"Going to get to the North Carolina game. I'm still in October. Yeah, no. It's an incredible season. An early proud of our guys. And we were able to sustain and get better, even with some injuries, you know, on defense, we finished in the top in the league with 7 starters out, and all those kids are back now, but yeah, it's been a process. You know, when I first got in the league, we couldn't beat anybody. And at that time, Louisville was really good forward to state was at their peak with Jimbo and in dabo did a great job building Clemson up and went on those championships and for us to be able to knock them off in a double overtime win was pretty special. Yeah, and I remember watching it and naturally it was rooting for NC state I have a close friend who's a big fan of yours that I mentioned to you and when you're watching your team and you did it later in the year as well, seemingly have the game one and then the insides of a coach must I would like to see it. I can't read x-rays, but I would have loved to see what was going on. That had to be tough. Yeah, when we missed the field goal, it was, you know? And it couldn't be in a better situation. And I tell you, I put everything in the world on Chris done our kicker. I hope he gets another opportunity like that because I know he'll come through for us, but the insides were not feeling good at that time. But you know, you got to be the pulse of your team. And so I couldn't have that on the outside. You know, I had to turn around. Guys, we're going to win this game. Let's go, get your minds right. Got into double OT and found a way to do it. Devin Leary and Devin Carter on a great throw and catch. Now if I remember correctly, it was the inverse of that against North Carolina. You guys were done. Yeah, I mean, we had a 0.1 chance of winning the game, so we had a chance, you know? But yeah, Devin and emeka is too touchdowns in 28, 26 seconds. Pretty amazing. Chris Dunn with the onside kick recovery, you know, to get us the possession. When something like that happens, I mean, I'm sure you do some soul searching, you're thinking, I must be doing something better than I was doing in the past. Yeah, I told the team, our will to win is so strong and I think the chemistry of your team is built on love and relationships and we had a really close net group. And I think that's why we won those games. These kids have really invested in each other. Coach, I would like to talk about some of the issues that everyone is facing and had a lot of coaches that have been through here in the last two days and they're all in different places when it comes to the portal. NIL. Some embrace it some privately just are spitting bullets, including a man that was in here yesterday from your league. But how are you approaching what is now on the tips of every tongue in college football? Yeah, well, two different topics, but they're tied together, you know? And I think the portal, I think we're just looking for windows of time that make that a little bit better for us. Roster management wise as coaches. I don't think it's a bad thing, you know, for players to be able to leave if they're not happy where they're at. We just, when you have a scholarship cap like we do, I would like to have a couple whatever it is a month at the end of the season a month after spring ball. And outside of that, let us have our roster the way they are, you know? The NIL piece for the players on our campus that are performing well and doing great in the classroom and earning the university money for them to be able to make money off their name image and likeness. I have zero problem with that. I think it's great for them. Professionally. I don't like how it's being used in recruiting. That's where I'm struggling with it. And so we'll just have to see how it goes, you know? It was a university we're putting together a collective right now to be a part of that conversation. It's called the pack of wolves and excited to see how that helps us as a program. But there's a lot of things that need to be done on this to make it have some guardrails, I think, you know. But the part of it, I think that frustrates so many people in the industry is that the organization that is supposed to be guarding it is almost out of business. So how do you put I'm not asking you, but I'm asking you in general, you're a football coach. But how do you put guardrails up when nobody's enforcing the rules as it is? Yeah, it's a great question. You know, I think definitely big things need to happen. Whether that's a commissioner that oversees the power 5, which, to me, makes a lot of sense because we have issues that are different than the non power 5 schools, financially. I think that would be a great change. Whether it's the president or the NCA and then there's a commissioner for power 5, a commissioner for non power 5, a commissioner for division two, FCS, and so on. Where things can get done that fit those places financially. That to me would be a great start. And I know they're already looking at the governance, but we're currently working in a system of rules that don't fit what's happening on the sport and it's very challenging. And I always wonder, I think you're on to something in terms of somebody running the power of 5, but how do you find