Psaki Slammed Over Reasoning for Why Migrants Don't Need Vaccine Proof but Travelers Do
"Beach. That's where biden spent the weekend riding around on his bike refusing to answer questions. I'll bet he's refusing to answer questions. He's got a press secretary who evidently thanks to these thousands of illegals who are camped. Out under the bridge in del. Rio texas are just here to like vacation. They don't want to stay here. Did you hear this exchange with the circle. Back pataki and a peter doocy all this is this is a doozy from ducie and check it out. What's going on the border. It's somebody asking the foreign nationals. Who are locked in del. Rio texas and setting out on this side of the border for proof of vaccination for a native kuban test. Well first of all. I can re re re address for you or re re tuck you through what steps we take you for people who fly into the country so if somebody walks into the country right across the river somebody asked them to see their vaccination. Well let me explain to you again. Peter howard process works as individuals as individuals come across the border and they are both assessed for whether they have a any symptoms if they have symptoms they are the intention is for them to be quarantined. That is our process. They're not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time. I don't think it's the same thing it's not the same thing. These are individuals as we've noted and has been discussed we're expelling individuals based on title forty two specifically because of covet because we want to prevent a scenario where large numbers of people are gathering posing a threat to the community and also to the migrants themselves so those are the policies that we put in place in large part because again the cdc continues to recommend title forty to be in place given face global pandemic. I mean are you kidding as individuals. They're not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time. I don't think it's the same thing. What does she think these illegals from haiti wanna do go to disneyworld and then go back to haiti the circle back think they just want to go visit times square. Check out the statue liberty and then go home. I don't think they're intending to stay there. They are not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time. Aren't they intending to move here. She keen asylum. Wow
Israel, 80% Vaccinated, Suffers Another Covid-19 Surge
"We have a crisis. Cova i went to disneyworld over the weekend and watch thousands of smiling. Happy people no more masks mandate at disney in outs- outdoor areas of the park. You gotta wear a mask if you go inside. I mean people are struggling with how we gonna move forward knowing what we know. Israel eighty percent vaccine vaccinate. I had a conversation this morning before my day started in the hallways here at the radio station in tampa bay and one of the people. I was talking to broke out in laughter. We don't mean to laugh at this. There's nothing funny about it. But when you hear about israel something powerful emerges israel has an eighty percent vaccination rate over eighty percent of the population of israel is vaccinated. And yet they are struggling mightily. Here's from newsweek. Coverted case data from israel suggests that vaccination alone is not enough to completely halt. The pandemic experts have told newsweek scientists around the world have been closely monitoring israel. Israel currently has one of the worst. I mean again. i don't mean to laugh either. But if israel's eighty percent vaccinated and they have one of the worst rates of kobe cases per million people in the world. Evidently the vaccines aren't doing what the vaccines are supposed to do. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the vaccines are not the magic bullet. We were promised
Dallas Mavericks Sign Free Agent Frank Ntilikina
"The mass have a whole new front office in a whole new coaching staff. With jason kidd coming in. So i think there will be at least some sort of honeymoon. I don't know exactly. How long is all these new key. Figures get used to each other. But you're you're absolutely right. I mean dallas had big ambitions in free agency. They wanted to get kyle lowry. They thought lowry would be an ideal fit next deluca given his defense leadership being an old head the way and still shoot it lowry. They thought was ideal. Lowery went to miami forced his way there in a sign and trade and dallas's moves have also been just of the around the edges variety bringing in reggie bullock. I reported this week that they're close to signing frank ntilikina. That should happen but the mavs have not been able to make the splashy move and really. They're splashing move is going to have to be. Can they get kristaps porzingis. Back to the level he was playing at in the walt disneyworld bubble before he he sustained the second major knee injury of his
Exploring the Disney Springs Resort Area: Should You Stay Here?
"We're going to be talking. All about the disney springs resort area. Disney springs resort area. One of four. What i call it the disneyworld neighborhoods. I like to talk about them that way. There's the magic kingdom neighborhood the best one and if you are longtime listener you may remember back in episode eleven quite a while ago we talked about the magic kingdom resort area. So if you want to listen to that and you haven't heard it head on back to episode eleven and then of course there's the epcot resort area and the animal kingdom resort area but today we are focusing on the disney springs resort area. Which is pretty underrated. I think it's i think. It's the most underrated resort area of all because it does not have theme parks associated with it so people just overlook it well. What if you don't like the theme parks or what if you don't know what's actually around there so that's what we're going to talk about today. It's sort of exploring. The disney springs resort area one of our favorite neighborhoods. I think it's grown on us over time. Wouldn't you say that. Oh yeah definitely because you start discovering more and more things you can do. That are not necessarily park related which i mean now with the parks being super weird. That might be a good thing for you to go and try and first. Let's talk about accommodations to start with. Because there are two deluxe disney resort villas properties rate at disney springs. One of them is disney's saratoga springs resort and spa which is quite a nice spa. And the other is disney's old key west resort. Both of these are kind of similar in a sense similar in a sense we prefer saratoga springs personally. Because you know why. I forget why i just know i do. Because it's walkup if you stay in college park it's walkable to disney springs so both of these resorts that's not a plus for me are located on or around lake point of vista. Which is the body of water at disney springs. In case you did not know that also the main street name most of the streets so very popular very popular name buena vista and not is lake boina vista and in this area. You can choose to stay if you wanna stay in. Disney deluxe resort or disney resort. You have to deluxe villas choices and villas are great. Because if you haven't stayed in one we've talked about those a lot. You get kitchens. Basically and laundry and kitchen. That's depending on the size. Both of these resorts are sort of set up like little communities like little subdivisions almost. They're not really hotel. Like in the way that you'd think of other hotels
Labor Day Could Exacerbate COVID Surge With Millions Still Unvaccinated, Experts Warn
"And on this labor day health officials are concerned that the millions of americans travelling and gathering in crowds to mark the unofficial of summer could cause another kovic search. Just as a new school year begins more on that now from guatemala negus tonight. Millions of americans are flocking to vacation hot spots this holiday weekend. Despite a cdc warning the unvaccinated should stay close to home. People aren't vaccinated. They travel the tsa reporting five point. Three million passengers crossing airport security since friday. More than double the number seen at this point during labor day weekend last year. I'm going to disneyworld. Cova numbers in florida scare me. But i'm vaccinated many making their way to stadiums music festivals and beaches across the country yet. The spread of the virus rages on the number of reported cases reaching forty million in the us. Now health experts fear. The holiday weekend could be another super spreader. Justice kids are returning to the classroom. He should especially be cautious about travel if you have children in school or starting school soon because most cases and transmission are likely to happen during travel and those could be cases you carry into the classroom with covert already forcing at least fourteen hundred in-person school closures. Since the beginning of this school year recent data from the american academy of pediatrics indicates more than one in five new cases are in children.
Is It Possible to Make a Profit With Campground Investing
"Had their welcome to the show. Thank you so much for joining us today. Thank you. I appreciate you. Having me to get started. Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started in real estate investing absolutely so ten years ago i was driving across the country in a camper from florida. California saying in all these different campgrounds house like hey it's just renting parking spots. It's not just writing parking spots. However i started google searching campgrounds for sale campgrounds in my area trying to figure out. Hey is this something i could do. And i found one that was in bankruptcy. I called the bank long story short and bought a campground before. I got california so by the time i was leaving. California to head back to tennessee. I'd bought property. I'd never seen in. I knew nothing about real estate or investing at all ten years later owned about three hundred units and have rv parks mobile home parks and section. Eight multifamily okay. That is insane so you didn't have any real estate background at all and you just jump for it and buyer campground. Yes they might be mildly. Impulsive okay. i want to start with that. So how did you even analyze the deal. How did you find it. What did that look like before we answer that question. I guess had you had any real estate investing experience before that i was at the very first for rain real estate. Investing you'd ever done literally there. I didn't even know an rv. Park was real estate or didn't know what the word analyzed meant. It just seemed like a good idea. Okay so yeah. It's tell us from the beginning. So you decide you want to do this. How did you find the power. Cobb did you finance it. What did that. I deal look like yet so i started google searching. Rv parks for sale campgrounds for sale in my area and i found this property that was next to dollywood which is our version at disneyworld. Only we have dolly parton instead of mickey mouse in tennessee which was an hour from where i lived in our tourist towns. I thought how could it go wrong. I mean how could something next to the number one attraction in the area not dwell call the bank and they want three point two million dollars in they. They're like how much money do you have. A twenty six years old Have any money. This was a different time in the market it was after the market had collapsed so it was two thousand eleven so they still had banks that still had properties on their books. Were willing to get rid of them. In a different way than you can buy properties now. So they gave me a non recourse loan in for anybody. That doesn't know what that means would be similar if you bought a house and you didn't pay your mortgage in the bank was going to take that back you file bankruptcy or whatever the repercussions were non-recourse. Means you're going to have any of those repercussions and no money down which you don't hear of now. It was nothing but a huge blessing. And in sam's els book who's one of the largest owners of in the mobile home park in rb park space. He talks about his first deal and he says i was successful. Because i didn't know i shouldn't have
AJ Wolfe: Why I Started a Disney Food Blog
