cutler the guitar and trombone player played by colman. Domingo wants to stick with their usual arrangement for a particular song but levy wants to use a new edgier version that he composed. It doesn't take long for the arguments to start and the egos to emerge. How's your name in. So i just played a piece whatever they want them. Criticizing the people's music like you. I got talent. Oh man is we tagged. My dad had a note. I was gonna turn out like the name mccabe. I'm going to give me a bad and make some shots. I don't give them instead of my. I wrote and he say going to let me record when i get my band together. I just got last part of song. I got stopped or everybody gets out there. And other keeping the same idea from the beginning in everybody got a game plan for all his outward swagger boseman later lays bare. The anguish beneath levies self-assured grin in a spellbinding monologue about his southern childhood. He reveals the acts of violence that were committed against his family by a gang of white men he's witnessed unspeakable horrors and fought hard for his shot at success. And he's not about to let anyone stand in his way not even marini herself when she finally shows up at the studio via davis who won an oscar for her work. In another wilson. Adaptation fences is magnificent. Here in the kind of full throated diva showcase. She's rarely taken on becoming more rainy. Required quite the transformation davis wears a padded rubber suit and sports. A mouthful of gold teeth and her vocals are supplied by the singer. Maxine lewis but the performance never feels needlessly. Flashy and davis is best moments are the ones in which she shows us. Ma rainey's anxious calculating side when she stops the recording session because no one's brought her the bottle of coke she always insists on before singing. She isn't just causing a fuss. Exactly what she's worth and how much power she commands in a predominantly white male industry and she's determined to push yourself right up to that line without crossing it marines. Black bottom is one of ten plays in august. Wilson's epic pittsburgh cycle and the only one that isn't actually set in pittsburgh wilson's insights into the complexities of twentieth century. African american experience cemented his reputation as one of this country's greatest dramatists. The filmmakers haven't opened up the material in the manner of so many stage to screen adaptations if anything they've ruthlessly tightened the play and paired it down to essentials wolf directs at a furious clip. The sets are spare even drab which has the effect of your concentration on the performances and while boseman and davis are the stars of the show. Every actor gets a chance to shine including michael potts as the bass player. Slow drag and glenn termine reprising his role as the pianist toledo from twenty sixteen revival at the heart of the play is the bond between levy a fictional creation and rainy. A real life figure. The two are antagonistic by nature levy keeps trying to put his own stamp on mas music and he makes the mistake of trying to seduce. Her young girlfriend played by taylor. Page but levy and ma are also kindred spirits. They're both trying to make authentic commercially viable art with an assistant bent on exploiting their talents but levy doesn't have martinis experience or her knack for self preservation and the weight of his past trauma ultimately proves too much to overcome the climax is hunting beyond words were seeing a man peering into an abyss played by an actor who knew his own life was slipping away chadwick. Big Freedia "Queen of Bounce"

"On stage in front of a sweaty crowd of people pushed together dress their best remember? Beginning crowds of people with other sweaty people and being dressed your best and not just wearing pajamas all the time. Bounce music is party music and big Frida will she's the Queen abounds. It's a sub genre hip hop that originated in New Orleans, where big Frieda is from people lose their minds when they see big freedom perform. She wraps torques and she Wants you to both rap and torque. Big Frieda has had a busy year despite the pandemic. Last time we spoke on cue, she had just released new music. She was hosting Friday night shakedown parties and a cooking show. And now she's got a new holiday deep and her 2015 memoir, God, Save the Queen Diva. Is out in paperback. I got up with Big Frieda over Zoom, and she started off by explaining what it is that she loves that she adores about bounce music. I mean, I love my crowd. First and foremost, I love the culture of bounce music. I love the origin way comes from my love The people that love the music. The sound the base the boom, they're not, You know, I love everything about it. It's You know is what I know. It's what I grew up listening to is what I enjoy. It is my type of music. What do you think it is that the audience gets out of it. Like when? What do you think that when people watch you and your dancers go like what do you think they get out of it? Well, A lot of people have told me over and over that it's like a bounce revival. You know, like they some type of spirit comes within them. And they, you know, they let their self loose and they lay their hair down and they party and they have a good time. I'm so happy you said about survival. I want to play this. Take a listen. Please don't harm being faces. Either room killers all read in about a minute Walk, Walk, walk, walk up in the room maker maker becoming a man's globules. No one's reading you. That is my guest. Big freedom. Performing the title track offer latest Keep Louder, which came out earlier this year featuring I kind of pop. So Bounce revival you in this in the video for that there's bounce and there's gospel music, So let's just let's just get their facts straight here. You started out in the church right in church choir. Did. I started out Very young in church. Um, I later became a choir director and my church home at my high school. I had my own choir somewhere Many quiet around New Orleans traveled the world with a choir. So yes, started in gospel music, and then you had to make a decision right between bounce and gospel. Well, at some point, I'd be it. You know, One sound. I started to get heavier. And so the bounce music and things kind of started to take off for me. I kind of have to make a decision. Yeah, but that was that a hard call. Itwas. It was very hard. Um, you