someone that everyone will agree? Agree on. I think is the issue. And I think it has to happen. Yeah, I think there's people out there though, you know, I think it's more along the lines of who would want the job, you know? I know if you get to ADs together like we do as coaches at times, you can sense their frustration too, because you'll have a 100% ACC coaches, we want this done, give it to our ADs, they back us a 100%, and then it dies on the vine, because somebody at a one double-A school doesn't financially, it doesn't make sense for their university. And so, and that's what they should be saying for their university. But they need to break them apart so that we can all do what's best for our schools at our levels. Before you go, I want to talk about you for a second because you mentioned it was a big tough beginning, the school had perseverance. They stayed with you. And then when things started going well, your name became a hot commodity. We reported on this program, Tennessee was after other schools were, how do you finally decide, okay, the school took a chance on me. We had tough times. Things are going great now. I stay here or do it a lot of coaches and bail. Yeah, you know, I think it's a tough, tough situation. You know, what are you done for me lately in this sport is really a big deal. We love where we're at, first of all. My sons love the schools they're at. Sarah and I really enjoy living in Raleigh. And it's a place we could see ourselves the rest of our lives. So to leave here, it has to be the right fit. And I feel like I have unfinished business here, you know? And I want to finish what I started. That's a big part of who I am. And I like these players that I have, like, the parents in my players, you know? So I'm at home and this is the longest I've ever lived anywhere. So literally I can call this my home now because in these fans of back to me through some tough times, our athletic director has backed me through a tough season. So there's that back and forth loyalty that's built. Coach, thank you for making time for such a pleasure to have you on. Pleasure to be on your show. Thanks so much. You bet. Coach day door in the head coach of the wolfpack and we are done with the first hour we're live in Las Vegas. We're coming back..

"Hey you gotta stay right this demand and they're in their devin. Carter is over here saying you're dropping too many gems and jewels for them bro. Oh continued that. Yes out the day of shot out to my cousin kia ryan. Thank you off tune in indefinitely definitely go back and watch the replay if you missed any of the jews that Dixon is dropping a john dixon for those that don't know him he's an actor influence there on definitely a a man as doing some great things not just here in atlanta but all the way across the globe are following his career. Long with you all of you should follow him if you don't know of him After today you definitely want to remember his face name. He's about to be taken hollywood by storm. And that's what i was gonna ask to dix just as we continue to wind down unquote we only have you for a short amount of time like talk about when you get onset even for like commercials Any type of product projects that you've worked on talk about like the length of time that you basically have to put in just in order to get that paycheck because even people like myself that see the final product of the commercials the movies. The television shows We just don't get to see you all onset unless somebody's streaming live on their social media platforms but talk about like the time in dedication that you have to put on set in also that process absolately A lot of time a lot of time and we have a saying in the movie business. And i'm sure everyone sooted. There's a lotta hurry up. Wait right a majority of when you're actually onset is if you're an actor standpoint or position is you're waiting for them to set up the camera. That's a lot of time so bring books every all my comic books but when you get on there and a lot of the thing is is that with these people. Don't know some of these. You know even bigger network shows not paying like a lot. I mean less it. Sag if it sag after then you're getting actual good money and you're getting residuals but Work that goes into like a lot of the shows that i do that film up in knoxville or that film down in miami and stuff for the louisiana. I don't get paid for travel a lot of the places. Sometimes they'll pay for know a a hotel or something like that but a lot of it is the time of traveling right. So if i'm getting off of set let's say one time i got off of set and i got a call Knoxville tennessee and i got a call back. And i had to be all the way down in louisiana the next day while the wound you know i drove. That's ten hours right there. You know what i mean. It's just a lot of time that goes into it. But i will say when there's that thirty to forty seconds maybe even two minutes of work when you're actually working in the cameras on in your in it in your feeling it and you're feeling the scene in your in your film the situation you know what i mean. It makes everything worker. Everything worth in even better is when you actually make it on the editing like you make it in the movie or you make it in the tv show or your.

