"Of course I did mother said to behave. Did behave so fast forward at 1 a.m. Stories. I was doing Diana Ross at supper club in New York City for the car show. It ran for maybe a year and half and the producers came. That means that Rhonda Ross is performing here on Friday. Can you please come dressed as Diana Ross? Because it'll be great publicity for all shows, why not? So, I had the cash. Look, the big hair, a big, you know, fuzzy coat. And I was late. I used to be really late back then, I've got enough together now, so I go to the show and I watch the show off and everybody's looking back and looking back and looking back. So when the Enron doesn't everybody leaves around just drinking with the ban and we're there and they kept talking and looking at me talking and looking at home. So my friends are talking about you talking about you, I'll go oh they can say it to my face cuz I read that bitch. At least my mother didn't have a child and pretended with some white man's wage. Of all the things I can say to reach her. She's coming from me. But then she just went Long story short, I went over to him, I had like a two-hour conversation with Robert De. That was the realest bitch ever met cuz I had met Tracy before. No bueno wage, but Rhonda was real, as rain, and incredible. And Rhonda said, can you please come see me at my show a tattoo? I'm going to be a chance to next week. Sounds like, well to my own personal thinking. Well, seeing you here was enough. I mean doesn't very overwhelming. If you invited you invite me, you know, she invites me, I'll go yeah. Some shows are so good. You only get to see them. Once she said, can you please not come dressed as my mom? Oh, does that offend you make sure. No. Not at all, but you're a performer. Now, when you came in tonight, everyone kept looking back at you, for the first fifteen, minutes of the show. Imagine if someone did that at, Your show that would ruin the rhythm of your show. I started shrinking like the Witch and there was so far as when they threw the water on the beach. Cuz it hit me while Diana with me to me that I would like to do that. She was like, Bingo, you got it. I kind of say, I don't try it with my mother. No more of faget. Cuz this is a conversation or having with Diana Ross's daughter and bury her daughter. She's the daughter of Berry Gordy and Diana. Ross of child. Yeah, never meant to be, well, she was meant to be off, Kendrick. Yeah, that's amazing. All right, so then I got it. So one more story than we get to poke cake. So, all right, by this time in arras has a dossier on you just just the best one fast forward, maybe three more years for more years. Two more years. I don't know. So now I'm back. Live in Israel. But I came back from the Holy Land. My writer friend was like, oh, I have tickets to Diana Ross and Radio City if you want to go. I was like no choice, she don't feel me. It's right. Well, I'm not going to go. I'm not saying come with me. I'm going to give you the tickets. I like, oh well I'll go. So I got dolled up, you know, had to do was take me higher, was the song, she was promoting. So I have to look of the video. The shorter hair, the Citrus at the blahniks. So I went with my good friend, Richard and we went to the beach. So amazing seats. They were free. I didn't grandstand, I just walked in said him a seat. Everyone else during the show. Tracy and Evan were going to the bathroom. Haven't saw me and stopped and tugged, Tracy, and pointed. And she looked, and whispered in his ear, and they went along, The came back. She tapped me on the shoulder and said, you look amazing and off. They went Diana. Came off the stage and came to sing with me that she's taking one of those songs from the album, you know, you don't know. Well, in recent years, they weren't listening to themselves, I didn't know that God damn song she's singing and whatever. And I said, I don't know how long you thinking of imitate you, and she was singing and I said during her isms the crowd lost it, she hugged me, it was a beautiful moment, so we're sitting near me and my girlfriend and some woman comes up and says hi. I'm so and so, would you like to go to Diana's after party at the motel Cafe off fast forward, somebody in the crowd, gives us a lift and their little thing that was fabulous arrives, they were like you're not on the list. I'm going to have to turn and walk away having Barrett. Sting 10.8 RuPaul shows up and goes, she's with me like thank you. So, we go into the office. So it's so many famous people. They're just so important. So, RuPaul. I'm watching RuPaul. Have this moment with Diana. My Diana is in this, like, boot with the rope in front brake booster and two body, girl. So everybody has to be approved by her to get in the Rope. So if we talked us out of the Rope ago, I want to go talk to her. What did you talk about me? Posted nothing. She's a little soft but, you know, go in there and have your moment like she's going to stay alive. So I go over numbers. Like God, she looks at me and Snapchat. Get away like lies, I'm like, oh, I'll be damned, I will get thrown out of here. I'm like Diana. Miss Ross, Diana and she turns around and she goes here, security opens the wrong. We have a moment. We hug me kiss, she gets drunk off of her ass and I'm living because it's just gorgeous to see, you know, your title like free or booster and that's so shady. And then she's like, you look amazing and you are you're in those shoes. And how do you do it? Cuz my feet hurt as a little less? Which shoes. She said, no. I, you know, because mine are small to a girl know. We wear the same size, the Enigma Hast. She, she looked me up and down like how long do I cook a big on bitch? Like you, and then she kind of got it was like, okay, like