know, I talk to a few people. First. I talked to my mom and then I talked to a few people at the church. I talked to my godmother, Georgia who's in the book. Um, you know about the situation and about what was going on in my life in these transitions, and yeah, it was a hard call. And, you know, my mom always said no matter what, long as you keep God first and everything that you do, I think you'll be okay and that stuck with me and I made my decision right? You're right, because it's not just a matter of like, I don't have a lot of time. Like I have. I have to get me That's part of it. But it's also sort of a spiritual decision, you know? Yeah, it is. You know, I was tossing and turning, you know, while making the decision off, you know, going into over crossing over to bounce music, but I never lost my faith. And I never lost my hope. And I never lost my love for gospel music. Still listen to it all the time. I still you know, Go back and saying what the quiet when we have unions, so I'm still you know, I'm still connected. And And you know, the building is the is just the place and I still have church in. They must love to see you when you come in to sing with the choir again. Oh, yeah, it be like old times. You know, we'd be all happy to see each other, You know, And then I go back into a whole nother person. I'm not freedom. When I go to church, you know, it's like I go back to when I was growing up and where my roots come from, so It brings me back in the aisle. I love to be reminded of where I come from. Well, let's let's bring it back to what you said earlier about about survival. What similarities? You see between bounce and gospel? Well, um, I see a lot of singularities first. I see that, you know, is a gathering of people and then You know, there's something that come over them. You know when they're at abound. Show that something that comes over them when they're at church. I'm also still directing. I'm directing. When I was directing in church. I will open my hands and people will, you know, saying now one pointing my finger and people shaking ass is so it has a lot of similarities. Still, you know, I feel still like, feel kind of feel like the director when I'm on stage. Yeah, The The intention in the process is the same. The result is a tiny bit different. I get it. Yeah. Most most of the time for church, people falling on pews. And, uh, you know, when I'm at abound, shield they're they're falling out with their ass is My guest is my guest is big Frieda. Another thing that struck me in your book, and you mentioned this. Just that actually was how strong your relationship was with your mom. Um, I know I know your mom since past I'm really sorry for your loss, and I I could only imagine what it would have lost. That must be because you get the feeling that your mom just gave you unwavering support. And you tell this story. I was hoping you might tell about the principle. Call in home on you and your mom having to stick up for you know what he well, you know, I always had issues when they came to my hair. And what do you mean? I always wanted to wear my hair all type of ways and exotic and you know hi to the feeling and there's one particular time I had went to school with a foul. That was kind of high like Marge Simpson, You know that high of a style. And the principal was just not happy. When I walked in school. He was just very much not happy. He called my mom right away. He was fun family, and he, you know, cousin. And my mom went to the school and put him right in his place and said that the Children should be worried about their education and not worried about my child's here. So she told him just the two bit where to get off at, But she always defended me. No matter what. She was my queen. She was my rock. She was my biggest cheerleader. And when I told my mom at an early age that I knew that I was gay, she said that she already knew and that she loved me for who I am. So once I had the support of my mom Um, I didn't need approval from anybody else in the world. So my life really begin at that point off, starting to make my own decisions and feeling really finding out who I was and finding my truth. There. I don't need to tell you. There are parents who would not be a supportive right? Oh, yeah, Most definitely. I had friends who Mom was not supported. That wasn't having it that you know, they couldn't do the things that idea or they couldn't go to places I went or, you know they couldn't be themselves. You know, I don't with that growing up as well. A lot of my friends around me had issues at home that they were fighting. And they will come from me and my mom as the outlet. She was the cool, mama. She must be still with you, You know? She's my guarding an angel. She walks inside of me every day. She's in. She's still within me, and she helps to protect and make things happen for me. If you're just tuning in, my guess is Big Frieda. She's known as Queen of Bounce. Her memoir is out now in paperback. It's called God Save the Queen Diva. You've been talking a lot about bounce you've been talking about, you know, keeping going during some of these dark moments, and in the book, you talk about it particularly dark moment You get pretty candid about Hurricane Katrina. You were with your siblings when it struck. Your niece was with you. Who was just a little baby. Can you tell me a little bit about that story? You know, Katrina was really rough in life changing for all of us. You know, we had to be evacuated by boat. Um, you know, we have to cut a hole in the roof to try to get your rescues to even see us who kept flying over us and picking up neighbors, right? Um, next door to us. So we had some really trying times We slept on the bridge. We slept at the convention center for a few days. We went on a cargo plane and got dropped off at an army camp base. What? Then we slept. Yeah, there we slept at a warming campgrounds. Then we went to ST or then we went to the class Louisiana. Then we went. I went to Houston. Then I moved back to New Orleans. So my life was in a really Um, it was a roller coaster, and it was, um Roller coaster of emotions and moving and restructure in my life and finding out where I was going to live, you know, along with my family and I think often Katrina, though, because it gave people a chance to start their lives over, especially if your life was in shambles, or you needed a new start. But for me it also