"The throat. So bad today. I don't know if it's the allergy change or if I'm coming down with something I'm Super Bert Nervous. I'M GONNA GET CORONA virus But my throat is killing me. It's like my throat in my ears. They're connected that's basic anatomy. So so I this. This case has always intrigued me. The Michelle Carter murder suicide by text message Back a couple of years ago it was three or four years ago I had just finished. High School There were national headlines of this girl and her name was Michelle. Carter Out of Massachusetts and she was convicted guilty of killing her boyfriend. Even you know so. She apparently told him several times over. Text message you know. He was struggling with depression and stuff and she told him several times. Sometimes you need to kill yourself you know. Today there's no day but today you need to do it. You've been saying you're going to do it for a while. So she was telling him to end his life and he eventually did into his life by carbon monoxide and she was tried and found guilty for his murder and sentenced to prison. She was months away from being tried as an adult because she was seventeen. But so she got a light lenient sentence which is total BS and she officially walks free. As of a couple of days ago she's free and she's she's out for being a model model citizen in prison so Michelle. Carter was originally supposed to be sentenced to two two point five years and her trial ended up being she ended up being sentenced for fifteen months. Didn't even serve eleven months she it was released after eleven months for killing someone like and the case is super interesting because no one ever like the jury you know no one ever before had dealt with a kind of murder suicide by like through text wchs message and so the law was really fuzzy when it came to having her serve and giving her jail time because this is something that no one had ever had ever seen before you know there hasn't really been a case like this but as social media and mobile media and all all of this stuff progresses as we get into a screen like culture. This was inevitable to kind of happen. as we live our lives in front of our screens and not face to face things happen. And you know Oh crimes change and this just happened to be the first one. So it's so interesting because the jury in the courts struggled to give her sentence because they've never seen this before it's absolutely heartbreaking because the boy I believe his name was Conrad. Rod Roy they were in kind of like a long distance relationship so they didn't see each other face to face a lot and they both struggled with mental health issues so automatically that relationship was like toxic and unhealthy because it was based off of you know both both of them being mentally ill talking to each other and I don't know if it was kind of a like a buddy buddy accountability partner. You're like Oh you know I'm GonNa hold you accountable for your own suicide. It sounded you know you have to be insane out of your mind mind in mentally unhealthy to convince somebody to take their own live. Lives and think you know nothing's going to come of it. There's a documentary that I really WanNa Watch called I love you now die the Commonwealth versus Michelle Carter and it's produced and directed by Aaron Lee Car Dr who also produced mummy dearest. So the Didi Gypsy Rose Lee like case. And that's I feel like it's that one was different. Because in her case her mother was grooming her and feeding her all of this. Yes you know false information completely cutting off her chances of living in normal life and so you know whenever she found out she did I would think is a pretty she was angry. I feel like that's a pretty normal response to have whenever you feel like you've been lied to an isolated your whole life and she killed her mother. I feel like there's more leeway there than this case but this documentary is directed by Aaron Car and the documentary is interesting and I want to watch it because from what I've read it goes further than just you. I know she. She told him to kill yourself. Kill himself like it goes deeper examines her mental illness and his mental illness her diagnoses and from the reviews. I've Read P. It's an incredibly interesting documentary because people are saying it's not all with the the case is not all that it's presented to be the media. Portrayed her her to be worse than she actually was which is crazy to me because on the outside it seems like you're killer. There's nothing more to it your psychopath but I I want to watch the documentary just to see you know there's information that is not readily available to the general public if you're just watching the news this this series it's like this documentary series is on Hbo and it's a series and parts and it goes takes you through the trial the murder and basically what happened was Michelle Carter D- Conrad Roy was texting her like Apparently he had planned lance to kill himself via carbon monoxide in his car and he was in the process of doing it and decide to stop and get out of his truck he was going to put it in the garage. And just leave it on. You know pretty painless of like in comparison to what you could do and so he was texting her. I'm having second thoughts and she said get back in the truck and she just kept urging him on you know. Do it just do it. You don't WanNa live like this anymore to me. It seems like they had kind of like a murder suicide pact. That is just not being explained to the general public. Because that's a thing you know people the whole each other accountable for that kind of stuff but also something that might go