"Her power and subjugating people now there are some scenes were the people. She subjugating are men mendez. Were the ruins revenging. Come yeah they are men who are trying to take advantage of her or maybe if you don't think they're really going too far with that they are still let's say being inappropriate or just getting too close to her. I'm going to back you up. Even more atom. She seeks some of them out. That's what i was gonna say. Is that not that. I need an easy explanation from duke or corno to provide the motivation justification psychology or some kind of justification but there is something you wanna latch onto their a little bit. I agree you unlock some of these other elements of the movie that we're talking about versus feeling a little bit like you know art house fund if you will but there wasn't a sense for me watching it that there was any kind of underlying clear motivation or even semi clear motivation. That would have allowed me as i said to not. Only unlock some of these. Other kind of colliding storylines and elements and psychology introduced. But it would just give me. It would give me an idea. It will give me an idea that. I really wanna ponder that. I really want to consider that does seem to me like an idea that viewers of this film need to contend with but because of the inconsistency it seemed to me there because of the the drive of this character to seek out those types of experiences. It did it. Did leave me wondering if i if i perhaps just miss something do you. Do you feel that that we did I think that's totally fair. And i think it's most glaring in the scene where she goes back to a house. Yeah iodate with A character we only meet briefly. Justin played actually by durant's maria who is so great as the lead and raw and by the way wasn't her name. Justin right yeah. I think you're right. Yeah i think that's seen at that. House is the most glaring of what you're talking about where it gets a little the use of music it gets a little actually like. Aren't we all having fun here. As were deeply horrified comedy. Yeah comes a cowl seen right and maybe that was intentional again. Not something i usually go for. Here's here's a slight counter. I would offer. I think so much of the understanding of this character. Alexia is rooted in that prologue. Where she's a child and there is a ton of subtext. It's a brief scene again will not spoil how it ends of her in the backseat. While her father is driving. And there is so much passive aggressive nick's going on between the two of them and wear that scene. And i think the movie is insinuating. Autun there that might be picked up on later in the film and ways. Perhaps we'll get into an spoilers. I think that is glimpse into alexia's psychology. And i agree with you though. I don't know it's entirely enough if you are a viewer like you and i and not all viewers are who want to have some way into a character like this one of the challenges for me was to ask once i realized this again. Life taking in lifesaving. Dichotomy was playing out How far am i willing to go to save a life. That i think is not worth saving because of what that character had done and i think to me talking about something that is more you know like soul shaking or whatever it is that question is like. When are you going to give up on someone when you see a character who has not given up on someone like that Is that more challenging to you. you know and so i. I think there's something there. But i also agree with you that It's really hard to connect with this character. And maybe that's where we can talk about the performances and get to a little more text Here what what did you make of this performance agatha result roussel. I believe is a newcomer. And she's in almost every frame Vincent lindon as we said comes in and it becomes just you know becomes a two person story at some point. I just saw this as i was looking up a few things before we started recording. He actually i knew i recognized him and he's been in a ton of stuff but for me. It was cleared denise friday night and i think there's a lot of dinnie in this movie especially when it comes to like sex and violence. Actually so obviously denise an influence on duke or now But yeah what. What did you make these two performances from linden and roussel. Yeah i was really wild by linden's performance and roussell. I think my struggle with that performance comes back to the struggle. we're trying to express with the movie overall. Which is you're right it's hard. It's so hard to connect with this character which goes so far beyond simply saying that. This is a character who does bad things that i don't appreciate it it is. It is way more complex. We're both on record that we don't Yeah we're fine with doing with fine. What's bad characters. Yeah not judging morality here necessarily of the character at least not in this context but it is a difficult performance and a lot of ways to i think a challenging wonderful off that roussell does for the most part because there is very little that she actually expresses verbally. It is almost a complete physical performance. There is so much of that is non verbal and so i did find myself at times really being amazed by the nuances to her reactions. Especially when she is interacting with lyndon and so much of it is her trying to protect herself and keep a distance and and there's two notes being played at once. There's there's the note that she really doesn't know this person and doesn't want that type of intimacy or to be vulnerable but she's also just protecting herself too in the sense that she doesn't want to be exposed as a fraud and so she's always kind of trying to keep a distant so. I was impressed with that. And then there are other times where. I felt like i was watching a prolonged scowl. You know there is that that face which don't get me wrong. It's very expressive. It's very intimidating. I said there was nothing scary about this movie. That face when roussell turns and glares at you is maybe the scariest thing in the movie. But i also i'm just going to admit felt like it. It kind of dominated the performance in a way. Where maybe i was looking for just a little bit more that humanity to come through. And that's that's the problem. This is a character who fundamentally. That's that's the journey. If we go to your reading the film that's the journey this characters on and you have to be willing to go through the challenging parts of that with the character. Yeah i mean what an ask of a fairly novice performer. A roll like this. Because you you're right we. We didn't mention but when she begins to pose as adrian. She obviously obvious. Reasons chooses not to speak which vinson accepts because who knows what trauma he thinks you know. The his son has been through and so It it makes sense but also takes away a huge tool for an actor. You know And so to think about it that way. It is an impressive performance. It you know. It's almost as if given and this would involve spoilers. But i i think we can say in terms of body horror the things she does to herself to try to appear as this son she breaks her own knows an extended scene in an airport bathroom. We have to watch It's almost as if her her body becomes an art installation project for do cornell. And yeah and i think that's part of the trouble is we're not used to. We want more human connection with the people we see on screen and this character is almost treated as an art installation project which may be part of the limitations. Now this also. We understand a character who has caused. And i in my reading endured great trauma And so there. It's that sense that i think made me feel if not connected to him..