"My name is aj wolf. And i run a media. Company one of our websites and youtube channels and everything is associated with disney food blog. Okay when and how did you get into this. Two thousand nine is when this particular site started. We have a few other sites in our company. We started those a little bit earlier. She thousand nine was the beginning of dfb and it was mostly because back. Then people weren't really talking about food at disneyworld in disney parks. They were real focused on rides. They were real focused on. You know all of the rest of it but there was almost kind of a stigma about talking about food. People didn't want to be known as as folks you really cared that much about their theme park food. But i kind of wanted this site to exist in. There was another site called. Wd w foods where this couple would just go to disneyworld a couple times a year and put up pictures of their food. And i thought this is great. And i kept refreshing. That page hoping that they'd go back to disneyworld than so you're all i want this to exist. Then there must be other people who wanted to exist and so i started the site for that purpose. There are lots of people who wanted it to exist and we can see by bass following. So what do you think. It is about disney food. And who's actually following people who go to disney people who fantasize about going to disney. So i think it's a little bit of everything and yeah. People are super interested in food at their theme parks for multiple reasons. I is that you're going to spend a ton of money on it and at disneyworld specifically you have to book your restaurants really far in advance especially those really expensive really popular restaurants. It used to be six months in advance right now. It's sitting at two months in advance. But you figure you're gonna probably spend more money on food than your per ticket than potentially even your hotel and so this could be the most expensive part of your trip. Why would you not want. You wouldn't just arrive at disneyworld randomly. Choose a hotel like you're gonna research you're gonna figure out what hotel make sense for usa. Why wouldn't you do the same with food. And i think that the people who are following people who are big disney fans and love disney and are going to disney all the time and also people who are brand new to disney and just have no idea what to expect. And i hope they're following because it really can completely change your trip if you have planned out where to spend your money on food especially if you have allergies in your family or picky eaters or you're going to be in certain places. At certain

"Is not magic kingdom. Please take this takes us to someone who is a baptist minister with all of the glory. I may be a moderate baptist minister. However i want you to take this fall to earth. There's something it's really hard to acquire it magic kingdom for adults the you can find everywhere. University orlando. it's called adult beverages and many people are smart enough to know that they can walk back to the hard rock hotel and not have a problem is they perhaps had two beverages. You know perhaps two or three. I'm i'm just saying i'm not making a judgment here. Don't take that the wrong way. I'm happy to make judgments in other settings but if you know you're gonna walk back to your hotel and you're not leaving the resort you've been is responsible as you can be but yet that would not be the same phenomenon. That's why use the magic kingdom analogy is if universal is i know we're digressing from the. It's like the horror the horror makeup show which is one of their original attractions. One of the standard lines from the script of the horror makeup show which is kind of a comedy show. If you're familiar with it. Is that they modified through the years. We're not disney. We don't have to be nice to the children. And then the in the current script the other actor will say. We have harry potter. Now don't say that anymore. Okay but universal decided a long time ago that they were going to target teenagers and adults. And if you're gonna target adults that does mean adult beverages and so you should factor that in because the dull beverages will cost you less than they do a disney property. And you'll probably drink more of them than you think you will. And they serve some pretty awesome. Drinks spoken spoken to someone. Who's a non drinker. I know when. I go with people. You just can't understand john. I'm like i know you just you just happily spent such such money on this bubba bit endless summer this gigantic thing for thirty dollars in. It's all the beverages you're going to need for the rest of your life and nice or you know and till you go back to your room. Well the rest of your stay. Let's put it that way. But the big difference before i get fried aside in this whole list because i you guys didn't hardly beginning of mine. is universal is much cheaper than going to disneyworld. That's not arguable. Let's be fair. Universal has two parks. While disneyworld has four and universal's parks are even smaller than disneyworld park so bud if you wanted to buy a season to call a season patou.
Disney World, Disneyland to Mandate Masks Indoors

That changes as of tomorrow, with covid cases rising here in California and in Florida. Disney, which is a parent company of ABC News, is returning to mandated masks for all guests vaccinated or not over two years old and cast members of Disneyland and Disneyworld masks will be required only indoors and in attractions plus on buses and the monorail. It comes as a C D. C recommends masking indoors
How Offering Customers Entry Level Products Can Help Your Business
"Entry level products have been around for a very very long time. I'd invent this and it's not a new trend but it's tried and true it works. It works enlarge businesses. Small businesses works for consumer products and beat ib products. Then you've probably have been a customer of this model of buying an entry level product and then moving to the flagship product. If you've ever been to any of disney's theme parks you may not know it. But you've probably been through this. A typical theme park customer will buy a theme park ticket. When they go to disneyworld or disneyland or your disneyland wherever you are this is kind of the basic. This is like we're you star then. Great time in their family can't stop talking about that time they went to disney. They're gonna want to go back but this time they wanna have a bigger better experience. This is why disney offers so many tears to the products so often the knicks time around the family will say hey. Let's stay at disney. Let's go to one of the disney hotel stay one of the resorts and get a package. Deal this disney is their flagship product. Where people actually hand over disney their wallets and say take care of me. Give me the vacation of my dreams. They know that a lot of people won't start. They way. they know that they start with. Hey i want to get thrifty images by the tickets. Go to say the days in. And i will you my way with my car to each the parks or the park every day and i know. Have all the perks of going to the park early. And all that kind of stuff but Hey i want to go to disney. And i'm going to give it a try. That's the first time around the second time around. They're going to go for the full experience and this is where they make their money. Why because when they live on the property when they're staying at one of the resorts one of the reasons why people do this because it's quote unquote convenient. They get free bus transport to the resorts they get to go to special themed dinners. They get to go to the park early and leave late. The muslim author staying at disney. Let me is all the little purchases that they're making and disney the customers buying it from a disney property whether the bottle of water up banana or souvenirs. This is why disney wants you to get the tat level and they know an entry level product like just. Admission is going to work. but isn't that just. is you. Walk down the road in your neighborhood and you go to your local masseuse or massage store. I guess it's called massage parlor is like old fashioned or something but the point is is that they have entry level products. Thirty minute foot roof. Xolicy it's the cheapest product on the menu but it gets you in the door it gets you to feel relaxed and feel the ambiance of the place Even give you a nice cup of tea. And you'll wanna relive that experience but the next time around you'll be like you know what. Let me go for that. Full body
Arm Yourself With Strategies From 'American Marxism' Now or Else
"We can't play around anymore. We can't pretend we're actually doing something, but we're not doing anything. That's my concern. And look Either we will build this national movement. What we want. Either. They're better at it than we are or they're not. That's the bottom line. Now this this is not an esoteric discussion. This is not theoretical. It's not an abstraction. It's here. It's here. You've seen it in the classrooms with the kids. But that's not the only place it's in the workplace. He can't even go to Disneyland or Disneyworld without Without seeing what's taking place. You can't even watch TV anymore. Even the history channel or a and E or or discovery without Propaganda pouring into your house, the television It's It's predicted, can't even watch sporting events. Without these, then within athletes, Not all but too damn many of them. Regurgitating this stuff. And they're broadcasters for the most part. So unless we Arm ourselves with knowledge. Unless we arm ourselves with strategies and tactics. Unless we understand what we're up against. We will
Disney Vacation Firsts, plus the Disney World Lightning Pass
"We're gonna take your first things to do when you arrive. At walt disney world disney vacation. I got this idea because someone recently said to me well. What's the first thing you should do when you get there. This is not only on your first visit. These are things that i have planned out to do every time i go right. So let's take it that way. And here's how. I thought we'd start first of all since we're doing disney firsts. And we've had this discussion with a family member recently actually. When is the first time you should take a child now. Of course you can go anytime. I mean there's plenty of newborns encarta around parts i say don't let your child slow you down if you wanna go. I'm just saying if you're thinking about the child. Yes the first time that they would really like understand. Kind of what's happening is just past the to get it. Maybe start to remembered a little bit. Exactly that's what we've found with you so when people ask that question although if you're only going to go once or twice maybe wait a bit more so they will remember it. Yeah here's what we found with amelia at age just over two. She was any younger than that. They may or may not know what's going on. Some kids are actually scared of the characters. I mean they're not necessarily going to be like. Oh look mummy at disneyworld. I fully understand everything now. But at age to you know you're walking and you in particular were completely loving the characters the princesses you interacted with them. You know you get lots of good pictures and videos and all that sorta stuff. I'm not saying i'm brilliant. But so if you're asking the ideal time for a first visit in terms of the child being able to actually have fun. Yeah i'd say anytime past the age of two. Now if you're saying when will remember that peak asian i think for you was around four. Yeah so you get like flashes of it when you re you can't form never remember it through
S6 E11 - This is what it's like living with someone with PTSD. . . - Full Episode
"All right you ready. I actually hit record this time here. We go so in the most recent episode of the podcast season six episode ten. I sat down with my wife patricia. I talked to her about the challenges. She has faced in dealing with multiple mental health diagnoses over the years and right after we published that episode. We received an excellent recommendation from a listener. Asking us to tackle the topic of what it's like living with someone with ptsd. And i think patricia. And i are uniquely suited to tackle this since both of us. Have this diagnosis in in. Its for completely different reasons. This episode is going to be an unfiltered. Look at what. It's like to live with someone with post traumatic stress disorder and by way of introduction. This is the we served now. What podcast where. I do my best to answer the questions. Veterans and their families are already asking so you can make your post military life. Your best life money erin perkins. I'm a. us army combat veteran daddy to two amazing kiddos host of this podcast. If you hadn't guessed. And i am joined today again by my beautiful bride patricia. Welcome back to the show thank you. I'm so glad to be here. Well good good so it's been a couple weeks right and last time we talked about the treatments. You're getting and things like that for depression. Talk to us a little bit before. We're gonna dive into the. Ptsd topic talked us a little bit. About how those are going those are going. I'm not going to be very honest. they're painful. I think Winning expecting almost a miracle. I mean you you let somebody shock your head for twenty minutes a day. You expect something but it's actually made my depression a little worse. They said that's normal. It can get worse before it gets better. So actually they're going to re map tomorrow and see if there's a different place. They need to put the magnet. But i think it's gonna go all right. Yeah we hope we hope and pray as well trained for this for that. This works in putting you through a lot of distress but like you said pain to try to to address the depression right. And so that's that's just one part of what can be a result of ptsd another city but the actually brit really brings up our our first thing to talk about is. Let's talk about ptsd a little bit. What it is. And how. I understand it. How do you understand. ptsd how. I understand it is. I mean we all know it stands for post traumatic stress disorder and that can be from your childhood from your teen years