"At Lambeau. We went forward instead, didn't get any and then Green Bay won the game. Yeah, I'm a go with the opposite, not an overreaction here. I think that he did make the right call. I think going forward. Dak Prescott on fourth down, I give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe this is what I always say. I agree with the call. I'm sorry I agree with the decision. I love to see something different. Draw something up. Why is that ball not going to CD limb, right? Why is it yesterday? Yeah, those two to me, I'm designing something for my God I have it players, right? To me, back in the day, that's going to Dez Bryant, right? There are certain guys who I'm going to rely on. I saw with Minnesota Vikings yesterday. I know there have been a topic of mine, but fourth and fourth and 18 game one online. I don't care. I'm just going to throw it up. And outlast my guy to go make a play. I didn't like that call yesterday. For mister Michael McCarthy. Yeah. I didn't like the fact that CD was clearly had pass interference on him on that play. Come on, the defender turned him inside out. No, I didn't like that play. I think you got to do something different. I said this earlier. If Mike McCarthy knows anything, it would be kicking field goals, you know, there in that stadium with the field. You know, so I agree with you, Kirk. You can't get mad about going for it as a fan, but I didn't love that. At first I was more on being more conservative, and I think about it, he's on the road, though. Cowboys on the road, you gotta, you know what I'm saying? You're not gonna, you're not gonna hold on for the win. I always say, as a road team, you're never gonna hold on for a win, you take wins. Gotcha. So I thought he was trying to take the win. And the flip side of that, let's talk packers real quick. Packs back, baby, mojo's back, and they're gonna get into the playoffs as

"Aaron Taylor, new offensive lineman with us, and he walks onto the field as the highest paid player on your team. I mean, it can't feel great, you were hoping for the best because it means bigger contracts for you, assumingly, down the line, but in that moment, you got to look at the kid, the 21 year old kid, I may have turned 22. 22 year old kid at the time. Walk out on the field. And then already be on this pedestal and having done nothing. And that's where I was. But the funny thing about it was I thought I deserved it. This is exactly where I'm supposed to be. I'm going to do exactly what I did in college. This isn't going to be a problem. Our first meeting that I had coach gilbride at the time, Kevin gilbride, wasn't it really, you know, a gung Ho, you know, screaming and yelling type of coach. He was a coach that was very confrontational, right? He expected things done his way, and he had a bit of a struggle of a year of the year before, but this was supposed to be something that could jump start everything. And a new quarterback, a big physical quarterback in the vein of Warren Moon to take his offense to the next level, right? And so when we went into practice, it was kind of like that, right? I loved every minute of it. I loved it. I loved that. It was all football. Like there was no worries about class coming up or anything like that. You were in the film room. My quarterback coach was June Jones and him and I spent every waking minute off the field in that film room, right? I think sometimes I get labeled as a guy that didn't work hard, right? And that's kind of a caricature of me. You go back to that early camp in June Jones is speaking glowingly about how much time and effort I'm putting in to being the starting quarterback wanting to be the starting quarterback in the film room and film was never an issue for me. I mean, I would fall asleep in my head coach's office in college and he'd get to wake me up in the morning with the blue screen up on the wall because I fell asleep watching film in his office, right? That was never the case. It was all about how I dealt with failure. That was where my downfall was. worked hard, and now a few weeks in to camp after my performances in early preseason games, I was named the starter. It was everything I wanted. There was nothing that was going to hold me back from being the starter. Now, should I have been the starter in year one? Probably not. Not because I didn't earn it, but just mentally maturity, all of the things that come with being an NFL quarterback. Completely not ready. But there was nothing going to stop me from being it. That was like the competition. That made me who I was, what I was supposed to be. If I wasn't, that would have been a knock on me, right? That would have been something's wrong with him. How does he not have to start her now? And so once that was announced, as you guys know, there's a lot of rookie hazing, especially for the first round draft picks. And they were taking guys after practice and taping them to the goalposts. Dumping Gatorade bass on them, which I kind of endearing. I don't know another grown man hauling me to a spot in taping me up is something I would be okay with, but I mean, outside of that form. Right. Outside of that forum. But it was team camaraderie, all those things, right? Well, one night I was watching film and junior sale, the leader of that team, the leader of the defense. He walks into the film room there, and he says, baby boy, that's what was my nickname. Tyrese. I liked it. I mean, I thought it was pretty cool that one of the greatest players of all time had baby boy. We're not going to tape you this week, but you're going to take the defense out to dinner. And I said, well, I can't spend the time away. I got to watch film here. Here's my credit card. Wow. There's some trust there, right? There's some trust there. So I gave him my credit card. And he went with the defense and they went out and had a heck of a time. I heard that some of the defensive guys just showed up for ten minutes, walked in and asked for a couple of bottles of cristal and out they went. I think the bill ultimately was around $5000 or just above that. That's not too bad. Wow, I thought it would be way higher. Right. Well, don't forget, back in 1990. That's true. 1998. It was a different monster. Things weren't, I don't think we've had that $50,000 bill that Dez Bryant talks about all the time, right? That had come around. So this was and also I felt like it was, I felt like it endeared me to the team. I felt like I was part of the team. Not only was I doing something productive by watching film in the film room, but now I was given it to being a part of it with the defense. I don't care. I remember when the bill came back, I remember the first $5000. The most I'd ever spent in my life on anything, I don't know. I don't know, a hundred bucks. You know? My parents bought the air George, right? So I don't know. I don't remember having spent any money up to that point. On anything. So it was shocking, you know? But I was like, okay, okay. I just got $31 million. I guess $5000 is okay. It's perspective and how you look with it. But I love that it was, I loved where we were going. I love where we were trending. And we went out to practice a couple of days later. I threw a

"One of us. Then there's still no time limit. We have not. We're still drafting. How many teams? 14 teams? 14. 14 teams. I mean, what a nightmare. 14 teams, that's a nightmare alone, right? It's a lot. It's a lot. How many guys do you draft? 15. Oh my God. So there's nothing left in the waiver wire at all. No, it's a Slim Pickens, you go throughout the year. All right, so you can't even a waiver wire is basically insignificant. You'll hardly, if you desperately need somebody, get somebody to replace. Yeah, you pretty much have to draft wisely. Pretty much. And then there's no time limitation on how long it takes for someone to pick. Wow. Honestly, yeah. I know, we've been talking about this for ten years. Why don't they change? Aren't there enough people with lives to get to? I think for the people with no lives, this is their one break from that non life. So they're interested in spending as much time as they can. Well, I mean, it sounds like the minority is ruling. Sounds like America. Those were your words. That was my word. I don't think that's how America works. Is that right? That's how it's working at the moment. I didn't mean that minority. To be clear. Phil Rosenthal coming up. So yeah, cam Akers is a bust. I think he's going to be Sam hackers. Can I just say something real quick about the defending world champs? Sure. This is talking about them either. This is Los Angeles bias in the national media. In terms of just not talking about them. If this was the Patriots, that's all we'd be talking about. If this was the Giants, forget it. If this was the cowboys, oh my God, you'd be talking about this team, so why don't we do that? Because it's Los Angeles. That's why, but we could change that. That's why I'm doing it right now. Let's go. Eskimo ask most teams, ask most fan bases. Would you take Sean mcvay if you could to have him as your coach? Oh, I mean, how many teams would probably not take care? Would you take Aaron Donald? They have potentially the best wide receiver, best coach, and best defensive player of the last 20 years. On it. And they retained most everyone else. What's not to love? But I bet you, if you asked most people, there's such a funny shot to win it all this year based on just put this on a poll question. Who's got the best chance to win the Super Bowl out of the opening night participants? Do you think the bills would win 7 out of every ten votes? Right