"One thing that that you have to keep in mind as you're a group of people you're not just racing at christopher bell's not just racing de hamlet. He's racing from cow arts. And back that whole group he's gotta he's gotta inserting himself somewhere in there to gain points on that group and the best way to gain points on the group is when the groups in the garage area. And you're still out there. Running talladega is that place for dini mentally. It just takes stress on and we all know what it's like when you can take stress off for just a little while dinnie. Has that stress relief all week long all week long. He doesn't have to worry about talladega. He can look past how i agree with you. He goes there to win. They go every week to win but he doesn't have to worry if he doesn't win he doesn't have to worry if something happens. Well you mentioned the group. We were fortunate to catch up with most of the playoff drivers. You may not here for the team. Hendrick here because we're gonna talk about them separate because they had some great cars with some other issues. We a breakdown in the second segment but hero a bunch other playoff drivers reflecting on their rates. Las vegas on the balance never really changed on our subway ford mustang and kept plugging away at it and better than we were here last time made up some points and go to the next one is this is another example of guys making the most of you cannot have race and out of a day done it all year. It's an old story right. So we're all speed really. I mean i thought a couple of cars a little bit quicker than us Behind ball over there in the second stage having to pit at the end and having takeaway company back. So that kinda hurts. Nothing really wanted is planned We're definitely better in the daytime when the track was hot. Probably your best round. Unfortunately that was when we had a pit before the green flag after the cop caution there and lost the handle a little bit lost some speed on top of that had vibration so pretty much. Nothing went good at the end of the race. Oh maybe we should be happy with an eleventh after all of that and fighting through it less them on the table as part of the frustrating at at no point where we the fastest car but we executed a really really. Well an awesome job. We're not beating ourselves. This is a really dangerous team with execution. We have right now if we could just find a little bit of speed. We can win races when the championship. Yeah just disappointing Locked front breaks up coming into pit road and couldn't turn and got into them so that was super disappointing but rice is pretty much room before we got started. So you know. I don't know. I feel like we have the speed. We're capable of running with those guys. We just gotta clean up a little bit of mistakes on my end. We just never could could get the balance right Really struggling off. Turn for all day long. We did so not sure exactly. Why not really something. We've had here in the past. Wish we could have been better but all in all not to grind out a force with cars. is a good effort and i was looking forward to the lights coming on us. Picking up speed and being able to rip the wall little bit faster but when we got hit into the fence off to the first time it definitely knocked out of our car and then i got into the fence again trying to get by lap car so just You know not enough room over there. I guess the good piece. We move forward all day long so that was good. I've said it. I'll say it all the time. If you go to talladega and you can come out of there with a twelfth place. Finish with with. No states points That's a successful day. So i'll take that right now if i can skip it well. Unfortunately kabushiki can't skip it Before we move on. I want i would be missing out to congratulate kyle. Busch six hundred start.

"That did this. Well that are outside of the box for example. A merval show. Maybe you need to reevaluate the way that your awards handed out because if those are the popular shows but they're not the ones getting the awards that's a problem. That is a problem. But then a lotta times says the emmys and at these award shows are very slow to fix things and and i just think that there's enough angst when it comes to marble and star wars to say you know what we're going to go ahead and say you're good but you know going ahead and praising you i think we're going to go ahead and just limit ourselves on that i mean we're going to see this on back into the show when we talk about dinnie villeneuve and also marcia lucas about how they have a you know their issues with the with that part of the universe and there is this sector of hollywood that just is is not going to allow marvel and star wars to succeed on a certain level. Yeah it's i don't want to say that it's a barrier because i don't think that that's entirely accurate. They're definitely more important barriers. That are an issue with the emmys. But you know when it comes to these award shows. I do think that the fact that it's a show or intellectual property that comes from comic books that could just still be a bit of a taboo subject for you know the actors not the actors. You know what. I mean that difference absolutely although the octa ause doors but the boys says something on amazon i really thought was a fantastically made show and was actually. I think my number one show last year as far as for television's concerned and i really thought that deserved a lot more loved than gets but again that touches on a comic book issue. It deals with very adult subjects. It's something that is tremendously successful on amazon. Prime as far as popularity is concerned. But i think then it's still a hard pill to swallow for the individuals at the emmys to go ahead and wrap their head totally around but again. That's just me saying things out loud here. So i'm hoping i'm wrong. I'm hoping all shows get praised and get the the awards deserved at some point but yeah it seems seems like a little exclusive club and when you're invited into that exclusive club like the crown and ted lasso. It was this year. Seems like you're going to garner a the lion share of the awards yup absolutely..

"And he just said jon rahm won't lose a match and wisconsin. I believe it. Unfortunately i believe it so got probably got tommy fleetwood. Sergio fizi faulk man. They have a good team. I don't know why they're they're like two to one underdogs to me. That's yeah and i think there's a comfort level right like when you get Sergio and lee westwood there together who've just one endless cup matches like the two of them look at each other. Oh it's like it's fucking two thousand four out here. We're good like that's not the you know. That's that's that comfort level. That's like oh we're just in the we're in the trenches again. We're in the war. So i you do. if you're route v america. You do have to worry about that because those guys they just get such a comfort level out there with all those points they like sergio's the most is the most sports and they're gonna history of the writer right. There's something to say about like. I'm really excited about the rookies on the us team. I just think that we need that. Fresh blood it's everything that we've been saying that the team doesn't have we just need to just wipe away all the bullshit bringing these new guys have them perform. Well what i. But i also love old name veteran players. I do this with my fantasy football team. Like i get my faulk. Antonio brown's i've tom brady. I've got julio jones. All these guys that you're like. Oh i mean my teams unbelievable. Because they're just big name veterans like big name veterans. Get the job done. i mean fuck. I'm an islander fan. We've got all of them now. Zach parise day playing for the daniel char playing for the islanders. I'm so jacked up. Dinnie big names and when you hear about sergio garcia and like ian poulter. Yeah there's fucking amazing young players out there in the world. There's probably amateurs playing in college right now. That are better golfers and ian poulter but that name just does it in big events that name. Sergio garcia just gets it done right. I'm looking at now. This is our dozen johnson. It's fifth ryder cup at alana ryder cups. But he's a name get done what. Dj's name that gets done to even though it doesn't actually get done. He's he's a name that gets it done. But this is sergio garcia's tenth ryder cup and it's le- less with eleven so it's just a comfort. they're comfortable. We got a really young team in terms of ryder cup What's the word i'm looking for but it's we just ran the amount of of tenure that these guys have at the radical and. You're like ian poulter. We are constantly but like you put them on a ride erica. And he feels comfortable. It's very different than on the. Pj two very different you. You might have frozen rigs again do frozen rakes by. "Money mike and here i don't know here's their their weird film and here's more evidence of him being a big piece of shit. The major update is that fancy pants alec did in fact hire a hitman to shoot him in the head while he was pulled over on the side of the road pretending to change a flat tire. You go unbeliev obvious we so everybody knew thought shot himself in the head hired hitman. It was hired hitman. So get this alec. Alex hired sixty year. Old curtis when we find. A picture of curtis curtis edward smith to assistant his suicide. But make it look like a so that alex surviving son buster. Look at that guy doing the rock. He's not doing it. We'll that's permanently there. He's got he's got resting rock face when the lasted a math just permanently. Put it for real. This guy's boys born evil. You've never seen this before he. He's he's a comic book character. His his his left eyebrow is truly rains at a very steep ninety angle. It's like it's in the middle of the last action hero. He's giving you the eyebrow. So curtis alex hired ticks when criticized smith to assisted suicide. Make it look like a so that alex surviving son. Buster could collect on a ten million dollar life insurance policy. alex buster. that's the one that had definitely did a lot of weird essentially bastion. Getting lovers head with his brother. We'll get alex bus. The surviving son. Alex admitted the plan to authorities on monday. And and smith the guy who he hired was arrested and charged with assisted suicide assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature pointing and presenting a firearm insurance fraud conspiracy to commit insurance guests. How alex found