"I'm good. Listen, before somebody, I know that people scrutinize his show, they look really deep. They appreciate them. Looking quick, looking long, look and deep, looking. Whatever, as long as you're there looking, we appreciate you all. And you like my southern y'all. And. Before people have to start guessing, no, I didn't make a comeback. No, I didn't get popped in the eye. You didn't have a fight with bob Aaron, are you sure? Well, I avoid those. The birthday. Yeah, I would have liked that. But no, I got popped. I got popped because at the fights I was covering a UFC fight the other night at the garden. And for years, and it was a pleasure that you guys were there. I was really nice to have few and robbed there with me. And then Ken was getting really kind of surrounded by so many fans. And more, it was getting a little out of hand. It was getting a little crazy. So I jumped in and stuff started flying. I got caught a little bit trying to get kid out of there. Listen, I'm kidding. It could be possible. That could be very possible, but no. I had a procedure done. This morning, an eye procedure, no big deal. They removed the sty, great doctor, doctor ray, Mustafa, did a great job, I wanted to have an open eye by Thursday when I have a big foundation fundraiser dinner. So he took care of it this morning. And I said, we're here. We like the melman. Maybe even more so sometimes. Neither snow nor rain or dark of night or any of that stuff will stop us from delivering a show. You know, I didn't need a box for everywhere, teddy. Yeah. Europe, we've recorded in the way. Sunday. We're not going to be stopped by this. We're not going to be stopped by trivial stuff. You know, it's odd choice. And we make a choice to do it. And listen, I had a father. Forget about the boxing part of my life. I had a father that was, he didn't need to be a boxer to teach you what professionalism and toughness was. He got surgery in his 70s, major surgery, and the next day he doesn't stay in our hospital. He goes to the office. Don't eat things. The only concession he made to the surgery was that he had to lay on a couch to take care of the patients for that one day. One day, so a stupid I think wasn't going to slow us down. And again, I had a special guy a good man in ray Mustafi, who did it. And I was so happy to have you guys with me at the garden. It really was. It really was really, we'll talk about it, we'll break it all down, but it was a great night. It was extra great avenue guys there. And haven't Dustin when and again, we'll break his fight downward through the whole x-ray that we do, but to have him there and then have him on the air would be afterwards breaking his fight down in some of the other fights. It was really great. He's a friend of us, but he's just a good person because he's staying to go to the dinner Thursday night. And I got to tell a little funny story. I was thinking about and I always tell rob, get these clips up and I know I love to make comparisons with some movie stuff when it fits and from rocky to that scene. It was a great scene. He's gone to the fate, right? The rematch and on his way to the fight Balboa pulls into the church and he yells up a father come on. A rocky, what are you doing right in Italian? No, he's talking about what are you doing over here? He goes, don't you have a fight? Yeah, yeah, but I just wanted to stop by maybe that you could kind of like grow me down a blessing to make sure like I didn't get too beat up tonight. You know, so I was thinking, I was saying impress for Dustin that I prayed for all my family and all my Friends anyway and I pray for this country to be quite especially lately. That we're going to be okay. But I was praying and that he's going to be okay. Because of the person he is, because of the person he is because of the kind of fight that he was in. These guys always in tough fights because of the kind of fight with another monster, just like him, he's a savage, and so is Chandler. And you know, obviously knowing that he was going to come to the dinner and show that other side to him, you know, the fighter outside the ring. The champion outside the ring, where he's going to help us raise money to help. A lot of people in tough situations. So I was thinking about that and saying, God, please make sure, you know, he's okay. And thank God he's okay. And thank goodness who won. You know, you know, win or lose. He was going to leave it all in that case. That's what Dustin does. That's what a lot of these guys do. What a fight. What around, again, we're x-ray the whole thing. And the last thing I want to say, I was just so special night to have my Sunday. He came in from Vegas, everybody knows he was with the Raiders for 14 years and directors scouting out there towards the end. And to have him fly and he's here for the dinner of course, but to have him fly in and come to the show with me and be there. It was just great. And then to see all the just all the special people that, you know, that are part of the UFC makeup. That to the broadcast, there were just all good people. I mean, they're all competent. They're all real professionals. Tremendous of what they do, Paul Felder, Megan olivi, Brett kamado uncle motto, okamoto. But whatever you want to pronounce it, that's okay. He knows that he's great. And Brian Custer now is a new man over there. He left show time and he's now he's with ESPN. Sounds like showtime wheels are off. Yeah, Anthony Smith, that's true, it does. They have problems. And Antony Smith, people leaving a boat over showtime. But Anthony Smith, all of them, just they're special. Look, we know about Joe Rogan and D.C. and John attic, but the guys that I work with afterwards to do the post fight breakdown. They're just the way you would want everybody to be in any profession.

