"Buy you get a dollar deduction from tax so if you make a million dollars you need to borrow money so that you can buy five million dollars of assets so that you can offset that means of income pay four hundred thousand dollars on that million dollars of income so what the government saying is look if you borrow money and bhai more assets. You'll pay less tax and what's funny as twice. You're on the phone with kenny. Begging can i need more debt. Yeah i mean you you you have a lot of guys that can right they need. Yeah yeah yeah. I mean but i'm in the same boat is i mean we all are. We all know that that has the debt is your friend you know. Why wouldn't you borrow other people's money by real estate and then have other people pay it off and then you get a tax write offs income tax benefits for that one more thing. Because what tom this is it. If we sell our property we flip it tax consequences alway flipping you. Do you have ordinary. You have regular ordinary income. Sheriff flipper so if i if i borrow out the equity what is that. That's not taxable because that's not taxable chemistry while we do that is what we do is what we do and i wanted to say to kenny's point. I bet there's a lot of people watching this right now. That are going. Oh yeah that's good but you know the prices are too high today so there's no deals out there and we just closed down a deal a few weeks ago. You cam i. I'm an accountant. So i always look at the numbers. I'm going if if if the money that's coming in is more than the money that's going out. Who cares exactly. There are a lot of opportunities out there even though markets are kinda crazy right now if you know what you're looking for. But on the fiftieth anniversary. I think this is really funny. Like bezos branson. Out of those guys are writing the rocket ships and kim just butter but sixty right tom. Why was buying her own learjet. It's not. It's not a rocket ship but it's pretty fast. It actually is a rocketship tax break for kim. Well actually then asset right. So what i've noticed about you and kim as you guys never by a liability. You always buy an asset. So you're always find something that's gonna produce income while what the government says is and this is every country if you buy an asset that produces income then you can deduct you can write off the asset if it doesn't produce income you can't so if you buy if you bought a plane and just used for personal purposes you get to write that off but because you're playing makes money you can write that off. Our plane makes money because it's in a charter fleet of a company. So it is being. It's used as a charter plane regularly. And it's exactly like the properties we buy with. Kenny are rental. Fleet to your understanding is true capitalism here so we come back with big finishing up final words from these people on the fiftieth anniversary of tricky. Dick nixon taking the dollar off the gold standard just when the stock market is all time high real estate all-time highs bond market is all-time highs and the big balloon is in the sky. And they keep filling.

"The rich company was founded august fifteenth. Nineteen seventy-one a man named tricky. Dick nixon took the dollar off the gold standard and most people don't even remember it because he announced it during Tv shell call bonanza. So i think. Most people are watching bonanza rather than tricky dick but that nineteen seventy-one change august. Fifteen thousand nine hundred seventy one. The fiftieth anniversary is coming up in a few days. So i thought we'd commemorate that and explain what happened. But since i'm the all this guy that show i'll give you a little history. What happened before that is seventy one back in the nineteen fifties. People didn't invest in stocks. I remember my rich dad. Having a on employee who was playing the stock market and rich said that guy's a gambler. You know back then was a thing called the fifty and this gas holly talked about was nifty fifty. Now this is the difference. My rich dad was an entrepreneur and entrepreneurs don't need to invest in stocks because they create their own assets so that was in the nineteen fifties. And if anybody did anything they saved money and prior to nineteen seventy one. It was really smart to save money. Because after nineteen seventy-one this printing. It so back in nineteen prior to nineteen seventy-one one. When i was a kid people save money. Gamblers are in the stock market and people bought bonds because bonds were safe because they weren't printing money and i remember as a kid i had. I had a little bank. Said bishop bank. Which today is first hawaiian bank. And i would say my lopez and all that tak- down there and i put mobile passbook. Got three percent of whatever it was wasn't much and then we bought. Us savings bonds. I remember the numbers in a not good at numbers by do like dollar signs in front of him if he put eighteen dollars and seventy five cents into a savings bond in ten ago. Twenty five bucks now. it didn't excite me 'cause ten ten years when you only ten years old is a long time suss it. Oh boy. In ten years i got twenty five bucks like somehow. It didn't register for me but my rich dad kept saying fast the smart thing to do so he had bonds and he built his own assets. He was real estate guy. Because as you guys know. Has ray crock of mcdonald's says the purpose of business to buy real estate so he's set up businesses he by real estate and he put it in. He had a Residential property which my poor dad called slum lords slumps and what they were basically large tracts of land that he would put kwan setups hunt. 