now. You think the bills are stuck. When 70 30, bills would win 70 30. Maybe 65, something like that, yeah, right around there. Yeah. Put up. Put up. And I might turn out to be one of them in the end, just because merely it's so difficult to repeat. Like we have still not seen it. Since years one and two of NFL network and this is year 19 season number 20. Isn't that amazing we came out of the box on NFL network and it was the repeat champions and it was a patriots and back to back years beating the Panthers and the eagles and back to back years it's the last time that happened. And just so that alone, we're overdue. Stafford's terrific, come on now. They got Bobby wander on top of it. Honestly, if the cowboys had, let's just say, Dez Bryant back in the day. Dez had a season like cup. Okay. And, you know, Jason Garrett was viewed as the brilliant young coach, like McVeigh was viewed. Well, he was at one point. And Romo Romo was like that journeyman who finally broke through. Right? Forget it. We're back in a minute. Don't let this flop. "When I went. So sounds good. All right, it's all pretty. We've got these blitzes. They can't block it blah, blah, blah. We get into the game. I guess spec knowledge didn't account for is that Tony Roma had seen this defense before. And so Tony Romo, he looked and I've never he kind of did a double take, then he looks over at Dez Bryant and he gets Dez Bryant like the like one of these. I just go. And sure enough, said, smash the football Dez Bryant does a little move. Goes over top four touchdown. That was the first one. Second time around. Tony Romo sees it. He looks, can't believe we're in that same defense again, gives Dez Bryant the signal over the top touchdown. So now what's the adjustment? All right guys, we are out of that defense. We're now gonna go cover two and we're gonna help Patrick Robinson. Well, coach, what about this blitz from the other side? We're not doing anymore. Coach, what about this pressure from the back? We're not doing anymore. We're going cover two and we're going to help out Patrick Robinson and you linebackers D line, you got to hold up in the run game. So that's what an adjustment is in the middle of the game where you say, well, Dez Bryant has two touchdowns early in the game. Third quarter, he doesn't have any more catches. He's like, well, what happened? What we smartened up. And we gave up 14 points and then we now are helping our boy out because he can't cover him. And not in a bad way. Just couldn't do it that day. It wasn't his day. And then we now have to make up in the run game somehow or something like that. So, you know, that's where adjustments come in. Chris long was right though. D line is like, look, just get after a quarterback. Stay in your gap, get after the quarterback. Okay, but what makes a good coach versus a bad coach not working to adjust? Yeah, but what's more important, the in game stuff or in game? So in game Trump's like, hey, do we want to fight for this guy like a Dan Campbell, Mike Tomlin certainly in that group, preparation throughout the week, efficiency and all that kind of stuff like all of that's great, but it doesn't mean shit to you if you can't figure it out in games. Is that what you're telling me? Correct. So the coaches and this is what I always love about.

"That's what I'm saying. Yeah, and I know you'll say, whatever, it's a Texans, but they score like 50 straight against them after getting down in the playoffs a couple years ago. So I think he's the only guy maybe Rogers. I was going to say you can't leave him out. Rogers Rogers mahomes might be the only ones that I would feel comfortable saying, okay, you need to figure out a way. Granted Minnesota, the Minnesota game, which I referenced in the open where they lost in the field goal. That was a game where Rogers eventually had to start pushing it a little bit more. But that's not what mahomes did. Again, look, it's the Texans nobody's going to believe the Texans even in the playoffs are even a worthy adversary. So all right, none of this is all that surprising. Let me pivot to something else then, because this is something else that I feel like NFL coaches now are basically judged on their fourth round decisions. So if you're doing stuff and it works on fourth down, you're like this guy's awesome. And then when it doesn't work or if you kick a field goal, you're like this guy sucks. I feel glad you brought this up. I believe I would like to believe in my years of talking about football that perhaps there's a little bit more to whether or not a coach is good or not. The week, the preparation, the game planning, having a game plan, the adjustments, and one thing we always had with Chris long was on the show all the time. And I know you're going to agree, I would be like, what are adjustments? Take me through a store. Tell me a story about a half time adjustment. He's like, seriously, when you're on the D line, you don't even know what we're doing. Because it's mostly backend stuff. He goes so if I'm being completely honest, like, to say, oh, we did this, and we studied here, or we went after this guy, way more agap. He goes, most of it's always on the back end anyway to be honest with you. So what do you think? Give me an example of when you see something happening. This is a good coach. This is a bad coach. And take this for as long as you want to to kind of because I could tell you're already keyed up a little bit based on just the fourth down decision stuff that's going on. Oh my goodness. So yeah, I gotta start with the fourth ounce. And then I'll talk about the adjustments. But fourth down, let's first talk about this whole analytics thing quote unquote that is in part ruining the game of football in part helping the game of football because here's why. When you have people that have never played the game, and they want to start giving you analytics. And I'm not shitting on anyone that hasn't played the game. It's going to make sense, don't worry. I'm not trust me. I'm not shitting on them. What I'm saying is when you haven't played the game, you got to be in the fire to understand sometimes your analytics can and should be overridden, right? So you can not sit here and just go, you know, I'm just going to die by dinosaur with this analytic stuff when you can see the game and be like, all right, I hear your analytics, but this particular scenario, it's different. And it's no different than surgeons, right? It's more of an art. It's not a science every time. They can and do the book says one thing and then they can and do other things to complete the surgery, right? That's what happens once they get inside. So the analytics keeps telling these coaches, go for it on fourth. Go for it on fourth. Go for it on fourth. And they're not taking in it to account the totality of the game, which is working my last nerve. Because when you have a defense that is stinking and you're trying to tell me that you're going to go for it on the 45 yard line where if you don't get it, all they need is a first down and kick a field goal or worse, they're gonna get a touchdown 'cause you're getting a short field, stop with your analytics. You have to look at what happened in the game, your defense sucks. So if your defense sucks, stop going for it. Actually plentiful and then give your defensive chance because statistically, and I don't understand why they don't bring up these analytics. It is exponentially more times harder to score touch down from inside your ten backed up than it is from the plus 45. Just look at the percentages of all the drives that start in the backed up and the ten. And in the 45 and you see how many times people score. So I just don't understand why they bring this analytics into these silos and it's only for this fourth down and makes sense, so you've got to do it, you gotta do what you gotta do. No, you don't have to do it. Look what's going on in the game and then you realize if you should or shouldn't do it. So that's what the analytics stuff and I bring it up on four down because you also have these coaches that say, I don't care, I want to go for it on fourth down, screw your analytics. I can respect that. I can respect that more than you just saying, I'm gonna dime a sword with this analytics as opposed to saying, look, this is how I feel about this game. I wanted to push the issue the whole time. And because I wanted to push the issue, I was going for on fourth down. Boom, done. That's a head coach's decision. That's what he wants to do. Let him do it. And stop trying to rip him for it for being aggressive or vice versa being conservative and putting it every time or whatever situation is. So that was my long running rant on these damn analytics, but now to go to your point about adjustments. So I'll give you a great example of adjustments in the game. We had Dallas, it wasn't the Thanksgiving game, but we had Dallas in Dallas. And this was with defense coronary Steve's fac nolo who there was Dez Bryant in his prime, Tony Romo, lighten it up, and we had a corner by the name of Patrick Robinson, who was really good, extremely athletic. He's the big guy, right? He was pretty big for a corner, wasn't he? He was. He was about 6 one, two, ten, super athletic. So spagnolo felt that he had enough confidence to lock Patrick Robinson up one on one against Dez Bryant. And this was basically the thesis of our game plan for that week. And we were going to roll coverage away, we were going to blitz from the other side. We're going to get pressure, et cetera, et cetera, but it was all predicated on Patrick Robinson being able to hold up.

