"So if you have anything, you'd love to share with us the best place to do that would be by leaving us a rating and review on itunes. We would love to hear from you. We always love hearing all the amazing things that you've implemented from what you've learned here in the podcast and how you've customized it to be your own. So We'd love it. If you share some your stories with us over on Itunes, it Kathleen Yeah, we would love it lewd appreciate it so much because it does it helps us get our ratings up in I tunes. So yeah, that would be amazing. And we get to celebrate you as well. Exactly. So. All right. So today we're talking about a simple and free strategy to increase interest in your programs. So I WANNA take you back in time. A little bit few years when Kathleen and I I started launching our own programs and doing consistent promotions each year. So we are actually scheduling our promotions and being very intentional. Every single year. This was back in two, thousand, twelve and two, thousand thirteen. There was a very big difference from how we handled our launches then. Chew what we call now, our launch runways in twenty twenty. Now, that isn't just because we've changed the marketplaces changed the expectations have changed. We're going to talk about that today. and. You may be asking Walkin, K.. Launch runway that's a great question. So in a nutshell, the launch runway is the two weeks up to two months prior to or leading up to your promotion your cart open period the time when you're enrolling clients in your program and there's a very big difference between how launches were run seven to eight years ago as I said versus now and specifically what we're GONNA be talking about today is leading your audience in on the fact that you will be launching that you will be opening enrollment that you will be Making an offer having a sales conversation, you're going to be talking about what you'll be launching and when it will be coming. So you're really warming up that audience wherever your email s your podcast listeners, your blog readers, your you know social media, followers, all the people that know about you. You're going to start warming them up between weeks two months prior to you actually opening your cart so. With that said, let me set the stage for you. Back in the day when we first started launching, it was actually common behavior not to say a word about what was coming and when it was coming until the day the cart opened, and then you would send an email and it was like. I have a program to sell. Do you WANNA buy? which you know like I said, it was the norm back then. But when I think of it now is just like I don't love that strategy. Do you remember those days Kathleen Oh gosh well, you think about it. So let's take a little trip in the time machine here. Especially because way back then social media was newer I think facebook has been around fourteen years instagram maybe ten years. So. INSTAGRAM is newer but yeah, things have changed a lot and thank goodness for social media because it does it can play a really big role in your whole marketing strategy. But like you're talking about right now, warming people up that launched runway is so important. Definitely, is, and let's face it of us ever liked to feel like we're being sold to. Instead we would. We like to feel that the people that were purchasing from or were enrolling in their programs that they've educated us that they've given us good quality information leading up to open cart sale period, and that we are intentionally making decision. We feel like this is a good move for us that this is. A transformation that we WANNA make or it's a goal we wanNA reach and this particular program or coach is going to help us get there and so I think that I love the strategy so much more because I feel like it so much more authentic than Giosto. Okay buy something from me. Yeah and it can be really fun. TWOS WE'RE GONNA share some ideas like we were saying nowadays things really do look a lot different on social media it's expected and even preferred to bring your followers on social media and through email behind the scenes to let them know what you're working on weeks and sometimes even months before you ever open the car and when we're talking about open. The Cart we just mean before you're offering one of your paid programs. We've been using this strategy for years now, and it really helps your on his warm up to the program. You'll be launching as well as gets them invested and excited about the process which makes them more likely to purchase. Once you open cart, it really is such a great strategy and can work really really well. Today. We want to share one specific way that we warm up our followers ahead of time. Yes. I love the strategy. So one of the easiest and free ways of warming up your followers and getting them excited to investor enroll in your program even before you open the cart is to take them behind the scenes and on the journey with you of prepping your program creating content and even what type of promotional strategies you'll be using during your launch so Remember as I said, none of us, WanNa feel sold to we wanna feel like the person we're buying from has educated us that they've been forthright with us that they're upfront authentic, and then that's when we feel like, okay. This person is worth the dollar investment that I am planning to make. So I love this. So let us give you a few examples. Kathleen. Why don't you kick us off? Yeah, and as we go through this examples, I, think about. An example maybe that you've seen someone else using, but maybe you didn't realize that was that there was a strategy behind it. So let's talk about one, on one coaching let's say you WanNa book more Discovery Hall suit can enroll more people into your one on one coaching program. Some great examples of behind the scenes topics that you can share about on live streams in stories and even static image posts would include one number one. A routine or habit that you engage in daily in.