'cause quonset huts where the was military surplus after world war two and then my job and richard Collect rent if he wanted to. Do you wanna financial click. Education called collect rent until you hear more bullshit than you here your whole life. And when i talked to donald trump's that was one of the best experiences father ever gave them collect electric. And you hear more stuff so anyway. After nineteen seventy-one they started printing money. And that's what ninety seven to two. I started buying gold. Because i understand what's going on that. Something was the big other than what happened. In seventy was that seventy four was orissa employee. Retirement income security act which then forced everybody into the stock market. Sarma my rich dad saying says franken guys. They're putting all these these people who are idiots into the stock market. They don't even know what they're doing. So the whole retirements renou based upon a thing called the 401k. Also call a dc defined contribution plan and certain employees from ford motor company and the government had defined benefit path. That was seventy four was a major change. It get seventy one seventy four and canadian sevenstock market crash. A few people understood. That wasn't as under so the thing about gambling. And you know. I was watching. This then came the glass steagle repeal glass-steagall i think around nineteen ninety five or something like that. Tricky i mean clinton did that one and what glass steagle to is it. Took co ed made commercial banks and investment banks the same. You could gamble. And there was so much corruption that came when you had investment banks and regular savings spanks getting together so this high putting savings of the sabers into the stock market. That's what the repeal of glass steagle did than we had the crash of two thousand which to call the dot com crash then came two thousand and eight they call it a subprime. They call it a subprime mortgage crash and they blamed the poor people for the crash. But it wasn't the poor people did it again. It was wall street the treasury and the fed and it never fix the problem. They never never fixed the problem. All they did was print more money. So i ninety seventy one continued on in mass after two thousand and eight and today in twenty twenty one. I'll give you a number started coming up with the thing's skull quantitative easing and what the quantitative easing was was a key money into the economy. Because it was like this huge hot air balloon going in the sky that if that hot air balloon came down that little gondola was you and me so if that gondola that big balloon stand the sky and it hard to empty the crash would be the gun. The little gondola below it. And that's us. We got crushed so what happened. Was i still remember the africa. Which fed chairman was q. E. three is gonna fix it. This is the bazooka we're gonna print so much money that will fix the problem forever. So and and qe three. They're putting i think. Eighty billion a month into the economy eighty billion today as one hundred twenty billion.

"What do we do to make sure it doesn't keep happening. It doesn't happen again and the results may surprise you Basically the commission said that A lot of it is like racism lack of economic opportunity. All these things in it recommended A lot of reforms to how policing works and also just investing billions and billions of dollars into these communities and that would alleviate all the crime and all this sort of stuff and it was very clear a lot of the stuff that we talk about today. Wouldn't it be nice if we did this. Wouldn't that solve a lot of the crime problem. isn't that where crime comes from And it was completely ignored because it didn't align with what they wanted to do Johnson was You know he had his programs he wanted to do He also had this narrative that like a lot of the rides were like caused by communist infiltration. Familiar with this. Oh is from fucking familiar. Good we don't have this anymore. Re anarchists yeah So he used to get the communist education fires everybody up and so on and You know the commission was like well no. that's not. that's not what happened. It's this and this and this and so recommend had all these recommendations it was completely ignored. is a very popular report Hundreds of thousands of copies were sold but there was a huge pushback Against it from you know a lot of white people. And who is the president after. Johnson i think a cool and fund dude a real cool and fun guy. Dick nixon became. Can't lick the dick cody near. You can't well not anymore but Yeah so it's just a very All this time. I guess An official like the president was like find out. What did this and what we do and they did and he was like no never mind. And the country veered into as we know these law and order presidents. Nixon and reagan and so on Even did a follow up of this commission Twenty or thirty years later basically determined like yeah so some some of the things that were resolve. The civil rights movement Did actually alleviate some of these things and did help in some way and it was kind of improving for about ten years and then it stopped and got worse incidentally coincided with the ronald reagan president and since then it has remained bad and gotten worse and it's again tales all the time..