I didn't understand it at all. i still don't understand it. Twenty four hours later but anyways beyond that. There's still a month to go before the regular season. And i think for several weeks now when we've talked about jesse his contract i've compared it to the agent green situation back in twenty fifteen age agreeing waited until dez bryant engineers tomlin's both sides. "I said we'll play. You know. I don't ever stay like won't play heads up man no be. I would say that until like a approach. The world series. Sure but i'll say how can you play. Just us to right. You don't want to like you don't want to ever like give off the vibe that you wanna play heads up. I do okay. We'll play till we have two seats and you're not gonna take good notes when you're playing heads up. You're not you shouldn't be on your phone at all because all you're doing is keeping your opponent engaged. In many cases like a lot of people are uncomfortable with heads up even against someone pawn it off right away and just yeah made one hand but you you to keep them engaged and you gotta get locked right and i just have this feeling whenever i get heads up that no matter what's been going on our heart been running have been playing. I just feel like. I'm going to get all the chips right and it was pretty quick and i and i know i've run hot overall heads up in my life for sure i've ever very poorly in a few sessions but overall i've been very hot and that's what happened here. It was easy and fast. This guy didn't even have to go to the cage. He could just go straight home so it worked out great for both of us. I got all his chips with quickness. And it's just you know it heads up takes away. My biggest leak is is lack of patience and and just when you know you know you lose the minimum in spots where muscles heads up and then when you just know your hand is good and and you're just locked in on this one opponent right and you're not on your phone not taking notes. You're just you're just engaging your you're being funny you're making fun for this person in in when you know they have you cooler than you fold you make it sound like you had nothing and it's that's not dirty it's fucking poker poker. A soft hustle always has been always will got disguised. Chips went to the other game. Let me take another sip of coke zero and just like that. I raised the one k. Punt the death tax. Catch up with your old running mate. You're gonna act like it's ten years ago and you guys are gonna just. It's a lot more fun with the straddle on the not right and the people who are good at poker is a lot better. Pots are bigger. It's more complex. The game right and it's only not good for the people suck life of the game and it's unfortunate. They can find another one. I don't know. I don't not worry about them. Yeah so getting this game. Yea we'll tell you. How dominant lamar jackson. Squad can't be next speak for yourself. How one in l. lee's rivals are at it again. As the mets battled the phillies diamondbacks. Big papi's monday the baltimore. Y'all where to raise came four. Yahu power rankings. So expectations are obviously hot. Dez bryant said. His former team could easily be the most dominant team in the league. The added you should not be able to cover any wideout. Because the lamar jackson run game dominate. Kenmare ravens the ravens can be as dominant this year's the buffalo bills. Where last year would a silly with the ceiling. Win a playoff game. Maybe to they're not about to go and win a chip and it's no indictment necessarily on the ravens but just the way sports work you alluded to it before you ascend to the top of the mountain you have to pass checkpoints isn't sports in life. Y'all go back to video games. You can just turn on. Mario and go straight to beat. Bowser somebody somebody else and then you get to play. Bowser patrick mahomes as great as he is didn't walk into the league and go straight to the super bowl. Leaky lost the afc championship game. And then he went to and won the super bowl jaanus as great as he is. He didn't walk into the league and go straight to an nba championship. He lost like you're just brought up last block eastern conference finals and conference semis and then went to the championship. I would submit if the sons were to find their way back in the nba finals next year. They probably win. Because that's just the way. It works mentally as a team coaches and organizations. You gotta get there. I get to the hill and then get over the hill so the ravens can be dominant. But i think again so they can be regular season dominant. Why do i say that. And what does that mean. I wasn't planning on going here because both play a game in a regular season. You only have two three real days to prepare for an opponent. Play a game on sunday. I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to them but it looks like i'm talking. You play a game on sunday. Monday's off your tuesday's an off day depending on the organization monday therefore the recovery. Day or tuesday's recovery day. The on the organization wednesday and thursday or your grueling days of practice you out on the field for about two hours five minutes and you're in meetings for another three hours collectively defensive meetings positional meetings special teams meetings by friday as a walk-through heading on the organization. And glorified walk through saturday. Things up some organizations flip. It saturday is a walk through friday. You read things up. It's two to three practice days but come the playoffs sale. You already know what it is. I only went to the playoffs once but come into play offs week seventeen. Your coaches are no longer really studying the week. Seventeen game win studying that gave the on week. Seventeen the last week of the season where we eighteen this year. The quality control coach the The the not. The gpa is college but the assistant coaches. They already prepping for that playoff game. So if you've got to see the ravens they're no longer worried about you playing the bengals week. Seventeen there now already. Studying for lamar jackson. What is typically only two days of preparation in the regular season turned into six to seven days of preparation in the postseason. I think the can be regular season. Dominant but i think by the postseason. The adjustment will start to occur again. And i don't see them being super bowl dominant this year now because of the lack of preparation or since that they can make that transition leap correct. I put it like this. Let me let me break it down for those down college here. Playing the university of oklahoma probably the toughest opponent added pre prepare for in college or the nfl university of oklahoma. They don't run a ton of plays but they run so fast. You don't know you left from right. Oh my they already under center as running play action right or hand off right action left or off left with a bootlegs off of all of it but they're so hard to prepare for. Oh runs through the big twelve. But we've seen them get to the college football playoffs. Believe it's the last three years or two of the last three years and what happens. They get smacked now. It's not just because now they're playing the use of the world playing the georgia's of the world's but come the college football playoffs. Now you have more time to prepare for oklahoma. So what's typically hard during the week when you only got two to three practice days a week in two now i understand when they go hurry up all their running a stretch right stretch left booed off booed off the left straight drop dropback zone Zone reads own power all of a sudden. Now you have more time to prepare for that and thus you have a better chance of stopping them. I think it's the same thing with the more. Okay here we go. That's what i need to hear. What stops the ravens aren't opponents. it's themselves okay. Is greg roman is dez. Bryant talked about this should be the most dominant team in the league. Y simple principles of football reggie bush and i had this conversation. I left one type. Simple principles of football is if i could threaten you and really extremely threatened you like to the point of like respect almost fear then everything else opens up. Same thing happens in basketball. If i've got a j seven footers now shoots reporters because it opens up everything else especially if athleticism to dribble drive so when you're running back if i know you know i can run you over. Oh you entropy auto. Because i can do i can do do anything to you but if i don't threaten you guess what it's gonna be tough to do anything. That's the baltimore ravens the baltimore ravens can run. The football effectively and use pointed out in a regular season. They win the division when visit second division. They lose the playoffs loser plows. They win playoff game and loose right. Okay that's the baltimore. Ravens innocent in summary. Here's the problem. They don't play complementary football. they don't used their inability because all they want to do is run you over. Guess what you just sit there and say okay you can run me.

