"He scored every four times and heineke made him look really good in the preseason. Because they must have had some kind of like backup quarterback to buck back applied receiver connection. I really think hynick is gonna look for him. And he's game-breaker. He's got really good talent. When he gets the ball in his hands. He's very underrated as wide receiver. I think that hynick is gonna look his a lot. And I think that Gina will be very happy. Even if the Panthers win on Sunday because I think that Samuel at least get a fair a fair amount of touches that'll make them look good. Well, there you have it for me. I am a Mexican to go with. A name. We discuss a little bit earlier that his Dion Jones. I think hiding new chiller Heinecke. Although I think that was very very good pick. I'm going with Jones simply because when it has come to matching up with running backs. Guys that can execute both as runners and as receivers like McCaffrey can in the past Dion Jones has been the equalizer for the falcons defense, and he is back. He did have a little bit of a rough outing against Iran ah in giving up a touchdown. But if the if the Panthers gonna lean some McCaffrey, I think Dion Jones's can be critical to keeping that matchup from being exploited. So Dion Jones is gonna be the guy for me in that matchup. And with that we're gonna go to our predictions for Sunday though in the upcoming sadness injury bowl. We we aren't quite sure what we want this game. I'm not sure what I want out of this game. I'm sort of like Schrodinger I want both the falcons to win and to have a high draft pick in. No that's not possible Gina I'm gonna go the first with your predictions. How do you think this game is gonna play on Sunday? I think that the falcons are the team that we saw those five weeks. I think that beating the cardinals that does not give me any confidence that actually when in Carolina. And so I'm gonna say twenty one seven. Brian. Turn over to you, sir. How do you see this game playing on Sunday? I think that it will be thirty one to twenty one victory for the Carolina Panthers because they will have a dimension of their offense. They haven't had with north Turner at the helm since probably like week four, and I think Taylor heineke will throw three touchdowns. And I think one of them will go to Curtis Samuel there. You. I think it it's it's tough to win two games against the same team in the same division. Year-over-year? The falcons did win the earlier one. I do think the Panthers will take away this one. I think this may be a first on the falcons podcast. We've got all three people predicting a Panthers win. I think it will be close simply because the falcons defense is playing a little bit better. And the Panthers missing Cam Newton still still see this playing out for the Panthers. I'm gonna say seventeen fourteen low-scoring relatively low scoring game with Panthers getting home win. So with that said, Bryan, thank you again for joining some podcast. But it is it has been great to have you on. We've missed talking with you. We've got to do this more often. But while it's tell our listeners where they can find you in what you guys have gone up. Well, you can find me at Brian ever sleep on Twitter, but honestly anymore. More mostly running the cat scratch reader handle, which is at scratch at cat scratch reader without the last e so it's cat scratch reader R E A D R. So that's the handle I'm running so feel free to check that out. Once once heineke throws his first touchdown on Sunday. I will be all over the place. So. Check. Other than that. I'll be writing the Monday morning optimists, which is actually our. I guess our biggest piece every week. It's usually has the highest traffic..