"My name is Nigel. Jason Hammer is here. Also rookie House member representative Sparks was speaking earlier. I saw that hammer she had, she basically echoed with Jim Jordan said, saying Congress should stop playing divisive politics and start working on delivering good policies for the American people. You won. You won the presidency. You won the house. You won the Senate. You've got everything you want. And now you're going to drag an impeachment into the Biden administration because they're scared. They want to make sure that Trump never runs again. I'm not sure how it works, you know, talking about impeaching a president after he's already left office. Make sure he's really out of here. This time. We're going to take his key card away from them. This is about making sure Trump never runs again, maybe making a deal with Trump behind the scenes. Maybe resigned right now. Tramping. We want 30 in jail. You and your family. Kind of like a dick Nixon type of thing. I don't think we're gonna see that I don't know doesn't look like it. But you know, there are people that are their businesses are being shut down right now. People still can't go back to school in the states. People being evicted, and this is what the House is concentrating on. I think you're being too nice knives. There's no way they want to negotiate with Donald Trump. They want to just bully him around and use big tech to help. Because that's what's happening right now, when you really lay out what this is all about today, If you look at what the law actually is, this is a waste of time. But this isn't about the law. The first round of impeachment, the Ukrainian phone call where they're bringing out left partners and all these other losers. That was a waste of time. But they have the numbers and they were going to do whatever they wanted. Not only was it a waste of time, but it diminished the audacity of impeachment itself. The what? He called the shit spot. Right. The effectiveness Now we're all just kind of like And I think part of that. They're hoping that's what we're all like. They're hoping we're all just like yeah, all right. Whatever. He's got eight days left, whatever you do, do whatever you want. I think they're really hoping people have that attitude, especially people in the middle. People might not Be 100% aware of what happened. What's going on? I think they're counting on people going on. All right. I just kind of like cove it and lockdowns. All right, I'll do whatever you want, just, you know, fine. You know, Just be careful what you wish for. Because this stuff always comes full circle. It's an all Democrat. Washington D. C. Starting January 20th. The minute the minute that the power shifts one way or the other and a Democrat president just looks at somebody the wrong way. Here comes impeachment, too, And we kind of solve this with the Supreme Court. Member. They took away the filibuster at the time, and everybody thought all this is great, but it came back to haunt the Democrats. This will come back to haunt them eventually, What goes around comes around. This is representative Dan Bishop. He's a Republican from North Carolina again the articles before the House charge incitement to insurrection. They do not specify inciting language. The law is well settled. Quote. What is required to forfeit constitutional protection is incitement speech that specifically advocates for listeners to take unlawful action. The violence last Wednesday was abhorrent. Perpetrator should be prosecuted. Those responsible for security decisions held accountable. Congress can disapprove, revile condemn, even censure, but you cannot consistent with the rule of law punished that which the Constitution's first Amendment declares protected. If you do it the violators of duty to this constitution. However angry will be those who vote. For this article of impeachment. It is not Mr Green's article of impeachment. It is incitement. And the Constitution is settled. On that point. You could rattle off all the facts that you want. It's not going to change anything. The house is going to impeach Donald Trump for a second time. Donald Trump could not have even been there and they were going to impeach Donald Trump for a second time. Facts don't matter. What do you think of McConnell last night, the Senate majority leader. Mitch McConnell, Cocaine Mitch the Turtle column, which you will He kind of seemed like he was hopping on board with the Senate phase. A possible vote by the Senate before Biden takes office last night. We had that word coming in. What do you make of that? This isn't cocaine. Mitch is first rodeo at all, And he knows how to play the game. We talk about swamp all the time. The swamp. He is the swamp monster, Right? So I think there's two things in play number one. He wasn't real happy with Donald Trump and some of the tweets that he put out there. And as a swamp Republican. He probably doesn't like what Trumpism is to the Republican Party, So he's going to be happy when he's gone. But at the same time, I think he just wants to make Donald Trump sweat just a little bit reminding him. Hey, I'm still here. You're on the outside. Remember all those tweets you put out about me How I'm lucky to be elected. Well, maybe I'll vote to impeach. Maybe I won't And now it's looking like McConnell's not going to recall the Senate before they're officially supposed to come back. Right. They're not supposed to convene until the 19 at the 19th trump terms in Trump's term ins. January 20th. McConnell would have to call everybody back and for to vote for this, and he's not going to do that. It looks like now, which means they're not gonna have time to debate this and this might spill over into Biden's term. Which tells me they're not serious about moving the country forward. Right? America United is the theme of Joe Biden's Inauguration. America United. And you're telling me you're going to have a spill over impeachment in your 1st? 100 days? Way to unite America, Ladies and gentlemen. Um Speaking of things happening in America, another company has banned the Donald.