curtis. Edward smith craigslist craigslist. Oh that both wrong he. He represented him in multiple cases in the past few decades. Because smith is total piece of shit so alex murdo hired sleaziest criminal. He knew that owed him a favor and had an insurance fraud scheme three months after his wife and son were killed by maybe him or smith or any one of the thousands of people that want to kill them in south carolina because of the hundreds of years of dominating prosecuting and covering up murder so wow that caught caught embezzling millions from his law firm like the day before he hired smith to kill him and anyways anyways. So how's this guy. A real person as well or know alex murdo. John grisham is probably considering reading nonfiction books now because he could just find people like this yeah and he saved his skin. The craziest part is he's going to turn himself in right. So he's he's he's still like he's still. I wanna live like he. He wants to live out his days like in white collar. Briskly spill the beans on the headshot shot thing he hasn't. I don't think spill the beans on an if he knows anything about his son and wife's murder or the housekeeper or the gay son or the or the the gay the woman with the boat that has killed in the boating but he he mentioned the head shooting thing that was on him so myrtles attorney dick harp pool harpootlian great name car putin but harpootlian acknowledged the scheme on wednesday saying that his client alec murdoch or alex murdo was depressed and suicidal due to the recent deaths of his wife his son and his elderly follow father as well as his struggles with opioid addiction. So yeah i mean that's a good one of those who make you sad so that that was a lot of stuff piling up there They went on to say. Alex is not without fault but his life has been devastated by his opium addiction. And that for the past twenty years many shady people have taken advantage of their knowing. He was a rich addict and that one of them. They're doing the hunter in who've agreed to take alex's life by shooting in the head presumably for money so they're they're pushing it all the blame on smith the guy opioid alex murdoch called surfer dinnie. Embezzle fucked tunnel money from his firm. Millions to separate suffered incident. Oh man committed insurance fraud walking disaster so rough summer for alex pat as long as as long as he's the victim of the situation and they can they can. They can paint him as he was just so depressed. Red diction that was the problem. They're trying to trying to hunter this for sure you know. It seems like alex is of breaking point. You know he's willing to spill the beans or at least some of the beans because it's just. It's all unraveled for alex. This point also on wednesday audio clip of murdoch discussing the plot with smith was released. So that's officially what happened with his head shooting. We still need to find out who killed his son. Paul his wife margaret and the nineteen year old stephen smith who's had whose death investigation has been reopened. He's the game man who was beat to death by maybe both of them urnov boys. According to some rumors also a police probe is being launched on the myrtle housekeepers death gloria satterfield. Who suspiciously died in slip and fall in two thousand eighteen so too big updates. There the police are like we've probably should check these. These things open up kiosks. Hey hey sorry to be in court. We're getting there's a lot of coverage on this murtaugh thing You think maybe. I think we're gonna have to solve these other murders. That's exactly what's happening and like i mentioned earlier Satterfield the housekeepers family. Her sons are like he didn't pass dot so like it was reported that he paid five hundred thousand in wrongful death. So this guy's has been covering up murders probably having some ordered to over the years and then just and then just never ever hooking anybody up and just keeping all the cash that he steals off of the dead. That's all that's how alec murdoch roles mark he's been in a dark place and he and he's recovering of we and we need to respect. Look there will be more updates later but let you guys want to hear the audio of him. Calling smith for the assisted suicide l. Yes hello curtis. Who's.

Look at the guys unique. He's he's up against in terms of top ten plays in the nfl top. Ten plays in the nfl. Because like patrick mahomes. Right guys like Formed tom. What are you standing for. And i think jeff houghton and our project was actually jeff benedict but image of hominids said steelers and free agents out fragrance. Wanna complain for the pittsburgh steelers. I completely agree all gonna wanna complain if we if we muck around with superstars like tj. What people are gonna sit there. And what are you doing. But you know what i have. The pittsburgh steelers narrower there. I don't face it. They know how to sort out the different faith at the money in tj He'd be the player. Every other one of those plays are getting paid will. Then i mean i should to decide is gonna be the quarterback in the next couple of years. I mean should decide what you think because we needed someone. That's going to be able to get the ball back quickly for rookie quarterback very say interview not paying. Tj team is going to win four games because he is an absolute centerpiece particularly particularly Rookie contracts on the defense. So i don't think it's still lost their identity. I don't but they all depending on what happens out of this particular not signed. I think begs the question. Are they facing identity crisis when it comes to what is standing for and against where the other teams in the nfl me mike. I think that's unfair. But we gotta can pay Off the field to compete with thirty one teams almost field. But thank you very much for listening. That's warm for this week. Can't wait to join you. "We're about to play america's favorite games too right now. Green flag black-flag redesign statement. And if you agree with the statement our panel will give it a green flag. And you'll hear this now. This agree give it a black flag and you get this. All right can start with hermes sadler since he drove so far. All right all right at least to pass. Champions will be eliminated in round one. A green flag have to elaborate is just because his that kind a year. It's just been crazy. And what you see and i just got this feeling that this year is gonna be different and strange and upside down and Surprise after surprise a green flag me. Right alexis ericsson. Yeah i'm gonna go black flag actually Certainly could happen. But i don't see it happening especially at around one now round two. Perhaps that could definitely happen. But there's just some other guys Down at the bottom of round one that are that are not past champions. I think are gonna go up. I all right. What do you think doug rice. I'm going to agree with her. Sadler and say green flag. I could easily see a couple of past champions stumbling over the next couple of races. Kabua's all but said he's given up on his team so he could be one of them and who else could suffer that same kind of fate. So i agree to to one so far. Brad gilly what do you think. I think the gentleman to my left and my right are crazy. One pass. that's true. Look i think kyle busch goes out You go back and look at his history and he has melted down in the first race of several playoffs before and that literally just set the tone for him not even be able to compete for a title. So i would say one but not to all right. Alliance is having my back here you go. You're you're up next on this. When alexis darlington will not be the last attrition race in the round of sixteen. Oh gosh yeah green flag. I mean we're going to richmond and we're going to bristol in those are racetrack. Second call is high. High attrition High tempers high everything. So yes i say green flag. I do not think darlington. We'll be the only one that will see multiple multiple playoff drivers suffering. Ill fates. I'm gonna bet doug agrees with you. Do i do agree wholeheartedly. Green flag. I thank the folks up to bristol need to order a couple of extra records and maybe a backup role black. Because there's gonna be some torn up sheet metal there brad geli oh green flag all the way we look. We have nine hundred laps of racing still left in this round. I don't know that it's necessarily gonna be richmond but stranger things can happen to doug point. I think speedway children's charities is going to have a lot of sheet metal auctioned off after bristol. all right. how about her me. Sadler black flag. Whoa oh woo. You know the reason. I say that number one i want to disagree with everybody else because it makes a good radio and television and all that but number two these teams and drivers that have dubbed themselves. This whole at darlington. They can't race aggressively as much as they. Maybe would like to so. I think we're going to see not trying to not sale tickets for these tracks. But i think you're going to see drivers that are trying to come back or dig back out of that hole to be a little bit more conservative at richmond and bristol. Maybe so then If they could just take the reins off or they might have to be desperate at bristol. Good point but that's not part of my narrative bristol baby all right dirt left meredith. Love that all right. Let's go to doug rice. I on this one. After not winning a race in the regular season denny. Hamlin will go back to back with a victory in richmond this weekend. Good that happen. I wanna say green flag. Why not yeah. Let let the guy go ahead and that takes away another race from somebody else that needs one guaranteed to advance. I like i like that to use hermes word narrative. How about a brad guilty. I will say black flag not just disagree with doug but i don't think he goes back to back. I think there are people right now. Who are way better on short tracks denny hamlin even though this is his home track and i know he's won a lot of raises here. I'll say black flags can be someone else saturday even her me. What are you saying Black flag. I said earlier matt narrative earlier in the show was dinnie. Is he's good richmond to stats. Say that they don't need me to say but he's really really good at darlington how he can take a fifth eighth place. Car may be win with in richmond. Not as much. I think he. He's always hit great cars. They are anchor drive them. But i think I think somebody just goes to victory lane this weekend alexis. What's your narrative mind is. I've got dogs back. I think.