let me know that material. Things don't mean anything long as you could survive and have your life you can get through anything and all that other stuff can be brought again. But you can't buy your life again. And that was the most important for me with survival moments for me and my family to survive during those times, and a lot of times we take tragedies for for granted when we see things on on TV and on the news and on, you know, on the radio. But After experiencing country Noah. I took everything that I saw into account and I felt the pain of those people and what they went through and whatever catastrophic disaster death he had, But Katrina was definitely life changing for New Orleans. On. We're still recovering each day. I don't want to, in any way imply that it was good. I don't want to, in any way imply that it was Ah, anyway. Good thing. It was absolutely devastating thing that happened her Katrina, But like do you think That you'd be Where you are today if you hadn't survive something like that. Not at all. You know, even surviving it. You know, it also put The sound of bounce music even further because we were displaced all over the world, and people started to want to know what's that music? What type of music is that? Can you teach me the dances? You know we were. We were all over the world. They had a little New Orleans all over the world, And when those New Orleans people were displaced, they wanted to listen to their type of music. And it was New Orleans bounce so people in Houston and Atlanta and you know, everywhere we were man. What is that music, you know? Teach me that. Show me that. And I thought if the travel all over people started requesting me And when I got to the different clubs and in venues, it was like Michael Jackson or Prince had a ride because the people were screaming and holiday and like running up to me, like, Oh, my God, I can't believe you here, you know, but it was felt. Like a sense of home and I wanted to bring some joy into those people like that was going through some stuff and I was still trying to bring joy in my own life, so it felt good to go around and see people of New Orleans. And how they missed the culture and how they missed the music. So the music really started to spray it and got me even further. Are you cool with that? Are you cool? When when? When

"Musical and super campy. There's the Ryan Murphy Netflix adaptation of the short lived Broadway production of the Prom. The story of a bunch of down and out Broadway divas trying to drum up some publicity's for themselves by going to small town Indiana to fake concern over high school girls effort there to attend her prom with her girlfriend, despite the homophobia, P T, A and some closed minded students, aside from painting both sides of the story with very broad, stereotypical strokes. Do Artificial Sweeteners Cause Heart Disease?

"There i'm monica rhino. And you are. Listening to the nutrition diva podcast. Welcome this week. We're talking about the latest study to throw shade on artificial sweeteners. A study published last month in the journal of the american college of cardiology found. That soda drinkers have a higher risk of heart disease than those who do not drink sweetened beverages now the association between sugar consumption and heart disease risk is not new as a person's sugar intake increases so does their risk of cardiovascular disease and this association by the way is seen regardless of the age the body weight or the exercise habits of the person even among those with otherwise healthy diets. Lots of fruits and vegetables lean meat whole grains and that sort of thing heart disease risk increases with added sugar intake. The more surprising thing about this study however was that those who drank a lot of sweden soda had the same elevated risk as people who drank a lot of sugar sweetened soda. The risk of heart disease was about one third higher among those who were high consumers of either type of soda compared to low consumers that means if ten out of one hundred low consumers developed heart disease than thirteen out of one hundred high consumer would. So let's talk a little bit about how sugar can hurt your health. Those who consume more added. Sugars are more likely to be overweight. And that certainly contributes to heart disease risk. But even when you're not overweight a diet high in sugar can raise your triglycerides levels. That's the amount of fat that is circulating in your bloodstream. It may also lead to fatty deposits in the liver and these could be some of the mechanisms that would explain the link between sugar intake and heart disease risk but none of that explains how artificial sweeteners might increase cardiovascular risk. And that's the real mystery here. There's no obvious mechanism to explain how artificial sweeteners might hurt. Your heart and this is not the first mystery regarding zero calorie sweeteners. Despite being low in sugar and calories artificial sweetener us has been linked with increasing rates of diabetes and obesity. Now early on theories were proposed to try to explain this. Maybe we thought the sweet taste somehow tricks the body into responding as if it is actually sugar or perhaps artificial sweeteners. Increase our appetite or make us crave sugar research designed to test. Those theories has so far. Come up empty handed. Well not completely empty handed but as is so often. The case research in humans fails to bear out preliminary findings in lab rats. The best theory. We have at the moment to explain. This apparent paradox is that the artificial sweeteners might change the makeup of our gut. Microbiome in ways that promote weight gain or diabetes and unlike the other hypotheses there is some human research to support this and perhaps something similar is underlying this latest finding regarding heart disease. But i think the larger point here is that the data consistently contradict the notion that artificial sweeteners are somehow healthier or perhaps less unhealthy than sugar. Both are fine in moderation of course but high consumption of either one. Either sugar or artificial sweeteners is linked to poorer health outcomes. The keyword here of course is linked as the artificial sweetener industry would very much like to remind everyone correlation is not causation and most of the data that we have on this question our observational. They come from big epidemiological studies that