I met with Loretta homes that Gordon Park on the site of what was that blind pig? Loretta was at the party at the Blind pig. She was 17. I don't think it was a riot. I think it was a disturbance. I think it was a rebellion. It was a lot of people fed up with the way that they were treated here in the inner city, and the cops knew where many of these places were in. The cops knew of this place, too. They probably did what went on with you and your family the rest of that week. Oh, my God. So my dad wouldn't let us go off the port. Well, if we went off the porch we have to At a certain time because he put on a curb deal. We need to be constantly reminded of what happened. So that doesn't happen again. "Ah, telling me about your your colleague. That's going to be the moderator. I will share that directly with the president. That's actually Ah, good endorsement coming from someone that I certainly respect you've had a long history of speaking the truth. Here's the interesting Thank you. Ah. When we look at the unbelievable foreign policy accomplishments and where we are the last four years, you can put them up. Historically speaking to almost any administration when when you start to look at the things that have been accomplished, and people that when President when candidate Donald Trump ran for office, they said, well, his weakest aspect It is foreign policy chops. Well, the results speak for themselves. The Abraham accords that obviously are not just historic, but they're in a context of just being almost unbelievable. Uh, where people had promised that for a long time, but it didn't stop there. You know, it's it's the relationships with with China with with NATO with actually holding our allies. Ah, accountable but making sure that they're still our friends. And making sure that our adversaries understand that they need to respect this and fear us that we just don't apologize for America's greatness. A last question Mr Chief of staff, Mark Meadows is my guest. The president gets to ask the vice president questions tomorrow night. I would like to know if the vice president's going to move the embassy from Jerusalem back to Tel Aviv. I would like to know if he's going to push Israel to de Annex the Golan Heights, and I really hope we get an answer on court packing, which would destroy the Republic. Does the president tend to use this time to ask questions that maybe are not on the question set? Well, let me just tell you those three questions. I'm just jotting notes down as I listen to them. Maybe he, uh your your fingerprints might have a little bit to do with with some of the questions that get asked. I can tell you this, whether it's moving the embassy to Jerusalem or recognize in the Golan Nights. Those are things that were promises made and promises kept by this president, the court packing. We know what Joe Biden is going to do he's going to try to put in his leftist agenda. He's going to blame it on the fact that we will confirm Amy Cockney Barrett, a very qualified judge. To the Supreme Court and suggest that that justifies putting four or five new leftist judges on there. So all of those questions. They're certainly ah, appropriate. The problem is, we won't have enough time to and ask all the questions that, uh Joe Biden needs to answer. Chief of staff, Mark Meadows. Thank you for joining me this morning. I greatly appreciate it back to the fray. Good luck with Nancy Pelosi. I don't envy you that task. Thank you. Great to be with you. America that is the chief of staff. The president laid in the point with Treasury Secretary Mnuchin. I am not an optimist about the negotiations. I do believe Kristen Welker will be fair. I've no Christian for a long time. I've done meet the press with her a number of times. I do not believe the debate commission is fair. I think it's broken. Badly badly broken, but I do trust Kristen. I would like those questions to be asked by Kristen William of the embassy back to Tel Aviv. You know the bind Obama years. We're horrible for Israel American relations President Obama so hostile the Israel nothing got done. President Trump's been Israel's best friend in the Oval Office and Terry Truman. Dick Nixon saved at 1973 during the YMCA Poor war, but those three Truman Nixon and Trump Israel's best friends. Time to remind you relief factor dot com. I take it every morning in the first hour. I then I remind you about an hour or two and three, and I hope you take it and I hope you're remembering to get exercise during this period where we're socially distant doesn't mean you have decisions yourself from the rowing machine in the basement or the A bike with dust on it. There's also sidewalk outside and go walk. If you got bad knees or a barking back really factor supports the temporary relief of minor aches and pains. Come back for a little bit more America. me were very good easily what do you think of this team we mentioned how many guys are young and not even knowing that what the roles are gonna be the guys like marquees christen twenty two Jacob Evans of twenty two air paschal twenty two Jordan full of twenty even the agile Russell's going to have to change his game at twenty three Mar Spelman twenty two those guys are guys you're gonna expect to get something out of every single night obvious it'll fall who's playing what and when but a lot of guys that are young we know about stuff we talked about it