"That patriots and all of a sudden they're winning games again So i think there's two styles and i think they both worked Just depending on the players on the field you know you have the one where You know the coach. They're really hard on you. I think guys come together as a team. I think they. They almost bond as kind of hatred towards the coast. Got a thing or kinda just because they going through tough times together and anytime you go through a tough time but you you really become brothers. Come good france. You remember the struggle. I stuff that you remember for the rest of your life and I think you come together as a team that way. And then You know the other way where Guy like john fox and denver was it was. He's amazing players go. He's out there. he's having fun with us. he's telling jokes. I almost felt like he was teammates. And in that scenario you just have to have guys that are really disciplined to have good leaders on your team. Because if they're not the players are gonna take advantage of the situation like that and then the team just falls apart so You can be done both ways. A lot of it depends on the players on your team as well. so so. here's a good question. You talk about the other players. So what about the other players. Do you all hang out in practice on an equal level or did or. Did you have to like pay your dues if you're a rookie. Stop after high school so rookie. Year in the nfl. The hazing definitely does not stop The lyman had a pretty bad in dallas. When i was there They had to have had their body shape. Some of them I one good friend Still kosta had the checkerboard Haircut put patches in. His hair is ridiculous but yeah they're they're eating like chili peppers and stuff before practice and oh they're the ad like the guys are toward. They got tortured a little bit. But that sounds kind of Yeah it was it was. It was a rough for them so No you definitely get it and You know it's like their right of passage especially for the linemen so I think that's going away a little bit more and more time just because it's social media and stuff like that but yeah you either way. I mean you're gonna. You're gonna buy a rookie dinner. I think we had the the most well known rookie dinner when i was there when they meet dez bryant I've heard about the really really pay the bill every. Oh yeah so. I will be. The rookies are supposed to carry the pads in right for that. So after practice Are you take your pads off your strategy cool down and then they me out of the rookies supposed to carry the pads. And we'll dez refuse to carry the pageant the receiver so they got him back at the rookie. Dinner where I think so. There's about seventeen guys. There was just offensive players and They make the rookies by dinner. So we went. To pappas grows and our bill ended up being over fifty thousand dollars at night. I you serious. Wow yeah there was a bottle of Louis thirteen called it a rare cask. The guy came out he opened it up and had lights in it and it came with the full story that you had to call the story and read it to us to learn about you know where it was made Only two bottles made it to the. Us it came from this guy. This rare cast that just tasted so much better than all the rest of them that they let it age for an extra ten years and then they they poured like fifty bottles out of that too made it to the us. I i still know the story and you had to pour it with Know white gloves on and each shot was seventeen. Hundred fifty dollars shock. Oh my god they got him back for not carrying. The pats man wishes he carry them. I don't know sounds like a a a great memory. It's all good right. I'll good boys will be boys in and you sounds like you guys had a great time for me I was capped. So as a undrafted. Free agent i. I was capped at a certain amount that i could pay the rent to be paid by the drafted players. So i had to pay my dues but they were cat and then there was one way out and there was a cup that they would put in the middle of the table and they fill it with whatever the vets wanted to go away so ours got filled with a lot of melted butter. A couple of shots They were dumping like putting like like like sushi and stuff in it too and then if you chug the entire cup and you didn't throw up that you didn't have to pay for the data. They offered it to me. And i turned it down. There was no way. I would be able to finish your big wine. Glass full of You know half melted butter. I heard it down my friend. My friend phil. Phil costs. Who i mentioned earlier. He did take it down without throwing up and he got out of the dinner impressive. I'm loving. I'm so i'm so enjoying just talk. You know these these just very candid stories And there are so many of them in the nfl. I'm looking at the clock though we're going to go for a quick break more coming up. "Way ancient. Nfl where they're only it. Was that time. We talked about brian. Westbrook where like you had to running backs it goes. It was still a very different game. Even though was almost twenty years ago and then the horse car rule was like new deal. Got hurt on that leg. This was still like this for him to be doing. That is pretty incredible and coming off that injury that he had the eagles which was a serious injury. Obviously he had gotten healthy since then but still for him to have gotten gained up like that and still be really productive. Like it's gio and Hated joe like hated seeing. Te'o as a kid after him. Being my favorite player on the yeltsin then coming back to the village member of the cowboys. That really sucked but Yeah i think it's is that the greatest like division move of all time or like like the greatest but like most controversial most like gasp. Inducing and i'm talking like all divisions yet to be like yoga for the eagles to the cowboys like that was that was pretty sick. But you mentioned to you. You had troy. Vincent in parentheses i in parentheses for the cowboys also had a different wide receiver. You're gonna roll your eyes dez bryant. Just because like at his absolute peak twenty twelve to twenty fourteen was in just an incredible run for dez bryant. He was. I mean physically capable of the same things as calvin johnson and he never got that. Do like i would have to believe that dez was in place. You were scared to play in that category. And like i mean he was on that level he never got like that and it's unfortunate and we talked about millions early like from now on like forever i'll people ever remember like the catch and was a catch wasn't a whatever like the was. He was this physical marvel. And i mean he's he's the franchise's all time leader in terms of receiving touchdown. So you can argue. He's properly rated but like he was incredible and he deserves that do. Yeah i would say does is properly rated more than underrated but you know. I know you like this. So throw yeah respect. That's a good note to end on. Biaggi what he won't talk about next week or do you want to it as suppress. That's a good point. Haven't thought that far ahead before we end. I set out to my trivia team which won at the new wave cafe in philly last night so shout out to us for the first time we played as a team together and we went in there we dominated so the ups us for for winning. And yeah i don't know what do you wanna talk about next week. I i don't know either. I do want that out. And that's to my boston bruins on. Nhl twenty on ps four. Very excited we have a lot of great plans for the future looking forward. You're gonna bring the cutback to to boston very exciting sense. You know boston. They haven't won enough sports stuff. So yeah that's them respect. I'll be responsible for that one kid who has the like sign like all the parades. I've seen whatever like i'm gonna. I'm gonna add to that tally that that kid.