"The best sandler trainers. We had the best Franklin Covey trainers and we had the best products. It's something I know a lot of people are looking at is getting coddled but the more than a company like that invest in the more they expect NAM, and they always work with you and you know, but they would keep low performance by any means So it was that was. What truly gave me the strength to one actually go and research this stuff on my own to not just show up to work every day in my job and go all but show up to work today to ask myself how can I get better at this? How can I stop beating myself up with all this negative self talk? How can I go home and read a little bit from other salespeople people in that's how I found this show in this podcast early wanted to get better outside those four walls work every day. And who you're selling to a glass door was at HR yeah. Primarily, human resources has been my entire sales career Nice. They are they are, and when you first started sales I think it's I think it's great. You need to speak tonight's people because if you get that angry person who hangs up on you or that person who by any your thirty minute meeting says Kno, Taht I don't think you're pitch was any good. That really can affect you when your brand new at this job But then the further you get the later in your career, get you the best kind of people are the ones that will be absolutely rude you. It means you in the worst kind of people are the ones who will be the nicest people ever to you and that was part of my evolution of working in in how I've gone through multiple roles in in my career Amazing acl. To specially sense they you know people are are the most valuable asset accompany also the most expensive and so the tools and resources to help get those folks are absolutely vital and what do they care about what? What would their hot buttons when you are so glass door. This is a unique thing. Sometimes, you were the hot button your product was the pain that was that was the most unique thing about the business glass doors in amazing product to this day and it solves a lot of recruitment problems for a lot of people but it also is a user generated content platform. There's a lot of them out there. Now it's kind of the way it goes yell there's Google reviews due to crowd and all this purposes we serve. We. Bring power to the people in power to the users in those types of sites are absolutely nothing without their audience at our credibility and so when you're talking to someone, you might get a C. O. Business in your solutions are geared towards helping him find better people. But sometimes, there aren't even thinking about that. They're mad at you. You're the face of this company WHO's letting people leave horrible reviews about my site which Obviously, you have to empathize with you learn empathy awfully quick. You don't. You'll never make it there an obviously you had to be able to have those conversations then help them understand that this is actually a good thing not just for the world, but for you as a business owner and here come with me, I'm GonNa show you how this works. That was really what people care about. They obviously cared about I need candidates like you know from two, thousand, fourteen, the two, thousand, and nineteen was impossible to hire really good people But mostly that's kind of a commodities industry of every. There's a million job websites out there. Now, I work for an amazing one now but still the unique differentiator curiosity. It's about themselves. They always wanted to know how do I get better reviews on the site because I keep constantly hearing about it so who was a great experience and what differentiated you had some great years there Yeah me personally just care more adult WANNA put myself over too much. But I just care about this. This crime this hustle I look at myself as a sales person is like a badge of honor It doesn't necessarily mean that you're working leakage work until eight in the night but it means when you're at work like, what do you focus on? What do you do? Do you dive in you actually legitimately not just go through the motions on Discovery Hall you actually find what the person really cares about needs and not just you know there's Everyone knows who listens to this show. You gotta find what people truly care about. They don't care about your company they don't care at all but where's the science of it? That's the hardest part. Everyone listened to an amazing sales trainer all day like you always say, Hey, you gotta you gotTa get into people you gotta send release specific tailored emails. You GotTa send you know you got gotta call the great voicemails you gotta call things out in the league but how do you do that and I think each rep needs to figure out what works for them also that is the style in science of sales that the science of sales is to obviously hit all these bullet points when you talk to a customer but how do you get to deputy White House eventually gets the point where it customer will tell you what they spend with your competitor of no issue and you can use it to your advantage. So those are the ways and I think that mindset helps me understand just to get a lot out of every interaction I have with every customer. And I. think that's a key thing because the caring is important but the paradox is you