against that is commercial Carter. Who had no friends was very socially reclusive? She used his suicide to get attention from the the people are so. That's a little bit of a shy St motive but this is the documentaries called. I love you now die by Commonwealth versus Michelle Carter and it's an HBO series. I don't know where to find it. I figured out you know this just came out a couple of days ago whenever she walked free. So I'M GONNA check that out and I'll probably do a review on it over on the TV news. PODCAST next up. The AH branch are having their third child Savannah Lebron from Youtube Coal and SAV has been confirmed pregnant and she just just released they just released their gender via video. "Talking to her on the phone. Rod and his second wife regularly tried to visit but Didi would always find ways to change plans. DD told friends and neighbors that chips. He Rose's father was an abusive drug addict, who had never come to terms with his daughter's health issues, abandon them and never sent the money. When rod called on gypsies eighteenth birthday, he recalls, DeeDee telling him not to mention their daughters real age since she thinks she's fourteen and presumably because she didn't want to lose her cash cow. Before long specialists all over the country were reaching out to Didi gypsy rose to see if there was anything they could do for her condition. One of these doctors, a pediatric neurologist named Bernardo flatter Stein offered to see her at his clinic not only deductor fluster stain notice the gypsy did not appear to have muscular dystrophy. She appeared to be a perfectly healthy child. I don't see any reason why she doesn't walk. He told Didi noting that she was not a good historian of her daughter's medical history. Didi quickly dismissed him telling gypsy, but they would not be back to see this doctor. But Dr fluster Stein decided to investigate suspecting that Didi in fact was the sick one. Dr flasher seen believed that Didi had Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a mental health problem in which a caregiver makes up or causes illness or injury in a person, under their care, like a child or an elderly adult and began making calls to doctors in New Orleans, though, Didi claimed that the hurricane had washed away, all of gypsy, rose records. Dr flatter Stein was able to find doctors whose records had survived, and who remember DMZ these doctors confirmed that gypsy was in fact, a perfectly healthy girl confirming his suspicions about Didi. Unfortunately, for gypsy, although the doctor documented his suspicions in a report, he never alerted the authorities. But in two thousand nine winning anonymous report was made with authorities stating that DVD's accounts of gypsies conditions were fabricated to case workers visited their home. But Didi handily convinced them that there was nothing to worry about. By now. Gypsy rose had her own suspicions. In two thousand ten though DD had told everyone that gypsy was fourteen gypsy rose Blanchard was, in fact, nineteen years old. Gypsy knew that she wasn't sick or at least, not as sick as her mother claimed she was. When she found her birth certificate listing her birth year, as nineteen Ninety-one DD told her that it was a typo..

Now, here's gypsies attorney, Mike Stanfield and psychiatrists Mark Feldman who studies much housing center. I don't think calling gypsies sheltered would do Justice daughter was an Esa hostage Dedi betray gypsy horribly betrayed her. And like I said, I take no pleasure in speaking ill someone that's passed. But that woman I'm sorry is she just was a sorry excuse for a mother. And when you look at everything she did to this innocent child bestest sorry excuse for human being. I'm sorry. I don't wish her dad. I absolutely do not. I think she should have been held accountable, but not hacked to death. But as I said, I don't think she was mentally ill. I think she was just a terrible abuser. And she's the one who should have been sent to prison for everything she did gypsy. But yet here's gypsy in prison. She crippled you for years. She kept you in a wheelchair. She kept. You wanna feeding to? She got all of these. Medications that you were on and good Lord. It's staggering. She had you diagnosed with asthma hyperventilation epilepsy. Hearing and vision impairment, GI reflux put you on a feeding too much dystrophy quadriplegia mild mental retardation as she called it. A Nimia allergies leukemia incontinence, lung disease, heart disease, heart murmur, all of these things they had you on pages and pages of medications, many of which have side effects that mimic the diseases that she said you had. So she's giving you medications that cause some of the the slowing of the nerve impulses at cetera that would mimic cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy or some of the diseases that she reported. So if someone's not suspect, they go, well, you know, there's a little I can see where this being the early stages or something it wouldn't be a red flag. If they check something you ring set up these things could cause you to mimic these diseases. Why would she do that to you? I don't know. Well, I know data may gypsy sick on purpose. We talked about that before. When you hear the details. It will make your blood boil. We're back with our exclusive interview with gypsy rose Blanchard behind bars. Now, she was born Blanchard. But her mother remember added an e so she would have a little extra flare to her name a speculate. That's why she did it maybe she was hiding from something. I don't know think for a minute about how you might be a bit squeamish or even terrified