"From deb. Bryant senior director of the open source program office at red hat. If you haven't listened to our last episode on open source tech. I highly recommend going back and giving it a listen before devon. I began our conversation. I want to let you any longer. Please sit back and enjoy my interview with dez bryant of red hat all right listeners. We are here with deb. Bryant of red hat to talk about open source technology. Hello deb how are you. I'm fine thanks. Thanks for having me. What would you say is your experience and the open source community. What makes you an informed. Interviewee while i have on a multi industry experience with open source. So it gives me a bit of unique perspective. I can touch on a few of those. I i experienced with open source was when i was then telcom networking in the cowboy days of the internet when it was first commercialized and we were creating. Isp's and everything was unknown and brand new a lot of the technology that we built that industry on even before it was known as open source was open-source the protocols some email all those things are open source and that's where i grew confident that Things that were developed as open source. Were really ready to rely on for an enterprise. It was building a commercially viable concerned with penal responsibility for the organization and open sources. What we used from there. I spent some time in the public sector and in the public sector open source was being used. Pretty much skunkworks in in the back office tools and applications. It wasn't really well known. Until a state legislator decided they wanted to mandate open source in the legislature was religion. Usual is very early was in two thousand and four. And i did a crash. Corson discovering how much open sources actually used by the government to be able to respond to a legislative. Hearing to a bill was horribly written. Bill it really gave some airtime in the public sector To open source said the discussions really began from there. I spent five or six years later. The university actually focusing on public sector adoption of open source at the university. Also at the lab became very familiar with communities because that's where the foundations infrastructure patchy foundation. Even lennox colonel. For a time was hosted there so became very familiar with the communities engineers and organising that produce open source. And then today i lead the open source program office at red hat which is one of the leading contributors open source and was the first commercial concerns generated billion dollars of revenue based on open source software. Yeah that's Pretty comprehensive from multiple angles so jumping off from that. What was what would be your high level definition.

Broncos Country Tonight
NFL Franchise Tag Tracker, Denver Broncos
"Own ego signing the franchise tag is gonna make you more money. In the long run. You will make more money off the franchise tag because you're still going to get the big money deal the next year or the year after. And it's interesting for like Dak Prescott, For example, he ended up getting the five year deal that Dallas ended up wanting simultaneously. He got more money up front. I mean, I think I remember he was six years ago. Control. They got everything they wanted out of exactly right. But on the other side, he had to wait for Patrick Holmes deal to come in. Yes, way for John Watson and better And that's you saying the market on Lee goes up You is an NFL team. You are one of two entities. You are the people that set the market or you are the people that are reacting to it. That's it. There is no in between, and so you can either get out in front of it and pay a guy and it's gonna be a cheap deal in two years. It's gonna be expensive. Looking at the front end. You're gonna get a little laughter when you sign it. And then two years and then your best bet go well, you got a quarterback, that's 80% of the market. Or you're gonna be. You know the team that it's reacting to the market and get going over pay for stuff. That's what happens. You know, the faster you get the deal done, the better off. You are period point blank end of discussion. By the way. Marcus may also got tagged today. So is it. We're tying to justice that was expected, You know, Like I said, I can't go to the particulars. But I had a great conversation there Senior bowl with Eric Burkhardt, who's Marcus Mae's agent? We're talking about the situation and everything, And I think those two safeties are eyeballing each other as far as what the contract Sorry. It's gonna be a question. Which team blinks first, but this was kind of like If we go back several years, everyone Dez Bryant and Marius Thomas. Both got tags. They both ended up getting their contracts done, but they literally got done within the same day. Well, it was pulled. Teams were waiting on the other one, You know, to kind of see the framework and see if they were the same ballpark. This deal done. And finally Jerry was, like, just do it here, you know, And that's and then the Broncos like, okay, we'll offer you that. It is very same thing crazy, so it might come down to the same kind of deal And if the Jets can get Marcus made done, they think Justin's will get done first, and I think it will get done early. Okay, So I think Justin's deal we've got well before the draft. Okay. All right. I like that. They've got to well after that to get it done. So that's just my hunch. Um, based on what I know about both sides of the situation and and again, it kind of comes back to the whole procedural word that was used. That was the word that the Broncos used. That's the word that we've understood this entire time. You've been listening the program, we said From a procedural standpoint, the Broncos will likely use that franchise tag for the second time on Justine Simmons is not the intense and not give him a long term deal. People are misunderstanding this situation, and I even had questions today about okay. Well, if they would've pushed back the franchise tag, maybe the Broncos could've gotten something done. Or maybe the Broncos should have tried to do something like the Cowboys were. This whole deal came together in like 24 hours. The fact is, if you You with the way it's supposed to be viewed, which is what the Broncos are doing. This is a we don't want you going anywhere. We don't want to risk getting to the final 11th hour and all of a sudden there's a paperwork issue, and we can't do a bill. That's exactly right. We do not want to risk that. We're not gonna stub our toe. And so we're going to go ahead and get this thing done now and understand they on the other side. The expectation by all parties involved is to get something long term done. Yeah, um and how it should be used by the way the doctor getting it done in 24 hours. I hate that. I hate that term because it's It's not really They were close last year last they were. They were close last twosome framework there, But I'm saying that like it really escalated over the last 24 hours. To appoint, at least at some of the reporting this out there really escalated over the last 24 hours that they were able to get to the finish line right before the franchise tag deadline, right, so that that's that's the thing Dallas has been called. They were close, actually Latin. Not last year, the year before last, Scuse me. Before the first tag that September. They were close. Stephen Jones, They believed they had it. They believed they had it and they were. There were some issues with length and and how the final two years of the deal were structured and all that kind of stopping. It fell apart last night, but they they thought Dallas thought they had it done. S o. You know, I'll just I'll just leave that at that. And we can we go up but a sparse the Broncos go. I have no doubts that they'll get this deal done. I really don't have 99.999999999% Sure they get this thing done, Okay? And then as far as

