Americans Likely to Boycott Companies They Disagree With

"I'll tell you this, Americans are so over it. There was a poll that just came out conducted with Trafalgar and the convention of states action in which they found that the overwhelming majority of Americans from all political backgrounds say that they're likely to boycott companies, they disagree with, which is an indicator that regardless of what side a company chooses to take, it's kind of a losing battle for companies. I mean, why get into this? In the first place, Disney, right? At least Netflix is figuring that out. I told you yesterday about how Netflix, which by the way, is a stock to watch because it's gotten beaten down so much. But Netflix is common to the realization that, hey, we got to serve our customers. And if our employees don't like it, too bad. And so it's important to offer a diversity of product. It's important to stay out of politics.

Why You Should Never Spend Another Dime on Disney

"To for people who have been hiding in their bunkers waiting for the end to come update us on what has Disney done. Why should we never ever spend another dime ever on anything related to Disney because what they've done is so horrifying, but talk to my audience who might not know about it. So they're coming against the same as and the bill to protect kindergartners from being indoctrinated with sexual ideology in school. Now, this was a bill that came down, they calling it the don't say gay Bill, it doesn't have the word gay in it anywhere. However, the purpose of it is to protect children. So those conversations happen at home and not in school by some psycho crazy perverts. So Disney came against that bill saying it wasn't right and they were fighting that Bill. In addition to the leaked audio and video showing that they were purposely trying to bring children. So that's kind of where this whole thing comes from. You probably seen their stock value has plummeted. I want to say it's plummeted over 60%. I think they've lost close to 70 billion in stock value up until this point. They need to go out of business. This is why I love you, because this is the point, folks, when people do this, when companies do this, when candidates do that. Whoever does anything like this, they need

"Can I say the filter that I put on this film that allowed me to enjoy it just a little bit more. We talked about singing in The Rain being very present. I also a part of me was like, oh, this is Sex and the City too. This is like you take the characters that you're pretty much done with because you've done a full series and a first film and you're like, okay, what do we do now? I guess let's put them on a fun trip and see if it happens. It's also one of those like ABC sitcom families goes to Disney World kind of specials. Yeah, so the stakes have left the building a little bit. Why not take them on a romp? That's just kind of the vibe this film had for me. Yeah, I mean, one of the few times when I actually went like, oh, that's interesting, is like literally four people wearing tennis clothes. I was like, oh, it's a tennis ball. That's interesting to see. You've got no time for most of these characters to have stories. But there's plenty of time to talk about sweating. Through the summer. In the South of France, which I thought was quite disappointing. Yep. Well, tell us what you think about Downton Abbey,.

Charlie Explains Gov. Ron DeSantis' Parental Rights Bill in Florida

"Wonderful Ron DeSantis. I mean, how great is Ron DeSantis, by the way? Isn't he amazing? He's just incredible. He passes like the most boring Bill ever, like super boring. Like you ask 99% of people in Fresno, they'd be like, why is this even controversial? Like, get away from me. Like, of course, obviously. Which is super simple, right? Like 5 seconds, 7 year olds should not be taught about transgenderism or sexual matters. Okay, that's it. Should not be taught about gender. You could read the bill yourself at 7 pages, and then the other part is that if health treatment is given to kids, parents have to be notified, okay? That's it. And so it was called the parental rights and education bill. And so this passes and Disney acted acted as if that somehow this was like a Jim Crow two against trans people or whatever. And they start running these advertisements, like this is a war on trans people. Excuse me, how is not teaching 5 year olds about these very and albeit confusing and highly politicized radical matters, an attack on trans people. And then what was amazing is you saw so many teachers come out and be like, I will not know how to teach my kindergartners anymore about math. That tells me a lot about what you were actually doing in math class. If you're not allowed to talk about anyway, I don't even want to talk about it in public. It's really disgusting, honestly. That's what we used to have words for people like this and that you could fill them in. It's not right. And so, but then most Americans look at this and you feel as if you feel like you're losing your mind at times and you watch the news. It's okay, it's actually part of the design. They want you to feel that way. You're like, wait a second. There's nothing controversial about this. Like 5, 6 and 7 year olds deserve to be protected in their innocent state. I'm not going to apologize for that, then Disney does this whole thing where they're like threatening against the governor of governor Florida. And honestly, Ron DeSantis responded correctly. He told me to cut it out. They didn't. He told him to cut it out again. He didn't. And so he treated Disney like a child because Disney doesn't care about children anymore. He said, okay, what do you do when a child misbehaves after the first couple of times? You punish him put in time out. And he said, okay, Disney, you're losing your $200 million a year tax bonus from the special carve out from the people of Florida like, okay, you're now going to go after the children of Florida and act as if we're the enemies.

Brad Anderson: Powerful Companies Assume Customers Have to Follow Them

"Sure, and I'm trying to be objective and appreciate a company and a corporate structure that says, listen, we've got employees who are upset about this. We've got employees who are hurt. They're afraid, they're worried. Now it's a percentage. It's a small percentage of the workforce. I'm sure Disney, but they also don't want to ignore their concerns. However, wow, you can do a lot of damage and sort of throw the proverbial baby out with the bathwater and try and do appease or accommodate a small percentage of your workforce. Well, it's probably a big percentage of their headquarters workforce, because it's an industry in which there's a deeply shared set of values. And I would guess that I don't have any question that the management of Disney is tremendously sincere in what they're doing. But they don't do the same when they're dealing with China. So they've got this practical reality they deal with and what they feel like they can be comfortable and act on their value systems. The political value systems, in this case, they're going ahead and do it. And I think it's also what happens to companies sometimes when they've been powerful for a long time, they assume that the customer has to go with them. And that's that, now we're starting to see that not necessarily the case.

Report: Conservatives Are Split About Florida's Actions Over Disney

"There's a story out talking about how conservatives are split are divided on the state of Florida, stripping Disney of the special tax and regulatory exemptions that Disney enjoys through the reedy creek improvement district. Some folks over at the national review don't forget national review famously with their never Trump edition right before the 2016 election, desperately trying to stop Trump from being elected. National review, these are institutional Republicans. This is the way we used to conduct political dialog in America, the national review way, the genteel, country club, smack each other on the back, and hope that the Democrats play nice with us. Those days are gone. Those days as evidenced by Marjorie Taylor Greene and Jim Jordan and Louie gohmert and others who are boisterous, they're loud, they're in the Democrats face, they're in the media's face, it's a new day, and Ron DeSantis is a new breed of Republican. The elites don't like him. Republican establishment types don't like Ron DeSantis. They certainly didn't like Trump. And they don't like this new way of trying to win. PS, not just trying, but winning. Desantis has had victory after victory after victory based on that town hall that Laura Ingraham had with him last night on Fox News. I think Laura called an Elvis

Ron DeSantis Evolved From a State Figure to a National One

"Desantis has turned his state position into a national platform more than any governor in recent memory. People have talked about other governors, Greg Abbott and Texas, Christie nome, as being potential candidates in the future, but I think it's probably fair to say that neither of them are commenting or taken as national figures yet. But scientists really is. He's not just taken as a prospect for the future, but as a national figure now. And CNN has noticed that. They go on to talk about the way that desantis has a cross the board been advancing the conservative agenda. Of course, is, well, his very latest move is to set up, but I kind of love the term, the election police. Now, I don't even think this guy has seen 2000 mules yet, but he's clearly aware that a, there's a problem and B, there's a lot of concern on this side of the aisle about that problem. In other words, no one is ready to forget about well, there are a few Republican establishment of those figure out about the 2020 election. Let's not look in the rearview mirror dinesh. Well, we can't really go forward without knowing the truth about what actually happened. So desantis, I think, has a political antenna that recognizes this. And so he's taking steps in that area. He's obviously pulled the tax support for Disney. And I'll talk about that a little bit later in the podcast today. And on the show, he's taken on critical race theory, the Florida, the state of Florida, that recently rejected a whole bunch of math textbooks. Why? Because they have all kinds of emotional and quote social learning. Well, how do you, when you look at an equation, how does it how does it make you feel? You feel sort of intimidated by numbers. And look, I'm not saying that there's no place at all for some consideration of how you feel. But a little bit of ruthlessness, I think, is the right approach. I mean, I say this is someone who was subject to a pretty heavy handed math education. Memorize this. Remember these formulas. And then just apply them to see which one works in a given situation. This is not ultimately about whether you are feeling sad today. This is about getting the correct answer.