can't care too much about the initial outcome right and it's been it's been a whirlwind so. I left glass door in May, enjoying the company going right back to the world of very, very scrappy, very, very small, very, very close tight knit group. I've joined a fifty person company that you go from glass door, which is a household name at everyone's heard of it, and now I at the first few weeks literally every cadence I had attic completely changed on the fly because every. Time I'd get a customer on the phone the first question wait where are you from? Like I didn't know how to do with that, and so I quickly learn like you know you are the site, the style at the science of sales, the style of how to have a great conversation with someone without them even really knowing who you are, what you do or how you can help them yet. And that's what made me successful early on here of getting into a whole new world in what I've learned is you know it's great to work for a brand name, a huge player, the industry leader in the space but that means that customers already got a thought in their head of who you are and what you do and how you do it. Now, you work for a smaller company you write the story you tell them who you are, how you've had a feel about you. You don't have to overcome any bias this. Because Hey, I mean it's it's awesome to have that big name but it's a little more fun than you can obviously control the narrative because if someone liked you that much it of already bought from you call you Oh, isn't It would have already done it. So all great I worked for this giant company. Everyone's heard of me everything's GonNa. This is going to be a great job I'm going to call people are gonNA agree to meetings like they know you're out there why haven't they bought the if already had free demos last year what's why haven't they called you in? So that's why I've really learned his first two months in my new role of whatever they liked about it and whatever they will take advantage of. And how do you answer that question that who are you, and how do you kind of characterize who who the company is? In the. Yes I. I tell myself with the company. I obviously admit that Hey I've been a navy recruiter and abandoned glass door for six years. But let me tell you about tell room my new company and then I get into exactly who we are as a platform but they innovate statement is very quick to sentence. Hey, this is how our unique value prop solves your problem, which let's.

"Six PM eastern time in peak at ten nine PM eastern time nobody thought it was possible magic Mr producer of the show was on. in the morning or mid morning or noon or three o'clock or something like that. the morning eating dinner. busy with other things going on a can you imagine that. but we're not going to. so we're on top of this this latest effort. we're on top of this. now the the United States. defined second Marquess per has announced that we were going to be sending additional US air defense forces to Saudi Arabia. and the personnel that's necessary to operate those. defense force. and so I'm sure it's an anti missile devices and things of that sort. that will be provided to Saudi Arabia it's a good first step but hopefully it's only a first step. because so he read it hasn't sell the damn thing excuse me Iran has and saw the damn thing. the way the let's see the LA times reports defense sector markets pronounce that US air defense forces will be sent to Saudi Arabia. asper said the president's approved the deployment of US forces which we defensive in nature. experts said the weapons were Iranian produced the ones that attacked Syria. not launch from Yemen. all indications are ran was responsible for the attack. let me tell you what I'm hearing. I'm hearing that espers. rand Paul would like to hear this is quite the Duff. and I'm also hearing the sector state. who is neither a doctor nor a hawk. he's more I don't know. that he's been pushing to do something. about the situation and I agree a hundred percent. a hundred percent. so that's what's being done now you'll hear the code pink Republicans lose their minds they've already lost them but you'll hear them go on and on here we go again here we go again we already have troops and sunny right it just so you know Kuwait. we only have troops there. no Nancy Pelosi has a great idea. and of course tongue in cheek. plus he says Congress should pass new laws so sitting presidents can be indicted this is national public radio house speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested a new laws needed to be able to indict a sitting president for potential lawbreaking while in office. it it screws of interview with NPR house speaker Nancy Pelosi says she's not changed her mind of pursuing impeachment but is ready to change the law to restrain presidential power make it clear that a sitting president can in fact be indicted. I do think that we will have to pass some laws tell of clarity for future presidents a president should be indicted he's committed a wrong doings commit a wrongdoing. should be indicted if he's committed a wrong doing. there's nothing any place that says the president should not be indicted she said now I'm going to address this you know years ago when I was a young man. who had experienced you know the so openness of of aging. so forth I used