"Talk about bad memories by. But so if that's that's probably the biggest name that. That's absent for the Cowboys on defense. But they they've got the reigning NFC defensive player of the week plan linebacker farm. So amazingly doesn't feel like that big of a deal. Yeah. And I think that's something that many falcons fans may not be as familiar with in in in fairness in the NFC south in going up against Leuke cly two times a year Thomas Davis. We hear a lot about the linebacker play. Obviously Dion Jones on their own team who attention could be back. This game is very very good linebacker, but the Cowboys arguably have two very exciting young wine backers in Layton Vander, h and Jalen Smith Smith, obviously was taken in last year's draft in the vendor. She was taken this year. What is what is your take on these two linebackers? Do you think that they're being overlooked in the conversation for best linebacking duo Inle? It's really hard to overlook a member of the Cowboys. Have happened. But I think you're right. I mean, you know, people think of sort of the pristine linebacking in the NFL, I think Carolina is up there with Thomas in Keithly. But a Jalen Smith his story is certainly well known his, you know, his his route that he took after his horrible injury in the ball in the Cavs take a chance on him, and he really has made them, you know, look smart for drafting him in essentially, so his latent Vander, you know, people really wanted to take the sinful circle here Calvin Ridley ninety overall pick. And so when the Cowboys took late and Vander ash Cowboys fans everywhere said, they were reaching this was horrible federa, and he has turned into he looks a lot like fad from blue mountain state any. Why just like he was born out of a mountain. He is on fire. And so the two of them together ascending at this point in time is very excited. Geeta your is. We look at this Macha, obviously disregarding the bottle in Cleveland from last week the falcons offense for the most part has been back to or close to the two thousand sixteen forum of of just scoring nearly it will this company's defense may be win bigger challenges that they've faced this year. How do you think they stack up you feel like this is a game where they're going to have to lean on Matt Ryan's arm to they need to get the running game going with you feel like is the the key here for the offense going to have to really get the run game going to balance things out. That's been a challenge for this team. Even though the offense has been spectacular and sell in being able to establish some kind of ground game. What certainly help opened things up for the pass. In a do. Find it interesting because I think watching draft night almost everybody thought that Calvin Ridley was shoe in for the Cowboys and when they passed on him in. He was sitting there for Lanta. I don't know about you Gina, but it might initial reaction was oh, my God, this may actually happen. And this is gonna be the worst possible outcomes could make and I think in hindsight the Cowboys got a fantastic player. But arguably the falcons have gotten another explosive weapon next to Julio. So with that mind, I mean, just looking back now over the past nine games. What do you think it has meant to the Cowboys or I'm sorry to the falcons offense to have someone like Calvin Ridley opposite of Julio Jones to to maybe draw some coverage or to take advantage of those one on ones that receivers often see when Julio's on the other side. Yeah. I think that, you know, looking at what book in the big picture of when the falcons traded up for holy. I think that this was what they envisioned with Roddy. And then didn't really materialize to the same degree. But Calvin Ridley is just spectacular. He is very talented. He does have some drops. That was always the knock on him. But he runs really Chris browse, you know, I think that he's just such a great addition because he has the combination of speed athleticism and has route running ability that forces teams to account for him. And I think has body of work so far since he's been in the league justifies that..

"But this game is in Atlanta. I'll be there as we've talked about. And so far the falcons have played five games at home this season. And in four of them have scored over thirty points. So what is it about Atlanta? I mean. You've been there. I don't know. I know you're going there this weekend. So you'll have to tell me the vibe of the city. I you know that building it's been so long. And you know, I go back when I my history of the falcons all members losing matter where we played, but rather different. And I will I will say this Cleveland is a better team. They were last year. And I was able to go back and watch some of the highlights of the game. And I tell you what I'm more watch Baker Mayfield. I notice Atlantic. The Cowboys game the moral Baker Mayfield Baker Mayfield gotten better and for rookie quarterback. But you know, the thing with the falcons they were on a winning streak of three. And then they lose to Cleveland and the defense when you watch this team from last year compared to this year, they're not as good a team their thirtieth. The over all defense. I give up a ton of yards passing and cowboy fans are thinking about what Dallas could do this weekend. It'll able to run the football team like land. Now saying that again, they get more energy. They have a tendency to play better at home and often simply they still have the really big weapons on offense receivers and their second in passing six overall toll offense. So. Oh, that's a narrative of their team right now. It's really interesting. You know, I I've never bought into personally the idea that being home and not being homeless this huge difference. But we have seen that a lot in dome teams, obviously the falcons new stadium isn't your classic dome, but it is generally dome. And so I don't know what it is about the falcons, but you mentioned that their defense has been playing down this season compared to last. They've got injuries everywhere. I mean, they're banged up. Dion Jones, I know trying to come back this. I don't think he'll play this Sunday, which is a break for the Cowboys, certainly. And even offensively. There's no devante Freeman. Although there was no devante last year for Atlanta against the Cowboys early on got hurt. So I guess let's start there. Let's start with last year. Tony have you ever seen? Did you ever watch lost that LTV show? Oh, yeah. It's it's funny. There's a guy that works out at my gym. And every time I seen. It looks Zach like the main character the moment the beard, all the big hair. His name is. Going blank on his name his character. But yes, watch loss before. Right. So I didn't watch the whole thing. If I'm being honest, I got like four seasons in and it was kind of losing some steam for me. And I I was talking about it. And they told me how it ended. And I was really glad that I didn't waste that time. But one of the more famous scenes from that show, one of the more famous than television history is when the main character's name might be Jack if I'm not mistaken and Jack is talking to one of the female characters. And he says we have to go back and he's talking about the island..