"Basically being named as the most diverse amid in appears as we stepped back assay in a sense of how we are looking at maybe representation of the most marginalized of the people of color. Some of the things that we have a off for the issues and things that we are all or the threats against some of those things in some haven't been named in public. But like i say in my raina is a lot of concern for for the state of say our future and for particularly starting not a year with the situation that happened with devin carter Events still some of the things that showed we're dealing with when it comes to our law enforcement agencies in basically the thought of who's important usceo humanity itself whose human who deserves the disparities that kobe has basically lifted up as risk communities are acted that has been things that have been here that we known about the pandemic. I said we have to pandemic. pandemic has just basically escalated Lightened as to the pandemic that really exists in the disparity we have between our counties in so many different breaches that need to be repaired. And so for me. I believe that you know. There's a lot of work to be done. A lot of accountability in different areas. That we have our elected officials but we have work to do. I'm very concerned at the state. Hope who a. plus b. there. Because i look at little stories little testimonies of community members who are doing well as vita who are making it because of their endurance because we have some strong people community we have. Some billion people have community. We ask entrepreneurs and so five it all especially for people in that community as we've learned how to make it in the midst of struggle. We learned how to turn our pain into purpose in making our passionate and make it our life's mission in so this is nothing new to us but as i am concerned i don't feel really step worth so much as i'm really concerned about how far we back. Thank you and. I really deeply appreciate how you're able to pull together. So many current events the values that bind us together the community and to account around howard defending some of those values in in a city that is the most diverse in america. Right councilmember warms xlear or or council number aerial. Do you have anything to add to that. The only thing that. I really want to amplify especially i would not be a licensed social worker. Don't talk about this jamais. Hit something that really resonated with me. And that is the subject area of our emotional wellness and health as we're talking about the loss of lives as we're talking about being able to maneuver the digital divide when we're talking about marginalized communities when we're talking about families who are struggling every day for shelter for food for access. I live in a food desert..

"You urge your players to become part of a union when you decide that instead of you know having sort of a bubble that excludes people that you want people to not only become involved in your union become reps in your union to take leadership roles in your union how could you ever then take a position where you have some sort of adverse feeling about if they express their feelings right listen I I hundred percent agree what I want to hear the from people I hope they're doing something I'm not they don't have to do it on Twitter right when you just see them say I'm saying no on Twitter like marquise Pouncey did or JJ watched it I am hoping that they have spoken they have let their feelings be known on what they would like to see different yeah you know don't you stand up and yell no give give us a give us something more you why no is it the seventeen games why if we're gonna take seventeen games how much would you take in return what should we say if we have to sit for what you we sit for where should you know what are your thoughts on how far we need to take this if we don't get what we want so you know there you you need to get some solutions not just pound your fist on the on the table and say no when you have a phone and you have an ability to talk to these guys all you want through this whole process that's been going on for ten months or so and everybody can do that that's the beauty of this thing you don't have to be a player rap or on the executive committee you can have a voice in the US and be heard if you choose to be right and understand the real numbers okay because you see the Aaron Rodgers contracts in the J. J. watt contracts in the Richard Sherman Russell Wilson what kind of stuff those are so far the outline roughly these these numbers are you know estimated guesstimate a little bit but eleven hundred players in the NFL are the minimum that's about sixty percent right sixty percent so for the sixty percent of these guys that are on the minimum side of this these are potentially large increases are a minimum salary player under this new CBA I think the numbers go from just under five to almost seven hundred thousand dollars yeah and that's going to be a very difficult thing for a lot of these players to walk when they know they may have the average time again is between a hundred years yeah you bet let's all look at this as a cash grab yeah exactly right and I understand that that what will the market the marquee players are always going to get their money yeah that's never going to change all the NFL people there SO PH job is to do the most for the most part and that's why they feel pretty good about this deal because it sees a dramatic increase for a majority of the players right and some of the other players feel that they should hold out for more which I get sure I mean there is no deal that's ever made were both cited so yeah we got everything we wanted so could you