"To get into the playoffs they won. They were in so really cool momentum for the playoffs i. I'm looking forward to the ten weeks. I think i read somewhere earlier this week. Where we overcome. I think one hundred sixty six point your gap to dinnie so I didn't think it was possible but Our team worked so hard all season or all the regular season and couldn't do without mr h linda all their support and honestly thought we would get off to a slower start than we did. But i felt like we could use string together. Some good runs And we we've had speed all all season long so we actually started off the year better than i thought. But i didn't expect to go through that stretch where we went in week but You know with all the success that they had last year with chase and in the other three drivers. I knew that it was possible. Well house interviewed in the near the infield care center so he wasn't happy but the rest of them were very optimistic. Like let's go. let's bring it all. We're ready for ray playoff. I'm gonna tell you chase elliott. Got me fired up. He doesn't say much. he's pretty quiet guy. brad. I may look a little different. He wasn't missing words. He was a matter of fact. He's told us before he drives race cars to be in the position for the pressure. And right there. Look driver to me that has had some discussions with alan iverson and i would say the wagons. They're circled around that nineteen. They look like they're fired up ready to go. He's very matter of fact. And if i'm these guys. I'm not forgetting last year at phoenix. When he started last and halfway through the race he was running. I so Yeah very serious. Very businesslike Going to be a handful no doubt about it and it'll be interesting to see how mark drew exit. Those guys you know. How fair darlington. I think it's gonna come right out of the box. We're going to see if the real more drew up what's going on. He's he's right. They have been racked. They've been through some issues through the suffer but they just didn't look fast. We talked about be interesting. We get the we get to darlington this week. We'll see who's who and who's got what because every lap is gonna matter and these guys are going to be fighting for these points. It'll be fascinating by the time we leave him. Who's still say i. Let's get back to the calls. Let's start with a willie from alabama. Hey i i have a a a two part question that there's a five or six past champions that are Going for the championship. Do you think any of those guys will win the championship and to do you think that Chase elliott can go back to back. I steve we're going to give you this all right seven championships in the field. Ex-bush elliott lugano kozlovsky. The other busch and harvick. I think there's two pass champions in the final four. But i'm not gonna say if i think one can win it or not if it is it's going to be kyle busch or chase elliott. If even if the champions win it's gonna be kabushiki. Chase elliott cobblers. Chase elliott your champion. It's going to be. I four picked out but red cow going to win. I don't care what. I don't care who.

"Crisis ever makes a final four again. Who are we. We're just the team that went to one for for for the national championship. Banner proved loves it. Obviously but then they have to step back and be like crap in the game because right now indian is the banner game produced like the we don't do the banners we send guys the moon bitch better. Yeah but once. You wouldn't want banner now you're in the game and ninety has five you have one now. You're four behind. So the question is should purdue actually not try to win the national chain. I say yes. I see i say yes to i say yes to produce into a final four by the way. I'm just kidding. I've said that before when shows and people get mad at me. I'm like they've been there for the longest time they didn't. They know we looked at the reason. I know this because we looked it up one time like years ago because we were i think i was argued that they had never been to one. Yeah i think they've been eighty kevin etc. I thought maybe that's why we looked it up. Do they lost a ucla. Imagine that let me paint a picture for you. Larry brown is at ucla. Dad's told me about this like you can't really. You can't really talk shit if you're in the nfl because full circle by the way it goes back to larry brown. Yeah you can't really talk. 'cause 'cause purdue beat i you in that ncaa tournament. I think i think you'd be producing the title game the next year. This was in the united. I think this is the last year. They not matter to my dad but eighty-one no when did. When did they win the nit Hold on damn yeah. They won the championship in eighty-one they beat north carolina. They shouldn't play the game. Because ronald reagan got shot the same day and all the players were like. We don't want it does the year before is what i meant to be produced. Then they're in the tournament previous nina. Anyway final four in indianapolis state. You're playing against ucla. Your purdue you're playing just down the road and they blew it. There was they could've played. Louisville could have been purdue louisville national championship in one thousand nine hundred in indianapolis imagine asking. Yeah but wasn't instead. It was better for the blue bloods because it was dinnie chrome who come from ucla. To louisville versus larry brown and ucla. Yeah the guy that should have taken over ucla. i. I should have known how much my dad hated. Because my dad my dad talks about nine hundred. Eighty purdue failed because they lost in the final four in indianapolis indiana fully. How can you talk to him. But he was so good at it. He's such a good pretty hater. That he's i don't care that they beat my team. I'm going gonna continue like me. Would do i mean do never did anything without coach k. And then people will pull it. They'll bring it up to like vic three straight final four. Shut up all right. Let's Thanks for listening. Everyone thinks that. But i want you to picture this. When you're walking down mainstreet that person can sell. I don't care. I don't care whether they've ever sold anything their life. This is a really good reason. Why i love recruiting out of customer experience. No one does so. You've got thousands of people that aren't being given opportunity to sell in all. You really need to do those. Listen to their calls in see how they are communicating with customers. Whether or not they're following the script or they're not when it's appropriate. They're just being a human being. Those that can be a human being. I aggressively try to convince them to get into sales because they can be taught on the on the other side of the of the of the interview. A good friend of mine. Taylor rose if you ask him his trip to nailing in any interview helps tell you just make sure the interview word talks about eighty percent of the time you get up and talk ninety percent of the time. The job is yours We everyone loves themselves talk and when they tell me about yourself and you say oh do this and how about you and then you just keep you you hold the conversation they leave and think oh man that guy was awesome. yep he's a great communicator. What they're really thinking. Is i got a chance to talk about myself for the last hour. And that made me feel good but but it goes back again to just basic human communication whether it's overcoming an objection or understanding the difference in objection interjection. It really comes down to do you understand the way human beings thinking communicate if by we will make mistakes. We're not perfect to this. I'd be tapped on the shoulder. Sometimes have somebody say hey mark. You're you're not listening to this person. You must be stressed right now because your default is to be a great communicator. But right now you barking orders. You're not really understanding what this person's concerns are. You need to take a step back. And and i was appoint people you know in my org to to watch to watch me if they ever feel that. This decision is for the rest of my