Matthew’s top waiver wire adds are headlined by Dak Prescott, Josh Adams and Anthony Miller
"Match against the falcons, and I've got him a fifteen you've got him a ten. This is the ultimate matchup. It really is right now about as good of a match because you could find in the NFL. Yeah. Let's start there. Seven of the past e quarterbacks to face the falcons have finished QB nine or better. Unreal. Seven out of eight have been at least Cuba nine all have been top fifteen this season. Overall, seventy eight percent of quarterbacks facing the falcons have finished top ten that is worse than the NFL by far that rate for the falcons, they have just a livered to goods for opposing quarterbacks. Look at Dak Prescott and a little closer coming off a big game against the eagles, which I won't talk about specifically. But he's been a top eight fantasy quarterback during three of his past four outings is fourteen offensive touchdowns this season only five interceptions. And again, this is a run heavy. Cowboys offense. Yes, they've been for a long time. But it's not as run heavy. As they've been in years past throwing their little bit, more balanced. It's not like Seattle, which is full on running. It's a little more balanced. So that's a good sign. So I do I think he's the streaming option for sure this week. The only reason I have my reservations running back are nothing to counter what you said, Mike because you make very reasonable points there. It's merely this first of all he's got three rushing touchdowns in his last four games. So call point seven five rushing touchdowns per game. If you were to project him for more or less than that, it would be less. It would certainly be less. Yes. Sometimes when you watch Dak he's like the most frustrating player to watch with Rover. Right. Because like he's just not the most natural throwers in the NFL. And that's a very kind way of putting not generous. He's he's not. He's not a particularly good throw over the football. That's what it comes down to. He has been rather officiant recently though, over his past two games. And maybe it's it's a sm-. It's a small samples as what it really is. But if you want to buy into the Amari Cooper is helping him hype train sixty seven point seven percent completion percentage two weeks ago. Seventy two point two percent completion percentage this past week. And although he's been running the football really effectively. Terms of touchdown scored only twenty rushing yards over his past two weeks. So it's not like he's getting a bunch of designed read option attempts that we have seen in previous junctures of his career. You gotta eighteen point eight points verse for projected fantasy outlook this week. Put it. I'm gonna use them in a couple of nugget you. Yeah. I, you know, I'm sitting here talking to myself out of it. But I'm going to talk myself into it by Sunday morning. You're just gonna flip back and Watson that might be worrying that by the end of the week. It's just such a good matchup. And yes Dion Jones is coming back. But that that off which is great for that defense, but doesn't heal all the woes still obviously, no gala Nielsen Robert still no for karnal. Alan still a several other injuries that have decimated that defense so far this season you, and I are having a conversation about the show about like just the idea that like so much of our thought process has to be process over results and don't look backwards forwards but looking backwards at the Atlanta quarterback points allowed is impossible to ignore. I mean week two and on. Here's the number of points scored by opposing quarterbacks against the falcons twenty seven point six forty four point four twenty four point eight twenty one point three thirty point seven twenty point seven sixteen point four twenty two point six take away the best and take the worst. And it's all scores. North of twenty points. Yeah. So it's like, it's hard to mess up. Someone will at some point.