CBS Sports Eye On College Basketball Podcast

"And it's not like Rick Barnes has never had a fabulous freshman. Just hadn't had one at Tennessee. He coached Kevin Durant at Texas. And Julian Phillips, if you watched the interview on CBS board headquarters, he said, you know, Rick Barnes has a history of coaching great wings and like Kevin Durant is the most obvious example of that. And if you don't think Kevin Durant's steel, the Kevin Durant story still helps Rick Barnes when it comes to recruiting, you're crazy. That comes up all the time. I'm not saying it's a determining factor, but it's a thing that's brought up all the time. There is no getting around the fact that Rick has had a lot of good teams throughout his career, falls short in the NCAA tournament. You can go look it up. It's easy to identify. And that is something that is becoming even with Tennessee defense, part of his story. And I think even Rick would tell you, they need to be better in March. You know, he's had number one teams in top ten teams and top 20 teams, and SEC champions. But he's reached this place where Tennessee fans are like, some, not all. Are like, okay, this is great. This is great. But let's do it in the tournament. We're not doing enough in the tournament. You know, perhaps this will be the type of team that can break through for him, but if you, you know, if you're trying to identify where frustration comes from Tennessee fans, it's rooted in that. They're happy with the way recruiting is going. They seem happy with the way the regular seasons are going. But the postseason success hasn't quite matched the other stuff. Yet, and eventually, you know, that stuff's got to all mesh together, the stuff that happens in November, December, January, February needs to translate to what you're trying to accomplish in March. But undeniably, he has set himself up once again to have a team that's good enough to not only advance in the bracket, but compete for a final four. Adam finkelstein is obviously the director of scouting 24/7 sports. Listen, we know Julian Phillips, but we don't have to lie. We haven't scouted him 50 times. We haven't seen him as much as the recruiting analysts have. So I did want to share what Adam has written about Julian Phillips from an evaluation perspective. Here's what he wrote. While both credible evaluators agree that Julian Phillips is one of the top prospects in the class of 2022 within this range. It is appropriate that there is a fairly diverse set of opinions. It all depends on your criteria because it's potential still exceeds its production. However, that potential is vast. He has positional size skill athleticism and extreme fluidity. He shoots a softball and has all the physical tools necessary to be a competent defender, but he's not close to a finished product. There are still too many games that in without him making his mark in a manner consistent with his abilities. Again, that's from Adam finkelstein, director scouting 24/7 sports Travis branham also with 24/7 sports was on CBS sports headquarters after the announcement. And when Ginny Dale asked him for some player cops at the NBA level, he brought up Trey Murphy. He brought up Michael bridges. In other words, long sort of combo forwards who can comfortably shoot from the perimeter. To be clear, he wasn't predicting he's going to be Trey Murphy or Mikel bridges, just if you're looking for. If you're a Tennessee fan unfamiliar and you're looking for what could theoretically this guy look like, you know, what you're hoping for is a Trey Murphy type player or a Mikhail bridges top player. But it's another big recruiting day for the SEC. Which has had a lot of big recruiting days. Over the past year. Right now, the SEC, if you look at the recruiting rankings class of 2022, Arkansas's second Alabama's third Kentucky's 15th auburn 16th on misses 22nd, Vanderbilt's 23rd. Tennessee doesn't even have a great class. They just got this great prospect, but you know, it's another 5 star guy coming into the SEC. The only league right now that's got more top 25 recruiting classes in the class of 2022 than the SEC is trivia time. Guess it. Say it again. SEC right now has 6 top 25 recruiting classes in 2022. Only one league has more. What league? Oh, man. I can't believe it's a league that is more. I'm going the ACC by default and I don't like my answer. That's the right answer. It is the headline, of course, by duke at number one, but I mean, the SEC is, they are locked and loaded right now. They have got incredible coaches in that league. They're getting incredible players in that league. And when you got incredible coaches, an incredible players that's usually a great mixture to make sure you get incredible basketball teams that can not only compete for national championships, but with them. Last thing here, I was inspired to look up, I do the, I do that thing where coaches get hired, I wait four years, and then I grade the hires, you know, actually once they've submitted work and I can actually grade them one on what they've done. So I did it in 2019 for Barnes. My Rick Barnes hire in 2019 was an a minus. By the way, if you're watching on YouTube, you saw not a YouTube. Go ahead and nudge that like.