hold out for more yes you could but would be worth it in the long run that you start having to weigh as far as who has the most leverage when you went when push really comes to shove but as you mentioned we started hearing from the big money guys now we're starting to get a little bit of from the other guys and we're gonna read some tweets are and when you hear a sixty five percent in the one of the sources agree that that is the number that was put on the amount of guys making minimum in the so you just you can in your head so when you hear that number that that's that that's what people are talking about excellent so so we get we had some of these big players out whether marquees pounce on Instagram and other ones on on Twitter RG three who by the way was the number two overall pick in twenty twelve right he's not making that monster money now is making about two million but he made a ton of money yeah early on it according to roster management she's made thirty three point two million in cash over his career and then of course the endorsements okay and all that kind of stuff so but the point is he's he's done fine for myself he put something out there on Twitter and said if we hold out and say no now until we get a better all around deal to protect our health and safety that's sixty five percent which is that minimum talking about gets even more pay more benefits and we all get better working conditions well this is a back and forth with Nick Sundberg right who would have been one of those minimum guys because a lot of you are saying who's next on the long snapper for the Washington Redskins one of the minimum guy and he writes back to RG three on Twitter that's funny bro we are part of a union we have to make hard decisions for the majority of our members sixty five percent plus our minimum contract guys everyone of those guys gets paid more better benefits and better working conditions and then RG three responded the reality is we have to decide whether to accept the CBA that is better than the previous one but not what we have worked for a representative of the sacrifices our fellow players make every time they buckle up their chin straps to which by Nick Sundberg responds but that's a worst case scenario which we ought to think about I'm not coming at this from a place of fear I'm looking at it as a place called reality fans aren't fans of us they fans of teams players gonna go coming coming go they'll watch and gamble on anything and this went on and on balance between these two and that's where I think the crux of this thing is going to fall down to because we're starting it we had Devin Carter somewhere in the middle yes yesterday at half million yeah outside linebacker for the lines basically saying because of all the other guys in my walk from the don't make what I make in this is a better deal for that look you could certainly taken farther down the road because you don't have to do anything you don't have to again this could go another thirteen months with nothing happening but after that thirteen months what happens then you're gonna have a new NFLPA president that we talked about yesterday because they're going to do is no longer an active player so there's gonna be a new president and does this whole thing start over this is a deal where pay goes up benefits go up things go up and they they get more protection in the offseason but there are some players and that's fine who think we could get more that's all thing here there are some players who look at and say this is enough to satisfy me there are some players and say okay it's a little bit better but we can hold out for more and then it comes down to what's the line of demarcation what's holding out for more what does that entail and does that entail me missing paychecks yeah who the Richard guys can afford to do a little more than the guys who aren't making that money and that's what those guys start to think about they say you know what if I can play this game for a couple years a few years I can make from what I'm making now to this new deal another four to five hundred thousand dollars before I know my end game is there now a lot of players even though in the back bottom part of the roster think they have the ability to play in the league and Stanley but they also in the back of their head no there is the reality that they may not so they're going to say this looks pretty good I can make more money the benefits are going to be better if I retired I'm vested I'm gonna give you up more help there as well where the older guys are the guys that are make the more money the guys that are going to saying that's all true but we can get more let's hold on let's wait and trying to get more thank you that's fine yes yes it it it but if you say you wanna hold and try and get more you have to understand the possibility that you might get less so you might get last the whole deal might get blown up you may be starting from scratch and then you may be standing outside as you're being locked out yeah again and it could be a long time all else continue to say this NFL players get paid during the season so their season is over in January for the most part they're done getting paid so if a lockout happen it would happen the Aussies repairs are getting paid anyway so they could literally go another fifteen months sixteen months right get their actual salary that we get from this year and in the in the off season when they're not getting paid anyway while the new deal is getting done if they wanted to wait but you are without question rolling the dice on all the other parameters of the saying if you do that yeah it again and we we we went through this yesterday this is not something that just came