with Marcus I think you go off this year three months trying to get guys to play defense Steve Kerr in this whole equation and got the new arena and all that so how you gonna react as a fan it away came BR will get in this conversation now into the top of the hour and then make mix in the voice of the Carolina Panthers Roger action now that Otis Nixon nice call right I tricky Dick Nixon I am not a crook not him very underrated Freddie first term was terrific Deep Throat well well sort of the great Nixon's doing now there's a band called the next rest there's a water yeah I was watching the Nicks and yeah alternative rock band others a watch that is very popular made by Nixon Nixon is there I don't know you can trot Nixon would've been the trot Nixon would've been probably the first one the old right fielder for the red Sox make tingle off center for the fight as Mick to ever play in the NFL that's a nice call under rate in there to be somebody mixing a lot of good players these all fate make mix in make Nixon says given name not a guy as action you should come up with a better name the twenty fifth twenty fifth year the Carolina Panthers I didn't know that the staff is excited the staff can accept me all will be thinking they are to be on the road but he's in the bombed out there playing Oklahoma City is right forgot about that he's not today no not bang the drum yeah he didn't love doing that bang the drum before the Superbowl when I came I think he did I think you're right and right after that on Miller band camp then that was it did do that now that I remember that the saying I think he did it for a home game as he did he did for a home game in that he did for the Super Bowl and worked out so yeah forgot about that all right and we came here let's get some thoughts let's start with Brett in Walnut Creek hi Brett welcome Hey guys happy opening day excited I would say I would say I have reserved expectations but excited about the fact that they're different than they've been in previous years where expectations are finals are blast you know I think the big thing is three months got to put more points up than he has in the past I see has offense of game picking up a little and a quick comment about Steph curry I I actually was thinking about a lot and I thought if I'm Steph curry I my answer to that responded to Jordan I would say you're you're absolutely right and Jay I am not a hall of Famer yet and north as lebron James yet nor is Anthony Davis yet because I'm still plan not to put here that it may have been when Michael manage honestly is is going not done yet so he's not done I think he was disrespecting him Hannah yeah I think might never get a easy you know what went contract when Steph curry's contract up in a couple of years yeah if he ever thought about going to play for Michael's team that's not gonna help secure a point this is Charlotte your favorite song yeah not a good idea but I don't know Stafford forgive uses the way yeah but I I don't I don't know what that was about that's just Michael being yeah great point thank you Brett should call eight two eight can be our own zip line expectations on the words this year of Mary in San Rafael high merry welcome Hey guys great show I sort of look Brett ambiguous on what my expectations are bought I personally believe this is not a bash nor is it L. well I firmly believe that the absence of Duran that's curry during my health for that matter Steve Kerr are you gonna play their game without having to show or worry or you know I'll be unabashed about it I just that's for sure will take place in my opinion I think so because I I know there's a chemistry thing there but as you often pointed out a little bit drank a bit of pain it was a pain in the **** last year at times but he's just so damn good he's the best you know co eyes a tremendous player coli's not the offense of player Durant was embodies a better defensive player but Duran I think is closer to being as good of a defensive players collide in any event during Sir is no longer ran I think would marry summarize what I they they're the best basketball the most beautiful basketball I've ever seen was the twenty thirteen twenty fourteen spurs who just systematically dissected lebron's last run in Miami and it was just they don't have the skill level and I always you know I remember talking to you about of mark Jackson joined I saw my can't the worries do that they have better shooters and pastors Jacko splitter camp play come on you know they had Tony and chairman mono but beyond that Danny green a did you know seven clay and dream on the way they move the ball and voted for a high post **** even David Lee then so the warriors Chuck that beautiful game and took it right before our very eyes just you first got here is like wow this is so so beautiful to watch first championship twenty four no seventy three wins it was even more beautiful because you had to rant for the first year when he played nice and that he wanted he wanted to get away from that so I don't know what they're gonna be on defense but our offense I think I've moved the ball I want them to be the most beautiful passing team I've ever seen because of the concern I have John you know what doctors thinking right now we are going to trap Jeff curry were gonna bullets jam the guys to do it well who's gonna make a shot we're gonna leave dray model but on the drag series