life. But the more i can get it to. You know what. I'm just going to experiment. It is so powerfully freeing on there's no obligation for anything to come out of it. I don't have to do it perfectly. I don't have to spend decades studying in. I can just go try something. But i have to get in that mindset and i know some people don't have issues with that but for me helps get in that mindset and as you were talking giving some examples i was thinking you could actually just explain to people that it's an experiment like in the elevator. Hi i'm doing an experiment. How's your day going. And that's that's amazing first of all. I never thought about it that way but that is an amazing way like you literally just explain it to so. Yeah this is. This is doing an experiment. Yeah wow. I see a really inappropriate addressed. Yeah it's an experiment. Yeah yeah. I mean listen. It's it's a great way to do it. I know i'm doing today in the new company too but i think back then i hit a nerve because people really liked the feel of these lipsticks. They liked the colors and it was so different than what was on the market. Where most of the lipsticks on the market. Where the artificial smelly bright lipsticks. These were they were comfortable on your lips and they were colors that worked not just to match your lips but with your skin so there were so easy and they just you put them on. You're like oh my god. It looks good and so it hit a nerve and it was very much word of mouth in the beginning. We didn't advertise and there was no social media. There was nothing that we have today. It was really word of mouth. And also the fact that i was. Pr you know editorial makeup artists so magazines would write about it and it just kinda started taking off. You've talked at length about how you grew up in a time when beauty was a pit amazed by tall. American models like cheryl tea eggs christie brinkley. You've said that when you look at a woman you actually don't see what's wrong with her if they don't look that way you see what's rate with her. Has that always been the case for you. Yes and i've always appreciated interesting beauty. It was you know it was never the classic blonde blue. I you know eighties model or seventies model. I love when i started meeting women of different coloring different things that they had whether it was someone who's mixed and i would always want to know what are you. What are you. And i just always appreciated and back then i mean i can't even believe they called it ethnic beauty which is anyone that wasn't like blonde blue is basically so you know now it's like women was strong noses. I love freckles. I actually like lines in the face. I like character. And i like four lips than i like just different things on different people. After four years just four years you were able to sell your company to estee lauder but even before that you had to big offers you turn down. What made you decide to sell to water. Well i think that when leonard lauder called and i didn't think about selling to esti lodder i thought about selling to leonard lauder when leonard called and asked to meet me i went with a partner to his house and i fell in love with him and he basically said you know you're beating us in the stores. I would like to buy you and at the time. I said we're really not on the market. We're not for sale. He said what. If i could tell you you do what you love and we could do all the things you love. And what if i tell you that you could spend quality time as a mother and with your children and do all the things that bring you. Joy and i was like Interesting and it was an offer that i couldn't refuse so we it was an amazing feeling. I never felt bad. I mean it was an incredible experience. I was thrilled. My husband and i were able to you know send all of our nieces and nephews to college and just it was an amazing thing. Dinnie also tell you that you reminded him his mother. But i think with more likely portland than it. Is you know anywhere else now. If i could take feel i would probably take the field Right think that that's probably the most likely scenario is somewhere. That's not portland portland or not portland. That's kind of what. I'd have to thank but you know he's got a long long contract. You've got that extension. It's about to kick in four years so Trading somebody that's under contract for that long There's there's a lot less urgency. I wouldn't be surprised if it had to be another year. I'm in portland Before trade gets done That being said. I think the boston got a decent offer. you know For 'em if they were interested in Jalen brown jaylen brown do much better in the portland market in terms of fans liking him than. Let's say michael junior out of denver would I think jalen fits what they're looking for. They're a lot more often. Fan perspective than than michael junior And i do think for juniors an excellent player But you know. I think that Brown is somebody who i think would be adopted Very fast as just the ideal Player for that market I think i mentioned new orleans. Think you have to keep an eye on denver I really really like You know the idea of gamal damian lillard and nickel yoga team especially with jamal. Murray said to miss all of next season presumably with this for nacional is hard for me to imagine seeing yoga show from mvp to lose it a team like bats. I wouldn't be surprised to see denver thriller chip from the table interesting and yet To close the loop this off the top of the heads of these numbers are a little an accurate. But i think lillard is owed some of the two hundred and thirty million dollar range over the next four years and that's Think twenty seven million dollars more than the next highest blair janas so it is not an insignificant chunk of change to try to move around All right let's Let's close out the news of the olympics unless get outta here Dinnie hinted that he might want to work an different front office somewhere but maybe it was limited responsibilities. So perhaps we'll see him sticking around the nba. Tatum in an interview with gary washburn. So that he was shocked. That danny had left And that he wasn't expecting brad to get the promotion that he did which i suppose it's not surprising but He was pretty forthright about that. And also you might have seen jalen brown on jimmy. Kimmel live where. He raised twenty five large for his juice foundation. Buying a silly game with that. I think if anderson who's got So we have that Put away this. White confidence podcast. I suppose Let's talk about summer. Legal check with the olympics. And let's go home so summer league. It looks like we're going to get pritchard. Newly-acquired moses brown new smith carson edwards yamadera maybe taco fall and alex. You were telling us that maybe romeo langford in a point guard position. Yeah so this is going back to in athletic article. Jared weiss that suggesting that the celtics are interested in exploring romeo as a more ball dominant point guard type player rather than in the wing role that he's kind of traditionally been used at in the few games that he has played the celtics. Of course romeo's missed a ton of time from injuries as a at the beginning of his career but One thing that they were according to this article thinking about doing is empowering romeo. Be a little bit more of a playmaker off the bench. Which i think is actually kind of an interesting move and one that Many gets a little closer to his college. Skillset skillset when he was at you. I think it's not a crazy idea. Especially given that the celtics in the same article mentions that the celtics are also potentially interested in exploring what peyton pritchard can do in a more off ball role where he's kind of as a spot up shooter cutter type which i think given what we saw from richard last year He definitely has his limitations as a ball handler but arguably the best thing that he brought to the table was a consistent outside threat. So i wouldn't be shocked to see them toy around with some funky lineups. Romeo at point with Playing kind of nominal to guard