up this bill is going to go shoot for ten months so when you hear some players say why we rushing this has not really rushed this is been something that the the people you elected to do the job for you to do this have been working tirelessly on in that part needs to be understood and if you feel like it's being rushed I kind of feel like you have been taking part in the process if you say it's been rushed and you haven't you haven't because this hasn't been rushed by any stretch of the imagination and I can honestly say I can see both sides the guys who are making minimum or saying you know what it's a pretty good deal I'm get more money I'm grabbing this thing and I can see guys who have been around for a while geyser stabbed Lee guys who have made a lot of money is being a little more emboldened saying you know what I have a little more cachet I've a little more confidence that we can do better and I'm sitting on a little more money that can help me do that if need be so they're saying let's try to get a little more I can understand the thought process of both sides but the majority is going to be made up of the lesser paid side yeah so that's why I think this thing is going to pass and again they only need one more positive both the negative right it's a simple majority and that process is beginning as the NFLPA is putting the proposal into sort of a legal document and they'll be disseminated everybody and they'll have the votes electronically goal doing it was presented by progressive insurance making it easy to bundle your home and car insurance.

"Some of the crazy things happen in the world of college football if your will factor into thinking well if we can force some turnovers if we can make a play early if we can do something crazy to get close enough schedule what is the worst case scenario was born well the thing we talked about with clubs and I had this funny feeling that they were gonna come out and play like they are playing and if you want to keep up they were going to have to have some things happen for them and stop closer as opposed to close and stopping yourself it is the rare week where an undefeated Clemson team that's won twenty four straight games they can play that underdog car they could say Hey we we got a little just respect this week their hours for the home is a hundred and twenty one the seven in the first the same will catch this kick off at about the for not for the fifteen twenty took a hit of the twenties and able to fight for it for a few extra yards to the twenty four but even that of all that we will finish to your shop where he would have been able to just throw up his right hand to make the fair can you've been around football and a lot of sports things are changing you get a moment of you've got to figure out a way to not look at the scoreboard and just say okay what are we going to do here how are we going to get some positive things happening to get back in the small Devin Leri just one of two through the air at a quick little five yard pass might be forced to go to the air something that is the staple preferring not to master this online is a chance to get a lot over the thirty there is a late after the catch was made by Devin Carter on the quick screen to the near sideline this might go back holding office number six and to line the tight end for the infraction former tied in with him I did them selves not happy with that one but you finally get something positive just rolls right away from this that was a nice play by Devin Carter he was really looking like he's moving forward and all of a sudden six or right now the card or involved in a hundred forty receiving yards against Boston College that dated and twelve now back to the twenty two after the hand off with a big play the Chester there's not a lot of for the thirty thirty five territory forty five the way to the thirty two in the flood way back in the thirty nine yard line that is first chance to carry the football it could very well be coming back this was seen as a wide receiver making the holder and it looked like he had a say a Simmons possibly wrapped up or was that the camera can record well he had a blocked and all the other news let him go together my block and once you start to disengage let him go and he doesn't do it soon enough and that negates a huge play we went from first to twelve the first in five is likely out of their own and so is the staple classes hands the sap is off to his right there was the twenty one never seen one you don't get the ball of your money back and the next one is going back to let the ball go with it comes out he goes to pro football and he just I have seen it happen but not this many mistakes back to back to back no contact no threat it's just the ball comes out and that's what you all night and I'm sure he knows he has to hold on to the football everything that can go wrong is going wrong statements was still up to twenty five to go on this opening quarter here in Raleigh it is twenty one to nothing constant and the tiger seventh and the twenty one of NC state the end back in the game of fifty two yeah the twenty five he's gonna pull one behind the lord support have a look at the nineteen yard line backwards pass that bounced lords and it was still able to get some you know yeah I don't like that at all at this point just play street football because you put your quarterback in harm's way unfortunately for him he's able to make a dive Mrs athletic enough tenor eagles right there on the spot but couldn't talk long and he's able to get some yards but you put them in harm's way when you turn on some ways yard rushing one forty three to go for a school to close it is three receivers to the right that is the wide side