Pedro Gonzalez: We're Living in an Era of 'Woke Capital'

"Let me ask you, now we have this kind of more consequential fight happening not in the halls of Congress, but now in corporate America, in my ten years of doing this, I can't remember a chapter of advocacy where what's happening in the corporate world gets more attention and honestly has more significance than actually what's happening in the legislative chambers. What's your thoughts on that? Well, before we went to break, I was getting to strike three with the Disney versus desantis feud. Strike three was when Disney then threatened to withhold campaign contributions in Florida in retaliation to this law being passed. So that has, again, getting to your point, you have a corporation that is basically trying to influence state legislatures. Obviously, they're doing that on the national level as well, but yeah, this is a problem when corporations are, we all know that they do this, right? But they typically, I think, do this in a more covert way where we're talking about lobbying and doing things behind closed doors. But yeah, I mean, we're really in the era of woke capital. We're corporations very publicly in ways that are maybe you just seem so insane because of the things that they're advocating for, like in the case of Disney, you know, transgenderism for kids and stuff like that. But yeah, we've really entered new waters in the sense that you're now starting to see the historic allies of big business, which is the right, the conservative movement, whatever you want to call it, is now starting to actually realize, okay, these corporations are actually a huge problem.

"Democrats are trying to pull the alarm. They are realizing that one man is remaking the mold. CNN dot com what's left of it. They write, pay attention to what Ron DeSantis is doing in Florida. Not a week goes by CNN rights without Florida's governor's Ron DeSantis proposing or signing some bill that aggravates progressive's worries, civil rights leaders. I love that term civil rights leaders. It's so orwellian. They're the opposite of civil rights leaders. They don't protect civil rights. They protect the criminalization of civil rights. Yeah, civil rights leader, very worried that free speech could be a threat to civil rights. CNN writes or penalizes politically correct corporations. Is that how they're labeling the land now? Disney's a politically correct organization. Oh, I see. Okay, so teaching a 6 year old about sex and transgender and puberty blockers makes you a politically correct corporation. CNN writes Ron DeSantis is a generational talent at seizing headlines. This is the stuff presidential ambitions are made of. This week it was Florida's second major election overhaul in as many years, in which desantis created a new election police force focused on election fraud. It would be under his control, even though he's up for reelection in November. Wait a second. So if desantis is able to put together an election police force, why doesn't every Republican do that?

Sean Feucht and Eric Discuss the Dangers of Being 'Neutral'

"This weekend, I'm going to be in your state speaking in Mike McClure's church in San Jose. He has been a hero with a handful of California pastors and I want to be around those people. I don't want to be around somebody who is concerned with it. I want to be cool and relevant and I think you're right that we've run out of there's no neutral at this point. If people are putting things out as satanic as what Disney is putting out as satanic as what the California legislature is putting out, I don't understand how anybody thinks it's okay to say, well, I'm not going to I'm not going to take a position on that. Okay, how about burning Jews? How about the Holocaust? Are you willing to take a position on that? What are you willing to take a position on? Do you have any values? Anything? Yeah. And the hard part, like my heart behind the letter Eric is that the boldest, most courageous fighters that we see right now are politicians. And it's never good when the church follows politicians. This is the problem. Like desantis shouldn't be the one raging the hardest against Disney. It should be spiritual leaders. It should be fathers and mothers across America that have platforms that rise up. Like, but we're abdicating our authority as the church to politicians and it never works out good. So that's why I'm saying this is the hour for leaders across the body of Christ to rise up.

Disney Stock Craters Amid 'Special Status' Feud in Florida

"I want to turn to Disney right now because this stock is just cratering. You know, part of it is the concern over whether or not some of these streaming services have sort of tapped out, right? There's so much content out there. There's so much information you can get. A lot of it's free and it's very competitive. This new marketplace. So Netflix proved that. They lost 200,000 subscribers. They're going to lose another 2 million, and investors are like, wow, okay, this is not worth what we thought. It was worth. Expectations are everything, right? And so now investors are looking around and they're saying, okay, it's not just Netflix. It's also other streaming companies, including Disney. And so today we saw shares of Disney continue to fall. In fact, in the after hours market, they are still falling down a little more than 1% in today's trading, ending down the day three and a half percent, a $115 and 77 cents a share. Maybe it's time for new leadership. Maybe this leadership is really not cut out for the challenges of this moment. And by challenges, I mean, not just the streaming challenge, but also the challenges from the political correctness police, right? So you have all of those issues going on as well. Disney is really up against it. And leadership really matters in the time like this. I would just point to bob Iger, and he was CEO of Disney during some really turbulent challenging times. And somehow Disney never quite stepped in it the way they keep stepping in it right now.

"Think a lot of the reasons that Friends of mine and you're my friend too that's why I value your opinion Have an objection to your stance on it is why would you err in a clearly an opinion based matter to be litigated on the side of Disney saying well this was retaliation knowing Florida could have done it just a few months later anyway right Why would we give them that benefit of the doubt when no such benefits have ever been given to us I mean I think about ESG scoring how that's a way right now for the government through the SEC to silence the free speech rights of Exxon Now I know you'll say well we should defend Exxon too Yeah but we're not That's the point So that opens up I got about a minute left but that goes back to my original point It's not a constitution if only one side has to follow it And that's exactly my point is that it's not a constitutional protected right in practice if only one side has to follow it So my point is that Disney has a right to exercise freedom of speech and opposed litigation without retaliation That is my point Now whether or not they can prove in court that Florida did retaliate I think it's a pretty clear case but that's the litigation question The distinction here is that people are saying they don't have a right to exercise their free speech and toward a should retaliate for that speech What I'm suggesting I'm not saying that they can't litigate over it You can litigate over anything What I'm saying is that Disney like everybody else has a right to exercise free speech without government retaliation That is very clear in the constitution Be great if we had that right too That'd be pretty spectacular Well listen And

"In other words you're right You're not incorrect that when you're citing is in the constitution You are correct But that's an interpretation of what you believe to be retaliation In other words yeah and I know I can already I can already predict you're going to say well a lot of lawmakers said that this was in response to Disney that this was in response to what they said to Disney Okay some of them may have said that But it is in fact a special privilege bestowed upon Disney and a lot of people objected to that Matter of fact it was an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal of all They're not even like hard right They're like center right if not down the center Even they were like wait this isn't some constitutional right to have a special protected district at all That's true So I don't even feel like that's an interpretation of what you think is retaliation where a lot of people would say well we just object to these things existing at all And if Disney wants to enter the political fray they open themselves up I'm sorry go ahead And I understand because those are two issues If we were talking completely separately about whether or not Disney should have this special benefit that's an entirely valid conversation and nobody saying that or at least nobody who's a lawyer is saying that Disney has a constitutionally protected right to a special benefit Nobody is arguing that I'm not arguing that And what I am arguing is that Disney Florida can not take away a benefit in retaliation for exercising constitutionally protected speech The issue and the right that's being infringed is the political speech of the corporation That's the substantive issue Now whether or not it is retaliation that is the question that can be litigated over because certainly Florida could say no this isn't in retaliation Sure Yeah that's my point But that's not a constitutional question That is a proof question