"Ticket b-e-n-s-o-n Dion Jones who didn't play today. Dion Jones who else in play today. Qiando Neil Wilson played a day. Tap mckinley. Big thing is how bad is the Ricardo Allen injury. Nationally guys may not realize how good this guy is she's the quarterback of the defense. He is absolutely necessary. He could be the sports desk guy on the said so get McKinley back and hopefully Ricardo Alison hurt. Too bad. I think the falcons left no problem getting back on track there at home once again next week against the Bengals finally, you know, this this division is very interesting after the first three weeks you have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at two zero after an impressive win to open the season in New Orleans. You have the Panthers and the saints at two and one and they're the falcons at one and two it doesn't seem as if there's a lot of margin for error in this division last this year. Is a fascinating division. Perhaps the most fascinating division top to bottom in all of sports. And I say that's no Yankees and Red Sox fan. So will the Heo east is the best sports. No top to bottom. This is the most competitive division perhaps in all of sports. Remember it was about a four or five year period where the tune finish in last place came back and finish in first place. The very next year. All these franchises are well run. They've all got good people running their organizations that lying is a great quarterback. I mean, you've heard Cameron Jordan talking about Matt Ryan he thought he was play. Great. I in some of the talk he had to me before he came on with you. He was talking about how amazing he thought Matt Ryan was you know, you're going up against drew Brees. You know, Cam kept saying, you know, he's go. He's the go. You know, he was joking because he knows Brady has all the Super Bowl rings. But certainly if you see drew Brees year-on-year else, the guy is utterly. Amazing. And sometimes the most special player in the game is going to lead his team to the win. Jeff, thanks so much for a couple of minutes. Great job all the way around today. Look forward to talking to you again soon. Thank you, rich. Hi, Jeff Zell in Atlanta where the falcons falls to the saints in overtime. The most stunning game of the day was in Minnesota where the Vikings suffered their first loss of the season losing badly to the bills twenty seven to six it was over and over early. An Eric Nelson. Was there is back with us. Eric, welcome back. How are you? Yeah. He rich. I'm still trying to sort out what I just saw earlier today at US Bank stadium here. Exactly, right. It was shock and awe. Buffalo limps into Minneapolis. Going to. I mean, they got Saturday Baltimore weak one. They didn't look too good luck in orchard Park New York against the chargers. Davis left at halftime. There were a lot of reasons to think the Minnesota Vikings would go away the Buffalo Bills. But all of that gets blown up to smithereens because the Vikings dominated my I mean dominated I don't even know if that that's that that really covers it. I mean, it was it was shocking in every way. How does a team that is so good have such a letdown? As the way they did today. And that's the question from a war road known out here in the great state of Minnesota. Because a lot of people are perplexed are the Vikings overrated. You don't wanna? Maybe it was just one of the vices. Maybe they did take the Buffalo Bills. Maybe they were looking ahead to Thursday night. Los angeles. I guess the powerhouse France. I don't know because they didn't even matter. Buffalo Bills territory offensively in the first half. How does that happen? I mean, Kirk cousins, you spend eighty four million dollars guaranteed three your deal on this guy. This is not supposed to be the way it plays out. Because it's had a rough day turned it over twice. Buffalo's defense was very efficient. Gerry Hewson, Lorenzo Alexander? Recovered fumbles in that first half that led to scores. That'd be picked later in the game that Milano off election, and I thought the defense under the Leslie Frazier. How 'bout this Leslie Frazier? Former Minnesota Vikings head coach the defensive coordinator now with the Buffalo Bills under head coach Sean McDermott comes back in Minneapolis. And he puts out a skiing literally bottled up the Minnesota Vikings. They had no running game. They were forced to throw it probably a lot more earlier than they would have liked Alvin cook play, but I don't think that would have mattered. And let's not forget on the other side shady McCoy did not play for the Buffalo Bills. Chris I had a fifty five yard catch deepened in Minnesota. Territory into the red zone. And this is Josh Allen. I I gotta tell you. He looked impressive confident swagger tough. I talked to some of the bills people after the game and their locker room. And and they all said, you know, he won the room over when he literally jumped over Anthony Barr on a third-down scramble to get a first down anyone airborne and your bar. And I think, you know, everybody on that sideline said, whoa. This guy's in it to win it, and that's up lifting. Is there a Buffalo Bills player? Coach again as a pertains to Alan. What was the thing that impressed? You most about him outside of that that one display of athleticism. I would say that he's six five and he looks like a quarterback that comes right out of central casting. I mean, if you were gonna make a movie about a quarterback this guy fits the Bill, and he had a great career, Wyoming. We heard a lot about him entering the graph along with you know, darnold Rosen Mayfield. And some of the other guys were Mark Jackson that that part's impressive. He's got the skill set. I thought though his his will to win is fortitude, his confidence and again that top this. He was like a throwback quarterback. Watching old joke happen the Minnesota Vikings quarterback way back in the day. That's where he used to do hurdle. Over players, you know, sell his soul to get a win. And I think the other teams guys on your feed off of that is you know, it's