look at dietary patterns and health outcomes over long stretches of time and that sort of steady cannot prove that artificial sweeteners cause any of those health problems but they do often seem to be nearby when these problems occur so should we quit drinking soda. Do we need to change what we're doing based on this latest research. I think that really depends on what you're doing if you occasionally have a diet soda. I don't think you have anything to worry about for that matter if you occasionally have a regular soda. I don't think that's cause for alarm either. But if you're drinking soda whether regular or diet on a daily basis that might be more of a concern aside from whatever affects the sugar or the artificial. Sweeteners are having on your body. Sweetened foods and beverages whether they're sweetened with sugar or with artificial sweeteners. Don't contribute much nutrition to your diet and they may easily crowd more nutritious foods out of your diet. The point is that reaching pry diet soda instead of a regular soda doesn't really constitute a nutritional upgrade if you really want a healthier alternative choose water or sparkling water and by the same token if you're looking for a healthier sweet treat a piece of fresh or dried fruit is going to be a choice than an artificially sweetened brownie or ice cream. My advice is to exercise the same degree of moderation with sweeteners. As you would with added sugars now as you recall the guidelines for added sugars are to limit them to about twenty five grams per day. And remember we don't count the naturally occurring sugars in fruit or dairy products towards that total. But we do include honey molasses maple syrup and other so-called natural sweeteners. So what does that translate to in terms of artificial sweeteners. The equivalent of twenty five grams per day in a non caloric sweetener would be about three packets or one diet soda per day

What's the Best Time to Eat Dessert?

"When is the best time to eat dessert. I've heard that it's better to eat it immediately. Following a meal because the protein and the meal will help stabilize the blood sugar. But i'm often too full after my meal to enjoy desert. I'd prefer to wait a couple of hours. In fact i often crave a sweet bite a couple of hours after eating his that. My blood sugar plummeting well. This is an interesting question. Let's start by taking a look at how eating dessert affects your blood sugar. Our blood sugar does go up after we eat and not just desert but this is not necessarily a problem in fact it's how the system is designed most of the carbohydrates we consume are broken down into glucose which is then absorbed into the bloodstream when blood sugar levels go up. It triggers the release of insulin from the pancreas which ushers the glucose out of the bloodstream and into the cells of the body. They're the glucose used as fuel or if no more fuel is needed it's stored for future use. It's also true that carbohydrates cause a faster rise in blood sugar when they're eaten by themselves but this is also not necessarily a problem if it's not a huge amount of carbohydrate then no matter how fast it's absorbed your blood. Sugar can only get so high and then assuming that your body is capable of producing insulin and your cells are reasonably responsive to its effects. Your blood sugar will gradually returned to normal regardless of how quickly or slowly it's absorbed however eating an excessive amount of sugar or carbohydrate can be a problem for one thing no matter how slowly it's taken up into your bloodstream. It all gets in there eventually. So if you are consuming more calories than you can use. The excess will be stored as fat. But what happens if your body is not able to efficiently. Clear that sugar from your blood into your cells because it's possible for the cells to become resistant to the effects of insulin. And when this happens. The sugar isn't cleared as effectively from the bloodstream. Only is it not available then as an energy source for yourselves but chronically high blood sugar can lead to a number of serious health issues. Insulin resistance is often the first step in developing type two diabetes. A lot of us. Worry that if we eat too much sugar too often it will lead us to develop insulin. Resistance or diabetes. But now we understand. It's more the other way around insulin. Resistance or poorly controlled diabetes results in chronically. High blood sugar. It turns out that eating a lot of sugar or eating foods that are rapidly converted into blood. Sugar are not the primary risk factors in the development of insulin resistance. The primary factors are excess body weight especially around the waist and a sedentary lifestyle. Now that doesn't mean that eating a lot of sugar have consequences if your body weight starts to drift up whether from over eating sweets or any other food that does increase your risk of insulin. Resistance in other words for those who do not have diabetes or insulin. Resistance the short term impact of desert on your blood. Anita wondered for example whether the fact that she starts to crave a sweet treat a couple of hours after eating might be assigned that her blood sugar is plummeting a couple of hours after a full meal. Your cells will still have plenty of energy from your last meal. It's more likely that once we're no longer full our minds simply return to the thought of that appealing desert. "Always notorious. The. Thing is I'm not quite sure whether you're joking. I am flipping joking. Don't. But you can imagine donald trump. Won He selfishly still got it. Well, the interesting thing is here if he is clear of it, he was lying about when he announced that he had it and he must already had it when the debate took place and that is utterly despicable of him to risk the infection like that. or he still got it now. I mean give me Julie prepares to be recovering well, but let's not forget that he's not over this yet there is still the possibility that might end up going back downhill again, not wishing now on him but I think he needs to be careful his age with his weight and all the things we've said previously that he he is promptly better before he gets back on the campaign trail and he needs this all it was sent to me by God. So. That I could show everybody that I was a leader I mean utterly sick making and I think anybody who has suffered with it or who has lost a family member in