Jenna Ellis: Analyzing the 14th Amendment & Disney's Special Status

"Now here's my problem Jenna with this You know the constitution is not a suggestion You know you being a lawyer you're obviously intimately familiar with that It was never meant to be a suggestion It was meant to be a binding document You know largely a document of negative liberties right The Bill of Rights states with the government can't do right But what it doesn't say in the Bill of Rights anywhere is that state governments are at any point duly elected state governments prevented from revoking special rights they've given to people that clearly people in Florida if you pull the guy and they can always vote him out At this point many of them like me just don't agree with it That's not in so this isn't an attack on the constitution There's nothing in the constitution Again a document of largely negative liberties right There's nothing in there that says that That's not true So I'm going to push back on that because the Fourteenth Amendment actually has an incorporation doctor in that now requires the state to also have and protect the same right that if Congress can't infringe on it the states can't either And there's also law that has been duly passed an authorized that says that the Civil Rights Act suggests an intersection 1983 that if a government does an action that would have been otherwise lawful for any other reason but the motivation is at least in part retaliation against the exercise of the constitutionally protected rights whether that is federal or state government That is illegal and unconstitutional And so because we have the Fourteenth Amendment which is of course the reconstruction era all of that the incorporation doctrine requires that the state's protect the very same rights of the First Amendment as much as the federal

"What the a lot of them wanna do is they want to experience everything on their one trip. And i think it is like the one chip that you've been saving up for years i would say splurge a bit because if you don't know when you're gonna come back. It's definitely a good idea to do it. And i could see how disney genie might be helpful for that. So further new disney traveler. I could. I could definitely see in support going on all three loved. I agree one hundred percent if you are listening and you're new to disney travel and even if you've only there are a lot of people who go every five years or something so for them. It's pretty new every time and for anyone like that. I definitely agree that disney genie the planning one genie plus and even the pay for play. Ride one are all good investments. You know it's the same thing. I say a lot you're spending x. Thousands of dollars on a trip. A few hundred more to do what you want. Especially if you don't go frequently is value for me. You didn't have that option before. For example rise of the resistance you had all the stress of getting up. I'm only in that park for two days. And now you can almost guarantee you're gonna do it. Okay see that. That is the one good thing about disney genie but had they taken off the virtual queue. Then you wouldn't have to do that. Or virtual queue was the problem. It's still there for attitude. The virtual queue is the problem. Not the lack of fast pass. So it's still better than because the virtual you can still go and lineup. And here's another point. I wanna make what we're i don't know what if any of what i just said made senders but it made sense in my head. It did but they did get rid of the virtual queue so now you can still get on the ride. By lining up yeah exactly for newbies. We agree it is a good thing. I think we both agree. Here's my suggestion if you're listening and you're new traveler. Just be sure you download the app. Connect everyone.

"I also like Thin mints girl. Scouts thin mints. Those can be crunchy. Those would be offals agree. Yeah sandwich cookies and thins so perfect time to start planning for holiday holiday trip. If you haven't if you don't have plans for the holidays this year reach out. What makes them all right. And if any other holiday favorites at disney music. yeah. I don't know it's just always so nice to when you start early and you go and you get in that christmas spirit going and then you come home and you turn on holiday music for the next or two six weeks and i dunno. I said good way to kind of kick off jumps jump. Start the season and just joy all that time. Oh how disney likes to focus on the surprise and delight elements One of the coolest things i've ever stumbled on was kind of a pop up performance by hand bell choir at disney springs. That was cool. That was very christmas magical. Well that's speaking our language right. You love your little handbells so cool. It's nice to walk around. Like i think a couple of last year maybe the year before i was at seaworld for their christmas event. It's just it's just nice because it's nippy at night and you're walking around and your they've got all kinds of you know like apples. I don't know like hot apple. Cider schmo frigid. Yeah it's just nice to go and their songs and lights and shows and it's just a great you just out there and walking around it's nighttime at any of those parks always awesome as well though. It's a great time to get out and have some fun eight. I'm all machine side. Now i'm gonna go ahead and grab the show. Wrap it up right here. "Questions if you had any ideas. They wanted hence, like, oh yeah, we were documented. So if you were approached by Disney for the theft, what would you do? I'd be like, no, obviously I'd be cooperative. I mean, I know that I don't have a, however tool, animatronic in my basement, mainly because I don't have a basement. But I also don't have the animatronic in my house. I mean I'd be food cooperative, but also I'd like the flip side. I reasonable thing. That's the reason why in fact, what would you do if Disney pros should asking for their missing hours no comment? Were you those are both valuable options like not seeing anything just letting you don't have it. But the real answer was post up photo of the rubber mold used to create buzzy space on display and a collector's gallery. Oh. I'm taunt the Disney staff. That is a big dick move. So it was a wild thing to do in this mediocre wild calling the person a rebel speaking against the company and the thing is it didn't really help that they were just banned from the park after that. So, you know, like what would you like? They went through that apology that you apologizing and basically claim like a Knoll. And.