when you go into the hospital for a minor operation. Now magin how bad it must have been for little gypsy in the twenty four years. She lived with her mother Didi gypsy was literally cut up from dozens of major surgeries every single one of them unnecessary, and that doesn't count all of the pokes and prods and biopsies and blood studies and needles. And invest not bad enough. Now, her mother is telling her she has cancer. He had been told you Kimia rights, and she said, let's shave your head because it's gonna fall out will at least keep it even. But you now know she wanted you look like cancer patient. She warp you. She wore personality. She warp your mind. She worked here. More compass. In the beginning s and drew my life. Yes. In trying to change that she taught me how to be good liar. A very good liar without any conscious. And I'm changing. I'm trying to be good person. Now, I don't want to be like my mother and nothing like her if anything it's a trick too much now. Like is that she is a co conspirator that her mother had co opted her into gather, they were the fraud. It's like I say when I'm talking to child has been molested in childhood they feel guilty because they were involved they feel guilty because they participated in. They sometimes tell me they feel guilty because there were times that they actually enjoyed it. And so they feel bad and they feel guilty. And always tell him the same thing. I say you had zero accountability for what happened to us a child and one hundred percent responsibility for what you do about it now. So I don't hold gypsy accountable for what her mother coerced and brainwashed her and controlled her into doing as a child, and she is being held accountable for it now in prison, but do I hold her responsible for not standing up in that doctor's office against this jailer mother that has this psychological power and control over her. No, I don't I don't think child has the ab-. Ability to do that knowing that she's then going to go home with that woman behind closed doors, and God only knows what's going to happen to her. Now, I know of explain much housing by proxy, but it's pretty hard to wrap your head around. So why would d- do such despicable things to our own flesh and blood, frankly, we don't know we don't know what causes much houses by proxy, even those that consider it a mental illness. Don't know what's the causation. There doesn't seem to be a big genetic component pass from generation generations. We just really don't know what the pro Drome will is what leads up to it. What triggers it? We just really don't know. It's usually women rather than men, but we don't know what causes it, and it's a real baffling situation because sometimes it happens apparently without any external rewards. That's not a puzzle in this case because there was lots of external rewards here. There was cash there was a. Attention. There was admiration. There was hero worshipped. She was a martyr. So there was lots of secondary gain for her here. But whether you consider it, mental illness or just an abuser. We really don't know what causes it. And I wish I could tell you more. But we simply don't know. And I would just be speculating, and I don't think that's in anybody's best interest. What's important is that you look for the signs and know how to spot it when it occurs. She certainly got all different kinds of currency by making her daughter suffer such misery. But the main thing was she was a very, greedy woman and she wanted easy money. Our money Wayman are the appearance of a long financial fraud scheme. That's Jim are not the sheriff in Greene county, Missouri. He says Didi was running a big scam off a gypsies fake illnesses that seems to be an understatement. I mean, do the math add up the cost of dozens of surgeries expensive medications, the monthly disability checks, and it comes to hundreds of thousands of dollars in. Vermont assistance when it's a six figure fraud, not to shy from the million dollar, Mark. And guess who paid for tax payers pay for it in spades? The woman ripped off tax dollars to support her scam for nearly a quarter of a century. And that's only what the government shelled out Didi also do private charities to give her and gypsy free vacations helicopter rides to hospitals for emergencies. She got tens of thousands of dollars in tax deductible. Donations from good Samaritans that could ill afford it. I'm sure they

"Search of the house may miss a lot may miss allied. I mean, a lot to prescription pad foun, and then the bed that d- stole from mercy hospital, the Byner of everything she's told her doctors. And you know, there was a lot a detail binder listing gypsies conditions something you'd expect from a caregiver, right? I mean, you expect them to have records but a blank prescription pad. Why would Dedi even have that? She's not entitled to have that. That's not even legal. She should not have a blank prescription pad. She's a nurse's aide, not an MD. Doctors are the ones who write the prescriptions. Not the mother of a patient. There's no reason she should have that DD has a closet filled to the brim with dozens of medications powerful drugs like Taghrid hall, which is an anti-convulsant used to treat seizures. It's powerful medication. It can be very effective. But if you don't need it, and you take it. It can be a problem. If you're using it off label, you're taking it ways not supposed to be taken. And of course, it can create side effects, and they believe that may have contributed to rotting gypsies teeth from the inside out leaving her with huge gaps. In her smile Christie says after she found a blank. Scriptum pad. She was just shell shocked wondering what mischief Didi was up to. She wandered. What is she doing with this? And is she using this to con- somebody is she getting bills that she shouldn't have what is she doing? And you would think that would be kind of the end. But she says what she discovered next topped everything. They're cleaning their house feminine neighbors came by and they kept telling ride. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, quite telling him some, you know, be sorry. Some of my sister was like why you tell brother, you know, you'll sorry. And they say, well, they had a son was young men gypsy in and die. Rarely learned that supposedly gypsy had a little brother a son Dedi never told rod about a son born long after rod split up from Didi. Well, you can be pretty sure she would let him know all about it. He would have been on the hook for child support for both gypsy and the. Ron christie. Both say they knew that was a beau face lie and Christie, six cents kicked in. So she showed the neighbors recent photo of her son Dylan and just ask them is this the boy that Dedi has talked about. And we showed a picture of Dylan of how he looked now. And I yeah, that's that looks like him. But he's older and know that that's our son he's alive. And well, so ver prob too Christie to ask the neighbors some very probing questions about Didi and the mystery side, and she says what DD supposedly told them was just all. It was very disturbing DD told them. Her and rod were still married toll some that they weren't married anymore. That the reason why she'll have Louisiana was that. She was in fear of her of use of husband. Supposedly the reason Didi gypsy left New Orleans was because Hurricane Katrina destroyed their home in remember rod divorce DD nearly two decades earlier while she was still pregnant with gypsy. "All right now. What now what oh, I know something I have to hear your opinion. Okay. Suits. Did. You hear about this video that went viral of a mom who through a Bill bear party for her daughter. No, oh my gosh. I can't believe you didn't hear this. Okay. So this mom came on read it and shared this story about a birthday party that her daughter went to daughter's friend. I think she was turning. I wanna say like eight or something like little like that. She's you know, I can't remember how old is turning. But does matter. So the mom held the party at build a bear. And there were eight guests there, and they all are like, you know, these little kids. Yeah. Little like seven or something. They're like super excited building their bears having so much fun. And then as they were leaving the host mom demanded that all the kids that give the toy that they made to her daughter. And then one little boy resisted in the birthday girl ripped the toy out of his hand. No. Yup. And this is the crazy part that the parents even pitched in money to pay like it's not like they were just building them for free. The parents like this parent paid thirty dollars for the bear engineering realized that the bear wasn't going to be for her daughter. That is totally outrageous, right? Yeah. I knew I know about this. I would not stand for it. No me neither and use this to really send a message. And what do you do in that moment? What is who has that little discernment to understand that you do not ask little kids to give away their own toy for your crazy? That's sick. That's his bad as that lady to have the skin lampshades. Oh. Just the quote says that one of the quote says they all disappointingly handed over their animals, and the friend wasn't even being nice about it either. Another little boy didn't want to and the friend ripped it out of his hand. That was like a direct quote kids. Not gonna have any friends now know either joke, you're gonna have a bunch of bears. Only did you have. And mom of mom and some stuffed bears. Oh my God. She's going to be one of those Didi gypsy rose to the news though, because that was posted on Reddit, and then people on Twitter just went crazy with it. And they're like what the hell. Do you ever have a like a? Any of those stories from like birthday parties or play Steph when you're little where you like got in trouble for not sharing or somebody didn't share with you? And it turned into thing. I never did. But only 'cause I think I really didn't. I really wasn't going to a lot of those things and I wasn't allowed to have any parties like that. But I. I'm gonna throw you like a million birthday parties makeover I feel like now when I take Lincoln departments. Everybody has an under control because it's usually organized by somebody at at a location, and so there's like a Bill your build a bear would have been exactly why wasn't anyone. I guess they can't tell them what to do with their crazy. What I went to build a bear on my own to get a gift for somebody. And the worker made me make a wish on the damn heart. No, I do not remember that stuff. And I was like, no, that's okay. Just go ahead. And she was like no fuse have to make a wish Mike. Oh my God. My wishes that this nightmare is. They make the kids. Make a wish on these stupid hearts these stuff in the bear. Oh my gosh. That's super funny that says would do. Yeah. I'd probably worked to build a bear. You would want it to be like super positive? Why couldn't do like like I understand? The line. Oh god. I love people who just don't get it though, come on. Yeah. That mom though. Really dumb. I that leads me to topic. I wanted to bring up along the same lines, which is you. Do you follow any tree don't need? Do. You follow any? Mommy, bloggers or anything. Yeah. I actually do..

