D. and we did meet excludes you hear what's going on your shower door I think I would go the same way you did we cannot have a tropical lead colored shower all far or at least bathroom all four of main bedroom there so I would kind of go with the sunset picture although if I was you know going with the no expense is spared if I had a shower room off the old main cave I would go with the U. of L. okay I think the other a and an expansive picture of either Jim Patterson stadium more Rosenblatt stadium out in Omaha you've been in some of these fancy house like when they're framing up the house I do that I'm nosy I I I go and look instruction people are there and and you know you just can you come up and you just look around like you're an architect and they don't say anything anyway just kind of poking around you received some of the bathroom layouts that people haven't unbelievers it's one of my favorite things to look at just how people lay out their bathroom and where they choose to put their bathroom products it fascinates me it the vanity is far away from each other and then I saw someone I think we were at a party at somebody's house they let us walk around and gawk and they had this bathroom where the shower was a thing where you just sort of walked him it was opened on both ends and you just sort of walked into the back of the bathroom and you went around the wall and they were all the shower heads and all you know massaging shower heads analyst of Anna do this well laid out so there were no difference you just walked in and you you hit on the key pad to tell which ones you want to do you want the body shower heads the rain had whatever it is in the heat and then you just you know you walk off the side there any gravity only come out to your side of the bathroom which of course has its own van and its own toilet at home you know closet is on that side her closets over there and her toilets over there in her van these over so it's it's really it's two rooms but it's but the mutual shower you know what I mean right I was going to say have you seen the showers where there are jets like down below on the side of the bugs so it hits you with water from every angle I have stayed in a fancy hotel and have that kind of a that's scary but I'm going while I go in there and I don't know how to turn that stuff on Brandon is stupid you know what to call someone up there skews me I like to watch my name name but I don't know how to turn on this thing how does this work and what would have to ask somebody you know it's it's a it's a bare sick yeah not not that I always anytime you see a shower like them like all that is a level of wealth that I will never get old do you think you'll get to see that level of wealth on display from John Schneider here so there's little Twitter videos okay let me see I live pandemic stricken people and that's really odd let's talk about that more in a few minutes here some people there like whose roots living sure office of us like to there's there's hundreds of thousands of people dying record unemployment food lines people committing suicide because they lost their lost their business oh sure show us your walk in closet yeah all the old one Taylor swift.

"Just charge the batteries in the middle of the week that makes sense where are you at all well no it's it's all good we're talking to a guy earlier today on the broadcast Diego Rodriguez who is is part of the cardinals shields company and they make shower doors and they've now pivoted so they can make these plexiglass excusing glass dividers which he says the plexiglass types so that customers and clerks you're going to have separation and the the governor's new rules are out and they're talking about you know ways restaurants can help skews me sorry fired off something right here on another computer the the ways that restaurants can can make themselves more I guess accessible for rounds may come in and one of these suggestions is putting up plexiglass shields that's going to be kind of weird isn't it in between each leg C. technically restaurants should consider installation of portable or permanent non porous physical barriers such as plexiglass shields between tables wow yeah I wouldn't change the atmosphere that much because they're going to be you see through but still it's very strange it's like you're in a glass case of emotions that's what I said it's like David Blaine suspended and more a glass box above the river tam you know what it's like this is we're we're gonna have dinner in here in into the open like a hats on the topic you're feeding goldfish I mean work thank you rob it into your mouth no contact so it's good would you like birds they to it first you open your mouth and then they asked her character throw it in there I think I'll pass on that option I that's a nice image to carry away from the show isn't it but that would just be for the indoor seating because outdoor they're just gonna spread everything out and expand seating right that's the idea of only they don't really make that distinction here's what it says restaurants should you should maximize use of outdoor seating restaurants or as Toni Kroos says restaurants must be able to arrange seating so as to maintain six feet of space between seated the customers does that mean the people you're with are also six feet away I guess you have to be