the states. I cannot believe that that is going to play well with them on. So you know it remains to be seen how this I think his poll numbers are not great. Are they it remains to be seen in the long run what this? What this does to his chances Now Nancy Pelosi. She she's put the cat among the pigeons this week by saying that Britain's Food and drug standards aren't as high as America's now. Somebody must be wrong here. Well, exactly either she's wrong or everyone in this country he's saying that their standards aren't as good as ours a wrong. Compost. Be Roy come they I love Nancy but I think she's ruled on this I suppose you could argue that they're different but. I think I would say the hours. I mean, they do have quite rigorous drug processes to go through but I think food standards are higher than there's I mean I'm just reckoning that don't actually no I I could talk to my youngest son who would know the answer to this but and certainly you know he's very clear on why chlorinated chicken is a bad thing and incidentally it's not largely because of the chlorine in the chicken. That's not very nice. But it's because you chlorinate chicken in order to cover up for very poor farming and and sort of caring. Regime. So that's the reason why it's about think well, why don't get on the chicken thing? Excuse me again. You'll coughing a lot on who. Knows me hiatus coming back and. A sort of go into a Mediterranean diet again. What I don't understand is everybody is objecting to American chicken yet when they go to America they probably rather enjoy the chicken that they've had. And yet no one complains about all the cheap chicken that comes in from Southeast Asia, which is very, very cheap and you say in all of these chicken shops in relatively poor areas of the country where you can sort of have as many chicken bits as you like for pound. And nobody says that that's a bad thing because they they they clearly passed some sort of standard. Now, I'll be seriously saying the American chicken wouldn't pass standard. It's not true to say that people lots of people I would be one of them would but but but in one way, I'm sort of able to do this because I can spend money on my food would want to pay have eat less me and pay more money for in order to make sure that it was both quality in terms of the way the animals were treated and quality in terms of the. Whether had. Additives another stuff in it. So. It's not true to say people don't care about that and..

I do want a I think revisit this episode just to kind of experienced it again because I only watched it when it air live in one, thousand nine and never since I feel like share had a really big presence in the nineties. Just like course around the late nineties at least I was in college in new? York. And I was Going around bars, you know underage, but still trying to get into bars. There's this one bar that I just like love to go to in the West village that was called Hell and it was like a mix of. Gay and straight. People. So it was kind of fun and they always always played believe. Song believes it. Is like. I mean that song was kind of a game. Changer? Because no one had done auto team in that way before and also like share hadn't had a mega mega hit in my mind a since probably turn back time, which is more like eighty, nine, ninety I have to check the date, but it had been a while. So when she came back with this and it sounded like nothing else on the radio, everybody's mind was kind of like what and then believe was a number one single world. "Hello and welcome to mix. Memory. I'm generous and I met. Heart. Spade. and. We're here to talk about ninety divas. I'm so excited we were thinking about doing something like this couple episodes ago, and now here it is the day has come. Yeah. Not Typically You know what we cover here, but we thought it'd be a fun episode. Yeah, I mean it was such an integral part of the nineties. that it of seems like we should kind of cover it and have a fun little kind of Pop centric episode but I guess before we get into all the great divas from the nineties and early. `oughts. Maybe. We should define diva because they feel like through the years the definition has changed, but it actually the original definition of diva end like the textbook dictionary. Definition is. At actually comes from the world of operate it's meant to kind of signify. This incredible woman's voice in whether it's in theater or cinema or pop music. And then for a while, it was very closely related to the term Premadonna, which had a very negative connotation but I feel like that all changed in the nineties once. The DIVA fandom in my view, it was like the beginning of stand culture. And like. In the beginning I feel like diva maybe didn't have too much of. Maybe it always had a negative connotation but. I don't know but using it kind of like it was a positive thing for a little bit Yeah I mean I guess ultimately, it was a just a a woman with some sort of extraordinary talent that was kind of breaking through in a major way. But I guess, I mean it kind of goes back to just the misogyny of. Not just American. Culture but worldwide culture. that. A powerful woman seen as like what's her problem? She a bit you know what I mean. Unfortunately. Has Gone Hand in hand. That's now you can almost exchange them today like, Oh, she's a diva she's a bench. Exactly, exactly. Yeah. But I feel like in. Kind of celebrated American music. Kind of the birth of the diva in my mind is kind of like the sixties and Seventies. When The Chart toppers were all these incredible black women such as Diana Ross and the supremes and without the supremes. Patti. Labelle read the Franklin Tina Turner so on. And to this day, I mean going back to the idea of Stan culture like I've seen. Actually I've seen quite a few of these women live and a lot of the fans in the front row are like these people that have that worshiped them like the Diana Ross stands that are like mostly older gay men and older black women that just like live for Diana, Ross? It's kind of more modern spin today withstanding I guess because yeah, there's just so much like ways you can. You know. There's so many mediums today I feel like that where you can kind of like. Show your affection because back in the daylight. Show their affection. Yeah, it was very different. I mean you didn't know every every move and every tweet and every a moment of an artist life..