enough for you get out and she gives you the hug and security opens the Rope wage. And the next show I got the picture of us together. Yeah. And that was the last time she was nice to me the one and the only and the last time I'm just asking me anything you want. When does the incident happened? It happened before that? No, that's new that happened like a year ago, a year ago. So how long so that the incident happened a year ago, what the time frame between like the last time you saw her and then the incident the pope gate or another time I went to see the Supreme Soviet Union tour and I had called cuz I thought it was suggested my what did you not like about it? Where was Marion Wilson and Cindy Birdsong? They were alive it's not like they were dead, my cool with those other two bitches. You never worked with. How dare you sneak? Some plays but i never acted before as a major motion picture leading a cast. It was the idea that to me was like unfathomable unanimity at n ridiculous. Actually to be honest. I was like this is a terrible idea so now but i met with him and his he was thinking the same thing he like now. I really don't to preserve his role in so we didn't want to win a perfect meeting. Yeah it was amazing. Actually i know want you. I do not want to do this part anyway. Why don't we just sit here. Should be here these orders and we can go home so it was interesting. We bonded because we both were like. This is a terrible idea. But i saw him a desire to authentically. Tell billy store. In as a fan of billie holiday that was part of my fear is that i'd be staying on her legacy. that'd be stay on a great. Diana ross's legacy lady sings the blues or audra mcdonald on broadway. So i think we both saw. He was worried that he would also be that in casting me in so so we both had a great fear to overcome together. I think really for both of us. I mean through face into a lot of hard work and and and a great team right at gargantuan effort by our entire sort of ecosystem of people in family. you know we got together. We dove in. We move to get her here. We are win injured. Did the fear goal way Fear number one. Which but what happened was that i was uncomfortable and i was scared being but i had piece about. I had a piece about my purpose. Does that make sense. You know so was muscle. I was terrified. But i started to sort of feel my spirit. I try to stay. Spiritually grounded connected. I started to feel that. Okay just i was just reading. Certain things in has started to feel okay. I think i'm supposed to do this. I think this is something i suppose to say. Yes to i am. I actually read a scripture about being caused to face your fears doing act great faith and that's when i know care have to do this so i was still scared but it was one of those things that was like okay. You're gonna have to actually face it in a recumbent. Can you remember that. I seeing the did whatever that day was like where you're actually being billing. What did he was he gentle with yuli daniels and not starting with some. We actually very well. His the first day in the very first scene was gentle and our industry with natasha. Who's obviously incredible veteran actor writer like she knows this process from the top down so i was blessed that my first thing with her lee was extremely tender with me in two the entire process. You know so. It almost didn't matter with see we started with he had such care unanimity. But we did start. It's latasha leone is too little. The bank of holiday walking through central park in enemy talking about in his ability never jail talking bar tabarre card demand that she's dealing with stating from her. So it was. It was a little restricting through the park with the dogs. You know but it wasn't easy in the sense that it's technically my first day of shielding ever so that air ejector a by can't walk through parks sizably talulah bacon back and then the very next scene was actually her and i just making out in jewelry store so it was great. Second you know. Joe right in with lynching sexiness his first week little stroll in central park. That never happens again. Naked in front of strangers. That was gonna ask you before. I we talk about billion and the connection that that the two of you have of that night before you went to work the next day. What kind of a good night's sleep did you have. I'll regularly so. I really didn't sleep that i i'm not a. I'm not a sleeper. That's skill in the talent. I have not yet developed. Maybe somebody can hire me to be asleep. Let's see if some miracle pops out of that. That would be great so you know. It's interestingly enough people. Ask me what scene i struggled with the most non my okay was very emotionally challenging with a cenex. Struggle with divorce was in the hospital. But they're like billy's sleeping dislike. Relax a little bit like you just sleep Get closure is billion now. I there was no sleeping before going to set. Did it help you all that you have this wonderful musical career that you've been on stage in front of people. It's not the same thing as acting but in a way it is known as a singer as a musician. You have to feel everything you have to make it. Look like it's rolling off a lock that this is it. You can be confident than within the confidence. You can be inspired. He ended up at all. Yeah i think it did excellently. I mean you know one of the things my acting coach thomas which say she's like you know when it comes to acting. She knew how just terrified was she said it is. They are different but it is sort of the same. What she she calls. We ought announcing Chapman tuna says. Okay you know so. I think it did help in the sense that i know what it is like to go onstage. I know what it's like every night. The pressure before you go on stage the need for audience to love you for them to be satisfied for them to feel your love them. And i understand the washing process that once you're in it and you're in the music in your is i look at it as sort of a washing kind of cleansing a healing. Because i think that's it. And then i understand the feeling actor a performance of like. Oh my god that went so great or everybody's loving it select or arable like oh my god i i never wanna perform again. You know what. I mean. So i understand. Bill got sort of arca the most. There's so many permutations that yeah there is. It's it's definitely an entire roller coaster that you go on before gain state while stays in after you get on stage so we'll could save you years of therapy. You