"Wrong. Let me warn you. This post was graphic as well. It said her scream was so effing loud. LL? This sent chills down their spine. Now want you to make a middle note here because these Facebook posts will prove to be very important in the investigation of this case, not only in helping to solve it. But it also speaks volumes about the psychological makeup of the culprits. Now once the France, see these two posts they immediately call D on the phone. There's no answer worried. They drop what they're doing. And they run to her house. No, one answers the door. They try to peer into the windows, but they're covered with a thick protective film making it impossible to see inside. Now, they immediately dismissed the idea that d- gypsy took an unannounced. Visit to see the doctor or just are gone on an outing because the specially modified car that holds gypsies wheelchair is still parked in the driveway. They can't go anywhere without that car. Now, they're really worried so they call nine one one nine one one what's your emergency? The deputies quickly arrived. I mean, they're they're in minutes, but they cannot lawfully enter the house until they obtain a search warrant. And as they're waiting for the warrant to be issued one of the friends in the neighborhood volunteers to crawl through a tiny window and look inside for signs of life. He's in house for less than just a few minutes. You know, he had to smell the body decomposing. But he is quick back out that window because he is really unsettled. And he tells deputies he saw gypsies to wheelchairs, the only two she has. Inside. The friend is now doubly concerned because he's never seen gypsy without her wheelchair. Now after some anxious hours of waiting in. Yeah. I said hours. The search warrant is finally in hand they set out in front of that house for hours. Who knows what's going on behind those doors, but they sit outside because nobody answers, and they don't have a legal right to go inside what they have the warrant the front doors lock. So deputies busted down this when they find eighties body in the bedroom. And in those few seconds. This. Once quiet neighborhood is now a major crime scene. Now, a national story. Sheriff's deputies seal off the house and surround the yard with yellow caution tape and begin the grim task of processing the evidence. But to see us I team quickly noticed his two key things are missing. I where is the murder weapon. Now, remember, the deputy saw trail of blood leading from the bedroom to the kitchen, and they find bloody paper towels in the kitchen trash can. Now, again, make note here because this is a major psychological clue who savagely hacked someone to death in their sleep splattering, blood everywhere. And then tidies up around the place with paper towels and throws them away in the wastebasket in the kitchen at the crime scene. Not very careful or thoughtful. But on the other hand, the bloody knife isn't anywhere in the house. In second. And much more important. Where is gypsy rose? She couldn't have just run away to save herself. Not without her wheelchair. She's the only witness to the murder and she is nowhere to be found. Headquarters issues all points bulletin for gypsy safe return, but with no description of the suspects. It's impossible at this time to know who deputies are looking for. Detectives are working on the assumption that gypsy is still alive because how would anyone outside her close circle of friends have known about the Facebook page. She shares with her mother, they theorize optimistically that her doctors have kept her alive and are forcing her to give them the password. So they could post on the Facebook page. But why why why would they even want to do that? The psychology of this killer is breaking all the moles. Who? Commits this kind of a murder. Gets away. And then wants to start posting about it on the victim. Social media counts. This killer is unconventional motivated by something not yet figured out. And that is scary to say the least. Because when you are dealing with somebody unconventional that means they're unpredictable based on the savagery of the attack Springfield sheriff department assume that this is a male. At our majorly concerned that he or they have gypsy rose outside the perimeter of the yellow crime scene tape. Neighbors are gathering shocked and scared out of their wits. "On apple podcast or on your favorite podcast app. As I said earlier this killer. This maniac was not from Springfield. He came in from out of town and arrive under the cover of darkness stealthily, stalking the streets of this sleepy Springfield suburb. He's on a sick demented mission for a victim who will quenches thirst for blood. He is a killer. But he is so much more. This monster is the bodyman of evil. He walks down the dead end street in a quiet