Chad Ford's NBA Big Board

"It's not better when you have Kyrie for any amount of games. No one's going to feel sorry for the Lakers. That is part of what makes this such a compelling story. Follow locked on today wherever you get podcasts. It's free and available on all platforms. Imagine that. Aloha, you're listen to the chat for its NBA big board. On the lockdown podcast network, I'm with Rafael Barlow and we're going to be talking March Madness and NBA draft prospects to watch out for. Here we go. All right, he's Rafael Barlow, director scouting for NBA big board. I'm Chad Ford. We're gonna try to get through this podcast today, Internet connection is as great as we'd normally like it to be, but we're gonna try to get through it right now and talk about some March Madness and especially what Rafael Barlow and I are looking at in March Madness, which is NBA draft prospects, and who might be the guys that are gonna really help their draft stock this year. Where I feel I'm gonna start with just a general question should March Madness affect the player's draft stock. They played 30 college games. They played all these high school games, should one or two or three or four games in the tournament boost or destroy a player's draft stock. You know, I think it's hard to take out the human element of it, you know? It's easy to remember the last thing that we saw. So if a guy had 30 points on, I don't know, 15 of 18 field losses hard to erase that out of your memory. And you may think like, okay, he's trending upward. I think in some cases, you know, like let's say if it's a Keegan Murray, if he has a bad NCAA tournament, his resume for the year should speak for itself. But if it's someone like, let's say it's like Alex fudge from LSU and he has like this performance where he's 5 blocks, four steals, locks up a Johnny Davis, then I think that will help him out more than someone that we've seen get consistent 30 minutes over the course of the season. So I want to say yes and no, I think it just varies in depends on who the player is. I think that's a great point. I'm generally a guy that says that it shouldn't matter. That big board shouldn't be jumping up and down based off of, you know, what a player does in the tournament, but there's been enough research, I think, done in this area that I think people generally see that there is a tick up. And I think it's partly recency bias. These are the last times that you see the player play competitively. And also I think it's a function of you start to get NBA coaches and general managers more engaged in the scouting process at this time of the year than maybe early in the year. Now, NBA scouts, they've been deeply engaged all year, and some general managers are just like their scouts. They're out on the road all the time, scouting whatever really depends on the team. But for some general managers, it's just more recently maybe the conference tournaments and now March Madness where they're really paying attention carefully for the first time. And so their body of work that they're seeing is more limited than like the NBA scout that's just out on the road 24/7 all year long. And so I do think that that's partly why we see this bump. Every year. But this is the last time we're going to see players play 5 on 5 unless unless they play in the combine or at Portsmouth or something else like that, but it's just a different scenario. And so yeah, it's a great opportunity for players. I absolutely think so. So let's talk about the guy first of all in this segment. That I think is already number one on some people's boards. But I absolutely think he's got the best shot of improving his resume for the number one pick and that's chat home grammar Gonzaga because if there's been a knock on homegrown, it's that he's been playing the West Coast conference. And while there's some good teams there, they had four tournament teams, or maybe three tournament teams. In the tournament, there weren't dominant big men that chat homeground was playing against every night. He wasn't playing against the elite bigs. That he might be playing at against in the NBA. And it seems like the tournament just did us a favor. I have to feel like there was some draft mix on the bracket because they give us a potential matchup with Jalen Duran in the second round during was the number one ranked prospect in his class before reclassifying. And then in the sweet 16, he could be up against Jalen Williams, a sophomore at Arkansas that I really like as well and is definitely a really good matchup. And then they could meet duke in the elite 8 with Mark Williams and palo banquero there. We might get a rematch of those two guys who are ranked one and two on boards. And so I really feel like the committee did us a favor here for those of us that like really wanted to see Chet go against the top bigs that are out there. I really think they lined up really nicely for him. So I guess my question for you is let's start with durin Chet. Those are two really different players with a much more physical, strong, already looks like an NBA vet. But more of a traditional center game and then you've got Chet who's the skinny unicorn. You can do everything. How did you see that matchup going? Also knowing that, you know, drew Timmy is also a center for Gonzaga and so at times it's going to be Timmy and Jalen Durham as well. But I'm assuming we're going