Supreme Glamour, an Interview with Mary Wilson
"Verse seven billion people in the world. We all have one thing in common every day. We all get dressed. Welcome to trust the history of fashion. A podcast where. We explore the who. What when of why we wear. We are fashion stories and your hosts abra callahan and cassidy. Zachary dresses thurs. I know that you will join april. And i when we say that we were both very sad to hear about the fact that miss mary wilson passed away last week at the age of seventy six years old. Yes i was a little heartbroken. I texted you right away. And i was like. Oh so of course miss. Mary was a founding member of the iconic american singing group. The supremes she was there at the beginning of the group in the nineteen fifties and was the last original member in the group when it officially disbanded in one thousand nine hundred seventy seven and she went on to a career as a solo performer motivational speaker author and perhaps unsuspecting archivist. Yes because miss. Mary took it upon herself to preserve the supreme sartorial legacy and her collection of the group's stunning performance ensemble served as the foundation of her two thousand nineteen book co authored with mark. Bego supreme glamour and april. I mean we feel so. Honored chose celebrated fulling episode of dressed with miss mary herself. She came on last season of course to share with us her incredible stories behind the supremes singular style she truly was an inspiring and wonderful woman whose legacy will undoubtedly live on for generations to come. Thank you for joining us stress listeners. In this listen back at our time with the one. The only miss mary wilson. We are super excited to have miss. Mary wilson with us today miss mary. Welcome to dressed. Thank you so much. And i'm glad to be with you. Yeah of this is truly an honor to have you here today. And i have to say i have not been this excited about a book in a very long time. I've i've read a lot of fashion history books and this one is is so beautifully written. It's so beautifully illustrated so many stories so much love and friendship and of course there's so much fashion in this book. It's such a beautiful mosh to your time in the supremes and the clothing. That was part in parcel to that experience. So i'm curious. What inspired you to write this wonderful book. Wow well it was fairly easy. Because i had already written books about the supreme so therefore you know it was one of the things will. My research was not as it didn't take as long because i had so much research from the other books. And you know writing about the supremes and our biography and and talking about how much we had accomplished and our career was a pleasure to actually sit down now and do something not just write about the book but do show pictures and and and the looks and what was behind the singing which was more fashion so it was really a lot of fun. Sort of demonstrating what we did in not just on recording and the music but how we look at how he felt when we were certain count and so was all about the gallons per gallon down to just like we were onto all those years and many of them are in your personal collection cracked. Have i think in the book. There's over twenty four sets of matching onstage on sambas so not just one of the dresses but all three of the dresses. How did you go about comprising this collection. Well First of all we supreme florence ballard diana ross and i would always travel and when we came home from the road we'd have to store the gown and then of course by new gowns or designers with bring us new gowns and some of the old account that we made perhaps worn on television We went to store them. And they accumulated who Throughout all the years right And as you know florence was no longer mcgrew. Diane was no longer in the group. And then we had the seventies supremes And i became sort of like the keeper of of everything and the manager of the trains and all those different things. So i accumulated the gown because of that and whenever anyone would leave As you know a couple of them. Did i ended up with all these counts because no one can take the guy. No one can take the gal with them. You know we the supremes as a group paid for them. And that's how. I ended up with the majority of the gals. Now all other gallons should be in my possession but The reason that i can't tell you how many i have is because many have been not just lost and i won't say stolen you know things have just disappeared. And then some of the places we have them stored you know. I don't i couldn't figure out where everything was stored inside. All these years asked the supreme i have just been Trying to recover those downs that are not in my collection but it really is my collection. Because as i said when i left everything was left to me also should say that even though they were left to me and i had bare instead of three Sometimes i ended up with just one but all three gowns were overset were supposedly with me.