god make a play dream out and you don't have to play you don't have to rant to bail you out de Angelo go make a shot so that so staff in Mali said it perfectly when he joined us on Tuesday he could not be a valium score he can't score forty at night taken forty shots it is not that whenever works by the way never know but if he has to give it up to Women when nuts over through their bras. Penny chat him when he was dreaming, right? When you look at the differential the gender differential, overwhelming numbers of women vote if one. So he had to the JFK kind of, but it's actually much better looking. But now it's nineteen sixty eighty two years in mayor Tim battle the bit as Republican mayor, which is unusual begin with Republican mayor and the Republican national convention, which taking place in your neck of the woods, Miami Beach convention, Miami Beach convention center in nineteen sixty eight right, where Jackie Gleason junk, mail. Come on down. Yes. Which is now the Jackie Gleason theater. Right. I think it's called. So the Republicans, I would not ally Janette and the guy. Who is resurrected? You won't have dick Nixon kick around anymore, and go when he lost the governorship of California after loosening very closely to Kennedy, although the Kennedy stole that election. So sixty two to sixty eight Nixon makes he's Lazarus. He wise is from the day he sitting in a room, I forget, which five star hotel in blue front. In one room is John linzie. Marquee star, right? Oh. He's probably out tan. You know, laying out on the beach Nixon wanted Lindsay is vice-president oh, but other Republican said, Spiro Agnew, the governor of Maryland who's a cook. Any was gonna pick linzie and Nelson Rockefeller, who had run against him for the nomination sake, you on all my money, you want my support his money, you better not pick linzie. He's my enemy. So he went with Spiro Agnew. So Lindsey could task residency remember what happened. He ended up having to leave Richard Nixon ended up leaving he would've. Yeah. Would have been well, Nelson Rockefeller ended up becoming vice president eventually as Gerald Ford was elevated to the president. He would have been he would have been another JFK like looking you know that, that love and the admiration because he had that he just had that vibe. So what happens is Lindsay gets upset, and he becomes a democrat, and he decides I'm going to run for the presidency and seventy two any stocks outweigh a media. Because the media loved them, especially the New York Times, the first Kaku soy caucus wasn't Iowa was Harrison, he finishes second. Remember, he had just converted to being a democrat people are saying, oh, my God that he, he was right behind Edmund Muskie who remember bowed out 'cause he was crying. You know he had that, and then all of a sudden, he goes on, and it's the Florida primary key. That's when my Rio Cuomo was appointed the, the auditor, and he came up with a co op plan instead of public housing. But they never forgotten Forest Hills. There was sick talking about the people that were dogging how. People are we talking to rotate people because a lot of them. There was some indigenous American Indian Marlin brand. Down kind of stuff. There is always, you know, protesting the Vietnam or tricky dick Nixon there was some women's Libby stuff. But it was pretty much based around a woman can do the job. Just like a man. Can it wasn't really? It was funny wasn't a woman being oppressed. Abused or victimize. It was like Rosie the Riveter you give us the chance. Remember, it was a lot of like member this stupid correction thing. Remember, we tell you the correction part is all the part of the left movement. How love it when I was a kid. It was like I'd always say the example, I'd go like, well, look, you know, as far as what qualities my looking for an airline pilot. Well, unlike him to be smart I'd like him to have some milita him or her him or her him or her. You know, my favorite more hurt my favorite. They'd stop you on. Well, she, you know, they they engaged in of course, that he raped her up. Violent crime that sexual. Well, forget that came that came later. There was a there was a movement. There's environmental movement there's especially indigenous peoples kind of Indian kind of movement there was a empower women, but not that they were being victimized. It was kind of an interesting thing. It was a Certa. There was kind of a black power thing. But not a black victim thing things. There was a female power thing. You know, like, oh a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle. There was sort of use you. Go sister, you go brother was like a sort of black empowerment female empowerment at the what in even even a soda. Julio Cesar Chavez are says China's once a boxer the other pick grapes. But either way for farm farm leader, the point is is it was it was empowered. It wasn't. We got a target. On our bass. And we're being we're they weren't being oppressed. They were empowered breaking through right, right, which is much different than target on your back oppression. Yeah. Now, we're in the oppression stories. You were in a world where and again, they never really explain it. Charlie Sterren explains their city, she wouldn't go to with her young black Dopp the child because she fears for the safety for child, but they never name the city love to know. What to do that was? Was it South