"Said yeah it it's The they did say they'll continue their relationship with the nba. Whatever that means. And what don't they have like like a practice areas and things and like professional. Nba things at disney world. I seem to remember there being like a athlete's village like at the olympics down there for the nba players. They totally have the espn sportscenter. Right right down there that we have never even seen or i. I had a friend that worked at the restaurant. There was like an espn zone restaurant. Yeah there again. Didn't appeal to me. So i didn't ever venture in there but it feels like there's a does disney on espn. Yeah oh that would explain it. Say there's a really strange connection between disney and espn. of course they ownership. Yeah so. I'm sure they will stay in contact but the question is will there be another. Nba experience probably is the crazy thing about the essentially. There is a fifth gate at disney. The the and we've never even seen it we. Would you consider it a fifth gate experience type of thing. I don't know. I hear that it is okay. We'll have to go one time. Just all lace up my nikes and we will go and play basketball and see how well we do then. Oh don't even say noah. I know there my flipflops. Y'all give you some pompoms. I'll cheer you on now. We're talking my sports. Do we have glitter seminar for how to apply glitter to be a cheerleader. Let's do that. Yeah let's talk about the real hard hitting issues No no teasing to cheerleaders. They're way more athletic than i am. Too so kudos to them. Yeah but that's a lot of stuff to talk about disney wise. It's like disney's always up to something. It seems to be their mo they're always up to something. And i appreciate that. It keeps our jobs. Interesting keeps my life interesting. Keeps us in things to talk about right. "Of things. Show me your performance. When it's all done i wanna see. That's a really good point. I didn't think about it that way. But yeah you're exactly right. There were just watching the pre show. Yeah yeah nobody really wants that. Unless you sit an out of town tryout for the broadway play right. But then they're they're purposely showing it to people being like. What do you think and then getting feedback. I was just thinking about that too. 'cause the new lights on the anyway avenue lights on the spaceship earth. They were testing that from this week and somebody took some video of it and posted online and it does look absolutely phenomenal cool. Oh yeah which is i. Guess that's all. I can say about it for now until the anniversary and browse round. Don't give spoilers totally that just when we talking about oak. Yes so how. We talked much about the space twenty restaurant app. Opening it up Just when we talked about how everything kind of got put on the backburner One everything shut down. I think that's the most read talked about. I'm not really sure why. I decided that i was attached to this restaurant but seemed very excited about right and then i was like why exactly this one of all rescued like hi. It's it's totally. Don't like heights and i didn't think about that because that's really what the experience is supposed to be right like you go and you go to twenty miles up right very similar to like the The spacecraft star cruiser hotel transporting you to a different place. That's what they're trying to do with the same thing with the space rest space. You twenty restaurant They were going to open. And then it was delayed delayed and then it was going to open on february twenty at twenty twenty. I believe ray and wasn't that the original plan february second twenty twenty. I believe did not work out. Did not shockingly. That didn't happen. I'm not sure what went wrong. Yeah like i it so all of that is to say it still has yet to open. It's not opened yet. But they did have finally announced. It will be opening for the fiftieth anniversary. Also and then they said actually. We're ahead of schedule. And it's going to be opening in mid september. Oh so even sooner than we expected which is probably good so that will be fully operational before we have all the crowds of the twentieth. Well do you think that this is like a dry run for the hotel for them to make sure that the technology is working because like you said. It is very similar. And you're going to get up in there. You're basically in like one of those rotating restaurants but a double layer so the outside looks like you're in space I've i have correct me if i'm wrong. I believe that's what they wanted to do with the star. Wars hotel also is. Have you been your rooms but when you look out you don't see orlando xactly space so i wonder if this is kind of like a tester to see if this effect is going to hold up work. Yeah i was wondering the same thing too. Because i didn't even think about the fact like gosh. Wouldn't that be cool. They actually does transport you in a way that you feel like you've done it. Yeah you know. That's the goal right. That's the goal. It'd be cool for does because i think like if i remember the the concept you get into almost an elevator type space that's round and there's a there's a viewing port in the floor and they threw a mixture of effects. Make it look and feel like you're going up and then you're you're in space apparently there's even a porthole above the top of that where you walk in also so like the what you see above you as you can see yourself like approaching the restaurant area. Also that's five hundred twenty feet up in the air. I really hope that in fact works because they'll be funded go. It is a premium experience. Obviously which means expensive i. I don't even know what sure plan on spending on a night like that. I assume it's probably going to be something like a Stretching room on steroids kind of thing where there probably is some movement involved just enough to make you feel like everything's real. Yeah i hope so. Hopefully it's not like that mission to mars thing that makes people sick spinning out of centrifuge or you're go flying off. You're you're able. It's the wall. Everybody's strapping we're spending. You put your seatbelt on. Ener recipe vomited iffy. Such mass rapidly spinning restaurant. I'm super excited. I hope that one day we actually get to experience the restaurant. Maybe twenty twenty two will experience twenty twenty ranked. We'll get up there. And i'll pretend to push you off and pull you back and be like h alive series scream and then we'll get kicked out of the whole of the restaurant for housing has seen completely to. Yeah but lots of things coming but we have some things going to you even imagine shocking again. Lots of lots of businesses. Lots of Things did not make it through the pandemic as far as staying openness concerned and one of those Unfortunate casualties is going to be the nba experience at disney springs disney springs. It was disney springs placed request which i never saw no and it was opened for like that thing was being rebuilt down there for. I'm not even kidding. Years right. it was open for roughly fifteen minutes like just long enough for them to have the media. Come in and be like what is this and then it closed basically. Yeah i think they said seven months in total operational time and they invested just millions of dollars into experience rebuilding and then And then all of the like. I said i think he was literally being built for like two or three years. It was being built. Yeah i felt like a long time and then for to only be open seven months. That's just crazy is just baffling to me but even when it opened we said like what yeah like. I don't know but now there's close. I'm sad although the people that like we're going to enjoy it have fun time with it. Well here's the thing is. We watched a video of someone kind of doing a tour of the nba experience. Yes because it's probably not something that appeals to either one of us specifically never would we go I i have enough performance anxiety. Shooting baskets like in our own private driveway basketball hoop. I can't imagine being in front of crowds of orlando people trying to shoot baskets or i would probably have a heart attack in the process. Greenwich twelve year olds. That could actually play exactly. Yeah but there are people who are really enjoy that kind of thing and enjoy getting professional feedback in that kind of stuff. That could be fun for them. And you're right. They probably a lot of money building this out millions of dollars for seven months and now it's just going to be closed. Indepth i mean this is closed permanently. But you don't know what's going to go there you know. I'm beginning to feel like this building is going the same way as the rotating theater. Disneyland where they just can't keep anything in their super cursed. Yeah it's like a cursed space. Poor disney quest curse.

"So the whole episode is how to what if essentially how to what if disney. Yeah but thank you. Disney for putting some hand-drawn animation. Back on one of your platforms. i appreciate it. Yeah i agree. It was show cute Speaking of acute show though crew wella we talked about. Yeah obsessed love it. Love him stone. Love the movie loved. What's the quote from my best friend's wedding. She's like love. The hair loved. The bag led the shoes lump. Everything right so much. So that like we keep wanting to go back and watch any Like we're dying to watch the black widow. But i can't because we love krill so much disappointment even more than you're like well i have to. It's time to watch. The disney movie was logical. Krill wash wartime. And that's that's coming out on disney plus like in a week or so too so you can just watch it on their. But if you haven't already gotten it so And obviously we are not the only people that loved it because they plan on cruelty to Electric boo blue. Whatever they're calling and emma stone has signed on to play cromwell again. Oh that's awesome. Which i'm really excited about that. It's about time that disney really worked on their anti heroes and kind of had fun with a purse like she wasn't a villain per se but she wasn't a good person writer. Yeah so. I like the gray area that the between the black and white that crew ella lives in. Yeah that's like okay. Maybe she's not always right and maybe she's not always right in the head but at least she is who she is. It's so true. Do you think they're gonna do they. Leave room for thomas to come back at all. I mean she went to jail so she technically not. Oh spoilers i guess. But she's not technically dead so sure she can come back. I'd be down for that. So we're excited to see emma stone comeback right. Of course i mean you know. I was worried about her and her career. I didn't know she had one after. Wow i'm only kidding. It's kind of like saying lawrence has worry you know she's made enough money. That doesn't need to work exactly none of these things that you wish. They don't need to but yet they'll always have want that's true good life but we did talk about somebody who is probably not coming back to disney. I know right this what happens. Miss scarlet johannesen We talked about how she was in the process of suing disney over breach-of-contract down which was pretty shocking releasing black widow on streaming service before ad simultaneously to being in theaters and that was in breach of contract for the and all the message that is very messy. And i and i said i was like. I don't know why we didn't discuss this before. Now i feel like everyone knew that this was happening. Why wasn't this discussed prior to now. And why wouldn't they have worked something out right. Felt like everybody else did. Yeah uh-huh and almost immediately after we discussed it. Last time i was reading up on things. And bob idir came out with a comment on it which i thought was interesting. And apparently scarlett and her team did go and talk to disney prior to suing and bob agar said. I don't know why a compromise couldn't be reached to avoid a lawsuit. Yeah but it feels like a failing to not have fixed this prior to this point so he agreed with you he did which is just my way of saying. I should be in charge of disney. Obviously yet right. I don't like i always. I'm always nervous. About putting such respect onto an industry leader bob eiger because inevitably every single time you do. They disappoint you like you. Don't wanna put too much weight on them because it sadly people in that position have to make hard decisions and they do things that you don't agree with thing wish that there was a better outcome for muslims but he seems to be a person who you know from what we see from him he always seems to stand up for what is the right thing to do and always seems to work out really really well for him in the company doesn't avila way it does feel that way and i feel like disney has been At i don't think anyone would refute. This has been some of the most successful years for disney under acre my buying up star wars and marvel at just leering. Everything in the entertainment industry are They've made a lot of money under And you know it goes to show that good. Bit good is good business. People make good business choices and And sometimes doing what is right is the right thing to do. Like sometimes companies like. Oh i know that's the right thing to do but we can't do it because of x. y. and z. And i like the fact that bob is saying no. This doesn't feel like it should be necessary and it feels like something that could and should have been settled outside of court. Yeah i just don't see why it wasn't you know we're seeing enough you know if i knew how to read. I would totally read his book. Books on tape books now. I just had a cassette player shift. But didn't you say that there are rumblings that shape pag may be offended by it and may end up leaving the company over it. Oh i did not hear that specifically. But i bet he is a little bit. I bet his feathers are ruffled. Because you don't step into that position if you don't think that you know what you're doing right and if you don't demand respect and that's probably just the disney of people make of that part of the court of public opinion likes to decide things really quickly. Yeah and go ha like these superlative kind of headlines where it's like it's the worst thing that's ever been said about a disney ceo. Ever before he must retire. You know like it goes over the top like that a little bit I bet did ruffling feathers And hopefully it's enough to get them to settle in a way that's agreeable to hopefully so that's hope. Yeah yeah yeah and then debt then they can move forward with the tower tear movie right. I'm pretty sure that's been effectively canceled at this point. Which is unfortunate honestly. I was looking forward to something scary But speaking of scary can we talk about some hotel prices in the parks today. Oh my gosh right. Can we talk about these horrifically scary.