"With Mark and Rob. We were just talking about the whole Josh Holly book and how it's now been picked picked up by rectory after being dropped by Simon Schuster Robert Reich, who was a former secretary of Labor's Berkeley professor. Now he's got like 1.2 million followers on Twitter. Just listen and he's wrong all the time. He's wrong all the time. But listen to the wrongness today, he says. When here's the difference, folks. When Colin Kaepernick speaks out against racial injustice, no team will sign him. When Josh Holly gets dropped for helping incite an insurrection. He lands another book deal in less than two weeks. That's what white privilege looks like. Okay, so he went there. So can I have a moment, please? Because this gets set about Colin Kaepernick. All the time. And let's clarify exactly what happened with Colin Capper, Nick. Colin Kaepernick had a valid contract with the San Francisco 40 Niners He was going to make like I don't know. $16 million. He was the quarterback for the 40 Niners. They wanted him back. He opted out of his contract, which he had the right to do. They wanted him to keep playing. They wanted to hand him $16 million. He said. No, he said. I believe I'm worth more than that on the open market. Colin Kaepernick was okay. He wasn't very good. He was a backup quarterback. A bunch of teams looked at this guy and said we will. We were open to signing you for X, he said. I'm not playing for that, he said. I'd rather set out, they said by CIA, then all the other drama off the field drama happened and just like with Tim Tebow. Just like with Tim Tebow. They said, your skills do not correlate. To the drama that comes with you. Therefore, just like Tim Tebow, who again wasn't very good was a backup quarterback, They said. It's not worth it. That's why Colin Kaepernick is not in the NFL. It has nothing to do with race, racially motivated stuff or whatever else. He walked away from a guaranteed contract and then found Justus. Many other free agents white black, whatever. That you're not that you're not worth what you think you are, and therefore he's not in the NFL anymore. He made it worse on himself after he got out of football because he's not very good. And can we just? I mean, that's like, not even to mention all of the ridiculous endorsement deals that he got Sure, I mean, Come on. This is these two examples put against each other are so it's so apples and oranges Tim Tebow and Colin Kaepernick or not in the league for the same reason is the same reason a guy like Dez Bryant, who was a white receiver for the Cowboys, who thought he was worth the whole bunch of went in free agency and didn't get signed until just this year, was out for years. Your When your talent level your talent level dictates how much drama people will put up with you. If you're Patrick Mahomes could have a whole bunch of drama. He doesn't but he could because he's really good. Colin Kaepernick, Tim Tebow. One guy white. One guy black. One guy conservative. One guy liberal, both same issue very good. And then also had drama. So it's the same. It's not an example of white privilege. Robert Reich, you crazy person. You want to have a long career in the NFL. You have two options either Be really good. Or don't cause a bunch of drama and look in the case of Tim Tebow. I don't think the stuff he did was drama. The guy simply kneeled and was open about his Christianity. But people who own teams get to make those calls. Not the fan in the stands exactly quickly because I've cut into most of my time about Petra sexual trucks. There's a politician. He's a North Vancouver, Canada Council member, and he Triggered mass outrage on social media earlier this week because he posted a picture of a gigantic pickup truck on Twitter and his caption said the glorification of violence and domination. Hashtag unnecessary trucks. Hash tag petro masculinity. What so People went after him Hard. What was the word you you had Troma ask Yah Lin itty. So it's it's his new brand new made up word to describe when guys get like gigantic trucks that they don't need. It's an example of petro masculinity, and it's there. There clearly there they aren't They are secure in their own masculinity, so they have to get like a big giant truck. That's dangerous, and it just assumes. You should assume that they want to be violent and dominating. This is not a word I've missed. This is one He just apparently made up. I think so. It's the first time I've heard it so hard to keep track of everything, but well, you're gonna have to start taking notes. Okay, Because Petra masculinity is a thing now and everybody needs to know about it. All right in the next segment. I know you've got a rant coming. On. So we're gonna talk about your rant, and we're also going to talk a little bit more about these partners that might be coming out of Trump, so stay tuned. "Exactly, but he'll he'll come back, and I believe it will be one more year and and Hill may even look at himself and go. All right. It's time to go. Um, I think Philip Rivers he's not with Indianapolis. I believe he's trying to get on with someone else. Um, Reese. I think the engine I think he is how he was hurt more than that on and you look at your like I'm 43 years old. I really want to do this again, like that's a big time injury that he had because he's got his kids there. He coaches his kids. I mean, he does all that stuff. Hey, Tom Brady, but it but it was great picture. I know if you saw the video after him on the field trauma, Brady throwing touchdown passenger breeze, Kid, Yeah, I mean, that's I mean, so if you drew Brees, you look at it and you go. That was a big time injury that could have been a lot worse. Do I really wanna do this again? And what about Brady? I am Brady comes back. So basically everyone's talking about the four quarterbacks who may not be back and three and four are coming back. I think through the four came back. The only reason Philip Rivers doesn't come back as if no one in the NFL wants something. I mean, two of the four now. I mean, if I'm big C I don't think any of them should come back. What if any, One of them has an argument, too? I think it's Tom Brady. I don't think the other three should be back. And I think Ben will come back just because of the way it ended. And if I'm breeze if I'm breeze, I'm coming back. I'm not leaving like that. I mean, there's no way I'm leaving like that. I'm coming back. The only way Brady doesn't come back in the box somehow win the Super Bowl. Yeah, I believe that. Well, I mean, I mean, is he then if you're going well, don't you have to come back to defend it? I mean, some some guys just like, have that competitive like me like I just like I played in softball leagues and basketball leagues and football flag football leagues? No, I was playing semipro football like and I shouldn't have been doing it. And then it was one of those where I heard I tore my hamstring and I thought to myself. What am I doing? I gotta go to work tomorrow. Yeah, but I don't want to see any of these guys. And I hate to use this guy's an example. But end up like Brett Farve who went from in my mind and all time. Great to a gun for hire. Who is just Yeah, I mean, it's e mean you don't want Philip Rivers is becoming now if he goes from from one year to the Colts for one year, somewhere else. I mean, and I think That'll be the end of it For if he goes to another team, I mean, and Philip Rivers showed he doesn't have the arm anymore either allow. I mean, he already wasn't mobile. Hey, was already a statue. And now what is the more of us that you were growing roots in the big time? Stature, But I don't even know where Philip Rivers could land becomes a liability. Anywhere he goes, He ends up with Washington football team. I mean, that's probably the only one. I mean, Cam's gonna be out there for prayer was gonna be out there and better be retired to buy the Bridgewater is going to be out there. Which water? Still something left. Cam got nothing left. I mean, it Z gonna be want Stafford's gonna be out there. Um God, there's gonna be a market for Philip Rivers. I just don't know where so so going back to the games. Obviously like we said Packers, destroying the Rams second game on Saturday was my bills and the Ravens, and I'll be honest going into the game. I was scared to death. Because the one thing the Ravens do really well was one thing. The bills don't do. Well, defensively that stopped the run. And the first driver, the Ravens, I was like, Okay, Here we go. That was first carry 11 yard, Secondary. Nine yards. Third carry eight years. And like, Oh, my God. This is just gonna be a beat down. And then all of a sudden I know what happened, but the bills got stout. Real quick. Yeah. You stack that boxing. Just shoot those gaps and you make you still Lamar Johnson. You have to throw the ball to beat me. And for the Ravens to be a good team. They need someone opposite Hollywood. Yeah, they need a number one. You have to go get a number one. I'm sorry, but it ain't Dez Bryant know me now, like Alan Robinson's gonna be available. You have to go get him. Whatever you have to do. You have to go get him a number one receiver. Yeah, guy that couldn't they can they can run in the slot. Or at least take that. Take the rag round so we could have Hollywood go. Do you need a guy that can run all the routes on the tree? Because Willie Snead he's not running all the routes on the truth Always needing that guy. No, I mean he can He be your third guy upside? Yeah. You have Mark Andrews, who's a nice little safety valve. But you definitely I mean, Alan Robinson gonna be available. You have to You have to go get him. Ravens defense better than the chief's defense. The Ravens defense has more playmakers in the chief's defense. They have more guys that can go get the ball and more guys that can The skies and do different things. Um The chief's defense on the back, and it's just kind of honey badger. That's it, And I got to tell you this, though going into Sunday's games. I applaud the Kony's on Andy Reid, man, like Was it? Bill Raftery, the onions, first plums. Everyone have a whole new respect Me and we'd have to stop that plane calling with Chad Henny in there that the third down run by Chad Henning, and you've got it as a defense in Cleveland..