neighborhood casting his evil eye on each house. He passes by. Which house will choose which houses e looking for. And why why how does he know this woman he doesn't even live in the state, and she hasn't been more than probably ten miles from home since she moved to Springfield this woman like you. And I. She peacefully went about getting ready for bed. Just a few hours ago brushing, her T's putting on something comfortable getting her bed ready and slipping off to asleep that you can imagine a single mother of terminally ill child with multiple diseases to manage would probably welcome at the end of a long day. And she pulls those covers up around her neck as she closes her eyes. She has no clue that she will never see the morning light. Never smell the aroma of morning coffee. She has no clue. The will all in tonight. Her executioner is standing in the shadows. He standing on her front porch. She lives in the seventh house. And that's where he stopped. He's inside that house in the blink of an eye completely undetected by this tired mother. He moves almost as though he strangely has a sense of precisely where to go. And once inside that room. He's over her like a dark shadow. And with the slash of his knife. He turns that seventh house. On the sleepy suburban St.. Into a house of horrors breaking this morning thirties are investigating a homicide just north of Springfield the moment sheriff's deputies enter the modest home, the stale smell of death overcomes them. It's the unmistakable odor of a dead body with their guns. Drawn the deputies carefully walk inch by inch through the livingroom pass the kitchen following a trail of blood leading to the bedroom. They cautiously crack open the door their guns, cocked and ready. They don't know what they're going to find. But when they look on the bed, they see the body of an obese middle age woman. Lying face-down. She's drenched in blood the scene screams violence. The normally unfazed deputies are stunned. They're shaken by the sheer brutality of the murder. They would later say that they had never seen anything like it before. The murder this grisly. Just never happened in Springfield, Missouri. Until now, the killing was savage vicious and fierce this woman's white shirt, her pink sheets calico covered pillows are all caked with dried blood she had apparently been dead for several days. And she had been stabbed many times. It would be much later before the medical examiner could determine it was actually seventeen separate stab wounds. But for now for these officers, it just looked like a scene from the Hitchcock film psycho police reports say this mad slasher must have surprised her while she was fast asleep. Pathologic reports indicated the first plunge of the serrated knife was buried deep into her back. It had to bow shock her awake. And incapacitate her at the same time terrorize she screams out in excruciating pain, and then cries out for her daughter gypsy gypsy helped me then according to the medical examiner the second plunge the knife slices straight into her neck. Her blood curdling screams echo off the walls. Help me. Help me gypsy gypsy. The third thrust of the knife gets caught up in her lungs the killer had to forcefully, yank it out the sharp tease of the coal steel blade rips. Her flesh splashing pints of blood onto the bed the walls and even the ceiling. She's now too weak to fight off the savage monster her screams are now. But if I ain't whisper. She's begging for mercy. His price of dude. The predator goes in for the kill. Stabbing again and again and again and again in as the seventeenth plunge the knife slices into her battered body. There is silence. Bitter death has closed her eyes forever. He Blanchard mother of gypsy rose Blanchard was dead and she hadn't just been killed. She had been overkilled. This was personal. This was vengeance. This was unbridled off the chain rage. But why and where was this wheelchair-bound chronically ill terminal girl, she had just disappeared into thin air, panic, gripped, Springfield, Missouri. You're listening to the killer. Thorn of gypsy rose analysis of murder by Dr Phil promise you at the beginning. That it wasn't just going to tell you a story. I wasn't just going to report on a crime. I told you that I was going to analyze this was going to unpack it. I was going to break it down for you from a psychological perspective from a forensic, psychological perspective and take you inside the minds of each and every player involved in this tragic drama. The one person I didn't speak to. Was d- Blanchard, but you are going to hear from her because she was as I said a bit of a hero in Springfield, Missouri. So she had been on television. And you're going to get a chance to hear some of her thoughts. What I'm interested in? From her perspective is what