right the next one is this means no person can be within six feet of a person seated at another table oh okay okay okay so let's just take well I think that's doable I think a lot of seating in restaurants is pretty spaced out unless you're like an applebees in your back to back in the booth and that's where they'll use the divider shield I guess at the top and I don't know how they do don't on the end of a booth but that would really be that effective because it's not like unless you have an annoying kid that's leaning over and coughing on the my food most people don't in a wrapped when they're I don't know it just doesn't seem necessary but you wouldn't be in a booth next to someone else because like you know when a kid kicks the booth you're in the next booth or when the kid on the next with his kicking it and these kicks you in the back you're not going to be in an adjacent booth anyway anymore I doubt it know that you would have to be spaced out three homes apart right yeah there's they're saying thirty three percent capacity so the question of course is how are any of these restaurants going to make any money if you're you know what let's just say you own a candy store and the government tells you can only fill one third of your shelves it's a lot harder to make it work well you may that's when the candy stores do what all the restaurants are doing and they start selling candy flavored liquor some cotton candy brandy or something that's got a nice rhyme do it I know I still that's from a Netflix show but it still it fits the what I'm going for just a nice sour sweet candy drink in any other point that came up today than I think people were taken aback our new social distancing requirements for restaurants says this person's not living within the same household should not be permitted to sit at the same table which means the same people you're living with are the only people you're allowed to dine with in a restaurant in Leicester six feet apart like at another table is that with their logic is what do you have well here's another table when you be separated by some sort of distancing our shield well why even we don't even go yeah right well just I mean it does give families a chance to get out of the house families that live together it's just you can't really get together with anybody else currently you know because you don't know where they've been and they don't know where you've been my kids went out to play tennis a little while ago they played tennis on a court you're not long not far when there's other people there too so should I worry that they brought something from a tennis player on the next court if they do those professional handshakes after each game you're right out of it you're done what about grabbing the the the gate just to get on the court you gotta be gotta turn a little thing there and the little security hatch style that's in TalkTalk full of virus or football from the other court ends up on your court use one it with your racket none the less your record comes home with you with that on it there's a Japanese video that's out now that's fascinating they put a bunch of people around the table and they use something that was unseen to them but then they were able to put a black light on it later to show how much just the general passing the bread basket in the hole for the tongs in that that was one of the issues using the tongs to to grab this or that or whatever and then after they had their meal then they said this everybody sit where you are turn on the black lights oh my god it's like one of those detective movies where they light it up and you could see real blood is all over the walls it was crazy I would hate to be a diner I'd be suing I'd be like that's emotional distress no I mean it wasn't it wasn't intended experiment for these people who knew they were protesting something they didn't know the extent of it but it was it was all of garden no to illustrate to them yeah through the World Health quickly all this stuff moves around and gets on other services looks like that's the world we live in anyway I like I've been saying we keep testing everybody in Michael's all night they tend to me I'm negative well how do you know ten seconds later than touch a doorknob and then at that test is irrelevant I think about it constantly I went picked up food a little bit ago and even just using my shoulder to open the door into the store I mean like I'm constantly thinking R. where's my hand sanitizer I touch the charms I'm turning into you honestly and then your shoulder is filled with muck anyway from whatever's happened to the door before you a terrible we're just gonna have to live this way and just now all we've done is is panicked everybody ma'am yep I don't have it people say well what about you know they keep saying the the the death rate is going up but the other doing lots more testing so naturally it's going to it's going us show us a higher number who'll were so shocked so arguing that's going on every day by so many people is is like that's what I'm tired of more than anything else even more than isolation is the arguing else it's so exhausting it takes every second of every day just like corona virus constant right one of the three of us all meet at a restaurant after on us right we can't do that not not not so close we're talking electronically right now.