to say yes we we ought to be a Monday December then I I really started thinking about it's like convention of states. I said no let's think this through. look at the environment today. you can indict a sitting president. no she doesn't explain herself because she's incapable of explain yourself. does she mean any federal prosecutor can indict ascending presentation means state prosecutors does she need local DJs what if she me. she doesn't know what she meant somebody ought to tell her what she means she's dim witted. I will let's move on from there. how bout a federal prosecutor. the lady is German how many US attorneys are. at least how many US attorney offices are. there for ninety three. so there's ninety three US attorneys are acting United States Attorney. there are thousands of assistant United States attorneys. thousands. that's a lot. and so when you have a US attorney. this is the US attorney who wants to investigate a president. let's say for campaign finance issues or non disclosure agreements. where they want to investigate a president because they think the president. has violated the emoluments clause so they think the present the United States is obstructed or they think this side of the other. what kind of a president will you have. what kind of a presidency will we. it'll be crippled. now why would they be crippled. let's forget about the presidency let's focus on you. what would you do if the US attorney's office starts to focus on yeah. and let's say your taxes. whatever it is. you're gonna spend an awful lot of time worrying about that archer. you gonna definitely have to spend a lot of money maybe all your money hiring lawyers to defend you. it's a long drawn out process to. this can be all kinds of discovery hall your emails or texts. all your financial records those of family members. and that's gonna be other subpoenas. family members friends your accountants and so forth. gonna spend a lot of time I even ruin your life. and that's just the pre trial phase. the send your Lauren to court to fight various aspects of the investigation the fibers motions. and of course. go to the trial phase. there's gonna be numerous witnesses. you have to show up in court. try to go on for three days and go on for three weeks maybe longer. got to defend yourself will you take the stand won't you take the stand. a jury of your peers one Washington DC it's not really a jury of your peers it's a jury of liberals. and that's where president will be tried in Washington DC. so politics unavoidable the president. let's say the president's convicted. did you get a prison. the suppression go to prison. there's nothing that said yes to resign. testing the governed from prison. although a peach maybe they will maybe they won't. let's take a few steps further. president is still a citizen. at the same time he's trying to defend himself and all these phases of an investigation in a court case. he's dealing with Iran he's dealing with China North Korea immigration thousand issue. the one a president isn't threatened. with an indictment. takes years and years off their lines. incredibly difficult job. even without the threat of a criminal prosecution. so who suffers. we the people we suffer. who benefits well his political opponents. and our enemies they benefit. because obviously a president is going to be burned he's going to be. distracted you're gonna have the same media pushing indictments pushing convictions pushing sentencing. he will be a. an impossible burden not just for the president as a citizen but for the nation. but for the nation. mark the president is above the law the present in the United States. is one of a kind whatever party who amber this there's only one president has hundreds of members of Congress. there's hundreds of judges. there's one present in the United States. and so you could have one prosecutor. one prosecutor. the side. essentially. to reverse the course of an election despite bringing a chart. one prosecutor market would have to be coordinated with the attorney general's office know wouldn't maybe maybe not we don't know it's never happened. let's say it's coordinated with the Attorney General so then you have a cabinet member. who was elected by anybody. a cabinet member comes an enormous pressure from the editorial page of The New York slimes the Washington compost the daily drumbeat from the so called news rooms. look the Attorney General in Israel look out he buckled and they do buckle the good I Chief Justice how he buckles to. media attention and media pressure. one Attorney General might be no different. so you have a circumstance where the present United States. coming in the office would have enhanced. because an indictment is an allegation tall this. the dressed up allegation. that's all it is. I want you to look today at the horizon. of hundreds of subpoenas issued against the present in the United States we've never seen this before. we have a special. counsel. right the kind of report that he wrote we have the Southern District of New York which is a rogue operation at this point. you could have disgruntled. former campaign staffers are disgruntled White House staffers. who decide that they want to help create a charge against a present the United States to take them out for a variety of reasons maybe they want to write books maybe they