I'm going here. Usually gives me two or three. Different routes correct. Feels like. it's more that my right or my wrong. I don't mind be wrong. But i'm trying to really narrow down where you're feeling Like a like you're lost or stuck helped me understand that a little bit more. Let's go abc so corporate developments one. What's another one that you're thinking about the other. One i thought about isn't even relate to and in real estate something to do with in real estate Especially in the area. That i live in real. It's always doing so something everyone's interested in. Okay what what else is there. Another one real quick. Hit me with it Another one something in finance. I don't wanna be in accounting for the rest of my life. So that's something i want..

"A master of the screen screen. Those guys a little bit cause a little hesitation in their rush and I think you'll see the move if the pocket with Mahomes a little bit so make those guys run make those guys run and then the run game get that run game going on the perimeter make these tire these dudes out. Yeah that'd be the thing because he hasn't been a again has been committed to the running he doesn't have to. We're not saying that. He has to run at twenty five to thirty times. He asked to run it enough to just make them respect. They're so pat mahomes can't continue to it do is deal. But you're right. Silent sideline We've seen them used a screen game. We've seen them use a lot of those college concepts and college. They talk about making guys run laterally. Run from numbers to know about some out early in the game. I want to stress. I WANNA put so much stress on them that we can tie them out and then put the ball in Pat Mahomes Holmes hands in the second half and if you can take advantage of all no doubt a lot other angles will get to with the Super Bowl here. Plenty of time to discuss it. Manson great matchups to how about you know in the run. One Game George Kendall Frank Clark and there's a ton of great intriguing match-ups to keep an eye on But before the super there's the senior we've got senior bowl down here in Mobile Alabama Buck and if you're looking forward to one thing this week other than a lot of fried food what is it man. I'm looking forward to pass catches and the reason I'm looking forward to the past cash is just coming off the heels of the NFC championship game and looking at the contribution they deebo Samuel was able to make I think more guys narrow confident that some of the stuff that we see on the practice actress feel will carry over to how people perform in games and so we talked about the class Michael Pittman Junior van. Jefferson Devender Vernay A EUCH DOC from Arizona State one of my favorites there are some physical playmakers in this game. The should be able to make immediate contributions. I WANNA see if they're able to dominate manege on the practice field this week and then see if we can project how those guys may play S. Pros it's been it's been a really valuable evaluating tool because wide receivers. I haven't been exposed to a lot of routes now that they're going to get a chance to run this week. deebo Samuel Perfect example. Somebody that didn't do a lot of that. South Carolina showed during this week of practice. He was uncomfortable. I remember him and Rocky Sin Great match last year. offensive lineman some of these guys In terms of vertical sets. They've been doing things differently. Currently they're going to be asked to do this week. It's just pro style coaching It's a great great evaluation to a small school players A Guy like cal. Duggar from From lenore Orion get a chance to see him. Go up against you know bigger school players so those opportunities are huge. The terrific opportunities for those guys. It's funny that you bring up Caldas because this is an opportunity for small guys really stand out. We can talk about the visit with him by the way I'm looking forward to that yeah we can talk about the NFL. PA Game in the East West rang in. But there's something about the senior you bowl where you get opportunity to see some of the the top talent descend on Mobile Alabama and compete against one another. If you're a small school staff who can hold your own in this game a it gives you an opportunity to not only get drafted I but potentially play well in the National Football League We saw that. Who Was it? Ellie market came down. It has success so we've seen a number number of small school standouts half success and it was kind of the launching pad of the NFL careers. We'll see if we can find some of those guys show out here all right last thing in We'll wrap this thing up. Did you bring an extra beanie. Because I didn't bring on a Friday. "He's just going to have to know it. What did Devon fic- also wrote a couple pieces this week about where we are in the season and Morial day as a checkpoint and a milestone, I know that you were traveling for much that we can perhaps, not editing. Those wasn't so I would love to hear what's shit? Okay. Well, I just going to ask you about that. But. You've got to log weekend to catch up, what you didn't see when you