"Who this frames were? There were the female answer to the temptations temptations for the crimes. So Barry Gordy Jr wanted a female group that would be their counterpart and they became the prime. It's very Wilson, Florence Ballard, Diana Ross, former Detroit back in 1959 and a string of hits out of that Motown factory that would just just unbelievable Mary Wilson died today at the age of 76. Like all the singers in the Supremes, she grew up in the projects in Detroit. She and Ross and Florence Ballard would show up at Hitsville USA. It was a it was basically a house that was converted into a studio in Detroit, and they'd show up after school. They were in high school. And they would sing, and they were trying to impress Berry Gordy Jr finally said, OK, get on in here. Let's see what you got. They lay down some tracks, and that was the start. Oven. Unbelievable career. They were extremely extremely popular, particularly with you here. But this this country was horrible. Back in In the forties and fifties, there were only certain stations that would play. Black artists. There were only certain stations that would play white artists and largely because there were certain stations that on Lee played white artists there were stations that gave a voice to black artists. And so what happened in the sixties is Aziz. We began to move out of that Neanderthal kind of thinking. We way began to have crossover heads and the Supremes and the Temptations vote counted. General was at the forefront of that, and the Supremes were They were just did they dressed? Well, they sang well, They seem to just be having so much fun.

"Florence Ballard. And, of course, the great Diana Ross. Mary Wilson has died at the age of 76 years old and Len, I mean, you were You know, I know the Supremes just because everyone knows them. But you were around when they first broke through. What was it like to hear the Supremes the first time before anyone else had heard them when they when you first heard him on the radio, you know what Now? What year would they have broken through for the first time? So you know, I certainly remember there was that 60 early sixties early sixties. I certainly member their Hey day because they were they were huge. I mean, every song was a hit kiss. We could go on and on and on and on. Come on. You probably fill up the whole segment with Supremes hits. I mean, they were. They were great. I mean, they they were just you know, there were the height of Motown. Come on. They were great. Absolutely. In fact, one of the great moments of the theater on the Broadway theater I had was, I went to the opening of Motown. The musical. I can't say It was a very good show, to be honest with you. But Everybody in the audience was a Motown icon. Diana Ross was there. Stevie Wonder. I was gonna say, Marvin Gaye, but he wasn't there. Some of the the original Jackson five, but they were there. About the types and the temps. Yeah, they were held attempts were there and Mary Wilson. She was there. And at the end of the show, all those Motown icons got up on stage Natalie and they all started doing their songs. It was. It was a Motown re union. Everything I was seated right behind Berry Gordy, the founder, Motown and Diana Ross. Now you may know very guardian, Diana Ross. They had a tempestuous, tempestuous I should say affair, right? And there were rumors that you know the break up was very ugly. So City behind Diana and Berry. And there's a scene in the play where Berry Gordy is forcing Diana Ross to have an abortion. Well. Whoa! And I saw him watching the real. I'm watching. The actors played Berry Gordy in diary. You're looking at them dramatic, and then then I'm looking at them to see what they do it and they held hands and buried, leaned over and kissed her on the top of her head. Just give us kind of a nice moment that all was forgiven. They got past it so anyway, Mary Wilson, co founder of the legendary Supremes, one of the great groups of all time, Come on, let's play a little bit more, a little bit more music. What? Don't you want more? And one more. I mean, this one was huge, too. How man I remember. I remember the first It's a Motown TV specials. I was first time I ever saw Michael Jackson do the moonwalk and I went. Whoa, baby, it was like, anyway, they were the Supremes. But you have to say, by the way that Diana Ross and Mary Wilson they had they had a very difficult relationship, too. I mean, the story of the Supremes is not a happy one because they all started out as equals. But Diana was frankly, you know, just more attractive than the other two and she became the superstar and the jealousy and the envy and the resentment that built up their broke the group apart. If you want to hear if you want to see a great Broadway musical, and that way you'll know this one dream girls. Dream girls is based is based on the Supremes, and they're very difficult relationship and that's a great musical Dreamgirls. I saw that show. I saw the original. Yeah, that was good. Yeah, but generally speaking of Broadway Joe Allen restaurant on 46 3 Big Broadway hangout. I'm sure you knew Joe passed away at the age of 87. But you said something a little earlier that we can't wait to hear the details on that. You. Michael Riedel were banned from Jo Alan, is that you? I lived at Joe Allen and or so and his barb arson trolley, which was above or so I lived there for years. I mean, almost every night. I