thoughts go through someone's mind. Not just when they're dying. But when they're being killed. In her last moments on earth de Blanchard's. Final thoughts surely must have been about her young daughter gypsy rose. These two were inseparable. In gypsies paralyzed in a wheelchair. She's fighting cancer. She's fighting many diseases. She is totally dependent on her mother. Her mother had to be thinking if I'm leaving this earth. What's going to happen to my daughter? There's no one to take care of her who would take care of this little girl after she's gone. With homicide. Detectives pull the bloodstained sheets away from DVD's lifeless body. They instantly realize. This is not a random attack. This is targeted. It's payback. With payback for what why would anyone kill Didi? The murder makes little sense because all the neighbors loved and admired Didi and gypsy rose. They were well known for their courage in battling gypsies numerous illnesses. The murder investigation began with what would have normally been a routine radio. Call sheriff's deputies were dispatched to eighties house on a wellness check. And believe me that kind of thing happens all the time. But this time was different. A couple of DVD's friends alerted the sheriff after they saw a mysterious and vulgar post on the Facebook page Didi gypsy share now let me warn you. The post is very graphic. It said. I think slash that fat pig and raped her sweet innocent daughter now when two friends saw the post they thought the course language was very uncharacteristic of Didi. She never talked like that she never cursed online. They I thought well, maybe she's commenting on some kind of horror movie. But again because they've never heard her use that harsh language. They just don't think that's the case. They can't make sense of it. So now, they believe that maybe someone has hacked into her Facebook page, but who who other than her very close friends even know that Didi and gypsy have a Facebook page. And if they knew at how would they get access to it? I mean, everything has a password, right? Then just a very few minutes later, an even more chilling message was posted. And that's when the friends realized something was horribly wrong.

"As it's told in the act gypsy begins to believe that her mother was making things up gypsy soon. Started a secret life which included an online relationship with a man named Nick go to John in two thousand fifteen the two conspire to kill DD. Now, the real gypsy is serving a ten year sentence for that murder and her sentence was reduced because of the history of abuse found in her medical records. Go to John meanwhile is serving a life sentence. But as Joey king points out, the act is as much a coming of age story about gypsy as it is about her mother's murder as gypsy got older, she became a different person when she was alone very much. But the person that she presented to her mother and also to other people still remained pretty much the same. In which is why you know, people didn't really know how old gypsy was gypsy barely even knew how old she was because deviated from her, but you know, one I mean, you'll see her age and mature sure. But like when she's around DD in front of other people, she still, you know, puts on that front of like, I'm twelve years old, and I love stuffed animals, and this is who I am. And I love my, mommy. And then when she's alone, she's become this, totally different human being who's kind of like has a secret nightlife of her own eating sugar face timing her boyfriend, having, you know, sexy FaceTime calls like, it's all crazy. How how much of a contrast there is as the series goes on from her private life to the life that she puts out to the public and it wasn't by choice either. I mean, she was she was scared to death of her mom. So scared that she, you know, she became I think she became a master manipulator for the purpose of surviving. What do you think? It was that scared her the most. That's a good question. I I honestly don't know. What scared her the most? I couldn't answer that. But if I were to guess, I mean, I'd have you know, I am not gypsy. But if I were to guess, I'd say that I think the fear of hurting her mother emotionally and the fear of her mother hurting her and the fear of losing her mom were also present while also. You know, she wanted to break away from her mother. But I don't think she ever wanted her mother to be gone from her life. Even when she met nNcholas go to John online before they decided to commit the horrible crime that they did against Didi. They tried to get DD to meet him and to like him and it failed. I mean Didi gypsy desperately wanted her mother to be part of her life in a positive way. But once she saw that that wasn't possible. She saw no escape, and you know, she did what she did. Unfortunately..