one struck his wife except this that gives it a draw the media heading off to the fifteenth December tenth nineteen yard touchdown this is forty nine sold me the big plays but the thing that he does so much better now is one three one or two different guys an arm tackle in the thing is it's the state plan a lot of free men and they're trying to bring safeties down but if you don't come down to fill those wrongly properly he's going to kill think about the all time touchdown rushers in the ACC James Connor for pit road for fifty four more Jackson have fifty two point five from father his school to read to you in a forty nine with plenty of time left this is an I need to just three points the pass CJ Spiller as the highest scoring non kicker in Clemson history check mark twenty two yards to pass biller for third on Clemson's all time rushing list and forty nine rushing touchdown for he is going to be a guy that's going to play on Sunday yes too much being and all the things you want in a running back he had his our now is one thing though when I watch him on tape I'm just amazed that watching how he's grown up because I saw him a couple of years ago when Mr to speak this team in the dome watching him now is a big difference the reason why he couldn't play consistently because he couldn't pass protect you can do that now that's the job market it also gets the ball out of the backfield check mark put big claims of explosion he's the guy and if you're in the fall guy and you see this consistently you want him on the accelerator mission running to arm tackles he said that the second level and speed when he gets the whole Marshall Faulk the first day he came out the practice of the hold now for two weeks he got on the field he where mommy look I was like okay that's a different that's a different job on the bottom and that's what's up with the idea can be I'm not allowed to but there is another kick off from pottery flow city hammers a low line drive to the spin and back to the end zone so NC state has a total of eight yards in this first quarter and they're drilling twenty eight enough well again I'll say this your team was fought but you cannot hurt yourself and that's what they've done I've never seen a football three guys on the same team entered all one play there are you know hopefully all those guys to come back as I see them back on the field but the one thing you have to do is you gotta have some positive momentum in this this is a team of not had any none other than that big run by night to stay in the game that was called back at night the calling dance dance to the right takes a handoff ones not block this in front of them wait for a little bit of a push of the thirty in fall forward to about the thirty once or six yard gain but to take it when he finally gave guards all night yeah you got to have something happening and I would say if they don't score here you start thinking about going to another quarterback just some kind of spark seven yard gain so second seven far hash thirty two your like quick snap it again tonight this time he starts right ran into a wall of Clemson tacklers many is dropped almost immediately miles one of the trio of Tigers there will be thirty three sold with the different things you see what this is you fill that form but if you're wanting to say okay we got the bill we do once in the shift late they give some different looks in this freshman quarterback two receivers each other the football field together class of one class of voice hears the selfies turning right just past please since jumped on it again hoping that was a the past was just wanted backwards it may have been Justin for there is a slowdown knocks it down and then tries to go get it Texas a fumble with this thing turn over a create negative plays basketball for different things like that and I think this defensive line think about all the guys that they've had gone on to the next level and they just keep getting better I know you're really concerned a frequency state Laurie Rogers might just take this policy this football the thirty seven the thirty five was the line again the NC state crowd as loud as the and the key miscommunication the first the first first down the state compared to eleven for excellence in and it came on all sides by the defense of the nation a first down so you know they're going to get better so far this is no cost down something to write down first quarter nine things went well one thing when for the deal put three or four more just to keep in mind clearly in the pistol look here's the stuff in a spin Lurie rolling right being chased tries to drop down and was almost immediately at the line in game five nine he took a tremendous it by James also be with such ferocity in a physical list of all matches will be hard be honest with the NC state distance to wanna play and get to the end of this quarter stopping the clock with a pass play they need if nothing else just switch sides because it's twenty eight nothing slips and everything is going well for the time with just need to find one thing on the ground and get it means NC state second and ten from their thirty seven a lot of leaks fifteen the Titans looks out to the right two is run rolling steps up hold on to the policy slipped in fortune drops Mendis pursued again by Clemson George Williams the plan they're back ups on the defensive line and they're costly camp yeah they just played a lot of different guys and then when they come in they want to be there get nasty be careful goes inside like that you can get the tablets that brings us to the end of a busy first quarter for the Clemson Tigers twenty eight nothing Tigers we'll be back after these local messages on the touchdown.