"Bax than LAKISHA and Jamal? Even if their resumes are identical. Candidates with foreign accents are less likely to get called back to even they say the exact same words. They're judged as less savvy and if you're bald guy like me you're seen as having more leadership potential if you shave your head. That's obviously why I shaved my head. In one of her studies learn discovered some surprising biopsies in hiring process at banks law firms and consulting firms. It one hundred twenty interviews with people who were charged with interviewing candidates making decisions spent nine months as a participant observer in a firm watching the recruiting process at one bank. She s leaders if they knew what predicts performance and I said across as a what do you mean? They said all the. Md's here play Lacrosse. So that's why we look for. Lacrosse player will do here as you. Do you ever hire people who don't play Lacrosse. And they said no we don't interviewers. Were convinced that playing sports was a proxy for Grit and teamwork skills but there are many other activities that can build those character strengths. To surprisingly many interviewers were less concerned about skills for the job then fit with the culture. These ideas of is cultural fit. Do you fit with me often overwhelmed. people's assessments of people's ability to do the job. Now it's important to note that when we think of cultural fit. We often hear about this as a really great thing that can boost the productivity and profitability of organizations in one hundred percent can do that if it is defined in a specific way the beneficial kind of cultural fit is not about who can swap lacrosse stories with you or even who. You're excited to hang out with research suggests that what you want is similarity in core. Values values lake flexibility or attention to detail. Sharing values tend to promote team cohesion coordination and commitment which enhances performance and retention. But what I was finding is that people were defining cultural fit very differently. It turns out that one of the ways that you both measured cultural fit either in a resume screen or in the job interview was looking if they had anything in common and what jumped out on. The resume was looking extracurricular activities. Things that were not necessarily directly relevant to the job and importantly there were very very classed. My read of your findings is that when interviewers go in looking for culture fit. They often end up weeding out. Diversity background in diversity of thought. Yes so that's scary and that led me to say okay. We'll what what can we do instead? I'm sure you've come across. The great piece from Diego Rodriguez who used to be an idea and said instead of culture fit we should think about culture agriculture contribution. And you should ask well. What's missing from our culture? And are they going to enrich it by bringing something that's absent? What do you think of that as an alternative? I think it's a great start. People have to actually have a sense and have discussions about what is actually important to us in terms of values identifying your team's values and your organization's values can help you focus on the kinds of similarities that are useful to assess structured interviews. But I'm wondering. Is that enough even with better questions. Can We? Humans really overcome biopsies. I don't think you can them? Hi Adam I hacked your episode because I might have a solution for your irrational judgment me. Ha ha ha but more on that after the break..

"I'm frankly getting kind of tired of of the whole stay at home and shelter in place and we all are. This is one of those things where we need to. Just buck up and deal with it. It sucks but it's important to make sure that people don't needlessly die because right now people are needlessly dying and there are some people who are not willing to buck up and deal with it such as a local ammon Bundy who you may recall from the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. A few years back. He led an armed insurrection against the United States government. Seizing Federal Land and destroying any artifacts and has his. Most recent thing was a defiant Easter gathering near his home in Emmett Idaho where he was hoping to get a thousand people. Together in. Defiance of the governor's shelter in place order. Yeah he was hoping to get one thousand people you WANNA guess with. The real count was sixty. Yeah he got sixty people. He also didn't run out a big space research. Nope just used a warehouse that he owns on the edge of town out of these sixty people about half when asked by. Diego Rodriguez a pastor who spoke at the event when he asked who was from out of state but half rose their hands after the event or before even During the event the people were hugging and shaking hands. Nobody wore masks or any other protective gear. There were tons of most of the vehicles. There were pickups. A LOT OF THEM HAD AMERICAN. Flags mounted some had bumper stickers promoting the three percenters militia and somebody at the entrance blow a show far which is a horn made from a horn that you blow that is actually a type of Goat Horn. It is at least loosely based on a old Jewish horn talked about in the Bible but has been taken over by Christians especially the Jews for Jesus and Masonic Jewish groups and now the Patriot movement. Which has a anti-federal movement that seeks to overthrow the federal government and replace it with a libertarian theocracy? Which of course it would be a complete oxymoron. The the pastor there the event He did say during it Quote they'll speak all manner of evil against you. They'll say that you were just trying to bring attention to yourself. They say they'll say that you are trying to destroy other people's freedoms because if you go outside and you breathe someone might die. Yes they are ammon. Bundy was just trying to bring attention to himself. The people gathering