to see them matched up at some point if Memphis makes it to the second round. What do you think about that matchup? Yes, that's just like you said. It's a totally different style. You got this physical presence in Duran and then you got Chet who's a buck 95. Yeah, I mean, I think that it's a situation where I think Chad is going to come out on top and that matchup just because he has better players around him and he has guards. But it's going to be interesting to see at least what I'll be paying the most attention to is the rebounding. Grab a rebound against Doran when he's boxed out. Is he going to be boxed out under the basket? Like we saw earlier in the season. I think Duran is going to have some trouble scoring just because and I actually went to the Memphis game on Saturday and you could see how hard he works and how he fights for post position and he sprints down the floor, but they just can't get him the ball because he doesn't have the shooters. Now it's going to make it even tougher. Chet's ridiculous wingspan denied him the ball in the post. And I'm going to be looking for to see that and then seeing how hard Duran's motor runs after 18 to 20 minutes when he's only got the ball in the pulse two times or how much effort is and I say that he doesn't bring a lot of effort, but it's just natural to, you know, if you realize you're not going to get any post touches or every shot that you get is because you had to grab an offensive rebound and create it. It can kind of make your motor run a little slow. So that's what I'll be paying attention to. The overall it's a great matchup. It's a matchup that guys like me and you are going to be paying attention to. And the marketing behind it is going to be great. That's if we get the match up, that's the thing about the NCAA tournament. We all have a tendency to look ahead and we know every year someone gets upset. But I think it's going to be a good matchup. And if dorin can actually come out and I mean, I think he had a 2020 game in the conference tournament. And if he could put up one of those games, then I think that could really help his stock maybe bump him up a few spots. But it's going to be tough. I agree, a big tournament for Durham could put him right in the fourth or 5th spot in this draft. Where I see him kind of a little bit later in the top ten. It's not a big jump, but you could see him, you know, maybe leapfrogging AJ Griffin, Keegan Murray, you know, guys like that. Maybe even Jay naive jumping ahead of those guys with a big, with a big game. All right, that's one. We're going to have to, again, forecast again. Memphis is a 9th seed, by the way. And so it's going to be an upset for even for them to get there, but a small upset..

Mayock the gm. The raiders came out and said are a playoff team. Didn't gary to be a playoff team. We were saying. Jon gruden should be on the hot seat and robs like if they don't make the playoffs each should be fired. This'll be your four years. What are your thoughts on that. Yeah he needed the vegas strip. I know cannabis is legal out there. He probably you probably gotta go. Because that makes no sense there That team is not even ran. The right way and The way he's come in from nfl network trying to be a part of director scouting and all that stuff. They're not even the best team in their division. And you still have to worry about the cheese You still have to worry about a los angeles chargers of The raider. I don't take them serious at all. Yeah the whenever you give. Coach ten years is just a lot to ask and it just didn't make any sense that tore you. Gotta you gotta you gotta show your worth and the nfl. We know the league turns over quickly. Right coaches can make a difference. So it'll be interesting to see how this thing plays out in in oakland. But let's talk about cam newton. How surprised were you about cam. Newton getting cut in mack. Jones made to stara shock that all when they signed him last year. We all knew that was the bandai. No cameras there just until they figured out what was going to go on. I would players opting out because you you signed cam newton and have eight or nine guys on defense you know to sit out and now. They went out and drafted matt jones with the with the first round pick. You know. i figured he was on borrowed time. There's something he can't allow someone do is get reps over you and it really showed Matt comes from a system where Bill belichick and nick saving great brands. And he's been grown playing games where he can manage it. You don't have to go out to be a suicide in new england. Offense on the avenue is just managed the game hand the ball and and keep the guy head of the sayings and you know i just feel like over time him. New talent is just somewhat diminished. You know he was so gifted as athlete being able to run. You know hurdle over gaza. I felt like he'd never learned how to play quarterback he was just a great athlete. And now you know. He ended up getting beat out by somebody that plays but this a better because they know the fundamental then ultimately it came by the minute but so tori. Do you think he's gonna get picked up as a backup somewhere or you think he's done at least this year. I think he's gonna be on a show for a while being on vaccinated you know. Obviously that's his personal rally but you know when you the leader to team. They need you to be in there you know..