"Much it for the fourth of july i think not bad We're excited for new things coming out down the road here. Were always excited for Disney hinting at new movies. New things New parks new additions to parks the disney fandom. We always like talking and pretending like we know what's going on when we don't see the new nancy coming out now though. It is nice after a year of knowing that. You're not gonna hear anything. Yeah it's nice for them to be like no we are doing things. That's very exciting literally. They repainted a castle. We lost our minds lost. Yeah for sure. And we're super excited for the the celebration down in florida. Maybe we'll be able to get down there some time and see what the celebrations allah boot. "I don't know i think this is kind of the new. The new thing that disney is doing is they're bill. They're they're having a signature ride. And teaming an area bob but it's really just an area around a single ride even with cars land. It's amazing right. That i think it i think cars line is basically perfection of land and there's only three writes in that entire land. Yeah there's three rides in there and they they run the gamut from super fast to medium to full family kind of attractions and then they do have stores in there but they don't. It's not like an embarrassment of stores compared to the number of attractions in the area. In my opinion yeah. Because when i go to toy story land At the studios. I don't feel like there's no. I guess i mean and i guess there's enough rights. They're they're they're also three. There are three rights there also Which is great but they also have I'm trying to think of the stores. I think they have one food kiosks there and they were getting ready to do the new barbecue round up. Oh write another restaurant opened yet. And i guess for us. It doesn't really feel like they're getting new rights because we have yet to be able to stand in line for Slinky dash. Oh the other slinky dog dash. We haven't been on that right yet because you know it's forty five minutes in bright sunlight and you're just like yeah. I don't know what they were thinking with that line. Why would you. Why would you in in this day and age. Make a line for a ride. Literally just a pavement bus ie defense offense for the entire length of the right the the line. Why would you do that now. You know better. You theme your your your lines so that people don't mind standing in them for a while. Yeah and then the mid midway menia Right was already there. They just right hugh around to the other. Part of the land right and then the saucers. I absolutely love that right but it's the maitre ride. Yeah it's just another like family ride kind of thing though that so i guess that's fine but really so you know you add it all up and you're like i don't know what there is to this land that i haven't already well and you know i'm i. I fully understand that. Not everything is going to be set up for us as adults like kind of the ideas that toy story land is really more for families with a wide range of kids ages. You know the the coaster is pretty simple. It's it's safe for you to take kids on of a certain age. If not you have the saucers and then the whole family can go on. The midway. Mania ride Maybe not all understand and do what they're supposed to do. But you can all go on it and it'll be fun anyway you know that's very true and the land does really serve his purpose very very well. Yeah so it's it's incredibly so for them like that's a good thing to do. But that's that's really kinda the recipe of opening the new lonzo's only to add two or three and the disney recipe forever. It's just you know new to me is. I'm seeing him open now right there. Yeah it's their most recent method So it'll be interesting to see what goes into paris. What they are what they are expanding on what might just be replication of what we have currently Sometimes you know we are now just barely getting ready to ride which we opening october down here in florida That was already started in paris. So you know sometimes things go back and forth and sometimes they get new things before we do because right they can use many our way. They are using though the expansion budget which i think this is incredibly interesting too that they it's going to be. The expansion is three times the original opening cost of the park row. Which i think is absolutely like it's intriguing to me though that like you go okay. We're gonna open parking get it started and then we're gonna use the money that the park makes actually expand on the park that you're going to yeah so that you can fund it that way and have grown built over time we like. That's kind of a great business model yell except for the fact that sometimes if you don't put enough into the park to begin with you're not going to make your money and other parks have to support it You know the problem with california adventure at i was people like this is not a disney park and definitely worth going to and i think it definitely suffered and other parts definitely had to pick up the slack for that one so that they could even make it a destination for anybody. Yeah and the studio. The walt disney studios and peres. That park has been really. I mean like laughable right it's been almost been laughable for the last decade that has been open well like i said peres disastrous opening really caused a ripple effect to the entire company cancelled a of things as a matter of fact the only reason they opened walt disney studios in paris is because they were they had an agreement in place with the local government that they would be opening a second gate within a certain amount of years or they would lose their land or lose the rights to land or something low so they open studios just because they had to legitimately they had to or they were gonna lose land and we're gonna lose the ability to open a second gay. They're like okay. We'll open one. Here's this they're welcome so it's amazing that we've they're finally going back and correcting all of the problems and making it an actual second gate now so good for them and like the frozen land there. That's going to be absolutely legendary. It's going to be super goto. And yeah they're gonna fix the boat problem in their frozen which is nice. Because the first time we went on frozen. It was the most uncomfortable ride ever. Dad like thirteen adult squeezed onto a bench seat. There was made to fit up to parent a child really fun like it should not be allowed that you can sit on the edge of the boat and thank goodness it. Was you not me on the edge because but literally was like you felt like you were sitting on the edge of the boat and the lap of the person next to complete all that it was very tight and uncomfortable for sure razi crazy ride but i think it's mostly because the people that were working there maybe weren't counting closely as they should or maybe i don't know maybe in paris people are used to being really close to each other but as americans we have to have face to spread out and i was very tightly in there and there was like a year and a half after the right open but they were still trying to get as many people as possible. Yeah i think. We've i've asked you now if given the chance. Maybe i don't know if we push our way into no. They told us we had to go on that right but in the future. I don't know that i would. I would just because they have to load so quickly. Really the only have like three seconds to get you on the boat and off the you just stand. Wait for no no. We'll wait for the next one. No no do you see the number of people in front of us. We are not getting on with these people. I'll look like extra big you know. I'll like spread out really wear puffy coat look extra big puffy coated up. Okay whites i feel like i'm this. Embalming mino- man's you're like i belong here in frozen in my giant puffy puffy coat. Yeah so that's pretty.