from adulthood. Something you went through something. You saw something you experienced. That was just traumatic for you. And i know that it can you know make you. Have you know nightmares it. Can you know how you can have memories of that trauma and then you avoid situations that you know make you think of that trauma and you know a lot of even soldiers you know. They get like hyper vigilant. You know because of how it makes them feel and it can call anxiety and depression as well. I think the hyper vigilance was one of the i. I realize that i that something was wrong right. I knew i had a lot of anger in. I was like i don't know why angry like i'm i'm not in the army anymore. I thought you the anger was just part of just being in the army. You're just mad something every day. And so i thought that it would go away and it didn't in fact he got worse and it. Was that hyper vigilance piece. I always felt. I still do. But i always felt ready. This constant state of readiness hyper vigilant. That's one of the behavioral parts because there's behavioral parts psychological mood in general sleep. And then you know it you can break them all down like you know behavioral is like you know you feel agitated or irritable or hof style or hyper vigilant like you were saying or you know you start doing self destructive things like you know. Drugs are becoming an alcoholic or or if he just completely isolate yourself. That's me raise my hand right there myself psychological as you know flashbacks which i don't have those fear that comes from nowhere severe anxiety failure to trust other people. Because you don't know what's going to happen the mood part of it. You know you lose interest or pleasure in doing stuff that you used to enjoy doing right or you feel like the severe guilt or you are incredibly lonely like you have tons of people around you. You have a family that loves you but you are so lonely and it messes with your sleep. It can cause you to sleep too much. Not enough to have horrific nightmares and a lot of people have detachment from other people and like intrusive thoughts that they just can't get rid of you know that you know. They go through their day and i guess to some other people they might look like legitimate list crazy but they just have these constant like thoughts and some people have to talk it out. You know there's so many parts to ptsd. yeah. I think that's one of the challenges with even realizing that you might have it right because there's so many parts to it. Depression anxiety intrusive thoughts avoiding situations. Not sleeping sleeping too much having horrific nightmares having too much emotion having no emotion at all. There's so many things and so what i was told. People especially veterans is if if something feels off. Don't try to figure out if you have. Ptsd anxiety or depression go to mental health right and talk to the professional about it and let them figure out whether you use the va or you go out to out to in the civilian sector. You go get it checked out. Because there's there's nothing that's not going to hurt you to go get it checked out right and that was a question that i was going to ask you. Is you know like when did you realize you had ptsd. I think it was what year wise was twenty seventeen. I got out and twenty. Fourteen of twenty seventeen anger progressively got worse. The hyper vigilance. And what. I say hyper vigilance. I i don't mean just like you know on edge all the time and i guess that was part of it but for me it was this feeling like i'm about to go into a fight like just ready like i mean you know kind of like almost kind of like a sprinter would be at the starting line. Okay here we go all right. I'm ready. i'm ready and it was like that all the time. That sounds exhausting. It is it really really is it took i say i want to say it took a long time to get past that but truth is i'm up past that no the pd. Has these not a broken limb. You know you can't cast on it and wait six weeks and go back and get the cast off and you're good to go. No i mean people can't get past it it's it. There are stories of people who you know they had. Ptsd and to you know after a few months few years depending on situation you can't get past. It depends on the person. I think it's post traumatic growth right where you know after your trauma you become a stronger person. A bigger percent better person. I don't know if i would. I would say that people ever get over their trauma. They just they build one right in that instead of letting the letting it crush them they use it to to fuel becoming a better person in the end and the thing is it's not always a choice. I don't think this is my opinion right. I don't think it's always a choice whether you get to say like oh. I'm past the worst part of my ptsd. And i'm only headed for post traumatic growth now. I don't even think i've heard that term post traumatic growth. So i don't know. If i would be i don't know if my opinion i mean i hope that's a real thing Veteran futterman talk to me. One time so you're doing it basically you're doing to post traumatic growth thing like you like you know you start a company like you've got a great career you've got a great family you know you've got a beautiful home cars dog you've got all this stuff going for you you're doing life right you're in your a great church like you're doing all these things right and hosting this podcast you're getting so much stuff done okay and i'm like okay cool why don't it feel better yeah really i'm like okay. We'll see if this post traumatic growth. I number one. i'm happy i'm growing. I'm happy growing getting better. getting smarter. Faster stronger whatever it is. I'm happy about that part but like it is this like is post traumatic growth a destination or is it just this constantly journey. Yeah i think it's a journey in. It reminds me of what we heard in church on sunday about walking wounded. And that's what that means is like. Es your wounded mentally sometimes physically but you know ptsd is a mental disorder and your your wounded mentally but you continue to walk. Wounded is when you stop that. There's no growth And so the post traumatic growth is continuing to walk. Even though you're wounded i love. Obviously you we're in the same service. Same church service right and we were both talking about how great it was so we can ask each other. This question okay. What's it like living with me especially within. What's it like living with me. Especially when i'm experiencing some sort of triggering episode so you mentioned 2017 when you first realized that you had p. Tst then it was. You're angry and you know we tried to give you a little bit of space and like you know. Let you breathe calm down. But i think i think you have grown because now you take that space for yourself. You're like i'm going to go run or i'm going to take the dog and we're going to go hike for a few hours. I think that you know living with you. I've able to watch you grow. And and learn how coping mechanisms coping skills. And i think with. Ptsd you have to learn. Those people might not always understand them like. I'm not hiking ninety degree weather with a dog. It's not happening but three you that works that would trigger trigger something not. Ptsd that would trigger anger. It has nothing to do with. Ptsd you you. You've joined small groups that you guys run and you know for exercise in general for you just really helps you a lot of that. Is you know twenty seventeen. We had just moved to alabama and things weren't going the way we wanted them to and life was just really stressful right. And you hadn't even been diagnosed yet. sure sure. So you've you've grown okay. So i don't even ask this question. What do you like living with me. It's amazing it's amazing. I love it. Let next question experiencing some sort of triggering episode. Well i've told you this before but as a man as a husband i feel. It's my duty my job to keep you happy. You know and so a lot of times i think. Ptsd manifests itself in your life as overwhelming depression and crippling anxiety right. And there's not a single thing i can do about it so for me. It's not that living with you is better or worse. Y you know with a triggering episode. It's that my hands are tied right. And so i think it's super frustrating. Because i'm like. I see a problem my wife is in. It's not just unhappy. You know it's like she. Has this a legitimate mental diagnosis. A mental condition that. I can't do anything to fix Frankly doctors can't do anything to fix every single part of that right and that conversation we've had many times because you're like i just want to fix it and i'm like doctors i have and they can't fix it. Release yourself up that burden. You can't fix it and that is so tough as a man who says you know what i'm here to lead my family my wife and my kids and you know kind of you know take charge and we're going to go tackle life together and that is so appreciated but sometimes you just got. It's true it's true like it's nothing you can do. Well that's not true. Okay that's not true space. Give me space. You know like like you did tonight. I had that treatment today and it made me sick today. I was actually really upset stomach today. And i'm just chilling in the bedroom lennon bed phone and you just made dinner that i did that helped i did. I logged off my computer at work and went and made dinner. It was amazing. I don't know if the dinner was amazing. But it's good good good so coming up after the break tricia and i are going to ask each other one more question. We're going to ask this question. Is there anything good about living with someone who has. Ptsd and we're gonna share several takeaways with you. Stay with us. Many americans today don't realize the stress and anxiety they feel is most likely because of their finances according to bankrate.com more than six out of ten people couldn't cover a one thousand dollar emergency seven out of ten. Don't budget regularly. An eight out of ten are living paycheck to paycheck to these describe you. Are you ready to live like others. Can't too many make the mistake of budgeting their lifestyle instead of budgeting their basic needs. I my friend. Marco over at mc business lab has a simple process to automate the basic things. You need to live and then never looking at one of those bills again. Head over to live like can't dot com to get on the wait list for his own line course to learn this automation skill that will significantly reduce your stress anxiety. And if you think one on one attention could be the way for you. You can also schedule your free consultation with marco once again that's live like others can't dot com get on the path to your dream life today all right and we are back and as promised. We're going to talk about ptsd or would keep talking about ptsd right but the question that we have for each other. Do you wanna ask it. I want me to go go ahead. Is there anything good about living with someone who has ptsd. I wrote this question. I still think it's a tough question you know i would not wish. Ptsd on anyone true. I'll start with that so with that in mind. What the good that has come out of it. It helps me to understand other people abso win. I hear about a veteran struggling with. Ptsd or a a veteran's family member or or family member or friend who is struggling with ptsd. I'm like i get it. I know how you feel. I completely understand and so for me. It's if there's anything good. It's that i can better relate to people who are going through the same frustration and anguish and honestly emotional pain when they see their loved one going through this right and i know not everyone copes. Well that's true and so this question might be difficult for some other. Some people listening you know like they're their loved when ptsd is raging alcoholic. Who's angry all the time. In what would you tell that person. That's an even to that. That in itself is even tougher. I think what. I would be telling that person is i. Can't i cannot tell you what you should be experiencing if you're living with someone with ptsd and you're like you know my spouses a raging alcoholic as a result of pd. St how do i find good in that. I can't tell you what good you should find. I i'm in no place to tell you that the only thing i can do is point you to the one that is jesus christ the principe who can give you peace in the situation and and the bible even says you know piece that passes all understanding basically piece. That doesn't make sense. So i can't tell you. This is what you should be feeling. This is what you should be experiencing. But i can recommend you to eat a formula so to speak of how to live better in that situation right and and i would add onto that to a more. You know just. I don't know. Do we say worldly. Come that. Try to under try to understand. Don't don't try to fix but like research. See how you can help your one with ptsd. Because i think not. Understanding is a part of the problem right for years i had. Ptsd and you did not. You didn't understand it in in mind would manifest in depression anxiety in the soldier new said just go exercise pushups drink water burpee strength water and i'm like you so don't get it and it was true i didn't you act totally asked you to research it