were snowed in. I was I was getting snowed on at a graduation. And then yesterday didn't something else. Well, I, I can just summarize quickly because he summarized quickly when he wrote about this and, and, you know, he was looking at sort of should you check the standings before Memorial Day should you check the standings at Memorial Day. Does it actually mean anything and I think as Jeff has written repeatedly in the past. There is still just a lot of noise at this point in the season. And the best thing to do is always to look at the projections, which are even if you look at the preseason projections. They're more telling than what's happened season today. But if you look at the projections that are updated for the season, and also take into account what you expected coming into the year than that, that tends to be the most predictive thing like, really far into the season. So even though we are at that mile marker, where historically, people said, okay, you can start to pay attention now. In many cases, it's still too. Early to pay attention. And I think that's probably true for some of the teams that are leading or not leading right now. But on the other hand when I look at the teams that are in first place for instance doesn't look like there's going to be a whole lot of turnover between now and the end of the season, but never know. Right. I could see that the, the way that you summarized, that argument makes me think that Devender verbiage of writing it, and that Dylan did a terrific job, editing it and it's just so reassuring to hear both those things even though I had no doubts at all that it would be true. Doing a great job at my job. It's fine. I could see I could see that brewers team may be sneaking on the cubs. Although it's looking increasingly unlikely pitching still makes me a little bit nervous. But yeah, I think that when you look at the, the leaders of each of these divisions, Q may be see the Annell central and potentially the analyst doing a little swapping do. And perhaps the raise catch fire again and overtake. The Yankees were like you know, we finally get to the breaking point with Yankees, depth and someone else gets hurt than they struggle. But it does not feel as if there is likely to be a terrific amount of movement here. Even among the some of the lake teams that are really young and fund that we drafted highly in our fun teams draft the dodgers are probably gonna win the L west. I don't think the Padres are going to catch them. I think the Padres don't think the Padres going to catch them. Right. I think they're pretty realistic. Their odds if Cleveland was unwilling to do what they needed to really show. Up the central in the off season. You know, it seems unlikely this far out that they're going to necessarily make big moves the deadline. So it does sort of take the wind out or your sales, because things are feel very settled, even though we've had some early surprises with teams that have not performed as well as we expected like Cleveland in DC..

They're only making seventy seven the track only. Here's the secret. You don't want one because next year the road car the road car. All right. That's the one you want is the, you know what the fuck is supposed to do with this thing. Yeah, you know what I mean? It's like it's like eight hundred grand less. You are actually going to track it, but we'll, yeah, but. I guess yeah, but they're not your. There's not going a series. He and berry has a point, can't figure out who it's four besides for collectors to mothball, but can't blame Porsche for cashing in on trend. Totally valid points. I think some people will drive them. I think when they come out with a street version, people will drive those around a little bit. But yeah, I mean, some of these Porsche collectors, how fucking money, lots of money and it doesn't matter. They buy everything and some of them go to the track. I mean, I know some guys in the Middle East who have crazy cars and and they take them to racetracks plates on the back in a row. I know a guy who is the my home in Dubai has a Cup car, like a current generation Cup car, and he put tags on it is driving around. I don't know. I don't know. I don't think that's probably like nine eleven to that called nine million dollars just ran into a very nice Saudi national in at the top of the snake in nine eleven are who had the license plate. Nine one one are the plate itself must've been two hundred thousand dollars. I mean, so so crazy. I love how those us just fell off a cliff. Right value is. Yeah. Oh dude. It makes me laugh, but I still love, you know. I when he drove the car up the snake from a distance, it looks like a GT three touring. Yeah, but the sound it makes is distinctly different and I go, that's an art because you can hear you can actually hear the difference. It's a deeper note. It's not a piercing note like the GT three is interesting, very, very interesting car. Let's see. Turbe Kerber jeez, turmeric because I'm visiting LA next week. Could you recommend some car related events or activities won the Peterson rent a car and hit up the canyons..