It seemed like she was having trouble walking in the dress she chose. It was a a slim foot hole. Yeah thank you can't. She couldn't move her legs apart. Very much to walk. Actually Slim foot hole was inducted as an early use an old blues Guy Slim foot hole. Oh and then she did. Have that whole part where she was standing next to the podium. Which was bizarre. She was like flute and then there was a crazy flute solo and they didn't cut into his cut to her near the weird podium. Did Not show it. It was unfortunate. Got Back to the Mike Stand. She seemed more comfortable. He turned that beater. Yeah one hundred percent great song so the band job well and I have one. The show felt like it started. Well and each diva brought her own band which they had to change over during the commercial breaks is. Serandon was little. Yeah maybe that's what was happening. Noisy symbols were falling. Observe is that they were sound checking. Jennifer Aniston was giving. The definition of Diva Patricia. Arquette was predicting all the awards she would win some day. Then so then we get. Shinya comes out. Let's go girls. Let's go girls comes out hard Ramona. Joey of his sexual awakening one hundred percent. The fifteen year old inside of me was like Yep still the hottest woman I've ever seen I meet. She came out in pants and a midriff baring top looking good. She's really. She was peak nineties with the outfit. The hair rate big crimped hair well and there's a little trivia on that. That was like her nod to being a diva. She said I wanted to indulge in the diva moment. So I went for the big hair and I had a lot of fun with that. I wanted the hair bigger as big as it could get. She recalled it was a change to play with the diva moment. That I was in. I don't consider myself a diva as far as whatever people consider the classic diva but I was like yeah. I'm GonNa just indulge in this and have fun and have really big hair tonight and then the person who was producing it was like I did not want between. They did not want her. They did not think that she fit the bills. Diva she goes. And but who was? I think the producer he convinced the other producer to put her on the bill. He was like positive that she was going to be huge. And then by the time that divas actually started happening You're still the one. She's like the biggest most relevant pertinent. I am I am too long. Pause said mostly everything. I'm not thinking no I'm not interested. And why isn't Huey Lewis in studio looking up? Either top one fifty. I I mean Tommy. Don't you WanNa know absolutely well? We heard your daily advice on Valentine's Day. So how did you celebrate Valentine's Day so I got a package when I got home to my apartment of a beautiful bouquet of flowers? Every bad is holding their breath. You cannot say you got a package on Valentine's Day special okay. Every single posted that sets up. Additive is all fake. Bundle of how? `Bout you gotta give. Yes now anything I say is going away. You've got a special delivery package. Yeah and what was in that pack? Yeah it was so beautiful bouquet of flowers who sent me the flowers as I got them. The girl who delivered it was like. Oh we mess up your order. You're supposed to be getting a big thing of chocolate. Covered strawberries too. I was like okay. Well where are they like a more excited about the food and the flowers overstretch delicious? They are hours. Yeah I was like. What do you mean you mess up the package? And she's like well you know we have its downsides eight like it was a normal thing that was going to be okay so Mike Nine o'clock at night. When are you going to bring them later tonight or tomorrow morning? I said No. That's not gonNA work for me. I I need them right away to walk so the next day. It didn't get Chuck Cup strawberries so now I had to pull out my Jersey Card. I had to call up. The place calls a whole big thing about it but I got an extra dozen chocolate covered. Strawberries and I got a whole big box chocolate truffles on top of the other so I ate a lot of chocolate covered strawberries in a very small amount of time and a lot of chocolate. So whoever sent them to me probably doesn't even like me anymore because they're probably gained like five pounds. Well I think you still look beautiful number one and number two. I'm sure they still do like you. Were it was a nice? No okay wasn't from Tommy. I know everyone thinks he's super nice and romantic he sent me was from Dickie. Go Talk Tommy. Put some banana peels doors fall in love. Happy happy in can of Jif. Yeah Oh the it was all over my doors like handling and try to get in and people call the cops say this about the whole Otis and banned these stuff and I was very angry and I voiced that on social media on Friday but I will say this he was laid. The Guy can't be fashionably late. That's still jobs. Yeah so that's a badge. He in my opinion Otis failed on Friday on Valentine's Day. Would if how about this we have a twist? What if Dolph was there with the girl. She's always with at the same restaurant Sonia. And what if he likes it? Excuse me Sonia. I'm going to the restroom. And then he saw her there in Dobbs double dipping. Someone may have done that on his prom one year. That's a whole other real story. Yeah the real stories Ataba. Jaber cadence office would workout. But you know what I mean. The reactions that got was wide. Wwe sometimes does magical things because you heard an entire sold out arena of Vancouver. Just go no because they knew you. Despicable faster dolf. You have evil intention. I'm lost in your eyes. She didn't do anything wrong. Did something wrong? If I'm waiting for a date. That was all she did was say. Hello and another guy comes. He's not sitting down at the table. He sat down co-workers. Listen we'll pull up another chair in the three of