to better understand it and you you did better understand it but now that you have experienced for yourself it's completely different really it. It really really is just just so different when you experience it for yourself. So i'll ask you the same question. Is there anything good about living with someone who has ptsd. I think it teaches you. How similar to what you said compassion. I mean i've always had a big heart. And i think it's because it's been broken a lot and you don't hurt anybody else because you know what that feels like you know you have more compassion. Because you know what it's like to fill abandoned or left out or or or thrown away so you're not gonna do that to anybody because if you're not a monster you're not gonna do that because you know what that feels like me and so i have probably too much compassion. My heart's honestly probably isn't too big for people. There are worse things that people not for pets. But that's a whole different. That's a big for people. Pets you can have one. That's my ocd. Am sorry that's okay. But yeah i would say me. It's compassionate and i've seen more compassionate you as well 'cause i was saying earlier when you didn't understand it you just dislike. Oh burpee and water. But now you're like. Do you want to go take a nap. You need to lay down like there's way more compassion than there was before so if if anything good can come out of such a horrific diagnosis like ptsd. I mean if you can just you know. Be patient and be kind. You can learn compassion. Sure yeah that's a really good point. So that's it for the questions right now. We honestly united had these types of conversations for year really really long time and and this is just another one of those conversations of how to how to live with someone with ptsd. What it's really like. i. I'm going to go out on a limb here. What's the worst part about living with someone with. Ptsd not knowing how they're gonna react something and so you know there's times when not recently but you know there were times i'm like oh i don't know if i want to tell him this 'cause i don't know how he's gonna react. I don't know where he's at today. You know mentally like you know. He's already got a lot on his plate. I'm kinda it's almost like an egg shells kind of thing like the. You wanna be really careful. You know so so those can be a little. And i'm sure i'm the same way i'm sure you and the kids stay away. Well i think for me and maybe for the kiddos too. I don't know but for me. It's the the worst part you know other other than the obvious of you. Know seeing my spouse going through this right but you know how it how it affects. Your frustrates me is the inability to plan. I love planning. I'm like okay. What are we going to do tomorrow. Six weeks from now five years from now and like i don't know win and might depression depression. Yeah and you're going to be like. Oh sorry man like as much as you would love to go do that. Depression is just crushed. You for that day or week or i mean there are many many times to. I'm going to say through the years that i've pushed myself. You know because. I i wanna do fun things at the family like you know. I think a lot of people feel that way. Like yeah wanna goaded disneyworld and make memories you know and you feel like that that depression creep over you and you just got to push through it as hard as it is. You just gotta you can't quit. You got to keep moving gonna walk wounded speaking of which so i know we. We referenced. The walk wounded message right. So so for those of you. Who don't know this was a message from church. The highlands with A great jura tear in this region of the country. One of the biggest in the nation as i recall got twenty plus camp twenty two twenty. Three i don't even know now. We got a bunch of campuses anyway. The the one of the pastors nikon carter. He spoke any told the story about a guy that will testament by the name of jacob who ends up wrestling with this angel and this angel as he's wrestling with jacob he he knocks jacobs jacobs hip out of socket right but jacob keeps wrestling. He's like hey. I am not going to let you go until you bless me. And so he. He eventually wins the wrestling match. The angel blesses him. And then jacob has to go meet his brother. There's whole back did this to me his brother and as he's going to meet his brother he's limping like crazy. And so even though the angels blessed and basically god putting his hand on him and saying hey like i you know i i love you. I approve of what you're doing. You know i'm blessing right now. Even though god did that he didn't heal him completely soup but jacob still had to keep moving and he had to walk wounded. Right into put in real world speak is like yeah. You can have blessings you can have all these great things in life you can have money. Houses cars land lakes pools vacation homes. But that doesn't mean you're not going to have wounds right from other people from yourself from life itself. Ptsd is usually a a life itself kind of thing so what you gotta keep walking for. Sure for sure so what's another takeaway back to. What we're saying is be patient and educate yourself. If you want to help your spouse or even yourself like okay like read just read read. How other people are doing it and that have been successful and and see how it actually manifests in your own life. Because just saying it's ptsd. I bet there some other things surrounding it that maybe you don't even know. And so educate yourself and be patient with yourself and your spouse if it's your spouse right right and somebody said this is another great takeaway. Here is give your spouse space if your spouse was the one who has the. Ptsd right give them the space they need. I will say that with the caveat if you believe. They are in danger of hurting themselves. Get the appropriate help. Absolutely this is not the your spouse said. Hey i'm gonna take my own life and then you say okay one. That's giving them space. No no no. That's not a time when you need to give them space. That's a time when there needs to be an intervention right. You know so when we're talking to give give your spouse space. it's you patricia. Saying yeah take your dog for hike. Its ninety degrees. go ahead. i'm not with you. I'll be in the pool right. Yeah right yeah gopher run go go do something to to just relax to take that. Take the edge off so to speak. Then so give your spouse space. I think is a really really great takeaway there so anything else any other takeaways. We should share with our audience today. I don't know. I think we've covered it. I mean just to walk wounded. Hold their hand while they're walking did. Oh may that's the that'll pre treat there. that's good. That is so good well patricia again. So much for coming on the show really really appreciate. I know you didn't feel great today but you muscled through it and i'm so so glad you did. I know our listeners grew be happy as well and obviously on this show. We ask a lot of questions that we do our best to answer a lot of questions and we all have a lot of questions but the most important question we can ask ourselves is this. Have i accepted the forgiveness of sins. That only comes through faith. In jesus christ will thank you so much for listening. Be sure to follow social media. Facebook occurred to fight again. Same thing on instagram and twitter ad courage again. You can pick up. A copy of my book resolve at courage to defied again dot com or also on amazon. It has been such a pleasure sharing our hearts in this conversation with you today until next time. Thanks for listening.
The Maria Butina I Know
"Over the past six episodes we've followed maria. Boutin story in the united states from roller coaster rides at disneyworld. I came back to childhood to the center of a huge political scandal. Prosecutors claim maria boutin was secretly sent by the russian federation to infiltrate political candidates and the nra. I step outside and they put handcuffs on me and that was my last minute. The freedom a wild political saga involving russian influence powerful politicians and the fbi. This time she was very direct and she said dr grow here is. I've actually been sent from russia to make contact with you visas. Wow you guys ought to be careful. You know you don't want getting out. Into the american media could be problem. She was just heaving and sobbing. Give me out. i'll do anything again. Me out of there. Don't think of putin as while. She was aspire. She wasn't a spy. That's not the construct to think of her the way to think of her as somebody who was able to gain access to a group of people that provided a benefit to various russian interests i was drawn to the story because i wanted to know who maria was an over the past few years. I've spent a lot of time doing my best to get to know her. How does that feel. Feel like you've lost your identity. And you have to rebuild. I feel that they have a chance to start over. His hair wasn't on the right stage of my mind. And now i just. I think god gave me additional town and one watch him token you can you make. It's right now. And i'm gonna make this time
How to Vacation at Disney World, Without Stepping Foot in a Park
"We've done this a few times on our vacations which is vacationing at walt. Disney world. without going to the parks So i i know i enjoy it because we go so often. People always say like. Oh my gosh you know. Five days at disney. I'm just so tired because you know you get up early. Go to the park. Go to bed late and you kind of get burned out that way so this this is a good way to do disney just like any other resort so sharpie you wanna you wanna go with your first Tipper tidbit on vacationing disneyworld. Without going to the parks my first suggestion would be in the way you pack. I know that sounds crazy but always remember that. If you're if you're not going to the park you're you're gonna be dressing in mica resort in resort casual you. Can you can dress up a little bit more. If you're not going to the parks 'cause you know you need to be a little bit more comfortable but also you can take in some of the nicer restaurants and enjoy enjoy. The meal without being rushed so so think ahead to the type of things that you want to do while you're on vacation and pack more resort vacation instead of arcs vacation. That's my first gesture. This is definitely good advice. So you had to to expand on your point of taking this like a resort vacation. And that's how i kind of think of disney world. It's like a resort that you would go like a beach vacation where you go to resort Same thing that. Walt disney world. Where you go to a really nice resort but you just have the added benefit if you wanna go to a park for a little bit Or go to apcoa for dinner or something you could do that But just staying at your resort I i like the idea that where you can take it a more relaxed approach. Because i always feel like all right we gotta get dinner. We gotta get outta dinner. We gotta go see the fireworks over. We gotta be here So there's none of that you're just taking it
Lifelong Superfan Gets Paid to Write Disney Blog
"That he has always been passionate about disney ever since she took her first trip to disney world. When she was ten she fell in love with theme park and started saving money to go back in fact she began writing her own personal guidebook and she kept returning over and over throughout the next decade and even chose disneyworld as the location for her honeymoon since so much of her life was connected to this happy place. Becky decided she would share her passion publicly fresh out of grad school. She had just gotten a job. As a children's librarian. The work was ideal. It was what she wanted to do but the salary was fairly low and she had student loans to repay. She'd already been writing for other websites on all things. Disney and realize that can make a lot more sense if she had her own platform that she could control with these two reasons in mind. Becky started her blog. Disney in your day. This was back in two thousand thirteen when there weren't nearly as many blogging resources. There are now so. Becky had to figure out how to set up her own platform. She kept it simple using wordpress and five dollar a month hosting package that was their total startup. Costs five dollars a month next. She continued writing for other sites but use those articles to sprinkle in links to her own site. This help disney and your day get off to a good start avoiding the obscurity that many blogs remain stuck in of course having a blog and making money from it or not the same thing and monetize a blog can be challenging in baggies case she started with using google ad since a common way for blogs or websites to make money a few years ago. And it's still possible now. Just less common. Almost immediately began earning twenty five to fifty dollars a month from those ads. Adding an affiliate programs brought to one hundred dollars a month which was a start. Although the time she invested into the site was not commensurate with the income. She was making the writing in creative process with something that she enjoyed. So it didn't feel much like work. still increasing. The income generated by blog was a problem that she was stuck on for a long time.