"Obviously, my favorite interface was windows phone, but the reason that I don't like this device is because if you just so much as brush it on the side or with your finger or something, you're combine that with the one second lag and you're in. Places on your phone. You really never wanted to go. You know, I it has. So it's so sensitive in so just responsive to every little gesture in touch in movement and shake, and that, you know, it's very hard to just use it as a as a device in a member when a phone used to make phone calls that crazy, nobody makes phone calls anymore. I mean, it's one of the reasons that voice commands becoming good option just because I don't wanna take the fifty seconds of clicks and back clicks in, you know, to find the thing that I need when I can just say it. Yeah, I guess I'm lazy, but it's really just tedious having to use a phone that's so sensitive. That's my biggest gripe looking at a conversation between two millennials via, I believe it was WhatsApp where they were literally sending audio clips back and forth to each other. Like, you know. There's a caller naked. It's built into what's up union after change apps. Right. But you know what? Here's the thing when you're talking live like we are now, there's no such thing when what's up as the uncomfortable pause? Yes, which millennials are very, and I won't say just millennials, but I find children are very sensitive to the uncomfortable pause. You know, whereas, you know, if you're what's happening, you don't know what that person's doing. They might be in the bathroom. They might be making a sandwich. It isn't evolve form communication. I think the evolution is still happening. Yeah, two times interesting times. Well, I think that's about all the time we have speaking times James, it's always a pleasure to talk to you, sir. When are we going to see you again whenever you want me to come back on maybe every quarter maybe maybe ever happened at a lie? Yeah, you for months trying to get back on the months MAG. I doubt what you know. It'd be great one time if you ever down here and beautiful Seattle, Washington swing by channel nine get in our podcast booth. That's where I'm at right now and maybe we can record this thing live shrimp to the people. I challenge you. I like that idea. You're going to be at Devender section. I don't know as I invited I should be. I'll have to go back to look. I think you're always invited. Yeah. What about ignite? I will be at ignite. Yes, I'll be at ignite this year. Have quite a few presentations. I'm very excited about it. So cool if you're adding night comes say, hi, it's a very Dev Centric ignite this year. So that's interesting. Yeah, night's been really growing in the Dev seem, to be honest with you. I mean, build his huge, but United just people never been like billions of people so many people, it's crazy. So I think there's a lot of good Dev content if you can navigate the hundreds of sessions happening. But yeah, it's really good. Yeah. And the three times owns it spread across, you can't. That's true. Endless conference center. All right. James going to let you go until next time. Thanks again and being awesome. Yeah, thanks for having me again in honor over here. Anytime anytime I tell you come.

"You know, you compare Zama Ren's forms to WPF. They literally have different words for the same thing and same words for different things. So it makes a good place for those of us who can sit on the border. So if you have a c. plus plus app and you'd like to add a WPF control into it, that's not a lot of people you can phone and ask for help with that. That's like money in your pocket. And you know what it makes the apps amazing. Oh, well, the numbers are all in there. So you just grab control library. And I happen to be partial to the teller library, not saying there aren't others and you do a little wrapping and poof, they have a gas gauge in their twenty year old apple. They have live graphs that they can hover over and get the pop ups and and play around with. And they just throw money at us fast as they can basically. Okay. The you could make good looking visuals over top of plus program. Yeah, you are a wizard. That's right. But it's as long as my clients aren't listening, I'll tell you, it's actually not that hard. Doing. Secrets to say. Just saying. What's next for you? What are you doing? Are you doing speaking on c. plus, plus come into Devender section. I am not. I'm doing a lot of keynotes. I found out that I really like being opinionated and I do have some wisdom piled up and you get a lot more people to an opinionated talk then to a level five hundred super tech difficult talk, right? So it started with my stop teaching. See when your team poss-. Nice. Nice which has had a wonderful impact. People are actually listening in teaching sepals plus differently. Now that makes me very happy. Their minds me. One of my talks stop teaching flash when you're teaching web. Exactly. Yeah. I sense a series. I think we could. We could go with this. But then when I got caught up in the guidelines, the guidelines are amazing, but they're enormous. Like they're literally longer than the standard. And I came to realize it's not possible to write simple rules for how to write simple code because languages are complicated, and the thing you're trying to model is complicated. So let's say you're trying to teach someone to drive. Here's a simple question, how fast should I drive? Well, it depends, right. Like if you say, oh, you should drive the speed limit. Now you ran into the back of someone who slower than you write all well, okay. Unless there's someone in front of you now a dog runs out. Oh, yeah. You have to break when there's no the answer to help fashion I drive is like ten pages long and we haven't done one lane. Should I be in yet? So there's no chance of having a c. plus plus cop. Plug in to look at your code and say, no, that's not right. Can't do that. Well, so there are several checkers. Visual studio has one and claiming also clang as the other big compilers studio clang GCC clang has claimed tidy and they check against these hundreds of rules from the guidelines because some of them are quite simple mechanical because just because it compiles doesn't mean it's going to do what you think it's gonna do well, exactly or even even if it does it, it's still so one of the things I talk about a lot is, is your legacy because I work in legacy code and I'm like, if I talked some of these people twenty years ago. Yeah, the compiler. The compiler will cheerfully compile a ten thousand line function, right? All in one line. And it might even work, put my goodness. That's a horrible thing to try to deal with later or with multiple overloads. Taking slight variations on a theme in terms of the Pramod premier's we have default predators and sepals plots. Maybe that would be more expressive to just have one function, but say, you know, the last parameter defaults to false rather than have one version with the parameter in without it. And so the guidelines are often aimed at that how to make things more maintainable as time goes by. So it works passes all the tests, but it's still crummy. I want oncoming summer reading. You could read the guidelines or just hire Kate. It's been a real pleasure to talk to you. It always is and wish you the best. Thanks to. All right. We'll see you next time dot net..