was eating there back in the day. And one night I'm up there in Barson Trolley. And, uh, a couple of five is about to leave a couple of stagehands and a couple of box office. Guys come in. Hey, Michael. Let's buy you a drink, cause I always loved the stage hands of the box office guys. So you know, they bought me a few drinks. I was a little bit of my cups and then Philip Seymour Hoffman he was starring in death of a salesman on Broadway Him he hadn't made this story just gets better and better don't believable. Esso Lovett name. So Philip Seymour Hoffman came in with the cast of death of a salesman and they plop down in there, Booth and I'd heard how good he was in the show hadn't opened yet, but I heard my spies were telling me it zone amazing performance. So as I was getting up to leave, and that was a little wobbly have to say I thought it would go over and say hello. He never met me before. So I went over to his booth. And I had heard that his dying scene at the end. You know, the last thing before Willy Loman kills himself was incredibly moving. Not now. I can't have you ruin it for me. I had no idea whether you like welfare. I meant to say I meant to say I cannot wait. To see your performance. But what I said was, I cannot wait to see you die, And then I collapsed onto him. He got extremely ornery and And I, and then I sort of got a little belligerent back to him. And then a little bit of a little fight ensued. And the next thing I knew I little fight what could defied a little fight. I can't remember to be honest with you, but it got like, Oh, you're not a fighter, so you couldn't have had much in? Yeah, I mean punch first, who punched first day memories. Memories of Michael. Real.

Jon M. Chu - how the internet changed visibility for Asian Americans
"And if you could ever like yourself as the subject of a story it's like it almost takes a work of imagination to like you know. See that who you are can. Yes object store. I mean I basically grew up in. I think that's part of both my power and my weakness is like. I grew up in an environment in the Silicon Valley in the eighties and the nineties. And so I know that perspective because I grew up in the perspective of like Oh are Asians the other when you're surrounded by it. You are indoctrinated it and so you know what they're thinking and I grew up in a Chinese restaurant as well. So the fears of what people think of you are completely intertwined in your brain and in your heart. I think the Internet changed so much because when I watched youtube video and for instance and dance like I saw how fast the perspective of what Asians are as dancers in the dance world. When I started Asians were known as amazing hip hop dancers. But when I went to those tournaments and these these these conferences whereas they're six thousand Asia American dancers and their amazing hip hop dancers. And that's where they Kaba. Modern was job. Jabotinsky was there. Were all these amazing answers. And the world didn't know about it and in the span of like four or five years everybody knew about it and suddenly it's like. Oh Asians condense. When did you start going to these dance and I went? Let's see my cousin was going to San Diego State. And so she'd be like you have to come see this because you like dance and this is incredible and so. I want to say it was like two thousand six two thousand five. The collaboration or which dance competition was this They Will Aberration Star. Collaboration collaboration but there's also other ones but data for the first time. And that's when I did step up to I was like when I was creating sabotage like crews because I've seen these crews And Job Lock is like the. All Star like they weren't there was no ABC. At the time there was no nobody knew them they had never been filmed before so we got them very very early. But witnessing the shift of people seeing agents dancers and stink. Oh there can be the best. When you see these Korean dancers in those Uniqlo ads or in missy Elliott videos like it changed and I could see how fast that oh it just takes an example. I love that you have always seemed to love dance and music and sort of gravitated towards those areas in your work. Obviously I remember. I went to the set of your web series. You're super can't series the St shooting like a showdown seen in the town true we had. They're kicking us out in fifteen minutes so he just shoot like our whole last episode at fifteen minutes. It was insane. I was I was there. It was pretty great. And you really between that project and the step up movies and the Adam Chu dance crew. Which I'm GonNa make you explain to turn around and the Internet back then but you really seem to to be able to lean into these interests of yours but at the same time create company of talent like Harry Shum Junior. Got So many greats spotlights through your works with him and so many other dancers got on my rematch. Cast Nets smarr. All that stuff was crazy. It was crazy times. How did that like what? What kind of role did that project? First of all. How do you describe it now? Looking back I mean we were early and Youtube. There's two thousand seven two thousand eight. Maybe I don't know maybe two thousand eight nine somewhere around there and basically we had done step up to and Miley Cyrus had watched the movie and so she called our fourteen year old star of that movie atoms. Vanni who played Moose in the movie and left a