want to. maybe they have a vendetta they won't even a school or whatever. all these things now what happened. all these things. now this comes from Nancy Pelosi Nancy Pelosi who doesn't believe the freedom of information act should apply to Congress. so you can get access to emails from congressional offices you can get access to any documents from congressional offices. save immunize themselves from the public gaining access and yet aren't they supposed to be the representatives of the people. clean the house most directly represented by us. and if we can't get anything from them nothing. and look how they treat themselves with all the sexual harassment claims they put. Asia slush fund together with our tax dollars. allow these members who were accused of molesting one or another person to use those funds. basically for hush money. our dollars. part I would not their dollars. it would be nice if the house of representatives under Nancy Pelosi would actually do something up a secure the border. that's a good start. right then trying to destroy the economy help us build up the economy. and a thousand other things. but they're very destructive this the same Nancy Pelosi the same Democrat party that rejects the constitution. the electoral college the second amendment. separation of powers which they throw around some convoluted form one another. a lawless bunch doesn't believe in forcing our immigration laws in securing our borders. six to destroy our health care system they've done a great job of it so far. destroy our other institutions the same Democrat party. that supported slavery. segregation Jim crow. and now one form aspects that would support anti semitism. we don't need lectures from Nancy Pelosi about the rule of law about the constitution about liberty about anything. she needs to be defeated. checking checking go back to San Francisco. I walked the streets of San Francisco. to see what her party is done to that beautiful city. but the drug addicts and the homeless. the human feces and the syringes. one of the most beautiful cities on the face of the earth run into the ground by her party. of which she is the muscle. local state and federal. she won't release her taxes. she demands it other people released their taxes. she doesn't believe in union workers when it comes to her vineyards. in the multiple businesses that her husband owns. none of that. I'll be right back. van..

I want you to look today at the horizon. a hundred just subpoenas issued against the present in the United States we've never seen this before. we have a special. counsel. right the kind of report that he wrote we have the Southern District of New York which is a rogue operation at this point. you could have disgruntled. former campaign staffers are disgruntled White House staffers. who decide that they want to help create a charge against a present the United States to take them out for a variety of reasons maybe they want to write books maybe they want to. maybe they have a vendetta they want even a school or whatever. all these things now what happened. all these things. now this comes from Nancy Pelosi Nancy Pelosi who doesn't believe the freedom of information act should apply to Congress. so you can get access to emails from congressional offices you can get access to any documents from congressional offices. save immunize themselves from the public gaining access and yet aren't they supposed to be the representatives of the people. to clean the house most directly represented by us. and if we can't get anything from them nothing. and look how they treat themselves with all the sexual harassment claims they put. a slush fund together with our tax dollars. allow these members who were accused of molesting one or another person to use those funds. basically for hush money. our dollars. part I would not their dollars. it would be nice if the house of representatives under Nancy Pelosi would actually do something up a secure the border. that's a good start. rather than trying to destroy the economy help us build up the economy. can a thousand other things. but they're very destructive this the same Nancy Pelosi the same Democrat party that rejects the constitution. the electoral college the second amendment. separation of powers which they throw around some convoluted form one or another. lawless bunch doesn't believe in enforcing our immigration laws and securing our borders. six to destroy our health care system they've done a great job of it so far. destroy our other institutions the same Democrat party. I supported slavery. segregation Jim crow. and now one form aspects of its support anti semitism. we don't need lectures from Nancy Pelosi about the rule of law about the constitution about liberty about anything. she needs to be defeated. change she can go back to San Francisco. I walked the streets of San Francisco. to see what her party is none of that beautiful city. but the drug addicts and the homeless. the human feces and the syringes. one of the most beautiful cities on the face of the earth run into the ground by her party. of which she is the muscle. local state and federal. she won't release her taxes. she demands and other people released their taxes. she doesn't believe in union workers when it comes to her vineyards. in the multiple businesses that her husband owns. none of that.