Disney Makes Changes to Create More Inclusion at Parks
"Josh is changing the rules about decorum at the park. As far as his employees are concerned disney workers will allow will be allowed to have more gender inclusive hairstyles jewelry nurse nail styles and costume choices. All right with that means. Is that a net canal dress up like cubby and vice versa. Okay and cast members will also be allowed to show appropriate tattoos so donald duck will be able to have on his beak bound for hell or whatever donald wants to have. Ducks are great. So tattoos and gender fluid costumes are now allowed. Disneyworld and disneyland by by tradition by by nice atmosphere traditional atmosphere for a little kids. Let's get those tattoos flowing so this nut demaro and not is my opinion. Okay just my opinion. Not maybe i should rephrase. I think i should this guy damara. He says quote inclusion is essential to our culture whole so profound and leads us forward as we continue to realize are rich legacy of engaging storytelling exceptional service and disney magic.
Walt Disney World in the Summer: What to Expect
"Summers approaching and maybe were coming towards the end of this pandemic people. People from outside of florida are starting to plan. Walt disney world vacations. And if there's any luck we may be there once again in the summer and if you have never been in these seen if you have never been to walt disneyworld in the summer before recommends you bring a water bottle. Well we're gonna talk about a lot of things that make different than any time of year. Now we go with the exception of last summer. Twenty twenty every single summer at least once sometimes more than once so we are walt disneyworld. Summer experienced yes. We are veteran experts as vacationers not as locals although that would be nice someday but for now going there on vacation. The summer is quite different than any other season for of the year. So in this episode. We'll be sharing some of those differences and some of our tips as disney summer travellers first of all and most obvious is it is hot. I think that's quite an understatement. It is very hot. You're on the face of the sun robert that you know i'm going to start this by saying a couple of years ago. Maybe three or four now can't remember exactly tie five. We were there for record-setting heat so it was hundred and twenty five or something like that. I'll have to look back. It was scorching hot. It was so hot that the orlando sentinel front. Page said power grids strains under pressure of air conditioners. Which you know it's florida. You don't expect that to be happening a lot. They said it was hot even for them. Cast member said this is hard even for us and i remember walking. We were staying at animal kingdom lodge at that time and i remember walking. We had to rent a car because it was the summer and we do barrel beach to along with disneyworld on that big. So i remember walking out of animal kingdom lodge to the parking lot and as soon as you stepped out the front doors it literally felt like asana
Where to Find a Truly Authentic Disney Beach Vacation
"We're going to be talking all about disney's beach resorts and we're talking about disney's i guess. Would we call them their real beach resorts all around the world. Not their photo. Beach resorts at their feet resort feats resorts like that fo- beach and we're talking about places like what disney's beach club resort would be there features are and just a little bit of background. I remember when we talked about the wave pool that was in the lagoon and outside of the polynesian and dick nunez the emad surfer who turned imagine near and when they first opened disneyworld he thought disneyworld had to compete with beach resorts in florida. And that no one would wanna go there because there wasn't a beach so they created beaches and they tried to do surfing. Didn't really work but then later. They added the pool at typhoon lagoon yet and of course they added the beach club resort and tom along they deign has a real sand bottom. But it still wasn't real and when we say beach resorts i guess. Let's put it this way in front beach resorts well all right. Well we'll get into that. So there are you may or may not know three count them three actual disney beach resorts not associated with any theme parks. And we've talked about one on this podcast in the past if you're planning summer vacation hopefully we're all going traveling this summer and you want to go to a beach resort and you love disney. We're gonna give you three amazing options for disney beach resorts and i'm putting them in my personal preference order. You're probably going to agree with my order. I would imagine start with number one. Most important will go first. Okay and that for me is alani lenny desire lani resort and spa in co alina. A wa who hawaii i do you say that. So he no or lena that. So co lena is the little town. This is a true beachfront resort in hawaii. In this episode we're going to focus on the beaches because we're talking about beach vacations. We will do more in depth on the resorts. We've already done one about our number two which will get to momentarily. But if you there's nothing really. That beats a hawaiian beach. What do you think jonah blank blank. So the beach call. Lena is you fly. Into on her lulu. And it's a really short drive right. We definitely rent a car. And i'll get into why that resort alani is right on the ocean in this really upscale town called co alina and it's a little bit of an interesting beach there because it it's very sheltered. They have storm break. So it's not very good for surfing but if you're one of those people that likes to think the ocean is a pool that has no currents at all. This might be for you. Yeah it's of funny. Because i learned somewhere along the way in my travel life that most of resort hotels on islands even barbados in that they build the hotels on the quiet side of the island. But we love waves right. We like big waves. So we'd always have to do. When i was surfing and barbados. You gotta go down to the super bowl's on the other side of the island but all the big resorts are on the calm side. If there is one and co lena's the whole point is sort of like that but actually there's four lagoons dan this strip of land in their man made so they did like you said they built breakwaters and they're sort of like a c shape. It's almost like a donut with a little cutout which is open to the ocean right. So there's water comes in. They are open to the ocean but yes. They're very calm. They're pretty large. I don't know. I don't even know how big they are. But they're big. It's not like people. Yeah and you can rent boats and sailboats. And a few things in there it can take a lot of people and then there's other upscale resorts at the neighbors of alani and there's four of these lagoons and you can walk along the waterfront the rest of the waterfront there sorta rocky so that's probably why was undeveloped in the past and then disney came along and somebody figured out. Hey we can make nice beaches here if we put these little lagoons. So it is a true. Hawaiian beachfront resort. You can swim in the beautiful pacific ocean. It faces the sunset which is really nice. But if you're going to hawaii and if you're going to alani in particular there are many other as ing beaches on oahu. Don't always need to go in a volcano. Guess you don't need to go. What is oh. Amelia wrote a song as a kid going to hawaii in volcano which would be the big island of hawaii not on oahu. But if you're going to oahu and you're going to alani it's a beautiful beach Franck resort will get into all the rest of it and another episode because es cell using storm along. Bay is a good waterpark. Alani puts it to shame. But we're going to save that for a future episode. Pure here for storm. Along is now an official disney waterpark. A resort it sort of water park for among resorts compared to any other pool. That is you know typically pool with a slide. It's pretty much a waterpark. There's a lazy river there. there's a beat anyway. we're not talking about disney's beach club resort. We're talking about disney's true beach resorts on the ocean. But if you go to alanine. You're in hawaii definitely rent a car because there are some amazing beaches around the island and we have three favorites. Yes when we were there and the one one is why of course the north shore's famous the banzai pipeline. Wia me a base of drive to that beach. Any of these things are an hour to ride real easy day trips to go to the beaches and then i call the surfing beach surfing. Beach is kylie loa beach. If that's how you pronounce it pronouncing these the lower something. It's just back on the way back towards honolulu about halfway. There may be and yet. It's it's a real true. Hawaiian bichon little campground part. If you wanna take surfing lessons there it's great. There's great lessons there. The waves are consistent. It's a true open. Beat quite amazing. Little kids surfing. Yeah amazing little kids. Maybe we'll post a picture of usurping on that beach as part of this social media for this episode so that that one's really close great spot to go surfing and then across on the other side of the island is kahlua which is a really cool little town right on the water and they have a really neat beach there too so chi loo beach the north shore and kellyanne lower beach. I think that's how you say it. I may be saying wrong but you'll find it. Those are three awesome beaches. Plus you do have a beach rate at your resort. A nice quiet beach like amelia said. The water's warm there. It's very calm tons of beach chairs. it's it's fairly large semi circle shape. Check it out on a google earth map and you'll see so that is out of ninety eleni hawaii and then another one we talked about. They will be disney's vero beach resort. And i don't know this might actually be my favorite beach if we're talking strictly about the beach hotel. I'd have to say personally. I prefer the air disney's vero beach resort beach than the alani beach lie because it is truly wide open to the ocean. You can't even serve there either. You can on windy days. We have seen people surfing there. You can definitely bougie board there quite a bit. But i'm going to get in just like we did with lonnie there's other beaches nearby but at vero beach resort the beach is you know you're just on the coast there on vero beach so it extends hundreds of miles but there's rarely it's rarely what i would call crowded. No sometimes in the mornings we go on beach walks and watch the sunrise and get bitten by no see'ums. We talked about that in our verbiage. Episode. this is what. I was alluding to earlier if you want to know. More about. The resort in the area listened to that episode a few back but the beach itself. We didn't really focus on and there is a beach house. there where you can rent watercraft sailboats. But you can bring your own boogie boards and you surf and you're within range of bringing a surfboard. It's your subject to the winds really. It's wind driven surf there. It's not nash. Natural surf break but the beach itself has filled with tons of shells and highlight to look for shark teeth. It's weather dependent so days. It's actually quite calm other days. It's very rough. So i liked that personally. I like those open

"Name tag when i did it. It was like an The final chapter. It was an end. No you know it was that part of my life is over right. The working for walt disneyworld is over So it was kind of a sad memory you know and in a lot of ways as well. But then as i've you know gone on and i've met people in the disney creator space and i've met other disney cast immersed through wcw opinion and and all this other fun. I don't see this framed. Name tag as an endpoint anymore. I see it as a middle point in my life. Before i worked at walt disney world. There is my life. When i worked at walt disney world. Now there's my life still has disney fan as a former cast member as someone who loves to share -isneyworld with other people. So when i look at my frame name tag like that i i see that. This is part of my history. Now it's not an end point of anything. It's just part of the story and that's why i love it of course. Yeah and that's you know it's one of those items that is is priceless to you. It's priceless like i don't imagine us selling not for any price because of just what that means to you and and everything else that you're doing sort of really sort of falls under the umbrella of that item right all these other things wouldn't have happened to you. Had it not been for you being a cast member during that time absolutely in. It's it's something that i i've funnel everything through that something. You can't take away from me. I will have always been a cast member. I will always have that knowledge in those memories of working in the park. So that's why it's it's super super important to me so the next one. I go to look if you've ever heard this show before. Have you ever watched editing. Do i a kid at heart. I am a seven year old kid trapped in a slightly older body. And i do i love. I love the toys. I love the fun things too. And i love things that are fun as well as being unique and when i look at my collection in terms of things that are unique things that you can't find anymore which adds it adds value to me because i understand the rarity of it But more importantly items that connect to maybe the attractions. That are my favorites. You mentioned the haunted mansion which is why sort of bump this up on my list and plus two because of how unique. This item is and It's called a haunted mansion secret panel chest box and it's a small. It's about six inches by four inches by three inches or so rectangle and these were originally released in disney land in probably about nineteen sixty nine There's a disneyland version. There's a haunted mansion version and the box itself. the physical item is actually rare. I have seen very very few of these. Very few these in really good condition and i'm fortunate that that mayan is is you know in in near mint condition and the idea. Is this small wooden box. has no lock and key system. It has no visible way of opening it but if you know how to it requires about twenty different steps to slide different pieces up and down and it reveals sort of different mechanisms to open it and inside of it. There is a secret compartment. And there's a secret drawer to there's a. There's a color decal on the top..