message. He didn't answer he she him as I loved you in that movie congrats and didn't leave a number and so she's like fifteen or sixteen and he's fourteen. He calls me like. Oh my Gosh Miley Cyrus just called me. Can you get me her number? I'm like a I don't know how to get her now to call her age. He's like Yeah Asia. No I'm not going to do that but she was already had a youtube channel and we had already were thinking. Hey we should do some videos on youtube thing and so I was like she has her best friend. Mandy. Who's a dancer like? Let's challenge them to a dance battle and just challenger and maybe she'll answer because she knows who you are so we got our crew together and made this crazy video challenging her to a dance battle and two days later she answered and she had the biggest youtube channel at the time This is at the height of her sort of power. And when she answered us She got all her celebrity. Friends made it like music video and got included channing. Tatum and Jenna Dewan in their video. Which is kind of a slap in the face to us. We'll man dance battling real though we should. We should resolve more things. Thought those this was west side story digital like this real shit and people online like really got into it. People who hated Miley could be on our side and then people who love it could be on her side and we made another video. After and we pulled out our Rolodex we got like Sandler Lindsay Lohan. We got Chris Brown before the incidence of Diana. Ross Amanda bines before here incidents. We've got a lot of people. And then we got a huge amount of his we've got millions and millions of hits and at that time it was big and so then she answered again with like helicopters and Ryan secret and all these people about this whole thing which I remember it being just so huge but it's kind of an example of growing an Internet age community in a way very very like demonstrably has power. I mean you've also worked with Justin bieber twice and saw how how strong his phantom is. So it's kind of cool to see the Asian American community rally around Craze Rich Asians and that came out not that at all at all related to one another safe. You know all these I mean they are little bit though. That's that's what I wanted to ask about his Asian American dance crews and southern California's. Such a thing you know I went to Ucla. Watch them and it's so cool to kind of hear you talk about how. Yeah Yeah I mean I you know. And Jabber walkies like weren't they on like America's best dance crew or something like that but that was that was when like the world got to know them but before that they were in ACDC dance crew before they were actually as during while they were on there. They were in step up before they were ever On match you put you put the Jabber walkies on the map that you represented elsewhere. We film them for those for sure. I had already made my first studio movie and yet I still felt like when I would watch youtube. This is like energy and I reminded myself that. I didn't have to ask permission for anything like I could have a camera. I know how to edit and I ended all the. Are you to battle videos? I didn't have to answer to anybody. And that's an amazing confidence builder and powerful thing to know that you have at your fingertips and you can have millions of people watching it tomorrow. Not next week. When a marketing company goes not with the press release like just releasing it. There was a big lesson to me during that time knowing that I have no excuses not to make stuff at any moment that I wanna make

Grammy Awards: Performances, winners, highlights
"I will say this about the about the about the Grammys. It was long. I mean long it started at seven. And it ended at a quarter to eleven. Oh, yeah. That's yeah. That's really long. Yeah. And you the know you had your e. Red carpet, which I think started around noon. The get gets Seacrest out there. And there's you know, they're they're out there for three hours before the before the show so long. It was a long long night for all the people who were there. The overall. I mean, like I said earlier the Grammy's really is. Not like other award shows in that they're mostly concerned with the performances not so much, you know, the awards themselves. They only hand out a few awards during during the Grammy's mostly it's about. It's about the performances and there were there was a ton of performances on the on the show. Some were good some weren't. Like, I said for me the best performance of the night. With brandy Carlisle. Who I really like a lot. And I thought her I thought she gave the best performance. And and of course, you had you had your tributes there. Diana Ross turned seventy five and she did she did your basic Diana Ross over the top performance. And. Herger grants her grandson introduced her and he's nine and he's got like an incredible head of hair. He was he was real. He was really he was really very very funny this kid, and then there was a tribute to Dolly Parton, which was great because Dolly Parton. That's that's the one that. I I really wanna go back and watch. Yeah. It's it's you definitely should because. Between her and Cyrus working together. And then. Her singing the song called red shoes? I just you know, I mean, I love I love Dolly Parton. She's she's phenomenal. So but overall, I I mean, I did think it was way too long. And you know, they were cutting their speeches.