"Thing I can think of that makes sense for the Seahawks wanted to talk to Adam Gates to be their offensive coordinator is they really want to scare Russell Wilson into saying, Hey, let us figure things out. And you be the quarterback because he wants to be involved in the O. C and hirings. Now, you know he's got equity in the team because he's been there for so long. Hey, you watch it or will hire Adam Gates. Because nothing. I mean, this guy presided over the worst offense in the NFL the last two years, And before that his office is terrible with the Miami Dolphins. He finished in the bottom Fourth of league said when he didn't have Peyton Manning. I mean, do you think Suddenly Adam Gates is gonna be this great offense? Of course, there's nobody beating down his door. And when I see his name being mentioned for Alabama's OC spot now here in in CIA satellite, are you kidding me? I mean, unless you're trolling Russell Wilson. You want him to not, you know, not sound off and and just worry about next season. I don't see it. I don't see there any reached and fly. Adam Gates should be the upsy for the Seahawks. Here's the ranks as off offensive coordinator and head coach for those that haven't done this math. 1st and 2nd with Denver 2013 2014 goes Chicago. They ranked 23rd, Miami head coach. Now, after that year in Chicago, they rank 17th, then 28th and 26, then 31st and 32nd in two years with the New York football jets. That's not good for anybody. No, no. Russell Wilson was very vocal when Schottenheimer got fired, Hey, was not happy about it Double down on it. You could see that He had a lot more He wanted to say, but decided to let that cook and marinate a little bit longer. E see what you did there, letting it cook. I like that. I'll give you that. They're like that on before anybody wants No, there's only 32 teams in the NFL. So it's not like he's 32 out of $64 only 32 teams in the NFL when you rank in the thirties. It's It's really It's just not just not good s O. This is what I don't understand. But hey, you know what? Good luck, Pete Carroll. Good luck. If you want to hire Adam gays, but clearly coming off this weekend, right? We had some really good football games. We had games that turned on on one play. But, boy, the more I I look back at what happened yesterday is how much I can't get over how much the Browns blue. That game against the Chiefs. It should be the Browns and the bills in the A F. C championship right now, and we should be playing all kinds of songs from the early 19 nineties. The last time the Browns and the Bills were both good at the same time, because you know when I When I watched this game unfold, and clearly it's it's from the perspective of okay. What happened when Patrick Mahomes got hurt? This should have been a game where the Browns run away with it, and they scored two or three touchdowns and they stopped the Chiefs from getting anywhere and the Browns win this football game. But there's so many things you're gonna look back at Look the Browns had they had the fumble. They had the drive. The first you could say is it's the pylon game. You know what? Restore all your pylon hero. I hear a baby. Go ahead. I couldn't get to Twitter fashion. I know today. I didn't think you'd feel it like you. You wish you had some thing attached to your head, or you could just think your tweets. The one thing I'm glad about Kevin's to fans, because boy he really cost him at the end of the game yesterday was that at least he had a rule in place about not diving for the pylon, because what I've said it for the longest time why you diving for the pylon unless it's third or fourth down. When you catch a pass for 25 yards, and you're inside the two yard line don't reach for the pylon. It's simple. Don't reach for all that can happen is that things go bad for you. Maybe you get in. But maybe you don't because you're trying to reach for the pilot when you don't have to, And if you fumble it, and the ball goes out of bounds. Guess what? It's a touchback. I know it's a crappy rule, but you can't change it because it's a fumble anywhere on the field Get well, It's not really a fumble when you're doing that. That's that's terrible. You know what? No, You can tell guys Don't fumble the ball. Don't reach for the pylon. That's how we stop this from happening. Right? This is not the NFL has to change this rule. It's a bad rule, although no, no, this is you cannot do that. And you can make sure that when this happens, you hold onto the football because the play that started all of this was the Dez Bryant catching the playoffs eight years ago, right? Tony Romo's pass on fourth down. And Why did Why was this an incomplete pass? Because Dez Bryant decided? No, it wasn't law. It wasn't good enough that he catches a 40 yard pass on fourth down and they got the ball on the Green Bay Packers one yard line. No, no, I gotta turn around and try to put this ball over the goal line, and that's why that catch didn't happen. That should have been the moment where everybody says Okay, You know what none of this unless you have to, but go back to that plane. It's still because guys wanna be pilot heroes, which is a great name for a band pilot and I would go and do it. Even though Higgins knew I shouldn't do it, because it's not 3rd and 4th down, and that is it very least a 10 point swing because that's a touchdown for the Browns. Most likely you're talking about inside the one yard line. And instead it's a turnover and the Chiefs get three points. And that was the big deal. The end of the half. I mean that I can't put on some fancy. That's gotta be where you just got to be smart on the field. You gotta know what you're doing. Yeah, we could save the 45 minute discussion. On the inevitable poll question about what you should do with that rule right? Because you have the if you kick the ball out of bounds on a kickoff, you know, you get the ball at the 40. You get penalized. They're here. You get a change of possession, but if I kick it out of the end zone, you started the one like there's just all sorts of things that we need to work out. But the bottom line is don't dive for the pylon. On and you saw that big plays just absolute daggers. We talked about it with Jason Locke and four when it came to what the Ravens had, but for the Browns they needed to stop. Against Chad Henny. Right. They needed to stop against the legs of Chad Henny on then, that fourth down play was a bigger genius, something evidently he liked out of the book that.