"The cone. Basically a salad and a cone also sounds awful war. Well they had something here though right. They had one that had mac and cheese in it which i think works. Oh yeah of course. That would work but i also brought up pita bread where you have a whole pocket that you could just put stuff in like or cow zones that they could make fairly easily. There are other things that are contained. That people are familiar with the work. That i don't know outside of just some novelty. I don't know the hand which really served much of a purpose. Yeah fills and i do feel like you would get pretty messy too. Even though in theory is trying to make it more convenient and stopped the mass. I'm thinking that in theory only watch. How many people drop ice cream in the park. Can you imagine them dropping tuna salad in the park. That'd be even worse yet. I don't think i could ever ice cream in florida. In the sense it melts almost instantly. Just like me and olaf we. Three of us all melt. Put me in summer and you'll be a melted to have salad but maybe from home maybe from palm with you wanna make mac and cheese turn it into a hand which give it a try spree glance and bacon. Whatever you do. Yeah why not. Give me fat but parks wise. There's been some information coming out now. Not about the hand which. Unfortunately they're not talking that at all that to walt disney studios in paris. It's one of the only things that are not ringing because it feels like they're doing a lot over there now i have had a sore spot for disneyland. Paris forever ruined my life. You know not to be dramatic but they because of the calamity that was disneyland. Paris a lot of things got cancelled right. Yeah and They kinda got their come up with the disney studios in paris which has been called one of the worst disney parks ever one of the worst theme parks ever. Oh yeah across all everything And we talked a lot about how california adventure was so bad when it first opened his little clunky not even close to his bad as walt disney studios. Paris apparently like well. Because i seem to remember that there were there. Were people taking the initial tour. And they're like okay. So when did we get out into the parks like over there now and as there like it looks like a bunch of gray building. Slick why would you build a theme park that literally looks like a backlog and that was high end disney executives that were there dry. They're like this. Is it so now. They're they are Pumping some life into disney studios over. Paris sounds amazing. Yeah they're going to double the size of the of the lands so the park is going to be twice as big basically like s overnight as soon as they get done with it and they're adding all kinds of things to it The avengers campus They're going to be adding an event. They get their own adventure. Campus area look at them and they're also Their version of the rock and roller coaster is also being switched to the iron man. Ray so that's very exciting the ad so it's gonna be a pretty unique right with that. Yeah since they're going to be reviewed faming that whole that whole ride and be and that's going to be part of venture's campus. That's gonna be really exciting for them. Yeah lucky oh good times. Good times. They also recently bought the fantasma Floats from tokyo sees from from tokyo. Tokyo disneyland's hey we do you remember those floats. They're the ones that are kind of also like the shape of a cone upside down. And they have. Like the sorcerer mickey hat float correct. Yeah it was totally that and they had like. They have a lot of them too. Yeah they everything and they have like inflatable things that come up out of him and stuff. Yeah so whatever that means like they bought those from Tokyo because that's a joint venture with disney. They don't actually own that park. And so apparently disney those floats from them and really do you think they're going to get fantasma. Can that park. I mean they may not get buying all those floats to me means that there probably will do something like fantasma and they might as well call it phantasmagoric. The the people of paris may not know exactly what that means at this point. But it could be fun nighttime. Water show So i'm assuming that they're getting a lake yes. They must be and flows versatile. You could really build an entire show around those floats Easily you could say that floats. Who it and change it up because they have like they have all the stuff just built in for you to just have a fun show with them regardless of what they're doing and wonder why paris's nighttime like right now and they have a fantastic there. I don't think so. Because i don't think that they have a lake to do that on. Yeah i think maybe they just do the fireworks show. If i'm not mistaken research well research It also looks like they're getting is the resistance which everybody is just clamoring to get on at all times now leg anytime you see anybody going to any park like oh my gosh. I'm trying so hard to get on. Raza the resistance voice. I think we started talking. I'm like yes. I want to go on and so bad. I know that that. I didn't think that was going to be right. They were gonna end it because they were talking about adding star wars land but was interesting about that. Is that space. Been quietly removed from all of the advertisement about the park expansion. Oh part of the land has been you know taken off. And i wonder like a couple of different things is like they've had to regroup because of the you know the financial situation that they may be in now But it also makes me think that it could be you know it's interesting to think about what star wars galaxies edges like. So far like did you know. I don't know that we have an indication if it's a good blander not there's a lot of people are basically saying there. It still struggles a bit come. Well i know that when we went This was before rise of the resistance was opened down here in florida I was Underwhelmed by the land like the theme was very impressive disney does steaming very well And smuggler's run. The ride was super fun. We had a great time on their Even though i i realize that you need to play more video games because you were terrible at steering i tell you. I didn't know that's what he's doing. We almost died. I had what i was doing and it was super fun. But then there's when we went there was just the one ride and then you were just surrounded by stores like everything was shopping experience and i was like you know what it's fun but the the the levels seem a little bit off you know what i mean. Yeah so. I'm wondering if other places are going. Look we can't build an entire land around a single ride and thirty stores. People just aren't going to be happy with that. We'll have to double check the time line. Though because didn't they opened that it would have been like twenty nineteen so is basically opened for almost a year before the pandemic shutdown sure and they opened it after the christmas season like into january or something opening on the off season which i thought was really interesting. Yes they purposely. Waited till after christmas and open it up Or whatever the case may be one that one. But then so. I don't know i don't know that we still have. We still all of these years later. Had no idea if it's actually a good land or not doing well. And here's the thing is. I know a lot of people like i said that. Want to gun rises the resistance and it is a major goal for a lot of people but people don't usually spend all day in that area mostly because there's not enough to do obviously but.