"He is up to wide receiver. Fifty at that's ten eleven. Turn ten ten right now. He's going right behind fellow rookie. Jalen waddell going ahead of henry rugs russell gauge and darnall mooney lodge. Moore's getting some hype is warranted in new york for mr moore When when he was drafted to the jets took a deep breath. Because this is one of my favorite players you could. You could put them in with tony Neither of them with an initial landing spot That i had hoped for. But then i took a look at the landscape to look at people that are there. You gotta defensive-minded coach who's coming in but the draft show all offensive skill set Building on that offense. You've got a rookie quarterback you've got a rookie wide receiver and you've got a rookie running back. They're not acting like rookies. If you look at the press. They're showing up early working hard allies. You're more guts. Negative attention In the game people follow esi. Football can remember when he pretended to be dog urinating indian-zone versus mississippi story. He had answer to that through the combine process. And i think it's matured him very nicely he he's become somewhat of an old soul wrapped up in five foot ten inch hundred eighty pound body. You know the veteran players talk positively about him. He and the quarterback's seem to have things going early Fancy players probably don't care but there's a director scouting at the new york jets named joan car and he's doing a very good job is reflected in this draft was reflected last year stressed There's a guy named phil savage and in bulk you've heard of him. He's on the nfl network. Used to ruin the senior bowl. And he what he's got is a good relationship across with administration across the southeastern conference senior being in mobile alabama. So they know the players they know the players on the field and also feel kind of players. That are going to play for coach. Robert salads jets are kind of players that you want to root for so if you draft this player..

You have made a little of lost a little. I don't pretend to be some genius. But i'm not breaking down the financials whatever some pdf files that the finance guys read. I listened to a couple. Podcasts this podcast. I found pretty good. Actually it's called animal spirits. It's a couple of guys that worked for this dude on. Cnbc josh brown. I just find it enjoyable. Just kind of just some of the basic stuff. That's going on in finance world. Like hey i'm usually a vodka soda guy. But you're pot inspired me to have a tequila soda fucking game changer. Appreciate it. I agree actually might have a big vodka company partnering with us so i'll go back to being a guy put. I'ma vodka tequila soda. Those are my drinks part of it. Because it's just an easy one to cut some calories because i can become a fat ass fast. Who would you take to start your franchise justin herbert or josh allen. A good question. I mean just. I love justin herbert. But he's played one season with no fans and he was remarkable. I would lean josh allen. But i i wouldn't go wrong with either guy. I seen josh allen play more. I've seen him in multiple playoff games. I just have more information. I think it's really. That's always have more information on josh l. And i love justin herbert any individual thoughts on. Thebault from oregon. I think most people expect him to be like a top ten pick. He's got a big season. And i think it oregon. They're expecting big seasons. He's a guy that i i haven't i can't pretend like studied him but i've watched enough oregon and he's a huge recruit possibilities. A top ten pick got a question for you. Would you come back for a full time. Job in the nfl. If you did what job would it be. The answer is no would not. I like what i do too much now. I own everything. I do on the boss of myself the other. It wouldn't be an option. I have the things. I've said over the years on podcasts. On twitter if someone hired me to be like a. I wouldn't even be interested in but let's say hypothetically someone wanted to hire me to be like an assistant director scout all over the country. They would bring up things that the reporters in that area would bring up things. I said more than likely about that coach about players on that team. It would be too controversial. I'm in higher -able in the nfl given just things. I've said on the backlash that would come and depending on the team. Maybe crushed the owner. I dunno. I've said a lot of things i've been talking now for you know since pretty consistently since two thousand fourteen so we got eight years of flooding fly my greatest advantage once i left league because i didn't give shit. I didn't want to go back. So i didn't hold back. Part of not hold knack. Is you know you're never going back now. People make money in the nfl. I never did. I think the most i ever made was my last year in philly. What made like fifty grand. I just wouldn't pay the bills now probably that now. Obviously you know guys make hundred thousand two hundred thousand some scouts right..