"I will say this He did go on this missive about the Magic Kingdom and Disneyworld in the lawsuit as it relates to the Corona virus, which I really didn't see where that fit in. But it was like I wasn't even Corona virus back in 8.9 Aye. Flip through a 10 pages to get to what I was before. I was very confusing. But for I guess making the argument their multi $1,000,000,000 company and they can Ford not to do things like that. But we do know is then Hester Burkhalter is his grandmother was down here with her husband, their daughter that has some sort of a mental disability and two of her Children, and they were staying at Fort Wilderness in a travel trailer. They want to save some money. But he had been there lifelong dream to go to Disney and see the park's so the first day they got here. They went to AB calm down on day two. They got up early one to the Magic Kingdom and were stopped at security as we all are, And they asked her to empty your purse, which all women have to do when you go in through security, and they found a dropper bottle that says CBD Oil, 0% T. H C. They asked her if she knew if there was th CNN, she admitted that she had no clue. I just you know, the bottle says it doesn't so there's body camera footage where the Orange County deputies were working Security, said Quote. If we tested and doesn't test positive for T H C, then she can have it back. They do the field test on it, and another deputy says This does not contain to see a teach C. It's not criminal. It's not criminal to have that. As a prosecutor. How did they arrested? That's where it should have ended. So at this point, they pushed the issue and you've got thousands of people, you know, piling pass. Have you ever been to Magic Kingdom? You know how it is The oil's She's a grandmother, right? She has arthritis she had about legitimate use for its that figures into the lawsuit. So what will cross the line for me? Is they then they decided that they were going to keep searching her purse. They found $1600 in cash in there, so they're radar. Carol Grady is a drug dealer and peddling the stuff in the part. If you went to Disney, and I'm going to age myself here, back in the early eighties, like my mom used to take me and my dad, she carried a large roll of cash inside her broad that she paid for everything with she was not a drug dealer. Back then it would not be classified as one. So it escalates. From there, they decided to do another field test. They say it tested positive the second time for T H C. And then they get this whole conversation that you know this is hashish, oil and all that sort of stuff, which it wasn't They end up arresting her. The arrest was horrendous. According to her, she threw up in the parking lot of the Magic kingdom in front of other people. They try to put her in the squad car with another inmate who was already in there. And then they get her to the geo. And they asked her to consent or they make her consent to a body cavity search. Are you serious? That's what the legend the lawsuit. And so she was in the search area. They gave her the deal uniform and he was not for and she credits one female deputy who took pity on her and said. Yo, Are you sitting here? Ms. Ah, Burkhalter. Your paper Rock has already been processed. Well, the deputy tries to call her husband to come pick her up. The husband's hysterical and basically that he's gonna have a heart attack. So the deputy, like Is there someone else I can call for you to arrange decisions of calling average son in North Carolina to arrange the bail. So the husband was now hysterical can come get her out of jail and mind you there wasn't thrown out of Disney roll altogether and trespass or the parts for the time being so There's a place on Earth for them. Yeah, it was She asking for a couple 1,000,000 bucks right? Didn't see where they a lot times of these lawsuits. They don't actually asked for a specific amount..

"Okay you're listening to the best barbecue show and this week's episode is with Dr Florida right outside Walt Disneyworld there's a lot of cattle in Florida they're like twelve cow calf state in the United States right so and seeing some of those ranches in the idea of like having cattle like close to water and you had to worry about like alligators and stuff right that's a totally different environment compared to being on the US Mexico border at a had a chance to go down there and actually being in such an arid environment in Arizona right instead of just seeing that diversity seeing what ranchers do in terms of their genetic selection for their cattle because what works in Florida in terms of a cow very different than another part of the country right so that's what's cool about my job is I get to talk to people from all over the country in the world and also see how these producers are actually implementing all these practices and times I mean I'm learning from them all the while of what they're doing and you said you went to school California Were you did you go in thinking I want to study large animals I know that the smaller animals are generally more popular and it's harder to harder and harder to find veterinarians and doctors that that are interested in in larger cattle so do you remember Kinda where you made the switch or were you just always interested in Yeah I've always been interested in in large animals and this kind of intersection between the firemen and animal agriculture so like I mentioned that the research I did for my phd was on measuring methods are actually coming up with a new way to measure methane Davis with cattle see your point yeah we have a lot of people that are very very interested in wanting to be veterinarians that was actually never my my Interest growing up on a farm I saw what the veterinarians dinner was like yeah I don't WanNa do that right of you're always being called out on Christmas or in the middle of the night with a bad thing right and we need veterinarians playstation important role but a lot of our a lot of our students nowadays they're young women which is great and some are coming from urban environments right so autumn are interested in dogs cats small animals but it's so cool to see kids that are coming from cities cities I interact with animals and livestock I taught a class at UC Davis where we had to teach kids they're from San Francisco and la how to flip deep over and trim their hosts which was hilarious but also you see you see things like light bulbs go off and he's like hey I can work with large animals even outside of being a veterinarian I can be a professional in this industry and do do things where I'm working with animals all awhile and I think that's what's cool and the interesting thing is you you learn I I've had a great opportunity here to connect with the people who raise the caveat who from birth to feed lot you know they they they have stories they tell us so much about them but the the big message I've seen is how you can get so much more done by being gentle how you get so much more done if you if you wanNA run around and crack whips you know you're not gonNa have happy cows and is there is that something that you quantifiable are you seeing you know this the happy 'cause the being gentle you know adding to the quality of the meat that comes down husbandry piece right yes having good husbandry practices most rest ammo handling is a bonus for the quality of the meat the quality of the animal's life. and just like you know you are when we're stressed we're not doing so hot right and same thing with cattle they tend to be more efficient when they're in a lower stress environment pride so it's it's a win win in addition just being the right thing to do so we have lots of researcher that's that work on that around the United States a lot of people are familiar with Dr Temple Grandin and she's actually read the road from me and Colorado State University and she's one of the people it serves on our on our board for what's called Beef Quality.