Africa ever, probably her hometown? Right. She's talking about the United States and the answer to that. Is you must present a city in order to continue this dialogue and for all the cowards. That are doing all the interviewing please have follow-up questions, maybe agree with Shirley strong. It's sort of incumbent upon you as an interviewer for Rolling Stone or whoever to go. What city are you talking about? And by the way, look it as a service, you're providing your African American readership could avoid those city. Absolutely. Because there might be harm brought to them. Now. The answer is if you then name the city. Then that then leaves an opening for somebody to dispute you, and I'm guessing your point will quickly be destroyed. So let's not open that door. Let's just say their places in the United States. I will not bring my son, which is the kind of the opposite of black power. Yes. Yeah. It's just places. I won't go. I understand the diatribe last night. Go global night from the thing either. The for Sachi thing made me one appeal because the Kennedy was killed by gay man, who is a serial killer. These times time for much more dangerous back then. Well, okay. But he wasn't killed by clansman. He was killed by a gay guy who is a serial killer who by the way was half Philipino. So he had he had two things that you're constantly talking about. And that was the the the biggest one where they go scared of people look different than you. Is there a possibility that in the United States in any metropolitan city that you could possibly come close to functioning in a business used to look different at you? Yes. No couldn't function. "And you know, what what what a shame that was and what Ed on the face congress had, and it would just be seen as I guess an indictment no conviction in the prosecutor would get embarrassed. But back then it wasn't seeing that way it seemed to have worked and also the founding fathers. I guess there's some evidence that were that process to play out even the founding fathers would say, well, that's fine. That's what we had intended. Absolutely impeachment doesn't seem to have been intended. As only worth it. If you get a conviction. The idea was the impeachment itself is a slap across the face Bill Clinton, politically was a master of this which is he found that he could use the impeachment as a rallying point his popularity ratings rose during his impeachment and his trial in the Senate such that he had higher popularity reading at the end than he did at the beginning of that process. So where does that leave us in the modern sense, everyone who has a memory of that in? Including some senators who are still on Capitol Hill. Now, they have the memory of if you bring impeachment and you fail to convict it is a political loss and you look foolish. Okay. That changes the dynamic even in the house of representatives to bring impeachment. There's no doubt an impeachment resolution could patch on January fourth. I I think the votes would be there. If people were voting what they thought should happen with this president. But that's probably why the house leadership ain't going to bring it up on the house floor because they see they also have to have the goods to deliver for a conviction in the Senate. Okay. But how much is Bill Clinton actually how much does he actually fit in with because the book is removing unpopular unable or unfit chief executives? He was none of those things. This was an attempt to remove someone who was popular and got a lot more popular in certainly able and fit. Right. I tell you. He was not unpopular. If you go based on polls, he was not unable to do the job. But a majority of the house of representatives thought he was unfit for the office. Within fitness becomes with the grand jury, but fitness then at that point becomes just a self-fulfilling prophecy fitnesses once you once we decide you're unfit. It becomes true. Well, that's it. I mean, high crimes and misdemeanors. You mentioned aren't well defined in the constitution. But it seems to be that impeachment is a remedy for an unfit president somebody who is harming the political fabric itself things like committing perjury things like abusing power things like obstructing Justice definitely fall into that category. And have been used as articles of impeachment for everybody from Lyndon Johnson. I'm sorry, Andrew Johnson through dick Nixon through Bill Clinton. That is what impeachment is about. Now. The fact is the Senate didn't agree that there was worthy removal, why because of that that word high and with Bill Clinton, we gotta be careful how we use that where the idea was that the high in high crimes and misdemeanors has to do with whether it affects matters of state, and they said, yes. Bill Clinton committed perjury. Yes. Bill Clinton obstructed Justice. But he was doing it too. Cover up a personal affair. He wasn't doing it in order to exploit the government for his own pocketbook or to actually destroy the government in some way. So that's I think how senators came down on it and said, yes, the things he did were abhorrent. Personally. He shouldn't have done it. But you don't remove a president for doing those things when it's about a personal issue. Okay. And that is why they're in the last week. There was a question or two big question or they throw a hypothetical to you know, a newsman with throw hypothetical to a pundit..