us can sit there. He is wrong. She's right wrong yet. She let him sit down and the guy was pouring drinks not going over. Who was the one who she had to apologize for it? She felt so bad because he stepped on his AAC Dolphin. The first place. It's an open. Your Co Workers. They apologize okay. You're you'RE GONNA have to know you're GONNA have to watch on Friday or are you. Are you going to watch Friday no matter what because you're captivated with the story lines on working Saturday so either way I have to watch Friday? Wow too bad job by mandy badge off by. And she's not she's a rotten apple show. Otis go go back. Go back to the fruit store and find new. Okay so let's Turkey. He could do better Bazo. He's got his best. The best friend there are good though. He didn't give him really good advice. Either whole Turkey single to Burma. Watch for crying out loud. Maybe it would have been on time or giving him a ride given Mariah guy at a walk. You obviously did because everywhere yeah now. It's true our cell phone so you look it's employ tax mandy and say hey might be a little late uber and the flowers are pretty shitty to You know maybe you know. What do you buy them at the a pay? It's not about the expensive things it's about time spent together and he was. He obviously was to have enough time. Because and you're at a time. Gabby also how segment of diva divas. "A cage fighter. Everything about this is laid up perfectly for me to be the one that takes a your title at Wrestlemania so I'm going to shoot through every other competitor in that cage. You know better than anyone that I'm willing to do that if it makes you feel any better. I didn't plan to do that last week. I just did it but imagine the things that I do have planned becky. I'm going to tear the Living Shit. Wow strong words Tommy from Shane. Obeys s-h-i-t were dropped edgy on USA? But you're allowed to do that told you after nine o'clock after ten o'clock gets even worse but Yemen there She's coming after what you're GONNA do. It puts the champion at a disadvantage. It sets up the table for WRESTLEMAINIA and It it's good. I like it. I like it a lot. I think Shane obeys ler is a credible credible credible challenger to Becky Lynch which if Becky Lynch is your top woman which she is you want to put her at those disadvantages. Put Her at those where she looks vulnerable. And if she's either GONNA kick ass or get your ass kicked but she's going to keep on fighting because she's the man baby and the one thing that I liked and tweeted about it on Monday when I was watching the show. Tommy is the fact that I was a little nervous about what they were going to do to. Shayna baseler character and with her biting the neck. And then you know Becky saying she was becky. The vampire slayer is little nervous. But obviously I think she did a good job of tying up that and saying hey you know what I'm only I I didn't think about. I just did it and I kind of liked that little edge to Shane obeys are so I think moving forward. We're going to get the. Shane obeys that we were used to seeing on annexed. And that's an ass kicking woman and that will be one hell of a fight. Hopefully it happens at Wrestlemainia with Shane. Obeys are now being off couple things now. You Look at the Elimination Chamber match that set. I think looking at WHO's participating in that match. Shane obeys or you would have to say is probably going to be the winner. Oscars involved in that and they've been that road with Becky Oscar. Many many times. The tally is been is a part of that match. And the live Morgan and Ruby Riot. And there's obviously a story there and then Sour Logan the only one. I could really see winning the Elimination Chamber match and going to Wrestlemainia to challenge. Becky would be obeys ler now. It is early to build that matchup and they've already showed you a lot. Do you think it's going to be Shayna baseler ambulance or do you think that somebody else might become a part of this as we get closer to Tampa. No I think if we're looking at the women's division we have Charlotte Ria and Bianca doing a three way for the title. And for Becky I think becky if if this was my company booking it phenomenal job becky versus Shayna and you can bring out the four horsewoman you could bring out. Rhonda maybe even goes on Becky side. If you're bringing casino always had Her Goon squad with her. So there's a lot more places you can go with that and I think for the money as well for fans to see that matchup is I I'm interested in that matchup. I think it's very very good. Mike what you're hearing catch busted open live Monday through Saturday from nine. Am To noon eastern on Sirius XM FIGHT NATION CHINA. One fifty six or on-demand with the series. Xm APP. All my God. Oh my God. Did you hear the crying of the people that was? I can't even get into that yet. We gotta talk misses first but someone that was on Ms. Mrs Was Actually Dolph that bastard. I'll talk about it now. So He's good friends with the MS whatever so the overall theme of Mrs last week was the big gender reveal baby number two from a number two businesses and Mike really really was pissed that he was not told the gender he was trying the whole week to get it out of the envelope that her sister was holding onto she was the keeper of the gender. She knew and she was the only one. Maurice didn't WanNa know Mike Mike to know so. He was trying the whole week to like get the envelope and like secretly get it open and like when they had the list so they have a little shooting. Confetti things that come out either pink or blue or voyeur girl. He stole them him and Dolph because DOLPHINS BASTARD TO HEAL. Yeah took took him with him and he said listen. We're GONNA WE'RE GONNA. We're going to sneak it and do it released. Yes so they popped it open and out