role I think that summer league is traditionally been a place. Where brad really likes to tanker with lineups and tryouts and funky interesting stuff. And i would not be surprised if daca carries that over short and perhaps pitcher can play the to guard which we don't know what will happen with a informed so that could be an interesting wrinkle norm powell a few hours ago Opted out of his player option. Will barton did the same a few days ago. So the the market for a two guard will be intriguing and that could affect for new very much into the summer league. It sounds like Speaking friend jerry. Rice trim waters is on his way out Good luck drama if that's true And that the team has worked out. Zack augustine great nigel. Hayes said i could be names to keep an eye on. We'll talk more about summer league as it comes down the pipeline but there are a lot of fun players. Think anyone who is more than a casual fan of the celtics will have tune in And let's talk about the olympics which are still happening. What a treat to go sleep on those anti-sex cardboard beds to represent twenty century nationalism. What a what. A wonderful journey. That will be just that. This is russell from tomes of evil. And i'm sending in feedback or batman number two hundred and thirty two which is of course from the iconic run of dinnie o'neil and neal adams and the first appearance of raisch or is it roz ratio google with right off the bat. I'll just get this out of the way real quick. The art is great. You know. Neil adams at a not too crazy about some of his current art but back in the day man is was the one of my favorite. Words quintessential batman artist Pretty much most of the good batman artists would kind of follow suit with this style. Now let's talk about the real meat and potatoes. I have read a lot of Dinnie o neil Stuff recently from No i read all thirty six issues of question. I've read his shadow run Yeah there's if there's one thing danny did right. It was Street level bid. Nawar vigilantes. I mean you have the shadow. The question daredevil brief run on spiderman as real iron man of green arrow green lantern of course batman Yet danny definitely has a knack for writing the street level Caped crusaders from. It's very but but this is low globetrotting so it's a little bit different. Racial bul has always been one of my least favorite batman villains I know he's a big one mostly due to this run. But he's just a mean. I don't think he's special enough. yes he like. He matches wits with batman and he is a skilled fighter himself and they have the whole. Bit with the lazarus pit and immortality but he doesn't have the charisma that the other rogues do and It's not that i hate him. I just like if he's in a story okay. Or i'm not really excited. I'm not truly disappointed under psych. He's there Was a nice introduction to him. We see him deducing batmans secret identity immediately and then by the end of batman reveals that he has deduced his Plan all along. He was not however prepared for talia in love with him. yeah We get brief origin. Recaps for both batman and robin Not sure why that was needed but you know every so often. I guess for new readers. They have to do those origins again overall. I thought this was you know really good. I mean you really can't go wrong with denny o'neil batman i mean this is i i loved the little breadcrumbs that they left along the way especially with Who do not wanting batman to go. I except for when there is danger like with the leopard or the mountain. top Yeah it was good really good. I think i'd say eighty minus the only reason i'm not given this. A higher grade is because of my own personal How do i put. It might lackluster with ratio and Yeah i mean yeah. Great stuff so Once again i leave you with feedback. And i hope to start sending some more soon so have a good one. Thank you russell Yeah i mean store is not bad. it's very much a product of its time. So i mean enjoy some of these batman. Just as i was leaving just as i was leaving the u. k. The east end was kind of taking over and there was this whole new. Transformation of drag and Binney and tastes represent the most the closest ever gonna get to that currently on drag race. They currently represent the most likely. Uk drag Where it is currently going. In my opinion this season season was like more camp. You k was coming from. This season is about where drag is and. I think that we do need to. We do need to let we do need to let the british queens be british. Queens.

Chad Ford's NBA Big Board
NBA Draft Rumor Mill
"Two thousand and twenty. Nba draft rumors whether those trade rumors talking about where we're hearing particular players going. We've talked about all the big names already. We've talked about hard and we talked about chris. Paul we've talked about dennis schroder. We've talked about russell westbrook. We talked about minnesota. We talked about golden state. We talked about charlotte. The bulls are sitting there at four. And it's been really interesting. Dinnie obvious name's been floated about. I've heard from multiple sources that that is sheer speculation because of their general manager. Who's an international guy. And what he did in. Denver has nothing to actually do connected with this pick. La bella ball could be there for chicago. Which would be very interesting in the back court that they currently have there. And i've heard a lot of therese albert. I'm here as well as a culture guy and one of the big things that chicago is focusing on his culture right. Now who do you see taking at ford. They have a guy. I applaud the bulls because they have really done a good job of not telegraphing. What they're doing you know they've been connected to a lot of these guys. They've done an above average job. Relative to when teams are leaky of keeping this close to the best And so it's who they end up with. I think if ball is there he makes tons of sense. That's a nice fit with you guys have and the need for a passer and the fact that there are other scorers on the roster where he's not gonna act like be the only guy who's creating anything that's a pretty nice fit so we'll see if he's there we dug into lamelo earlier so i'm not gonna harp on that fit but let's say he's not there and i think allah is a real option. I agree that some of it is the speculation but he does kinda fit their roster as well and i've heard again obi topping. Who's come up for them. A anthony grants Coach dayton was on billy donovan staff previously thunder. So they're obviously going to be well informed about top into. There's some thought that billy donovan can have some input on what they do here. But it's hard to know exactly what his type of player is is. In oklahoma city you had prestige san prestige Decisions with burst now. So how burton has come up another dark horse. I think for that spot. And i'm still not entirely sure what to make of this but it's patrick williams who i know there's at least some degree real interest there. Would they take him at four. It wouldn't be like totally crazy. At this point. It would be high for him. But i mean maybe that's their secret. They have their sleeve It's really tough for me to predict too but right now my guess would be that if there is no ball. I still lean audio. But i don't think it's like a foregone conclusion. I think people are trying to figure chicago right now. Let's talk about patrick williams because it seems to be a foregone conclusion that everybody thinks detroit's taking him it's of and so now the question is will even be there at seven which you know a few weeks ago probably would have been seen as madness. But i've heard talk that. Atlanta is interested in him. I've heard talk. That cleveland is now interested in him. The most of the talking. Cleveland centers around obi top in and dinnie omnia there. And now you're mentioning chicago at four with patrick williams heck widen on the warriors taking to. Is you know patrick williams is. This is the next upside guy right like after you talk about ball edwards and weisman. I think mini scouts