"But it was not DisneyWorld Disneyland style. But he said he goes, you've got to go to the website and find he goes a couple of the restaurants have the actual machine. And they do it the way they do it in Disney were just not one of them. Can you know, let's find that out and have them come up. I think you told me the one in Lincoln Shire has the machine. I just assumed well if what has the machine they all bought the machine. Right. But I was wrong. I do also have to say I haven't had frozen yogurt in a long, long time. Good isn't an incredibly good. I almost like it. Sometimes more than I ice cream. They have a pomegranate, flavor that I'm looking at Mench. She's, and I bet. That's really good. They had twelve flavors yesterday that they rotate all the time I went with peanut butter and German chocolate cake, were the two that I had that would be that was pretty good. Very expensive taste. Yeah. Throw a free ice cream person if it doesn't chocolate in it, forget it neat. Yeah. We are. Also different. We really are. I mean just with I would go if I'm I would do, like a pineapple that dole whip is really honestly the best thing I've ever had this taste to it had the essence of your Disney delwip the flavor was there, but the consistency was different because it was yogurt as opposed to the whip, you know. But that's non dairy. We learned the dole whip is non dairy. Here we go. Dole whip pineapple sore bay. You can order a cake. Oh, could you do that? Yeah. Order a cake. But this says dole soft serve. Yeah, right. So the difference is you could get it the way I sampled it yesterday and soft serve, or he could get the traditional dole whip the Disney style if the franchises equipped with the machine, which he was not yesterday. And there's apathy said, some are you have to it's hard to find out who is to call them? Could you call them? And then everyone call all of them. There's like eleven or twelve of them in Illinois. I've never seen one until yesterday. You. Yeah. You'd better get right in there a lot. The one downtown Highland Park close to Deerfield. Oh oh, right. Right. That's the closest one to me. But I think the one I think you said Wendy lasts two weeks ago. The one in Lincolnshire is the one that equipped with the machine. That's the closest one to us. I can't find it that information now. And, you know, meant she's you're going to have to call. Yeah. That's all right. I don't mind make the McCall everything was knows kala let us know. Everything was still really good. I just really had my heart set on one and even though it was still tasty. It was not the Disney experience that I wanted to send chaplain, I went with the peanut butter and the chocolate. And then I went on the jungle cruise ride. Yeah. Always do I always do? All right. Here are more the phrases, the generation Z slang dictionary phrases that a teacher, Massachusetts has compiled for us, so that we can all converse with the teenage kids. What does this mean Wendy if I'm pulling up to if I'm sending you a pull up. What am I sending means I wet my pants and I need to pull up. No, that's about it at all mainly arriving to the party. Yes. Yep. There's a band being performed. There's band performing. The city and I mean, this is just so not soundproof. No, you would think in a radius. Yeah. The pro the monitor's on really loudly in that little area that connects all the studios. So not distracting at all. Are you vibrating a little bit? Well, yeah, but it has nothing to do with the bans jasmine, could you call each other. We need to set up a meeting. Thank you. I don't whip pineapple floats now. Vailable at Menchu's frozen yogurt location. Yeah. This is on Reddit, which you gotta be careful. It's not never as good outside the parks. But then again, what is it's been available at meant. She's for quite some time couple of years now. It's the same thing. Always good. But it doesn't say which particular meant she's, you will have to call. And maybe they can assist you. That's what I'll do. I'll call their corporate headquarters. I'm sure they would have a list of mass everywhere. I needed it all the location. And then try and work out where they bring a machine up here. Would that be heavenly to have that appear? You know, I do this all the time with things I would have like one every day for maybe two weeks and then I'd be like I'm done. There was a time where you and I were not working together. But I was talking about slurpy and I called them miraculous. I said, there's to me the modern miracle is the slurpee machine. I just love slurpy. So then a guy sent me a note saying that he's got three refurbished ones, and he'll give me one. He goes, I'm not asking for money. He goes, I'll give you a slurpee machine. I know how bad the want one and I couldn't do it because not because I would do what you would do, because I would be I would have them every, I would have them all day every day. Where would you put that in your house might find a place? I. Next to the bed, get up in the morning, Bill. Where's the nightstand hallway till you see what we have instead of nightstand? Slurpy this. I I'm not a big slurpee fan. They need to invent a good diet coke wine. I really do with, with the slurpee the they have diet options. But if you're going to do a slurpee slurpy gotta go free. Yeah. If you like the flavor of diet, coke, regular coke won't cut it Bill. Right. Yeah. So it's not for me now. Good, drink it. Oh, yeah. You know what's so weird? Those you hear this study done all the time that NutraSweet and all these artificial sweeteners are actually sweeter than sugar. So when you that's why they say you know, if you want to lose weight, actually give up diet coke. Right. Just drink water or diet, soft drinks worse for you than regular songs. They make you gain weight. Right. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. Because the the fake sugar is sweeter than real sugar. So you're, you're craving sweet things than all the time. Yeah. So you're supposed to give up soda altogether and just drink water. Right. But if you like a real coke to me, it tastes sweeter than diet coke, but it isn't. It's so funny how your taste buds. They acclimate you. There's nothing better when you take a can of coke, and it's kind of frozen and slushy in there. You know. It's so crushed ice. I can't go slurpy. I have I gotta be honest with on it. Crushed is, is the best. I like the slush puppy, a little better than the slurpee. It's like little. It's granular. Yes. And it's more of a drink you and it's like almost like yeah. Like HALE is an aqap with flavor almost like a snow cone, an icy or slush puppies. The fruit flavored ones, the really brightly colored. Pick your color, and they pump the they pump the air, and then it's like little tiny nuggets, pull out that knob and the slugger comes in. It's almost like a snow cone, L C, because they're like, little tiny pellets, and I like that better because to me a slur be is too airy. Oh, see. I like that. And when you when you're at the very end Bill, you'll appreciate this. Like you have a little bit less and you have to kind of strike it up and get it out. That's always the strong with the spoon on the bottom of it at setting. Yeah. Not a not a little kid. With the polar bear on a convenience store to our puppies. And you really do. Are you doing the same as I used to work at a pool concession stand as a teenager, and they had the slush puppy machine and I was like favorite thing making flush puppies, the dog on it with the hat, like the surfer hat, and a lot of people com- you know, how you like to go blue raspberry a lot of people used to combo the flavors. Oh, that was snow cones a lot, too. I was almost, but so cone, you can still you can mix the flavors, but they can still separate them on the snow. Mixes together at the bottom. Yeah, that's true. Good point. A lot of places used to offer up a drink option that was signed with beer. They called it a suicide. I don't think they'd get away with that today. It was Dr Pepper root beer. Orange whatever was in a line is now when you go into a place and you get, you know, the drinks yourself and it's all line, that's where my kids because they would just go just go down the road. And that's not good though. It's not that good. It's because you can't discern the flavor. It's, it's, it's a little bit of everything, and it doesn't end. Well, if anything has mountain doing it. Fear is such a strong flavor that, that overpowers it's almost like a little kids version of a Long Island iced. Yes, it is. Those on ladies nights at Oliver's and Lombard. Got a mug. I think it was like ten bucks for a mug and you could bring it back every Thursday night, and then it was our no five dollars for all you can drink for women. Did away with those all you can drink things. Weren't guys. Complaining about lady was a time where guys were saying, hey, that's not fair ladies night. They get in, they get all this free stuff. Guys. Yeah. Because bitch about. I know what if you're rationing. What are you doing? I am so rationing. What are you reading? What? What exactly? Are you doing? If I say, hey, when do you want to come out and play I can't? I'm rationing. What are you doing? I am rationing my energy, so. I have a rash, my skin. "Disneyworld. Very paid for we've got areas of that can hurt. Here's some Hilton Head. I hate that area. So tell me. Okay. So we are syndicated morning show Greensboro. Because typically shows in Greensboro, a decent size market, don't get syndicated, and you're probably thinking, well, obviously. Here's one. Knocked off, so the originate from Green's originate from Greensboro, and obviously, we live in Greece in this area, Greensboro. We love Winston point. I might be moving moving to oakridge soon. "Time DisneyWorld. He's a magical place. They put me in a picture, right? Threes. Unreal. Something for everybody notes, it even more special that place where kids and grown-ups complain together. First of all, Bradley Beal's, having more fun. Anyone this last two months? Great a rough go for the season. I'm glad there's some lightheartedness here at the end. I think I think the way to define Bradley Beal this entire last what three months limbs at eleven eight baby might be. By like, six eight stands good hundred six this. Which is Evan Turner had his second. Triple double in a row last night. Also have a little toilet bowl shot right times before dropping in. You can do that. If you tried. That's amazing. "In Walt DisneyWorld grew Zoar, and then PHI to Paris and run that half marathon is so that would be like my ultimate bucket list. I know everybody says like Shangai in Tokyo, but that would probably be mine. Yeah. I would definitely say mine is because I'm obsessed with Disney history and everything about it on actually there's two parts of the story. So definitely be Disneyland and to walk in Walt's actual footsteps Disneyland park and a visiting the studio in Burbank could literally bring me to my knees in tears because to see the enemy building waltz office. I'm talking like, the ink and paint rooms that the anything the Sherman brothers room. Anything? I could get might see that would be my dream and also getting to the Disney family museum. So fun fact really quick is a couple of years ago. We were on a flight back from DisneyWorld and on the fly. It was just my husband. And I and there was a documentary about wall where his daughter Diane narrated, most of it. So when I got back to Connecticut, I wrote Diane Disney Miller a letter just proclaiming my love for her father. And what Disney has given me. It's literally the keep. Her of all my childhood favorite memories. And how it brought us together as a family, and I sent it to this was I want to say maybe four years ago, the vineyard that her and Ron Miller OMB together in California care of Disney. Diane Miller in a month later, she sent me a letter with two tickets. First of all experts are saying her gratitude and two tickets to the Disney family museum from her. So I probably will never cash those in and I'm keeping them under lock and key. But I just have that connection. So definitely Disneyland. The studio in Burbank and the Disney family museum. That's awesome. I've got how are you a D Twenty-three member? No. And I've looked into it. What kind of bums me out a little everything about it? I love and I I know you can tour waltz office with that. I think once a year is, but they don't do a lot in Florida. And you know, it's just to get out. It's already toughened up we live here. And it's. To go three hours north, so yeah, I would I would definitely look into it more if they offered a little more even in New York City, a little more. But are you guys members? 