"Are we ready to toxin disney. After the thirteen day weekend everybody just took the fourth of july weekend. It lasted thirteen for some reason. It feels like everyone took a month off over the weekend. Doesn't you literally okay. So this is the thing too is like i'm used to it around christmas. Where every. Christmas comes circling around ad. Everybody's entire week right. Yeah the fourth of july really surprised me. Li literally had people leaving like last wednesday and they're showing up like today to say yeah leg day. You're like that's a that's a long break to take in the middle of the summer. But you know if y'all the great hating the great thing is is that you can go somewhere again. Just exciting i think. Oh my gosh the traffic. Every everybody's on the right now. Well andrew. I've heard that atlanta is pretty notoriously bad for traffic. And you don't really think about it until you're actually in it. Oh yuck this isn't very much fun. Tell you what Hope the fireworks worth it. Totally right oh yeah. Yeah i hoped to. Yeah the disney folks. Asia love their fireworks because just as we expect or not as expected but remember few weeks ago. We were kinda like ooh wouldn't that be. Great of disney brings back just in time for the fourth of july and obviously in these totally what they did. They released him. We are so smart. You guys i'm so happy. I am so happy that they were totally like. Hey guess what. We're going to bring them back like a day or two before before the fourth of july and we totally did right. We watched the entire livestream of What was the nighttime. Show not wishes it's Happily ever after and it was happily ever after. I love a good firework show. Disney has spoiled me for all other fireworks shows at this point. Yeah like you see a disney showing. You're like this is amazing and then you just go to like a local park doing fireworks and you're like well i mean yeah they're still pretty but there's not the disney magic involved. Is that a joke. You made this last week. That said what a what a disney fans call local fireworks amateur night. Oh joke i made. But that's a good one. No i did see people posting Things like fourth of july is when disney fans go see other people's fireworks and just go a fair to love a good local fireworks show though even if it's less ideal you know. I i if you can see some of the effort i'm happy. You know what i mean well and you like sitting directly under them where you might get singed by falling fireworks ash. I love you love to sit in that danger zone where you people are afraid. You're gonna sue them. You're so close legitimately. Oh it's amazing. Isn't the smell or the sound that you like of the fireworks. Every single part of it. I literally had like The camouflage army style pants that i used to wear out to clubs all the time. Sure and we'd be watching fireworks and it would like follow on my pants and like burn small little holes. She was amazing. And then i wanted to do it for me to look more authentic. Look more real. You know so great. It was the best. We went rolling through campfires dry holes fans movie. I was great shift. She's but disney. They do amazing things with their fireworks. I mean the reason there are. Fireworks were so amazing. Because they've put so much effort into them they have like they have them timed and they have them Set to detonate at very specific times and they can detonate them on q. And things very impressive. Yes mar small little microchips in those radiofrequency can that they can trust them to blast. Read it exact time. It's amazing it's a. It's a firework show. And a half. If you haven't seen the disney firework show. You should definitely treat yourself to a youtube video. And just see how impressive they are. A lot of them are lit up or they use them to get to the sky with air power rather than like lighter instead of black powder. Yeah they use air cannons to get them in the air basically so you don't see them shooting up even explode. Yeah which is very impressive. But that's basically what we usually start with now. Support the instant extra bonus bonus for all of you We usually start out talking about media stuff because disney is a media company We did some digging this week Because last week you were telling us about how you couldn't find things on disney plus Things that were advertised were not showing up. We were very confused as to why we couldn't change our our age rating remembering all this. Of course i am. Yeah and i was like i don't know what on earth you're talking about and i'm surprised no one else's talking about this and i googled around and i wasn't seeing anybody else talk about this until i realized that what we had done is we were using a vpn which put us into a country where Stars is available on disney. Plus folks if you haven't done. This is the new way to travel. Basically you just like look of country flags and you're like we like going to london today which we hoping do awfully british. Oh do you think. Mary poppins a so fear that i'd like. Oh sweet didn't where ikea's from so it's like this the sheer flag and i'm like oh. Let's just hear lag. Geez no this is not right. Close dealt listen to this for actual fact yeah. We are not geography teachers Five so stars. I did not know. This stars is a feature on disney plus in I think most of europe. I believe Because they do not have access to the hulu stuff that disney owns there. So it's something that we've talked about before. Is that a lot of the more adult oriented entertainment that disney has control of They do usually put on hulu and that includes like their tv stuff that they now own. The fox cartoons that they own. That's usually all on hulu at this okay. This is starting to make lot more sense then and still the stars stuff. is for those european countries. Where apparently they don't have access to that over their copyright laws so weird is so weird on this new global world that we live in all the time right. Yeah like everything. I went to go. There was another piece of software is trying to figure out today and literally it was like. Please let your home country like you always shows up. Yeah and then. It's a hundred and ninety three different countries long. Like i just always underestimate the size of the world's i always forget there somewhere something outside the atlanta traffic out there so it cleared up some stuff for me though. Because you're like we can't find this and this isn't here and this isn't there and i'm like i don't understand why this is not showing up and what is. Why would it advertise this. you know. come to find out. We were technically in london so it was advertising things to us that we wouldn't normally have access to But they have. That's a really fun stuff on disney plus apparently in europe.

"<Speech_Female> But also <Speech_Female> I <Speech_Female> think there <Speech_Female> are days when I <Speech_Female> plan to be care <Speech_Female> free. <Speech_Female> Their days <Speech_Female> I don't need to be <Speech_Female> anywhere. So then. <Speech_Female> But if <Silence> you plan something. <Speech_Female> <Speech_Female> Because you start <Speech_Female> at you say, okay, we're having <Speech_Female> dinner at this time <Speech_Female> wherever fast passes <Speech_Female> at this time said, <Speech_Female> okay we need to do this <Speech_Female> otherwise daddy's GonNa, <Speech_Female> forgive because he's not <Speech_Female> at all carefree a <Speech_Female> nice schedule catching <Speech_Female> the monorail <Speech_Female> at this time, <Speech_Female> and then we're doing that. So <Speech_Female> you make me crazy <Speech_Female> because otherwise <Speech_Female> you're gonNA <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> go crazy. <Speech_Male> You're not. So you're <Speech_Male> illustrating my <Speech_Male> point. <Speech_Male> As close <Speech_Male> to the end of episode <Speech_Male> that it's <Speech_Male> important to know. <Speech_Male> So you know <Silence> how I am. <Speech_Male> And so <Speech_Male> you adapt <SpeakerChange> accordingly <Speech_Female> I have to <Speech_Female> plan an exceptional <Speech_Female> amount <Speech_Female> so that daddy <Speech_Male> does not <Speech_Male> go crazy about because <Speech_Male> I have no carefree <Speech_Female> and me <Speech_Male> not <SpeakerChange> even a little <Speech_Male> bit. Well, I'll try <Speech_Male> to take that into <Speech_Male> account next time. <Speech_Male> Anyway my <Speech_Male> friends <Speech_Male> we hope you enjoyed <Speech_Male> this. <Speech_Male> What is your Disney <Speech_Male> traveled DNA <Speech_Male> episode <Speech_Male> I'm GonNa put these <Speech_Male> categories <Speech_Male> in the show notes. <Speech_Male> So <Speech_Male> if you didn't write it down <Speech_Male> and play along, have <Speech_Male> a look and <Speech_Male> let us know what <Speech_Male> is your Disney travel <Speech_Male> DNA because <Speech_Male> it will be fun to see <Speech_Male> what you think. <Speech_Male> But let us know <Speech_Male> on these six <Speech_Male> what is <SpeakerChange> your Disney <Speech_Female> traveled having? <Speech_Female> <Speech_Female> Carefree traveler <Speech_Female> what is it? <Speech_Female> The park free <Speech_Male> traveler? <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> That, <Speech_Male> you don't want to go <Speech_Male> to granular <Speech_Male> right there <Speech_Male> broad categories that <Speech_Male> pretty much cover anybody. <Speech_Male> So <Speech_Male> I don't think you can <Speech_Male> find somebody who doesn't fit <Speech_Male> into these. That's <Speech_Male> the point two. <Speech_Male> So <SpeakerChange> let us <Speech_Male> know what <Speech_Male> you are <Speech_Male> and we'd love to hear <Speech_Male> it and we hope <Speech_Male> you enjoyed your Disney <Speech_Male> traveled DNA <Speech_Male> and it's important to know <Speech_Male> you and your family before <Speech_Male> you go. Especially <Speech_Male> if it's your first time <Speech_Male> and if it's your first time, <Speech_Male> you're going to sort of have to guess <Speech_Male> basically just <Speech_Male> what your personality <Silence> is if you haven't been there before <Speech_Male> so <Speech_Male> thanks for listening everyone <Speech_Male> and be sure to <Speech_Male> visit us on <Speech_Male> Social Media At <Speech_Male> nineteen twenty three. <Speech_Male> Main Street pretty much <Speech_Male> on every channel <Speech_Male> and nineteen <Speech_Male> twenty-three main street <Speech_Male> dot com <Speech_Music_Male> and check <SpeakerChange> out our paycheck <Speech_Male> pay <Speech_Male> asks if you love the show <Speech_Male> and you'd love to become a <Speech_Male> supporter we do have <Speech_Male>

"Dear to my heart the luxury Disney traveler they love the finer side of Disney travel and what does it mean well they WanNa do all the events club level. Club level. Albert. Yang. All the above. Basically, we talked about pay for play. In the episode, we'll be called the rich Disney Chapola. The luxury Disney traveler loves anything you can pay for to get an edge they're gonNA WANNA, do it. They might not do them all, but they do appreciate the ability to pay for extra magic pay for all the things that will give them a leg up and they see the value in it for them to pay for those magical extras. It's person may be a part of club thirty three. Yeah, that would be nice and they want to do a lot of the things that other people that you mentioned like our other things like the grand one. But a lot of people don't even know exist. So the luxury Disney travelers going to seek out those high end pay for play opportunities and take advantage of those. So they have sort of different angle or even the VIP tour event you know forget the park buster there can say that's fine I'm GonNa hire a park buster essentially the VIP tour guide who's GonNa Walk me through the park and tell me everything they know I guess the VIP tour guides are sort of the ultimate park busters yes you'll get paid for best Apply for that that is that would be a sweet job. The plaid's I spend all day and Disney and get paid high. Yes. I'd like to do that. All right that was number five and there is one category left. What do we call category number six of Disney travel? Adventure but Disney adventurer and the Disney adventures a little bit like the carefree but. The scenic route. Yes. Good way to put it. So the Disney adventure likes to chart their own path. So you are a Disney adventure. If you like to discover things that the average Disney traveler isn't aware of, but not the VIP things like the other person could be it could also more your but also more..