are just trying to bring attention to themselves. They have been promoting themselves in as an anti federal movement. They are actively opposing. The state government and Idaho has one of the most conservative state governments out there. One of the most liber- Libertarian state. Governments out there. And they're opposing it too so no they they are just anti-government and anybody who's truly anti-government doesn't get it like even anarchists. Some kind of government. I don't know what they're really hoping to replace the government with but obviously it's not just getting rid of the central government man. It's pretty crazy One thing that the Bundy said at the event was I think it's bad enough and our rights are infringed upon enough will physically stand in defence in whatever way we need to. I believe that is specifically what Governor Brad. Little was talking about with a hose shelter in place order when he said that he doesn't want to have to enforce it but he has activated the National Guard and will use it if he needs to. They're bringing people from out of state and outside of the little town of Emmett to an event with more than ten people to potentially spread Govett. Nineteen either from Idaho to these other states or from these other states and to the town of 'em and win. The governor threatened the use of the National Guard. That was I know. At least I interpreted as stopping travel across regions like stopping people needlessly traveling from state from out of state to say a fucking Easter event in Im- it. It's not like they're going to be having the immaturity festival this year. Kentucky has mandatory shelter. Kentucky has a similar shelter in place and advance of Easter actually two days before Easter. Good Friday governor. Andy Bashir warned that anybody who violated the stay at home order on Easter knowing that there were numerous churches threatening to ignore the order also acknowledging that while most churches and every single synagogue and mosque in the state at shut down for this time there were some that weren't and he said that anybody who went to one of them would be subject to a fourteen day mandatory self corn team with police recording license plates and sending health officials to in person place all of these people and their households on quarantine. What actually happened ended up being at least that one church Maysville baptist. Church had a full house. At least it looked like it from the parking lot Which As a general rule of thumb churches considered full when the parking lot is eighty percent full. That's when people start. Stop showing up and just drive by so yeah. If it appeared to be near near full house it was full and that was despite a heavy police presence and even some nails blocking the parking lot entrances a church member who arrived beforehand Remove the piles of of nails and they ignored. The police warnings and signs and then they police went. Oh and some people even covered up license points To make us so the police wouldn't be able to record their license plate numbers so then. The police took down license plates when they could and the numbers when they couldn't and again everyone who attended lease. Let me phrase it. The owners of the vehicles that were in the parking lot during the event and everyone else living at their address are now quarantined for fourteen days. How fucking selfish can you get like if you can? You can hope that. In each of those cases everyone in the household attended And you didn't have. People need needlessly getting quarantined. Or at least everybody's getting quarantine due to no fault of their own but that's not likely with the Baptist Church but if there was anybody in attendance who had a roommate who is a devout Christian. Yeah that sucks. You need to pick your pick your roommates better. If you're in that situation and in Virginia Bishop Gerald Glenn of Richmond's new deliverance Evangelistic Church said at one of his. Actually I believe is that his last service he attended on March twenty second quote. I firmly believe that God is larger than the dreaded virus. You can quote me on that. He happily announced that he was being controversial violating safety rules at way more than ten people in attendance and then he was diagnosed with Kovic nineteen and has now died his wife's also sick with over nineteen and according to their daughter early on her father dismissed his symptoms because he has some other health condition that often leads to fevers and infections. I'M GONNA GUESS DIABETES. And so she ignored that he nord that apparently ignoring that diabetes and and or any other health disorder that negatively impacts your immune system but she would increase risk of severe complications from Cova nineteen including death. He firmly believed that God is larger than the dreaded virus the virus that killed him.

"This is the iron comic books. Podcast I'm your host. Mike rapin with me this week to just fantastic human beings Paul Jason. Hello and Nick White. Thank you guys for being here with me this week. It is a brand new episode. It's I don't know what it is. Maybe it's because we were just talking about the survey results Zolt. I mean like I'm feeling great today. I'm feeling excited. I'm ready to talk about comic books. I've got a whole thing that I wanna tell you about when I get to my whole piece of what I've been reading but for now let me ask the question. I ask every single week and that is how have you been. How Comic Books Ben? Let's start with you. Nick thinks that Ben good. It's randomly like forty five degrees in Michigan. I don't know what's going on but The snow's going to completely melt and it's just going to be. I don't know it's GonNa be gross again. Who knows goes beyond that? I actually have been doing some reading. I know everyone has been waiting with baited breath for When isn't it going to discuss US new valiant titles? I know that's like I know there's