football nineteen yard thirty nine yard twenty two yards eight yards seven yard five yard two weeks six yard

"Hockey but a very strong monkeys except I had a nice last night that worked out really well my favorite as well yeah I know that to my without creating Chris win was on that I all your nose at sea when was on it you knew you could refer to take it up right there there's just over forty two they were up and they lose five four in overtime to the habs Montreal Canadian I get it I started taking the ins wife naked all right real quick rich badging one time will give the Philly Toyota town scoreboard that's one twenty three over the rockets one sixteen at home box plot the magic in Orlando one twenty three to ninety one Pacers JT said one oh two ninety five knock off the cabs at all Celtics nip the next one oh four one oh two about the Knicks plus eleven and a half closing number eight nine to the money went the right way their bowls one twelve one of six a knock off the pistons at home in the windy city right now Lakers up to they were down twelve early in the game against Dallas third quarter five eighteen to go seventy to sixty Lakers lead the mavs in big D. at the half kings fifty one forty eight up on top of the jazz looking for their first win for Luke warm there one five out of the gate and the spurs lead the warriors thirty nine thirty three of course Steph curry out for about three months now with a broken hand spurs up by six eight oh forty go in the NHL three games going right now Dallas two to one doubling up on Colorado thirteen fifty to go avalanche up to that really solid store but struggling a little bit of late Anaheim one nothing second period thirteen fifty four going at second daily Vancouver at home and went back on the road at the shark tank with a fifty seven go first period also one nothing lead over San Jose finals we talked a Philly shoot out getting past Jersey forty three Washington at all no problem with buffalo six to one the route the Sabres islanders daycare business over the Tampa Bay Lightning who look like a shell of himself from last year's regular season team thirty five to to the islanders get the win at home Carolina football score over Detroit seven to three and forty three Saint Louis and T. get to win the defending Stanley Cup champions knocking off the Columbus blue jackets and without further ado or with for we're gonna get into these games but you know what it just occurred to me that we still have our fro our folks here a lot of them you know snowbirds it make it down here how about those fans in here yesterday as he does much of Canadians they always bring a nice little contingency and we do have Montreal was in action at auto forty two to thirty two hello it's good to win I don't know if it's the L. what's still but Ottawa they get that went out on a wet and they were minus seven so they cover that may also cover the second half as well nice effort there by Montreal so got to get all the scores in all right guys will go on forty four games last week we had fifty four so we're gonna make it no problem NC state we'll take on Wake Forest that one right now we forced at home in Winston Salem on the seven and a half total of sixty and a half given the real get the start again for NC state last week cooking are two weeks ago put up with Devin Carter six receptions under forty yards they're they're Thomas also out a couple touchdown receptions BC the rush for four hundred twenty nine yards one that wolf pack defense Jamie knew would still listed as questionable as we saw the look for Saige runs got to Washington to outstanding receivers allow Carlos fashion five and a half sacks start with Brad in this one seven and a half you're not sold on this way for Steve no I'm not a it's a way for seem that's warm warning games decided by six points or last you know Jamie Newman you mention it still questionable form here the NC state's gonna make a quarterback chains are going to go with a quarterback Devin Larry at quarterback for them I'm I'm a take a walk back here plus seven half the Eileen insisted you Katie all right so on Tuesday for both the guys I'm not going to lean on the pack will wait to see how that pans out there with doors squad right now catching seven and a half you give up for twenty nine yards to BC I'm kind of leery of of taken well sense the state liberty one against them last week actually had records on the money line how cool is that records winning at forty four thirty four call a Calvert due to an okay job Joshua mac actually