"Was a great episode. Check that out all right. Tiki room very good song. Next up stitch. What's number two on your to Item List for Best Disney? Hi Ho. It's off to work. We do to dilute the two. I hope yes it is yours mine train. Let's hear some fun facts about. This song was written by Frank. Churchill and Larry Maury not the Sherman brothers and it was made for the movie snow way that came out in nineteen thirty four. I I it's fun. Oh seven doors mine train. You mentioned on top of the podcast. That's when your favorite dark rides favorite dark ride and my favorite right and they fit that song in perfectly. Well I mean top of the PODCASTS. Do you mean beginning. Yeah that's what they call it. The top of the PODCAST. I so I think I mentioned they actually so much in the first episode. We did to. You probably did around the first episode. Absolutely absolutely all right. Let's talk about illumination This is the epcot show that just ended last year created and directed by John. Dorsey the music for this. A lot of people love their music for this. I agree it's one of the great musical pieces of bunch of music in it but it's a really good The way the combined fireworks the show elements in the torches in epcot lasted over twenty. Almost twenty years that shows that should just shows how much people loved it. It was created and directed by John. Dorsey the show premiered on October. First Nineteen Ninety nine as illuminations two thousand reflections of earth as part of The Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration. It was so successful that after the celebration ended in two thousand they dropped the name. They dropped two thousand from the name and just kept going. Garin greenway is the composer for eliminations fractions on earth. So let's hear from Mario from the station. Seventy one podcast about why he loves. Illuminations Hello Disney discussion crew. It's Mario from the station seventy-one podcast. Tony asked me to help you guys out this week by talking a little bit about one of my favorite pieces of music from the Disney parks and IT I. This was a really hard decision but I really had to think about this one. Because there's so many good pieces of music out there in the parks and I was instantly drawn to things like one little spark or it's a small world where there's ear worms they get ingrained in your brain and you can't get them out no matter how many times you ride the attraction or try to do something else. But when I think about Disney parks I think nostalgia. I think memories. I think all of those trips that I took with my family when I was growing up. And all of the memories making in the future by going back and no piece of really kind of signifies that or brings me back to that place like the soundtrack to illuminations. Maybe I'm getting a little bit misty eyed because by the time that this episode comes out it's going to be gone and I'm a little upset about that but for me. I think that this is one of those perfect pieces of music. That's tied in with a spectacular nighttime entertainment show and it's something that I know. When I was younger we would always watch the end of our days. Epcot and for me. I think th that just brings me back to those that place it you back to those trips and all of those times that I took with my family and that's what Disney means to me. I also think that it's very symbolic of the future for Epcot and where the park is headed. The very last song that comes with illuminations as part of the Millennium Celebration is promise. It's on that plays at the very end. When you're leaving the park and you can hear parts of this song refrained throughout the entire elimination soundtrack. Specifically the beats to the will go on parts and I think that the will go on something that everyone needs to remember when it comes to apricot specifically if you look at the way that the parks headed if you look at the direction and the change and all of that stuff it might be a little bit scary especially. This is a part that you love as much as I do. But you have to remember. Things are changing. We're going to invent new ways to build different attractions. We're going to see new things in terms of technology. And that's exciting promises. A very inspiring insightful song when it comes to invention and discovery and it reminds us that we're always moving forward. We have to continue to move forward. And as the sun sets on only nations in Epcot begins. Its changes in the words of promise. We'll go on moving on through the good times and the tears ever on a thousand circles around the sun. New Life has begun. And that's very important to remember these next couple of years. We begin to see all these construction walls go up and have caught starts to take on a new life. There's a lot to be excited about. And I'm I'm happy to have lived through the last couple of years with APP And I just wanted to say before I.

"Focused. I am man. That's a great cruise on Disney cruise. As you gotta go yeah and they go. I honestly a perfect links We did a three night for our first cruise and short is way too quick. You GotTa five nights is a relaxing. Good rues the course. I like to do the whole seven if you can do. The seven but five is also really great. Because you get you get to relax and get it into three. It's like you unpack your bag. You go to dinner. You pack your bag and you leave. I mean so the reality of a three night cruise is let's just say it starts on day one the first and you board the ship anywhere from eleven. Am to four pm so you really have half a day day and you don't necessarily have your luggage yet. It takes a while so it's half a day on the ship and you go to dinner and there's some some entertainment then you have. Have you been travelling all day. And you're tired aired. Yeah so then you have day to which is a full day then you go. That's you've done one night so now you're doing day to night that's your second night and then you go to day three. You have a day to do what you want. And then the next day you leave so you twofold as on the ship with three nights though it just you have have a half day work. Yeah you really don't have anything on that last day. You have breakfast and that's it there's no entertainment there's breakfast.

"You used to talk about. Is there a Bob Disney after school. Special the more huge about the birds the bees nope absolutely not. I know the first rule of Improv is yes but that's a nope nope. Let's buy some merchandise instead so now in the parks available to purchase you can get red cith trooper merchandise so think of the normal stormtrooper but now they're outfit isn't read. This is in preparation for the new movie for evening wear for evening wear. Yes you can get red and black hoodies. That's the main two colors along with t shirts parts costumes and figurines. That's now available. We we've been talking about the rise skywalker past two days we we have with with the trailer was some other fan videos. We've seen we're getting more and more hype for it yeah. I have some hope that Judy knew hopes no nope. I don't then old hope nope. I just have hoped the Abrahams can salvage the story. I'll I I didn't tell you this. I heard that there have been massive. re-shoots requested did rule which okay good all the time most films. There's re-shoots. There was re-shoots for rogue. One rogue was great there re-shoots for Solo we love Sola. We're among the two out out of ten people solo but they said that in the article there's a lot of re-shoots and it's not looking good looking good the fact that there's so many that doesn't that's not a thing so. I mean this isn't GonNa. Bother me because I'm already kind of worried about the film anyways so like hearing. This doesn't really I will tell you right now that I am such a die hard fan that will love it. I you know I feel like I like the last Jedi until I after I thought about it up. Sinclair walked out and I was like no. You know what this it's really bothers me and this really bothers me. Actually I'm not GonNa talk about it but the one fan theory that I read recently has made me dislike. The two other posts accused sequel sequels the two other sequels so one through six now. I like just call a sequel postal. That's what I just popped in my throat. I think it's been nice no but I threw six now and I understand one through six a whole lot better and seven and eight now. I really don't think I I angry with it but we'll talk more about that and then the date sure thing this is something that is super exciting to me so remember. I told you that target was going to partner with Disney. The need to create some pop up stores around so target now has haunted mansion merchandise. Oh for me happier. This is you yes as all you I would. I love this stuff coming. Just I'm trying to air elbow. You were doing kink last week. Thinking tried to say wink hint and I said pink ink. I do remember that yeah. Obviously you didn't because I have to tell you but this is fun. You can go to target now.