came yellow confetti and it said you're Boston. I knew you were going to do this. But what's he also actually did the Confetti on the wrong side so it went right into his Um cooling area where he's the babies were made that section of himself like shot out like shot out of a cannon hit him right in the gut but so I asked you guys as the men. Do you feel like you should know the gender before everybody else when you're the father and it's happening because I know gender reveal parties are very big deal. People take them very seriously. How do you feel about the knowing not knowing of the genders With my daughter we knew beforehand because I wanted to prepare. I wanted to make sure that you know close in the room and all that was done before we had my abigail so I I wanted to know. The last thing I wanted to do is have agenda. Reveal Party For me I I had. I knew I was having twins. I did not care and I don't care about gender reveal parties and also for science babies are not made from. The man's abdomen knows it from there from the Little Ms. It wasn't a little miss. An kids are here. But I'm just saying You said the abdomen hit in the Gut asser because he he would hit them wherever the babies I know you first and then I said the guy. Thank you cleaning out of time. And what's there? They have girl right. Yes they have a daughter Annie. Monroe MONROE DOT EU. What set you up. Girls Daughters all respect for your series exit. What is the point of the gender reveal party exactly? It's just a reason to have a party people about what you're gonNA get free stuff from people at the baby showers reasons to work to work extra. S- another reason to literally have a party. I think it's something else I think social media I think people want to put it out on twitter and instagram. And try to get likes from it. I think what they do to reveal the these abstract insane events where they the one that I saw where they crack the egg over each other's head and they're all hardboiled egg except one and one has the color in like the yolk or no. It's in a blue egg carton or a pink carton. They're all hard boiled eggs but the one that's not hard boiled out of whatever car in is the gender of the baby smash them over each other's head. I actually like the way that rebbe and Matt did it. On on impact wrestling with the whole with the smoke and Matt didn't know and they revealed the gender of the baby with the smoke like after the final deletion. I thought that was really cool. Yeah I do yeah I like I like when it's a baseball and the guy and the guy has to hit the baseball when he hits a baseball it's supposed to explode in. That's the core of the baby but somebody gets hit with it. And so those are those are funny. If you've ever watched the fails like the Gender Party fails on the Internet. You'll be ours because people that can't swing or they can't open it or like the kids. Let go of the balloons before you got to open the thing so you don't know what color the balloons are in the box and stuff. It's really funny or when the guy finds out it's actually somebody else's baby that's always a good one too. Yeah I mean fad but anyway so also the mid says he wanted a boy very very badly because the daughter and they said if it was a boy they would have been done. But if it's a girl.

"We talked about constants woo last week. Or maybe it was the beginning of this week. I don't remember but constant do is a diva and it's becoming a parent. It really is. Like I'm saying concentrate diva I don't know. She definitely is. But what we're hearing makes me really think that she had a so okay? Maybe we like I love crazy rotations the movie and. I'm kind of looking at her a little differently now. Oh, one hundred percent because we there's obviously the whole tweets and being upset that her show was renewed. So now, now I feel like outlets are kind of running away with that story. And so obviously, we're gonna get stories like this now how, you know, how accurate it is? I don't know. But it's seems like could be possible. So page six wrote a whole story with the headline hated Constance Wu is an even bigger diva than Jennifer Lopez. They are filming Hustler's which is Jlo's new movie, Cardi B's in it. Constants Wu's in it. And. They were told by an insider from the set of Hustler's that, while the actresses get along well behind the scenes, who is a way bigger diva than her more famous co stars J, lo and Cardi. Woo is a quote pain in the fucking ass. She just won't agree to do anything she refuses to do interviews. She won't have visitors on her sets. It's like a cliche. She's very talented, but all signs are pointing to a difficult diva. A third insider who worked with woo added. She's a total piece of work. She thinks it's okay to treat people badly and say out loud ever comes to her. She's the new Katherine Heigl, and if she's not careful her movie, career will go in the same direction downhill, see hearing, these things about constants. Woo Hoo originally, I would be like I'm dying to interview her. It makes me not want to be near her at all. Honestly. She sounds like she is a real she's just with line diva. And when you're being told that you are more of a diva than Jennifer Lopez who. You know who we love who we absolutely loved one percent eve, yes, she is a diva. And but like Jennifer Lopez. Of like beyond site earned. Diva status, correct. Jennifer Lopez earned Davis. You need to earn your diva status. Cardi B, earning her diva status is in the way of earning. Her diva status Constance Wu has not even begin as garage the source. No. Like she is. She is on the bottom. Try to crawl up to get to the diva surface, she's not there. So she should not be treating people with disrespect and when it goes back to the whole ABC show, and she, you know, she wasn't happy..