only one game for Josh Allen. But it has to be a confidence builder for the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen. Because remember the Vikings. The perception is they haven't top five or at least the top defense. Now a lot of us in Minnesota. Are wondering about that. Because if you go back to the playoffs there. The second half against New Orleans and Minnesota miracle game. They weren't very good. It's just a miracle to win that one. They got battered by the eagles in Philadelphia in the NFC title game. And they have been parcel parts. They weren't dominating in San Francisco. They give twenty nine last week in the title, and they give up twenty seven day to the Buffalo Bills of all in all the Minnesota Vikings. It's baffling to the fan base to try to figure out how good are they are they overrated. What's going to happen because rich their next two games after the LA Rams at Philadelphia? They could be an in an early hole if they can't get one or two of those without question as much as I said, the NFC south is wild. How about the NFC north with the Vikings and Packers both one one and one. Yeah. The lions at Owen to going into tonight against the patriots. And then the other part of it. Yeah. The bears, you know, they look to go to two and one this afternoon, but right now trailing fourteen to three Eric thanks so much for a couple of minutes again. Great job all day today. All right. Thanks. Rich Eric Nelson in Minnesota where the Vikings suffering their first lost twenty seven to six after giving up seventeen first quarter points to Josh Allen. And the bills who looked terrific throughout the day right now, the Seahawks have just added their lead. They lead the Cowboys seventeen to three and they go to the half the cardinals in front of the bears. Fourteen three at the half and the Rams into the third quarter leading the chargers. Twenty eight to thirteen in the battle of L A. Johnny McDonnell will join me for the final two hours. We'll take a closer look at the Sunday and Monday night games. As we roll on right here on eye on.

"The headline from the Atlanta Journal constitution linebacker Dion Jones. Falcon, placing linebacker Dion Jones on injured reserve, and they already lost safety Kiani meal to ACL. What does this Jones injury mean as well? Young linebacker. One of the one of the better linebackers in the league, in my opinion, the way he can do everything for that defense, it's a huge loss, especially on top of killing Neil, compare this to Seattle's defense. Okay. Let's think of the old school Seattle defense right now you're losing Earl Thomas and you're losing Bobby wag. These are those two players played like that that much importance or Kim chancellor type add safety with Kiel o.'neil. But the leader of that defense, the signal callers so much. I understand the next man up mentality, but you're gonna need to gain them in to replace these players at the safety position and the linebacker this defense is in trouble. Well, those elite named she called out to put a little on those players. I believe in Jones and Neil. For me, SBN dot com. This headline coming from our own Adam Schefter Greg Olsen plans to rest the foot, a few weeks play the remainder of the season. Look, this is tricky John because this is the same foot. He injured last year, but what does this mean for the Panthers and that offense? Well, it was all of this. You loss, you know, I know what Cam would Greg means to camp. In the past game a below we'll say is the Panthers are way this year the Chris man owners either they signed in free agency. They drafted a tight in, so they're not going to be white is devastated this season. They were last season, but I'm happy that Greg still got an opportunity to come back. It's good for him and I know it'll be important for the panther they had, unfortunately, the opportunity to get used to this, you know, he missed most of last season, so they've done it before teddy will move on. Finally to our final headline Seahawks wide receiver. Doug Baldwin may miss a couple of weeks with a knee injury. This too. ESPN dot com. He missed about a month of training camp because of a knee injury. But you know, it appears the Seahawks are optimistic teddy the more of an emphasis on Brandon Marshall in Tyler Lockett, those type of receivers in defensively, you know, you're in a slug fest for Marshall now because of Baldwin their best receivers, gone marshals, the slug fest, lock as deep threat and you gotta get over the top for him. But Doug Baldwin was the one that can sort of do both. He was crafty, I mean, sure. Handed Russell Wilson trusted him. Seattle meeting these leaders to be on the field to help them in this sort of. I don't know retool mo- that they may be in that Carol's talking about just lost another step to doing too, and that makes it more difficult when you're trying to build something that looks a little bit different. Listen, we did pretty well twenty down four to go. I got my money's on us here as we cover all thirty two teams. We can take care for no. Yeah, confidence here. Fellas we can take care of the final fourteen. We've covered all thirty two teams today on NFL lot. Listen times topping, Oakland. How about this from Lindsey Jones with the athletic apparently Jon Gruden said a skunk got moose in the locker room, and he says, she asked to see it and he said, well, you don't have to see it's gone. You know, you just sort of know that that's fair enough for teams to go do not sleep on Adrian Peterson, please. If you need a running back on your fantasy team, get him because he's ready to go. Joe Ramsey got the cardinals up next to have a chance to put their foot down in the NFC west, especially with time. Girly having one hundred yards can do it again against the cardinals. This week. Coach number Broncos went on and got a quarterback. Now, you know, they got receivers like Emmanuel. Sanders, Maria's Thomas Lobb case keenum Jimmy Garoppolo started his career seven now to the patriots in the five finally got a loss. Let's go see what he could do.