like a valiant watch clock somewhere it's been x amount of days. You guys are going to have to go reset it because here we go So I read the visitor. One and two this is written by Paul Levitz drawn by M J. Kim Colors by Diego Rodriguez and letters I by Simon Boland and look. I know for a lot of you. Older D. C. fans out there. There's probably a whole lot of love for Levitz. His run on Legion of superheroes was a big deal. He was also the president of DC comics from Oh to own nine I'm not really sure if that final point is like worthy the of praise or booing I wasn't reading DC at the time. So maybe that's not that good of an accomplishment I don't know But my point is like for me me. I largely know him for his work on doctor. Fate which he did with Sunny Lou Maybe four or five years ago and it appears that like based on on that book in based on the visitor. That levitz is very much obsessed with placing his books in New York City and also has a thing for characters with weird helmets basically An and you MJ. Kim Is probably best known for drawing two thousand eighteen faith dream side. Now if you're thinking nick what's what's the visitor about. I'm stalling for time because I'm not really sure myself to issues in and here's the visitor. Okay guy sort of in like a all black kind of like bribing But motorcycle get up with a semi sort of motorcycle. Helmet shows up on earth. We're not even sure. He's from Arthur not from Earth. I Dunno and there's an explosion at the Japanese consulate and basically turns out these Japanese scientists scientists are in town. They're working on some ai project or something And this guy's chasing him around they go off on the run and N. T. starts following them wherever they go. You know I again like there. There's not much to be said about this book. Look I followed the backstreet boy. Line of questioning To See if I could find out who this guy is where he's from what he did. It's long as he loves me and I really don't know that much okay like it's I don't know like basically okay. Hey this is. This is my best way of explaining this book. Like someone comes to you with some file and it's mark top secret and you're like oh top secret and they're like yeah. This is a big deal. Well it's a huge secret. You won't like you can't tell anyone about this. It's it's it's amazing and you open it up and it's like ninety nine percent redacted and you're like well. I'm sure there's a great story here if I had more than three mentions of the word the to work with. But that's all I've got. Do you think that this book is going to perform better probably as a collection then like as your own issues in a row it absolutely has to like. It has no choice the issues this is like like they're getting off on the fact that like everything is cloaked ambiguity. But like. That's that's not how things work you have to give me some morsel for me to go and start connecting the yarn lines on my cork board with okay like I need a starting point like I need a foundational foundational basis to work with and and and it's not giving that there's nothing to go. I wonder about this Beyond The other kind of troubling thing. I'm noticing with this book is it does not seem concerned at all with linking to the larger valiant universe and I would basically say based on what I've observed in the last couple of months I think the M G is not that concerned. DMZ keeping Being the new majority shareholders evaluation. I think the jury is not that concerned with having a shared universe. I would say some of the recent activities would make me think they're actually Making moves to Move away from that system And if you want any further proof basically the the fact that the the bloodshot movies with Sony but the harbinger movie's GonNa be with them paramount. which more or less seals their fate? From what I understand of having a shared universe cinematic -ly Yeah I I would say that. They're not that interested in having that which is For some people will myself included. That's that's unfortunate interesting. How is the art on this book? I like MJ. Kim's art. I think it strikes a pretty good balance between In animated and realism. I think that I was reading some tweets over the last couple months months about. I think it was eleven talking about all of the work that went into rendering his vision of what he wanted to show of New York And so I mean yes if you were looking forward for a reason to finally like throw away your lonely planet guide to New York work. I guess you can do it now. If you haven't nick because he's going to show you all the spots I see beyond that I will briefly mention. I also did read British ice which is an original graphic novel by Owen. Pommery who wrote and drew it For for top shelf press It's an Arctic mystery that also sort of deals with colonialism it's got a minimalist sort of scratchy almost Edward Gorey like art style. I didn't get a lot of time with it however because PLO was down for a large amount of yesterday. That's a bummer. So Oh well yeah interesting. Well I wasn't sure if you were done. I don't know how you got in a book but you know we'll move on. Paul how are you you how have comic books back. I'm good Mike. I'm trying something new in the year. Two Thousand Twenty. I'm taking a cue from you in actually making a spreadsheet of everything. I'm reading thing so it's been pretty interesting. I've had one month to look at it. It's it's more of. It's more for me to remember when it gets to December and I can't recall what I read to make your list. That's kind of like the major reason to do it. This is literally why I started my because I was at a point where I was like. Did I read this earlier this year. The last time this issue came out was in June. I think that I read it like that. That's where I was with it right so there's that and then it is also nice to see how my reading habits have changed and I'm going to go a lot more collections. But