had a hundred nine yards two touchdowns on the ground but records really clamp down got the lead never look back the only planet once in that game four hundred sixty three told a yard for records that scares me with liberty but they are playing you mass of mass not their only win at home by eight points over Akron will get to them a little bit later right now liberty lane twenty three and a half it's up two point sixty nine and a half the total brought yeah a lot of points I mean it's the most points liberties ever laid against an FCS opponent and we can treat Massachusetts as a like in FBS opponent I never had a team are rated lower than UMass ever and I mean no power ratings now for ten plus years with that being said the the the year this is in cheaper for looking back liberty actually knew Maslen and let me ask you some because we we talked about this last week because you mass at home be Akron by a point so how close is Akron to UMass power ratings like three four points given mine Akron was laying eight on the road in a game so they tighten up a little bit but I've still have Akron the better team for me it's it's liberty or nothing you mask gives up six and six point six yards a carry when they go to total about sixty touchdowns on the year they really can't play offense very well I free it's it's again it's liberty or no but there you go liberty or death for gene do you AT and fly you and if I you team with James Morgan at the helm that you know very consistent under Butch Davis not so last year but by Jones an actual on the ground twelve touchdowns Stourton four touchdown receptions but this do you off and so the old man you it is just so forced doesn't matter if it's smart who's got five rushing touchdowns the weaver actually has been quarterback because Yaqui showing strong also the receiver is really the only guy or or maybe on the ground that's that's been able to produce thought touchdowns six of eight games they have seventeen or less points goddess Old Dominion team is just not a team I want to back right now F. I. you though their lan a bundle seventeen and a half up from fifteen and a half do you does play good defense at times but I can only look at the boys at home the Panthers yeah this an Old Dominion team that I just read an article I think was earlier today they're down like twenty some scholarships other well under the eighty five scholarship limit at this point as far as how the players go I it's a little pricey now at this point within the all the money come and half I you just something for me yeah I lied under the skin Katie all right the total again is forty eight so JT leaning under as far as that goes Troy and coastal Carolina cable Barker and the Trojans on the road one point favorite sixty and a half against the show the colors corporate do doing a nice job quarterbacking for coastal Barker has some help he's got a clear McLean Kahler Geiger both these guys Kaelin Geiger they have ten touchdown receptions between the two of them Troy on the road one point favorite sixty and a half from coastal breath you know I think Troy's only favorite here because of past reputation I mean and they've been one of the flag bearers of the some of the last decade or so because Caroline is a relatively new statistically they're both about the same and both of played similar strength of schedule so close to coming off a bye I'm going with this Chanticleers there October skating total passed by the way we do have injuries that we'll get to just in case there are some guys that you're looking at it I do have the the main stores will do those according to how the times going.

"ESPN radio and the ESPN app Dory. Noko activated good to be here. Getting you through a little bit of the long awaited return of NBA regular season games after a all star break day too long. But that's just me. They wouldn't think who wouldn't think it's too long. Don, Nelson would not think it's it's too long. None of the hall of Famer the head coach of many many franchises was in Oakland last night. And he was being honored. Former warriors of the past cluding, Jason Richardson, Steven Jackson were there and done Nelson. Who you may remember as I would say maybe a bit of a fun loving head coach a lot of success and a lot of years coaching. Don, Nelson was asked before. Well, you'll hear the question. He's been busy. Let's say this. Let's catch up with Don Nelson Nellie is. He's better known on what he's been doing over the last few years. Really about what you've been doing after basketball coach.