"Ross transaction, Tuesday in the NFL means a lot of things to discuss on a Wednesday. Let's start in the NFC south where the Atlanta Falcons signed defensive end. Stephen means while placing safety Ken o.'neil and linebacker Dion Jones, I are who? Yeah. I mean, this is rough. You guys know I was really high on the falcons. I do like Stephen means he was with the eagles and that guy has a motor and he's a good rotational rusher really good rotational rusher. I'm surprised nobody's scooped him up earlier, but I think it's his fifth year. So a salary would have been guaranteed. We'll get to that in a little bit, but I'm just telling you, you know, Vick Beazley's had a nice year a couple years ago. True fund to could player Grady Jarrett to good player, but I think Kiana O'Neill, Indiana Jones are probably the falcons to most valuable linebackers two most valuable defensive players to real problem. Neal's done for the year with the ACL. It sounds like Dion Jones will be back a little bit later in the year. Remember you can put more guys are now bringing back, but once you put him on ir, they're done for weeks. So that's rough. I mean, attack the season. Dion Jones will be gone. The good news thousand's is I don't remember. It was injuries, but they're good enough that they can hang for a while. You know, without him until. Until he gets back and still be in the ticket, things you'd like to think. More injury, news and Carolina, or the Panthers announced the tight end. Greg Olsen did in fact rebrand his foot and tackle Daryl Williams had surgery on his knee. Well, I've touched on this a number of times we touched on with. Dr. David, Chow he does the medical minute on Mondays with the updates. He didn't think they're Williams to be able to play much this year. He said that's very, very, very tough injury to try to play through William try to do it last year in Washington was Inada the lineup, Daryl Williams didn't even last a full game, and now he's got to have this surgery. The only saving grace is the early surgery, the better can't. He'll be healthy when three agency comes around, but we'll still see the impact that has on his value. Well, the look like Ellen Robinson still got a pretty good contractors. Joe banner, the former team president for the eagles and Browns point out as for Olson. I don't think they're putting him on our, which means I think that they believe they'll get him back. I would still probably put him on I r and just sit him for eight weeks to make sure for the second half of the year. He's as healthy as possible. Symbol. That was to make sense to me. Jeez, rough week one for the Houston Texans as well with right, tackle Chantal Henderson out for the season. The team pa- cornerback Kevin Johnson. I not on with a second concussion. That was the second concussion here in twenty eighteen Bri and that twenty gets scary. You know, that's when you really have every precaution. And so he goes on, I r and it'll be out at least eight weeks. I liked that they're taking that kind of precaution with him. I'm also always of the mindset. I just wonder if I can concussion. It was bad enough. I got put on our. I start to really wonder about playing again. I think I talked to a bunch of experts and I think after eight weeks, it say you're probably find that if I got into the one after that, that would probably be it for Sean Tyrrell Henderson. This was an opportunity to get his career back on track, but that's not going to happen now. And the Texans already had probably the worst line the league. They already had major issues. They Julian Davenport, young guy at a Bucknell left tackle Sean tra- Henderson at right tackle. And now they had to move Davenport over and put Martinez Rankin left tackle because that's what he played at Mississippi State. So a lot of movement there with the Texans..