"Catch the NFL playoffs on Fox. You could also hear that game right here on most of these same Westwood one stations. Tyler Huntley is back out as the quarterback for the Ravens. Lamar Jackson, still in the locker room under concussion protocol. There's kind of start to dance a little bit here in Buffalo, aren't they? Yeah, this is the loud part of the stadium and remember a new quarterback means new cadence. So we thought the Ravens had some issues with the snap before. Going for having full stop, mate Seymour now Edwards in the backfield next to Huntley. He'll take the hand off. He runs right cuts left and gets a couple of yards up to the 13. He stood up Edmund's Harrison Phillips, Justin Zimmer. They were all there. You know you didn't believe me, Tom. When I told you before the season one sees I said Hey, Divisional round will be in Buffalo on Saturday night. It'll be Tyler Huntley. I hold down two touchdowns for the Ravens trying to bring him back. You would have been like Tyler, who Wait for the Utah Utes Lotto showing blitz. Huntley to throw rose to his left pass is complete to Steed, but he's short of the first down. Johnson makes the tackle after a gain of six yards. The bills could host a F C championship next week if the Browns beat the Kansas City Chiefs. Now that's a yeoman's task. Can you imagine if it was Brown's bills? I mean, that would be inconceivable. Yeah, they're doubted to Huntley taps. His foot takes the snap pistol formation handsome Toh Edwards at Edwards first over his left guard and gets across the 25 to the 27 yard line. Bye. Wallace makes the tackle. That's a good game. As the clock winds 7 40 County to play fourth quarter Bills fans 6700 strong, They sound like 67,000 low snap. Huntley handles it throws to the right and it's nearly intercepted. Davis White stepped in front of Mark Andrews. Matt Mlada was there is well, that could have been a second pick six. You know, Ravens have had snap issues all year with both centers, Mascara and Patrick McCarter. It's mean It cost him that regular season game against the page rights, and it's going a long way towards costing him this game to second out of 10. Huntley takes the snap chest high drops back to pass its tip, and it's caught by Sneed at the 30 yard line. The market actually at the 29. Johnson was it on the coverage and made the tackle public. Huntley is fortunate that that ball wasn't deflected picked off 30 long now. This is where the Ravens offensive line struggles. They're built to run the ball. They're not built for obvious passing down. You got a rookie quarterback looking at his wristband right now, I would imagine the bills for about heat this young man up. Her down today. As Bryant stretched up to the far side up, Lee out of the gun pressure's coming. Here comes the blitz suddenly drops back to pass. He throws to his left passes in complete over the head of Dez Bryant, who wanted pass interference. Levi a. Wallace was it on the coverage. By the way, we've just been told Mark Jackson is been ruled out of this game with a concussion. So if they are to come back, and they're gonna go for it here on fourth and eight down, 17 3. 6 42 to play in the fourth quarter. If they're going to come back, they're gonna come back with a rookie undrafted free agent Tyler Huntley out of Utah. By the way, I think Dez Bryant had a good case. I do, too. I think Levi Walsh was hanging on him, but they should go to Palin flat Justice Hill in the game in the backfield Bills showing blitz again. Off the play. Fake drops back to pass throws to the near side has grounded the overthrow of Brown was open by about three or four strides again. He was with the wind. It went over his head by about three or four yards, and we've seen it on both ends tonight and the bills will take over on downs. I cannot believe that the Buffalo bills Allowed Hollywood Brown to get seven yards behind them. That should have been a touchdown. Holy cow 6 36 to play in the fourth quarter. The Bill 17 Ravens three. You're listening to the NFL playoffs on Westwood one. You ever feel like you're great stuff is going.

I mean, that's that's pretty good. But that's the problem dry. Problem with baseball. You're going to pay a guy standing Gundy said this yesterday, you're going to pay three hundred and fifty million dollars who comes up four to five times a game. It's ridiculous. And when he comes off you bats to forty eight it's absurd absurd. Absurd. I listen. I agree with you. And yet he's going to get it from somebody. As is Scott Boris, his agent says Harper's bazaar is now open. Okay. We'll see where that goes. All right. Let's go to college. Let's start in basketball for Zion. Williamson RJ Barrick camera Duke. Did it Kentucky? I have said Stuart's gonna make people pay attention to college basketball before we normally do which is after the Super Bowl. Yeah. It made us. I mean, listen, we've never talked about college basketball so early in the season ever in the history of our show, and we were talking about it yesterday because Duke stole the show they stole the sports worlds. I am Williamson. The thing about Zion. Williamson guys he was a YouTube sensation before this. So everyone knew about this. But to see play out against Kentucky article and to see that he's just not a dunker. He's the guy who has actual game. He has range. He has touched. He could distribute the ball. It is it is absolutely breathtaking. It was amazing to watch. And. Yeah, we're all going to tune into watch. These freshmen bly and watched it fifteen play at see if maybe if they can go undefeated. Maybe it'll be the best team ever, which is saying something when you consider the school. We're talking about it was amazing. It was fun to watch. They had made college basketball interesting in a way that it hasn't been the regular season for college basketball in a way that it hasn't been since maybe the fab five I don't know what the last time we were interested in a college basketball team. Yeah. Your rights. Do we we had this note today dukes go to one hundred and eighteen points in that debut? There were twenty NBA teams in action last night and they play eight minutes longer. None of them got one hundred. Yeah. Utah Utah was a crisis. They got one hundred seven Stu, and by the way, they did it against Kentucky, by the way. Kentucky. Jank John Calipari was sitting there with his laws look on his face. And I can't believe that coach K is now doing what I've been doing for years because coach guys going to do it better than I've been doing the thirty four point loss for Calipari. His worst ever as a college or NBA coach going to college football the first two weeks of the rankings. We have pretty much pick who they were going to be where do you see the possibility of a shakeup happening going in the next few weeks? Well, Mike, this is interesting. Right. And I have a question for you guys are related to college football. But this is interesting. So let's say Georgia beats Alabama in the SEC championship game. There's no scenario which Alabama is not getting it. But what happens there? So does Michigan get bounced out? Once Notre Dame get bounced out, Mike, I would ask you this because they put this committee together to have some sort of vision. Where does this not the four undefeated teams make it to the final four, Mike? Michigan played Notre Dame right now the debt are they neutral field who do you think would win that game? Who was the better to there is no way. Saying michigan. Everybody's saying Michigan would blow out Notre Dame Michigan has gotten better. So is Notre Dame? You realize Notre Dame did since that first game. They have a quarterback who leads the nation in completion percentage. Okay. So yeah, he's heard he's going to miss this game. We'll be back next week. So to say that all of a sudden Michigan with blowout. Notre Dame to me is ridiculous has Michigan gotten better. Absolutely. They've gotten better. But you asked me I've already said if Georgia beats Alabama they're both in Clemson wins out there in and if Notre Dame wins out there in and Michigan is going to get left out. Now, Paul finebaum went the other way. He thinks Michigan may get in over. Notre an undefeated Notre Dame team. I don't think that would happen. But then again, I'm not one of the thirteen that are that are picking that are deciding this.