"To get to the ball mark and all the time and effort by the whole staff and then before should not be able to draft and sign a guy, you know, go through the development. Process, which is, you know, anywhere from 35 years. They get a guy up here. So everybody that touches that player you take a lot of pride in finally Bill. It's such an important time leading up to the draft this summer. Assed, far as the Rockies scouting department. How will that How will that be impacted with your now becoming interim GM? No doubt Bill we appreciate the time all the best to you is the interim general manager. Thank you. Thanks my voice of the Rockies Mike Rice with Rocky's interim general manager Bill Schmidt, who has said he does not think this needs to be a rebuilding year for the team. He also said he would take the GM job full time if offered to him. Yeah, I wonder when they're gonna make that decision I would think sooner rather than later. Well, if they did sound like it was gonna be the case for the rest of the season, at least initially, and maybe that's before they decided to point you know, Bill Schmidt, but I mean, initially, they said all the way to the end of the year as they've, as he said. They're very familiar with him, and he's steady hand during that tumultuous time. Two in a row. That's mighty to there we go. 7 29, We gotta celebrate every little victory. "Then you know the whole time. I kept going the every practice that i could. Bill burqa at the time before he left the jazz and joining the lakers in the eighties. He had a scouting service for colleges called burke of us and were they hire outside scouts. And anytime. I had a chance. I would go with bill. He sorted taught me the ins and outs of scouting what they were looking for both from a exit. Oh stamp point and from player personnel standpoint. And so i just kept trying to as much as i could on the basketball side while i was working on the business side and in nineteen eighty seven frank. Layden was the coach and general manager team. And he said you know. I know you've always wanted to get the basketball. And i think i'm gonna hire a video guy and he said you know. I could hire a coach with more experience. But you know you you've showed a lot of interest in our give you a crack at it and so i got into that next thing. I was made an assistant coach and You know mainly concentrating on scouting the upcoming teams in the opponents and still doing video work. That's kind of how i got into basketball. And from there they said well. You've done a good job here now. We need help in the personnel department. Could you go out scouts. So i took on an additional title director scouting added to my sister coaching title. And did that took two thousand one when benn ver noggin. I'd never been recruited for kiki vandeweghe who now works in the league office and was a great player in the league. He came to me and said you know. I'm gonna be the gm of the nuggets in. I need experience in. You've been around for while it's nice way to say that. I was older by them but he asked me to come and be the assistant. Gm the nuggets. Which i did and five years and probably looking back it was. It was great experience but it wasn't the jazz that had been my life and in in all of that and so it was quite a difference. And i'm proud of our compliments that in a while i was in denver. I worked with great people in some of these names. You may know with the nuggets. Tommy sheppard who now runs. The washington wizards messiah jury was with us as a scout. Who's the president of toronto. Jeff weltman was the other assistant. Gm who's at orlando. You know besides kiki so you know. It was the continued learning experience. But it wasn't jazz and it wasn't maybe the same commitment you know. Denver's big broncos city they also have the rockies they have the avalanche you know in utah. Jazz are the only major professional Major league sports. Now they do have major league soccer now but at the time you know..

Just i like watch it and they'd be like all right and i know you're not gonna watch it but i'm gonna send a link i'm going to say because that just makes it easy for them and then because i was super illegally watching movies back in the day to definitely more into it now but especially legally download movies. I still do. But i used to but now we as you know like you said before as we've done with our teen years we can kind of reflect on it a little bit more and understand a little bit more what it's about And so the basis of it was what you said. It was a kid donnie. You know figuring out his identity basically through A really tough process. Which kind of sucks for. But what happens is you know. You're established that. "Actually start talking about that it create a level of relevancy. So from that standpoint, I do believe in one way, shape or form. He's going to be affiliated with eighteen. No, none. None. That's a very slick thing. You just said that less is what do you mean affiliated because you could be affiliated with the team as a player personnel director scout anything like that. What are you saying? Here's what somebody's going to do. I asked that record Glasser. Somebody's going to bring him in. Slowly, they're going to hire met to be an advisor to the owner to the general manager associate coach. And then before you knew it. He's going to continue to get more opportunities with that French reason, why was questioning Jalen Mike Greenberg is because I was saying there's no way in hell. They do. Rick Pitino is going to be a head coach again in the National Basketball satiate, and it's never have. I don't think it's ever going to happen. But it's not that he doesn't deserve. What happened in college? Jalen, right. That's one of the collegiate level. Clearly he's qualified and when you consider the up temple style that we see take place in the NBA. That's certainly something that Rick Petito, situa mastered. Yeah. And not not just on the collegiate level. But in this time in the NBA as well. The problem is. Jalen bring this up, but he'll not in that formation. When I say this in my opinion, today's youngsters that are running organizations the age of the analytics and Owen, they don't want to bring in a coach who is established hall of Famer credible. Winds national champion or whatever because they're threatened that their their power is going to be compromised.