But it did get the drive going, and they were able to punctuate it with a J J a touchdown to give Philly lead. Phones, Hitler, gone. Second of one. Guide was right. Both. Josh perkins. Emotion gives it to a giant. There you go. And that's where we were. It was ten to six ending the third quarter going into the fourth quarter. A couple of big defensive plays by both sides a couple of interceptions Rasul, Douglas and Dion Jones. They went back and forth. And then it was Atlanta. Because of that Dion Jones interception when Dallas got it just got smashed could hang onto the football. Eventually Coleman was able to punch it in from yards out to give it landed. The lead back Ryan hands to Coleman. He'll hit the cutback and Kevin Coleman. The Atlanta touchdown on an yard as pushed the falcons back in front twelve to ten and that was on nine ninety two. A lot of do a lot of math figuring out who's got time to do what? It was it was finally an interesting ballgame late, and then it came down to the end and the eagles with a defensive play too. So it up at the end. The gone. Thanks. He looked. He fires.

"Super Dion Jones devante Campbell and Duke Riley, three superfast linebackers. You want to get guys like that reacting and kind of hesitating just a little bit to negate that speed. And I think the way you do that is to go after them in this case or other times you want to try to attack them schematically these guys. I'd just go after them right away and make them happy face blockers. Anything else you wanna talk about when it comes to eagles offense versus falcons defense. Not really other than it'll be interesting to, especially with the injuries at wide receiver for Philadelphia right now, it'll be interesting to see what they do, what they're too tight. End packages was backwards in Dallas collared there that'll be in last year, the foul, you know what you're going to get Kiana, Neil and devante Campbell will be the ones who match up against those guys, but I'm real interested to see what it means when those are on the field together. Yeah, Dallas Goddard is a is a fun rookie here. Nice, nice replacement. They for Trey Burton, and I think we're, we're gonna have to see him thrown into the fire early here, straight out of South Dakota state, not to be confused with Carson Wentz his alma mater in North Dakota state, but. Anti-poor move on yellow only with NFL game pass. You get every atom market game. Pre excuse me. Preseason game live top rookies comeback players, new players on new teams at all, happens in the preseason live with NFL game pass. That's actually the only place so far you may to see a little bit of Dallas Godart now I'm not sure who's going to be protected who's going to say on the sideline for this final week of the preseason. But I do hope we get see Lamar Jackson one more time. He seemed to have made some strides in the in last week's game against Miami, and I think there are better things coming down the line for him as he becomes more comfortable against the NFL defense is here I can watch Lamar Jackson and the ravens live in the preseason. If I miss his game, I can replay it after it's aired whoever you want to watch this preseason, you'll need NFL game pass to do so if you're at a market. But I think my favorite thing about pre. Season week four is it's chance to see all those Cinderella stories emerge all the guys you've never heard of who will become impact players in league. I remember the years. I it Willie Parker, Victor Cruz, Fred Jackson up in buffalo. Those are the guys who emerging in the final preseason week. It's really great opportunity. A great opportunity who's next mixture to watch all the action. This.

"Nine feel like it was odd down jacks vogel much colder so he in their car really struggle and then you know the last game of the uri only played a half so arteries 3 for 11 yeah i don't really know what to make of that or the atlanta defense is now gotten a lot better they got mockus drew far now plying fulltime in secondary which they didn't have last year dion jones's attacking tackling machine and they are grady jackson or are ready jarrett he is is a a pass rushing just like an absolute nightmare so it's not going to be easy for them i think that game is like twenty to 17 or something like that because the bring out the falcons haven't been the falcons all offense of last year but their defense i think is better second should be closed these are qizhen every night questionable in the red zone for most of the season in terms of play and then finally they'll good against the rand's i've personally i thought the saints looked like a super bowl team i know that this is going to be tougher them they're gonna have to go up to necess and i know minnesota's played so great talk about a great defense the viking certainly have won but i don't know if the saints to me they now are so balanced drew brees is still drew brees i think he is a tom brady type or no everyone thinks the tom is this massive competitors you'd ship it he's screaming to people who breezes just like that awesome whose and all she wants to play tilley's 45 also he also thinks he's never going to die down we're going to get the the debate nine b nine isn't her and there is a desert aston martin martin they don't like what that he's out there even gumbo and like these are he's an awesome power to you know and that's why he wants to rip off another one fringe information about away but they'll pay us they're not gonna lose him i would i would say this i i have i have the vikings in.