it's almost exclusively digital thanks to HOOPLA and so finishing kind of track that stuff two things. I've read recently that I wanted to talk about out on the show First one is Dark Knight returns the Golden Child The one shot that Frank Miller wrote Raphael GRANDPA did the artwork artwork Jordan Blair on colors and of course. John Workman on letters. This came out late last year and initially. I didn't pick it up because I really didn't like Dark Knight Return Three. That Miller did a few years ago was Brian. Has and I really didn't like the Superman Year one book. That Miller did with generator junior. So I'm like maybe I don't need Frank Miller in my life at this point but I really some really positive reviews. We have right. I read some positive reviews of this one. Shot from people who taste. I really respect so I gave it a whirl and I'm glad I did. It's actually incredibly fun comic. I really really liked it It's takes place. Three years after Dark Knight returns three it has the same characters in it But instead of it being a Batman story it's dark side story and it's Miller Miller doing Kirby Oh my gosh which. I don't recall him really doing that often. And it's really interesting to see GRANDPA is able to do a mix mix of big full page full on Kirby dark side stuff and then the next page would be an image to the original darkness returns Miller style. The way he's able to jump between the two is really interesting. It's absolutely breathtaking moments in terms of visual art work at George Colors. Of course like just make the pages pop you know so in a really interesting way with that art work and even Workman's letters stood out to me. I think everyone involved in this book. That's an all star murderers row lineup of craters for me. Right totally and they all bring their a game and I'm just stunned. How much I enjoyed it? I mean there's some like ham fisted political commentary. You're getting the main plot or that dark side teams up. What the joker to rig the election but when it gets the point we're dark side is basically destroyed and gets reborn outer space? You're looking at these pages like this is the greatest thing thing I've ever seen over the top Kirby esque in a way. I don't think Miller does very often. It's really cool to see. So that's that's that's great to hear I mean I I would I would. I was looking up Ravi GRANDPA's art and I can see why Miller would wanna work with him like. It's very reminiscent of Miller's work but like it's very unique in the same way there's a couple pages where I think GRANDPA's purposely doing Miller's inking style and then there's other pages where he's doing himself and and yet there's a there's one page I don't WanNa give anything away but it's one page. We just see dark side being like reborn as a star in outer space and it's breathtaking the cool images I've seen in a long time and Incredibly Fun Comic for his So if you've given up on Miller Kinda curious I think he's still got a few tricks up the sleeve. This one might be worth checking out. Especially if you love Kirby it's it's a pretty amazing homage to to Jack Their cool The other big surprise I read was Peter Cannon Thunderbolt Five issue mini series from dynamite. That came out last year but I hadn't heard of until I started singing in everyone's best of the year list so complete. We'd Ashby by is written by Karen. Gillan art by Casper. wingaard colors Bhai Mary so fo and letters by Hassan El. How and of course they butchering the same wolf to add that to the pronunciation guide? Yeah it sounds like so I do want to make special mention the letters though because this book If you don't know Peter Cannon Thunderbolt is one of the Charlton comics characters that DC bought in the eighties. And that. Elmore based the watchmen. c'mon characters on right so when the Blue Beetle and the question Peter Cannon basically is Mantius analog this book is as it's not quite a sequel but it is a commentary on watchmen..

"And again I will be here next Friday as well for your listening pleasure issue sort of thing anyway we've been talking about the impeachment stuff and the sham and that's all gonna keep going but like any but they're they're still that segment the believe that trump is it going to be impeached at that segment of Republicans were still think I don't think they'll do it out of the I think we've all resigned ourselves to it or should have if you haven't there is no way given the fact that they're going for with the articles of impeachment there is no way that he does not get impeached absolutely no way what they're doing now it behind closed doors if they haven't already done it what they're doing is they're making sure they have the votes to impeach while allow wing for the for the Democrats that were elected in twenty eighteen in strong trump districts to vote against it so they were making sure they have enough votes to still impeach while allowing the the Democrats who may pay a political price for it because people like closely they're not gonna pay a political price shifts not gonna pay a political price but there are Democrats in hard core Republican districts red districts trump districts whatever you wanna call it that could end up paying a political price for voting for it so they're making sure they have all their ducks in a row in there making sure they have all the votes if they haven't done it already in order to make sure that the at the the Democrats that are in red distress can vote against it if they need to either that or there are making sure there some political capital there for the Democrats in the trump districts who vote for it and still might pay a price there of it in the next couple of years they're still that opportunity so they'll get committee seats bribes kickbacks all against that that's what they're making sure of right now because remember the idea isn't to impeach truck truck the truck just a tool in the game is in to maintain