see him the next guy he only averaged nine points a game at florida state but that he has this big big ceiling right that he could that he could fit into as a team. Just as a prospect. Is it possible. He's getting over hyped at this point. Do you really see him. As a player that has the next highest ceiling in this draft after ball edwards. In wiseman i have to admit like. I'm not all the way there with him. I have had him graded as a lottery. Guy for a long time towards the end the college season i was like that guy is gonna go ten to twelve. And that's where i had him now. Yeah i didn't expect this type of leap. I guess we might have predicted it because team sent to be a little bit predictable this time of year. You know the the upside guy always the guy. It's without quite john right now but yeah. I think he's very much an idea. And it's worth re-emphasizing that you know. His his body obviously is really promising in terms of how it will hold up defensively. He's going to be versatile. On that end he will have to get a little bit more agile laterally but his is. The value so young is really helpful. Obviously a big factor. You know being the youngest college player in this draft so between that and then you see flashes were really had a pull up jumper. He's did pretty well from the line. I think there's a pretty good chance. He's an above average three point shooter in now you're talking about well. Hey maybe this is a floor spacing combo forward. You can check out. He'll buck shots. He will play good team. Defense and be switchable. That's a pretty in this draft especially when we're like how do we find like even just like a high level player that case is pretty egypt's let's let's say we take that case for. I mean that's a pretty comparable high and dry or if not better. So i see it what i do it at four. I don't know but i understand why this is happening. And i think there teams that you might wanna come up and get him. And that's probably what the pushing them up. The board as well wants wants everybody found out. Detroit was the floor. Change the conversation. It really does. and there. Is this weird psychological dynamic in the draft. That i love it every year. You know jeremy because this thing takes hold oh you like him at seven now. Maybe we at six like there. Is this conversation that starts to happen with these with these boards. And so you know there's so much data and there's so much scouting that's put into this. But the psychology of the draft is the most fascinating fascinating

Vegas Nation - Raiders Football
Belichick reaches milestone as Patriots top Raiders 36-20
"Everyone is time for the bonus episode postgame recap for Vegas Nation podcast. I'm your host Heidi Fang and I'm joined with our readers writers, Ed Greenie, Adam. Hill we're going to break down what happened here in the Raiders Lost Thirty six to twenty against the New England Patriots here Gillette Stadium in Foxborough at an ir up in the press box Adam back in Vegas a from my vantage point it was. A lot of mistakes made by the raiders, which is something you can't do against the bill belichick coach team. So we're GONNA get all into that here but I I want to remind everybody that we are brought to you by Salmon Ash, indeed visa and also favor. So make sure to subscribe wherever you're listening and what was your first take on what you saw out in the field today with the raiders. You're right. They did everything you can't do and win on the road or anywhere turn the ball over three times. Once rent on. Didn't protect car when they were driving. Me fumbled the Fumble Alina Game Matter Games already overby fumbled the end zone. In the second half, they just wore down defensively I actually done the first thirty minutes be interested at him. I think thought the first thirty minutes they played. As good. A defense as they haven't a while let's be honest. Thirteen points here cam help them a lot. He wasn't any third, but they were down on the second Apple Sikhism Derek. Carr in the offense couldn't stand field. He gave up two hundred and fifty yards total rushing late Sony Michelle when expert in its players per talking, you know these of League so they were down and they just couldn't match. Match up. So a bad game they printed everything you can do and what on the road so Adam how much in fact that these running bags like just through the defense offered their game because I don't think they were looking to contain the likes of three different running backs in this one I think they prepared to contain Cam Newton? What was your thoughts on the running game? I think I was definitely a part of it and I think there was definitely adjustments made. By the Patriots coaching staff because as as ED put out for the first half of the, Patriots were able to run the ball somewhat. But I thought a it wasn't. There wasn't those explosive plays. There wasn't those big plays downfield and it was a kind of picking up some yards here. They're moving the ball effectively but not really gashing the raiders defense and then. They figured out something in the run game after halftime and I'll be interested to find out the later in the week. Interested to get the the all twenty two film comes out like Tuesday. Look a little what happened but I think just at first glance without really looking into what they were doing on the line maybe differently. They definitely started to go to some more cutback plays where they I thought really were able to take advantage of some over pursuit of the writer side in particular from Jonathan Abram, who you know, we know what he can do. In terms just flying around offensively and having people would kind of sending a message for that defense but at the same time. You can use that aggression against him and I think the Patriots kind of figure that out a little bit and it really hit him with a big plays on a place where he got into the gap, he was near the bulk area but just couldn't make up Adams exactly right and and they're going to have to here's the thing about a player John Neighbor might think they love is aggressiveness in his hitting all that he's got a swagger Jim and I. Hate to say this, but sometimes, you just have to you have to balance that it's hard to tell a guy like that. Don't play this way but Adams wait we should for resod against Christian McCaffrey, over pursues too much when you take the battling new pursue Sunny Michelle Christian McCaffrey, they're gonNA come back will go so Yeah. They just didn't play the run wellness second atoms right they adjusted and you have to give Michelle credit like I said when you go For, an average of thirteen yards of Kerry and I don't know if he's ever average per carry more than seven in a games and you also have saved in job I am. But they did they didn't play offensively were out of rhythm Waller. We'll talk about that I know atoms writing thoughts. Darren WELLM was non factor when you get a lot of good at the bill Belgium at he talked about. How good daring waller as well. Guess what he must have died because they ran every defense coverage double team run in stem and stopped him. So atom I know you you wrote about this mean, what did you hear the game to her? How they? You know bottle up there wall I thought it was a group effort I. think that's what of expected to hear from the Patriots Bill. Belichick obviously didn't go into detail about what he did. I think it was just a lot of deception what they were doing offensively disguising it and Bella check pointed out. Hey, it wasn't somebody covering him necessarily a lot of zone. We played a lot of you know bracket coverage a lot of. Men under there was a lot of different things. Defensively. On Waller but I think it was more just about the looks of they're giving up the line and never letting the raiders. No. Before the play what kind of coverage is GonNa be on Waller? Want Credit Anybody I. Think mccourty would be the one that you would like added. Say. Devin mccourty that Dinnie. Tremendous job on him but it was a little bit of everybody kind of in the mixer.