"The falcons bear hugs the receiver literally spin jim around and they're no call me now collingsworth went on this idea that there's a sight there's a there's like a unwritten code no official wants to be the reason why game is won or lost but every time you have a close game like this not every time most what you get is a play where there's a noncall because the official turns just had doesn't wanna make that call and he's going to come back to the super bowl last play where does that you know a throw in the end zone and it's a clear early defensive uh passing interference but they won't make the call uh so my question is uh you know he's there's something that can be done about this other than a wrestling match it goes on on the end zone could the offensive player uh if i'm the offense of play on pushing and shoving two if there's going to be metal call a f what do you what do you think about that and we only ask you if you weren't the official we'll do make that call knowing that you are gonna maybe when the outcome of the game to do your job as an official and dion jones basically tackled sammy watkins tumor he couldn't run the route and clinton retraced back on the crossing route that he had so that was a clear holding in the end zone on the defensive side of the ball so i know as illich chris counts were set during the game officials are a little hesitant because they don't want to change the game on a play call like that in a call but you gotta make the call that your job and it was clear right i i agree with you there now if you're looking at jump all scenarios hail marys in things going on in the end zone i mean guys gonna get knocked around that that's one thing you look at that instance last night the call is going to be made and that's one thing that the i will say let the the dps and the receivers play more physical they let them hand fight more than they did during the regular season but when you have that call in the end zone in the games on a line like it was in a plan game you've got to throw the.

"But the point is its throw it to function these or run it because he's the leading rusher for the panthers is the quarterback yet and again i'm saying i like khris mccaffrey personally yet he wasn't the dynamic player that i think they thought he was going to be i thought he was a little overrated in a whole lot overhyped and he caught a lot of balls for little yards in funchase led them in yards for catch it thirteen point three but in the end they're gonna go as he goes running the football here really in especially in a playoff game and especially against new orleans if you look back their worst loss of the year was at home to new orleans and he only rush three times for sixteen yards and then his fourth lowest rushing total was at new orleans six for fifty one which is still by most quarterback standards of a great day pretty good yeah okay but it's not good enough to win a game they lost thirty one to twenty one so i you're exactly right he he takes too many shots because he asks for too many shotton this is what i've never understood about this game and these quarterbacks it's rigged for cam newton to own the game as a running quarterback was the rules are rigged to protect the korda because he's got a failsafe all he has to do if he runs for six yards or eight yards all he has to do say i gave up i slide right and they can't even really touch they can just barely get their handle any of the only position that you won't get called out for sliding you will you can't flood no nobody can snarl with the quarterback is going to get protected in so he can just torment dvds because he can get his five or six rate yards and then you can just go down in your like ha ha i gotcha well too many times cam says i'm gonna get ya and when he gets in the secondary he's gonna head hunt a little bit and if there's some de become an as happened on the golan now i think that was dion jones i think on the golan with over the it was back in new orleans were who let you vote for the round.

"In the screen game when you saw what he was capable of the vision the ability to set up blocks to help allow his offense of lime and get him position those are all things that yes you can coach but you just see some guys the better understanding than others and early in his career you've seen that kind of understanding envision from album camara and the way this offense changed the minute he left the game and it was a poor rushing performance from them last night you give the falcons defense a lot of credit for it dan quinn has been trying to build that group in the likeness of the seattle seahawks where he came from ultimately it has not reached that type of top and production just yet but looking around that group i mean dion jones had a great night including that game sealing interception there is act led it gives a defense is you'll find everywhere the consistency is not always been matched by you see a healthy desmond from fonts on the back and was a huge difference for them made a bunch of plays in the passing game for them on that side against a very speedy new orleans saints receiving corps and going forward health seems to be like it's going to be the determining factor as it usually always as but i never thought it would be the health of two rookies like seeing marshon lattimore offthefield last night as much as he needed to get his breath after missing some time due to injury not being able to work out not being able to get in shape and being on the short week you recognize how valuable he is you recognize how valuable album kamar is and you realize that a drew brees leads.