power the Democrats are trying to work this to where they maintain control the house get control of the Senate regardless of what happens to truck in in twenty twenty and by the way even if they a lot of people think well probably get control the Senate even if they do they'll still need sixty seven votes to removed from which is ridiculous why they're even going forward with this anyway knowing that trumps not going to be removed from office are really punished in any way in fact will be acquitted of what's going on a look there's still a selection of people out there mouth readers and vomits followers who believe that the Donald Trump if he's a pizza I mean he's not a medically roof removed from office I guarantee you they're going to be people who cheer when the impeachment vote happens and they vote for impeachment because they think that means trump is gonna be remote impeachment is just the process people that's all this impeachment is the hearing in the Senate that's all this all right by the way one other side not somebody asked me the other day what's the a standard a good reasonable doubt preponderance of the evidence or anything like that when it comes for the senators voting to convict trump during the impeachment trial there is no the constitution does allow for one the constitution does not say but with regards to impeachment beyond a reasonable doubt it does not say preponderance of the evidence which leaves it was probably done intentionally because it leaves a wide of swappable latitude for the senators themselves to decide for themselves meeting it could very well be a political reason and they could justify it they'll probably go by reasonable doubt if any of them you know bother to think about it at all it's more than likely going to be voted on political lines which means he will be he will be convicted that's just all there is to it you will be convicted he will be centered he will be removed from office very simple reason they have no proof that he did anything wrong not right now but they're going forward because it's politics in zero fifty six seventy eight that's eight zero Kay and I see what we come "In new york city is superseded the puerto rican population as puerto ricans have moved on up and moved on out to the show burbs there in west chester there in orange county there over in rockland county they've moved to other environs so filling the void have been dominicans there are now more dominicans in new york city in the five boroughs and they were all puerto ricans a lot of people are completely oblivious to that and like any ethnic group they've had a history of gangs i remember clashing with them in the eighties jfk high school which is right up near where inwood meets the bronx and the ball busters ran that school was an old mimicking gang and they terrorize people in washington heights and inwood along with jerry curls cool who were the big dope dealers on broadway she had these two major groups that established themselves in the eighties they then war torn apart pie internal battles and then also naturally by the many police arrest and in their place emerged to groups of a new generation the ddp dominicans don't play and the turning the titles and they've been at war with one another in mostly dominican section so it's outta sight outta mind for most but they become a growing menace to society because their trademark he's just like ms thirteen they like to attack the victims with sharpen machetes they liked to slice you in the jugular they liked to whack hoffpauir parts of your body if at all possible arms limbs fingers and basically leave what they call a trophy but these guys training i must tell you rita cosby they have a history of getting the wrong person i remember we were dealing with them in two thousand fifteen in patterson in which the taros stabbed and broke bottles over man they will only talk was part of a rival group and then just last year they had to close down the annual cities dominican festival because the trini taros will battling with one another because they didn't even recognize one another as being philo twenty towers because you had guys coming in from new york city who are mixing with guys from passaic county zoos group that although they have leadership they they can't seem to go after the targets it always seemed to get the wrong victims what a mess and in this particular case as we know this guy this fifteen year old they were not targeting him they thought he was the guy who was involved in the sex tape with one of their bodies and so it turned out to be with one of the girls one of their relatives and it turned out to be this huge mistaken identity and it was so heartbreaking on this recent case curtis it breaks my heart i hear it it's all of a sudden you hit the biden standards are screaming saying oh blank stop stop stop the by tanners could do nothing had happened so fast it was so vicious and here they were as you point out there using a machete and they are just brutally killing this guy eleven forty pm he's left there to die screaming and bystanders are just panicking and horrified well the house for these trenitalia switch over in passaic county in patterson in third ward on twenty four th street they now have under arrest jose tha virus manual rivera san diego rodriguez jose munich's jonky martinez and daniel fernandez who is considered the ringleader there all be extradited back to new york city there are others that are wanted remember you have to shepherd attacks taking place and it says really gripped the soul of the city because basically saying many people this happen whether these groups com well you know when they percolate under the surface when they pray only on their own unless there is a vicious style killing mistaken killing as we've seen in this particular situation it's odd decide on my well let's open up our phone lines show on number one eight hundred eight four eight wabc.