NASCAR Live
NASCAR: 2019 Monster Energy Cup Guide
"Has been an entertaining eight races so far in the twenty one thousand nine Monster Energy Nascar Cup series playoffs. Two races to go and Phoenix plays host to the final cut off race of the year. All the drivers. Those six that we mentioned are gonNA make last last ditch efforts to make the championship race at homestead. And Moran's Woody Canes D Post and Alex Hayden are here to recap the Texas weekend and how it impacts what we'll see in the cup series this weekend in Phoenix Okay mic. Well Steve Post is here from pit road for the motor racing network. Alex Hayden is here from the booth for the motor racing network. And we're you're talking playoffs playoffs boys here. We go so after Texas things kind of got a little weirder than we expected we roll in now with two who guys locked in Kevin Harvick. Who by the way has won three straight fall raises at Texas Martin tricks junior got locked in the week before? Then you get down to the best of arrest Category Kyle Busch twenty two points to the Good Joey Logano twenty points to the Good Denny Hamlin now twenty points. Underline Blaney and Larson Twenty three points joints under the line and Chase Elliott way back seventy eight points behind the line. Let's start off with denny and Chase Steve. It wasn't a week ago that most people a lot of people were going Denny Hamlin. This really might be as year. He seems like he's peaking at the right time. One of those people was me I was I was just convinced. A one of the challenges and I think one of the challenges we've seen with Denny. Alex all up jumped out at upper case. Because you know any better than all of us denny is a the great race car driver extremely talented but one of the challenges. He's always had his in this playoffs and incomplete honesty. The question has always been his his his mental toughness. Okay and and I know a couple years ago. He lost a championship and it was like the wheels fell off from him. The wheels fell off from everything else. It didn't look like we had any of that now and it's still like the mental toughness. Is there it was just mechanical stuff. And things like that but Alex when we look at Denny. He appears on the outside that he's got everything in his life buttoned. The upper everything focused on it but right now he's got some ground to make up he does. And you know it's crazy because I'm trying to think back and I have been for about a week now for crying out out loud. Have we ever had. A playoff warner was had more twists and turns and that was just one driver but with multiple drivers. You're right what he won't get any Hamlin was the guy to beat and a lot of people already saying you know what. He's the favourite to win this twenty nineteen championship but after what we saw Texas. I think it's just a piece of humble pie. Hi for everybody that reminds us in this. Anything can usually does happen. If that unpredictable. Every single lap actually matters it's in for Denny Hamlin to to come out and have such a solid bid stage of the playoffs to have some drama now and find himself on the outside looking being in Steve to your point mental toughness. It's GonNa come into play so Dinnie at attract a one mile race track at his first Ever Cup series. Poll was right here. Sure At at at I s raceway Phoenix. Where we're going this weekend? He's got a little bit of history here he's got a little bit of comfort zone. Here doesn't matter where the start finish line is now the delay out of this race. Track is exactly the same as it's always been so denny Hamlin's gotta dig deep and he's gotta find that mental toughness right now and I think one of the things he can rest comfortably on which is really strange. Is that a week ago. He was in the same spot. Kyle Busch and Joey Logano were pretty pretty comfortable on points. And I think Denny's got a bank on. Well look what happened to me and maybe can happen one of those guys to and You know but but the reality of it is twenty points. Sounds like a lot but someone has a problem in a stage. Denting wins the stage. She's cut that in half forty point swing at forty exactly and I think that would be needs to look at. He had a forty point swing in Texas one of those guys in front. All of them could have a forty point swing and Phoenix. All right you guys were talking about the crazy. Let's get to the other half of that. Chase Elliott a playoff win to blown motors a broken axle and and a crash. Alex has anybody had crazier playoff stretch. Then Chase Elliott no next and I hate to laugh and I hate to make light of it because I mean tastes in that race. Doing all they can but they can't control mechanical failures and that to me is what separates nascar racing from other stick and ball sports. Yeah you need team effort unless it's a golf or or tennis or something of that nature but in racing you gotTa have the team you gotTa have the driver talent and the ability but you also better have some some hope. That lady looks going to be on your side because there are thousands of moving mechanical manacle parts. We're dealing with machines and sometimes things break. It doesn't matter how well they're built pieces of metal will break sometimes and chase Elliott's learning Dan. He's learning it the hard way but that doesn't mean he's out to me. That's kind of the beauty of the way we do things in nascar racing determine our champion you basically got three strikes strikes well he. He's used to be swings already. But that doesn't mean he won't hit a home run on the third pitch right so for Chase Elliott and his fans don't were you got one last shot at it come IFM raceway but boy. Oh boy he's GONNA I don't have to hit the baseball heart. He's going to have to hit it I long way. Here's crazy. Crazy to the guy crashed at the rover. And once that's my that was my thought. And after that role he he crashed anyone the race and I said this guy has momentum desk game set match. This is going to be spectacular to watch how good chase Elliott is the one thing and I chatted with chase I think it was Talladega. And he said the one thing about when you're you're behind his you know what you have to do. They go there when they roll that car off the truck into that garage area. They're going. They're just for they're not staged pointing. They're not doing this. They're not doing now. Alan Gustafson and chase Elliott know that they need to be in the lead on lap three twelve or whenever we throw the checkered flag and that's the only goal and so there is a degree agree that that does define a little bit closer what they need to do. Where when you look at the other guys? They're all within twenty three points. They could be in the middle of that race running calculators others and doing math because one of them had a bad stage or something chase Elliott. It's simple for him going to go on. Dia some woody. Let's talk about. Sim raceway specifically. You mentioned any Hamlin in his comfort level there Alex one of the things he said over the weekend I thought was really interesting. It is still the same race track. But with the way restarts there are now with the new positioning at the start. Finish line. oftentimes you're starting restarting in the turn itself. And then you're fanning out five six wide before you gotta funnel it back down again. That's going to add to the whole level of crazy there. It absolutely is and when you look at the the last handful of races that I assume raceway in Phoenix. We've had a lot of long green flag run so those restarts at the conclusion of the stages or any caution flags for that matter They're going to be absolute chaos. So I love okay. The the thinking is here because if you have the chance to be a part of the championship four on points you're going to be awfully nervous when those restarts come around if you're chase L. E.. You got nothing to lose your relaxed. Go get it but you gotta be careful all the way around this place because if you get into the fence racing a little too aggressively or balance off of another car and have time maybe cut a tire down. If you have to make an unscheduled green flag pit stop. It doesn't matter if you need points or if you need a win the bottom bottom line is chances are your race is going to be over. So there's GonNa be some puckered up race car drivers on restarts remember because nobody nobody wants to be the guy that drops lug nut on the four tire change or can't get the car review order. Have the Jack Fall off out from underneath the Jack Peg on the side of the car. Little little tiny mistakes can absolutely not happen if you're one of the championship contenders all right. Mike there you go alex and Stephen. I've just solve all the world's problems now we'll just have have to wait and see how it plays out this