'cause I really wanna be one. We are not, but are fringed Jackie and Sean are and they use their d twenty three membership to go to Burbank in do that free tour through and they still rave about it. And they went when the kids are a little older and my husband, and I can have a little more time. I would death because that's not a trip. I'd wanna bring kids on so. Yeah. No, definitely. I would love to be a d twenty th remember one day. We are we have the free membership. Yeah. Yeah. Just like we away signed up. I don't even know what we get. We get a newsletter. I think. Yeah. Trot Nick newsletter. So the next one would be your favorite Disney resort. Though, again, so boardwalk is my family's BBC home resort. So can't I have with that one. But on my most recent trip with my husband assess to we stayed at bay lake, and I am almost a magic kingdom resort conver- at this point is coming to the dark side. I totally am because especially at bay lake like your connected to the contemporary have literally everything there. I'm dining quick service, the bars, a great view of the fireworks, he left character. Dining you have everything and you're right on top of the fireworks in space mountain. But Bailey was just so quiet, and peaceful. I'd like I couldn't believe it. And then you have your own security entrance and soon we will no longer hover family brick there. But you can see. Berman a loss. So yeah. So I I'm true blue to boardwalk, but. They're on my favorite. I am true. Blue one hundred percent the Polynesian village resort. That was growing up. We always stayed there. And I was just staring February that I am a magic kingdom resort person. I've stayed at been fortunate enough to stay at all the resorts around the magic kingdom, and that one is just I mean, you walk into I could literally smell the lobby right now from thinking about it, and it just brings back so many memories. So definitely the Polynesian for me. How does that pool rank as a pool for little kid? Well, I I I mean, it's on beatable mind children could play in that play area all day for the kids literally all day, they have to lifeguards on duty at all times. And so, and then they have chairs around it enough chairs, by the way, you don't have to put your towel down. Enough chairs for every single parent to sit there around it, and, you know, watch their child so that and we've been to a bunch, and I've even been to who my kids have been to the pool at the beach club. Got and beach club, which is one of you never one says, it's a top pool, and it it it's a great pool. But that one at the Polynesian, you just there's no denying it's one of the best ones. Yeah. And that's, you know, sadly, we'll boardwalk lacks. They didn't even have zero entry. So it's like when we were there. My four year old was finally going down the slide like over and over and over again, the big skirts clown lied. But my two year old at the time. Like he just kept throwing his cars into the water, and we had to keep going down. The and take a magazine only have that like tiny little baby pool into the water. So that's why it's hard for me to pick a ever 'cause wilderness has a great play area. I'm grand Floridian. I'm Saratoga springs has a great one too. So let's say so hard for me to pick a favorite because I'm really critical. I was gonna say boardwalk, you got the creepy clown. That has to be oh, Polynesian has a dole whip counter out by the pool. I mean, come on you get your own. All great choices. So next one moving onto attractions and rides. If you could only fast pass one writer traction for the rest of your life, which one would it be. Okay. So unpopular opinion. Probably everybody thinks is right. It is over rated. I have to say the seven dwarfs mine train. Just because the line is always always always too long. It's hard to get fast passes for and the ride is so short. It's just like you just can't justify that wait time. Even with our little interactive stuff along the way, light my kids have still not ridden it yet. Because I just I won't do that line with them. I've only been it when I've been on solo jets for work. So that would have to be the one I would pick. I would say right now, actually, you know, fast past it's funny because I was originally going to say splash mountain, but there's been times where we're randomly. It'll be a ten minute way. And you can walk on right now. The the house favourite is slinky dog dash, and that would be my choice, and let me tell you Disney Imagineering really hit out of the park with that. Because unlike my I like the mine train, but it was. All this buildup. And then, you know, it's a little short slinky dog feels like the longest ride, and it's great for a family. So definitely slinky dog right now. Yeah. I was I was a little bit in when you start Jamie Lee. But you really be back in latter. When you pledge your case, I can see that point in not the biggest syndrome on train, but slinky dog love it. Yeah. Awesome. I was the first person whenever they first did their rendering of the drawing me like in outdoor roller coaster like what are they thinking? But it not is getting van. Yeah. It's awesome. So kind of sticking with rides which ride do you think is day for either an exit or refurbishment? Okay. So. I would have to say to care slow progress in. I am all for the rides. Anything feel close to all? I know. I mean, that's why we love seeking. The carousel of progress in every time I go on it. We literally get stuck making no progress whatsoever on the earth O'Brien how you have to answer to the emergency exit solid save that. But if I could bring back a ride that should have been refurbished and not is it it. I would have to get my props to body wars because that was wine and like gosh at just accepted like it's never come in back because I'm pretty sure they took all the pieces of it and put it to Star Wars. And we're never getting it back. I bomb you. Well, you are a dieticians directly. Yep. I think so refurbishment it's kind of a redo I am a hard core. Figment and dream finder fan. And I think you guys know where this is going. I want a redo of that. Right. It needs to go. I know it's never going. I'm Evan accepted. It's never going to go back to the original. But I just wish something I refer. We we do whatever it is journey into imagination. I think for an exit. I thought really hard, and I actually I think everything right now, especially with Star Wars opening up and Toy Story leeann last summer. Everything is perfect. The only thing I would say and I've heard rumors the Indiana Jones stunt spectacular. I think either needs to exit really doesn't go with the theme of that of Hollywood studios right now. I think so I think that's either due for an extra or a major overhaul. I can agree with that. We have seen that show

"Is my very own wife. Sherry, yvonne. Joining me. Happy to be here you sound thrilled. Now, I am happy to be here. Because Greg kick that energy up. I'm interested in these topics. I am also anxious to talk about DisneyWorld you are. And I haven't I haven't given up hope. So I still have the desire to go there. But after this last experience, it's my desire to go. There has decreased so Sherry recently over VO pre spring break. I guess you can call it the spring break. Vaca- took the kids with her mom I had to work, unfortunately, because I'm so sad that I missed that experience. But she went to Disney land in Florida. Does he we're all Florida and the kids who I thought were gonna come back static. We're like it was the worst time ever. Why was that Jerry, let me tell you? So I was fortunate enough to go as a child and always had amazing experiences there truly, and there were always long lines and people waiting, but this time going the lines were so long and besides that if you weren't waiting in line, you could barely walk through the actual park. It was massively crowded like to the point where you really are the sixty two other times that you've been there with your mother more than that, which I'm not kidding, folks. Sheri's mom has been to Disney. How many times this is her fiftieth time time to Disney, and I would say out of those fifty how many were just her and her friends or her alone. I'd say the last ten maybe last ten. Yeah. In the last ten or twelve but how does he like the some of the magic is gone? So it was just it was a different. Disney lost its magic. Yeah. Some of the magic magic kingdom lost its magic. It did. I mean, the parades were still fine and all the activities that they do. But in between like getting to where you had to go through the crowds lines. It was it was really difficult. I I gotta say I I loved the idea. I think Walt Disney was a genius to create this world that Walt Disney would not be happy right now. I don't think he would be. And I watched the documentaries on Disneyland. And I don't know if you've seen him, but he he had a vision for what he wanted. He executed amazingly. But when it opened it failed terribly the first like month or so because everything fell apart stop working, and there was hundreds of thousands of people showed up to his park, and they couldn't get a ride. Sweltering hundred degrees. The payment was melting people were like literally probably there because they were there the first few months it opened in there. So I know I mean, he he built this from scratch with this. I, you know, this idea, and this notion, and I think it's amazing and there still are really. Awesome parts to it. But it's too crowded. I wonder if the best Disney would be the best time anymore. That's the thing. Like it's a week before spring break. Do you going off season you go when it's kind of cold? I think everyone has figured out when to do that. And I think any time you go, it's it's just overly crooked people come from all over the world. So whether seasonal plays into it. Whether it's going to go when it's cold here and hot there because it's always kind of warm in in Florida. The minute goal is got this year was like fifty something sixty something. But I think you're right. I think it's I'm just I think you need a vacation from Disney when you come back. I agree. So I'm going to go do that. Please. Do your birthday is coming up you deserve it. Yes. So let me ask you this. When you were there, how many kids did you see on screen, ipads phones? Like did the parents use that as a major distraction to kind of get some kind of break. So I was happy to see that while walking through the parking like getting to the destination. It wasn't happening as much, but definitely restaurants lines. If the mom endow, we're, you know, we're having a conversation the kids were on their parent's phone all the time. Well, and then you read all these stories about how bad that is for for people. And I understand it's also a way for parents to get a break these days, you know, especially if you're single parents or don't have babysitters or family around to help watch kids. Folks, would happily take your calls. We went to nine hundred seventy two hundred on the Disney topic. And any of these subjects that we're talking about today. We have a few calls coming in now. If you haven't advice in navigating Disney already have one text coming and said, hey, I just got back from Disney. This is from the three one two best trip ever get fast passes and you'll never wait on rights. Is that true? Well, we yes. So we did have fast passes. But my mom was the only one who was able to create the fast passes. So we were limited on the number that we had but and the future. Now, we know that. More people need to sign up for the fast passes. So yes, they do help tremendously. So there's hacks that you can get away with. But I want to go back to the topic of the screens because I would imagine million kids times a million phones equals million brain cells being damaged. But in this article that I came across. BBC dot com by Alex Theorin, he states that worry less about children's screen use. Parents are now told it's the opposite of what people were saying a few months ago kind of apropos for the news. So this article says there's little evidence screen use for children is harmful in itself. Guidance leading patriots and say parents should worry less as long as they have gone through a checklist on the effect of screen time on their child at says, while the guidance avoids setting screen time limits in a recommends not using them in the hour before bedtime. Now. I know you're a huge you got a lot of the comments to say about this topic. We deal with this at home. I do I mean, and it's it's really opinion based so I I try to do the research on the actual facts. And when I did read about how harmful it was. It was really factual based. I this is a hot topic for me. But it's truly opinion. Like, I think it should be super limited. And they're saying now Peterson's leading Peterson saying it's not harmed his studies saying, it's harmful. Well, I think we could take that another step further, and it's all depending on what you're actually watching as well. Right. Yeah. So I don't think that the notion altogether that train time is not harmful. I don't think it's true. Because I think there's layers to it again like what you're watching how much time. I mean, there's games like fortnight. And there's no way that a six year old is watching videos, and then when they get off there so simulated everything else is boring to them. So that is true so harmful maybe not in your brain. That's proven but harmful. Four socializing, and you know. Learning how to acupuncture time. I think it is good point. Let's take a call from Susie. Hey, suzy. What's your Disney hack to sing that was seeking? They could limit the amount of people. They go into the paddock maybe, you know, per hour per day. I don't know how they could do it. But there must be ways that they could limit access to certain our. According to maybe you're passes or what you buy. Meet my other comment was well Disney. I believe he was born in Chicago. But it's a young boy he worked which is Dan, I read the book devil in the White City and. He is with Mickey Mouse, it's where he got his vision to create this fantasy world is you really experience. That's what a great story, Susie. Thanks so much for your time. We actually have to run the commercial. We appreciate it though. But yeah, I I'm just so blown away by what he created. I mean, it's truly a miracle and has impacted the world and so many great ways. We'll continue conversation. We come back. We do have to take a short break here. We'll do some news. And then best Navarro's joining us brand of music direct and ex Poona.
